Every once in a while I have to step back to try and comprehend the immense disrespect the latest marvel phases have had for Stephen Strange.

The amount of times they accuse him of shit he hasn't done and try to paint him as the bad guy is insane.

Canonically, he spent years dying in the timeloop with Dormammu, and he physically lived through every possible timeline just to find one where Thanos was stopped. He's sacrificed a million and one things for the world at large.

Sure, he's snarky, and not always humble, but he's definitely not some selfish world ending asshole like Multiverse of Madness and No Way Home try to make him out to be.

I really don't know what Marvel is trying to pull, but it's not sitting right with me.

I had read SON OF ORIGINS OF MARVEL COMICS at my local library, but I was happy to have my own copy to go back to and review. So... in the comics.... Stephen is married to Clea, who is the daughter of Umar, and Umar is Dormammu's sister. Well, Doyle from Strange Academy is Dormammu's son, which technically makes him Stephen's.. cousin?

So Stephen Strange is married to a villainess's daughter, teaching his cousin at Strange Academy, and arch-nemesis to his uncle.

Those Christmases are going to be awkward as fuck
