Something something Cerrit getting the HDYWTDT on Vespin. Something something Colin getting the HDYWTDT on Cauliflower/the Avatar. Something something sometimes you're just some guy and you're in combat and you're damn good at combat and the shifty-ass plotters and schemers who have called you friend while working around your morals are dropping and you just gotta Do The Thing, because everything is fucked if you don't.
And you succeed.

Obsessed with the solidarity between Brennan and Zac over their religious epiphanies in the last seconds of their falsely religious PCs' lives....
Versus the absolute dichotomy of Raphaniel Charlock's erroneous writings being discovered by the eventual Pontifex of the Bulbian Church compared to the final gift of Lapin Cadbury to a young duke of Candia.
This is what Calorum's all aBOUT, BABEY!

(FINALE SPOILERS) I have a lot of feelings about Karna and Raphaniel
Just the fact that the two characters most duplicitous at the start of this series. That traded in secrets. Brennan literally building raphaniel to be the perfect liar and Karna being willing to kill anyone who was a threat to her secrets.
The fact that despite this they allowed love into their hearts in different ways. That raphaniel regretted his act5ions so strongly at the end. that karna gave her body up for Deli.
That they both died in the ways of their nightmares. Raphaniel literally was chewed up by the blades that tortured him nightly and still did everything to convince the mycelium to help them. That karna literally was rotting giving everything up for the hungry one to try and defeat the archbishop and save deli/amangeaux.
That their deaths triggered legacies.
Amangeaux, essentially mourning Karna by carrying on her legacy and not letting this young girl be forgotten with her actions. That raphaniel's madness would carry on and shape the entirety of the plot of a crown of candy.
The fact that despite technically being worshipers of arch enemies within the church they both came together and understood that the hungry one and bulb ultimately its all a cycle. And they were connected at the end by a paternal-daughter bond not bound by blood.
I'm just a wreck now thinking of it:

i don't want to be mean or anything but like. the cr/t/cal r/le girlies in the dimension 20 tag are just sending me like, i just Knew these people be just all over this season and diving in and dissecting every little detail and speculating for the larger picture (of six episodes) (plus a season that's already been out for a year) as though people like. haven't been having to Sit with the Very, Very unfinished/untold part of the world of this campaign setting for Years already? (the Widely Established Fanlore of it all XD) although that's also been also been folding in the face of. all the colin posts (like Specifically colin too past even colin+raphaniel or colin+deli). like they fell for the cr bait so hard- group of fans starved for mlm content based on their typical cr diet, see a guy (Just Some Guy) looking the way he was, see his mysterious past and divorce and arc and glowup and post-divorce talks and. yknow. whaddya gonna do. that's all they're gonna talk about when the EXPLICITLY mlm radish priest who's been grooming that VERY SAME cheese guy for five years is right there.
anyways i'm going to write all that off anon and pretend i'm not deathly scared of invoking the wrath of cr fans after that thing on twitter
IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY FUNNY YEAH. gonna address the colin part first then talk about my problems with the season under a spoiler. listen I think deli & colin are very real in that deli wants him SO bad but it's crazy that people are dancing around colin's whole thing with raphaniel. like what do you guys think was going on there 😭 'he's his babysitter' SAY IT OUT LOUD! he was fucking that radish
now for my thoughts about the plot and pacing of ravening war
I do not like that this season (that was supposed to be about a war covering 7+ years of intense political conflict and full-scale warfare involving every country in the continent) got boiled down to 2 massive timeskips & 3 battle episodes of five guys fucking around in a cave because the entire war was actually started by a secret cult. there were no battles involving the actual war + 1 skill check for entire 5 years at a time + almost nothing politics wise + they missed the ENTIRE climatic final push for the end of the war because they were underground. it's so poorly paced, I really don't know what to say. am I the crazy one here for wanting a season about the ravening war to be about the war? it just doesn't feel like the characters had any impact on the plot past episode 3 and they ONLY because they kill the queen of candia because a cult told them to. because we get alliances forged and broken and conflicts ended and rulers crowned within the span of a single sentence from the DM before we chug back off to the mycelium hivemind main plot. hot take but every season does not in fact need a plot twist big bad to fight
all of the characters in the season are genuinely the most interesting characters I've seen in YEARS. it's a goddamn shame we didn't get to spend more time with them. it sucks that each of them brought so much intrigue and backstory to the war, but every single one of them ended up contributing not much at all to the scale of the campaign because, again, the final boss turned out to be a cult within the top secret cult of mushrooms that was ALREADY a secret but there is also ANOTHER, more powerful deity to fight in the very last episode. we needed more episodes, or less time spent on battles. we needed to not bring on a DM known for having all the time in the world to wrap up years-long campaigns in 5 hour chunks at a time, for a 6 ep miniseason. we did not need two more powerscaled deities for no reason to a war that should have been about the people and not... random alien eldritch forces. we needed closure on amangeaux's child, we needed to know WHY raphaniel was poisoning the king and starting a war in the first place. aabria wrote a whole essay about karna's backstory that I would've loved to see in the show itself, but... we didn't get to see it! there were almost no politics. we did get 4 separate secret underground mushroom fights though. in a campaign about a war.
"real life is messy! not everything gets wrapped up neatly! it reflects real wars!" this is a dnd show sir and when you spend 20 minutes out of 12 hours of content actually talking politics and the rest of the time fucking around with mushrooms in a cave, it starts to look less like a deliberate artistic choice and more like poorly paced plot threads that didn't get a chance to finish.
#and do not get me started on how dirty the rocks sisters were done.#asks#i-can-do-tricks#ravening war

![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/b430e0fd9d00de93a2ec64f3e269634e/7aaeec8fae82561e-1d/s540x810/57c57b7f2b2f6ccb7154108f2f7da9c9aa7879dd.jpg)
Motherfucking grossman - dumb and blonde or is he oblivious (* very*) he * from my understanding * found his parents dead and instead of going for help because hey ' what if they find my horror collection and think I'm the murder ' (*facepalm*) he made a deal with a demon to be the greatest killer the world and the underworld has ever seen...even tho he's a dumbass sorry sweetie love you tho <3
9
We literally don't know much about her ( thank you newer volumes for finally talking about the queen) other then she's ruby's mom and yang adopted mother who raised both girls better then raven ever could ( don't say anything about the DC comics I hadn't read those yet!!!) Amd how she went into a mission by ozpin and mysteriously died * starts playing red like roses two*
8
....she actually does deserve the worse but at the sametime...she lost her lover way to fucking soon, the gods were trying to obey the laws of nature ( which made say say push even more) and as punishment turn salem immortal where she try to commit suicide multiple times. At least until she jump into the puddle of darkness like Anthony did. God damn it what is with edgy characters and jumping into puddles of darkness I couldn't decide to put her at ten or nine. Because let's be honest she lost EVERYTHING even her sanity!
7
Junior..babe...why the FUCK DID YOU FUCK MANDY??? I MEAN SERIOUSLY! LOOK WHAT THE BITCH DID TO YOUR daughter/neice?? I feel like it's my family situation where I thought my uncle was just a family friend but oop plot twist my uncle is my biological dad (* user note; I have sever daddyissues help*) LIKE CMON WHY QUEEN BIT- well actually woth how much of a whore mandy is in the comic....I'm not surprised you'd fuck her BUT STILL!? can't believe you don't have good standards AND ILL SAY WHY IN

Abused by her mother to become a weapon minnie actually stole back her power from junior because he proved to ' not be worthy of such power ' when he showed more mercy and sympathy towards the nergal species * or as I call em on the blog symbiotes * this is most likely to show proof to her mother she's not a failure or whatever
5

Fuck you I'm bringing GIR rip off into this; Chuck is literally one of the best characters in PASWG because well..its Chuck! But poor guy every episode gets killed off/beaten up for comical relief reasons. He's basically the Kenny *south park* to the show
4
Ahh my two favorite girls; Satsuki Kiryuin and her baby sister Ryuko Matoi. Force to split up as babies ( isshine taking ryuko faking their deaths to escape and Ragyo keeping satsuki) to later become pawns to a war they shouldn't be apart of to begin with was used as testaments to fuel with life fibers ( worked 100% for ryuko and 1-99 % for Satsuki) Satsuki grew in a abusive household ( ragyo touching her daughter) while in the matois home isshine neglects ryuko so he could make senketsu in his lab, grew into two different households and lives one was stuck thinking her sister died while the other was not aware her future rival was her sister all along. Im so proud of these two girls at the end
3
I'm gonna be real woth you guys; I was gonna put him at two and frankie three since hey His FATHER LITERALLY STOLE HIS SEMBLANCE AND ABUSED HIM 24/7 TO TURN HIM INTI A WEAPON but honestly with how much wasted potential * I still love my husband tho* RT gave him I'm putting frankie at the honorable mentions
2
You guys have NO idea how happy it makes me to have THIS SPECIFIC CHARACTER APPEAR ON THIS BLOG spoiler as to why; hehe daddy Kurosaki Like yeah sure idk much about him since I hadn't played birthnight ( I want too so fucking badly) but I know enough of him thanks to the wiki and crosstag to put him in 2; Gordeu is one of the most laid back and carefree characters you'll ever meet; however there's a Darkside about this King of Greed * wasn't kidding when I said to some that he's important* he was a former member of team Amnesia and a highly skilled mercenary ( or in this blog; one of the most powerful Reapers out in the underworld realm) that actually also works at the bar had actually lost his best friend and end up having sever suicide thoughts and depression
1 * this is gonna shock you *

A Fly On The Wall - THE 100 REWRITE Chapter Fourteen
[THE 100 MASTERLIST]
Previous Chapter / Next Chapter
Summary: Their little expedition didn’t do much except bring back an umpteenth survivor from the ark, even though their original goal was to go and save their friend trapped in Mount Weather. Abby tended to the wounded and Finn and Murphy were pardoned for what happened to the Grounders’ village, which pissed Michelle since John had done nothing wrong, at least this one time... Abby then took Michelle, Clarke, Raven, Bellamy, Octavia and Finn along with her on a scouting mission, but she couldn’t possibly keep an eye on all these strong but rebellious kids, could she?
Words: 3.9k
Warnings: The 100 season 2 spoilers (episode 5 “Human Trials” & 6 “Fog of War”), wound, blood, sarcasm, unfairness, revelation, unexpected reunion, threat/warning
“Open the gate.” Abby requested inside the camp after she saw the group of teenagers come back, minus Murphy and Finn obviously. The gate buzzed and opened for them. While Bellamy helped the girl they had rescued, a hand in her back, Octavia and Monroe supported Michelle, her arms around her back and the injured girl holding onto their shoulders, hopping so as not to put pressure on her wounded leg. The arrow was still inside but thanks to Octavia and Monroe’s help, the pain was greatly reduced. It also seemed like the blood wasn’t flowing like she thought it would so it was good news also, but she still needed her leg to be taken care of by Abby as soon as they would finally step into camp. For some reason, Michelle found that it hurt a bit less than whe her hand was slashed by a Grounder’s machete, so she wasn’t so worried anymore, just really hurting but that was normal.
“We’re gonna need your weapon.” A camp guard seized Bellamy’s gun as he entered along with Mel. He let go fo the weapon, showing the palm of his hand in peace. Abby approached them and looked at the new girl. Her face was stained with dry blood, and she looked exhausted.
“I know you. Factory Station. Where are the others?”
“There are no others.” The girl said in a hollow voice.
“We found her a day from here.” Bellamy stated. “No survivors. Lots of supplies.”
“Get her to medical.” Abby then ordered and another woman led her to the tent. She then shifted her gaze on Michelle and as Monroe and Octavia let go of her so Abby could take her, the girl looked up and saw Clarke running towards them and widened her eyes. A radiant smile rose on both their faces, and they looked at each other for a second.
“You look like hell.” Michelle joked with a chuckle, looking at all the scars she had on her face. Clarke glanced down at her bandaged leg. A tiny shaft was sticking out and the dressing was partially soaked in blood. Michelle followed her gaze and shrugged before showing her hand. A few stitches had skipped and there were small but dried streaks of blood on her palm. “I'm starting a collection of battle scars, pretty cool, huh?”
Clarke shook her head, giggling softly and they hugged, their arms wrapped around each other tightly as if they didn’t want to let go of the other but eventually, they had to, and Abby helped Michelle to get to medical. Michelle felt Abby’s gaze on her, but she looked around the camp, purposefully avoiding looking at her. She felt like she was going to say something about Kane if she established eye contact and she had no desire to do so. She didn’t even want to be thinking about that. It was too confusing and upsetting and she wanted her mind to be fixated on anything but this. He didn’t feel like her father anyway and she didn’t need him. She still blamed him for the death of her mother because it was his fault that she had ended up in solitary confinement, like Clarke, and was then sent to the ground. She still thought that maybe if she had been there when the bomb went off on Unity Day that she could have done something, or at least, she could have seen her mother one last time and say goodbye, but no. And she only had him to blame. At first, she blamed herself, for not talking to her mom when they had this whole radio installed but he was the one that deserved her resentment, and she wouldn’t think twice before showing him.
“All right.” Abby helped her to lie down on a bed in the infirmary and she brought a chair closer to sit at her leg. She carefully unwrapped the dirty bandage from around her thigh and grabbe a pair of scissors to cut through her jeans and have better access to the arrow so she could take the head out. Michelle knew this was going to hurt “It’s very helpful that you broke the shaft already.”
“I thought it would be easier to move around without the whole thing sticking out.” Michelle shrugged. Abby nodded and observed the injury in silence, palpating lightly around the entering wound. After a dozen of seconds, she looked at Michelle.
“It didn’t hit the femoral artery. That’s why you didn’t just bleed out. And it just penetrated soft flesh in your thigh, I can pull it out.” She explained and Michelle just nodded without saying anything. Abby started sorting through her tools on a plate nearby. Along with the surgical instruments were bandages ad a few other things Michelle couldn’t identify. Abby dipped a small cloth in alcohol and cleand around the arrow before softly grabbind what was left of the shaft. As she did so, she looked at Michelle. “On three. One… two… three.”
When she pulled it out, Michelle let out a shriek. She swallowed harshly, her clenched fist up to her mouth and she groaned. It felt like something was tearing her skin apart and she felt as if her leg was on fire while Abby was already applying pressure on her thigh to stop any more bleeding. Michelle took a deep breath in and loudly exhaled with a sigh. She was a little dizzy, but she stared at Abby as she cleaned the wound with alcohol. It stung and she wanted to move her leg around, but she kept still, frowning and keeping it together during the thorough and deep cleaning of the tear in her leg. Abby gave her comforting smiles every now and then and she eventually bandaged her leg with clean dressing and got to her hand where she just fixed the few stitches that had skipped.
“Now, please, stay put and get some rest, and please, don’t get these wounds open again, Michelle.”
“Got it.” She assured and sighed, staring at the ceiling of the infirmary, not even realizing she was actually falling asleep, and her head rolled to the side.
TWO DAYS LATER
Michelle took a sip of her drink and twirled the glass on the table distractedly, glancing up at the moon high in the sky before looking at Bellamy and Clarke sitting with her around the table.
“Okay, tell me again.” Bellamy demanded heavily.
“It’s a labyrinth. We got to the dam through this tunnel.” Clarke leaned on the table, a pencil in her hand and she pointed on a map. “It’s all connected to the mine system. That’s our way in.”
“Sure, if we can get past the Reapers and the Mountain Men.” He and Clarke stared at each other. “I swear to God, if your mom doesn’t sanction a mission soon... I’m going by myself.”
“You won’t be by yourself.”
“Hey,” Michelled snapped her fingers. “you’re not leaving me out of this.” Clarke sighed and looked at her best friend, nodding before her eyes were drawn by movement at the entrance of the Station. Bellamy and Michelle followed her gaze and saw people coming out. Finn followed by Murphy, to be more precise.
“I guess the inquisition’s over.” Bellamy figured and he turned to Clarke again. “How’s Finn doing, anyway?”
“I haven’t talked to him since we got back. I don’t know what to say.” Her eyes drifted into the void. “He just kept shooting.”
“We’re at war, Clarke. We’ve all done things.”
“You slaughtered a Grounder village too? ‘Cause I haven’t.” Michelle retorted bitterly and Bellamy silently sighed as Finn approached the table, coming from behind the latter.
“Hey.” He said and Michelle shot her eyebrows and looked away, taking a last sip of her drink.
“Hey.” Bellamy replied and he glanced at Clarke as she remained silent. He leaned on his hand and stood up. “Next round’s on me.”
“Generous.” Michelle watched him walk away. He was giving her a heavy look, but she wasn’t leaving Clarke alone with Finn anytime soon. She didn’t like the idea of letting the Spacewalker be anywhere near Clarke alone, even though she knew Clarke could take care of herself on her own and it wasn’t going to go downhill right now, in the middle of a heavily armed camp. He would be apprehended quickly if he got as crazy as he did in this village. But still, she didn’t want to leave, and she wasn’t going to, unless Clarke asked her to. Only then would she move.
“Mount Weather?” Finn sat down in Bellamy’s place and glanced at the detailed map on the table. Clarke simply nodded, not making eye contact with him. “What’s the plan?”
“Still working on it.” She barely looked at him in the eyes before looking away again.
“Ah, check it out.” Michelle turned her head to the side when she heard Murphy approaching. He sat between Michelle and Clarke and looked at Finn, clearly ignoring the awkwardness of the moment on purpose. “Salvaged Monty’s still from the drop ship. Now, I guess, you know, if they could just salvage Monty, huh? Heh.” Clarke seemed upset by his comment. “Easy, it was just a joke.” He smirked as he looked at the three others around the table, his cup in hand. “Okay. You tell her we’re cleared?”
“No.” He said in a low tone, shaking his head.
“Well, looks like our pardon for surviving includes our time on the ground. Now bigger fish to fry, I guess.”
“We did what we had to do.” Finn insisted, staring at Clarke who kept avoiding looking at him until he stood up. “I gotta go.”
“Trouble in paradise?” Murphy whistled.
“Just because they pardoned you, doesn’t mean I have.” She replied calmly and Murphy shot up his eyebrows, taking a sip of his drink. Michelle kept quiet because the fact that he was getting blamed along with Finn when it was, he who lost it and murdered a whole village of Grounders, and she didn’t want to get into an argument with Clarke over this very subject. She didn’t want to fight so she didn’t speak her mind, but she would, eventually. Clarke rolled her eyes and looked up at Raven as the mechanic walked over to them.
“Clarke. Beat it, Murphy.”
“Well, then, have a good one.” He stood up, almost whispering before walking away as Raven sat down. Michelle hadn’t been asked to leave as well, but she got the feeling that Raven didn’t want to talk to her either, so she followed Murphy and she didn’t really mind; she wasn’t friendly with Raven. As they walked, Murphy slipped his arm around her shoulders, and she looked up at him. They went a little further away after refilling their drinks and sat down. She sighed and drank. “Mind to continue where we left off last time?”
“What do you mean?” She frowned slightly.
“You told me you’d never known who your dad was.”
“Oh, that.” She cleared her throat.
“And that Abby told you about him.”
“Yeah. She did that.” She cleared her throat, sighing, looking around. She was silent for a moment, because she didn’t want to say it outloud, as if it would make it actually real, even though it already was, and she knew it, but she still didn’t want it to be. “She, uh… she told me my father is Marcus Kane.” He stayed silent, looking in the void and frowned.
“Wait, really?”
“I wished it wasn’t true. But it is. I mean, he fathered me, that’s it. He’s not my dad. Never had one.” She sighed, looking down at her drink, staring at the liquor trembling imperceptibly between his fingers.
“Does he know?”
“Well, Abby told me so. She said that when my mother was dying after the bombing on the Ark, she told him herself.” She chuckled bitterly and she was so upset and frustrated that her voice shook as she continued. “When I found him and Abby after the station they were on had landed, I hoped to see my mom with them but no, just this fucker and Abby. She told me about what happened and I just… wanted him to be dead too.” She cleared her throat, sniffed and wiped away the tears that welled up in the corners of her eyes and straightened up before taking a sip of her drink, glancing at Clarke and Raven talking. She felt Murphy’s gaze on her and she looked at him. “No one but you, me, Abby and Kane, know that he’s my dad.”
“Not even Clarke?” He asked.
“I haven’t had the time to tell her and, I don’t know, I don’t know if it’s the right time to talk about this. You said it yourself, “bigger fish to fry”, I guess.”
“Was that supposed to be an impression of me?” He rose his eyebrows with a cheeky and amused smile. She couldn’t help it but laugh and she just shrugged it off.
“I don’t know. You tell me.” He kept smirking as they both took a sip of their drinks and she exhaled.
“Do you still wish he was dead?” Her smile faded and she bit the inside of her cheek, tilting her head to the side.
“I don’t know.” She pursed her lips and shrugged. “I just don’t want him to be my dad. I hate him.”
“I mean, he’s an asshole.” He agreed and she said nothing. “He locked us up and put you in solitary confinement.”
“So, I’m not a douchebag for blaming it all on him?” She turned her head to face his.
“No.” He said softly, his blue eyes glaring into her almond brown eyes. She smiled feebly and he tightened his grip of her, squeezing her shoulder tenderly. While the others disliked him and he was often their scapegoat, she loved him and understood him very much. More than she would have thought.
“Don’t forget to look up. The Grounders use the trees.” Bellamy reminded everyone as the group progressed in the forest, all equipped with their backpacks, and a few of them with guns also. “That’s how we lost John Mbege.”
Michelle was there along with the others. Neither Clarke nor Abby or even Bellamy were able to convince her to stay in camp. She refused to stay on the side and wanted to help them. Hurt or not, she would have tag along and that’s what happened. Even Abby admitted that walking wouldn’t do her any harm, she would just have to be careful if any action came their way and avoid being in the eye of the storm. Michelle needed some distraction from her own thoughts and focusing on a rescue mission was perfect. The little chat she had with Murphy last night had somehow really helped with steadying her nerves and she felt a little better. She had the right to be angry at Kane as he was the only person, she could blame for everything. It was better to do that than guilt-trip herself and he made her see that. Her mom wouldn’t want to see her dear daughter torturing herself over this either. They exited the forest and stopped near a cliff where Raven got her binoculars out and looked up, watching the surroundings to find Mount Weather antenna. They had apparently been jamming their radio frequencies.
“There. I see it.” She stretched her arms, pointing at the top of the mountain facing them. Clarke stepped closer to her, and she handed her the field glasses. The blonde then shook her head.
“It’ll be dark soon. We’ll never spot the traps.” She gave the binoculars to her mother. “We should set up camp here. Leave at first light.” Michelle observed Abby as the doctor looked around.
“We’re missing two.” She declared before turning to Clarke. “Where the hell are they?”
“Bellamy, Octavia!” A guard started calling out their names, walking around the area to try and spot them. Michelle wasn’t in on whatever this new plan was, but she honestly didn’t care. She knew the two and it wasn’t hard for her to imagine why they would disappear like that. They were on the real rescue mission. “Clarke, we are in enemy territory, and their lives are my responsibility.”
“They went to find a way in.” Clarke said.
“A way in? That’s not what this mission is about.” There was seriousness in Abby’s eyes.
“It is for them.” Abby turned around and looked at a camp’s guard standing a few feet behind her.’
“Find them. Bring them back.”
“Yes, ma’am.” He looked over at other guards. “You two with me. Let’s go.”
“I’m going with them.” Finn picked up a gun.
“Finn, wait.” Clarke stopped him herself.
“We need you here.” Raven stood before him.
“Why? So, you can keep an eye on me?” Clarke glanced down at the gun in his hands. “You’d have to be able to look at me to do that.”
“Finn.”
“What do you think I’m gonna do?” He snapped at Raven. Michelle crossed her arms over her chest and rose her eyebrows. What they feared he would do was pretty obvious to the lot of them.
“Now that you ask, I really don’t know what we’re so afraid of.” Michelle mocked, keeping a straight face as he walked past her, throwing the gun to the ground and walking away.
“I’ll go get him.” Clarke said, glancing at Michelle before following the crazy spacewalker. Then after a few dozen of seconds, Michelle looked up over the trees and narrowed her eyes until she realized what it was.
“Abby.” The latter looked at her and then followed her gaze and saw it as well. “Install the tents! That’s acid fog.”
“Clarke? Clarke, do you read me?” Abby called through the radio. Everyone had installed the tents in a hurry the moment they heard Clarke’s voice come through, warning them about the acid fog coming and now they were safe, waiting for it to pass. There was a static crackling coming from the radio and no answers from Clarke, or Finn.
“We’re closer to the source. It’s swallowing short-range now too.” Raven said.
“Clarke, do you read me?” She tried again even though she had not been very successful up to this point. “Damn it.”
“Clarke and Finn know these woods.”
“She left her pack, and her tent is in it.”
“They must have gone to the bunker.” Michelle assumed.
“Yes. They’ll find shelter.” Raven agreed as she turned a few buttons on the radio until indistinct voices came to their ears.
“What is that?” Abby wondered.
“I don’t know.” Raven frowned, focusing on the radio monitor. “It sounds like they’re jamming every frequency but this one. You hear that? This one’s clear.”
“That sounds clear to you?”
“It will be once I crack the encryption.”
“English, Raven. What does it mean?” Abby was confused. Michelle frowned slightly, thinking.
“It means that we can listen in on them.”
“Exactly.” Raven nodded and she focused back on the radio monitor, twithing the buttons and tapping here and there, doing whatever she knew to do to crack the encryption, as she said. Abby and Michelle were smart but not as tech-savvy as Raven, so they watched her do her thing for a while, still hearing the indistinct voices and static noise coming from the radio.
“What’s taking so long?” Abby eventually asked.
“I’ve almost got it.” She glanced at her and Michelle. “They’re using a type of audio modulation here, like a feedback loop. I just need to pinpoint the origin of the loop, home in on the pure transmission. Just need to find the right…”
“Check the other side and report back, over.” A man’s voice rose from the radio.
“You did it.” Abby noted and Raven smiled proudly as they listened to the voices.
“Copy. Checking the western boundary. Stand by. Over.” Another replied. "No signs of life, over.”
“Has the veil lifted yet? Over.” The first man inquired.
“Negative, sir.”
“Coverage is still 90 percent. Over.”
“Keep searching.” That one seemed like a leader of some sort to the soldier from Mount Weather. Abby, Raven and Michelle were staring at each other, smiles had faded while they listened. “If they pop up, hit them again, over and out.”
“The veil. They’re talking about the fog.” Michelle realized.
“It’s a weapon.” Abby added.
“Which means they attacked us.” Raven said and Abby turned around, lifting a piece of fabric to see outside thanks to a see-through circle in the tent. The fog was still very much out there.
“Sergeant Porter.”
“Yes, ma’am?” He answered from the other tent.
“Build your bomb. When that fog lifts, take the tower down. Copy?” Raven shook her head as Abby gave the order.
“Copy, ma’am.”
“What’s wrong?” Abby stared at the young woman.
“We’re listening to the enemy.” Raven stated frowning. “Blow the antenna and we won’t be able to do that.”
“Don’t blow it and we won’t make contact with any other Ark survivors, and we need those reenforcments, Raven.”
“Tough call.”
“I know what Clarke would do.” Michelle spoke. Abby peeked at her before looking down at the ground from the corner of her eyes. It was a tough call, and it was either find other survivors, if there were any left out there, or spy on their enemies and eventually rescue their peers in the mountain. Clarke wouldn't have jeopardized their friends' rescue, and it wasn't what Abby wanted to do either.
The fog had finally gone. They put the tents away and returned near the camp and waited in the open foe the others’ return. Bellamy and Octavia had gone inside Mount weather, so it was no surprise when they only saw Clarke and Finn walk up to them. Abby immidietaly to hug her daughter and Clarke then embraced her childhood best friend and found sister. They stepped away from each other after a moment and the blonde frowned, looking at her mother.
“Bellamy and Octavia?”
“They know to rendezvous here.”
“Have you tried to radio?”
“Still jammed.” Raven said.
“You didn’t blow the tower.” Clarke pointed out.
“Raven figured out a way that we could listen to Mount Weather.” Abby told Clarke. “If we took out the antenna, we wouldn’t be able to do that.”
“What about the other Ark stations?” She worried.
“We don’t know if they made it. What we do know is that 47 of our people are being held prisoner in that mountain. We’re gonna get them out.” On these words, Abby and Clarke shared another hug and Michelle crossed her arms over her chest with a soft smile before glancing at Mount Weather. They thought this place would help save them, but in the end, it wasn’t such a safe place, for them at least. The calm of this moment of respite was broken by the voice of a man coming from the forest, calling for help.
“Stay here, chancellor.” A guard requested as he jogged away. His machinegun clicked when he loaded the weapon, aiming straight ahead. “Show us your hands.”
There was a moment of suspense as he watched apprehensively as a man stood up in front of the guard. What a shocking surprise to see Thelonious Jaha stand there, looking exhausted and filthy, blood staining his face, broken handcuffs hanging from his wrists. He stretched out his arm to the gurad’s gun to lower it and he walked over to Abby. The latter couldn’t take her eyes off him; his return came like a bolt from the blue.
“Thelonious?” Abby grabbed his arm as he fell to his knees, looking at the huge Ark ring of camp Jaha.
“I have a message from the commander.” He articulated. “Leave… or die. We have two days.”

HIVE TIMELINE TWO, ELECTRIC BOOGALOO (Updated and reworked for Bloodline; spoilers ahead!)
It's a year since my original HIVE timeline (which you can read here and is obviously pre-Bloodline), and how things have changed. Well...kind of. I was expecting more of my timeline to crumple under the weight of eight years' worth of continuity errors but, unlike most of my pre-Bloodline fic, my 2020 timeline has stayed somewhat intact. However, in light of Nessa's excellent post that used the Bloodline prologue to figure out Raven's birthday with a scary amount of accuracy, I've decided that somewhat intact just isn't enough. Lo and behold...find the C ottomalpense new and improved H.I.V.E. timeline under the cut. This is just my interpretation of the canon timeline; because Walden contradicts himself constantly when it comes to age and continuity, most of these dates are educated guesses and any other interpretations are more than valid. Bloodline spoilers below.
PART ONE: RAVEN
In my original timeline, I used two anchor dates: Otto's 13th birthday being August 29th 1993, and Raven being 16 in the 'fifteen years earlier' Hong Kong flashback, making her 31 in Aftershock/Deadlock. Using the age difference between her and Otto, I counted backwards to give Raven a birth year of 1979. Otto's birthday still holds up, but Bloodline has since made it clear that Raven was 15 in Hong Kong. Therefore, several options presented themselves in order to salvage the rest of the timeline.
Option 1: Raven was indeed born in 1979, and Hong Kong takes place in 1994. This would make her 27 in H.I.V.E., given that she has a September birthday and H.I.V.E. takes place between September-December 2006. However, this means Raven that if Raven is 30 in Aftershock/Deadlock, there are only three years between the first seven books....something that canon vaguely supports given Shelby's "I've waited three years for you two to get together" comment to Laura and Otto in Deadlock, but feels very, very unrealistic given the number of time skips and the sheer volume of things that happen in the first seven books. My original timeline was created to get rid of the stasis in canon and give a better sense of the progression of time between books. Keeping Raven's birth year as 1979 undermines that.
Option 2: Raven was born in 1981, Hong Kong takes place in 1996, and she is 25 in H.I.V.E., meaning that there's exactly five years between H.I.V.E and Aftershock. This supports my earlier placement of Aftershock being the start of fifth year, but 25 feels kind of...young? It also hinges on Raven knowing her exact birth date before she finds out that Nero is her father, which I personally don't think Bloodline supports - Nero didn't know her birthday, and I think if Raven did know, she would've told him pre-Bloodline.
Option 3: Raven was born in 1980, Hong Kong takes place in 1995, and she is 26 in H.I.V.E., but, because she doesn't know her birth date, she celebrates her birthday on New Year's Eve. So while Raven would technically be 31 in Aftershock, she would still consider herself 30 until the end of the year, as would Nero. This gives a little bit more leeway with her age, reduces the number of changes in the overall timeline, and accounts for the overall unreliability of both Raven and Nero's narration in the flashback scenes - given that one of them had been traumatised so thoroughly that she had recurring psychotic episodes just months before that scene, and the other had his memory tampered with to the point where he misremembered the date of worst day of his life.
I personally opted for Option 3, making Raven's new birthday 3rd-6th September 1980. She is 33 in the Bloodline epilogue. Therefore Hong Kong still takes place in 1995.
PART TWO: OTTO
This is just a rehash of my last timeline, but for clarity's sake: Otto being an August 1993 birthday makes him one of the youngest in his year, meaning that everyone else (Lucy, Wing*, Nigel, Franz, Shelby, Laura, and Penny) were all 1992/3 babies. Bloodline takes place right at the end of his final year (meaning I correctly predicted that it would be set in 2012), making him 19. Something I forgot to mention in my original timeline is that Tom is described as being a few years older than Penny in H.I.V.E., but given that Tom isn't really alive for long enough to present me with an issue timeline wise, I'm just going to let that one slide. The Bloodline epilogue thus takes place in 2013.
As always, I am ignoring Rogue's claim that Otto is 13, because it doesn't make sense in any context (if Otto really is 13, it means he magically ages three years in Zero Hour and Aftershock according to Walden's own implication that Otto is 16 by Aftershock...which I'm also ignoring, but whatever). Laura still choosing between universities in September 2013 is weird, because either she is very, very late for the 2013 academic year, or very, very early for the 2014 one, but, again, I am ignoring it. Essentially, nothing meaningful has changed for any of the student ages between this timeline and the 2020 one.
PART THREE - NERO
This is where it gets interesting. This time last year, my Nero section was just speculation. I was, uh, very off, and did not account for how early Nero knocked Elena up. That was on me. My bad!
Nero is in his early 20s when Elena is murdered. If we take the year to be 1980, and early 20s to mean anything between 20-24, we can get an approximate birth year of 1956-1960. I'm going to average that to 22, making Nero's birth year 1958. He's a practically spritely 48 in H.I.V.E, and 55 in the Bloodline epilogue.
(Also, I am treating the 'thirty years' in the 'thirty years ago' flashback to be an estimate. Nero has memory issues and also thirty years has a much better ring to it than thirty-two.)
PART FOUR - DIABOLUS
We can't talk about Nero without mentioning Diabolus because I, for one, have been haunted by the knowledge that Nero taught Diabolus for years. However, assuming Nero immediately joins the H.I.V.E. teaching staff in 1980 following Elena's death, he is 22. If Diabolus is a first year student, we can give him a birth year of 1966/7. That said, I tend to think Diabolus is a little bit older than that, given how close he and Nero are in Hong Kong, so if we age him up to a third year in Nero's first year of teaching, that makes him 15/16 with a birth year of 1964/5. There's only 6/7 years between him and Nero, leaving plenty of time for them to become close friends by Hong Kong, during which Nero is 37 and Diabolus is approaching 30. That means Diabolus had Nigel at 27/28.
PART FIVE - THE OVERLORD INCIDENT AND XIU MEI
The Overlord Incident (henceforth the OI) is the bane of my existence. There's no mention of Raven in the original flashback in the Overlord Protocol, implying that she wasn't around yet, but it's referenced as still being a work in progress in Hong Kong. Again, this is a rehash of my previous timeline, but the Deadlock interpretation doesn't work; regardless of anything else, Wing was definitely born in 1992/3 in order to be in the same year as Otto, and either Wing or Raven would be too young for the OI to occur after Hong Kong (Raven was only 13 in 1993 in this interpretation of events, and this is one that puts her on the older side - there's an argument to be made for her being born in 1983, which would make her 10). Ergo, in this timeline, the OI precedes Hong Kong.
As mentioned, Wing had to have been born in 1993 at the latest, and the evidence suggests that he's most likely one of the older kids in their year, pointing to a 1992 birthday, meaning Xiu Mei got pregnant by January 1992 at the earliest. There must be time allowed for the following to occur between Wing and Otto's births and the OI: survivors of the OI to start going missing, Xiu Mei and Wu Zhang /Cypher to marry and move to Japan in order to escape persecution, and Overlord to get enough soft power over Number One to convince him to start trying to produce a clone of himself to be his successor. At earliest this can be 1991. I, however, think that it's more likely to be January 1990, given Overlord's comments about how much Number One initially resisted having his brain hijacked. This is the same as my previous timeline.
Unlike my previous timeline, however, I'm also going to attempt to estimate the year of Xiu Mei's death. While the Overlord Protocol does not explicitly state this, it can be inferred that Nero receives Xiu Mei's locket and letter after she is murdered by Overlord for investigating the Renaissance project. Nero receives the locket "many years" before Overlord Protocol (which takes place roughly in Spring/Summer of 2007), but Xiu Mei was also presumed "long dead" already when he received it as a result of the OI. This puts 17 years between Xiu Mei's faked death and Nero's reminiscence over the locket and letter in 2007 after the assassination attempt in Vienna. Xiu Mei can't have died before Wing was at least 5 years old, given the strong memories he has of her and the fact that he made a promise to her not to kill anyone, so I'm tentatively putting Xiu Mei's real death at 2001, when Wing would've been 9. This leaves just enough time for Cypher to establish himself as a thorn in Nero's side, and for his relationship with Wing the deteriorate to what we see in the Overlord Protocol.
PART SIX - OTHER
I've been meaning to do the maths on this for a while, but H.I.V.E.mind was officially brought online April 10th, 2006! (He'd been online for four months, three weeks, and two days by September 1st.) Nero really was paranoid after the OI.
Brexit doesn't occur in the H.I.V.E.verse, because Duncan Cavendish (David Cameron) resigns in 2010, AKA way, way, before the rise of UKIP and the 2016 referendum. The Iraq war, however, does - Tony Blair is heavily, heavily implied to be the prime minister in 2006.
Not really timeline related, but the fact that both Otto and Raven are Virgos is enough to make me shudder.
TL;DR - THE (FINAL???) TIMELINE
1950-59: The Furan siblings are born at some point. Two siblings are twins, presumably Elena and Anastasia or Anastasia and Pietor. At some point, they are owed a blood debt by the Sinistres.
1958: Nero is born.
Early 1960s: H.I.V.E. is founded, most likely by Nero's mother.
1964-5: Diabolus Darkdoom is born.
Late 1970s: Elena and Nero start their affair.
1980: Elena is murdered by Pietor. Raven is born. Nero has his memory of Raven's survival forcibly erased by Francesca Sinistre, clearing the blood debt between the Furan and Sinistre families.
1980s: Diabolus Darkdoom and Duncan Cavendish attend and graduate H.I.V.E. Diabolus and Nero become friends.
1989: Raven runs away from her orphanage.
1990: The Overlord Incident takes place, leaving three named survivors: Nero, Xiu Mei, and Wu Zhang. Overlord begins to assert control over Number One.
1991: Raven is found by the Furans and brought to the Glasshouse. Wu Zhang and Xiu Mei marry and immigrate to Japan after survivors of the Overlord Incident start going missing.
1992: Presumably the year Raven claws out Pietor's eye and gets shot in the woods, it is also the point at which Overlord/Number One most likely starts considering cloning himself. In the final quarter of the year, some students - most likely Wing, Shelby, and possibly Laura - are born.
1993: Otto and the rest of the students in his year are born.
1994: Likely the year Dimitri's escape attempt fails, and Raven is forced to murder Tolya. Also presumably when H.I.V.E.'s Icelandic location became dangerously compromised, and Nero starts seriously considering plans to move. At this point his mother is dead.
1995: Nero and Diabolus go to Hong Kong to meet with the Architect, and thwart Raven's assassination attempt. Raven eventually defects to G.L.O.V.E., and the first Glasshouse burns.
1996-2000: Construction on H.I.V.E. 2.0 is completed. Nero starts work on the emergency Zero Hour protocol.
2001: Xiu Mei is murdered by Overlord for asking too many questions about the Renaissance initiative. Wu Zhang becomes Cypher. Nero receives his half of the amulet, and Xiu Mei's letter.
2001-2005: Lucy's parents die of unknown causes. Diabolus Darkdoom falsifies his death to escape execution for getting too close to the Renaissance initiative, possibly after divorcing his wife first. Otto drops out of school and starts scamming local business to repair St Sebastian's. At some point Pike convinces Nero to try AI again. Number One's will is entirely consumed by Overlord.
2006: H.I.V.E.mind goes online. Pike's experiment to give Ms Leon the same reflexes as her cat goes horribly wrong, leaving them both trapped in the wrong body. Shelby becomes the Wraith and makes headlines for stealing millions of dollars' worth of jewellery. Laura is caught hacking the nearby American air base's early nuclear warning system. Otto hypnotises the current prime minister, allowing Duncan Cavendish to come into power. During a failed escape attempt from H.I.V.E., several hundred million pounds' worth of damage is caused to H.I.V.E. by Nigel's experimental crossbreed plant, Violet.
2007: Cypher fakes his death as Mao Fanchu in order to lure Wing to Tokyo, and the Contessa betrays Nero. Nero keeps Cypher alive, unbeknownst to Number One, and starts to have suspicions about Number One/Overlord for the first time. By the end of August, everyone is fourteen, and first year is over.
2008: H.O.P.E. is formed, and Nero is captured in either April or May whilst meeting with Gregori Leonov. Three months later, he is rescued by Otto, Raven, and the gang. The Contessa and Number One/Overlord die. Laura and Otto kiss, but nothing comes of it. Diabolus resurfaces from the dead to be elected head of G.L.O.V.E.'s ruling council. At some point in late August to early September, Otto, Wing, Shelby and Laura first encounter the animus fluid on a train to Paris whilst on a mission to recover a stolen thermoptic camouflage suit. As a result of the Contessa's death, Lucy Dexter is transferred to H.I.V.E. at the start of third year, at which point everyone is fifteen. Following the hijacking of Dreadnought, and an encounter with Pietor Furan, the animus fluid, and the Disciples, Otto is captured by American forces after saving Air Force One and the US president. He is then turned over to H.O.P.E.
2009: Assassinations of key members of G.L.O.V.E.'s ruling council take place at the hands of Otto, now under the influence of animus. Raven is given executive privilege to kill him if necessary. Otto confesses his love to Laura. Following a confrontation in the Amazon jungle, Cypher, Ghost, and Trent all die. H.O.P.E. is destroyed. Otto feigns memory loss of everything that occurred under animus. By the end of the year, everyone is sixteen.
2010: Laura's brother, Douglas, is born. Otto has continual and repeated nightmares and is the subject of rumours. Overlord takes control of the Advanced Weapons' Testing Facility in Colorado. The Zero Hour protocol is activated. Wing and Shelby get together. Chief Lewis and Lucy Dexter die. Pietor Furan is killed by Raven. Nero becomes head of G.L.O.V.E. Duncan Cavendish is forced to resign. The Architect is contacted by Anastasia Furan through a proxy, and construction of the new Glasshouse is completed. Following the appointment of Security Chief Dekker, Laura is blackmailed into betraying the location of the Hunt after Tom and Penny's recruitment to H.I.V.E. Joseph Wright and several former members of the ruling council are offered the help of Disciples'. All of the Alpha stream save Shelby, Otto, Franz, and Wing are taken captive. Otto is expelled, and joined Raven on the hunt for the location of the new Glasshouse. By the end of the year, everyone is seventeen.
2011: Raven and Otto take down several Disciples, most notably visiting Dubai, London, and Paris. In Venice, they are pursued by the CIA after tracking down the Architect with the help of Diabolus Darkdoom. Tom dies. The new Glasshouse is stormed and destroyed, again. Laura is given the choice as to whether she wants to stay at H.I.V.E. or not, and decides to stay. Anastasia Furan is taken hostage in Nero's basement storage facility. The Disciples' countdown for the new batch of hostages starts at 99 days. By the end of the school year, everyone is eighteen.
2012: The majority of Otto and the gang's final year goes smoothly. Franz starts working out and loses weight, becoming conventionally attractive. A few days shy of graduation, the clone known as Anna becomes loose. Otto reconvenes with the CIA and is allowed access to the last remaining batch of the animus fluid. Francesca Sinistre dies. It is revealed to Nero by Anastasia that he is Raven's father. Raven kills Anastasia. Otto stays behind to destroy H.I.V.E. and dies. His consciousness is transferred to a cloning vat by H.I.V.E.mind. Everyone is nineteen.
2013: Construction on the new H.I.V.E. facility is already underway. Raven finds out her birthday. Shelby and Wing set up an orphanage, implied to be in Africa, for war orphans in Otto's honour. Franz is an instructor at the temporary facility. Laura gets in to MIT and Oxford. In early September, Otto shows up on her doorstep.

Marvel’s Loki Episode 5 Ending Explained: Who is the Real Villain of the MCU Series?
https://ift.tt/36oBhxO
This article contains spoilers for Loki episode 5.
Agent Mobius did say that time ran differently in the TVA but who could have imagined that the penultimate episode of Loki would arrive so quickly? Marvel’s Loki episode 5 “Journey Into Mystery” keeps up a streak of superb installments for this increasingly superb show.
In this hour, Mobius joins the side of the heroes, Judge Renslayer has some questions, and Loki and Sylvie’s relationship continues to blossom thanks to the conjuring of an uncomfortable green blanket. Equally as important, however, is that “Journey Into Mystery” raises some big questions about the ending of this show and the future of the MCU. Questions like…
What is The Void?
This episode does a pretty good job of succinctly describing what the Void is. The Void is the end of time, itself. Since the Time-Keepers are unable to completely destroy matter (Theory of Conservation of Mass and all that), they send unwanted Variants to the end of the timeline to languish or be swallowed by a hungry monster (more on him in a bit).
In Marvel Comics, The Void is something of an actual character. It is a destructive amorphous entity capable of both adopting a corporeal form and destroying the universe as we know it. During the Siege storyline, the Void even killed Loki, which then facilitated his “rebirth” as Kid Loki. See how this all starts to fit together?
What is Alioth?
In the world of Loki, Alioth is a big, hungry cloud monster that prowls the Void looking to consume yummy matter. It’s the TVA’s unwitting cleaning service, wiping out all the Variants that the TVA can’t eliminate. Classic Loki helpfully offers up the analogy that the Void is a shark tank, and Alioth is the shark.
Alioth of the comics was first introduced in 1993’s Avengers: The Terminatrix Objective #1. That same comic also introduced Ravonna Renslayer and features Kang the Conqueror as its central villain. Oh yeah, it’s all coming together.
Alioth is considered to be the first being that broke free from the constraints of time. It’s no wonder then that it would make an appearance in Loki.
What’s Up With That Castle?
It’s about time a Marvel villain lives in an honest-to-goodness castle! While it’s still possible that this is a misdirect and this environment is not what it seems, for now it looks like episode 6 will be headed off to a spooky castle.
Interestingly, there are no shortages of spooky castles in Marvel comics lore. Perhaps the most famous one is Castle Doom within Doomstadt. Bet you’ll never guess who lives there! Yes, it’s ol’ Victor von Doom himself, Doctor Doom to his friends…of which he has very few.
Another notable abode is Castle Limbo, which serves as the home of Immortus, who was once Nathaniel Richards a.k.a. Kang the Conqueror. Look, Kang is a confusing character, so you’ll just have to trust us on this one.
What is Mobius’s Plan?
Thank the gods that Loki and Mobius finally embraced their destiny as best bros. Mobius leaves all the Lokis behind in The Void to return to the TVA. What does he plan to do once he gets there? Why, burn the whole thing down, of course!
It’s unclear how Mobius believes he’s able to pull off such a grand task. The TVA is an enormous bureaucracy with seemingly infinite moving parts. The only real weapon that Mobius has at his disposal is the truth. The truth changed his and Hunter B-15’s perspectives but can it do the same for everyone else? The only other named TVA employee that we’re aware of is Casey (Eugene Cordero). He seems like a sweet, non-confrontational lad. But perhaps that will all change once he realizes he’s been robbed of fish dinners his whole life.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
What Becomes of the Other Lokis?
The most pleasantly strange aspect of “Journey Into Mystery” is how many new Lokis it introduces. This hour features: Classic Loki (Richard E. Grant), Boastful Loki (DeObia Oparei), Kid Loki (Jack Veal), President Loki (Hiddleston), and Alligator Loki (uh… a CGI alligator). Naturally, each of those Lokis has their own official hashtag sprite on Twitter.
Fittingly for their chaotic energy, each of the Lokis introduced in this episode have quite different ultimate fates. Boastful Loki betrays his Loki comrades, because that’s just what Lokis do. The subsequent scene of President Loki and his Void army battling the other Lokis is one of the best moments of this show yet. That causes our Loki to take off with Classic, Kid, and Alligator. When Mobius invites that trio to come back to the TVA with him, they decline because the Void is their home now.

Sylvie is the Secret Heart of Marvel’s Loki

Games
How Loki and Fallout Use Retrofuturism to Unnerve Us
By Matthew Byrd
That is the last we’ve seen of Kid Loki and Alligator Loki thus far but not the last of Classic Loki. The comic-accurate trickster returns to help Loki and Sylvie when they need it the most. He uses stunningly powerful magic to create an approximation of Asgard all around him, distracting the ravenous Alioth. Even Sylvie with her enchantress power is stunned by Classic Loki’s abilities.
Is Richard E. Grant’s Classic Loki Really Dead?
Ultimately Classic Loki is swallowed up by the Alioth and therefore finally blinked out of existence. Or is he? It seems like he could have been utilizing the very same technique here he claims to have used to escape his death at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. “I think we’re stronger than we realize,” Loki tells Sylvie, so this would certainly be a case of that if it came down to it.
Plus, that leads us to the final and most important question that this episode raises.
Who is the Villain?
Who indeed? There has been one name bandied about as the most likely Loki Big Bad. Before we get to him (and it’s absolutely who you think), indulge us in another theory. What if the villain of Loki is…
Classic Loki or Another Loki Variant
Richard E. Grant is kind of a big deal as an actor. It’s not every day you can find a seasoned performer who can portray a kindly exterior with some menace underneath. With that in mind, it’s possible that Classic Loki is a bigger character than he appears at first glance. This episode goes out of its way to communicate just how powerful Lokis can be. And when you combine that kind of god-like power with a trickster’s sensibility, it’s not hard to imagine that Classic Loki, or another Loki entirely, could be pulling all the strings.
Kang the Conqueror
While Loki confronting himself in the end would make for a dramatically interesting enterprise, the hard evidence at hand still seems to indicate that Kang the Conqueror is our real villain. The internet at large has been banging the drum for Kang the Conqueror as the ultimate Loki villain for weeks now and it’s not hard to see why.
This isn’t a case of collective delusion like with all of the Nightmare/Mephisto WandaVision theorizing, Kang really does seem to be a legitimate possibility. For starters, we know we already have an MCU actor for Kang in the fold already in the form of Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country). Kang was announced for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania but doesn’t it sound very Marvel for the character to make his unexpected debut here?
In the comics, Kang the Conqueror is wrapped up in multiverses, timelines, and all manner of heady sci-fi nonsense that Loki is already invested in. In fact, as Reddit user u/Hpotter821 points out, one iteration of Kang in Marvel comics sought to become Immortus by eliminating all of his other Variants. It would seem that creating the TVA to police other timelines would be quite useful in that mission.
Then there’s the fact that Kang has at least some level of crossover with just about every major character and element of Loki. Kang has a relationship with Ravonna Renslayer in the comics and is also an occasional rival of Alioth. The show is not shy about injecting Kang’s aesthetic into the proceedings. While ostensibly space lizards as Loki described them, the Time-Keepers do appear to resemble the classic Kang the Conqueror look a bit. And the TVA logo?
Oh. Hey. I just noticed that the centerpiece of the Time Variance Authority’s seal totally looks like Kang’s head. 🤷♂️ #Loki pic.twitter.com/93QzNDVSbi
— Ken Plume (@KenPlume) July 2, 2021
Oh yeah, that’s Kang, baby.
Perhaps by this time next week, all of this Kang conjecture will look as silly as WandaVision’s Mephisto fever dream. It’s undeniable, however, that Loki has provided us with plenty of breadcrumbs. If it’s all a Kang-sized red herring, then so be it.
Doctor Doom
This is a considerable longshot, despite the fact that we’ve wanted it to happen for a long time. Doom was at the center of Marvel Comics’ multiverse-shattering Secret Wars event by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic, and the castle we see in this episode’s conclusion sure does look an awful lot like his humble Doomstadt home.
Every time we get excited about Doctor Doom or the potential Secret Wars threads embedded in this show, we’re brought back to reality by the fact that there’s virtually no way that Marvel would introduce arguably their greatest villain in a teasing series finale episode, especially not when they’ve got the Kang-centric Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania to tee up with Kang. Yes, we’re hedging our best by including him, but can you blame us?
Anyway, patience, Doom fans. The Fantastic Four movie is finally a priority for the MCU, and we should see that by 2023.
Kevin Feige
This obviously won’t happen but in the spirit of Marvel’s next Disney+ series What If…?, what if Loki and Sylvie arrive to the throne room in the castle and Marvel Studios head Kevin Heige is hanging out there wearing one of his trademark baseball caps? As witnessed in WandaVision and now Loki, this phase of Marvel cinematic storytelling is clearly about setting up a new multiverse of possibilities. What better way to introduce that multiverse than by completely breaking the fourth wall?
OK, so there are probably a ton of better ways but Feige would at least be fun and truly unexpected.

hey, would you mind sharing what kind of spoilers for the new season are already out there (other than clarke/gaia apparently) that the previous anon mentionend? or do you have a link where i can look them up myself? i personally do not plan on watching, but for some dumb reason i still get really upset when i hear about stuff that is happening on this show, so i'd like to prepare myself.
This is basically what I got but please don't @ me if I get some of it wrong. I don't have the screenshots right now. And don't get all pissy with me about spoilers. If you don't want to see them, then don't look here. Episode 7x02 to 7x04 below the cut.
7x02:
Clarke and Bellamy are not in this episode.
We see flashbacks of Octavia and what happened to her in the anomaly. That scene under water, is Octavia swimming up to the surface and arriving at a new planet. Diyoza is already there and is in labor. When Octavia arrived, Diyoza had already been there for 3 months. Octavia helps her give birth to Hope and it's a call back to Bellamy helping Aurora give birth to Octavia.
Octavia, Diyoza and Hope spend 10 years on this planet called Sky Ring (because of a wormhole close by, time moves faster there than it does on Sanctum) Octavia is at that point older than Bellamy was when she went into the anomaly. Octavia tries to get back to Bellamy for 6 years but after disagreements with Diyoza (we see in the trailer) she sort of gives up after a while. Octavia writes Bellamy a letter, telling him that she now understands everything he did for her (as she has helped raise Hope), how she wishes that he is happy etc. Octavia tells Hope about her people, the same way Clarke did with Madi. Octavia promises Hope that she will bring "Clarke, Madi and Bellamy" to Hope (when Octavia tries to leave one of those times) and Hope asks "and Murphy?" And Octavia says "and Murphy".
This planet is also some sort of prison planet that is controlled by the people that control the anomaly. So at some point something happens that separates Octavia, Hope and Diyoza. Hope grows up on Sky Ring but we do not know what happened to Diyoza and Octavia after the second time she disappears in the anomaly. Most likely captured. Hope saw Octavia in 7x01 and that was a memory from their 10 years together that Hope can't remember.
Hope, Echo and Gabriel arrive at the same planet in "current" time. They spend a long time on the Sky Ring. Echo is desperate to save Bellamy but they can't get out. Turns out, there are two prisoners on the planet at different times and they start to make plans to escape and find Bellamy. They find out Bellamy was taken by some people called "the disciples" lead by a man named Anders. Echo also finds the letter Octavia left for Bellamy but Hope rips it away from her because she doesn't want Echo to touch Octavia's things.
Basically the episode is Octavia flashbacks and Hope, Echo and Gabriel arriving and trying to find out where they are.
7x03:
Bellamy is still missing.
Sanctum stuff. Clarke and Gaia under the tree as we see in the trailer, Clarke holding Abby's ring. Clarke says she has nothing left from her parents. Gaia says that's not true, you are here. Clarke then buries the ring and Gaia buries the flame. Gaia says "your fight is over" and Clarke says "may we meet again". Indra joins them, they have to deal with Sanctum.
Most of Clarke's one on one scenes are with Gaia in 7x03 and 7x04.
Murphy and Emori are staying in the palace. At some point Raven walks in on them and Murphy jokes about that happening for 6 years now, since they were on the Ring together. Murphy and Emori need to keep pretending to be Primes. Raven needs Emori's help with the reactors on Sanctum because there has been some problems and if they explode everyone will die. (We see that man, James die in the trailer). Basically they all need to fix it.
Tension in Sanctum between all these different groups. Wonkru are angry and want Madi to lead them, not only getting information from Gaia or Indra. Indra goes to get Madi, Clarke and Gaia stop her. Gaia tells Wonkru she destroyed the Flame. Wonkru are now angry and basically go back to their original "krus".
Raven is fed up with Wonkru and turns to Eligius to help with the problem (Eligius are trying to take over Sanctum). Then Raven, Emori and Murphy work on the reactor thing, Emori has to get in and fix shit, she has little time to do that. Murphy and Raven are stressed and when things go bad Raven yells at her to "get out of there" (trailer). Emori and Murphy get radiation sickness. Raven does not. Because of the radiation, Eligius are not safe and some of them die. Raven finds herself in Clarke's shoes so to speak, people dying in her "care". Murphy says something about welcoming Raven to "the grey world". One who dies is Hatch, his wife Nikki is not happy and attacks Raven. Raven thinks she deserves it for causing their deaths.
Clarke is still dealing with Russell, to kill him or not. She and Gaia sit on the porch, talking (trailer). Finally after their talk, Clarke decides not to kill Russell because things will get worse if she kills him.
7x04:
We see young Hope living alone after Octavia and Diyoza disappeared. She has learned to take care of herself. The anomaly comes back and she runs towards it. People come out of the anomaly. They are prisoners sent to Sky Ring to atone for their sins. Hope fights back but then later becomes friends with one prisoner. Hope learns how to fight from him so she can fight back the next time the anomaly comes back. At the time, Hope is 10 years old. Hope grows up and the anomaly comes back. The prisoner, her friend helps her so she can get into the anomaly but by doing so, he dies for her.
Back to Echo, Hope and Gabriel in their time on Sky Ring. The prisoners have some sort of chip/memory thing in them. It goes back to Becca and pre-end of the world stuff. If you access the memory chip thingy, you get information from people. Even if they die and have that thing in them, you can still get information. That's how the anomaly people find out stuff about people.
Back on Sanctum. One of the people Echo killed in 7x01 is found in the woods and brought to Clarke. Jordan then tells Clarke there are people (the disciples) on Sanctum and have asked for Clarke. Clarke goes to meet with them (trailer) but first she wants someone to take a look at the suit they have found. So Clarke goes to Raven. Clarke and Raven have a moment because Raven is upset and feels responsible for Eligius members dying. Clarke helps her process her choices and what that does to them to have to make tough calls.
Clarke goes to meet the people who called for her. It's Anders. Anders says that they are the disciples and need Clarke's help. Anders' - and the disciples' leader believe Clarke is "the key to win the last great war the human race will ever fight. You should know time moves much faster where your friends are, every second counts"
Clarke goes back to Raven who is working on the suit and finds out the anomaly is a wormhole. Raven asks "Bellamy, Octavia and Echo, where are they?"
Back to Echo, Hope and Gabriel. Still stuck on Sky Ring. It's been years. We find out Octavia told Hope greek myths (flashback), like Bellamy did to Octavia when she was a child. Echo is trying to trick the prisoner Orlando so they can get out of there and use the anomaly to get to Bellamy. They find out information about the face tattoos and what it means. Apparently it depends on what level you are as a disciples. Then there's something about the prisoners coming to Sky Ring having some sort of faith or religion. Gabriel talks to Orlando when he sees him praying. They talk about truth, belief faith etc. After a while Orlando and Gabriel, Echo and Hope make a deal to help one another out so they can go through the anomaly when it comes. But only if Echo, Hope and Gabriel promise not to kill the Orlando's family (the disciples) when they come through the anomaly.
Echo has now spent 5 years with these people and she promises that she won't hurt Orlando's people when they arrive. During this time, Echo and Hope have cut their hair, trained to fight and Orlando marks Echo and Hope on their faces with the anomaly signs so they can blend in and get through and around the anomaly. Echo is seen as a loyal person, even to the people she's spent 5 years with on Sky Ring. Then Orlando's "prison time" is up and his people come through the anomaly. Echo has tied Orlando, waiting for what will happen when the people come through. Echo had promised that she would let them live if they got help to get through the anomaly. Echo being Echo kills them all and Hope and Gabriel are shocked. (call back to when Finn killed those grounders in s2). Orlando who has helped them all these years and believed Echo, is horrified and cries when he sees what she has done (man gagged and crying in the trailer). Echo walks up to Orlando, tied and gagged, Hope and Gabriel yell at Echo not to kill him. Echo leaves Orlando with a knife to basically fend for himself. Maybe because she spent 5 years with him 🤷🏻♀️. Echo tells Hope and Gabriel that Orlando can't be trusted not to ruin their plan when they get to Bardo because they (Echo, Hope and Gabriel) are not Orlando's people. Hope and Gabriel don't argue and they don't help Orlando. Hope, Echo, Gabriel then leave in the anomaly that has arrived and their goal is Bardo, to get to Bellamy and it is also where Octavia and Diyoza might be. It has now been 5 years since Echo last saw Bellamy. We do not know how time moves for Bellamy.
Clarke and Raven find out there's information about Clarke in the suit they found. The disciples somehow know Clarke is called "Wanheda" because it says so on the suit/helmet. Clarke goes back to Anders and asks to see her friends. Anders tells Clarke they are no longer on "Penance" the real name for Sky Ring and that the prisoner there (Orlando) was betrayed so he killed himself. Clarke, believing Bellamy is there, says that she doesn't believe her friends would betray anyone. Anders does not tell Clarke that Bellamy was not there. Anders says he has proof. Orlando left a note. Clarke says she won't say anything until she gets proof that her friends are alive. Anders says they don't have to give Clarke proof, they already have a machine that taps into people's memories so they already know things about Clarke's friends and Clarke. Who are they getting all these memories from? Octavia? Bellamy? Diyoza? We don't know.
Clarke tells Anders she won't go with him and that she has friends with her. Anders says he also has friends with him, invisible like in 7x01, they appear. Apparently they can go into "ghost mode" like putting an Iphone on silence, lol. Then Jordan comes up, Clarke gets angry that he is there but turns out he is a distraction. Ander's friends are shot. Then Raven appears with her suit in ghost mode. Raven is yet again forced to kill people. She is upset. But they go to the anomaly stone (trailer). They don't know where it goes, what happens there etc. When they start to walk into the anomaly stone, Gaia tells Clarke she will stay behind with Madi. Raven, Clarke, Niylah, Miller and Jordan go (jump team). Gaia climbs up from the anomaly stone cave but is attacked by a disciples person in ghost mode. When Gaia wakes up, the disciple person is taking the anomaly stone offline (whatever that means) and she tries to fight them again but she is pulled through the anonaly and disappears. The anomaly stone collapses.
The jump team arrive at a snowy and windy planet. There is nothing there. They don't know how to survive or how fast time moves there. And they have no idea how to find another anomaly stone so they are stuck there. Episode ends.

And just like that we’re at the end of yet another month. I seriously do not know where these months are going. I think they’re going by faster now since we’ve been socially distant. I hope everyone is staying safe out there and can enjoy the start of summer while also being smart. It’s good to know we can always escape into TV and movies at home. Without further ado, here’s my monthly wrap up.
You know spoilers are coming....

DC’s STARGIRL
I gave some quick thoughts a few weeks back when the first episode of the latest DC TV show premiered on the CW. I really liked this episode and it got me pumped for the series, but since then I feel most of the episodes have dragged for me. Because this show has the DC streaming service feel, it makes you want to binge all the episodes, which is something you can’t do when CW airs it on a weekly basis. Most of the action occurs at the beginning or end of the episode, which serves as a great cliffhanger, which works well in this streaming format. Due to this format, the middle can drag...a lot. Going in I didn’t know much about Stargirl or the JSA. (My main knowledge comes from that special the Justice Society had in that one Smallville special all those years ago. There it was a bit of an overload of heroes, unlike here.) I love Pat and Courtney’s relationship. Every episode they bond more and I especially liked when she was complaining to him about how the other teammates don’t listen to her. He understood that really well. I am also just loving Luke Wilson as Pat. I think he works well for the role. Feels believable. I’m ALWAYS a fan of a new generation of heroes. While it was slower getting the team together, now that we have the core group I am especially excited. The latest episode (6) was one of the strongest for me and I am very excited to see this up and coming team train and get stronger. I’m also interested in learning more about the villains. I think it’s interesting how we are also meeting a lot of the villain’s kids who seem to not know their parents’ true identities. I wonder if we’ll be able to turn any of them. (Feeling it for Icicle Jr.) For our team, I’m really loving how it’s three girls and one boy. I think that’s a dynamic we don’t often see, especially in a group of superheroes. I’m still working out who to ship, but I’m really loving Rick. Can’t wait to continue watching. I hope we get more of these epic stance moments.

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
Let’s continue on this superhero thread with another one of my favorites, which wrapped up its 5th season (crazy it’s already the 5th!) at the start of the month. I’ve said this before and I will continue to do so, Legends is THE BEST SHOW IN THE ARROWVERSE. It has been the most consistent and that’s not only because of a strong cast, the freedom to do basically anything they want with the plot and also being a mid-season show. I think where the Flash and Arrow often get tripped up is having too many episodes to fill, which forces story lines to be dragged out and filler episodes. With a 13 episode season you don’t get that. WARNING I’m going to jump into season 5 spoilers now!!
So, some of my overall thoughts for this season:
The Wave-rider has always been a revolving door for characters. This show probably has the most turn-over than any other show I watch. And it works, but for this season especially it felt like a lot of coming and going as I look back.
It was sad to see Ray leave. Not only is he one of my favorites, but he was one of the core crew that was left. He brought great humor and heart to the show. I loved his bromance with Nate over the seasons. I wish he could have come back for the finale. While I like that he left with Nora (because they are adorable) it just felt too fast (and that was with me knowing how many episodes he had left).
Charlie’s exit. I know she had a large part of the plot with her sisters, especially in the second half of the season, which means she’ll be missed even more next season. When she said she was staying in the finale I was like WHAT! It just felt so sudden and I didn’t see it coming.
The lack of Sara on the ship this season made me feel like she had other projects in the works. When she became blind I was like op this is it for her character. Now of course, I see how that worked into the overall story line, but with her abduction at the end of the season (meaning another absence) I’m curious if she is working on other things. I do love seeing Ava at the helm though. She makes a great captain. I just wish the two could be co-captains on the screen more often in future seasons to come. It hurt me too much to see Ava’s reaction to when she knew she was going to lose Sara.
At first I REALLY missed the original Zari. She’s the one we knew for a few seasons and now she was gone. That’s the main reason why I had difficulty liking Behrad right away. I do appreciate that they didn’t drag out the plot of discovering something in the timeline had changed. I liked how Nate had some memory and got that message from Zari. When Zari 2.0 showed up I missed our original Zari even more, but the more episodes she was a part of, she grew on me and I suddenly was worried to lose her. I was completely fine with having both Zaris on the Waverider (ha, ha, ha, but seriously). I think Tala did a great job of bringing two different incarnations to the character and seeing how Zari would have grown up if she didn’t have such a tragic backstory.
I can seriously go on and on about this season, but I think it’s best to leave for another post.

THE 100
If you follow me or have read other posts on my page you know I’m a 100 fan. If I’ve had strong feelings about an episode (positive or negative) you will probably see a reaction post. I haven’t watched this past week’s episode yet, so this will mainly relate to the first five episodes of season 7. I’m having a love/hate relationship so far, which honestly I’m not shocked about. The first few seasons of this show were definitely the strongest, but I’ve remained a loyal fan and supported it throughout. When the first episode of season 7 aired a few weeks ago, I instantly felt it wasn’t going to be a strong ending. I kept saying that the true ending happened when our characters went on the ship to look for a new planet and “ended book 1.” Since then the feel of the show has shifted and that’s especially true with this final season. It’s always been a sci-fi show, but now with the anomaly and this jumping multiple portals and planets it feels VERY SCI-FI. Like at times I don’t 100% understand how what they’re doing is possible. But I’m okay with that. I’ve watched Doctor Who and felt the same way and still had a good time. Going into this season, I thought the anomaly plot was going to be the one I disliked the most. But for me now it’s what’s saving this season. I am loving that story line over the one we’re having at Sanctum (where they are FAR too many new characters that I don’t care about). I absolutely LOVED the Octavia/Dioyza/Hope backstory episode. There were so many great parallels to Octavia’s own childhood and I was able to appreciate how much her character has developed. After seeing this episode, I instantly grew to really like ‘adult’ Hope as well as her dynamic with Gabriel and Hope. (It hurt me so much when Echo killed the man who was helping them get back.) I can’t wait for Hope to find her mom. (I saw pictures of the three of them together again, so I know it’s going to happen.) Speaking of not liking new characters, I DO like Levitt so far. That could be mainly for the fact that he’s also a fan of watching the 100. I was NOT expecting to see Bellamy at the end of episode 5. It brought me so much joy. I hope we don’t have to wait so long for the next time. (Because, come on-we know he’s not really dead.) I am upset that Bob is barely in this season. It’s not fair to him or the character. Even thought the Sanctum plot is bothering me I am loving the scenes Murphy is in. Talk about character development. He better make it out of all this at the end. I also enjoyed Raven’s story line with the radiation. I agree with a few people’s posts I saw about her not having a large plot last season and not being the Raven we know. I’m happy to see her being one of the main characters again. We might not get the ending we deserve, but I hope it’s one that isn’t horrible.

MARVEL RE-WATCH
What’s one way to spend your quarantine/social distancing? Why ranking all 22 movies in the MCU and then re-watching all of them (one a day) and re-ranking them with your new thoughts. With seasons ending early and less being on TV now was a fantastic time to do this. (Plus, I knew a few other people doing it so I felt inspired.) For some of these films, I think I had only seen them a few times and it was hard to remember what happened in certain ones over others. (I kept thinking stuff that happened in Captain America Civil War was actually in Captain America Winter Soldier.) I really enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it, whether you’ve watched these movies a countless amount of times or only once. Watching them in order of their release really made me appreciate all the Easter Eggs and planning that went into it. I longed for some movies and was not excited for others (I’m looking at you Guardians Vol. 2). It also made me feel a deeper connection to Iron Man (which made the ending even tougher-and I knew what was coming). The nostalgia was strong and I’m so happy to be a part of this fandom.
Sneak peak at my re-ranking that is still in the process:
Top 3)
Avengers Infinity Wars
Avengers Endgame
Spiderman Far From Home
Bottom)
Guardians Vol. 2
Thor the Dark World
Iron Man 2

AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER
Avatar was released on Netflix this month and something in me said now was the time to watch it. (That’s right, I haven’t watched it before). The hype for this series is crazy! I remember it being on Nickelodeon as a kid, but I had never watched it. I didn’t know much about it other than the main character had an arrow on his head and was the last airbender. (Yep, so not a lot.) Currently, I’m still very early in-I think about episode 9-but I already feel very invested. I like that the episodes are only about 25 minutes long. They’re quick watches, which allows me to watch a bunch without feeling guilty. After watching the first two I already felt like I wanted to learn more about this world and its characters. I think it’s really interesting how the elemental bending is used and how some characters can do it while others can’t. I also like how the avatar gets rotated within each bender and how the one before Aang was a fire bender seeing as how that is our main opponent in this first season. Coming into the show I was told by a friend that this is some of the strongest character development he has seen. That was such high praise and I cannot wait to witness it for myself. One of the reasons I love watching TV/movies and reading is because of the characters. I love bonding with them and feeling like I know them. I can already hypothesize who will change the most (my mind automatically goes to Prince Zuko), but I’ve been really good about spoilers, so that way I can witness it myself. Because I’m still so early on I can’t say much, expect that I’m enjoying it and will keep you posted on how my journey with Aang, Katara, Sokka and Zuko go.

VIOLETTA SEASON 2
I was ECSTATIC when I found out that season 2 of Violetta had FINALLY come to Disney Plus. It had felt like FOREVER since I had finished the first season (of 80 episodes. You know a show is good if after 80 episodes you’re like where is the next season of 80 more episodes!), but it was really only a few months. It feels great to be back at the Studio with Violetta and the crew. There’s a few new faces this season both with the students and the faculty. It always takes adjusting with new seasons/characters, but some of these characters I really don’t like. I know that’s good because you’re not necessarily supposed to like them, but I really want some of them gone. (I’m looking at you Jackie.) But with a show that has so many episodes, a lot of the story lines often get dragged out, so I don’t know when that will be. Again, Violetta has found herself in a love triangle (just like every other teenage girl, lol). This time Diego opposes Leon and is much different than Tomas in season 1. Where Tomas was passive and always wore a face of uncertainty/confusion, Diego is bold and won’t take no for an answer. At times I feel he borders stalker territory.
So far, I’m up to episode 20 and am getting more into it. I was missing out on the performances/ songs and now there’s starting to be more, which has me excited. I’m hoping not to watch this one as fast because I know most people say it is the best one, plus who knows when season 3 would appear on Disney Plus. For anyone unfamiliar with my first post about Violetta earlier in the year should check it out if they’re looking for a telenovela full of drama, misunderstandings love triangles, angst and music that will get stuck in your head. Definitely worth the watch!
WORLD OF DANCE
My favorite dance competition TV show is back and I could not be more excited!! There’s just something about World of Dance that puts me in such a good mood and I can’t wait for Tuesday nights. I’m just upset at myself that I watch the latest episode too soon and then have to wait another week. This season the judges switched it up by coming to the contestants last audition with the producers...or so they thought. I loved seeing their reactions when they walked into the room and Ne-Yo, Jennifer Lopez and Derek Hough were there. It was priceless. While I don’t have a dancing bone in my body, I still am able to appreciate this talent and love watching the contestants perform. What I really like about this show is the range of ages and types of dancers from soloists, duos, trios and groups. I like how each competes within their group until the final episode when they have won their category. The talent is already so strong as they finished the call backs (which was a new feature this season too). Some of my favorites are below. I can’t wait to see what happens for the rest of the season. I just hope the pandemic didn’t interrupt the filming. You can catch up on all episodes by watching NBC on demand!

BEECHAM HOUSE
Ending strong with yet another Masterpiece Classic, Beecham House. This series, which aired earlier in the UK, premiered about two weeks ago here in the states on PBS. While I’ve heard that there will not be a second season and the outrage of that makes me worried for how this season will end. (After watching Sanditon earlier this year you really don’t know what to expect.) Despite knowing this already, I will continue to watch the show and enjoy what we have. Which I am so far. While only the first two episodes have aired, I already feel very invested. The first episode, specifically, leaves a lot of questions unanswered, which is understandable because they want to draw you in to watch the show. I was making a lot of speculations, but refrained from going into too much spoiler territory. (Surprisingly, I’ve been good! That’s impressive for me!) Some of my questions have already been answered in the second episode (but of course, there are more to go) and I was happy how I guessed. There’s so many characters and it feels like we’re gaining more with each episode. Despite, there being so many, I am able to keep up and like seeing new characters interact with one another. I also enjoy seeing a lot of familiar faces from Mrs. Patmore (Lesley Nicol) in a very different kind of role compared to Downton and Leo Suter who has been in a lot of my recent Masterpiece watches (Victoria, Sanditon). I love how he plays such a different character in each project he’s in. Really shows his range. With four more episodes to go I can’t wait to continue learning more about what’s going on in Beecham House and what their futures will be. I don’t know if the US numbers will help a chance for a second season, but I hope so!
Speaking of my previous Masterpiece watches: I really enjoyed World on Fire overall. It ended with some big cliffhangers and I am very excited it got a second season!!
What are you watching? Any requests of what I should tune into next?
