Therapy was yesterday. Spent most of it venting and didn’t get to do any EMDR unfortunately.
I went on a run today. It was cool and overcast but not rainy, which is the perfect weather imo.

hippie pandora this, divine vision plagued/blessed pandora that— THIS WOMAN LITERALLY DID NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT HER SILLY LITTLE EXPERIMENTS. i know ppl love to make her out as the soft girl, the one in colorful clothes, bearing happy smiles, speaking encouraging words in soft tones. the glue of the group that holds her boys together and is the most empathetic of the bunch. *WRONG BUZZER NOISE* pandora literally didnt care enough about a literal racially(?) motivated War going on to pick a side. she’s like one of those people that don’t go vote!! T-T she’s privileged and she KNOWS and she doesn’t let her close family do Shit to jeopardize that ‘just to help others’. pandora is very selfish and egotistical! she probably rolled around in her grave when she saw luna befriend harry and help fight in the war. maybe she would be proud at last (once they won!) but mostly i think she probably would have liked to trottle her daughter and lock her in a room where she’s safe. pandora probably wasn’t that good of a person if we’re being real. she was possibly unsafe about her spell innovations, she was a mastermind and a maniac. pandora was a unbelievably talented witch and she actively chose to not be of help in a war. she was a horrible and i looooveee her for it. in this house we support women’s wrongs!!!!!! dont rob her of it<3

Psalms 139:1-6 (NLT). [1] “O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. [2] You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. [3] You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. [4] You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. [5] You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. [6] Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!”
“Sunday Reflection: God’s Love for Us” By In Touch Ministries:
“God understands the depth of our brokenness, but that doesn't change His love for us.”
“If you knew every thought people had about you—or if they knew your thoughts about them—how long would those relationships last? Thankfully, God isn’t limited in this way, even though He knows everything about us, not just our thoughts (Psalm 139:4). He hears each word and sees our most private actions. And though He alone knows the full extent of our brokenness, His love for us persists like an unquenchable fire.
Acknowledging our brokenness before God changes the way we think about our own sin—and His love for us in spite of it. It causes us to grieve, not only for ourselves but also for the sins of the world. Yet we should remember Jesus didn’t just mourn sin; He conquered it. And He invites us to pursue something more than this world can offer: the greatest love of all.”

"Nineteen Eighty-Four was not supposed to be an instruction manual."
Yet so much Orwell's writings ring true today. Big Brother Watch is determined to make Nineteen Eighty-Four fiction again.

"Some books are missing. —Minitrue"
Tumblr media
Author's comment:
"Alright so, i know i'm supposed to be on break but something really horrible happened. For those who don't know: Due to the Internet Archive losing Hachette v Internet Archive case, many books has been removed by publishers, this includes many dystopian books like 1984, Brave new world and, unironically, Fahrenheit 451. So, if you have any digital copies of these books, KEEP THEM SAFE! And if you have a physical copy, KEEP IT SAFE ASWELL!"

why does every article reporting on idf war crimes go "hamas, who started the war on october 7th with their brutal terrorist attack slaughtering innocent israeli civilians, has condemned the idf's use of-"? like, nearly verbatim every single time. we know about october 7th. we know by now. half the time, hamas isnt even relevant but they gotta find some way to sow doubt and numb any potential compassion responses. will you get fired if you show sympathy for murdered palestinian civilians without first adding a disclaimer saying its all their fault for being born in gaza? if you call "palestinians under 18" children? if you use the words "murdered" or "brutal" or "massacre" for acts that didnt occur on october 7th? if you call a spade a spade? why are israeli reports front page news without proper fact-checking but palestinian reporting is always "allegedly" even when theres video evidence? why does the idf not get the hamas treatment of reminding everyone that theyre biased before treating their words as law, like they havent been caught bold-faced lying again and again?
#soooooo fucking infuriating#'palestinians are allegedly starving but thats what hamas (who are savage terrorists in case you forgot) said as well so who knows?'#'idf soldiers are allegedly bragging about and showing pictures and videos of their war crimes on social media but#its not in english so we may never know what theyre saying. palestinian ''civilians'' are translating so whatever they say must be wrong'#'in other news. heres what ''doctors'' are referring to as a ''calendar'' but is written in arabic (terrorist language) so the idf must be#telling the truth when they say its proof they are all evil and must in some nebulous way suddenly stop living'#to be fair. the 'secret hamas names list disguised as calendar but REALLY about oct 7' shit was the target of skepticism quite early on#but it really does show how often the idf lies to justify obvious war crimes#maybe they should provide verified evidence or even just be given a bias disclaimer before printing their claims as fact???#every single fucking death toll is phrased as 'hamas-run ministry of health reports death toll of x' like?#yeah? thats their fucking government? what else do you expect?#you do understand that the healthcare portion of their government is probably more reputable#than what the phrasing of those headlines are obviously trying to imply?#i understand that bias is still possible there but its not armed combatants making shit up#its doctors who receive govt paychecks doing their best to identify the disfigured bodies not buried under rubble#youre not slick with that wording

I know its really no secret by now that we're gonna be fighting a new faction soon, but it's funny to see how Helldivers 2 is preparing players via propaganda.
Official announcement (in game from the Ministry of Truth) saying "Its not that Super Earth hates aliens, its that aliens hate freedom!"
Currently, we're fighting bugs and bots with very strict terminology and name use around them, so the fact they would say "aliens" doesn't really feel like a mistake.

I’m realizing something about Helldivers, and how a lot of people are begging for inclusivity with pride capes and stuff like that.
We don’t need that. The “Helldiver” is already the most inclusive thing we could ask for. No skin color, no identifying traits, no extra vernacular. Just armor, guns, and each other.
Sure, we could do with more voices and some extra personalities in the current voices, but behind the armor is *you*. Your diver could be whatever you want beneath your helmet.

Does anyone remember? Back in 2016 the fascist government of the Ukraine began a program to dox any journalist who stepped out of line
I will follow up to this post with the URL but here's a quote from one 2016 story on the topic:
"The website that leaked the personal data is called Mirotvorets (Peacekeeper). It purports to be fighting separatism and terrorism and publishes personal data of anyone its contributors consider enemies of Ukraine. Mirotvorets was founded in January 2015 by Georgy Tuka, who now serves as a deputy to the minister responsible for dealing with rebel-held areas and refugees. Among its high-ranking supporters is Anton Gerashchenko, an MP and aide to the interior minister. The website’s partners include the Security Service of Ukraine and the country’s Interior Ministry."
Biden is senile.

Psalm 119:9-16 (NLT). [9] “How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word. [10] I have tried hard to find you— don’t let me wander from your commands. [11] I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. [12] I praise you, O Lord; teach me your decrees. [13] I have recited aloud all the regulations you have given us. [14] I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches. [15] I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways. [16] I will delight in your decrees and not forget your word.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV). [16] “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, [17] so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
“Wandering From the Word” By In Touch Ministries:
“The Bible is our most reliable source of information and inspiration for living.”
“Imagine a man has bought his grandchildren a new toy. After a brief glance at the directions, he sets the booklet aside and gets busy building. A few frustrating hours later, he humbly opens the instructions again and follows the steps to put the toy together. Soon he is done, and the grandkids are playing happily.
The grandfather knew that the manufacturer had a plan for assembling the toy, but he assumed he could figure it out on his own. Many of us approach Scripture the same way. Instead of treating God’s Word like a manual to live by, we’ll glance at it only when we’re at a loss over what to do next.
The Bible teaches believers who God is, what He thinks, and how He acts. Knowing the ways of the Lord ensures that we can make wise decisions that honor Him. The Bible is also God’s instruction book for living (2 Timothy 3:16-17). In today’s passage, we read that if a person wants to be righteous, his or her life must comply with scriptural principles (vv. 9-10)—and the only way to do that is to read, study, and meditate on the Word.
God’s Word is a possession of supreme value. Among the Bible’s riches are stories teaching us how to serve the Lord and live in a way that honors Him. It contains a wealth of instruction for building a righteous and meaningful life.”

I think one of the worst parts about TikTok Newspeak is that a lot of the euphemisms they come up with for demonetized topics are completely uncreative and illiterate, and on top of that incredibly inappropriate/contemptuous towards the subject matter in question.
I mean like, "sewer slide" instead of suicide? "PDF file" and "child corn" instead of pedophile or CP? I'm going to fucking kill you and your kindergarten-ass euphemisms for evil things that literally ruin and end lives.
It's literally not even that hard to come up with respectful, monetization safe alternatives either. Pull out a dictionary or thesaurus and use one of the tens of thousands of words that exist (in the English language specifically, and there's other languages in the world too). Like god you don't even need to get that creative with it. I listen to a reddit narration channel that uses respectful, accurate, mature alternatives like just saying "child offender" or "ending him/herself" and it still sucks that monetization is controlling online discussion so much, but at least some people are using substitutes that still have an appropriate amount of seriousness for the subject matter at hand. Jeez.

It’s funny the people who most often misattribute the socialist George Orwell’s ‘Nineteen Eighty-Four’ to anything they don’t like.
They use it as a boogeyman for cultural, demographic and social changes. All while they’re the ones trying to change/erase history.
1984 was all about changing/erasing history as a means of control under a totalitarian and fascist technostate.
That was the whole ass point of the narrative!
