1) chekov bonding with his dads

2) jim and spock getting constantly interrupted

3) scotty's lover (the enterprise) being insulted

(jim also got insulted but scotty didn't think that merited the effort)

4) uhura unlocking a wildlife disaster on account of cuteness

5) jim having the worst day (but used to it)

6) bones saying bi tribble rights

7) married flirting (this time with tribbles)

Have I ever told y'all how much I fucking love Kirk in The Trouble With Tribbles? Here's a man at the height of his career, one of the most talented and celebrated Starfleet captains in history and he's just so fucking done after just three days of dealing with these bullshit rodents and this fucking grain. And it's not like Kirk doesn't know how important grain is, he survived a genocide because the planet he grew up on was hit by famine. But when they find all the dead tribbles and Kirk asks McCoy how they died and he replies "Jim, I don't know how they stay alive!" he legit looks like he's about to burst a blood vessel. The whole episode he's most in his element when it looks like the Klingons are about to start some shit but then nope! they calm down after 5 minutes and he's heading to sickbay with a (gestures to head) headache.
