"my poor bug." logan cradled your head, running his fingers through your hair.

during a mission with charles to stop some humans from attacking mutants, you got thrown hard against a large piece of building debris.

when you arrived back to the mansion in a stretcher, logan raised hell, screaming about how he should have been there, that charles should have tried to protect you better.

logan's overprotective, that's for sure. you can handle your own. ...well, as long as you're feeling big, that is.

you whined, squeezing your eyes shut, "daddy, it hurts so bad!"

"i know, bug, i know-"

"i want it to go away! make it go away!" you slammed your fists against the white sheets underneath you.

logan took some deep breaths. your panic, your pain, your sadness, sparked his unrelenting rage. he didn't wanna make matters worse with your little self by extending his claws. but then he had an idea!

"i've got something that might cheer you up, bubs." he placed a gentle kiss on your forehead, then wiped some of your tears away.

"what is it? is it a present?!" you gasped excitedly.

"maybe..." he snickered. "close your eyes."

you covered your eyes with your hands, tears quickly drying up.

your daddy sped away, you could hear the rustling of his jeans and his sighs as he searched for whatever it was.

"alright, darlin'," logan sat beside where you laid. "go ahead, look."

he held a new stuffie with a bow tied around its neck. it was from your favorite tv show!

"supposed to be a christmas present for ya, but i felt like this was the right occasion, lovebug."

you grabbed the stuffie quickly and hugged it very tightly. "thank you, daddy!"

"anything for you, darlin'."

logan loved you very, very much. the day you told him about your regression, he was a hundred percent supportive. he didn't quite get it but the idea of being your caregiver, your dada? he was sold.

he did the best he could, but some things still stumped him. like, what might be hard for you to do when you're little.

"alright, sweetheart." you sat on the bottom steps of the indoor stairs. your dada stood in front of you, one hand on his hip, the other scratching his scruffy chin. "let's make sure you've got everything."

you stared at him with wide, attentive eyes.

logan squinted at that. usually, you've always got something to say. maybe today's not a talkative day. "alright, do you have your coat?"

you palmed your coat.

"gotcha. do you have your ear muffs?"

you rubbed the fuzzy ear covers that sat around your neck.

"got the ear muffs. let's see uh... do you have your shoes?"

you lifted your foot and wiggled your toes through your bluey themed socks.

"well, you can't walk out there barefoot." he chuckled at himself. "be right back, bun."

he arrived a little bit later with your black and white sneakers and knelt in front of you. he grabbed your foot, placing it on his knee. he lifted a shoe, slid it on your foot, then he did the other.

"tie your shoes, bub. gotta get your sippy filled."

he sped to the kitchen to grab your favorite cup, filling it with water. when he came back, you were staring down the hallway he walked down, your shoes still untied.

"what's the matter, bub?"

you looked at him with wide eyes, fiddling with the zipper on your coat.

"here, let me show ya." he knelt down. "hold these two laces up like this. now, we're gonna make an x, like x-men. the rabbits gonna go into this hole here and then we pull. now, from here, we're gonna make two bunny rabbit ears, that might be easiest for ya. gonna do the same thing. a bunny ear x, the bunny goes into the hole, and then all done. you got that, bub?"

you stared blankly at him, little giggles escaped from you.

"oh. how old we feelin', sweetheart?"

you reached up to gently pull and play with his hair. he chuckled at bit. not at you but just at the situation. you were feeling way too small to tie your own shoes, and that's a-okay.

When it comes to a particular cg, it's probably between Bucky, Steve, or Logan! I don't know much about much characters outside of marvel and a few other things... I draw a lot of agere art with Bucky though! He's my comfort character, so I spend a lot of time thinking about him but I really do love how you write for cg!Logan!

I'm in college too, so I get how hectic it can be to balance everything! But I think it's so cool that you have a kitty!!! Please don't rush with anything and remember to take breaks!! 🫂🩷
