The first overblot you witnessed 

The Overblotted Riddle was as regal as ever 

Standing above your gilded bed fit for royalty decorated by arches of spinning ink 

You could see guards that looked similar to the entrapped dormmakers during the event

Standing in front of heart shaped doors that resembled an inky reflection of the Heartslabyul’s dorm

“Look at me when I’m talking to you, (Y/n). I haven’t forgotten how you ran from my forces meant to bring you home.”

“I…was just scared. Your army was fighting with Jamil’s and I just didn’t want to get in the way.”

Riddle scoffed,”You think I’d allow any of my vassals hurt you?! I thought you heard me last time we saw each other.”

His gloved hands clutched your cheeks and chin forcing you to hold his gaze

“In my world, I am the law. I am order manifest! 

The words brought back the memories again

But you couldn’t drift off especially now that Overblotted Riddle was smiling 

You could practically smell the idea of something awful coming from him

He let his ink gloved hands trail from your jaw to rest around your neck

“I have been eagerly awaiting the day I’d meet you again. For so long I’ve been replaying the sight of the collarless king working alongside those rogue cards.”

He pulled away leaving a ring of ink that tickled your skin, shaping to hug your neck letting a black splattered rose hang from it’s center

“All this time I’ve thought about having you and now I’m this close to having everything be perfect.”

You watched his eyes drift down your body, letting yourself follow his gaze 

Finding your outfit to be matching his own, you hoped it was just the ink doing its things

He beckoned you to follow him 

And the moment you deliberated you could feel the bodice of your outfit slightly squeeze 

So that was it’s purpose+

You hurriedly caught up to him minding the overwhelming line of soldiers collared and at the ready 

“Riddle what do you plan to do?”

Riddle’s distorted chuckle exploded into a diabolical laugh

Calming himself he turned over his shoulder as you both left the dorm/castle for the garden

“I’m recreating where we met of course. An unbirthday celebration that changed everything. A coronation that would have been perfect if you and those cards didn’t ruin it.”

Arriving to the entrance of the garden it was exactly as he said

The table and treats for an unbirthday party all different shades of black with that sheen that said was ink

All surrounding a grand stage where to thrones sat at the edge of it

He took your hand, more gentle than you were expecting and led you on a red carpet that led to the thrones

Out of nowhere this Riddle brought out a box setting it on a pedestal

He opened it to reveal a crown…fit for a king

“Bow, (Y/n) and receive your right as my king.”

Idia’s crown flashed in your mind making you cower instinctively

His glare was paralyzing

“Bow. (Y/n).”

The pressure around your body was intense, as if sapping your energy to make you fall to your knees

Riddle sighs,”That’s good enough.”

He places the crown on your head 

It doesn’t hurt like Idia’s but it feels hard to remove 

And as Riddle helps you stand you can feel the something wet drip from the  crown and into your eyes

But it doesn’t burn…more like clouding your vision as you were led to rest in the throne

“Now! Bring the relic! It’s power will be what finalizes your king's coronation!”

Carried by many of the soldiers was the mirror–The mirror that you originally traveled to 

“That–”

“Recognize it? This is the accursed object that let me bring you here. But it’s done it’s job and no one has any intentions of you using it again.”

“Wait but I have—to–go back!”

The overblotted Riddle gave you that sly smirk all to similar to the dormleader you knew

“You’ll find that world will fade from memory when the portal does as well.”

With a trumpet sound and coordinated shouts an ink covered axe was brought to Riddle

Despite being so close you couldn’t lift yourself from the throne, courtesy of the ensemble you were wearing

You could feel your tears blend with the ink trailing down your face as the Overblotted Queen raised his axe to smash the mirror

You tried to reach in vain as he brought the axe down

You felt as though it was helpless 

Until you heard a whisper

“(Y/n) don’t despair we wouldn’t leave you by yourself.”

A new bout of energy let you sit up

“Oh my gosh! It’s you! You’re here!”

“Hush, we’ve got to be quick the main event is on its way.”

“I summon thee cauldron!”

The Fatal Five

A quintet composed of five of the most dangerous criminals of the 31st century, The Fatal Five were among the most dangerous adversaries that faced the interred Legion of Superheroes.   The team was founded and led by the Emerald Empress who wielded the  powerful Eye of Ekron.  This eye bestowed her telekinetic powers as well as the ability to manifested energy constructs in a fashion similar to that of a Green Lantern.  

The Empress’ consort was Mano whose body was composed of anti-matter.  His touch could disintegrated any substance that it came into contact with.  Whereas Validus was a hulking marauder with incredible strength and the ability to emit a psychic energy blast.  

The Persuader was a fierce combatant who wielded an Atomic Ax, a lethal weapon capable of cutting through any substance.  The villain controlled the ax through a telepathic link, enabling him to throw it with deadly accuracy and have the weapon quickly return to his hand.   Ands finally Tharok was a cyborg possessing a host of tactical and offensive functionalities.   

The Fatal Five used psionic mind control technology to enslave the majority of the Legion of Super-Heroes, forcing them to launch an assault on the capital world of the United Planets. The plot was thwarted by the Legionnaire Brainiac 5, who had managed to elude capture and was aided by the 21st Century heroes Supergirl, Green Arrow, and Green Lantern.  

On a subsequent occasion, The Fatal Five traveled to their past as part of a scheme to extinguish the Earth’s sun and thus ensure that the Legion of Superheroes was never formed.  The diabolical endeavor was foiled by the Justice League with the crucial aid of the Legionnaire, Star Boy.  

The group of villains first appeared in the tenth episode of the third season of Justice League Unlimited, ‘Far From Home.’

anyways Ithaca saga is amazing spoilers under cut since ik some people haven’t listened to it

the challenge is amazing, i love Penelope’s voice and the vocals are so amazing and the “whoever can string my husbands old bow and shot through twelve axes clean” part gave me the good shivers

hold them down made me cry. I love the vocals and everything but the lyrics make me sob, how dare they say they’re gonna rape Penelope. Also the noise of him getting shot is so hfiekwkeiej like I love it because I can actually visualize it in my head

Odysseus is my favorite in this saga all the little background noise and everything, also this one is the most story like, because it goes from him to killing them, then Telemachus comes and they start using him to their advantage . Also I love how they had the legendary sound in there, i don’t know if that’s like Telemachus’ motif or something but I know I heard it and I knew Telemachus was gonna pop up. Also that suitor saying open arms made me mad and I was like “kill him.” And then he did and I was like gasp I called it!! Overall my favorite song.

I can’t help but wonder is an amazing song, Telemachus and ody reuniting and it made me cry but for a good reason, also him greeting Athena like that again “show yourself , I know you’re watching me” is diabolical, like yeah, go ahead and tug at my heartstrings

Would you fall in love with me again is an amazing song, the instrumental after he says Penelope made me release a breath I didn’t know I was holding, like I can feel ody take it a deep breath before going in there, also the soft notes that play when Penelope talks just makes me cry and her noticing everything that changed about him, and calling him “my love” just makes me sob. Also I love how it was true to the myth by making her unsure if it’s really him or a trick from the gods by telling him to move their wedding bed. And I love how she still thinks of him as her husband and will always love him is so cute and I love it also her vocals are so impressive!!! And the “waaaaiting.. foooor youu…” and then the instrumental made me feels so relieved and k can imagine them hugging during that part, also the I love you at the end was so yeirjdjdhdg gods they’re so cute

Though “Odysseus” is my favorite song, I love “would you fall in love with me again” so much because I feel like I can actually feel what Odysseus is feeling and “I can’t help but wonder” is such a relief since we know that Athena isn’t dead, even though we already kinda knew that, it’s just the actual reassurance that’s she’s there

Hey I heard you've been on T for awhile I've just started and know I'll start to smell soon, do you have any tips on how to keep smelling fresh cause I'm worried about stankin’

LMAOOO i love this ask…. i genuinely do have some good advice on this i think because im quite a Sweaty Fella & come from a family of similarly sweaty and stinky guys LOL

my main advice is

1) find a GOOD deodorant and consider antiperspirant if it doesn’t bother u. lots of guys use old spice and love it, personally it breaks me out so i tend to use the irish spring speedstick antiperspirant (it’s also dirt cheap) and also a spray deodorant to refresh. i’ve tried natural deodorants like native or tom’s and they really don’t do much. i personally just say stick to the cheap stuff because it usually works and smells decent!

2) GOLD BOND!!! especially if ur heavier set / particularly in the thigh and ass area. this shit SAVES me during the summer from diabolical swamp ass. i keep a travel size bottle with me at all times. slap some in ur underwear in the morning, between your thighs to prevent chafing, and really anywhere that sweats more. again u can go with the cheap shit it works the same.

3) if u do use cologne, don’t overdo it. you do NOT wanna be the guy who smells like he just sprayed a whole can of axe on himself. one spritz per shoulder, one on your lower half, and maybe a spray/walk through if you really need it. better yet, use an aftershave and put a dab on your wrist, rub your wrists together, then on your neck.

otherwise just shower often & use a good soap (i usually do an unscented soap to wash my body first then a scented one/body wash after)

zenigata in ep 4 of twcfm, first half behaviors aside, goes from trying to shoot Lupin square in the chest the second he sees him to reciting fking SHAKESPEARE to him come ON. what does that MEAN. and then he tries to kill him again HELLO. wipe the hotsauce outta your eyes and take a deep breath in, man

like he fucks fujiko in a purely transactional sense sure but all of that convinced me he wants to not only fuck but marry AND kill lupin. in ONE scene.

and then that energy's just. gone. poof. there's barely enough there for it to get to the same level it does in most other lupin media. his reverse-oedipus twink son stole all of it and i'm only a little salty, i swear.

anyways i want koike zeni to go on a disgustingly complex tirade about why he needs to get rid of this peacocky little shitheel in an unnecessarily intimate manner to some random cop npc "sir this is a stakeout" style, but instead he's just "where's lupin. where's this axe guy. okay axe guy fucked off, goemon stand aside so i can arrest lupin."

listen, he's allowed to be the cool cold hardboiled cop guy, but that's hardly enough for him to compete with the rest of the koike gang. lupin's a diabolical little shit (unchanged). jigen's willing to explicitly die for lupin's schemes and that's fun to him. goemon will train until he fucking keels over. fujiko is the Baddest Bitch.

on the flipside, for the most part, you could replace zenigata with literally anyone else and it'd hardly change much.

if there's any medium to execute The Obsession to its fullest extent in, it's this. they could totally amp up the Tragicomedy in the koike stuff, but they seem to be avoiding "comedic relief" zenigata like the plague even though that is, without a doubt, a massive part of what makes zenigata Zenigata in the first place. he's the best cop but he's an absolute trainwreck of a human being. basette nailed it, actually--

When possible, a dragon will create a grove of dragonleaf trees, a force of defenders it can use itself or loan out to allies to help ensure loyalty. A dragonleaf tree in the middle of a town is both a great defender, and a threat to remind them what may happen if they betray the dragon that watches over them.

A dragonleaf tree can live up to a thousand years, lasting for much of the lifespan of even a dragon. The ritual to infuse a dragonleaf tree does have a temporary cost, as the dragon must sacrifice the use of its breath weapon for a full month, a short time relative to the dragon's lifespan but still a period where it must be very careful. This limits the number of trees a dragon can produce, as it must hide its temporary weakness with each tree, ensuring that the times it is vulnerable are spread out and go unnoticed.

What is your muse's Pokemon team?

Very well. Here is the thing. After an admittedly dreadful delay keeping this in my askbox, I will give it a try since it sounds like a fun challenge but it should be noted that I don't have any substantial knowledge concerning Pokemon. So this is basically me blindly exploring the corresponding wikia and hoping that placing some Tristan-related keywords in the search bar grants me any luck. The teams are apparently made of six members. (Yes. I had to search that first. Just so we are clear about my lack of expertise concerning the franchise) 1-Serperior.

This classy, slithering, giant-snake fellow, is allegedly literally based on french nobility. So I had good fortune with its existence. Not much to explain here. It says that "It can stop its opponents' movements with just a glare..." and that "They raise their heads to intimidate opponents but only give it their all when fighting a powerful opponent." and I suspect Tristan would approve that attitude. 2) Noctowl.

This will come as a surprising shock. I have been awfully silent on the issue since I began writing for my associated vampire but the forgotten truth of the matter is that...Tristan is linked to owl imagery sometimes. Beyond that? It says that "Its extremely soft wings make no sound in flight. It silently sneaks up on prey without being detected.", "If it flips its head upside down, it's a sign that it is engaged in very complex thinking." and "With eyes that can see in pitch-darkness, it never lets its prey escape. Some even call it the emperor of dark nights.” All classic owl but also Strix-related, secrecy, mastermind and domination allusions. Every member should have one of these birds of prey. 3) Haxorus.

Only the third one and I'm already struggling to find any relevant choices. So...The way I see it, this is a dinosaur with axes as part of his head. There is something inherently cool about that. I believe Tristan would agree with that assessment. Can I actually directly associate it with him in any way? Yes I can. We see Tristan hitting the mark at axe throwing during flashbacks. It appears that this peculiar looking beast is a controversial figure inside the universe. Some descriptions express: "Every time Absol appears before people, it is followed by a disaster such as an earthquake or a tidal wave. As a result, it came to be known as the disaster Pokémon." while others argue: "Absol has the ability to foretell the coming of natural disasters. As a result, it was mistaken as a doom-bringer." Two reasons why I think this is a suitable choice: 1) There is a certain constant duality about Tristan between "offering salvation" to his people while feeling perfectly comfortable dispensing plagues and wars upon the rest of the world to achieve their goals. While not misunderstood like this creature seemingly is, thematically both sides of the coin work. 2) Tristan would see the utility of a being capable of warning him of possible imminent dangers. The Ariane of the group, so to speak. 5-Chandelure.

Cursed candelabra. Why not? The descriptions reads "The spirits burned up in its ominous flame lose their way and wander this world forever." Darker than I assumed this franchise to be, I admit. But not everything about this choice is diabolical. Tristan would also like to have something to offer warmth with when the freezing winds intrude. Just...At a cautious not-burning-your-spirit-forever distance. So this appeals to both the monster and the gentleman. 6-Latios/Latias.

I was hunting for something related to family and these two appear to be brother and sister so...The red one for Aurora and the blue one for Tristan? This one is pending confirmation. I should consult with 𝔍𝔲𝔩𝔢𝔰 if Aurora would like to have the matching, jet-like...Bird? Dragon?

Up this time will be Sorrel from A Feather in the Forest unlike all the other characters, whom are interviewed during the start if the main story, this one will be from at the end of the prologue.

Are you named after anyone?

Me? I would say ‘yes’, but I don’t know if I feel right doing so, as my name is a relatively common one.

When was the last time you cried?

The last time I seriously cried was just over a year ago. I heard there was an accident on one of the game trails. Caine…his leg was crushed by a falling tree. Only way to get him out was to amputate. They got him back to the village, but between the shock and blood loss, no one thought he would last the night. Cried and prayed, hoping for a miracle. Al-Gia heard…praise be the great deity.

Do you have any kids?

One. [lowers voice]Can you keep a secret? I’m not supposed to tell anyone, but you seem trustworthy. On my last hunt, I found a newborn crow in an abandoned camp. I consulted the Thá. She allowed me to raise it, but I have to keep it secret from the rest of the village. You see, there is bad blood between us foxes and the birds of the forest. So please, don’t tell anyone. Only me, Caine, and Opal(our long ruling Thá) are supposed to know (Also, what do you think of Fen as a name? I think it’s a nice name to have).

Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Oh no. I would never be sarcastic…all the time, that is.

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

I notice if they are from Fernstan, or another village. Being a hunter means I spend quite a considerable amount of time in the forest, and I sometimes see hunters and border guards from the other villages.

What’s your eye color?

Golden-brown.

Scary movies or happy endings?

You,re telling me that you can make pictures that talk and move? I can take scares, but I would like to also see things end on a positive note.

Where were you born?

Here in Fernstan village.

Do you have any pets?

No, I do not. On another note, is that what they are called? I know that the Thá keeps insects in the spring and summer months.

What sort of sports do you play?

Competitive archery and axe throwing.

You must not be from around here. Having community members who do nothing but education is a concept that is not one found in this forest.

Make your own UberHood with all the townies!

Yes! You!  At this stage, to my knowledge, you can only do this the lazy way when creating an Uberhood new, from scratch. It may well be possible - but IDK. The ancestors... well thats a hard job which I dont think anyone wants to tackle. Not all of these subhoods add the NPCs, but most do. Its hit and miss. But thats part of the fun I guess!

Bon Voyage

I don’t think there are clean templates. Can someone let me know if there is one? Twikkii Island and especially Takemizu Village are diabolical. Three Lakes gets a pass (a mountain pass, hahaha). Just use the ones that ship with the game, god. Unrelated, ProfesionalPartyGuest has done a good job at making Locals which are less terrible. click on the hood names earlier to find em.

Thanks to @knut-rocketman who helped me with putting this list together over discord when I was off my face on Vertigo medication (I made my game into a BFBVS several times). Jawusa’s empty hoods might also be of use.

Honestly, you do Finney Blake (who’s supposed to be Johnny Blake? Ew?) justice. That boy was quiet and cunning. He is, quite literally, just pacing around, looking for a weapon, for a way out.

Also Finney is like…a cancer? Which fits him and he shares the same birthday with his sister (that’s his twin right there) so I guess he’d share the same birthday with Gwendolyn!

Oh! And Bruce Yamada is a cannon character. I didn’t expect that like none of the boys would show up. No mention aside from Bruce like…what?

And Finney Blake is so…morbid? I mean he’s kidnapped so obviously but like??

Also Finney Blake is NOT shy with his fatphobic comments to Albert AT ALL. The amount of times I literally cover my mouth in shock…

Finney Blake has these moments where he forgets what he’s doing, like he isn’t in control of his conscious(sorry if I’m not explaining this right). He dissociates a lot in this book.

i really alternate between making finney a cancer or a capricorn, mostly bc it’s REALLY funny depending on the fic. but finney blake is a cancer in canon😔

i tried to include the dissociation or frequent dissociation and/or nightmares and sleep paralysis in can’t remember to forget you, i think(?) or at least in a few unpublished drafts.

ALSO YES FINNEY IS SO FREAKING UNHINGED😭 the fat phobic comments were diabolical when i read it in like?? 4th grade?? i was in genuine shock. i, for obvious reasons, have included that in any fics but he has a smart mouth and THAT is always evident i love him so bad.

also? i tried to include his very obvious fight or flight mode in most of my fics—he is, at his core, someone who takes stock first and immediately looks for a way out; the movie made it in that finney can’t fight back, because he doesn’t know how—and he learns. i try to keep a healthy medium.

and diva bruce (i honestly can’t remember much of bruce from the books but i remember adoring him so much)
