recently i got an ask on how i edit my instagram screenshots and here in gemville, all you have to do is ask and you shall receive my child

fun stuff under the cut!

this guide will be divided into two parts: how i take & edit my gameplay screenshots and how i edit my simstagram posts

before we get into the actual tutorial, here are a list of things that i use to help me take better screenies :)

gshade

i'm using an older version of gshade because - thanks to my procrastination - i never updated the version before everything went to shit.

2. presets!

i switch around between presets a lot lmao but for the most part, i use ellcrze's gshade preset for my family dynamics save, sunset n vinyl for my globetrotter save & sim download pictures and a modified boho dreams for my tjol legacy save (first post coming up soon!) sometimes i use lithium for cas pics too :p click here for a somewhat detailed explanation lol

3. tab mode camera mod

this camera mod is a godsend and makes taking screenshots soooooo much easier! 😌 i highly recommend getting this mod!!!

i think i mentioned this before in an ask - i edit my screenshots in photoshop before posting them on tumblr :D i don't really do much, just running a few actions and cropping my screenies. gshade does most of the work for me lol

this tutorial by @buglaur is insanelyyyy helpful omg i based my entire editing process on her tutorial, except for the colouring part because i'm lazy hehe

here's an example of my screenshots before and after editing (cropping the screenshot and running some actions)! there’s not much difference because as i said earlier, gshade will basically carry your entire editing process 💀

sometimes i put text in my pics like these screenies below :) i mainly use these two fonts - winkle and lemon milk :D

here's what you neeeeeed

1. photoshop

i'm using a 🏴‍☠️ version of photoshop that i got from a somewhat sketchy website but it runs great so i'm not complaining 💀

2. instagram post template and instagram story template

3. the actual instagram app

this is how i add text and emojis to my simstagram posts lol

disclaimer: i am NOT a photoshop expert. there's probably an easier way to do what i'm about to show you, but this works for me and i don't really mind the steps hehe

first things first, you're gonna want to open the psd files on photoshop and it'll look like this, depending on which file you opened

i usually just hide the layers that i don't need so in this case i'll hide the tagged users layer from the story psd and the bg layer from the post psd.

these are the layers that i hide but you can also leave them on if you want hehe totally up to you my dude. then you'll end up with something like the pics below

now we move on to the profile pictures! so what i do is i click these layers (shown below) and go 'file > place embedded > selected picture'

once you do that, you'll end up with something like this (below)! use 'ctrl + t' to resize your picture to fit into where the profile picture would go.

right click on the layer of your selected picture and click 'create clipping mask'. then you can hit 'ctrl + d' to adjust the picture to your liking!

now for the actual pictures for the posts. click on these layers (shown below) and go 'file > place embedded > your selected picture'

now all you have to do is 'ctrl + t' to resize your pictures, right click on the layer of the selected picture and click 'create clipping mask' then 'ctrl + t' again to adjust the pics!

after this whole process, i'll export my pics to my family dynamics folder on my desktop and queue it up on tumblr! :D sometimes my simstagram story posts have text and emojis like these ones below

all i did was upload the pics to google drive, download it to my phone, add text/emoji on the actual instagram app then saving the story to my phone... a lot of work but i don't really mind <3

A/N: HELPP im sorry i was laughing so hard at the tags bc like... satan. BUT ANYWAYS i hope you enjoy this one riv!!!! I love satan so much even though i’m still not super far through obey me (i’m trying so hard but genshin and cookie run MAN) so I hope he’s still in character and fits at least relatively well in the plot!! I had so much fun with this one, I actually fell a little more in love with satan writing this so we might need to arm wrestle for him LMAO but i’m rambling now, enjoooooy! Have a good day and drink ur water too! :D (also may have made a little reference to one of the books we both like, hehe!)

Summary: You and Satan are competing for the next book in your favorite series when things get a bit out of hand.

Word Count: 1.4k (under the cut)

You sat in your dorm in Devildom Academy, flipping through the pages of the fourth book in a series you had been reading avidly with your boyfriend, Satan. He had lent you all the books that he had and you breezed through them quickly, eager for more. You finished the last page, which was left as a cliffhanger, and groaned.

You wandered to Satan’s dorm, banging on his door. He opened it, leaning on the doorframe as he glared at you.

“Is there a reason you’re banging on my bedroom door at,” He checked his watch. “One in the morning?”

You shoved the book into his chest, dancing on your feet as he watched you with a raised eyebrow. “I finished! Where’s the next book? I wanna read it, it left off on a cliffhanger!”

Satan chuckled, taking the book and letting you into his room as you scanned his bookshelves, searching for the fifth book. 

“As it so happens, this is the last published book. The fifth book doesn’t come out until next week.”

“Next week? Ugh, I can’t wait that long,” You said, crossing your arms. Satan hummed, walking over to you and petting your head.

“Maybe I can ease your pain of waiting a little bit?”

You raised an eyebrow and Satan continued. “The author is holding a signing at the local bookstore to celebrate publishing the fifth book, so we can both get a signed copy.”

He sounded nonchalant about it, but you could see the excited twinkle in his eyes and the grin growing on his face. You nodded your head, feeling your own excitement pound in your chest.

“That sounds fun! Let’s make it a date then,” You said sweetly, making Satan blush as he nodded his head. 

“Okay, now get out of my room. I need to sleep,” He said after a few moments, making you laugh. You waved goodbye to him, excited for your date next week.

The week went by fast, and before you knew it, Satan was holding your hand as the two of you walked through Devildom, wandering to the bookstore where the author was signing the new book. 

You could hardly contain your excitement when you got in line for the signing. You and Satan discussed the plot of the series, all the twists and turns in the fourth book and how you were hoping it would pick up in the next one.

“I just hope that Cinder is able to save Kai! I mean, Levana is no joke!” You said, craning your neck to try and peek at the author who was currently signing the books, chatting with the other people in line. Satan nodded.

“But you’re forgetting that Cinder is powerful too. Plus she has her friends,” Satan said. You nodded your head, itching to get the book in your hands and read it. 

The two of you finally came up to the front of the line, both trying to contain your excitement over meeting the author.

“Hey! We only have one copy left that’s signed right now, sorry about that! We’re getting more copies as we speak, but this is the last one that I’ve signed,” The author said when the two of you stood in front of them. You stared at each other. You had agreed you would each get your own copy…

“It’s alright, we’ll take it,” Satan said. You glanced at him, thinking he was going to give it to you, but he held onto it after he thanked the author and the two of you walked out of the store.

“Hey, you have enough books,” You said, making grabby hands at the book. “Let me have it.”

“I’m the one who paid for it, plus I have the whole collection so far. It makes more sense for me to have it,” He said, smirking slightly as you gaped. 

“That’s not fair!”

“Is too. I’m equally as invested in this as you, and I’m the one who got you into it. You can just read it after me, but I keep the signed copy.”

You pouted as the two of you walked back to the dorms, Satan opening the door to his as he walked in. He went to set the book down and you made a grab for it, snatching it up and hugging it.

“Wh- Hey! Give it back!” Satan demanded, but you shook your head, sticking out your tongue playfully. 

“I’m gonna read it first!” You declared, running away from Satan, nearly tripping on the scattered things in his room as he chased after you. You laughed.

“It’s not funny! Give it back, you’re gonna bend the pages!”

You finally fell over a stack of books that laid on the floor where Satan was reorganizing his bookshelf. Satan dove for the book, grabbing it up and glaring at you.

“I already told you that I’m gonna read it first!” He said, helping you up as you pouted. You frowned, but that frown quickly turned into a grin as a plan popped into your head.

“Are you sure you’re gonna read it first? Don’t be so confident now,” You said, and Satan rolled his eyes.

“Of course I’m gonna read it first, it’s my book. Now, if you’ll excuse me-HEHe!” He laughed suddenly when you shoved your hands under his arms, wiggling your fingers around as he dropped the book, falling back against the arm of his reading chair as you chuckled triumphantly.

“See? How can you read if you’re being tickled?” You teased, Satan laughing as he tried to squirm away from you, falling into the chair as you followed, tickling his ribs as he threw his head back and laughed.

“Nohohoho! Plehehease dohohohon’t! You knohow I’m – WaHAHA!” He shrieked when you found a particularly sensitive spot on his lower ribs, lingering there as your fingers scribbled around, tickling every part.

“You’re what? Ticklish? Well duh, that’s why I’m tickling you right now. And I won’t stop until you promise to let me read the book first!”

“Why shohohohould I? EHEhehe, wait!” Satan squealed, kicking his legs slightly when you dug into his stomach, spidering around with ease as he hollered.

“Come onnnn Satan~ I just need to know what happens, I promise I won’t spoil anything!”

“Nohohohoho! I wahahahanna read it first! Plehehehease, no mohohore!” He begged through his laughter, and you frowned.

“I really didn’t want to have to do this, Satan,” You said with a hint of faux dismay. “But if you really won’t let me read it, you leave me no choice.”

You crept your hands downwards, skittering across his lower stomach before reaching out for his sides, trailing down to his hips. He gasped, grabbing your wrists and trying to pull your hands away, but there was no stopping you. You latched onto his hips and gave them a firm squeeze, making Satan wail.

“NOHOhohoho! Nonono, not thehehehere, plehehease! Wahahait!” He shrieked, laughing hysterically as you pinched at his hips, kneading them with ease as you buried your thumb in his hipbone, only making the sensations worse as Satan wheezed.

“Are you gonna let me read it?”

“Ahahahafter me!”

“Wrong answer!” You teased, continuing to go after his hips as he threw his head back and bucked, trying to shake you off as his hair flew about in a messy way, his cheeks bright pink as he laughed loudly.

You continued on, occasionally jumping spots to his stomach or his ribs to keep him guessing, but you ultimately stayed lodged at his hips, tickling them with vigor. He shoved at you, grabbed at your wrists, and even tried covering his face, but nothing was going to stop you.

“Okahahahay! You cahahan rehehead it first! Plehehease, just stahahap!”

You pumped a fist in the air in victory as Satan breathed a sigh of relief that the tickling had stopped. You pressed a quick kiss to his cheek before jumping down to grab the book, Satan flopping back in the chair tiredly.

“Get up, I wanna sit with you,” You said when you had grabbed the book. Satan grumbled.

“What, so you can read in front of me?”

You rolled your eyes. “No, so I can read with you! Come on.”

You urged him out of the chair and sat down, patting your lap as he stared at you, flabbergasted. 

“You mean to tell me you just tickled the life out of me… Just so that we could read the book together??”

You nodded your head. “Mhm!”

Satan gaped and you laughed. Satan sat down in your lap and crossed his arms, pouting. “What was the point in torturing me then? Rude…”

You chuckled. “It was fun! Come on now, let’s find out what happens to Cinder!” 

You opened the book, resting your head on Satan’s shoulder as the two of you read the book together, enjoying each others company as you enjoyed the new book as well.

like in my baby sister hcs, you’re still the most important thing to him period

the two of you got picked up by dazai and kunikida when he was 18 (obviously) and when you were 12

for a 12 year old, you were a bit small bc of malnourishment (which makes atsushi feel so bad) so both dazai and kunikida thought you were a bit younger than you actually were

they assumed you were about 9-10ish

you and atsushi both share a favorite food !! chazuke :)

so when kunikida treated the two of you, he made sure you got more bowls bc like i mentioned above, he feels really bad that you were malnourished and under weight

(don’t bring this up but kunikida felt bad too hehe)

when dazai went with your brother to the warehouse, you were with kunikida

imagine the surprise of the other ada members when kunikida came in with a little girl dressed in rags that popped out from behind him

kenji was the one who vocalized his thoughts 

“kunikida-san you have a daughter?! wow! i didn’t know that! :D”

when you found out your brother was a tiger, you were a bit concerned but you were actually kind of excited

Tune Tuesday

I'm late a bit I know lmao but in my heart everyday is Tune Tuesday, so. I'll go with a separate post, because I'm probably gonna write a lot and it's better that way then.

I'll also give some new songs at the end just to keep this going hehe

The Sound of Silence. This one gives me goosebumps every fucking time I listen to it and I love it. This song is also a tune for Adran, the big brother from IQRUS!

A lots of responsibility weighs his shoulders and some of them he took it upon himself voluntarily, but that doesn’t mean he can’t feel overwhelmed sometimes. But usually when he feels like that, he talks to (the IQRUS version is slightly different, but still) God and even though they never answers him personally, he feels better. However, when conflict comes upon conlict, God answers him the first time. Not gonna go too deep into it, because spoilers, but Adran’s head will be full of voices and whispers soon. I think you got an idea where this leads, but I’ll not spoil for now :D He slowly loses touch with his peers, his environment and his reality. From a point he just wants to find peace again. And in the end, when everything seems to fall apart, he will find it. For a moment, evertyhing will be clear again. He will find his peace and silence at last.

Man or a Monster. Definitely Darmon’s song!

When he faces the consequences of his action the first time is the one scene that came to my mind right away. He will look around in his environment with open eyes, seeing all the glossy eyes and empty faces he created through the years. He will walk faster among the “zombie-like” creatures. Every one of them awaits his order, not moving an inch by itself. Darmon feels sick. All the creatures, big, slender, draar, driadlin. They act the same when you rip their soul out. But it was for the right cause, right? He didn’t even know it won’t be reversible. Did he? No, he was very aware of that deep down and he still did it. At that point, he will reach the cages of the prisoners, and he needs to force himself to look at them. At the point ears, the too long arms and legs, the too slender or too bulky figures, at angry or frightened faces, at them whom curled into the corner of their cages, at… people. By the Three, they had souls to take and lives to fight for! He realises what he just did and then sees a kid too. He tries to change back whatever he did to her, but he just makes it worst and that’s when he losts it completely. He decides to free and warn the people (first time he calls them that) so they can save what’s left of the world from the monsters wearing the skin of men. Just like him. He also will learn some healing magic later on, so the "In your hands, there's a touch that can heal / But in those same hands, is the power to kill" line is just perfect for him.

All The King’s Man. This song is one of my all-time fav and I wrote a little novella for it in the past, but now with a different association, this one is also a Darmon song lol.

There's an event in Metalsea that will upset the world order and everything will change very drastically and fast. Some people even go kind fo nuts at some point and one of them will be Prince Urien who wanted to marry one of the MC's but couldn't because she ran away. So, when this event happens, Prince Urien kills his father to make himself a king and takes Syonehlia (the MC that ran away and Darmon's love interest) as a hostage to make her his Queen. Then Darmon finds himself in prison with every citizen of Evalon. He’s cluless about what’s the Prince’s twisted plan or motives, but he won’t sit in a cell while innocent people are imprisoned and Syon is in danger. He manages to free everyone from prison, however, the newly crowned King Urien has half an army of corrupted creatures with him that attackes them right away. Innocents die, while Syonehlia struggles to escape Urien’s grip. This overwhelms Darmon, he sees the product of his actions (because he created these corrupted creatures) and while he despises the idea, he uses his dark magic one last time and goes berserk. With feather light steps and seemingly choreographed gestures, he butchers the corrupts alone, barely keeping himself together. The shadows and whispers call him to join them, so when he’s on the doorstep of losing himself completely, he somehow wakes up from the dangerous haze.

I'd like to request a ficlet of Cloud and female reader spending a day at the beach in Costa del Sol, I'd love to see Cloud's reaction to seeing her in a bikini and maybe trying to cover her up or protect her from other guys' stares! They could even go swimming or play games together! And then maybe they could go to the Gold Saucer and try the gondola ride or other attractions? I can see Cloud trying to win her a teddy bear but refusing to admit he did it for her haha ;) // Ooh I have another idea, what about Cloud and reader doing a run in the Chocobos? Like maybe Cloud could teach her how to ride a Chocobo, or they could ride one together and maybe fall to the ground together hehe ;) thank you for considering my requests, hopefully any of them will inspire you and I hope you feel better soon 

A/N: I struggled a bit with this one for some reason, it’s a bit messy and quick paced, but I think it turned out pretty cute and fluffy! Enjoy :D

You knocked on the bathroom door, where Cloud was getting changed. After getting no response, you knocked again, growing impatient. How long did it take to put on some swim trunks? You couldn’t wait to go to the beach!

“Cloud!” You whined, also excited to see your boyfriend in a swimsuit. “Are you done?”

The door suddenly opened, and he stood there looking at you. His hands fell on his hips and he nodded his head in your direction.

“Ready” You had to chuckle at his words, because he still wore his tank top and carried his sword. The only change in his attire was the swimming shorts, he even wore his boots.

“You’re unbelievable” You walked behind him. “Taking a sword to the beach?”

“Just in case-” When he noticed you were trying to pick it up, he jolted up. “Careful!”

You yelped when you felt overwhelmed by the weight. Luckily, Cloud moved fast enough to support you before you could fall over. He put the weapon away, eaving it against the wall, and turned back to you again.

His eyes fell over your body, to the curves hinted under your sarong, but just for a moment as he blushed and quickly looked up into your eyes again. Sometimes he was adorable. Now that you were dating, you didn’t expect him to be as shy as usual, but he hadn’t changed.

Trying to save him the embarrassment, you picked up the bag where you kept everything you could need -towels, sunscreen, cool beverages... -and threw it over your shoulder. Before you could take even one step carrying it, however, Cloud took it from you to save you the effort. He didn’t say a word, but the gesture endeared you even more to him.

“Come on!” You held his hand, dragging him out of the room with you. “The beach is waiting for us!”

You started running, excited to finally reach it. Surprisingly, Cloud played into your game and began jogging by your side, not letting go of your hand either. Soon the salty scent of the sea reached you, and you smiled to yourself. Luckily, the beach wasn’t too far, because you were already panting from the dash.

Once you reached the sand, you didn’t lose one second. While Cloud took his shirt off and lay the towels down, you got rid of your sarong and flip flops and watched the soothing sight of the waves calmly crashing on the shore.

“Cloud” You turned to him, slightly bashful as you tried not to stare at his bare chest. “Wanna go for a swim?”

“Maybe later” His eyes didn’t meet you, too busy focused on the people around you.

Following his gaze, you realized what had him so upset. Certain people had no problem in taking a good look at you in your swimsuit. It made you self-conscious but you didn’t really mind. You weren’t the only one they were looking at anyway. Turning back to your boyfriend to allow yourself to really take in his slim but strong physique, you understood why.

Suddenly, he pulled you flat against him. Bracing yourself, your hands instinctively flew to his stomach. You could feel his defined abs against your palm, causing you to blush. But he didn’t notice, tightly wrapping his arms around you to hide your exposed skin.

“Cloud?” You peered up at him, finally locking eyes.

“They’re staring” He replied, frowning as his blue eyes fell over you. “Should’ve brought my sword”

“You don’t think people stare at you too, handsome?” You giggled, amused by his pout. “Let them look, you’re the only one who can get close”

He paused for a moment, but then sighed and loosened his grip on you.

“You’re right, sorry... I just got-”

“Jealous?” 

“You’re making this real hard on me, Y/N...”

You laughed a little, and repressed the urge to pinch his cheek. You had been teasing him enough already and you didn’t want to make him uncomfortable. Instead, you pointed a thumb over your shoulder. 

“I’ll just go to the water for a bit” As you took a few steps back, Cloud nodded his head and sat down on the towel. “You’re welcome to join me whenever you want”

“Got it” Was his dry response, despite the fact that his eyes never left you.

You walked slowly, feeling the drastic shift between the hot sun kissed sand and the fresh ocean water under your toes. You feet settled on the solid wet sand under them as the water softly went up and down with the tide, circling your ankles and then retreating once more. 

Walking further once you were a bit accustomed to the lower temperature, the water now reached up to your knees. A wave returned to the shore, making you stumble with its force. Turning to Cloud and smiling to yourself in pure enjoyment of the moment, you saw he was still looking at you.

You energetically waved at him. Seemingly annoyed at your playfulness, he only stared. You stuck your tongue out at him and waved again. Resigned, he waved back at you. He was always trying so hard to play it cool... Well, you were determined to enjoy every second of your holiday. 

Before you could turn around to face the horizon, however, a bigger wave came behind you, roughly crashing into you and throwing you to the ground. When you glanced at him, Cloud’s expression had changed from annoyed to worried as he ran to you. You held your head low, too amused by his exaggerated response.

“You okay?!” He urgently pulled you to your feet, his hands gentle around you, and you still struggled not to laugh. “Y/N...”

Taking your behavior the wrong way, he scooped you into his arms, concerned. Still trying to suffocate your laughter, you hid your face on his neck.

“Talk to me, are you hurt?” His words broke you completely, because how could you be actually hurt from that? It was really sweet, but also hilarious to you. He was always so dramatic.

“I’m not hurt, I’m...” 

“Are you... laughing?” Cloud let out a shaky breath, piercing eyes focused on you.

“Sorry... I’m sorry” You heard him loudly sigh as he gently carried you still.

“Don’t do that” He complained, and you could almost hear his heart still racing.

“Why, were you worried?” You looked right into his eyes and cutely tilted your head at him. “Huh, boyfriend?”

“Y/N...” His voice held a tone of vexation as he gently lowered you into the ground.

As soon as your bare feet touched the wet sand once more, you began running around him.

“Are you mad at me?”

“A little”

“Really? Watcha gonna do?”

“You’ll see”  

“You’ll have to catch me first, big boy!”

You splashed water at him, trying to finally get him to open up a bit. Knowing Cloud, he was holding himself back. You could see it in his eyes, that he wanted to have fun with you. Because he was stoic, strong, serious and hermetic. But he was also kind, sensitive, thoughtful and shy. 

“Stop it” Giving in, Cloud chased after you. Utterly astonished by this, you screamed as you ran away from him. The water around your ankles slowed you down.

When he caught up to you, Cloud took you by the hips and easily lifted you off your feet. He carried you back to the dry hot sand while you yelped and laughed at the top of your lungs. You even heard him chuckle in response to your noises.

“That’ll teach you” He said in your ear, and suddenly his voice was playful.

You laughed when he lightly squeezed your sides, effectively tickling you. You turned around to be face to face with him and pouted your bottom lip. As you expected, he yielded at the sight of your adorable expression.

“War’s over” You joked, brushing your lips against him. He immediately relaxed under your touch, giving into the brief kiss. “I win”

“You’re killing me here” Mildly embarrassed by your interactions, it was him who pouted at you know. “Why did I agree to this?”

“It was your idea!” 

“Yeah, ‘cause I know how much you wanted to go on a holiday together”

Cloud swore under hsi breat at the look of utter adoration you gave him in response to those words. He knew you well enough to realize it would only earn him more teasing. 

“You did it for me? Aw, Cloud” You put your arms around his neck and hugged him. “Don’t pout! Enjoy yourself, silly”

“Stop it with the nickames” He frowned, actually sounding upset.

For once you started to believe he was legitimaly having a bad time. Your face fell at the thought that he was mindlessly letting you drag him along but was loathing every second of it.

“Y-You don’t like them?” 

“I didn’t say...”

For a moment, you locked eyes. It was the first time since you arrived, even after your long journey, that you really connected with each other’s emotions. Cloud suddenly understood why you were so excited and eager. It wasn’t because of the holidays, or the beach, or all the new things. It was because you were sharing them with him. And you saw that he wasn’t being broody just because, he was trying to act cool as usual, but that he was truly flustered and slightly overwhelmed by everything.

“If you don’t like the beach we can go back to the hotel and-”

“It’s not that” His hand lovingly cupped your cheek. “Maybe dial it down a bit?”

You paused, taken aback by the sweetness in his voice and the amorous look in his beautiful eyes. Then you smiled and nodded your head.

“Sure” You chuckled, pressing a hand against his and reveling on his warm touch. “And you could let yourself go a bit more”

“Not happening” Cloud turned his face away, but you could see a flirtatious grin playing at the corner of his lips. He was trying, going along with your demeanor.

A sudden wave of fondness for him hit you. He could be so sweet... You could tell how much he cared, how much he loved you. And it made your heart sing.

“C’mon, grumpy! You’re allowed to have fun!” You took his hand and pulled at it. “It’s only you and me now, relax”

“Fine” He gave in, beginning to walk alongside the shore. “Only for you”

Cloud clicked his tongue, turning to you in defeat. You watched him in curiosity, surprised that he seemed to enjoy those little games so much. When you suggested to go to Gold Saucer, you didn’t expect it to actually become part of the plan, and you certainly didn’t expect Cloud to get so into it.

“I’ll try again” Was all he said, buying another ticket.

“Since when are you so proud, Cloud?” You teased him, nudging him a little.

He didn’t respond, focusing on his aim. However, before he threw the ball at the bottles, you noticed how his eyes kept drifting to the big teddy bear at the top of the display. 

You smiled, reading his mind and the reason behind his stubbornness. Endeared by this, you leaned closer to kiss him in the cheek. He frowned and looked at you, but you only giggled and shrugged.

“For good luck” You said as an excuse, knowing he wouldn’t admit his reasons so you wouldn’t admit yours. 

The start of a smile grew on his lips, but it never settled there as the concetration took over his features. You watched in expectation, following his every move as he prepared to throw the ball. When he did, you happilly cheered after it collided with the bottles and knocked them all down.

“Congratulations” The stand keeper reluctantly said, clearly annoyed that Cloud won. “Choose your prize”

Your boyfriend didn’t hesitate, silently pointing a finger to the teddy bear. As soon as the man gave it to him, Cloud humbly handed it to you. 

“Was that why you were so determined?” You asked, hugging the plushie, even if you knew the answer already. “So you could win me something?”

“No...” He simply replied, averting his gaze. “I knew I almost had it”

“Thanks anyway” You winked at him, which was enough to fluster him.

“Welcome” He muttered, although his voice sounded slightly deeper than usual.

“Let’s go on a ride!” You took him by the arm, clutching the teddy bear in your free one. 

You ran at top speed with him closely trailing behind you, dragged along. When you reached the entrance of the roller coaster, you were almost vibrating in excitement. The ride stopped before you on the rails, and you turned to Cloud.

“Hey...” You saw how he eyed it warily, and how his muscles tensed under your grip. “Something wrong?”

“Um...” He blinked repeatedly, then turning to glance at you. “No”

To further demonstrate, Cloud climbed in before you. Hesitating yourself, you watched him for a moment. He tightly held on to the security bar while he waited for you to get in. Knowing him as you did, it felt like he was dreading the moment the ride started.

“Everything okay, Cloud?” You slowly sat by him, placing the plushie between you two. “You look a little-”

“I’m fine” He rushed to say, even if he didn’t look at you.

You opened your mouth to reply, but never got to say anything. Just then the attraction started. Cloud gasped in anticipation, but you yelped in excitement. Still, you couldn’t hep but to glance at him with the corner of your eye. You knew better than to think he was scared of rollercoasters, it seemed unlike him. Then what was the problem?

The issue momentarily left your mind as its speed claimed your attention, making you scream at the top of your lungs and throw your arms into the air. To add on to the many and incredibly emotions of the day, the adrenaline began racing through your veins. The ride climb upwards, only to throw you down again even faster. It made your heart race in a way only Cloud had before. You were thrown upside down with the last loop as the path went flat again and the rocky ride came to a halt.

Still coming off that high, you stumbled out of the ride. When you turned around to share your excitement, you looked over at Cloud. You saw the state he was in and realized it was worse than you thought.

“Ugh...” He struggled to stand, and he was extremely pale.

“Are you okay, Cloud?” Worried, you rushed to hold him up. He appreciated your support, resting his arm over your shoulders and resting part of his weight on you.

“Dizzy...” He held a hand to his forehead, shutting his eyes tight.

“Let’s sit down for a moment” You wrapped your arm around his waist, walking with him towards a close by bench. He took it slow but you were patient.

As soon as you neared the bench, he plopped down on it and groaned.

“Has this happened before?” You asked him, kindly stroking his arm.

Keeping his eyes closed, Cloud weakly nodded his head. You grit your teeth, equal times endeared that he kept it silent for your sake and annoyed that he put himself through that knowing the result.

“Why didn’t you tell me something?” You gently took at his arm, easying him down until his head rested over your lap. “Lay down, Cloud, as long as you need to”

Worried and empathetic to his unwell, you softly caressed his hair. Cloud tightened an arm around his stomach, letting the other one fall limply off the side of the bench.

“No...” He uttered, making an effort. “Don’t wanna ruin your day”

“It’s not ruined as long as I’m with you” You comforted him. “Besides, it’s not fun unless you’re having fun too”

He groaned again, and you hated to see him like that. Cloud parted his lips, but he must have been feeling so sick that he didn’t manage to say anything. You took mental note of his motion sickness to avoid it in the future.

“Can you do something to make it better?”

“No... Just wait until it passes”

“Okay, just breathe and try to relax” Hoping it worked, you put your teddy bear on his chest. “Mini Cloud here will look after you too”

“Mini... Cloud?” He repeated in confusion, opening one eye.

“Yeah, because he’s soft just like you, softie” You joked, and were pleasantly surprised to see him smiling in response.

Another wave of dizziness hit him, and he groaned yet again as he closed his eyes tight. One of his arms did wrap around the plushie, though.

“There’s no rush, Cloud” As a comforting gesture, you rested your hand over his chest. “We’ll wait until you feel okay” 

Continuing to sink your fingers into his soft hair, you didn’t stop stroking it. He didn’t complain, and in fact his tense expression relaxed slightly. After a few more seconds of silence in which his spinning world settled, his free hand fell over yours.

“Thank you, Y/N” The way he said it, you knew there was something more behind his words. Something that he was saying for the first time to you, and that caused your heart to skip a beat. Three words that, although different from the traditional ones, meant the same thing.

“You too, Cloud”

my day yesterday was okay, i've just been relaxing, and studying occasionally. went out to explore a nearby town too, it's so pretty there. and much colder (since it's a highlands) of course!! Today was great too. I bought doughnuts (they're amazing?? I love doughnuts), and I had instant ramen, but it was SO spicy I nearly died. (Three bottles of water later, because someone finished all the milk in the household *cough* me *cough*) and I'm still just reeling. Sucks having such low spice tolerance HAHA. I'm listening to some old school hip-hop rn, while typing this out :D how were your two days?

(like that book award example) i may be getting the thing muddled up, but i found that so cool. like yeah, a book or speech could be absolutely beautiful, but if everyone can't enjoy it due to it being a different language, it would be such a shame. i just find translators really important. sorry, i'm really dorky haha 🥺🥺

Yeah!!! I love mayo, not to the point where I would gulp it down from the package, but it does make dishes taste good. HAHAH, honestly, that reminds me of how there were 4 people with the same name in my class, and whenever the teacher did the attendance thing, they would all stand up. Teachers usually dont say the last names, so we always gotta ask which person they mean if theres more than one person with that name, so yeah.. That happened on accident at first, but then they just did it for trolling xD

Doctor Who Tag Game

An excuse to ramble on about my favourite dumb show??? Thank you for tagging me (again) @sopheirion!! :D

I’m not going to tag anyone but you can say I tagged you if you want to do it!

Favourite Doctor: MY BOY TEN!! ALSO ELEVEN! I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH ;o; And please please please get Matt Smith on board at Big Finish and then have them MEET UP AGAIN that would honestly be the dream. But I’ve loved all the multi Doctor stories in the comics too, so I mean they have met up more than once, but still, you can never have enough of them in my opinion. :’) But that being said, I LOVE TWELVE so much I’m so proud of him and how much he grew. AND I LOVE NINE. AND THIRTEEN IS MY GIRL no matter what the writers decide to do with her. As for the Classic boys, I love Three and Four and Five. Also Two. AND ONE. And EIGHT. Well actually I love THEM ALL!!!! But to be fair, I haven’t watched much of Six and Seven... it’s okay, I still love them.

Favourite Master: Missy!! I miss her so much, she would have been amazing with Thirteen... even though I know Michelle was saying that Peter was her Doctor and she wouldn’t feel right going up against anyone else. :( I’m excited to hear her second Big Finish series! I still really liked that story in her first series about that clock...

Favourite Sonic: Oh gosh, I don’t know. Maybe Eleven’s just because it springs out and the way Matt waves it around?? (also because my Eleventh Doctor sonic is broken and doesn’t close anymore because I clicked it open one day and the springs snapped........... I need to buy a new one) Also Thirteen’s sonic is just really pretty and I love how my version has the crystal spinning around and the orange/gold lighting is just very very nice. (But actually I love them all shhh)

Favourite Companion: DONNA NOBLE ALWAYS. Clara Oswald is a very very close second though. :’) I miss them both very much and I hope they can come back one day. And (I don’t know why I’m doing a top 3 but) I love Amy Pond!! Just thinking about how much I cried when Amy left and THEN HOW MUCH I CRIED WHEN ELEVEN SAW HER BEFORE HE REGENERATED....... rip

Favourite Story: Blink still remains my most favourite episode ever. I just love the Weeping Angels and the timey-wimey-ness of it all. But does this mean like favourite story arc... hmmm I guess the missing planets from series 4, and the cracks in time in series 5 because I love series 4 and 5 lots.

Basically, I miss Murray Gold a lot... Haven’t listened much to the series 11/12 soundtracks yet to have definite favourites from Segun Akinola but they’ll come along eventually. :)

Dream Actor for next Doctor: Idris Elba!! Or bring in Jo Martin to take over once Jodie chooses to move on. :D Richard Ayoade would also be hilarious lmao. Or Eddie Redmayne just because Newt Scamander reminds me so much of Eleven.

Dream Composer: Oooh, maybe Lorne Balfe. The music he composed for His Dark Materials is wonderful!!! Maybe a bit more on the epic side than is needed for DW, but yeah!

Dream Story: The Doctor at Disneyland, and specifically that all the animatronic dolls in come to life (or they’re all Autons!!) and want to take over the Earth!! Or actually, doesn’t matter what the story is about, as long as the Doctor goes to Disneyland hehe.

A companion you’d like to see back: DONNA :’( and Kate and Osgood!! BRING BACK UNIT. And Clara and Bill would be the easiest to bring back - they’re out there in space somewhere, Doctor!! You just gotta find them! AND MARTHA! Though I really liked that Thirteen met her in the comics. :’)

An Enemy/Alien/Creature you’d like to see again: Weeping Angels!! Also the Time Lords...... bring Gallifrey back again ;o; WHERE IS ROMANA??? Give me the Rani too while we’re at it!

If you could travel with one of the Doctors, which Doctor and why?: Ten, just because I love him the most, but also professor Twelve. I would love to attend the Doctor’s lectures because honestly, what is he going to talk about today?? Who knows!!! I love that text post that’s about Twelve throwing darts or flipping open a dictionary at random to decide what he’ll lecture on because that would honestly be how the Doctor decides lmao. And I would just like to be there to see Twelve and Nardole bicker.

author’s note: ages are a year younger than canon so ranpo is 25, yosano 24, kunikida & dazai 21, fukuzawa 44, you’re 19, and atsushi and the other younger members are not employed yet

and i guess slight spoilers for the untold origins of the armed detective agency but not really. it’s just a reference to it tbh

going to Sakura’s the next morning wasn’t what Fukuzawa had planned during his week

the reason he was dropping by was to give you money for the sweets you had given ranpo

when he had arrived back at the agency the evening before, he had made a big fuss about you and Sakura’s

he had sparked a lot of people’s interest seeing as ranpo was well invested in whoever you were and what your business was

he wouldn’t stop talking about the “cute and annoying bakery girl” who practically saved the agency simply bc she sheltered him during the rain and fed him and almost got hit by a car for him

i mean, how would the agency survive without ranpo? it was founded to make use of his intelligence and ability after all

the other agency employees exchanged looks and that’s when ranpo tiredly sighed and showed them his phone

on the screen was a contact, yours to be exact, labeled “cute bakery girl” with the note underneath reading “best follower, sweets supply & annoying little kid”

around that time, the president had stepped out of his office to see his employees huddling around ranpo and his phone

he walked over to them and asked what was going on, and seeing the president, ranpo explained what had happened with more details

“so you’re saying that a young girl, 19 years old, nearly got herself run over to shelter you from the rain, gave you food, closed her business early so you could keep talking, and when the rain stopped, she gave you a map and even more food, and even though she may have been inconvenienced, she did not ask for anything back? nor did you offer to give her anything back? even though she relies from the money she earns to survive?

“...maybe.”

after a, private chat with ranpo, fukuzawa ended up saying that he’d go take a visit to Sakura’s first thing in the morning to pay off the sweets that she’d given him by sliding an envelope of money under the door with a note

he initially told ranpo to go back right away (and to bring someone with him this time) but that ended up not pulling through bc ranpo had told him you went to retire for the evening

so yeah

there he was walking towards your bakery when he saw a small black cat with green eyes near the entrance playing with one of the potted plants outside

even though it was small, fukuzawa could tell that it wasn’t kitten due to his love of cats but the cat was still small compared to other adult cats

when he was just a couple feet away from the entrance to your bakery, the black cat took notice of him and walked his way before rubbing itself against his leg

fukuzawa let out a small smile as he bent down to pet the small creature, and the cat gladly ate up all the attention

suddenly the entrance to Sakura’s bursts open, and there you are looking back and forth frantically 

but you soon spot him and the cat and you visibly calm down

the black cat rushed to you and rubbed itself against your leg

it turns out the cat was yours, and you couldn’t find him so you panicked and rushed out the door

from there, you introduced yourself with fukuzawa doing the same

you still had about a little more than forty five minutes til Sakura’s was scheduled to open but you offered fukuzawa to come in anyways

he declined at first, but he gave in when, just how you did with ranpo the day before, you dragged him into your bakery

“you know, fukuzawa-san, this is giving me some major deja vu!”

“it’s because of ranpo i presume.”

“oh! you know ranpo-san?”

when the two of you entered, you rushed to a table and pulled out a seat for him before you disappeared off into the kitchen

just a few minutes later, you appeared with a tray with two steaming mugs, two hot plates of food, and small basket of bread

you set one mug in front of fukuzawa as well as a plate of food while you set the other mug and plate in front of the seat across from him and the basket of bread near the center by the small vase of flowers that you had for a center piece

he gave you a confused look as you sat in front of him and as your cat leaped into your lap

“ah! it’s pretty early in the morning, and you still have to go to work later, so i thought you should at least have a little something before you go. and i didn’t have breakfast yet so i thought it would be nice to have some tea with some company. and i made extras anyways!”

fukuzawa blinked before letting out a small smile and he quietly thanks you

you beam at him and as the both of you begin to eat, you ask him why he’s here this early and how he knows ranpo

with that, the silver haired man addresses your questions and explains the reason why he’s here and how he knows the brown clad male 

after explaining, fukuzawa pulls out the envelope with some money and slides it over to you

you try to reject it, but somewhere in the back of your mind, you’re screaming bc you know you need the money for bills and whatnot

fukuzawa wasn’t very helpful either

“so you’re saying you don’t need the money?”

“...no”

you end up accepting the money much to your inner conscience’s chagrin and to fukuzawa’s inner delight

moving on from that, for the rest of the time he was there—the last 40ish minutes or so—you rambled and talked to fukuzawa like how you did with ranpo the day prior, only this time, with a cat switching his resting point for either yours or fukuzawa’s lap

honestly, you’ve gone through so much deja vu and at this point, you’re not sure if you’re still in reality or not

sometime in your conversation, fukuzawa learned that your cat, ironically, was named lucky

apparently you found him in an alley while you were grocery shopping two weeks ago and since you took him in, you noticed that Sakura’s received a lot of new customers and that a lot of them actually ended up becoming regulars

speaking of the cat, you kept having to stop lucky from eating the food on the table

if fukuzawa was amused from your antics along with lucky’s, he was pretty good at hiding it

you: “lucky you naughty cat! i already told youuu” >:(

lucky: >:3

fukuzawa internally: :) & :D

the two of you had also became well engaged in talking about different kinds of tea, with fukuzawa even complimenting you with the tea you had made for him

it became his favorite <33

you were so happy <3

speaking of which, the two of you also talked about the childish detective

it was kind of hard to tell whether or not you were admiring him <3 or insulting and complaining </3 about him lol

“so you’re the president ranpo-san was talking about huh. we talked a lot about his job yesterday! it seems quite exciting! but he talks quite a lot honestly.”

“ranpo talked a lot about you as well”

“ah really?! he can be a bit of an ass, but he really is amazing isn’t he?”

“mhmm”

through fukuzawa, you also learned how the two had first met, and this time, it was hard to tell whether you were amazed or angry at him

“awh that’s so cool!! but for someone so smart, he’s an idiot! what if he got hurt?! it was a good thing you got there huh fukuzawa-san?”

if you thought ranpo was like an older brother figure, you definitely saw fukuzawa as some sort of father figure

he noticed that you started to act like ranpo a little bit

you had developed some sort of attachment to him and when he praised you abt your tea, you had the same glow ranpo has when he gives him praise

not that fukuzawa minds

you’re just another child he’s adopting !! <33

not that either of you knew that hehe >:D

time went by pretty fast and before you knew it, there was only 10 minutes until you were scheduled to open

it was a good thing you had just finished all your prep before fukuzawa arrived

after making a promise with fukuzawa for him to come back again for some more tea, he stood up and made his way to the door as you carefully lifted lucky from your lap so you could quickly wash the dishes and to wipe the table and chairs you used

you offered some baked goods and some tea for to go but fukuzawa declined saying that you needed your supplies for your customers

as soon as you placed lucky on the wooden surface, he bolted to fukuzawa and kept on circling his legs and rubbing against him to stop him from leaving

i guess it turns out you weren’t the only one to get attached to fukuzawa

he couldn’t get even one step closer to the door without lucky reacting and running rapid circles around his legs to get him to stop moving

you didn’t know what to do and you were starting to freak out bc it was almost time to open up, but fukuzawa saved the day and offered to take lucky back with him and promised to take him back the next day

at first, like how you did with the money, you declined but ended up giving in when you saw quite a few of your morning regulars walking down the sidewalk towards Sakura’s for its opening

fukuzawa simply picked up the cat and walked out the door giving you one last wave of good bye

when they left, there was only about 5 minutes left and you rushed to finish the last minute clean up

when fukuzawa arrived at the agency (after a quick stop at home) with a cat in his grasp, let’s just say that quite a few more questions were raised

when asked about the cat, he simply answered that he was cat-sitting for a friend and ranpo knowingly smiled

but he then realized that fukuzawa arrived without any of your signature baked goods and he started complain as the rest of the agency members stared in confusion

with ranpo’s visit, they had quite a few questions, but with fukuzawa’s visit to Sakura’s, their confusion only grew a whole lot more and will continue to keep growing

A Change Within

This took far too long to finnish, school and other things got in the way, but I did it! After many atemps hehe...

This story is from an AU I made myself ( I still don’t have a name for it) I had so much fun (and frustration in a good way) making this!

"We'll lose more supplies and people then we gain from that girl, if it keeps going like this then we should've ignored that van like I told you guys from the start!"

"let's not get hasty bro-"

"No, Raph's right...As much as I hate to say this, it's true, we cannot sacrifice so many supplies and people for just one person...especially if we don't gain valuable things in return, we can't forget the many mouths we need to feed."

She muted out the rest. Having no need to listen any longer, the new information was more than enough...

She didn't blame them...how could she? It was all true...

Regarding the circumstances, it would've been only a matter of time... until the subject would be addressed.

She just thought, or more precisely hoped that it would be much later than sooner...

Liquid dripped onto her bare palms, warming the chilled hands only a bit. She looked down at them, choking out a sob when she saw the brown string tied around her left wrist with a knot.

"There! Now you'll only have to look at it and think of me, and I'll chase those mean monsters away!"

The tears ran down her face faster, her chest began to tighten, she swallowed, trying to get rid of the bile in her throat.

She blinked, the glistening tears in her hands trembled as they let go a trail of the colour red.

It bled all over her palms, painting her hands bloody, tickling down her wrists and arms onto the grass and boots.

A silent scream of terror left her lips as she stared at her bloody hands, her whole body trembling.

"E-every...T-thing...w-wi-il be...al-lr-righ...t....r-right...?"

She could hear the weak sobs and coughs through his scared voice.

"Y-yes! Everything w-will be al-alright, don't - don't you worry..."

"...Pr-promise...?"

She couldn't breathe, it was all too real...the pain, too unbearable...

The blood, trickling down his chin... he was scared...yet, he smiled...

"I...I-I promise."

Promises...aren't meant to be made...

"Norah, concentrate!"

She gritted her teeth as she slashed her sword down onto the dummy, slightly gracing the side of the head.

"Are you trying to get yourself or your teammates killed!? Hit the stupid dummy!"

Norah tried to ignore the taunting words, putting all her energy in her arms, raising the heavy sword above her head. Sweat ran down her back and brow. She gripped the sword tighter, trying to keep it in her clammy hands.

It tilted a bit backwards before she slashed it downward with a roar.

Hitting the dummy in the shoulder.

A laugh full of relief left her lips.

"I did it!"

"Good job. Now get the sword out of it."

Norah glanced towards the lizard mutant who looked at her expectantly with his arms crossed. Waiting for her to make a move.

He had taken the time to help train her with the sword after Raphael gave up, giving her the chance to humour him, he kept going even though she was so bad at it. Really testing his patience and calmness, he was good at it. 

He hadn't screamed once at her in anger.

Though, she had noticed his tail swishing back and forth in impatience, betraying his real emotions.

But still, she was thankful he didn't give up on her, even though she felt like giving up herself...

Norah grasped the handle of the sword with two hands, trying to yank it out.

It was stuck.

'You've got to be kidding...'

She felt so hopeless, useless from the moment she entered the camp.  

The poor girl had been stuck in bed for two months... to recover from the hell her body went through, she had to literally regain the capacity to move her entire body to fully function again.

A strange foreign wound, she didn't even know it existed, caused her body to shut down and paralysed her for weeks, it left a scar inside her body...

Making it hard to lift and do things smoothly with any kind of heavy objects,

She couldn't even move when wearing heavy armour.

Norah sat on the ground. Leaning her back against the silken material of the tent, resting her chin on her knees, listening to the many footsteps, chimes and noises of armour and weaponry being carried around the camping site.

An attack was soon to be taken place at the High-Ground, everyone was preparing for it.

And Norah had been shooed away from helping, being told multiple times she shouldn't go even near anything remotely heavy, cause of the fear she would do more harm than good.

She felt like she was treated like a small child, a child who's been scolded for touching a very expensive vase and accidentally breaking it.

So here she was, sitting inside her tent curled up in herself, even though she wanted to storm out and demand to let her at least help.

But, on the other hand, they were right.

Every time Norah tried to help something would happen, a pot with food or water would break, armour would be dented, metals or other stuff would be scattered all over the floor.

The words of the four leaders from a week ago still echo throughout her head, it pained her to hear them. She wanted to deny what they said, wanted to prove that they were wrong, but, a seed of doubt had already been planted inside of her. 

It slowly drowned the hope she had with thorns.

She couldn't make herself deny the accusing words, after all.

They were true. Three lives lost because she couldn't fight, couldn't act fast enough...

Whenever a tear fell, the plant would grow, jabbing into her flesh with its sharp thorns.

Every time something went wrong, the plant would let its roots crawl further and deeper, making it harder and harder to weed it out.

Norah gripped the fabric of her tent, watching as the troops left the camp. Children and the wounded stayed behind, waving at the departing troops, wishing them a safe trip and praying for a secure return.

"MIKEY!! GET OUT OF THERE!!"

Leonardo roared, pulling his youngest brother away in the nick of time from an oncoming barrage of laser blasts, which penetrated the ground into misshapen smoking holes where Mikey just stood not a second ago.

the turtle in orange stared wide eyes at the holes, his mouth formed a silent 'oh' before letting out a breath. "Thanks, bro..."

Leonardo gave a silent nod, glaring at the bots across the field, shooting laser blasts from their foreign high-tech weapons.

The leader in blue cursed softly under his breath. He hadn't considered the possibility of the Krang fighting their own battle.

He struck his enemy horizontally across the chest area, watching as the brainwashed mutant crumpled down onto the ground, clutching it's bleeding chest, and letting out gurgling noises.

Leo closed his eyes for a moment, seeing flashes of memories going past his eyes, too fast to make any sense of them. Emotions of all kind spread throughout his body before he pushed them away, deep, deep into his unconsciousness.

He opened his eyes again, gripping his katana in both hands. And struck with a restrained sigh down into the back, through the chest.

Sounds of screams and metal clashing against metal flooded into his system. He pulled the katana from the body, slashing downward to get rid of the dark red blood trickling down the blade made of steel.

Leonardo was about to run into the fray again when he heard a shout full of panic. He turned his head to the side. Keeping one eye on the battle before him. And on the person who called out to them from behind. Running at them like a manic while screaming.

"THE......AR.....H....RE.....!!!"

Leonardo's blood ran cold...

Norah had just fallen asleep when a scream of bloody murder tore through the camp.

Scaring the crap out of Norah, who fell out of her bed in shock.

She hurriedly stood back up while staggering towards the tent's entrance, "what the heck is going on!?"

She wanted to ask, but she already had her answer.

Crazy mutants stormed through the camp, slashing and destroying everything that came into their path.

Norah stood frozen stiff, watching with wide eyes as the mutants chased after the people. Some tried to fight them, but since almost all of the weapons were gone with the troops...

There wasn't much to fight with.

Norah trembled. What could she do? She was helpless...Couldn't even fight to save herself...

A roar shook her out of her trance, she stared straight into the scared eyes of a young boy, cowering in a corner, trying to hide from the mutants.

It snapped something within her when she saw a mutant stalking towards him.

Norah sprinted forward towards the boy, tackling him. 

The impact was just strong enough to knock herself and the boy a couple meters away from the mutant.

Norah looked down at the shivering boy beneath her, she quickly glanced over her shoulder, seeing the mutant stomp on the crate where the boy just had been hiding.

"Come on, we need to hide."

She whispers, grabbing his arm and pulling him into a random tent, leaning her back against the fabric of the tent trying to tell if a mutant went towards them.

"We have to warn the troops..."

Norah muttered to herself, looking back at the sobbing boy.

"Hey...are you okay?"

She softly asked, reaching out to touch his shoulder, he trembled, gasping for air as he shook his head.

"I-I'm scared....D-don't let them t-take me...!"

He sobbed. Norah's eyes widened for a fraction, before softly patting his head with a forced smile, she hoped it looked reassuring.

This felt all too familiar.

tears pricked at the corner of her eyes.

She couldn't utter any kind of assurance, so instead, she tried to be confident.

"Can you run fast?"

The boy gave her a confused look before nodding.

"We need to warn the troops. You have to run to the High-Ground and tell the leaders "They are here." Can you do that?"

Norah has never been so happy for her keen hearing, she remembered overhearing one of the captains speaking to the leaders about a code word, for if the camp were to be ambushed, and the troops were away.

The boy gave a soft nod, mumbling the message to himself a couple of times before looking at her with a determined expression.

Norah looked around for a moment, only now recognising the place they were located.

The kitchen.

There had to be something useful in here.

"Stay here for a moment."

Norah muttered, before searching through the cabinets and drawers for anything useful.

She only found five kitchen knives.

"Here, take this. You'll never know if you need this."

Norah handed the boy a knife, who took it and held it in his left hand a bit clumsily.

"As soon as the curtain's opened, you need to run as fast as you can,"

The boy looked at her with uncertainty, she grabbed his shoulders and softly squeezed reassuringly.

"Don't worry. I'll cover you..."

'For as long as I can...'

Norah yanked the fabric of the tent to the side, the boy ran not long after, Norah followed closely behind knives at ready.

The mutants saw it happening and went after them.

'Please...Please let this work...'

Norah let out a battle cry as she threw one of the four blades at the spider looking mutant.

It was as if time slowed down, watching as the dagger whizzed through the air, getting closer and closer to its target.

It felt like hours what was in reality only seconds before she could identify if she hit her target or not, she had only closed her eyes for but one second.

A muffled sound of something being buried deep inside something, a gasp and a splash of liquid hitting the floor.

Norah looked over her shoulder, feeling like she just won the jackpot.

The knife was stuck inside the chest of the spider looking monster, it fell down.

Struggling to grasp the remaining of its life, before the light in its eyes died.

Norah reached out her hand and pulled the boy to the side, the boy almost tripped, gathering his footing in the last second, Norah slashed with a yell across a mutant's face, who let out a scream and held its face in its weirdly two-fingered shaped hands.

Norah glared at it and struck one of the knives inside its head, ripping it out again and throwing it into the shoulder of a rodent-like mutant.

She didn't think, didn't hesitate. It just happened, striking down mutant after mutant with just three knives, like second nature.

She saw the boy run in the corner of her eyes, silently praying and wishing he would make it to the four leaders.

'Just got to keep them focused on me long enough...'

All kinds of scenarios ran through Leonardo's head, bad and worse, each had to do with death and ruin. 

His muscles screamed at him to stop, his lungs burned yet still he ran, the troops followed close behind him.

The leader in blue glanced briefly towards the boy, cradled in Donatello's arms.

The poor boy was exhausted, running such a long distance to warn them...

Leo could see Raph fuming in the corner of his eye, muttering harshly to himself. The turtle in blue could make out only a couple of words like 'Krang' and 'cowards'. He was blaming himself just as much as Leo did, maybe even more... He, after all, took great pride and responsibility to look after the order. He would never admit it, but he too knew he had a soft spot for the people he swore to protect. 

Secretly taking care of them without noticing, like a mother hen looking after someone else's chicks.

They reached the end of the camp, Leo's heart dropped to his stomach at the sight of a ruined camp; 

The ground, muddy and covered in red, the tents were in shambles, poles sticking through the cloth of the tents, the campfires had been destroyed. 

Everything was a mess.

Leo readied his katana, signalling to the others to spread out and take down the mutants.

 The three brothers followed him to the centre of the camp, where they found a display in front of them, they never thought they would see...

Norah was surrounded by mutant bodies on the ground, and she was taking on a big bear-like mutant by herself. Two flimsy knives in hands.

She was barely standing, but still, she kept going on, striking with one knife and blocking attacks from the mutant's claws with the other.

The girl before them let out a battle cry, twisting two claws downwards before plunging the other knife into the mutant's head when she pulled it in her direction.

Ending its life before anyone could even react.

Her whole body trembled as panted heavily, her chest rising and falling, with each deep, ragged breath.

Norah glanced behind her staring straight into the four leaders eyes without any emotion.

She looked...older as if any trace of the young, clumsy girl, just disappeared, vanished into thin air...

Gone was the timid child they once knew, and in their shoes stood a determined woman.

Leo took a step forward, before rushing forward in a panic as the woman before them, fell down, eyes rolled back into her head as she faded into unconsciousness...

*(*)*(*)*

Pain...everything...hurts...why...Why does everything hurt...?

Muffled voices mumbled into the void, she couldn't grasp what they were saying. Where was she anyway?

"......Sh.....eds....rest..."

A voice whispered.

....Rest...? I...I...I don't want to...

A blanket enveloped her senses, pulling her again into a calm slumber.

*(*)*(*)*

"Good morning sleepy head!"

A cheerful familiar voice echoed, stirring her softly from slumber.

A serious voice spoke up, "well, it's not actually moring, its actually noon..."

Norah slowly opened her eyes, with difficulty and stared straight into the baby blue eyes of the youngest leader, Michelangelo.

He grinned, "she's awake! At last!"

"Welcome back to the land of the living!"

Norah tried to slowly sit up to look around better.

"Was I gone then?"

She asked, looking around before she jumped when she heard a rustle in the corner.

"You almost were...But you came back to us."

The leader in blue said, a calm smile on his face as he took a seat next to her bed.

"What you did there, in the camp, was very courageous, thanks to you we could save most of our people."

Norah frowned, shaking her head. "I didn't do much...The boy warned you..."

Her eyes widened, "how is he doing!? He is fine, right?"

Raph nodded. "He's fine, don't ya worry."

She let out a relieved sigh, "that's good..."

"What's most important right now is that you get rest, you need it."

Leo stated, leaving no room for argument with the stern look he gave her.

Norah sighed, "fine...but, only if I can see the boy afterwards. I-I need to see how he's doing with my own eyes."

The four brothers looked at each other, Donatello shrugged, turning to Norah. "Deal, but first rest."

With that, the four leaders left the tent. A weight Norah didn't know she had, lifted off of her, leaving behind a feeling of content. She glanced at the roof of the tent.

'something changed, hasn't it...I hope that's it is for the better...'

I'm not sure if you would know but when do you think Loki's Main Route will come out?  I just finished Edgar's (🎉👏♥️😍😍) and I'm not sure if I should wait or if I should just play Jonah's route as if there is time.-I am going to guess around the end of Feb. Maybe the 20-22 since the new bonus stories end around that time XD Might be a few days before, but all the bonus stories will be released before the route is released I'm sure. OH! You can start a new route! Ikerev allows you to switch routes for free and it saves you spot on the old route! So whenever you want to go back, you don’t have to start all over again. I hope that helps!

Some of those prompts seemed a little assulty?? I'm sorry! E.g. kisses them to make them stop saying something; angry kisses (no consent...) -  These are prompts and not stories, so extrapolating saying its non-consensual is of your own imagination. “Angry kisses,” and “Stopping someone one from saying something with a kiss,” can be written a thousand different ways. Many of the prompts here have hundreds of different scenarios to be written around. However, If I write something, that is dub/con or non/con it will be tagged at the beginning of the fic so you can freely skip over it. :)
