I remember reading somewhere that someone on the Owl House crew confirmed that Belos brought Hunter out of the dirt at toddler age so he could most effectively manipulate Hunter, since all the older grimwalkers turned on him. Does anyone else remember reading or hearing this somewhere, or did my brain just make it up? 🤔

I’m really not sure why this took me a week but here’s a little tutorial on how I design clothes for characters ??? I hope it’s somewhat comprehensive, making tutorials can be hard for me because I have so much to say LOL

While I used a preexisting show in this example, this method can really be applied to any oc universe or story as long as you establish the basics :]

Raine has moved into the owl house, whether or not they married Eda is up to fans' interpretation (Though Dana did mention marriage shouldn't be required to define love). In any case, they are in a loving relationship

the blight kids live w Alador and only rarely visit Odalia, and don't put up with any of her shit

King's tower was built and hidden by someone with amnesia..... BAT QUEEN?

Hooty probably spends most of his time away from the owl house as port-a-hooty, with Lilith, working as a curator at the museum

stringbean has been visible in the show logo since the very first episode (!), visible in the S and the L when it's flipped upside down

The collector does visit the isles often and is in frequent contact with king (but there was no confirmation if they've found or interacted with the archivists)

no comments were made as to whether Vee and Masha are still dating, but Vee did definitely have a crush on them

Luz finished high school on the isles, spending weekends and holidays in the demon realm

Flapjack was a gift to Caleb from Evelyn, and was probably the turning point in both their relationship and in caleb's acceptance of magic

neither Hunter nor Eda know about Eda's relation to Evelyn and Caleb (but it was hinted Gwendolyn might...)

The shack behind Luz's house where the portal is was originally where Caleb and Phillip lived; it was basically a ruin until Eda fixed it up during her time in the human realm

eda carved Owlbert herself, AFTER she got cursed as a way of reclaiming and accepting the owlbeast

Raine's palisman was hidden as part of their violin (you can see the head in the scroll). It did not die when the violin got smashed, and Dell helped repair the staff

I just know Raine’s palisman has such a nerdy, dumb name. If Raine is naming their first rebellion the BATs, and their second one the CATs, both of which are heavily themed, you bet your ass this silly little fox has the stupidest pun for a name.

I bet they named it Trot. Short for Foxtrot. I’m melting this into my canon and it can be pried out of my cold, dead hands.

The Hypocrisy/Irony of Li Jing

Li Jing is an antagonist who quite literally dresses himself up as the "Hero", and whom is a weird mix of both the Lady bone Demon and Azure Lion.

First of all his colour scheme turquoise, is a colour often related to The Celistial Realm.

Notice how in the monkie kid crews "celistial realm outfits", the only colour they all have in common is turquoise.

Not even The Jade Emperor dressed himself in that much turquoise (he didnt even wear it at all). Which just goes to show how Li Jing views himself.

He even plans to become The new Jade Emperor, and will not have ANYONE stop him. (even if they arent even trying to stop him in the first place-)

Hell, as i talked about in my theory of how he might have impriossoned Nüwa, he and the rest of Celistal Realms biggest flaw is their intense focus on order.

Nezha's intense work habit in season 3 - 4 is big example of this, mixed with how accurate Azure was about the whole celistial realm system.

But honestly Li Jing just takes it to another LEVEL.

I swear, if he starts talking to Nezha about how he has: " Left his job in the Celistial Realm for the monkie kid crew"(aka leaving his "destiny"), we can very well perspectiv it back to THE LADY BONE DEMON, and her intense focus on "ORDER".

But as @lunamikobrony2 mentioned in my theory mentioned earlier:

The villians (aka. LBD and Azure Lion), have this way of wanting a "new and perfect order".

But as we saw with espically Azure Lion: Power corrups.

Azure Lion turned so quickly from: " The Jade Emepror is a fraud" to "Kneel before your emperor", in a matter of MINUTES.

Li Jing is very clearly going to do the same thing. He might even kill things he viwes as "imperfect", if we really want to make it 100% clear, that this man is A LOT like LBD.

And thats just the Hypocrisy.

The thing that honestly first caught my attention was how ironic his characther was set up VS the actual villians of the show.

Because even though both the 9 headed demon, and the 100 eyed demon were both shown in the trailer, LI JING, was the one clearly shown as the most "villianous", or atleast "antagonistic"

He is literally shown WORSE than two DEMONS. And some demons with some quite horrifying designs too i must say.

It honestly reminds me of how Belos, from the owl house, was also set up this way.

If you dont know, The Owl House takes place in quite literally the closest thing we got to Hell.

But is the scariest monster a demon, or a powerful evil witch?

No, the scariest guy is white cishet man from the 1600, dressed in the gold, who also thinks he is quite literally the messias. But in the end he becomes quite literally "The King of Demons."

But, what is my point with this post? What do i want to tell?

Well my entire point with this is to point out how their is such a faint line between good and evil in this show.

And this is just scratching the surface of it. Because if this keeps being proven right in season 5, I will make an entire analysis video about this after the new season is out.

Where I will also be looking at Wukongs journey from an anti-villian to a hero.

The Celistial Realm VS The Mortal Realm VS The Underworld.

Nezha's philosophy vs Li jings philosphy and their entire relationshsip.

And a lot of other stuff, and how this is the reason for why this show is so amazing.

Post-Cannon TOH headcanons

Camila took Luz out of school so she can help rebuild the isles as much as she can. Luz and Vee graduated together in the same class

Camila legally adopted Vee. Eda told Camila to use Marilyn as the birth parent since she has records of being in the human realm

Raine and Eda get married at some point either before or after the time skip

When Eda becomes the headmaster of the wild magic university, Principal Bump regretted all of his choices

Vee and Masha are dating and Vee took Masha to see the Demon Realm

Steve and Lilith are besties

Darious and Alador get together and they adopt Hunter

Amity gave Luz her necklace and Raine gave Eda their earring as some sort of promise item (kinda like how there’s promise rings)

Lilith is Amity’s mother’s figure

How Luz wins her scholarship: she writes a fictional story about her adventures

I was thinking about it for some time and i think I'm going crazy but still, maybe Azura a really their daughter.

That would've explain why those books in two realms.

Spoilers for Watching and Dreaming.

Okay, so we see Hooty coming out of one of the Titan's eye sockets and they says that at least they got to watch their son grow up, but the perspective wasn't from a window. It was watching them up close. What if the Titan used the last bit of their magic to make one last creature. A creature that could protect their kid and watch over them. But unlike the flesh creatures, this creature was alive and could think. He got lost and forgot his purpose. What if the Titan created Hooty as a way to watch over their kid, but Hooty got lost along the way?

We see pyramids and in Egyptian mythology, there was something called the Duat that was sort of like a river between the worlds (sound familiar?). Also in Egyptian mythology, when the first god's kid got lost, Ra took out his eye and it transformed into a bird to look for them.

This could explain why Hooty is so odd, even by Boiling Isle standards.

Curiously, two super-skilled magic users are fighting with glyphs.

Perhaps it's because, as Lilith said "titans magic can cancel out the collectors"

And glyphs are magic of the isles ( the titan). So maybe that's why Willow and Gus are using glyphs and not their regular magic.

Who knows, It can even be used for un-puppet witches.

I've just had a huge revelation!

*Spoilers for the Owl House*

So Hunter has his signature teleport dash, right?

(Key note his uses this ability/spell even before he meets flapjack)

But I just realized, hunter isn't the only one to use an ability like this.

Eda and Lillith use it too! You don't think about it because they lost their magic before meeting the golden guard.

So, I believe this is a spell unique to the Clawthorne/Wittibane family. It kinda makes sense that a more human adapted spell would be so simple. Caleb probably came up with it, which is why Hunter knows how to use it, even if the memory is gone, that potential is still in him.

So that's just another thing linking Hunter to the Clawthornes.

Parallels.

That same look. Disbelief, disgust, betrayal. Both human residents of the boiling isles ultimately couldn't forgive Belos, and with good reason. His efforts to 'save' humanity only resulted in his fellow humans hating him.

His responses to both of them are the same. Deflecting blame, twisting it to be on the witches, still ever evading the consequences of his own actions. He acts like both a victim and a hero, contradicting himself and desperately grasping at any excuse to believe that he's the good guy in this story. "I tried to save your soul, it's your fault this all happened" and "We're human, we're better than this". Masterful manipulation that's now easy for these two to spot. His facade is broken. 👏

Belos is a phenomenal villain and seeing the people he's hurt not say anything to him but instead give him this look is so powerful.

They didn't need to say anything. The glare was enough to make him squirm, panic and frantically scramble to defend himself. He doesn't have power over them anymore, nor can he hide from his actions. He's faced with a look that acknowledges his wrongdoings, forcing him to come face to face with them despite doing all he could to avoid them. Despite destroying the fonder memories of his brother, burning out his face to justify killing him. ('Hollowing' out his mind, if you will.) Despite every instance of him running from his past. All that comes back with this look.

He can't control his fellow humans anymore, he can't convince them and he certainly cant be seen positively or loved by them. In one look, he's lost.
