(sarcasm) Good guy!Carnage--leaves victim alive, stands up for disabled rights (/sarcasm)
What's wrong Cletus? Is someone feeling a little funky lonely after being trapped in a coma?
Also he clearly has a thing for brunettes with earrings.

Recently because I was bored I decided to try and find counterparts for all the justice league members with DC characters. I got a good start on it, but I did manage to miss some characters. Still, I want to share what I have. So, my counterparts for the seven founders of the Justice League (besides superman and green lantern, i haven't gotten to them yet) are: Nighthawk (Batman), Sif (Wonder Woman), Quicksilver (The Flash), Namor (Aquaman) and Silver Surfer (Martian Manhunter).
I'm still trying to think of a superman and green lantern counterpart. But the five characters I have thought of are all great characters. And the funny thing is: I find Nighthawk, Quicksilver and Namor way cooler than their DC counterparts. Nighthawk is ten times cooler than Batman, despite being a much less well known character! It's a disgrace! Although Silver Surfer and Martian Manhunter are both amazing. I could probably read a book about those two working together, honestly. They're just so cool!

Watching Fantastic 4 (2015) just to check if it's as a bad as everybody say and... let's put it this way it's not my favorite.
My main issue is the fact that after they got their powers the interactions between the four is minimum to say the least and since my favorite trope is found family that influenced my opinion of the movie. I think I enjoyed more seeing them build that machine the only thing missing there is Ben.

The fantatic 4 is the silliest superhero team ever. It feels like their powers were made up by an excitable 5 year old.
One of them cant live in humanity without being a big old freak. One of them got nepotism powers and is using it for his advantage to get more money and women. One of them is a #shygirl who's mostly just a plot device :( . And the other one is a little scientist that likes to use his powers to dance and do cool perspective tricks around machines
And they fight a guy called doctor doom. Why do they keep trying to make an edgy fantastic 4 they're fucking ridiculous

Timeless (Vol. 3/2023), #1.
Writers: Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly; Penciler and Inker: Juann Cabal; Colorist: Edgar Delgado; Letterer: Travis Lantham
#Marvel#Marvel comics#Timeless vol. 3#Timeless 2023#Timeless#Moon Knight comics#latest release#Power Man#Luke Cage#Khonshu#and this is not a compliment for that blasted overblown seagull but rather Mr. Cabal’s work because despite my dislike of the character#I /do/ really like this «Celestial Khonshu» design as he gets all fancy and tries to recruit his own Silver Surfer#to completely swerve to a more philosophical note#and one that may make more sense when you see exactly what happens to the trash bird (turn back now if uninterested#in discussions of portrayals of G-d in contemporary media…and yes even I’m wondering why I’m doing this#in the tags of a comic book panel post so in general just don’t mind me hahaha):#I get why some people are rankled when characters use language asserting themselves to be G-d#particularly when the authorial intent is clearly to comment on the nature of a singular all-powerful all-loving Ruler and Judge of creatio#and it’s…not always benevolent but perhaps even mocking (it never feels good when people don’t want to discuss/question/#interact in good faith with something that people have devoted their entire lives to but instead just want to jeer.#To reiterate everyone’s definitely entitled to any qualms they might have about belief systems and religious institutions#and how those entities have traditionally treated groups of peoples for example#but a willingness to discuss those legitimate concerns and how to move beyond them just might be more constructive than#making strawmen to mock entire demographics and what’s important to them)#ANYWAY all this to say there are times however where I’ve seen monotheists not even be bothered by attempts at mockery#because those attempts can be flipped around into comments of «gee yeah we sure are lucky that G-d doesn’t have those#human flaws you gave Him in your strawman representation!»#like….Khonshu the absolutely craven despicable manipulative power-grabber committing a little blasphemy here just makes it all the more#satisfying when a singular man blasts a hole through that bird’s bony chest#if you’re anything less than the humanly unobtainable ideal of absolute perfection and declare yourself above all…you’re going down HARD

Bob Iger pointing out that people don't really know what the word 'woke' means even when being critical of Disney's films...really is the defintion off 'heartbreaking: the worst person you know just made a great point'.

You know, the Original Defenders vs the Original Avengers have one thing in common: The Hulk. Only difference is: Hulk stayed with the Defenders. He never stayed with the Avengers. But even besides that, I just prefer the original Defenders. The Hulk? Namor? Silver Surfer? Doctor Strange? (She was added later, but) Valkyrie? Those are all such cool characters. They're all very fun!
But the Avengers original lineup is nowhere near as good. I mean, Iron Man? The guy whose comics were regularly about this rich industrialist battling the filthy commies? He's just not very fun to read about in the early days. And I can accept some cold war stuff, but his stories are so blatant! He's rich and he even once best a villian by tricking them into defecting (with the crimson dynamo). He's not great. And I mean, Ant-Man/Giant-Man is okay (if maybe a tiny bit dull on his own sometimes). I mean, Thor is the only original Avenger I really like. So the Defenders win by virtue of having more characters I like.
