Warning! Potential Spoilers for Stranger Things Season 5!

Eli (@revolvng_door) on twitter has been posting leaks related to Stranger Things - he claims to get info from his mother’s friend who is on set and is part of the crew watching scenes be filmed. In DMs he’s disclosed unreleased info about the military plot and the children plot to accs tracking spoilers, and thus knowledgeable people are pretty sure he’s accurate.

He privately messaged some byler accounts a few days ago, telling them that he’s been told Will has a love interest - a boy we’ve seen before, who likes him but is not liked romantically by Will yet, and tht it’s not Mike. The confusing thing is that another account on twitter - I won’t disclose the name here - was going around to other people telling them the same information but framing it in a more byler-positivd manner i.e., implying heavily that it is Mike - but it seems that this is incorrect as the news of a new LI for Will has been going around for months, now. Eli then went into a byler twt gc and told everyone, so it spread like crazy:

The confusing thing about this leak is that the description sounds like it should be Mike - but it isn’t? Finn and Noah are together a lot, and I haven’t seen any rumours of previous actors being spotted on set - either of the actors for Troy and James, for one. Nico - danceonth3moon - said it well here:

Worth noting that Ris aka byrhop, a very sensible and rational person who’s a byler but is very neutral on the possibility of it happening, is very pessimistic atm - they’ve been following leaks closely and know quite a bit.

Also might as well note here that Alex is absolutely full of it, and is completely out of the loop atm as a consequence of her own actions:

The only slight crumb of hope for byler is that there is an extended sequence of them at a church due to be filmed over the next month. I was privately told this a while ago and now it’s common knowledge. The church is either in the Upside Down or has been taken over by it - there are religious phrases painted on the property and vines all over it.

Noah Schnapp was very pessimistic about Byler for most of 2023, when he had the first few scripts. “Don’t watch the show just for byler, don’t be mad if it doesn’t happen’, etc. In late 2023 the cast got the scripts for the first six episodes, and in January this year he went on tiktok saying ‘Byler endgame, Byler kiss, you know I ship Byler’ etc - check my Noah Schnapp tag for that clip. This church sequence takes place during episode six - which is when they’d be setting up the endgame for 507 and 508. If there is any hope of byler endgame, I suspect it’ll come through leaks that get out over the next month.

if i'm allowed to be a little bit of a hater in your inbox this morning, i'm still a little baffled by the notion some people have that it's canon that tommy understands buck so well? i think 7x04 revealed some understanding of buck on his part but nothing since then has really further developed them in my eyes, to the point where i believe he gets buck oh so well? idk what am i missing?

Wei ying just keeps going back and falling more in love with the cafe owner and baker. Lan zhan just can't stop giving his new customer custom orders and free treats. They are absolutely adorable- this is pure fluff.

Biting into it Wei Ying then realised just how hungry he was, and within seconds the bun had been devoured. It was the best thing he had ever tasted.   A sleep deprived Wei Ying stumbles into a tea shop, meets an impossibly beautiful man, and is served a cup of tea that changes his life in more ways than he could have possibly expected. A modern day meet cute with heaps of Wangxian fluff, mutual pining, and A-Yuan adorableness galore!

NOTES: I love this fic so much because Lan Zhan is aggressively taking care of Wei Ying; the exhausted hot stranger who walked into his not even open yet tea shop. Wei Ying WILL drink the tea and WILL eat the snacks. Eventually Wei ying WILL come over to his house to have his laundry done and a place to relax and he WILL have the things he needs for his "son". It is absolutely so cute. Wei Ying never stood a chance XD. Also the speed in which lan zhan wants them to get together breaks the sound barrier.

Pairing: Matt x Reader

You watched Matt lift a bottle of Stella to his lips. He repeatedly begged you for Shock Top, but you insisted this was better. Strangely, he didn’t complain about the flavor profile tonight, because tonight was your night with him. He didn’t have to worry about posting anything on social media on nights like this and it relieved him more than anyone could ever begin to fathom.

As Matt set the bottle back on the coaster beside him, you couldn’t help but notice his hand and arm. You always had a thing for his tattoos, same as every other girl in his comments and DMs. However, you got to see the way they moved. You got to take in what they looked like half inside of messy bed sheets. You were lucky enough to experience the mundane and intimate alike.

In the most cliche fashion you were ripped out of your thoughts as Matt abruptly lifted his elbow to his face so he could address the tickle in his throat. Even his coughing could never bother you, no matter how loud it was. You were without a doubt that if and when you were with him long term it would infuriate you, but for now you found it to be something you could put up with.

“I don’t get it…” Matt finally uttered.

“What do you mean?” you asked sitting up to look him in the face.

“That damned smile!” he mocked the brunette on the television.

“We watched this series twice and you still don’t get why she fell for Justin?” you asked.

“The first time we watched it, I wasn’t paying attention to the romance! That’s chick shit.” he said, throwing up his hands in defense.

To be fair he was right, at the time it premiered it was marketed to bring attention to mental health and provoke thought in younger individuals. At the same time when you both watched it for the first time there were multiple sources tearing it apart and even more making fun of it so you two decided to give it a go deciding for yourselves what the final verdict would be. You both landed it deserved every generalized concept it was given.

“I’m just saying she would have been happier with Clay if she gave him a chance from the start of the show.” Matt commented.

“All this from the guy who said he wasn’t watching this for the romance.” you giggled, laying your head back down in his lap.

The credits started flickering across the screen and Matt couldn’t grab the remote fast enough. He didn’t even let the automated timer go off before he was jumping to watch the next episode.

You and Matt called it a night after episode two. There was a bit of debate between why a show would remain so cryptic for so long. Answers could have been given while still drawing people in, but you both decided it was lazy.

It was surprising Matt could draw such astute conclusions. He wasn’t widely known for being well read, just one of 3 brothers with a somewhat influencing career. Truth be told, when Matt wasn’t recording with his brothers or gaming, he was in the books pretty heavily. No genre was off limits for him after he met you. You changed him in the most positive ways; his words, not yours.

You were his favorite everything. He looked at you the same way you looked at him. He was enamored with you. You were his rock after a hard day, you were his passenger princess on dates, and you were his last girlfriend he ever wanted. He would never admit his feelings in that capacity, not now anyway.

Matt pulled the covers over the two of you and gave you a kiss on the forehead before settling in and wrapping his arms around you. A comfortable silence enveloped the two of you between chaste kisses and loving glances. You never knew how watching something on television could wipe from your minds so quickly and fall into your nightly routine. You liked it, there was a pleasant, resounding ambience that you two were made for each other.

she was sitting, legs crossed atop her bed along with kenma, who’s brain was frying over a calculus problem that seemed impossible to solve.

“how the hell do you do this?” he shoved his notebook into her face, forcing her to tear her eyes away from her own notebook.

“how will you survive your third year without me?” she asked as her eyes scanned the problem, immediately recognising how to solve it.

“who said i will survive it without you? you should be expecting visits every day” he muttered as he fell backwards, landing on one of her soft pillows.

the scribbles of x’s, y’s and some other numbers on the blank paper was all that could be heard, along with both their soft breaths.

“y/n,” called out kenma.

“hm?” she said, eyes still focusing on the question kenma has given her earlier.

“i was wondering….why did you react the way you did two days ago,” kenma asked, still sprawled on her pillow, his gaze fixed on the ceiling.“huh?” her pencil stopped mid-stroke, leaving the “x” incomplete.

“i mean—you guys always fight. i think i’ve seen you both fight more than i’ve seen my own parents argue. so why did you just…” his voice trailed off, and he turned his head to face her, his cheek squished against the pillow.

“just what?” she frowned, her fingers gripping the pencil tightly.

“dunno, you just let him say all that, you didn’t like fight back like you always do,” he replied. “like you froze and left, which is not like you, y’know?”

she sighed, dropping her pen into the notebook as she leaned against her headboard. “i don’t know, he just hit a nerve there like—” she wanted to open up more, she had so much to say but she couldn’t shape her thoughts into words.

and kenma didn’t try to push, he just stayed silent. a way of showing her that it’s okay, he won’t judge.

“maybe he was right, i don’t know kenma okay?” her voice faltered as she started fiddling with her hair, trying to do anything to distract herself from breaking down.

kenma sat up, tilting his head to fully face her as he knitted his brows. “what? so you think you have an inferiority complex? that you’re manipulative? that you try too hard?”

“i don’t know—like, maybe i do? it’s not like i want to be this way though you know? you’ve seen my mom and how shitty her life is, like allowing people to walk all over her and despite everything she did for these people she still ended up alone. i don’t want to—i don’t wanna end up like her. i don’t want to feel small or worthless—”

 

“you’re so dumb, y/n.” sighed kenma as he chucked a heart-shaped pillow at her. “this is all not true, and like i said, kuroo is even dumber but he didn’t mean any of what he said. you don’t have an inferiority complex, youre not manipulative, and there is no harm in trying hard.”

her eyes were beginning to water, but she didn’t want to cry so she just stayed silent and held it in, nodding at what kenma just said while playing with a strand of her hair yet again.

“this is so cheesy, but you can cry if you want. im not gonna record it and send it to kuroo or something” kenma added, trying to lighten the mood as he fell into the pillow yet again, spreading his limbs across the bed.

“im not gonna cry,” she muttered, trying to convince herself more than anything. “its just that, im a bit tired of having to prove myself, so whatever he said did hit a nerve,”

“but you don’t have to prove yourself, not to anyone and definetly not to kuroo,”

“yeah well—easier said than done.” she replied in a duh tone. “kuroo is good at everything, he doesn’t even have to try and then i am there doing twice as much work as him just so i can feel like i am keeping up with him” she added, falling back against the bed.

“well, maybe that’s what he sees in you,” he replied.

she frowned as she turned to look at him. “what do you mean? the guy hates my guts,”

“kuroo wouldn’t even bother with teasing you or making stupid comments if he hated you, and he does know that you’re trying hard and he respects that about you. but do you really hate him?”

it was silent for a moment while she really thought about the question. did she really hate him?

“i don’t know okay? and if kuroo actually respects me, then he has some sort of backward logic because that is a stupid way of showing someone that you respect them,” she replied, confusion wrapping a suffocating chain around her heart.

a smirk made its way to kenma’s face. “well, it’s kuroo we’re talking about and having backwards logic is the most kuroo thing ever. but yeah, he really doesn’t hate you he’s just bad at showing he cares,”

“then why did he ‘accidentally’ throw a volleyball at my face last month? i had a bruise on my forehead for ten days. it clearly wasn’t an accident from the way it was thrown.” she sat up, crossing her legs while hugging a small pillow.

“oh that? it’s supposed to be a secret but i am a snitch, lev accidently threw that ball and kuroo took the blame because lev almost shit his pants when he saw you,”

she deadpanned, eyebrows twitching. “lev is gonna get it,”

“but why the hell did no one tell me that?” she added.

“if kuroo took the blame then why would anyone want to tell you? it’s up to him, really.”

“but why did he just—i don’t know it seems stupid and it doesn’t make sense,” she scratched he hair, confusion flooding her body.

“well, how about this? remember these bullies in middle school?” asked kenma.

“yeah?” she replied, her brows furrowing, not knowing where this was going.

it was silent and the warm fuzziness from earlier hadn’t gone away. if anything, it was growing stronger, spreading through her chest and leaving her uncomfortable in ways she didn’t know how to describe.

“just give him a chance,” kenma said, his voice breaking the silence. “he’s not as bad as you think he is.”

she didn’t reply, her thoughts too jumbled to form words. instead, she clung to the pillow in her lap, trying to untangle the mess of feelings swirling inside her.

Some time later, you find him asleep with an arm over his mask, chest heaving with each breath with a familiar bulge in his tight jeans. Your face flushed a light pink, and as you tried to quietly tip toe out of the room you’re stopped in your tracks when you hear the sleepy, panting lull of your name off of Killer’s tongue behind his mask. Did you hear that right? Was Killer dreaming about you? After a moments hesitation and considering your options, you’re closing the door being you and walking over to his bed. “Killer~” You whisper next to his masked face followed by kisses down his neck and shoulder. Valtteri Bottas was part of a Finnish tv show called "Yökylässä" (sleepover) where the host goes to visit Finnish celebrities and spends two days and one night in their home. This episode aired on February 2nd, 2023 and was filmed at some point in 2022.

Below I give context to the screenshots and have also translated some interesting bits:

1st row: Just some cute random VB photos to start with

2nd row: He really loves gin, first two photos are from his main apartment and right photo is from his weekend house. It simply was too many bottles to fit into one shot (no pun)

5th row: They face timed Mika. He (grinningly) says the only advise he can give to Valtteri is "to break later". Just some absolute mint slippers he was wearing when they brushed teeth. That's his boat which is called "Rehab" but "it's almost the opposite (when you go there)". They rent it for others too, a full day is ~5k€

Weight mentions ahaed! He talks a bit about the same stuff he mentioned in his podcast last year; he trained himself sick (around 2014). He was having really unhealthy training and eating habits and hid things from his trainer. He thought at the time that was what he should do. "If your team tells you to weight a certain amount, you'll do it". He then talked to a psychologist who said at first he was behaving like a robot without emotions but after that he started to work on getting healthier habits back

I hope you don't mind me asking, but I've been interested in getting into Dimension 20 for a while, but with all the campaigns they did already, I find it a bit hard to understand which one to start with, so I thought I'd ask you, as you seem to know your stuff ! So I was wondering if there was a chronological order to some campaigns, if there was one you advised to start with, and where I could watch it. I hope this doesn't bother you, have a nice day ! ♥

Short answer: d20 is divided into short and long seasons, long with the main cast (brennan dm'ing for lou, emily, murph, zac, ally, and siohban) and short sidequest seasons with different players, mostly dm'ed by Brennan but also with guest dms! You need a monthly/yearly subscription to dropout.tv to watch, but it's truly the best subscription service in my life, $6/month or 60/yr, with d20 putting out a 2 hour episode every week plus a half hour talk show in Adventuring Party (in addition to their other stellar comedy shows, Game Changer and Make Some Noise, especially). If you just want to dip your toes in and see if you like it, you can watch the first seasons of Fantasy High or The Unsleeping City for free on youtube

Long answer! Fantasy High is still to this day my favorite d20 property, it's teen adventurers at an adventuring academy in a sort of magical realism world. It's extremely funny and the first season was the first season of d20 so most of them are learning 5e after switching over from 3.5, although a few had no previous dnd experience. The second season is probably my favorite season of any tv show ever, and it's a great introduction to the main cast. Those characters will probably always be the closest to my heart in d20, they're all perfect to me.

The Unsleeping City is an urban fantasy series set in a magical New York that is also very good! There's again two seasons, and they are both well worth watching. The second season is again even better than the first, imo.

If you're getting into it because of Matt's season next month, then his The Ravening War series is a prequel to another main cast season, A Crown of Candy. ACOC is the biggest outlier in d20, which isn't ONLY a comedy show, but comedy is very much at the core of d20, but ACOC is a very, very emotionally heavy show. I loved it, but I have also never rewatched it since it took such a mental toll. It's a very high stakes, inter-party conflict, no resurrection magic world, and the entire cast had backup characters prepared in case of character death. It's very good, but not the best example of what the rest of d20 is like. If you've seen EXU Calamity, it is similar tonewise, just a longer campaign.

Then there's the two most recent main cast campaigns. A Starstruck Odyssey is a screwball scifi series set in a world created by Brennan's mom, Elaine Lee, who wrote the original Starstruck comics/play! It's very much a labor of love from him, and it was the first season the main cast filmed in person post-pandemic and the unhinged energy is truly off the charts. It was extremely good and would be a great starting point, no knowledge of the original Starstruck is necessary.

The most recent campaign is Neverafter, which is horror-inspired, but still very much a comedy. It's fairy tale inspired and I'm very sad it just ended because it was so good, although the ending was perfect.

Then there are the sidequests! My personal favorites of those are Mice and Murder, a murder mystery series set in an animal-populated turn of the century England, where the cast were all collegehumor alum so it was very funny and I love murder mysteries and think Brennan did an excellent job at it, and would frankly love another murder mystery season from him. A Court of Fey and Flowers from Aabria is another favorite, a fey-regency romance mashup that was absolutely perfect. The Seven is an all ladies/nonbinary season (dm'd by Brennan) that's technically a spinoff of Fantasy High so I would recommend watching it first, but also it stands alone if you don't mind spoilers for the main seasons.

So!! That was a very long answer, hopefully it was some help to you. You could really pick any season and be fine, and I hope you end up falling in love with d20! My personal recommendations would be to start with either Fantasy High or Starstruck, since I think they're the best examples of what the show is like overall. Good luck! I'm not sure how to phrase it exactly but basically what social circles exist in your human au - who knows who and who is maybe friends with who? Likeeee for example I'm assuming Zoe's circle is the rest of the humanized pets, Madam Pom, Gail (ig, I mean she is her sister so idk if that counts), Blythe (+ maybe her friends?), another guess is maybe Digby (🤤) or perhaps other guys he dated like Philippe (y'know, the dog mime?). Just kinda a question about who each of them know and are close/r to. It doesn't have to involve only the main characters if you have any circles like that, like maybe there are some side characters who have their own circles that don't involve any of them directly or at all likeeeee idk perhaps Bazil, Mitzi and Scout are all close friends (those are literally just the first names that came to my mind).

I’ll start by elaborating on what you mentioned with Zoe.

Indeed, other than the Main 7, she frequently talks to Madame Pom. Though since Pomela is almost always traveling its usually only by phone/video call. But if Zoe has time she’ll go to Paris to visit her. Soooo I think she'd have a friend group there too. Which brings back my headcanon that Zoe is learning French, with Pomela's help. I imagine she introduced Zoe to that French friend group so she can engage in actual conversation and put her learnings to use. As for guys she dated... wellllll. Like she won't hang with them as frequently as her other groups, but she's on good terms with some of them like Digby or Philippe as you mentioned.

Sunil! Again, Main 7. There's his co-workers at the pharmacy whom he'll chat with sometimes on slow days at work. There's also Scarletta, Tootsie, and Shivers- his bandmates. Which- I wanna get into the backstory of how he got in there but I fear it might be too long so I'll save it for another post.

Lots of Minka's paintings are on display at some art galleries, and so she's a little bit acquainted with the critics who talk about her art. Genghis, being one of them. In fact he's the one she likes talking with most frequently, even if it’s not for art reasons. She just thinks he’s neat!

Pepper doesn't get around much. They frequent a few clubs, and are a little familiar with the staff there. But not much. I guess the closest friend they have outside of the main 7 there's Mitzi who she likes to borrow perfumes from.

Vinnie, like Pepper, doesn't have much of a social circle outside of the 7. Sure there's all the wonderful actors and dancers he gets to work with for shows, but that's just what they are. Co-workers. Acquaintances, sure. But not super close friends.

Penny (i'm desperate for the right color for her can someone give me an html tutorial or smth pls) Well, there’s the Sweet Delights people- Buttercream, Sugar, Youngmee, Christie. And as I've said before in our DMs, she has a backstory with Scarletta. They were childhood friends, until Penny moved away. Which left Scarletta all alone, so she had to toughen up and stay strong. Then when Scarletta moves to Downtown to start Hazy Summers and sees Penny there... well. Yeah. They had a few things to fix, but overall are on better terms now.

Russell is fairly sociable. The main 7, the co-workers at the prosecutor's office. And of course, the Duchess of Lancashire Lane Fanclub hehe. I guess, according to the cameos in that episode, Scout, Tootsie, Digby, and Mary Frances are in that club too. As such, Russell knows them. They all fangirl over the hot Duke have intellectual discussions about the show's themes and story, and all the most interesting plot twists there are. A cup of hot tea to go along with it.

I reallyyyy want to mention Athena here so here I go- She’s a defense attorney, to rival him being prosecutor. Russell wants to make sure criminals get justice, but Athena is really good at her job so that frustrates him. But they’re not really friends. Like, sure he talks with her in between court sessions even if only to bicker with her.

OKay that's the main 7. As for others? I have a few ideas.

Delilah is acquainted with many people in the industry. She travels around the world to work with different companies and magazines. One of these is Tres Blasé. ...I'll get to the point. I like imagining her being friends with Mona and Tangier. Tangier, well, I suppose it'd be a one-sided thing. Like Tangier would go "Wow! We're friends! I'm so lucky to have you, 'Lilah." And Delilah, already a little bit wary of him just goes "Yes yes yes. Friends, or whatever..."

Poor little Nutmeg is very sheltered, and most of her friends were picked out for her by her parents. She doesn't really like them. Sometimes she likes sneaking out. Which is how she met Youngmee! They have a sisterly dynamic going on and its cute and wholesome, and a nice break for Nutmeg from her Lonely Rich Kid life.

Poppy Pawsley and Scout both work for the Biskits. Poppy is Eliza's secretary, ad Scout is Fisher's sssppyyyy..... uh secretary also. Nothing else at all. Yeah.

Oh hey we're back to Madame Pomela again. She knows Shahrukh. As a friend, boyfriend, or just co-worker- my mind switches it up sometimes but she does know him! She decided one day she'd expand her work, trying out acting in a movie. And then she meets Shahrukh there and yeaaaah.

let's see... to answer your question... it's a little bit of a long story, so i'll make a read more! (there is a TLDR at the bottom if you want)

in late 2017, twitch was broadcasting a marathon of Duel Monsters. at that time, my partner, Jamie, was getting really invested into it, since he had mentioned how he liked it when he was younger. for me, i had heard of YGO on TV when i was younger too, but i felt like i couldn't get invested in it, so i never kept track of it. i was vaguely aware of YGO's continued spin-offs, but i never gave it a chance.

so, after a few weeks, his passion about the show and how much he loved Atem made me want to try giving it a shot, too. because of Megumi Ogata's Yugi Mutou, i was interested in starting from the Very Beginning with the Toei season (season 0). i was curious how subbed YGO might be.

so, we watched all of the Toei season together. i came to really love Yugi the most, as he is a very kindhearted protag (my favorite type of protag) as well as Jounouchi and Kaiba. i was surprised at how the story was about our connections with others. i really loved how different it was compared to what i expected or remembered about the series from the past. the focus on games in general as a medium for the story was really good.

i was hooked on it and respected it. i finally understood the appeal. i wanted to jump into Duel Monsters (sub) right away. and we did! we watched it all together, starting in early 2018.

it took several months to watch, and i enjoyed it! i remember feeling shocked and kinda sad that "the shadow realm" wasn't real, lol. i didn't realize it had been a show that was censored like that. we even watched the DSOD movie after. it was really cool... Yugi really is a character i adore!

for about about a year or so after, i was really invested into puzzleshipping. i didn't draw very much at the time because of my severe untreated carpal tunnel though, so there aren't much past works from me, nor did i ever make any ship art.

Jamie got invested into the spin-off YGO and started watching VRAINS while it was airing after seeing a post about Yusaku/Playmaker on here. i gave it a few episodes, and immediately gravitated to liking Ai. but, i was going through a tough time personally and felt a little fatigued (in general) and of YGO because it was such a long series. i didn't think i could do another 150+ anime. so, i dropped it after 3 episodes and did other things for a few years.

he would talk to me about how much he loved how VRAINS was going and about datastormshipping, and i happily listened even though i didn't understand. it was nice to be a support at the time when i felt too tired and stressed to participate. this went on into 2019 as it finished, and well after into 2020. though, it shifted into aiballshipping, but he kept me safe from spoilers.

on a whim, in the middle of 2022, i suggested we watch VRAINS together because i felt up for it again, and i wanted to watch an anime together. i was excited to learn about Ai more, as i saw some vague spoilers here and there about him. i immediately grew to love Yusaku and Ai a whole lot! i was excited every weekend we could watch together. it only took 3 months to watch all 120 episodes because i was that invested. i again felt like a fool for not continuing in the past...

...and you know the rest. it's impacted me a lot. i haven't stopped thinking or talking about them for nearly a year now. i'm even more impacted by their story than the Toei season or DM. i like the characters and story a lot more for VRAINS, so it's my favorite. i even picked up Duel Links because i wanted to learn how to play (i'm kind of bad at it). i'm currently in the middle of ZEXAL now, but i want to check out all the others eventually, too. exciting!

TLDR:

i got into it in 2017 because of my partner's influence. watched season 0, DM, and DSOD and loved it. fell off for personal difficulties in real life and fatigue with long series. picked up VRAINS again in 2022 after dropping it in 2018 after 3 episodes. am now insane (positive) and invested in YGO because it's so fun and good. i'm happy to be here and hope i can be for a long time

-Jake definitely has imposter syndrome, 100%

-His pink tips are natural!! Like how people’s hair colour may fade when they get older, his pink tips are actually just the last bit of pink hair thats faded out as he’s gotten older. He had a full head of pink hair in his baby photos!

-I have adhd and I’m officially diagnosing him with it, mhm, yup. Its canon now/silly

-shakes his leg under his desk to stim

-really likes mac n cheese. Like, REALLY likes mac n cheese. Would eat it every day if his mum didn’t force him to have variety in his diet

-He has Eczema, As well as being super reactive to rashes. Avoid poison oak at all costs

-Is a big dog person, but used to own two canaries when he was younger named Jimmy and Lizzie (/ref)

-Liam and Stacy are great friends on Instagram (gachagram, was it?) and stacy constantly dms him to stop liking her mums pictures. He does it purely to piss her off and plays along with the bit, even with the jomies, so well that he’s convinced everyone except for stacy that he’s actually got a thing for her mum

-His yee yee haircut is quite beautiful, he just never fucking styles it so his bangs part farther apart than drew and jake after episode 10.

-guys. He doesn’t have brown hair…He’s just a really dark red head.

-The most chill guy ever, you could tell him you murdered someone and he’d just be like “…So…You need me to help you hide the body? Orr….”

-Has an older sister, Doesn’t really remember her. She ran away when Liam was 4. He doesn’t really feel anything towards her, but he looks a lot like her. He thought for a while, after he learned about it, that he was his parent’s replacement for his sister, so his parents often reassure him that they love home for being him, and that he’ll always be their liam. Unless he deadnames 👍

-As you can probably tell by the last headcanon, his parents are wonderful people trying their best to keep liam happy and stay stable. They’re middle class, both teach at the local community college, and have a small, nice house. They’re supportive of everything he likes and does. They do miss their daughter, but they’ve put it behind them and do their hardest to focus on liam

-I suppose the last two are more or so just random character story bits I made up, not headcanons, so actual headcanon: He has a calcium deficiency 100%

Then Drew Ofc

-He’s left handed! (pretty sure this is canon because Dosh said so and everything that dosh says is canon, but take that with a grain of salt cause I may be wrong)

-he stops henry, liam, and jake very often to fix their shirt collars or pull down their sleeves. Just a pet peeve of his

-Drew goes to country clubs, He tried bringing henry and liam, but they got kicked out for running next to the pool and knocking a lady in. Jake, on the other hand, is beloved by all the elderly women, who sit around and listen to him talk about whatever. Drew has to drag him away

-small waist, (Put this in my drafts and came back and rosypenguin’s thing came up, Good to know other people agree LOL) but is incredibly insecure about it, cause yknow, slight internalised misogyny.

-Not gonna diagnose him with anything, Especially BPF since I don’t know how to properly portray it accurately to peoples with BPD’s experiences, however, I think he shows a lot of signs of BPD from my research

-has definitely had/is having sal thoughts. In the past, they were more intrusive, but after the drakeup and with what happened with zoey, I think he’s really hanging onto Drew and Henry at the moment.

-He has indeed taken a drink or two out of his parents alcohol cabinet while henry and liam and jake were over. Drew’s clingy when he’s tipsy, but he has terrible full-body migraines during hangover, so he hasn’t done it in a while

-had a bayblade collection when he was younger. Keeps it in his closet now, but he’s super fucking proud of it

Henry my BOYYYY

-Rewatches the entire original Pokémon series atleast 3 times a month

-His teeth were so crooked as a child that he couldn’t talk. He had headgear (Braces that go all around your head) on up until 7th grade, he started in 3rd grade.

-Bruises super easily on ththe slightest taps. Has had to explain to cps multiple times that his parents are not mistreating him

-wanted to learn how to skateboard, could indeed not skateboard

-listens to the living tombstone, Ghost and pals, and Jack stauber

-Had a raging fnaf phase when he was an early teenager

-Adhd as well, Very visibly shakes and gets overwhelmed

-She and drew once bought a couple geodes and spent 3 hours breaking em all open as a date, she’ll never admit it, but it was her favourite one.

-Got the gold digger mindset from social media (probably TikTok and instagram), as well as misinterpreted advice from her older sisters (such as “High school is hard, you dont have to spend it in one relationship.”)

-However, despite getting the mindset from social media, she was too deep rooted in it to feel anything but sorry for herself when she was caught, not for drew. She knew it was wrong

-Does love Lia and Maria though, and very often would take them on girls days with drew’s credit card. This included spa days, and grabbing coffee, and probablya bit(LOT) of shopping

welcome to my january wrap up!! aka what media i used in order to procrastinate this month!

i know nobody really cares lol but i'm mostly using this as a way to keep track for myself

this month was my exam month 🥰🥰 so i didn't have the mental capacity to do much reading outside of uni, i mostly watched films in the evening to try and ignore all the stress i was feeling 😌 also i'm sure you'll notice if i do these every month but if i consume one type of media more i always end up neglecting the other ones a little bit, there is no balance with me 😭😭

books

at the very beginning of the year i finally finished east of eden and i really enjoyed it! and i'm around a hundred pages into the remains of the day but it feels like i'm just getting into it lol. i also bought house of leaves this month which i'm very excited to read!! (and just ordered a couple more but they'll be here in february, so i'll leave them for then)

movies

i'm predicting a big movie kick next month because i've been feeling really inspired to watch movies lately. i quite enjoyed most of these, had to start off my year with my favourite director and then the exorcist and fire walk with me were a wild ride that i really liked too.

tv shows

i basically watch tv shows exclusively with my sister, one episode almost every evening and it's a ritual i really enjoy 🥺🥺 i can't lie, the third season of twin peaks wasn't really my favourite, but i'm very happy with how they're doing percy jackson after what the movie adaptation was like! we just finished the queen's gambit today and i quite liked that one too!

music

i was a little too into dpr ian's mood swings in this order this month, it was pretty much on constant loop. i just find him really interesting and cool!! so i was just watching a bunch of his interviews and stuff this month, can't wait to listen to the rest of his music as well. and then unreal unearth is just so so so so gorgeous that i'm constantly thinking about it.

other

when i wasn't avoiding my problems by watching movies, i was doing it by playing the sims 4! i spent way too much time on this game.

i also read very few fics this month (still managed to read about 50k tho) and i will a hundred percent read more next month when i have the brain capacity! but i'm perhaps going to make a separate list for that every couple of months.

Okay I’m just gonna do a little Ted Lasso vent under a cut feel free to keep scrolling this is just so I don’t ruin someone’s day in DM’s by being salty as hell

TLDR this season has just been: go girl give us nothing for me. 

I’ll start with overall vibes, I just think they’re doing too much. Maybe this is personal preference re: ensemble shows but there are so many plotlines and while I disagree that Shandy and Zava and Anastacia are useless and time fillers (they’re side characters to advance main characters personal arcs.... that’s how side characters work) I do agree that they feel flat and one note, but I think that’s just because there’s too many characters and too many plots, and they’re not able to go deeply into any of them anymore. Like we’re not often sitting with characters, it’s like a quick scene then moving onto the next person and issue. 

Unfortunately I’m feeling that with Henry and Ted now, which sucks, because it’s one of the most meaningful relationships on the show. But Henry had an issue this ep, and by the time Ted spoke to him it had already been solved by parenting he’d done in the past. Which... I feel like we as an audience don’t need more reminders that Ted is a good dad, we already know that. Also I don’t feel as if “count to ten until you don’t feel angry even if that’s infinite” is the lesson that Ted has been learning this season? Hasn’t he been learning to occasionally be assertive and stand up for himself? I think this plot line could have been a bit deeper - Henry being insecure because his dad isn’t there and taking it out on other kids instead of... undisclosed being mean for no apparent reason and immediately apologising. Anyway that’s just one moment in the entire episode that fell flat for me. 

Rebecca, bro idk. She feels like 2 different characters to me at the moment. Like she’ll yell at Ted to make them win a match and then literally isn’t doing a single thing about it outside of that and will just be like hi :) to him in the hallway. Loved the moment where Higgins said maybe they needed to find another manager so much, I love his growth from S1 and actually saying brave things now, but I hate that it was brushed aside especially if she’s yelling at Ted on the regular now about losing. I’m glad she got her fertility tested because I feel like otherwise there’d be this huge “what if” for her. As a single person I was rolling my eyes at the emergency contact thing but yeah I get it she wants to find love. I think this is where my main criticism of the season comes in, and that is the reliance on the psychic, things that have been “set up” in previous seasons rather than characters actively doing things. Like as someone who has been watching closely for years now, I haven’t really been surprised by any of the directions they’ve taken s3. 

Rebecca is walking around looking for signs related to the psychic, which is all well and good especially if it leads her to getting her fertility tested and stuff, but same with Ted, not currently doing anything about the teams losses, not doing anything about the team & Zava when he was still there. He hasn’t spoken to Colin about benching him and then playing him when like... S1 Ted would be all over that. He hasn’t spoken to Beard about Jane. Idk I think there’s so much reliance on “it will all work out in the end” that they’ve forgotten you need to make active strides in the middle. We haven’t yet seen Roy working on himself to figure out what he wants with Keeley, Jamie has had no arc this season so far other than being suddenly a genius (like nothing has come from the 4am training sessions yet?)

Literally shocked that the writers can’t seem to think of a meet-cute that isn’t with someone’s boss, like I do think it’s odd that it’s happened 3 times now (Sam and Simi, Keeley and Jack, Sam and Rebecca) but I am here for seeing sapphics kiss onscreen even though I’m slightly concerned about the long-term of that for Keeley (but tbf I was about Sam too and that ended fine) 

Shandy Keeley stuff, I know it was a mirror with Sam Edwin but fml, I thought Keeley was going to learn to be a good manager and grow Shandy as an employee but... no. 

Final note even though I could probably rant for longer: I miss Phoebe SO MUCH

Anyway highlights of the season are: NATE!!!!, BeardRoy, Trent although I wish he’d say more, Higgins, and Colin has potential
