And the joke always works because Sephiroth knows that he has someone in his life who finally sees him as human—as something beyond ShinRa’s opulences. So much so that he can share a laugh about it.

49. stolen kisses; iwaizumi

on the rooftop, during lunch period, when it’s way too hot but it’s the only place with any semblance of privacy — his fingers insistent as they tilt your chin up to meet his, your hands crumpling his uniform front. the way you let out a long, ragged breath from between kiss-slick lips makes a strange satisfaction curl in his stomach as he pulls back.

“y-y’know… if oikawa-san knew —”

“mm — i really don’t like it when you mention another guy’s name when we’re together like this.”

he huffs, tugging you forward again, you protest lost against the press of his lips.

“so… what was that about oikawa?” he asks as the pair of you make your slow way down the three flights of stairs to japanese lit.

“i — just…” you blush, ducking as iwaizumi turns to cock his head at you, the hint of a smirk on his lips, “you always give him such a hard time for flirting —”

“ah… so you’re calling me a hypocrite?” he props an arm over your head, caging you in just before the pair of you hit the last bend into the hallway, slowly filling with more and more students, making their way back in from lunch.

“no! i just… it just occurred to me is all.”

“heehhh… so you were thinking of another guy when we were making out, hm?”

you nearly squeak as he leans down, crowding into your personal space with a sharp, hard-lined look in his eyes, but the smirk on his lips is nothing short of wicked as he pauses right before his lips meet yours, so close you can almost taste him —

“guess next time… i’ll just have to make it so you can’t think at all, huh?”

Now you got the idea that Silver's fur is actually supposed to be snow white but because he's pretty much lived in a volcano his whole life its grey from years of exposure to ash and debris stuck in my head.

I believe that in the Archie comics he actually did start out as a pristine white, before they apparently realised Silver is not pristine white and colouring him more correctly, haha. I myself like him as incredibly light grey; enough to not be entirely white, but it's easy to see him as such when the lighting falls on him in a certain way. But I definitely headcanon that his pelt was a lot darker, leaning closer towards clouds-in-a-stormy-sky grey, when he came to the past the first time! It took a few showers and extensive lathering with soap before he got the colour he has in the games.

I've had to make some fur decisions because I uh, tried the fur I thought I wanted to use and it was way too fluffy (apparently that is indeed a thing.)

Fortunately I already had a shorter fur I was pairing with it, so am able to switch it out pretty easily.

I'm leaning towards the top version, but posting both to show process. I'll be going with the shorter fur on the top, longer fur along the stomach. Also long butt feathers. The floofy neck remains unchanged from all the original concept sketches.

HC: Ozzie is basically an anchor to Luci in regard to making sure he takes at least some care of himself (you know, make sure he eats and gets out a bit) expectably after Lilith left. Granted I like to think Luci kinda ghosted people for a while but after likely visiting Luci unannounced he's like "damn man you're letting yourself go," and ya know, bros gotta be watching out for their bros right?
