It’s all very overwhelming. I can remember a time when it wasn’t a top 3 priority to make sure mine, and my fellow countrymen’s rights weren’t being dissolved. I remember a period when protections and liberties were strengthened for the middle class, not meticulously eroded. I remember moments where it seemed the high water mark of prejudice, racism and hate had peaked as the water table of intolerance resided into history. It wasn’t that long ago.

My current number one priority is staying engaged and informed, doing what I can with the resources and small soapbox I have to provide some insight into the eradication of freedoms and liberties being abolished deceptively in plain sight. To do what is possible in defense of what so many gave so much for me to enjoy. To not give up.

We are cursed to exist in such tumultuous times. Our focus should be on bettering ourselves, reaching for our dreams, trying to enjoy this burden not asked for called life.

Now we must point our attention towards guarding what was bestowed on to us in the aspiration that future generations will be given access to the privileges so generously attained for us by those who knew nothing of us other than they desired us to be free. They wanted us to be able to pursue happiness. They wished liberty upon us.

Unfortunately it’s not only national leaders who wish to undermine our rights and safety. There are forces closer to home which seek to betray us. This state bill being proposed in South Carolina does nothing, NOTHING, to benefit the working class. This is a bill designed to protect corporations and insurance companies from executing the services they claim to provide. Enriching the already extravagantly wealthy while endangering the regular American.

There is an operation being carried out in this very moment to squeeze the working class and squash dissent. A plan at least 40 years in the making. It will be nearly impossible to remain vigilant to all the attacks on our rights, freedoms and liberties being perpetuated on so many fronts but if we don’t try, they will not just confiscate some, but they will thieve them all.

This is not a hyperbolic scenario. This is actively occurring.

Don’t give up hope. Don’t give up. Don’t give in.

Nothing that’s worth having comes easy. It’s our turn to stand up for what’s right and good in this country. It’s better to die fighting on your feet, than begging on your knees.

Resist. Fight. Unite.

Peronism isn't hard to understand when you see it as the Argentine expression of both "social democracy" (the New Deal Democrats in the US, the Social Democrats in European countries) and the anti-imperialist revolutionary movements in the Third World (Nasser in Egypt for example, many of the "Non-Alligned" leaders). I believe this is the best way to approach it from an outsider's prespective.

Yes, it has many unique things, but Argentines tend to exaggerate a bit when they joke it's unique and incomprehensible. The tug of war between right and left factions, a charismatic leadership that took, let's say, "pragmatic" decisions and ideologies, the sell-out during the neoliberal wave in the 90s... when you read about world history, and especially about countries in the Third World, you start to see the parallels.

Military leaders in the West African country of Gabon have arrested President Ali Bongo Ondimba, a Neocolonialist Vassal of France and declared the newly reelected Government dissolved.

This marks the eighth coup in West and Central Africa since 2020, and the sixth former French Colony to be taken over in a Military Coup.

Just as there were in Niger, crowds of Gabonese citizens swarmed Libreville to cheer on and hug soldiers in the streets in what has become a symbol of African sovereignty and independence from France and the other Western Powers.

President Bongo took over leadership of the country in 2009 after the death of his father whose family had ruled the country with an iron fist since 1967. Elections were known to have irregularities and corruption ensured election results almost never reflected public opinion.
