Transits/Astro forecast: hope everyone had a nice productive time last week! to put it simply, i just finished up a free coursera course i bookmarked back in 2019. it was serious for me last week. we’re shifting focus this week to past cycles we are ready to release and dream worlds we are looking to build. as we know- current rxs are chiron, saturn, uranus, neptune (topical this week!), pluto (back into capricorn One Last Time).

we have the lunar eclipse/full moon in pisces, lots of retrograde outer planet/sun contacts, and the start of libra season this week. Fall Has Arrived. i find it poetic how the autumnal equinox is always the start of libra season and one of the two days each year where the hours of daylight are exactly equal to the hours of night/darkness. balance. anyway, this week's motto is something like "why can't i do the thing i've been wanting to do?". notice all the ways you've subconsciously held yourself back. you're ready to let those go now. also, please let yourself rest this week when you're tired. this feels like it could get exhausting.

tuesday 9/17 - lunar eclipse/full moon in pisces loosely conjunct neptune - could be some crazy dreams this week. so begins another eclipse season (until early october's solar eclipse). general vibe here is Lots of Feelings, rapid change, fated events. plot building moments. last eclipse featuring pisces was late february 2017, something going on back then could be coming back up now. neptune along with this piscean energy is likely to create distortions and emotional turbulence - let yourself ride the wave before coming to any big decisions. new chapters will emerge from what you'll be releasing this week, just give yourself time to process.

wednesday 9/18 - mercury opposite saturn rx - fight that inner critic!!!!!! you've worked really hard this year. and in life overall. you know the distortions are not truths and mistakes are allowed.

thursday 9/19 - sun trine uranus rx - the world loves your quirks and things you think you have to hide. that one person who insulted you in middle school doesn't know anything about you. come back!

sunday 9/22 - sun enters libra/autumnal equinox, venus square pluto, venus enters scorpio - wowwww lots of shifting this whole week. libra and beauty/charm/grace enter the room first, then a whole bunch of plutonian energy comes in to get us thinking about what we realllly want. this is almost halfway between the eclipses as well, so many of us will be really feeling these Fated Events TM. deep relationship conversations/internal feelings emerging. this might be a day for that Self Love......

as i write this, there is a gorgeous grand trine between the moon, venus, and jupiter. beautiful, free flowing and loving energy after a lot of really self critical and harsher aspects lately. if i were one of the ig spirituality influencer girls, i'd call this "yummy" energy. this along with the Empress in reverse as the card of the week tells me there's such a need for unconditional self love this week. the kind of love you mentally reserve for a soulmate, the dedication and passion - give yourself some of that! going into libra season, remember that you are a major component in your partnerships, not an afterthought. love you, divas. you deserve the world.

Autumn Equinox aka Mabon or 2nd Harvest if you're pagan 

Can you feel that energy coming in? It's the time of year when the sun crosses the equator and the light and dark are balanced. Equinox, Latin for equal night. It's a transitional energy, 1 of the 4, that we connect our consciousness to. During both autumn and spring equinox and summer and winter solstice these are the 4 focal points that the Sun comes into contact with and our seasons change. This is a time to harness the energy of nature and look within. A time to refocus, reset, and rebalance our inner selves. Align yourself with the cycles of nature to harness its power. 

We slowly start moving into darker days (lighter & warmer for our friends in the southern hemisphere!) and weather starts to cool off & the leaves begin to change colors! We're going to be stepping into cardinal energy which also means we're moving into Moon season! This is a wonderful time to start to get cozy with your Moon sign energy. The Moon represents our emotions, instincts, intuition, and subconscious. It can provide valuable insight into our inner world. With all these energies coming in this is a wonderful time to do a release ritual or a gratitude ritual. Creating a physical ritual, small or large, to give thanks to mother nature and your harvest, so to speak. Get prepared for not only the change of seasons, but for the upcoming full moon in Aries (9/29) the Harvest Moon, and a solar eclipse(10/14) in Libra in couple weeks! So much energy to work with, it's very exciting! 

This season is all about balance. Balancing the light with dark. A time to look within, but not quite yet the time to go hibernate lol. Libra season wants you to continue to socialize, but it's also the time to move forward and prepare for colder, darker days. 

There are many types of rituals you can perform or things to do for Autumn Equinox. This can also be done during the full moon and you can celebrate both at the same time if time is a factor. 

Here's some rituals and things to look into to celebrate:

●Light a candle, put your Crystals around you and meditate 🧘‍♀️ meditation closer to the time of the equinox would be more beneficial, but being that it's at 2:50 am est is understandable that you cannot lol 

●Light incense, a candle,  spread your crystal's and journal your release or what you're grateful for from the summer season. 

●Cook a big meal with nutritional food for you, your family and even friends, prep for Thanksgiving(if you're in Canada hand 2nd!😉)

●Have a bonfire with your family and/or friends

●Go apple 🍎 picking or to fall festival

●Set up an autumn 🍂 altar, decorate it with things from nature that you've collected and fall colors. 

●Go take a walk in nature and do some reflecting

●Watch the sunset and give thanks once the sun goes down

●Go to the beach and speak your release and cleanse yourself in the ocean

Really the sky is the limit, just don't forget to thank nature and the universe for all it provides. I also want to add that if you're sensitive to the solar and lunar energies, like myself, check into upcoming transits for the equinox, the full moon and more importantly both of the eclipses, so that way you're prepared for that potent energy. Happy Solstice, new moon, and solar eclipse my fellow stargazers. I’m sure all of you can cut this potent celestial energy with a knife. Throw in Mercury’s quarterly retrograde and there’s no doubt your chakras are on overdrive right now.  The second half of 2020 has major transformational energy coming our way. Full Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius: Making Changes

The Full Moon Eclipse is on June 5th in the sign of Sagittarius which seems scary and fitting. Sagittarius is represented by the archer who enjoys seeking the truth through justice, philosophy and the law. This Gemini Season has made us see the power of words through social media. Hashtags that have brought awareness to situations. Information is being shared at lightning speed, forcing folks to read and listen. The speed that we are communicating is incredible, but it can also be a little overwhelming for many. The first week this month will be INTENSE as the themes for most of the days will be about protecting our values, re-evaluating our truths and philosophies, inciting change and cutting away old beliefs that are no longer needed. This energy is the massive tidal wave build up of energy I foresaw last week with the first quarter moon. Collectively these transits have a lot to say with the protests going on and collective disdain for the government and authority. Energy: Today's vibe will feel like when you need to match up your sock drawer but a lot of socks are not matching and it may feel a bit frustrating. Energy: Today will feel like a start of change (hopefully positive revolution?) with areas focusing on the community, our homes (like where we feel safe and secure) and within our emotions. The moon will create some oppositions today with Eros, Uranus and Psyche in Taurus inspiring change and surprises. With Moon opposite Uranus our personal lives can undergo sudden changes and surprises which may make us feel out of control. On the collective scale we may see changes that may influence how society feels. However the way we react can dictate whether or not the outcome of change is positive or not. It's important to take note on this day to not do anything too impulsive or else it may make a jenga collapse after effect that we might have not been expecting. With the moon opposite Eros we may discover something enticing that can incite our passions and drive. This ignition can also bring up the impulse to try something new which could also add to the Moon opposite Uranus energy. With Moon opposite Psyche external influences may make us either feel inspired to re-align with our soul purpose or feel like hiding from adversity. We may be faced with a dilemma today that may make us question our life path but this encounter can help us level up if we choose not to back away. There will be some harmonious energy with the Moon in Scorpio trining Mercury in Cancer and trining Ceres and Mars in Pisces. Our heads, hearts and fists will be harmoniously aligned as we will have the drive to create positive change that can benefit ourselves to feel safe, nurtured and secured on a personal level and create revolution that can bring security, stability, compassion and justice on a community level. Energy: Today's energy will feel like positive change in the form of inner transformation and owning up to personal responsibilities. The moon still in Scorpio will make positive sextiles with Pluto rx and Jupiter rx in Capricorn which can help us evaluate which inner beliefs, deeply buried emotions and personal philosophies are good for us or no longer serve us and allow for positive self transformation on a deep level. With the moon sextiling Sappho we can have the opportunity to channel our genuine interests and beliefs and embody them. That window of time will create a subtle urge or portal where we can pull that energy into our lives to allow us to be our most authentic selves and choose the path that is the most genuine to our being. After the moon's void of course (a good time for reflection and straightening out your personal space both physically and metaphorically), the moon will enter optimistic Sagittarius entering it's full moon phase. Though it's not quite yet the full moon, the energy will start to feel very heightened here, Especially in expansive Sagittarius. The moon will sextile Saturn rx in Aquarius helping us to tackle any tasks, especially those neglected or procrastinated on with responsibility and patience. Also tasks to help us in the long term or help the collective may come to your attention today and you may have the energy to work on them.

Recommendations: With a lot of positive sextiles with the outer planets, doing some shadow work would be beneficial today. Energy: WOW so today's theme screams CHANGE, REVOLUTION, TIME FOR ENDINGS and it's all under the Full Moon Power of Sagittarius that wants hard truths and authenticity. Today's full moon will be a Lunar Eclipse! This will bring sudden endings and changes that will suddenly shift us into a new timeline. With Mercury sextiling Uranus there is a potential for exciting news, new stimulating connections, important information to help expand our vision (or help others expand their visions), sudden epiphanies or flashes of insight and greater perception. Future-oriented thinking and open-mindedness will lead to original and ingenious discoveries. With this energy for the collective along with the full moon in expansive Sagittarius created an eclipse you can see there is a powerful tidal wave of energy for change, revolution, the spread of insightful ideas and new collective ways of thinking. Also remember what I said last week with the first quarter moon building up so much energy? We may see the result of that energy today especially with the situation of the protests in the USA (and globally) or in terms of Covid-19. There may be new insight to help bring a positive resolution today or force change and a new direction for the collective. The moon's transits will also be in theme with this. The Full Moon will also be opposite Venus rx in Gemini highlighting justice and values that the collective shares and what needs to be reflected on and re-evaluated in it's retrograde energy. This energy will be amplified with the Moon squaring Ceres creating energy that makes us feel a lack of nurture or that our needs aren't being met. Additionally the moon will square Mars that will create a fiery tension for us to feel motivated to go out and accomplish making our needs met in anyway necessary. This fiery square during the eclipse can really set the tone of the next timeline we get shifted into depending on how we channel the energy. The Moon will trine Chiron in Aries giving us the opportunity to look at past traumas and pain and find solutions or heal. With the moon sextiling Juno in Libra we will feel motivated to act out on our values and where we need to devote our energy towards. With this sextile this could highlight the collective struggle within and ask us on an individual level where we stand on the fight of injustice. These transits on a personal level want to bring change revolving around our personal values and where our needs are being met. With the full moon in Sagittarius we are going to be asking ourselves if we are being true to our personal philosophies and how are these beliefs lining up with our values and how we relate to others and the collective? Often if things are not matching up to where you need them to be, the eclipse will cut them out of your life, forever.

Recommendations: Full Moon is great for manifestations, however with this being an eclipse you may want to focus that energy into cutting chords and banishing instead. (It's good to look at terrible politicians or police chiefs in your area that are blocking justice and maybe get them removed or exposed? lol). Meditation with binural beats can really help bring in epiphanies and new perspectives. Today will be a good day for re-evaluing your values, truths, philosophies and seeing what steps you need to take to live your most authentic and genuine life. Energy: I don't know if all of you have seen Castle in the Sky by Hayao Miyazaki, but looking over these transits the first scene that came to mind was when Sheeta does the spell of destruction and we are graced with that like full minute long montage of the entire kingdom in the clouds collapsing into the ocean. That feels like the mood of today with the Sun in Gemini squaring Mars in Pisces after the full moon eclipse. The transits today will lead to tests of characters especially from competitors or enemies. On a personal level we may find that living authentically or to our values may be brought with opposition and on a community level we may find people in power being DICKS to progress. However today it's best to take a defensive position to guard our values and stick to our truths instead of looking for a fight. This transit can lead to a build up of anger, resentment, frustration and destruction. If you are personally feeling the stress good ways to release it (especially not blow up on another) is to go out for long walks, exercise, masturbate or channel it into a personal mini project. With Uranus conjunct Eros, the two energies will be combined where we may find desire and motivation to create change or cause a new shift in things. Eros joined with Uranus can also bring out new surprising desires, sexual interests and passions we would have never considered before. This energy could set the tone on a personal level for the new shift we may find ourselves in after the eclipse. Mercury will trine Ceres making it a good day to take care of our mental health and nurture others mentally. This week is going to be intense so it's a good time to reach out to loved ones and make time for yourself and make sure everyone is keeping mentally sane. The moon in Sagittarius will square Neptune in Pisces making us feel that we are stuck in a strange new dream world where things don't seem to resonate. We may feel more emotionally sensitive and vulnerable to deception. It would be a good day (along with Mercury trining Ceres) to escape healthily through sleeping in, story writing, watching films, paying attention to happy optimistic stories and entertainment since reality may feel a bit harsh or strange. Additionally this square will heighten our empathy for others and it will be good to help those you care about in need. After the void of course the moon will enter Capricorn bringing out our responsible and practical nature. After the chaos of the full moon eclipse it's time to get to business and harness the energy.

Recommendations: Focus on your mental health, channel anger into writing, exercise, masturbation (sex magic and charging items could be helpful today); with Eros conjunct Uranus creating new passions and desires and the Moon squaring Neptune you could selfishly dive into that new world if the current reality may seem too harsh. The overarching theme will be Ceres in Pisces squaring Venus rx in Gemini making us feel this neglect towards our values and also lack of love or respect in some way. With the moon opposite Mercury in Cancer we may be faced with opposing ideas and view points that can feel frustrating to understand and work around. A good way to work with this energy is try to see from the opposing point of view and either find resolution or if they are completely wrong, undo their thought process and stand by your values. (This opposition makes good energy for debates!) However if you are feeling overwhelmed by all the energy, it's a good day to take some time for yourself with the Moon sextiling Ceres in Pisces. You will feel more inclined to nurture yourself or others you care about. Today will make a good self care day especially with the moon squaring Chiron in Aries which could trigger painful emotions and memories that you may feel inclined to act out on. There can be positivity coming from this with the moon trining Uranus and Psyche in Taurus which can help provide circumstances for positive change and inner transformation and connection to be made. Astrology: When an Eclipse Hits the Astrological Houses

There can be a jittery buzz of anticipation in the days leading up to a Solar Eclipse. Something meaningful is percolating up from places where the Sun don't shine, and the blocking out of a constant light source is a symbolic block of familiar ways of being and perceiving.

The lunar eclipse also holds sway. Like the Moon card in the Tarot, it's a time of chaos or confusion, discovery or rediscovery. What is there to be absorbed, revealed or remembered?

The solar and lunar eclipses are sometimes disruptive shake-ups, leading to major life events or more subtle inner changes. What's neat to note is that eclipses run through the Zodiac every 19 years, in what's called the Saros Cycle. When the eclipse occurs, try to remember what happened to you 19 years ago. Is that core theme playing out again?

Double Act

It's useful to look at Zodiac signs, as well as the transiting houses of the eclipse, as a two-act production also. Since Zodiac signs correspond to a house, their symbolic themes are similar. Here are some notes to get you started, by looking at where the eclipses land in your own chart.

Eclipses go in reverse of the natural Zodiac (Aries to Pisces). You can track themes to become more aware of each eclipse cycle.

First and Seventh House (or Aries-Libra)

An eclipse in the first house strongly involves a sense of self. You may experience a desire to firm up your stance by claiming "I am" with self-defining acts or plans. In more extreme cases, it might mean the end to an entanglement that's muddled your sense of self. Or perhaps merging lives with another with accompanying fears of losing the self. A challenge here is to balance personal initiation and identity with meaningful relationships in your life. 

Eclipses in the seventh house also affect relationships that weigh heavily on the self. There can be upheavals in these big relationships, ranging from emotional shocks, deepening intimacy, or breaking up. A relationship can be wholly absorbing until you realize you've lost your own defining edges. Some might awaken to the naked truth about what's been lost or gained by being in cahoots with a close friend, lover, or business associate. Who am I in this relationship? Who will I become?

Overall, themes of an eclipse in the first or seventh house include identity crisis, self-hood, and relationships. This could mean going into a partnership or marriage or having periods of solo retreats.

Sixth and Twelfth House (or Virgo-Pisces)

When there is an eclipse in the sixth house, you are more sensitive to the body either spiritually or physically. This may be a time of accidents, life-threatening illness, or spiritual healing, which can shake you out of a deadening routine and put your life in perspective. By asking yourself questions such as "Is my job missing something?" or "Can I achieve a great connection or purpose?" you will strive for more soulful work and a more engaged life. These changes can either be subtle or in-your-face.

Eclipses in the twelfth house emphasize tending to the soul. You may experience soul messages through vivid dreams or seemingly otherworldly happenings. One outcome of eclipses here is to become aware of something previously veiled. That could include behaviors that you show in the workplace or relationships that have been unconsciously playing out. A breakthrough can be humbling at first and then lead to being more real and physically present in your life.

In general, sixth and twelfth house eclipses will make you question the minutia and the infinite in your life's direction.

Fifth and Eleventh House (or Leo-Aquarius)

An eclipse in your fifth house will highlight what makes you unique. It could be a wake-up call to seize the day with your creative gifts. You may creatively express yourself alone or in collaboration. You may experience acknowledging the need for recognition and setting out on a path that uses your talents. Perhaps this means turning what you love into your life's work or taking a gamble with your heart.

Eclipses in the eleventh house have to do with extended friend networks — colleagues and collaborators, near and far. Your attention is on these wider circles, with possible endings of some alliances or keeping up-to-date with others. You might meet odd characters, or reveal your own strange inclinations or fascination. The genius is unleashed, and you experience more freedom to say and do what you like.

Fifth and eleventh house eclipses will urge you to make a name for yourself, bring your attention to social networks, cause up and downs in friendships, and even lead to a shift with your child.

Fourth and Tenth House (Cancer/Capricorn)

Eclipses in the fourth house bring attention to home life. The forces that shaped your emotional body loom large, perhaps triggered by an event. A crisis here could bring you back to your roots, through tragedy or a sense of responsibility. 

An eclipse in the tenth house rouses dynamics of authority — claiming it or giving it away. Often times, sources of authority come from family members, so relationships with parents or kids may be affected. During this time, events may happen that challenge you to overcome emotional legacies that keep you from symbolically climbing that mountain.

Third and Ninth House (Or Gemini/Sagittarius)

Eclipses in the third house jolt the nervous system and affects the networks you're plugged into. Something meaningful happens in the local neighborhood, or siblings, schoolmates, and extended family could play a larger role in your life. Its amazing and touching when nature shows its enchanting beauty and mystery and it becomes a cultural event coast to coast of a country bringing people together to look up to the sky! Exactly one of the reasons why this blog was created!

An Eclipse reunites not only people but also beliefs! Its the chance to integrate science, psychology, spiritually and misticism. 

Astrologically speaking, we'll feel the impact of both of these eclipses—no goggles required. These lunar events, which always take place during a new moon (solar eclipse) or a full moon (lunar eclipse) shake up the status quo and reveal things that are obscured from our view.

What's an eclipse, exactly?

In astrology, the moon represents the feminine archetype of the mother. It also governs what we as humans need to feel safe and comfortable; it is the astro-arbiter of our emotions. (Like a Women's March on the solar system, if you will.)

Leo and Aquarius eclipses: Ego versus unity.

We also have to consider the zodiac signs that the eclipses fall in. From February 2017 until January 2019, these lunar events will fall on the Aquarius-Leo axis, illuminating the tug o' war between these two opposing signs.

Leo rules the ego and the urge to express ourselves—"I have arrived!" On the other side, communal Aquarius is the sign of groups and teamwork. Balancing self-serving agendas with the needs of the masses will be a huge theme for 2017 and 2018.

The Aquarius Lunar Eclipse: Power to the people?

The lunar (full moon) eclipse on August 7 falls in "power to the people" Aquarius, a community-minded energy that can be radically progressive or straight-up populist, depending on how it's used.

This eclipse could mobilize the masses and potentially deepen the divide that's already been cleaved between left and right. Or it could also serve as a unifying wake-up call, reminding the humans of Planet Earth that we need to band together for survival's sake, especially given the alarming realities of climate change.

Aquarius governs technology, the internet, and science. New developments could spring forth in the areas of renewable energy and space travel. Elon Musk just announced that his SpaceX program will send its rocket Falcon Heavy on its first flight this November. Anyone wanna bid on a condo on Mars?

The August 21 Leo Solar eclipse: A call for leadership, airing emotions.

The solar (new moon) eclipse on August 21 arrives in Leo, the sign of glamour and the gilded royal. In 2017, we've seen the many ways the power corrupts as authoritarian leaders rise to prominence around the globe.

We're also seeing a new breed of conscious leaders step forward to shift the tide. And given the feminine moon's very visible appearance, this eclipse could be the wake-up call for women to step into leadership roles or for governments to adopt legislation that protects and serves the female population.

Deeply Freudian and buried feelings will be on blast during these eclipses, especially the total solar eclipse on the 21st since the moon will be on parade. Did you even have a clue you were upset about that situation? Nope. But eclipses have a funny way of ripping up the rugs where we've buried our pain.

During the lunar eclipse on the 7th, we can lean in to Aquarius' high-minded cool: What is the cosmic lesson in the pain? Doesn't everything happen for a reason? It's all karmic growth!

The Leo eclipse on the 21st will be a bit less enlightened. A primal scream—or a karaoke marathon—could be better therapy than reflective journaling or meditation.

New moons are known for their powers of renewal and motivation—and all the more in confident, creative, can-do Leo.

But solar eclipses come with a bit of a twist. As the moon appears to block out the light of the Sun (Leo's ruling star, FYI), it's like a temporary power outage. The Sun illuminates the obvious; it rules our egos and personalities.

The moon is subtler, governing our deep desires and gut feelings. During a solar eclipse we are forced to "see" with the moon's sensitive viewfinder instead of leading with swagger. (Certainly not a bad thing, given the current world climate.) This can be disorienting. But instead of groping in the dark, the invitation is to stop and tune in to our intuitive senses. We may realize that something must be released in order for something new to be reborn.

Get ready for action, though! Just as the magic of an eclipse lasts for a brief window of time, the opportunities it delivers can also be fleeting if we don't carpe diem.

Never let the darkness take away your light! Shine on it... Shine Bright! Don't believe me? Just ask Garu and Balance...

- Thanks to that tearful incident with Scorpio, the team is down to 8 members once more. Which is... as I've said before, the maximum number to form Ryutei Kyuren-Oh. Oh, by the way, since I got really emotional on my previous recap-view (and also almost a week late), I forgot to mention that Kyuranger has officially entered its 1/3 point! NOTE: Optimistically assuming that this season is going to have at least 50 episodes, that means we still have around 33-34 episodes to go! 50 is a rather rare case though, since the past seasons have all ended below that number. Zyuohger ended at 48, Ninninger only had 47. Gokaiger was the last title to end with a heaping 51 episodes, and that was probably due to the Anniversary season's insane popularity. Rightfully so... *grins* - Garu narrates the intro, and he doesn't sound happy. He wants to locate Carina Kyu Globe right away, for Champ's sake. Balance on the other hand, thinks that rushing things up isn't good. Suffice to say, a conflict is at play between them, which is good, because Pyxis Kyu Globe hasn't finished recharging. Meaning? Side mission time! - One that involves... a 'Dome of Darkness'. Yeouch! That sounds ominous, though a bit Megaranger-esque somehow. But the theme of this liberation mission is about 'Dark versus Light', and clearly a parallel to gloomy Garu and bright bubbly Balance. Oh hey, surprise surprise, it's also about the #SUN/MOON Shining Kyu Globe. Putting the neat two-in-one design, it's a Kyu Globe with an ability that... even Commander Xiao isn't particularly sure about. LOL. - Since the untested gadget has yet to arrive from Rebellion HQ, the away team is sent out to scout the area first. The team members are Kyulette-ed, and it's a two females team again... Yaaay!!! How can they enter the pitch-black dome? By using Hammy's ninjutsu ability to enter the location from underground (I wonder what would happen if she wasn't picked by Kyulette then?). Not long after they arrive, suddenly the dome turns reaaaally bright! Bright as day. What is happening? And then... zombie workers?! - Apparently, day and night are being manipulated freely inside this dome, so day-time takes around 22 hours while night-time is only 2 hours. That's the reason why the workers haven't gotten proper rest and looking like... zombies. But how come nobody is complaining? Because they fear for the... invisible Malistrate Shaidows. Lucky can't hold back his badmouthings for Shaidows, so he experiences first hand (and actually, several times more... later on) getting strike down by the Malistrate's unseen force. - Unable to see their enemy, our away team is easily scattered away. Obviously, Garu gets stuck with Balance again (it's their focus episode, right?)... as they land on a garbage dump. Ouch! This bickering duo doesn't waste time and gets into a spat due to their polarizing personalities. Garu loses his patience and walks away because he thinks Balance is wasting time. Balance might seem laid-back, but secretly he's already devising a plan... by hacking through the surveillance camera. That's definitely Libra all right! LOL. - Meanwhile, the gang back on Orion is unable to contact the away team and starts to get worried. That's when a familiar face appears... on the monitor. Kotarou!!! Aaah, it's been 4 episodes since the last time we saw this boy. Is it just me though, or he's looking slightly... older? Perhaps the haircut? Darn, kids nowadays grow up so fast, eh? Kotarou's role is to report that the Shining Kyu Globe has been delivered to the Orion. He also offers an update about Champ and Stinger's condition... and it's NOT encouraging. The former hasn't been reassembled yet, while the latter is down and depressed about it. Aaaaww... *wipes tears away*, even Kotarou feels bad. - The problem in hand now, is HOW to deliver the Shining Kyu Globe to the away team. And well, Xiao has an... 'idea'. Gotta admire that whimsical confidence... as ridiculous as it may be *sigh*. Back on Earth, the team is reunited, and Balance surprises Garu by revealing what he's been up to. Garu's opinion about him starts to change. The team then immediately observes the footage that he has acquired. Turns out, Shaidows attacks from below, but... once again, how? Is he a speedster? This is where Garu offers his own plan. - LOL, that must be the silliest roll call (and mock-fight) I've ever witnessed so far in Super Sentai! Like seeing the kids of "Crayon Shin-chan" taking over the show with their... juvenile attitudes. Exaggeration mode aside (...;p), the point is to lure Shaidows out, so that Balance can analyze his attack pattern. And it works! Shaidows isn't a speedster, because... he moves around between shadows! Wait a sec, I wonder why nobody (including yours truly) realized this much earlier, when the answer is already hinted all along... by the Malistrate's very own NAME?! Aaarrggggh... - As to be expected, the solution to this, is the Shining Kyu Globe. Which has arrived through Draco Voyager Delivery! Leo Red uses the new produc... I mean item's Solar Mode, and transforms into The Shining Star, Sun Leo Red. The one with... 'bed-hair', according to Aquila Pink. That Spanish-sounding BGM though... *grins* SWEEET!!! Using the "Shine Bright!" ability, Shaidows (whose shadow lurking skill is rather creepy, if you ask me) can no longer hide in the darkness. And I don't know why, but Libra Gold gets powered up as well. If we count glowing and being nut... er, I mean hyperactive, as one, that is. Hmmm... perhaps because Balance is powered by solar energy? - The Darkness Dome is destroyed alongside Shaidows' Consumarz. And it is revealed that the actual time of day is NIGHT. That means... yep, time for Lunar Mode now. Thus, The Moody Star, Leo Red Moon debuts. Seriously, Spanish accoustic before this, and now Middle-Eastern-sounding BGM? While I fail to see how this Kyu Globe will be useful in future episodes, I'm TOTALLY loving its sound effects. Also, this mode affects Lupus Blue by giving him... a serene power up. As in, turning him into a sophisticated, classy-French-talking, and elegant version that makes the others jawdrop in awe. Werewolf Lupus Blue is definitely what we can call as... COOL!!! Hold on, Leo Red is acting all calm and gentle as well. And that's something. God, I think I'm in love with this Moon effect... XD - "Solar! Lunar! Total Eclipse!" is the Shining finisher, and my oh my, how it looks so darn stylish! But enough praising, time for mecha fight. Since Draco Commander has succeeded in... crawling out of that small hole, the honor is given to him and his Ryutei-Oh. This time, he's having Libra and Lupus Voyager as its arms! I don't know about you, but I appreciate the fact that this show isn't abusing/overusing Ryutei Kyuren-Oh on a weekly basis. It feels nice to have shake-ups like this every now and then. - Spada's Space Pizza! Thanks to understanding one another through this mission, Garu and Balance are buddies now. They are getting along really fine, so fine that their chit-chat suddenly feels a little... yaoi-ish somehow (nope, not talking about sharing the ending dance spotlight). And Pyxis is all recharged! That means, it's high-time to track Carina. But hold on, apparently the Kyurangers aren't the only one targetting that object. Because Scorpio is also commanding Madako to obtain it...

Overall: Every now and then, a Tokusatsu show needs to sell merchandise to keep it running. This was easily one of those occasion. In general, it's an okay-to-good episode, can even be categorized as filler. Unlike Pegasus Kyu Globe that expanded the world a bit, the Shining Kyu Globe was rather... pointless. Sure, you could say that it boosted the power of two other Kyurangers, but the limitation to that number was also a glaring question. Why not have the effect on the other Kyurangers as well? On the other hand, this SUN/MOON power up was still quite impressive on its own, especially as a spectacle. It exceeded my expectation, and helped made the second half of this episode really interesting and fun to watch. What I also really love about it, is despite being another power up for Lucky, the episode itself was (once again) NOT about him. In fact, it's a funtastic bonding episode for Garu and Balance instead, and I totally don't mind getting more of those... Next week: Police. Sheriff. Rebellion. An Ultra-Rare Intergalactic Gathering!

New Moon & Solar Eclipse In Pisces – The Ending Is The Beginning

The powerful Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon in Leo on February 10th marked our entry into a new pattern of personal and collective awareness that will influence humanity’s direction through 2017 and beyond. Now, the planetary alignments accompanying today’s New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Pisces provide us with a full dose of energy, breathing life and passion into our new direction. This offers us a valuable energetic opportunity: to clear out and break free of limiting emotional baggage, and to finally begin initiating and manifesting new directions into reality in a really meaningful way. This is a time of great change, of purification and transformation, creation and release, where all beginnings are endings and all endings are new beginnings.

Most of us have felt a deep sense of absence recently, which has caused us to lose faith in ourselves and the potential for heartfelt experiences to be manifested. As the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse takes form, we are being offered an opportunity to better understand our journey, the nature of change itself, and importantly, how we can positively influence the Shift moving forward. The collective heart has been broken, and now, the healing process is beginning. This is a cycle through which humanity will begin re-organizing itself and finding new form, as we find new understandings of ourselves and a renewed sense of meaning and purpose.

Let’s look at the evolutionary potential of these alignments.

Jupiter in Libra oppose Mars and Uranus in Aries, and square Pluto in Capricorn

Liberation comes through shattering the boundaries that hold our security.

These alignments reflect a very powerful wave of energy that will serve to reshape the boundaries and relationships we have to possessions and people. With the Solar Eclipse energy creating a deep need to surrender our ego-will to new directions, the aspect of Mars, Uranus, Jupiter and Pluto will simultaneously reflect to us the structures, beliefs, limitations and securities that are actually holding us in place.

Mars, the planet of action, is forming a new quarter-square to Pluto, which giving us the energy we need to initiate new, revolutionary directions in our lives. At the same time Uranus will continue to provoke unconscious feelings of limitation within us, while Jupiter in Libra is still showing us the outed expectations we still hold, and which no longer keep us feeling rejuvenated. This alignment may either create feelings of conflict between our sense of direction and our sense of limitation, or show us that, as we break away (Uranus) from our old patterns, we actually begin to feel more liberated, more free, more in tune with the spirit that is alive within us. How we experience this depends on our willingness to break through the boundaries that hold our security.

Remember: Libra is all about finding balance in our relationship to things and other people. While we may feel strongly drawn toward creating a new direction, we might also feel obligated, constrained by the demands and expectations of others, as well as the outside attachments that weigh us down. This is where we must begin to look at the bargains and trade-offs we have established in our lives, and ask ourselves: What am I sacrificing, and why? Is this bringing growth and expansion?

The lessons of the past serve as wisdom for the future to establish a strong foundation.

Jupiter in Libra offers a strong influence during this current cycle, which continues with its alignments with Saturn and Mercury. Jupiter reflects our natural sense of philosophy, and Libra an energy of balance. Mercury is associated with linear logical function and communication, while Saturn reflects how we form and relate to structure, both of our own individual consciousness and our relationship to the external world. The significance of this alignment is best understood in context of the Shift.

Since 2012, the ongoing awakening of human consciousness can been seen manifest throughout the world, with the explosion of social media sites becoming immensely influential in how we connect and interact, how we share information and ideas, and ultimately, how we see ourselves as a collective. On a very deep level, we have had the opportunity to open our lives and minds, to connect with people from all over the world, and to bypass the narrow world of centralized media in our quest for knowledge and information. Through new interactive media, we have begun to form new communities and associations that are having a truly mind-blowing affect on the shape of our world today. (Why else do you think the war on “fake news” is so important to the establishment right now? This would never have been possible 50 years ago.)

As we share our ideas, ideals, cultures and values, we have re-shaped our sense of collective identity. We have changed our relationship to each other. We have begun to purge out the pre-conceptions and fixed dynamics of our old relationships, and we are connecting in a way that humanity has never connected before. And our place in this journey is reflected to us through the current astrological alignments: as we end the old cycles of the past, we are learning to embody the strength and wisdom of what we have seen and learned and experienced and survived, and to use them as the foundation of our new life’s direction. We can see this through the sheer number of collaborative communities popping up, both online and at home, connecting people with similar visions and passions and enabling them to co-create the kind of change they wish to see. In this paradigm, sharing, inclusion, individuality and acceptance become the new foundations of social participation (in place of competition and conformity) as “tribes” come together based on common goals and ideals.

The Sun, the Moon, Mercury, the South Node and Neptune in Pisces

The path to the heart is found through self-responsibility and forgiveness.

During this time it can be really easy to lose ourselves in the confusion. It is natural for us to go through periods of uncertainty, loss of meaning, insecurity, and total confusion; these states simply reflect transition in our lives. Right now, these feelings are working their way through the collective reality, and although it is a painful and seemingly chaotic process, it marks a clear turning point in the collective awareness. Inside us all there is a growing feeling that our old ways are ending and the future is uncertain, but there is also a new direction emerging. During this Solar Eclipse, we are being invited to draw clear insight from the last 4 years of our collective experience, and to shine the light of awareness into everything we do — into the very foundations of our society’s new form. Thus, acknowledging and purging this old energy is absolutely necessary as we set sail for the next chapter of the human experience.

Further, Neptune will continue to help us find the natural path of inspiration, and if we are to make the most of the energies at this time, our best response is to honour our own cosmic story. The road for us is to always found through the heart — through passion, expression, and self-responsibility — but the path to the heart passes through the shadow. At this time it is vital we are compassionate and forgiving to ourselves, as we consciously continue to explore our darkness, acknowledge and heal our pain, and expand our light.

New Moon Message: The Ending is the Beginning 

 We have reached a new chapter in our evolutionary journey, and this one pertains specifically to the awakening of our heart-center and an accelerated growth towards self-actualisation. Just as every ending of a cycle also marks the beginning of a new one, the opposite is also true for us. As we embark into this new phase, we are finding and unveiling new ways to bring ourselves more fully to this incarnation, while also letting go of the parts of ourselves which no longer serve us and which, therefore, were never really us to begin with. This current astrological cycle is supporting the remembrance of who we truly are, as well as recognition of what we have been through to get to this point.

Recognize what you have been through, and what we have been through together, and begin this new journey with the wisdom of past guiding you forward on your path. Embrace your individuality, your growth, and your bravery, and at the same time, recognize, forgive, accept and let go of that which does not support you in creating the future you want to embody.

One step at a time, one decision at a time we are manifesting a new way of being in the world. So, when beginning a new cycle, it is important not to throw out and disregard ‘the old’ altogether only to dive headfirst into ‘the new’. Our challenge now is to integrate what we have learned through experiencing the previous cycle into the foundations of the new world we are co-creating — the beginning must honor the ending that came before it. The saying that “youth is wasted on the young” expresses exactly that paradox of life; that we cannot fully experience the potential of innocence without the wisdom of experience. We are however being offered the beautiful opportunity of clarity in this moment, to identify what will work for us going forward, to let go of whatever is holding us back, and to take practical steps to step into the future of our choosing.

It’s time to make changes, folks! To be you! To actually do the things we have been waiting to do and be the way we have been longing to be. The meaning of life exists within each of us — we can feel it every time we do what makes our hearts sing. It’s time to embody the meaning we are each here to express, and bring our meaning to life.

Moon Phases

Also called Lunar Phases, are basically the shapes of the illuminated (sunlit) portions of the Moon as seen by an observer on earth. The Lunar Phases change cyclically as the moon orbits the Earth, according to the changing positions of the Moon and Sun relative to the Earth. The Moon’s rotation is tidally locked by the Earth’s gravity, therefore the same lunar surface always faces Earth. There are about 8 phases of the Moon, even though theoretically each phase lasts 0 seconds.

Phases:

New Moon : The disk is completely in the Sun’s shadow in both hemispheres and it appears invisible because it’s too close to the Sun and it is only lit by the Earth’s light. Average Moonrise time : 6 am Average Moonset time : 6 pm

Waxing Crescent : The disk is visible 1-49% in both hemispheres, right on the northern hemisphere and left on the southern respectively. It’s visible from late-morning to post-dusk. Average Moonrise time : 9 am Average Moonset time : 9 pm

First Quarter : The disk is visible 50%, right side appearing on the northern hemisphere and left on the southern. It’s visible at afternoon and early evening. Average Moonrise time : Midday Average Moonset time : Midnight

Waxing Gibbous : The disk is visible 51-99%, with the right side appearing on the northern hemisphere and left side on the southern hemisphere. It is visible from late-afternoon and lasts most of the night. Average Moonrise time : 3 pm Average Moonset time : 3 am

Full Moon : Complete illuminated disk on both hemispheres. It is visible from sunset to sunrise (lasts all night). Average Moonrise time : 6 pm Average Moonset time : 6 am

The average calendar month, which is  1⁄12 of a tropical year, is about 30.44 days, while the Moon’s phase (synodic) cycle repeats on average every 29.53 days. Therefore, the timing of the Moon’s phases shifts by an average of almost one day for each successive month. (Lunar year=354 days.) Therefore, there we have more than 8 Moon Phases.

Additional Moon Phases :

Blue Moon : The term has traditionally referred to an “extra” moon, where a year which normally has 12 full moons has 13 instead. The “blue moon” reference is applied to the third full moon in a season with four full moons, thus correcting the timing of the last month of a season that would have otherwise been expected too early. This happens every two to three years (seven times in the Metonic cycle of 19 years). Approximately about 2.716 years, or 2 years, 8 months and 18 days.

Lunar Eclipse : A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly behind the Earth into its umbra (shadow). This can occur only when the sun, Earth, and moon are aligned (in “syzygy”) exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle. Hence, a lunar eclipse can occur only the night of a full moon and it only lasts for a few hours. A total lunar eclipse has the direct sunlight completely blocked by the earth’s shadow. The only light seen is refracted through the earth’s shadow. This light looks red for the same reason that the sunset looks red, due to rayleigh scattering of the more blue light. Because of its reddish color, a total lunar eclipse is sometimes called a Blood Moon.

Black Moon : The term black moon refers to an additional new moon that appears in a month or in a season. It may also refer to the absence of a full moon or of a new moon in a month. One use of the term is for the occurrence of a second new moon in a calendar month. This is analogous to the by-month definition of a blue moon as the second full moon in a month. February is too short for a second new moon to occur. This event occurs about every 29 months. Keep in mind that there is no single definition of the term ‘black moon’.

The Moon and the Zodiac

The Moon spends a day or two each month in each of the twelve signs of the zodiac. The sign the moon is transiting through can be used to good advantage during spellwork.

Moon in Aries A good time to perform spells related to job ventures and all new projects related to money. Also a good time to develop strength and courage, and lust spells. This is not a good moon for performing divination.

The L.A. Taco Horoscope for November, 2018

Another Lunar Eclipse on its way to us come Sunday at 13 degrees Capricorn. This will be the third lunar eclipse of the year. This penumbral eclipse [penumbral meaning: Imperfect alignment and occurs when the Sun, Earth, and the Moon are imperfectly aligned.] will bring with it a few changes to our atmosphere. In particular, being in the earthy and regimented sign of Capricorn, it will be an auspicious time to solve practical problems.

The emphasis will be on developing material stability and security.

This will help with career decisions as well as family issues. Lunations like this have a tendency to go full-throttle regarding emotions. As a result, emotions and instincts reach their peak around this time. This Eclipse not only finishes out the current eclipse season, but it also ends the Cancer-Capricorn eclipse cycle that we’ve been working with since 2018.

Full Moon in Capricorn: Preservation & Authority

Full Moon in Capricorn (24°) will hit us on July 16th, 2019. Capricorn is the Cardinal force and it is symbolic of the Aries nature. Through the sign we learn what it means to become stronger and get our heads in the game. The Solar Eclipse in the sign of Cancer focused on our emotional wellbeing, how we could put ourselves in check to remove any mental blockages that will make us unable to thrive. Our challenges have been to learn the not to allow ourselves to be afraid of restrictions but to work and find a balance. At out core we are fighting and dealing with self-preservation, so do not stop hustling, inspiring and dreaming even when Saturn makes us feel guilty and depressed. SORRY AGAIN that this is late but boy oh boy what a week I had (imagine going back to work in hospitality catering to rude rich people on CAPRICORN FULL MOON ECLIPSE ugh just.. a lot of work and crazy shifts around work). Anyway this week seems to be focused on healing, what makes us feel loved and nurtured and creating active change around it. It's going to feel very 'peak' Cancer season with everything happening, but something to look forward to at the end of this week is Venus and Juno making a beneficial trine which can help us bring in any love or alignment with our values that will start at the end of the week (around with Mercury will go direct!) and last for four days.

Energy: Ceres the minor planet of nurturing and caring goes retrograde today which will add an interesting and emotional flavor to the already dramatic and emotional Cancer season. Ceres retrograde means that nurturing will be focused on the self along with sacrifices that we may need to make in order to not smother others or opportunities with clinging on them too tightly. This can be things such as letting babies, metaphorically or literally leave the nest, letting go of anything that makes you feel nurtured or comforted that is no longer serving your or relinquishing your grasp on anything that needs to grow on it's own. It also means you will be focusing way more on caring for yourself and your needs. This retrograde will also highlight if you've been blocking the love and support others have been trying to give you. Sometimes the most cruel person in our lives are ourselves and this calls us to love ourselves unconditionally. Ceres retrograde does NOT do well with codependent relationships. You can find cold rude awakenings if you are currently in one. This retrograde can also make others feel a bit colder and affections be withdrawn in most relationships. On a concerning note this can affect crops and food especially if the way we nurture the land isn't good. This retrograde will bring harsh lessons in regards to the environment and our food cultivation and distribution. I'd hope it would not come to that but with the direction the world is going, this retrograde could bring those themes to the surface.
