I firmly believe that Snape 1) never believed in blood supremacy 2) was forced into the Death Eaters 3) never hurt a single person and 4) was never truly loyal to Voldemort.

Why?

Because Severus Snape is never the thing everyone thinks he is.

The entire plot of Philosopher's Stone is literally Snape not being what Harry thought he was. And every single time someone thinks he's up to no good, he's not. Even when he murdered Dumbledore and that seemed to be the surest proof of who he was, turns out that was not it at all.

He's never what he seems to be.

btw please block me if you feel the need to gatekeep the queer community. cishet aspecs ARE valid and they ARE queer. the "they don't experience discrimination" argument is possibly the most stupid thing i have ever heard because aspecs experience insane levels discrimination and people are extremely dismissive of them. we our more than our suffering. our community is not yours to gatekeep it isn't fair to invalidate people's queer identities just because you can't fit them in your stupid little box of specific labels.

It would be really funny if s3 starts and Crowley and Aziraphale just keep accidentally kissing. Imagine if every time one of them has to leave and go somewhere, even if it’s just to the other room they keep unconsciously giving each other kisses and then it dawns on them like 10-30 seconds later but it keeps happening over and over.

That one chef saying that the worst thing about a bad boss is how they unlock that behavior in you and seeing Carmy mirror the attitude of the chef that terrorized him and gave him panic attacks and then ending the season with Syd having a panic attack because of the stress of working with Carmy...diabolical.

#idk if it's a little too on the nose or not (i literally just finished the season so i haven't had time to sit with it) but that whole #element is so interesting (and so devastating). and the ways that mirrors all of Nat's worries about continuing the dysfunction of her #family now that she has a kid...#i also think its a good portrayal of how not addressing your trauma and leaving things to fester can end up hurting other people way more #than it hurts you. like even if Carmy is okay with choosing to not have a life or to be close with anyone (which. debatable) he's #not the only one whose life gets fucked by that. the mess just radiates out until it hits everyone around him and he ends up creating #the same circumstances that caused his dysfunction in the first place.#even if evil joel mchale chef is right (a+ casting btw very punchable face) and carmy needs to ruin his life to be a good chef #--which is a big if--he's actively making the people around him less able to do their jobs. which then makes the people around them #less able. and so on. so in the end it's still net negative. and like. chef terry proves that he's actually completely wrong #the environment in her kitchen is the exact opposite and everyone is operating at an insane level anyway no abuse necessary #this season was definitely the weakest of the 3 but i rly wanna see where they go next. and they better drop the next bit soon bc that was #in no way complete #the bear #the bear season 3 #carmy berzatto #sydney adamu #the bear spoilers

why is so much of sewing just tracing and cutting and tracing again q_q i see why people get projectors and use adobe illustrator now

#drawing up a design that i can easily pattern from my sloper: 😊#actually having to make the pattern by tracing and cutting ad infinitum: 😰#piecing together printer paper to get a big enough sheet of paper and doing this ten million times: 🥲😭#not to mention the IRONING.... prewashing the fabric and having to iron 8 yards of fabric???? excuse me????#and then distorting it as i iron bc it has a slight stretch and i got so tired i stopped being careful 2 yards in #and the way that you're supposed to press every seam... excuse me... am i just supposed to have my iron heated and on standby at all times #AND THE STEAM??? i just got stay tape the other day and thought it'd be a neat alternative to stay stitching #BUT IT NEEDS STEAM TO ACTIVATE (which okay makes sense) BUT long story short i'm too afraid to use the steam function #on my iron because none of us are sure if water should go back into a tank that's been in disuse for 30+ years #so instead i get this water spray pen and delicately spray down the length of each piece of stay tape #before i cover it with a piece of gauze and iron it. and then i have to iron it extra so all the water actually evaporates #oh and the spray pen holds as much water as half a pen so i have to walk to the kitchen every 10 sprays to refill it #and i have to do this for every curved edge on my pattern pieces #i mean the alternative is just stay stitching but then i would have to calibrate my settings for a single layer of fabric instead of double #which means i have to switch my needle out more and i'm still new enough that sometimes i install a needles wrong despite going through #all the same exact motions that i usually would. i'm LITERALLY suffering out here. anyway can't wait to sew or whatever #oh and did i mention i went to a sewing meetup recently? yeah...#everyone there bought like $30-$100/yard fabric and i was there awkwardly knowing i only buy like $12/yard fabric #honestly though i have the opposite problem people usually joke about. i find it So hard to find fabric i actually like #it needs to be the right fiber + right color + right pattern/texture + right weight + i have to know exactly what i'm going to make with it

Hey y'all! Weird question time again, this time for like a frame of reference. I know the recommended daily intake of sodium for adults (at least, what I was told growing up) is 2,000mg I know I was told* I personally should be having around 10,000mg, maybe more if I am doing anything that loses extra salt How much are people supposed to aim for when they are supposed to restrict sodium? Also, how much sodium do most people actually get on a daily basis, and do you notice if you have extra, like does it cause noticeable side effects? I have absolutely no idea how sodium goes for people without salt wasting syndrome. Normally I could use my family as a benchmark, but it seems likely there's a genetic component to this and one whole side of the family tends towards salt-cravings and/or Addison's disease (a different issue that also causes low sodium) and the other side of the family tends toward other health issues that require restricting sodium intake (I, clearly, do not take after that side of the family lol) *this number was decided upon and approve by my nephrologist, cardiologist, and internist. Probably don't be aiming for that number unless you've talked to at least one ologist about it to run some tests

something i love about dread is that the more i play it the more it becomes apparent that Raven Beak NEEDS her validation. he pulls out all the stops (calls her "daughter", tells her it's her destiny to pave the way for his rule) but in the end samus is literally just doing her thing while RB's entire plan precariously hinges on her. really highlights how much of an egomaniac he is as well to be so 100% convinced that This is her purpose

was bored and did this ya books tier ranker … this is like the only ranked like this I’ve seen include individual books from series rather than just the first idk if I like that more or less

#in some cases it Is useful because I like the wicked king significantly more than the cruel prince for instance. in others it was a bit #confusing. did my best #the top row being trc tid and dosab makes so much sense.#I did try to go left to right in terms of favorite to least favorite in each row but it’s not an exact science #but for instance I def like the lunar chronicles way more than fangirl and they’re both in enjoyable but on different sides #there are also some books I read in high school or younger where I’m kind of dubious where they would rank now. we are okay for instance I #did like when I read it but didn’t have strong emotions vs I feel like if I read it now I’d connect to the subject matter a lot more #and then like fangirl would be the opposite I related to it in 8th grade but if I reread I think it might not hit #I also was mostly guessing about the tmi rankings I’d need to reread to be sure. but ik books 3 and 6 are the ones I liked best so they go #to enjoyable at least #did put all the Mara Dyer books in tier 2 because I just remember them making me so crazy. that should be my next paranormal reread fix nex #time I’m in the mood.#s speaks #s does things
