Danny held up a large sign from the background like a man at an airport as thier leader, Robin, gave his report to this "Justice League". The first sign said, "Help! I'm surrounded by daddy issues!" Earning a laugh from someone off camera. He then pulled the next card out from behind the first one.

"Can you send air fresheners? It smells like teen angst in here"

This one got a cackle from someone on the Justice League side of things. Score. No one here really wants to laugh. They're all edgelords and Danny is suffering. He didn't really want to be here, but things in Amity had ended in a way he never expected.

Both he and his parents had been arrested.

Not by his worlds government, mind you, but by the government of another Earth. This Earth that he was currently on to be more accurate. Who knew that so much of the stuff he and his parents had been doing was super illegal and wouldn't ya know it? He was in the middle of doing something really sketchy looking in his parents lab when the feds busted in.

Thankfully, the Justice League presented him with a deal: they take him out of Juvie and the reformation program he was in, and in return, he joins a team of former teen/child villains and anti-heros.

Figuring he had nothing to lose at this point he agreed.

He was not expecting to be surrounded by angry angsty teens. His fault really. He should have known better. Thankfully it seems like nobody knows about Phantom and he'd like to keep it that way.

Psaro was his calm in the storm. The other boy was proud and almost as arrogant as Robin, but he had been proven to be very kind and reliable. If Danny ever needed advice or if Robin was getting a bit too much, he could just knock of Psaros door.

The last time Robin had a fit and was starting a fight with someone, Mr. Pointy ears stepped up and told Robin that his outburst was undignified, especially for someone of a higher class like Robin seems to be presenting himself as. He also said something about there being a big difference between a king and a tyrant, but Danny had been trying to rush Robin's victim to the medway and didn't hear all of the convo.

Psaro was some kind of half demon prince who was also from another world. He didn't have a superhero name yet, but the program was brand new, and to be fair, Danny didn't officially have one either.

Some lady called Raven was supposed to be coming in to help Psaro and convince him to embrace his human half and help him with magic and...something about a curse? What did Danny get himself into???

Marrying you is the best thing that’s ever happened to Thomas. Well, that’s a lie, actually – anything involving you, from your first meeting to your first date to your engagement to everything, is the best thing that has happened to him and will happen to him. But when he said that he would never part from you unless one of you died, he hadn’t expected your death to come so suddenly. No, he thought – dreamt – that you would live happily together well into your old age, before passing away peacefully next to each other. So, when he gets the phone call from the hospital informing him that you had been in an accident, Thomas’ world stops moving. It’s as if a part of him has crumpled to dust, leaving nothing but traces of your memories.

But somehow, he’s able to go through the motions of preparing for your funeral, despite his body feeling like an empty husk of a person.

It’s only when your funeral is over that Thomas has an epiphany. Death doesn’t have to separate you two. Oh, no. So, in the dead of night, Thomas goes to the graveyard. He pulls out your coffin, before pulling your corpse out. You’re still so beautiful even after death, almost like you’re sleeping. No, you are sleeping. Thomas will find a way to wake you up. With that thought, he cleans up the graveyard perfectly so that no one is aware about your corpse’s disappearance.

Thomas soon goes back to his normal life, at least in the public eye. While parading a mask of perfect normalcy in front of others, Thomas secretly begins his experiments. He’s nothing if not a scientist, so it’s really not that difficult for him to lock himself in his lab for hours upon hours. He perfectly preserves your body for the day he’ll finally have the knowledge to bring you back. It’s not an easy process and he has to start small, but after decades of work, he’s close to having you back.

Yes, he’ll have you back soon. Not even death can keep you from him.

Accidental Villain Lair Acquisition

Team Phantom fleed Amity after a bad run with GIW. They found themselves in Gotham, then proceed to discover some interesting things underneath the city.

There is a natural spring of ectoplasm, for one. Not as pure as realms quality, but beggers choosers and whatever.

Then there's the messed up group of enthralled liminals too.

In other words, the court of owls are not having a good time at all. And Team Phantom accidentally become the new court. Yay...?

Bonus:

Danny:if I get a penny every time I gained the right to rule by rite of conquest, I'll have two. Which isn't a lot but... Why the fudge does this keep happening???

It all started when Damian chose Bruce over her, and Talia, while never admitting it, was massively depressed about it. Imagine her surprise as this tiny astronaut-dressed child tried to cheer her up, and that was how she met the rest of the Fenton's later.

But somehow that led to Talia joining a polycule with Jack and Maddie.

It had been a Maddie's idea, and that was how Danny and Jasmine got a new mother.

Jack was like how her EX-BELOVED always was before public; but he really was a loving Himbo.

Even Ra likes Jack much more than Bruce; this husband of his daughter didn't even once try to change her views.

Ra liked Maddie, Danny, and Jasmine too.

Maddie tried to kill him the moment she saw him the first moment, that alone shows she can protect each other and family.

Danny liked his sword mom, and Jazz liked to talk with her too.

For. Talia: This was life; she had a good relationship, and they let her help her father, not like Bruce was against it.

So she was having a second home stay in Amity Park with her Mad Scientist husband and wife and step children.

She was teaching Danny how to read the stars and Jazz how to use a sword.

The Crime Lord does not stop flirting with me!

When Danny ran away from home and ended up in Gotham he wasn't quite sure what to do, adrenaline was coursing through his veins and all he wanted was a place to be safe.

That's when Crime Alley lit up like a Christmas tree and Danny knew it could be his new home, something about Crime Alley was drawing him in. It wasn't long before he decided to get a job to lay low. Of course, the latter was a bust because Red Hood noticed him almost instantly.

Contrary to his expectations, the Crime Lord took an interest in him but said nothing. He simply asked him to repair his motorcycle like a normal customer in his new job. Danny did and well, he couldn't help but repair some damaged systems and add some modifications. He hoped he wasn't stepping out of line, he just couldn't help himself, it was second nature to repair damaged things.

He thought Red Hood would be angry about it but the man seemed delighted (or as delighted as he could look with the mask), he looked at Danny and asked him what else he could do. Nervously, he told him that he was somewhat good with technology and before he knew it he had been hired by a gang (more or less, they were just asking for some custom orders).

So, technically he established as the mechanic and supplier to the Hood gang, and more specifically to the Crime Lord himself. He gave Hood some upgrades and became his supplier of (mostly harmless) weapons and upgrades. This attracted the attention of most of the gangs that were against the Crime Lord and Batman himself.

Jason, noticing how nervous the guy was assured him that he would protect him and no one was going to hurt him as long as he was around, it was obvious he wasn't from Gotham. For some reason, his new employee blushed every time he said those words.

Danny didn't know if Red Hood understood what he was doing (That was totally a flirt for protection spirits!), every day it was getting harder and harder not to respond to him. His ghost side kept screaming that he got a good match!

Which was technically true, considering that Red Hood had promised him protection and let him stay in his haunt (it became obvious that Crime Alley was his haunt after a few days in Gotham but strangely it accepted him)

Jason continued to promise Danny that he would be safe (poor boy always looked nervous) and Danny wondered how many days he could take the blatant flirting.

You don't need to believe that people as a whole are good or well-intentioned to be an optimist about fixing climate change.

A lot of the time, it's enough to trust in this: people hate being screwed over. And even more than that, they hate feeling screwed over.

Climate change is actively screwing over almost every single person on this planet, whether they know it or not. We just need to keep making sure that people do know that they're getting screwed over, along with all their loved ones, and who's doing it.

Spite and righteous anger will honestly do a lot of the rest.
