For Metalsea, Eternal Eclipse (Thomas-Adam Habuda especially if I know right) is my ultimate choice for sure. Their Forgotten Odes album is already the one that is basically the main vibe inspo for the story, but I’d love to see what they’d do for it.

Pff, Darmon and Syon ship song for some reason? Yeah, most of the songs are goes for them recently, eh. Honestly the lyrics is kinda fits, but the vibe is just really them.

Dreamer

Okay, this one is one of my all time favorite, especially from Ozzy. I listen to this every winter lol. ANYWAY, this a great song for Cronyl and Bra'aka's bromance maybe. "After all, there's only just the two of us And here we are, still fighting for our lives Watching all of history repeat itself Time after time" This is definitely them as they both stand on the edge of their own societies, seeing them crumble. They both feel like the only ones whom can see through the stupid argument over differences and how little that actually matters in life.

Uh oh, you just chose my absolute fav thing. I can't write without having the perfect music for my WIP's (or whole playlists tbh, no question why I have like a thousand playlist on spotify), in fact, usually my story ideas come from lines from lyrics or whole songs (or mishearing something because I'm very big on that one lol).

For Project Metalsea is Brave New World by Kalandra is the one that represents it and the trailer song is Hidden Machinations by Eternal Eclips.

For IQRUS is Here We Stand by Hidden Citizen and SVRCINA is the one that represents and for the trailer is Shimmering Cities by Pawel Blaszczak.

Put the Gun Down

The lyrics is very much Cronyl from Metalsea, especially when he learns a little how to shoot when they arrive at Plotan, but also this actually has the vibes of a scene, when he and the plotanian human dude Izohr (who's a magic-gunslinger and his shooter teacher btw) gonna fight one another, because Izohr switches sides at the end. I actually mentioned this part of the story here very, very vaguely.

Middle of the Night

Darmon and Syon smut song for sure. I don't have a clue when would that happen considering Darmon being the ball of existential woe as he is, but still. I would imagine Syon having a vibe more like the song. Either way, a scene where both of them sleeping in separate rooms, but she sneaks into his and finds him equally wide awake and longing for her the whole time. Something like that. :D

You're gonna know my name is great too, but I had nothing that matches with the vibes heh.

Eh, I loved this ask anyways. Yes, I have, even if it's still under heavy development. But as we've discussed, it is what it is. Also, it's part of a big ass Metalsea spoiler (which at this point, after the portraits may not be a spoiler), but I want to share literally everyhting about my WIPs all the time, so :DD will leave here under a cut as usual.

Humans still exist in a secret place on Onidia. They're very advanced compared to the driadlin and the draar and they also has some technology too. They had access to some more of that strange metal that the Metalsea is made of, so they used it to build their city, Heloris and to experiment with it a little bit. They wanted to build weapons and power armors that can stand a chance towards the new races, because the ancestors were a kind of paranoid lot, always fearing the new folk will attack them someday. It was a great idea, they could built a lot of stuff, however, they couldn't use it. You see, humans can't do magic without a help of this rare kind of crystal that can contain it. So, they figured if they somehow transfer the magical energy into a metal power suit for example, then it should be capable of doing some cool stuff and power up. In theory. But it stayed that, theory, since even if they transfered the energy into the suit, it couldn't hold it and without that power, they couldn't move the thing.

So, there's a ton of these metal stuff in Heloris, thrown into the basement as failed experiments. And those may or may not will play a part in our team’s story.

That said, it’s very impressive humans could do stuff like this, because that metal can’t be shaped in the way as normal metals. Mortals can’t change it directly by melting into some other form or drilling into it. It wont melt, nor get damged by anything. However, they figured out through the years that they can convince the metal to change itself and with some guidence, it shapes into stuff they want to. So, um, yeah, hehe.

No sure if it makes sense, but I hope I could at least write it down a little bit understandable! This idea is still in the alpha phase hehe BUT THANK YOU FOR THE QUESTION ANYWAY!! ❤️

Also a little note just for you: never had a chance to mention yet, but one of Darmon’s eyes has been replaced with this magic container crystal so he can do magic. 🤭

Tune Tuesday

I'm late a bit I know lmao but in my heart everyday is Tune Tuesday, so. I'll go with a separate post, because I'm probably gonna write a lot and it's better that way then.

I'll also give some new songs at the end just to keep this going hehe

The Sound of Silence. This one gives me goosebumps every fucking time I listen to it and I love it. This song is also a tune for Adran, the big brother from IQRUS!

A lots of responsibility weighs his shoulders and some of them he took it upon himself voluntarily, but that doesn’t mean he can’t feel overwhelmed sometimes. But usually when he feels like that, he talks to (the IQRUS version is slightly different, but still) God and even though they never answers him personally, he feels better. However, when conflict comes upon conlict, God answers him the first time. Not gonna go too deep into it, because spoilers, but Adran’s head will be full of voices and whispers soon. I think you got an idea where this leads, but I’ll not spoil for now :D He slowly loses touch with his peers, his environment and his reality. From a point he just wants to find peace again. And in the end, when everything seems to fall apart, he will find it. For a moment, evertyhing will be clear again. He will find his peace and silence at last.

Man or a Monster. Definitely Darmon’s song!

When he faces the consequences of his action the first time is the one scene that came to my mind right away. He will look around in his environment with open eyes, seeing all the glossy eyes and empty faces he created through the years. He will walk faster among the “zombie-like” creatures. Every one of them awaits his order, not moving an inch by itself. Darmon feels sick. All the creatures, big, slender, draar, driadlin. They act the same when you rip their soul out. But it was for the right cause, right? He didn’t even know it won’t be reversible. Did he? No, he was very aware of that deep down and he still did it. At that point, he will reach the cages of the prisoners, and he needs to force himself to look at them. At the point ears, the too long arms and legs, the too slender or too bulky figures, at angry or frightened faces, at them whom curled into the corner of their cages, at… people. By the Three, they had souls to take and lives to fight for! He realises what he just did and then sees a kid too. He tries to change back whatever he did to her, but he just makes it worst and that’s when he losts it completely. He decides to free and warn the people (first time he calls them that) so they can save what’s left of the world from the monsters wearing the skin of men. Just like him. He also will learn some healing magic later on, so the "In your hands, there's a touch that can heal / But in those same hands, is the power to kill" line is just perfect for him.

All The King’s Man. This song is one of my all-time fav and I wrote a little novella for it in the past, but now with a different association, this one is also a Darmon song lol.

There's an event in Metalsea that will upset the world order and everything will change very drastically and fast. Some people even go kind fo nuts at some point and one of them will be Prince Urien who wanted to marry one of the MC's but couldn't because she ran away. So, when this event happens, Prince Urien kills his father to make himself a king and takes Syonehlia (the MC that ran away and Darmon's love interest) as a hostage to make her his Queen. Then Darmon finds himself in prison with every citizen of Evalon. He’s cluless about what’s the Prince’s twisted plan or motives, but he won’t sit in a cell while innocent people are imprisoned and Syon is in danger. He manages to free everyone from prison, however, the newly crowned King Urien has half an army of corrupted creatures with him that attackes them right away. Innocents die, while Syonehlia struggles to escape Urien’s grip. This overwhelms Darmon, he sees the product of his actions (because he created these corrupted creatures) and while he despises the idea, he uses his dark magic one last time and goes berserk. With feather light steps and seemingly choreographed gestures, he butchers the corrupts alone, barely keeping himself together. The shadows and whispers call him to join them, so when he’s on the doorstep of losing himself completely, he somehow wakes up from the dangerous haze.

A great day again! New songs for you guys at the end of this post.

But before that, here is what I've got from the lovely @jacquesfindswritingandadvice! ❤️

Dancing With Your Ghost. As soon as I’ve finally pushed the Antor x Edrei images into the back of my mind and I could concentrate on my story, I’ve got some cute little scene with the two siblings (maybe twins not sure yet) Syonehlia and Avelyn with their parents. I also imagined this as more like a scene from a movie than something I'd write lol.

They both leave their home without a word, so their parents, especially their father, Listan [might changing name] is very confused by that at the beginning. However, as the story is developing, he slowly gets to understand their reason while he faces the consequences of the girls absence basically alone. And the girls think through what they left their parents to deal with too. So, when the summer solstice festival happens, it brings a bittersweet homsickness with itself, since Syon and Avelyn always danced with their parents on the main square as kids. There is a festival also where they are at that moment, but even though they slowly dancing with their soon-to-be partners or just spending time with them, they miss their home they've left behind. As the night and the celebration calms down, Avel and Syon finds themselves craving for each other presence, so they start to dance slowly. They never hated each other, but they also never were best friends. Both has very different personality, so they always kept their ditance and watched each other from a comfortable space. Rarely hugged each other, or run to the other one to tell her something exciting happened. However, this time, they embrace each other, talking about father and mother, their childhood and their differences. They joke and say sorry for acting like strangers sometimes, but also thank you for being there for each other even then. And, in this same moment, their parents do the same at home, missing their little girls too.

Locked. Well, this is a very sexy song which why I love it that much, but I do not have sexy scenes in my story (yet?). However if it would be, I think Darmon and Syon would have one.

After Darmon basically offers his ability to do magic and his life on golden plate to King Urien, so he can save the innocent people and Syon from his twisted plans, Syon is definitely ready to go all over this man. Not because she needed saving whatsoever (she was handeling the situation just well), but beacuse this act shows the first time clearly how much Darmon has changed since she met him. And for the better. He also meets Syon's father in the prison, among the innocents the King just captured and when they get free, Syon finds his kind of rigid father to be a softie over things she wanted to convince him for years. Just because Darmon talked to him a lot while they were captured. So, yeah, I think this is the point where their first kiss happens too, but I'm not sure. That could be a heated scene, even though Darmon would be probably confused at the first. Not like the cutie confusion, but more like a whispering on a low voice "Are you sure?" kind of confusion. They are that couple whom totally aware of their attraction towards each other, so the only thing that holds them back is the fact they need to stop the world to fall apart before they can focus on relationshiping.

Live Like Legends. Oh, definitely epic fight at the end vibes.

Darks clouds gather over the lands, shielding the light from the poeople. The corrupts slowly emerge from behind the hill-side, showing an enormous number of soulless puppets. Troghrun is somewhere at the front, not visible until they march closer and when finally everyone can see him clearly, he stops the army with only one small gesture. They stop without a flicker of an unnecessary movement, standing in dead silent. Cronyl and the others are ragged, tired, sorrounded by dead bodies of brave people and the quiet sobs or growls of the injured. They look around, then, steal a glance from each other and without hesitance, they line up againts the corrupts too as the last thread of hope of their known world.

Damn it got very long again. And I didn't even included everything heh.

And if I'm gonna be honest, I'm obsessed with this song recently. Mostly because it reminds me of Darmon and Syonehlia's relationship from Metalsea. The lyrics is such Darmon vibes and the singers voice is what I kinda imagine for Syon. I was listening to this while writing this piece. I'm not sure if I want to made a lot of Darmon content now because of this song, or I love this song because the lovely friends around her became very interested in Darmon and this happened to be the best song for him.
