Mod, I am so sorry for hiding inside your inbox for replying to other people's reblogs, I really am, this is surely going to be my last confession about this topic.

People misunderstood my confession. I said it was fine to USE AI as a tool, not rely on it. Like.... this feeling of writer's block where you need to communicate with someone to write something. Like a roleplay. I was an rper so I kind of need a feeling of collaboration to progress.

I write a lot without AI. I just use it for fun SOMETIMES.

It's fine. to use it for your OWN entertainment. I DID say AI fanfics are soulless?? Usually you get inspiration from other sources, like music, or manga, or literally anything else that isn't AI, AI won't give you anything original.

I just wrote that confession because people don't take this topic with nuance. You seriously going to bully a kid for using chatgpt to write their fanfics the same way people used to bully kids who traced art? That happened before and it's ridiculous. At least get your point of view across without attacking or being rude about it

I'm not pro-AI, I don't write my main and ambitious Undertale fics with AI, and for the people who are saying it's bad for the environment... i need to do proper research on it and if it's right, i'm going to do my best to avoid supporting AI (it's already bad enough that it steals other people's works without their consent, I already don't put a cent in supporting that). That's it. No need to be so aggressive

Transcript: For the love of God, Please Understand, that any hatred towards sans for being the golden egg of this fan base will immediately make you look stupid, Please Understand, that the reason people immediately go after Sans to make AU's with is just because he is famous, simple and a big part of Undertale (the main game's story), Please Understand, that the reason you barely see Undertale AU's that don't focus on Sans are rare for a reason that ISN'T CONNECTED TO SANS, they get shafted for many factors, maybe the concept ain't that interesting, maybe the story isn't that well written and the list goes on, but Please Understand, That the BIG reason as to why they get shafted is because most of them are completely disconnected with the Undertale MULTIVERSE, a lot of comics and Comics about AU's that don't center around sans usually are not that connected to the multiverse of Undertale, which is why a lot of them get dropped the moment they end because you can't do a lot with them after the story ends, a lot of those stories have an START, MIDDLE AND END, and throughout the WHOLE thing these AU's don't interact with the outside of them, I.e the multiverse, which is a big factor of the longevity of an AU's success, PLEASE UNDERSTAND, that's it's NOT IMPOSSIBLE to make an AU that doesn't center around sans to get famous, in fact, it's not that difficult either, a lot of AU's prove this actually: CORE FRISK AND THE OMEGA TIMELINE (being LITERALLY and EASILY THE BIGGEST PLOT DEVICE OF THIS FAN BASE), UNDERPLAYER, TWINRUNES, EPICTALE (while sans is THE most recognizable guy there, the story is still closer to Undertale than you'd initially think, with Epic sans just going through the same thing classic sans did go through with being the golden egg) and the list keeps going, a lot of those AU's have their longevity significantly boosted by being more connected to the multiverse than most other stories, but also don't get the wrong idea, you can just not care and still make a self contained story without connecting them to the UTMV, don't feel pressured to do things just because I said so, but if you want to see more AU's that don't center around sans, not only do them yourself (be the change you wanna see) but also connect them to the UTMV if you want it to stand around for longer and maybe get more people to appreciate it and make more like it, anyways, thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
