There was a secret code in college, an unspoken rule if you will. Never, ever, by any means, fall in love, or sleep with your professors. And yes, they might be handsome, and they might be only seven or so in age difference. But never, EVER, be romantically or sexually involved. Â And this rule stuck by most students and more professors. There were young girls who always fawned over the brooding, tall, and mysterious drinks of water known as their music or mathematics teachers. And boys that would whisper among themselves who was the hottest, Ms. Kim, the science teacher, or Mrs. Park, the criminology professor.
But you? You swore the minute you only got barely accepted to the collegeâsince you were late for the cutâthat you would not look at your teachers in such an inappropriate and unprofessional way. Besides, you were one day going to be joining them as a professor once you pass your training exam. You always wanted to teach visual arts and Theater and this college has allowed you not only to study such majors and degrees but also train so that one day youâll be able to teach them yourself to others.
You worked hard, studied instead of sleeping. Sleeping instead of hanging out with friends. Your life revolved around your work, and yet when you met the stand-in, since your normal teacher was away for a couple of weeks. It was like your brain no longer understood how to function. And the worst partâŚ
Theres two of them.
Both are strong, tall, and deviously handsome. One had a voice so deep you could feel the vibrations of his vocals every time he spoke, and the other had eyes as piercing as the sun and a smile that could kill. To say they were your ideal type would be an understatement. And what was the icing on the cake? They are huge. Beefy broad shoulders, thick biceps and thighs, heavy chests. They were like super soldiers, and oh, how that made you swoon. Wanting nothing more than for them to pick you up and throw you around as if you weighed nothing. If you were to stand in between them, you surely would be caged in the best way possible.
You met them during the first term, six months ago. And every day since was a little unspoken game of cat and mouse. You didnât flirt at first, still wanting to be professional but as your late hours at the library grew or the time spent sitting in an empty classroom for some quiet as your dorm was too loud to considerate became more common. Mr Park and Mr Jung came to your aid to help you with your studies, of course. First, they would sit at the front of the classroom while you were at a row of desks. They would explain about being a teacher, cheat sheets of sorts, and tips for when to do your first training shift. Helping you understand the ins and outs of navigating college students. And then it slowly moved to one of them sitting next to you, Mr Song, you could smell his cologne, the musk of his natural scent. His arm would brush yours, occasionally making you see how his large biceps were. And they were definitely the same if not larger than your thighs. Your body felt so small next to him.
And then Mr Jung sat on the other side of you. The feeling of being caged was coming to reality, and it was burning a fire inside of you. You tried to brush away these feelings. They are your professors, after all and one day, co-workers, not some school crush to dot over. But they were so smooth-talking, charming, with flirtatious smiles, and your mind couldnât help but wonder since they are so naturally big, were they big else whereâŚ
âYou get all that peach?â Mr Jungâs voice snapped you out of your lewd thoughts, redness suddenly pooling on your cheeks. You see thatâs why Mr Jung had given you such a nickname, Peach, was because of the shade of pink your cheeks would be whenever he made eye contact with you. Deep down you knew your professor shouldnât be nicknaming his student but then again you didnât take the classes they taught, and the longer you thought about it, the more okay it was to flirt back. After all, you were all adults.
âYou seem a bit distracted today?â Mr Song grumbled behind you, making a shiver dance down your back. My god, if that man sounded like that on a regular, you wondered what his bedroom voice sounded like, or even better, his morning voice. âIs something bothering you?â he asked, placing his large hand on your shoulder, stopping you from turning to the side to see him. No, instead, he slowly rubbed his fingers deep into your tense muscle, making you feel relief surge through you. You almost forgot to answer the question, too focused on the older man's hands doing wonders on your shoulders.
âI-I uhmmâŚâ You were lost, suddenly feeling Mr Jungâs hand grip the top part of your thigh, rubbing circles on your exposed flesh where the hem of your shorts are. âItâs just. M-mr JungâŚâ
âDonât worry, Peach, and I said already. Call me Yunho. We are going to be co-workers soon. You should address me and Mingi as such.â He included his friend and co-worker at the end, letting you know what youâve been told for the thousandth time, call them by their first names. âYou seem tense, darling. What could ever be the cause of so much tension in this pretty body of yours.â
Your eyes snapped open now, looking at Mr Jungâuh you mean Yunhoâin his intense stare. Did he just call you darling? Now, your face was definitely redder than a tomato at this point. âY-YunhoâŚâ
Yunho groaned, biting his lip while rolling his eyes slightly. he had to pull back for a second before returning his hand to your thigh. âGod, my name sounds so good when you say it.â
You looked away for a moment, feeling your heart was going to beat right out of your chest. The next thing you knew, a pair of large beefy arms pulled you by your waist until your ass was placed onto a board, hard, lap. âSay my name Doll Face. I wanna hear what my name sounds like coming off your pretty lips.â All barriers were gone and lines were being crossed. But none of you cared anyone. The flirtation became too much, more so for the men it seems and with Mingiâs lips finding the sweet spot behind your ear you couldnât help but moan;
âMingiâŚâ
âFuck, thatâs it. Such a good girl.â The hold Min had on you got tighter, and his huge biceps caged your back against his heavy chest. Your mind was spinning at the sheer thought that all Mingi and Yunho had to do was squeeze you tight enough that youâd break. They are so much bigger than you, stronger than you. They could throw you around and do as they pleased to you and all you couldâwouldâdo is lay back and take it.
âWe knew youâd be such a good girl for us peach. Just look at you, head empty already when we have barely touched you.â Yunho chuckled, squeezing your thigh, letting his long fingers slip towards where you needed them most. âyou want us to touch you, darling? Teach you some real lessons?â He emphasized the word ârealâ, all knowing that He and Mingi were going to teach you anything but a real lesson in this moment.
âPleaseâŚâ you retched out for Yunho, gripping his perfectly iron button-up, pulling him towards you. âPlease show meâŚâ He drew his lips to yours quickly as Mingiâs bit down onto your shoulder while his hands loosely move to open your legs, letting Yunho cup your entire wet cunt with his huge hand. You were most definitely in for a night of your life.

Thoughts on the transformers one movie?
Me? you wanna here my thoughts about the TF one?
SURE!!
First off the movie looks amazing, the ost is incredible, the voice acting is pretty good and the writing is Awesome! The pacing a little fast, the story movie kinda quickly which is fine, Iâd rather have a fast movie then a slow one.
You can tell the actors really cared about this movie, I have never seen actors get this much into the marketing for anything! Brian Tyree Henry did an amazing job for Megatron, by far he was the best.
There was plenty of action! The fighting and weight of the character was great, you can tell they were really hitting each other hard. This movie had a lot of love put into it. Incredible watching experience.
D16 was the star of the show! In my opinion at least! They were able to capture the innocence and the loss of that innocence really well. The slight character tics also didnât get past me and did a lot to add to the emotions the character were showing.
I loved this movie, and I will be watching more as soon as I can! I accidentally missed that end credits scene. We were just too excited and wanted to talk about it!
!!SPOILER REVIEW!! âŹď¸
Alright! This movie fulfill something the fans have been asking for year for. The Orgin of Optimus prime and Megatron on the big screen. We all knew it was going to be a tragedy! Whether you ship Megop or not, we can all appreciate the loss of someone close, when we think we know someone but then seemingly out of nowhere, they flip. But I assure you, the flip was not out of no where.
But before I get to the main two I want to talk about everyone else first.
ELITA AND BEE
Sorry Oplita fans, Elita is on a path to get that promotion and get that bag! Elita is in fact a mean boss babe, but that not all she is. She is a strong and determined worker. Even tho she is one of the lower classes bots she does everything with a sense of pride, no matter what sheâs doing. She cares a lot, her gruff and aggressive attitude may try to hide it but I see past that. Although she really didnât have an arc to her character you know? Idk I might have to watch it again.
Bee is the goofster to the group. Very cute and very funny. He really didnât have an arc either and I wish he did. Bee was mostly there to serve as the comedic relief. And honestly I think we all needed. He wasnât ever too annoying or obnoxiously stupid. I very much enjoyed him!
Sentinel Prime
God what a fantastic villain he was! Kinda sad he died. I always knew Dee would kill him. He was just as pompous and trashy diplomat as I hoped. Such good lines from him. He died like a dog and couldnât be happier. We didnât get to see his alt mode which made me kind of sad. Heâs like a mega church pastor! They are usually secretly evil. Him turning the tides of the battle with the primes is something else dude.
ORION
Oh god here we go. His character was just fantastic! Iâm really happy we are getting an origin story. His personality being the adventurists, rowdy, troublesome questioner is so cool! And such a big contrast to the usual iterations of Orion pax. Heâs stray kitten coded. His young age makes him optimistic, selfish and naive. It also causes him to mistreat Dee; having the best intentions of course, even tho he completely disregards what Dee feels. It started off as him just wanting to be seen and help his people to everything quickly getting out of hand and him losing his best friend. Iâm sure he regrets making Dee participate in that race. His issue just being childlike innocence and being self centered.
DEE (aka Dean. Aka Megatron.)
Oh god yâall arenât ready for this one!
Dee starts off as the goodest boy. Will of whimsy! But like most villains all it takes is one bad day. Oh Dee you poor thing. If robots could cry he would have like four times in this movie.
Good Christian boy. Followed the rules, didnât ask questions and had unwavering love for the Primes. Megatronus and Sentinel being the big two.
Itâs cool to think of Dee eyes being a dead giveaway to how heâs feeling. Betraying him even in the final scene.
âNO, I WANT TO KILL HIM!â
This part! This is my favorite part of the whole movie. Dee had the audience full attention. The desperation, sadness and anger in his voice. Fantastic! As D16âs friend, this needed to be addressed immediately. But I can understand Orion not knowing what to say or how to comfort him, cause as a kid yourself what do you even say to that?? Orion always knew something was wrong, he was the questioner, but to Dee this was his life. To Orion, Sentinel Primeâs betrayal wasnât that deep. But this was Deeâs life, he followed them without question, just to see his hero struck down in cold blood. His anger is something Orion canât comprehend, he never knew he had that in him. I think Orion could probably right this off the first time but it wouldnât be that last time D16 would start scaring Orion.
Iâve always heard people describe Dee has flipping his personality. There is no flip. Dee is deceptively passive. His whole life has been flipped and need Orions support. But sadly that moment would never show up. I donât even think Orion would know how to go about it since he was so focused on his goal. My mom said Orion was a bit irritating because ďżź he couldnât properly read his friend.
At first I thought he had carved this into himself. Which is bad, really bad. But I think Sentinel doing it to him actually makes it worse. He hasnât just mutilated Dee once, But twice. He took something he liked, something that was special, something that was a symbol of him and Orions friendship and made it cause him pain. Itâs like the last of his innocence being taken away from him.
So when he was trying to kill Sentinels and Orion was holding him back he said âHe needs to die.â And that last part sounding so emotional hits so hard. He loved Sentinel. You can hear the hurt and sadness in his voice for megatronus prime, sentinel the other miners, but mostly for himself. And almost all that hurt Orion had to say âyouâll be like sentinel.â
Oh brother that was no the move. Immediately upon it being compared to ďżźsentinel by his best friend, the rage returned. Blinded by his rage he accidentally shot Orion.
Finally we have Megatron. Bro is on his Kratos arc. Sentinel was driven by greed. Megatron is driven by his hate and anger.
This by far the best transformers movie. I think ever.

I've been thinking about how Lambert, Eskel, and Geralt all deal with the trials and how it shapes them into the people they would grow to become.
Lambert remembers his past. He is angry, upset, bitter, and vindictive. He's got this fire in him that is only stoked by the pain and suffering forced upon him. He remembers the boys who did not make it: the hell they all had to go through, and he has a complicated relationship with Vesemir that surrounds it. Lambert does questionable things that Geralt is bothered by in his grief and anger. Geralt calls him out for killing in cold blood, needlessly and mercilessly.
Lambert avoids Vesemir at Kaer Morhen and mocks him when he is not around. He may come off as childish and like an asshole, but Lambert knows what he feels. Lambert doesn't lash out because he can't control his emotions or because he doesn't understand the path of least resistance. He knows. He chooses to avoid conflict with Vesemir at Kaer Morhen by keeping out of his way. He knows he can't control his emotions effectively if he is face-to-face with him for too long. He knows, and he isn't stupid.
Lambert talks to Geralt about the trials and the injustice of it all. He probably looks up to Geralt, hoping his brother feels just as angry about it as he does. He went through the Trial of the Grasses twice for Christ's sake! Why is he not more angry? Why is he so apathetic?
And Geralt brushes him off time and time again. Such is life, is his attitude. We all went through it, he says. Geralt can't be upset because there is nothing he can feasibly do about it. He didn't choose to be a Witcher. He wouldn't have chosen this life. He would have some other job somewhere else, just like he told Regis. He can't change the past. He can't go back and fix something he never had control over in the first place. Besides, they canât inflict the trials upon a new generation of kids, not anymore. Itâs in the past now, so why dwell on it? Whatâs done is done and thank god no other kids have to suffer the way they did. Itâs over. Itâs time to move on.
Geralt doesn't enjoy fame. He tells Eskel this in To Bait a Forktail. Geralt is the famous twice-grassed White Wolf. He is The Witcher. The famed Geralt of Rivia. He has expectations piled upon him the size of mountains. He's got to be the perfect Witcher, he's got to be a loyal brother, a lover, and a best friend⌠Geralt had expectations put upon him that set him aside from the rest since he was a kid. He hates it. Underneath the banter and the wit, Geralt accepts that this is his life, but that doesn't mean he likes it. He tolerates it because it is his reality and nothing more. If he thinks about it for too long⌠maybe it will consume him.
"You remember her?" he asks Eskel about his mother.
Unlike Lambert, Geralt hardly knows what it means to live another life. He doesn't have that following him like it does with his brother. What little he remembers is not enough to erase the apathy drilled into him at such a young age. Maybe he has a more strict moral code than say, Lambert, (or if you want to bring in the other Witcher schools, most of the Cats and the caravan) but that doesn't make him the most ethical person on the Continent. How could you be? After all that he has endured, the things he was taught? Where do you draw the line? He kills monsters, but like in Velen, it's hard to see where the line's drawn in the sand.
Humans are monstrous too.
Eskel, however? Maybe he's jealous. He did everything right, why shouldnât he be? He is superiorly skilled in magic, one hell of a good Witcher. He has a reputation for it. Maybe he's not as kind as your average person, but he gets the job done. He's got a more relaxed demeanour than his brothers which reveals itself in his reputation. He's reliable. He is damn good at what he does. So why does Geralt get all the attention? The fame? He clearly doesn't want it.
While Lambert got turned into a vindictive prick and Geralt became a quick-witted nihilist, Eskel? He's exactly who he should be. Why shouldn't he be praised for it like his brother? Why should he be forced to bend over backwards to accommodate people and keep up with his reputation? For what? His skills? Ha! He lives in the shadows of Geralt who's notably a good Witcher, but he's not quite as good as Eskel.
Eskel was beaten shaped into the man he is today because of the trials, his training, and everything else. Should he not get credited for that too? Why does someone who doesn't even want his fame get all the recognition? Genetic predisposition? Shouldn't his hard work be given more consideration and praise? Thank god Geralt survived the hell of being subjected to two rounds of mutagens rather than one, but why should that overshadow the efforts, the time, and the sacrifices that everyone else around him has made? Eskel is exactly the man that they intended him to be by the end of it all. He is an efficient hunter, he is outstanding with signs, and he works diligently for his reputation. He did everything right. He does everything right. Why is that not enough?
TL;DR: Lambert, Geralt and Eskel handle their traumas in different ways. Lambert gets vengeful, Geralt gets apathetic, and Eskel gets borderline jealous. (And it breaks my heart)

Chapter 12 - Drunk on Life
Series Summary:
In the 1950's, Alastor met the woman he would eventually marry but unfortunately his Radio Demon persona went for her soul rather than her hand. He has to learn what it means to love, and cherish, without possessing and he does. Their relationship is beautiful, strong, unbreakable . . . but he carries a dark secret through their marriage for decades until eventually he has to face the consequences of that secret and leave her, without warning, for seven years. He returns, finding her at the Hazbin Hotel, and has to convince her to forgive him, while being literally bound to secrecy, unable to tell her any of things he now is desperate to explain to her.
(This is a duel timeline fic, timestamps will be a the top of every chapter.)
Pentagram City
1955
The months that followed their first evening together went by in rapid bliss for Alastor and Mina. Life was still busy and kept them apart most days and nights, but they usually spent at least a couple evenings a week at either his place or hers and would often meet up for an outing or two in between.
Abaddon had been a little . . . judgmental, at first. They didnât care for Overlords any more than Mina had initially. They had a strong moral code against owning another personâs soul, and they had thought Mina shared the same opinion, though truly, she only really cared about her own freedom. If someone else was dumb and gullible enough to sell their own soul, she had no problem with it.
The angel also vocally disapproved of the circumstances in which Mina and Alastor had met, and how poorly Alastor had approached their relationship at first. Minaâs friends, especially the two Alastor had dealt with the night he tried to obtain Minaâs soul, had also been cold and distant with him when he first began spending time at Minaâs.
But Mina repeatedly made the point that the angelic flames of The Pit would have devoured Alastor long ago if he still held any ill intentions towards her, and eventually, everyone accepted the two as an official item. Abaddon and Alastor, however, remained tense around each other whenever they had to cross paths, which Mina tried to make sure happened as little as possible. Her adoptive parental figure and her new beau were polite, at best, but both made it very clear they were only being so for Minaâs sake.
They were approaching six months together and Alastor was a bit surprised with himself in how quickly he had adjusted to life with a relationship. He had been sure when he invited Mina to his radio tower that it was what he wanted but he had expected and had been fully prepared for it to be more difficult than it had been. His brief past experiences had cemented the idea in him that he was not an easy man to be romantically involved with and yet Mina seemed neither bothered nor put off by his . . . differences.
As a teenage boy, there had been one girl. A beautiful, high class young woman, who had been seeking adventure on the wrong side of town and had found Alastor. And while he had very quickly noticed he wasnât as all-consumed with desire for the opposite sex like his peers seemed to be at that age, puberty had its affects on even the likes of him. She had taken his virginity and it had been a very stressful and embarrassing experience for him. When it became clear that he was never going to be more than a wild youthful experiment to her, he had shut her out completely. The girl had been bitter then, not ready for their fling to end, and had insulted his mother and his race. She didnât know how close she had been to being his first kill that night, but he got her back a decade later by dumping her father and her husbandâs bodies in the swamp for the alligators. By the time he himself had perished by gun shot, she had drunk herself into liver failure, and once they were reunited in hell, he had disposed of her soul like one did when they took out the trash. He didnât even bother putting her in his broadcasts.
In his early twenties, his mother had set him up with Estelle. It hadnât been terrible. She and his mother got along well, and it made his mom happy to see him with someone. Settling down, as she had put it. Estelle was sweet and he had known her, at least at a distance, since he was a boy. Quick marriages were common then, but he held off on agreeing to anything of the sort, and in the end, had been very grateful for his cold feet. It came to light that she was in love with another man, while her family was pushing her towards Alastor for his fairer complexion. They had convinced her that it would give her future children a better chance of being considered white if she married someone with even lighter skin than her own had been. Alastor hadnât been heartbroken. He hadnât been in love, or even âin lust.â But the idea of being used that way, for that purpose, as if he and Estelle were just breeding stock, had repulsed him. He broke ties with her and her family after that. He hadnât even truly been angry, just relieved the farce was over. They never crossed paths again, not even in the afterlife, and she therefore never crossed his mind.
He had spent the rest of his life as a bachelor. Not that he purposefully avoided romance, but he also didnât pursue it. And it was an incredibly easy thing to dodge when it wasnât being sought after. The kind of loose women that did occasionally come onto him at the speakeasies held no interest for him other than as dance partners and if any other women had any desires for him, they were too modest and ladylike to show it, and he missed all the signals.
It was only after his mother had passed, and he began his killings, that he reflected on his single life and realized he was rather quite grateful for it. A lover, especially a wife, would just complicate things and bring little in the way of additional happiness. Â
In death, as an Overlord, the concept of a partner had become so far removed from his mind that he was truly no longer capable of recognizing those long-forgotten feelings by the time he had met Mina. So much so that he initially misread his own desires to be with her as a desire to own her soul.
He had been terribly nervous that first evening together; at least at first. But after just a few minutes in her presence, he had forgotten his trepidation completely. Mina was able to meet him step for step the way no one had before. Forget everything they had in common and all the logical, objective reasons why they worked as a couple. She could read him. Mina could tell when he was genuinely happy or putting on a front, she could tell when he got agitated, she could tell when he wanted affection, and most importantly, she could tell when he would rather not be touched at all.
The amount of desire he felt for her was far more than he was used to. Alastor had wondered if it would quickly burn out after their first time in bed but that had proven to be quite the opposite. As Mina became more confident and aware of what she herself liked, so did Alastor. She was such a force of nature in every other aspect of her life that it surprised him to find her to be such a submissive little thing in bed. Though she had her playful, sassy moments, especially if she was the one initiating things, Alastor found her willingness to let him take charge in the bedroom very rewarding. It meant he was never pushed passed his own boundaries and could largely focus on her pleasure, and those things combined helped him find much more enjoyment out of sex than he had with previous partners. And if he wasnât in the mood, if something had pissed him off or his attention was simply too absorbed in something else, Mina never made an issue of it.
Mina had even helped him become more tolerant of his tail; that awful little appendage he had on more than one miserable night sawed off his body. Through fur, skin, and bone, he had gritted his teeth in a desperate attempt to be rid of it and regain a semblance of control over his body, only to have it regrow the next morning, like a parasite he was doomed to eternal existence with. The perfectly healthy, fluffy extension of his spine had been an embarrassing and insulting constant irritation to him until he had discovered just how much Mina liked it. Suddenly, he had a reason to tolerate it, at least under one specific circumstance. And when under the covers, if Mina reached around and stroked it while he was inside of her . . . well, that wasnât as horrible as he had imagined it would be.
What made him the most comfortable with her was that she expected nothing of him, ever, except his company when he was free to give it. Mina had no desire for more power; she wasnât an Overlord like himself and therefore could neither be a rival to him, nor would she ever try to use him for her own advantages. She wasnât needy and didnât demand anything of their time together. When he was alive, there had always been pressure; for marriage, for a family, for him to be a provider for someone but Mina clearly wanted none of that. She just wanted him. Exactly the way he was, nothing more, and nothing less. He never had to put on a performance for her and he never had to hide what he was from her.
Their relationship had proven to be so outstandingly easy and enjoyable. Alastor was almost embarrassed at how simply . . . happy he was these days. How incredibly wonderful the last six months of his existence had been.
Usually, they made plans for when they would next see each other, but they were also both becoming comfortable with stopping by unannounced. Alastor, of course, had been the first to pick up the habit. It had excited Mina the first time he had done it and that had been enough for him to continue doing so, and he encouraged her to do the same.
It was on an evening such as that, that Alastor approached Minaâs front door, and could hear the sound of her lovely singing voice from the outside. He went very still at first, concerned about unwittingly making himself a victim to her siren powers, but then relaxed when he realized there was none of the unnatural pull that came with it.
Mina was simply singing for the sake of it and Alastorâs smile turned further upwards when he realized he recognized the tune very well.
The hearth is cold
And my belly it aches
To keep your heart warm
I would watch my own break
Time is a killer
A beast to conclude
It sneaks in the night
And feasts on our wounds
So hold your breath
And bite your tongue
My love
I will hold you til' the morning comes
The night is young
And the darkness long
But my love
I will hold you til' the morning comes
Alastor stood at her door listening for a moment before he turned to shadow and slipped in through the open windowsill, coming to stand in the corner of the living room. Minaâs back was turned to him, seated at her small piano, as she slowly played a few keys along with the tune.
Alastor had never heard this song played with an accompanying instrument and he felt his ears tip to the side with pleasant curiosity.
Our shelter is here
We are safe and sound
No witness to bare
No fear let around
The dawn is nigh
Tis bright and anew
The dark it will lie
Morning will be true
So hold your breath
Lets make our amends
My love
I will hold you til' the darkness ends
The night is young
Yet the stars will descend
And my love
I will hold you til' the darkness ends
Mina sounded weary and sad as she sang the final verse and Alastor suddenly felt like he had intruded on a very private moment. Shame tried to weasel its way into his thoughts, and he dismissed them the best he could. Mina had given him explicit permission to enter whenever so neither of them should feel embarrassed.Â
Still, he chose to quietly clear his throat so as to not startle her.
âJaysus!â she screamed, and jumped out of the piano seat, literally clutching her chest, but her look of shock quickly turned into a smile when her eyes landed on Alastor. â. . . . Mary, Joseph, and the wee little donkey!â she continued with a laugh as Alastor grinned back at her. âYou frightened me half to death, love.â
âMy apologies,â he said, coming to stand by her. âI hope Iâm not interrupting anything too . . . personal?â
Mina glanced down at her piano for a second before looking back up at him.
âYou didnât feel anything, did you?â she asked, concerned.
âNo, I feel quite alright. Should I not?â he asked in return. Interesting how little control she felt she had over her power. It was unnerving, but fascinating.
âItâs nothing, just lost in my own head,â she said, and then flirtatiously let her arms wrap around him, âbut Iâm suddenly feeling much better.â
He obliged her a kiss, letting it linger for a moment. It was what he had come here for initially, though now his interests were set on other things.
âYou know,â he said as he pulled away just enough to read her expression, âmy mother used to sing me that song when I was a boy.â
âW-what?â Mina stammered, her expression that of pure surprise.
âMmmm hmmmm,â he said, âshe was quite the fan of yours.â
Mina pulled her arms away from him, but she didnât look upset, just shocked.
âYou never told me you actually knew my songs before.â
âAh well, you caught me. To be honest, it took me a while to put two and two together and then I just wasnât sure of the best way to bring it up. But you have also never offered to play me any of your own songs before.â
Mina laughed softy and sat back down on the bench, facing away from the piano, and Alastor sat next to her.
âSometimes I forget how famous I was there for a time when I was alive. I â it wasnât . . . itâs not exactly a time worth remembering.â Then she wrinkled her nose. âYour mother sang you that song? Itâs a bit dark.â
âAll of your songs were, if my recollection serves me correct. Though I must admit, as much as I adore you now, it was my mother who was your fan back then, not myself. You were a bit before my time and Iâve always been more into jazz than folk music.â
âWell I wish I could commend your mother in person, sheâs the only one Iâve ever heard of who recognized it for a lullaby rather than a love song.â
It was Alastorâs turn to be surprised.
âItâs not a love song?â he asked.
âNo,â Mina said with a mock offended laugh. âI never wrote those. I sang them, sure, but I never wrote one. When the Morning Comes was the first song I ever made up. I used to sing it to my sister when we were kids.â
She was running her hands absentmindedly over the piano keys, and Alastor could tell she was purposefully looking away from him. He was a master at hiding his feelings, and over the last few months had come to know Mina intimately well. She was masking a great deal but regardless, he could still read her expression and tone.
âYou must have loved her very much,â he said quietly.
Mina shrugged. âI loved my family.â
The way she said it made it sound like an incomplete sentence to Alastorâs ears.
â. . . but?â he prodded.
She side-eyed him and rolled her eyes.
âCan we talk about something else?â
âCome now, cher,â he said, scooting closer to her, âIâve held nothing back about my past.â
Mina still remained silent.
âYou loved them,â he repeated her words, âbut I take it they didnât love you back?â
She took in a long, slow breath.
âI suppose they did when I was very young. But in the end?â she finally looked up at him. âI horrified them.â
Alastor could see the glow of his red eyes reflecting back at him in her vertical pupils. Her soul reflecting his. Horrible, yes, that was the right word for her . . . at times. And so very perfect for him, all of the time.
âI love you,â he said, and watched in adoration as his reflection became larger as her pupils dilated. How expressive those lovely eyes of hers were.
âYouâre just saying that because of the song,â she said, breaking eye contact.
She looked ashamed and now he was confused.
âMy dear, I donât understand,â he said, lost and a little annoyed at her dismissal of his rather large confession.
âThe song!â she said, getting more upset now, and began to speak in a rush. âIt affected you. I didnât mean for it to, but it did, and now youâre saying that and you donât really mean it. And thatâs fine, I donât expect you to feel the same way that I do. I shouldnât have been singing out loud anyway. I just wasnât paying attention and-â
âMina,â he interrupted, âI didnât feel anything when you were singing. Why would I? Unless . . .perhaps you were singing it as a love song?â he teased.
âOh, do shut up,â she huffed.
âI love you,â he repeated.
She whipped around to face him and he just smiled back at her.
âSay it again in an hour,â she demanded. âJust to be sure.â
âAlright,â he said, raising an eyebrow. âIn an hour.â
Alastor turned dramatically and glanced at the clock on the opposite wall, showing that he was making a point of checking on the time. Then he turned back towards her, leaned in, and kissed her.
âAnd again in the morning,â he said as he pulled away, before immediately pressing his lips to hers again. âAnd every day after that.â
She lost herself in him after those words. Everything was a blur; his mouth on hers, her hands on his body, his voice ringing in her ears. Being with Alastor was so much more than what she had ever dreamed sex could be like. She was drunk with pleasure; it felt perfect, it felt right.
They were in her bed and Mina already couldnât remember if they had moved rooms by walking or if he had teleported them there but their clothes were off and his face was between her legs and nothing else mattered anymore.
She was much less shy about him going down on her now and she eagerly rocked her hips against him as he lapped at her wet slit, pushing herself harder into his mouth until she could feel the sharp edges of his teeth against her sensitive flesh. He never bit her there but she had come to crave a little pain when he fucked her and loved the feeling of his sharp fangs scraping against her, not enough to make her bleed, but enough to make her feel the danger of it.
His slid two fingers inside, curling up and stroking her soft and spongy spot as he gave her clit a hard suck before turning his face and biting her just to the side of her sex. Alastorâs teeth dug in properly there, sinking into her flesh and she felt a new source of wetness as her blood began to flow.
He continued pumping his fingers into her, fucking her with deep slow strokes as he lapped up her blood, alternating between running his tongue over her clit and the red and weeping teeth marks. It was messy, leaving streaks of blood on her inner thigh and his chin, mixing with the wetness he was coaxing out of her cunt with every thrust of his hand.
Mina reached for his antlers, grasping them at the base, feeling them thicken just a little at her touch, watching them spread just a bit higher up at her attention. She held on, continuing to rock her hips, unabashedly watching as he devoured her bloody pussy like it was the finest meal the cannibal had ever tasted.
His eyes met hers, and those burning ruby orbs held so much desire and adoration in them, despite the filthy things he was doing to her, and the combination of love and debauchery had her cumming around his fingers within seconds of making eye contact. She held his gaze for as long as she could through her orgasm, and he kept working his fingers inside her, but after a few seconds she gave in, flopping onto the mattress behind her and mindlessly blinking up at the ceiling.
She felt him pull his hand away, his sticky wet fingers holding her by her hip bone, as he placed a last gentle kiss to her bite mark and then her clit, making her shudder, before he crawled up her body. When they were chest to chest, she leaned up just enough to wrap her arms around his neck and pull him down to her, capturing his mouth with her own and tasting the mix of her own blood and lust on his lips.
âI love you,â she whispered, still afraid to say it any louder.
He laughed softly at her and kissed her on the nose.
âI must finally be getting good at that if youâre suddenly willing to say those words to me,â he teased.
She smacked him on the shoulder.
âYouâve always been good at that and you know it.â
His grin spread a little wider. He did know it.
âAnd I loved you long before today,â she admitted quietly, growing serious again. âAnd I think you know that, too.â
âI do,â he said, his grin still wicked but his eyes matched her sincerity. âJe tâaime aussi.â
I love you, too.
His voice was deeper and richer with those foreign words than she had ever heard it and she felt her body responding, another wave of desire making her core ache for him again.
She reached down and between them, feeling the velvety flesh of his hard cock in her hand before she began stroking him.
âSay that again,â she said, smirking as she earned herself a groan from him.
âJe tâaime aussi, Mina,â he repeated in the same low tone he had used before.
âIs that Creole?â she asked, still stroking him. He gave an involuntary thrust of his hips, his body craving more than the slow and tender treatment she was giving him.
âFrench,â he said, through gritted teeth. âJust French. I thought . . . â he trailed off, distracted and panting for air. âI thought you would understand it better.â
She shook her head. Without letting go of his now throbbing member, she spread her legs further, adjusting her hips to line his tip up with her entrance.
âTell me you love me in Creole. I want to hear your real voice when you say it.â
Alastor shifted his weight onto his elbows, his red eyes boring into her green and gold ones, as he moved his hips forward and took her invitation to slide his cock inside of her.
âMo linm . . . toi,â he said, once his length was buried as deep as he could go, his voice low and completely without the radio static filter.
She gasped at his words and the full feeling of him inside her. The bite next to her mound stretched and ached as she wrapped her legs around him, getting his cock to penetrate her even deeper and pulling his body more flushed against her own.
He began to move, shallow quick thrusts that stung a bit but also hit her just right. His body was thin, made of beautiful lean muscle, and if it werenât for his height, he wouldnât weight much more than she did. But still his weight crushed her into the mattress, pinning her beneath him and his hips smashed against hers, repeatedly rocking into her hard enough to make her bed squeak with each repetitive motion. She held on, moaning with every exhale, and anchoring her legs by her ankles at the small of his back, her knees just below his shoulders, and her hands tangled in his red and black hair.
âAlastor,â she said his name with a sigh. âTĂş . . . mo . . . ghrĂĄ.â
You are my love.
She said the words slowly, whispering each syllable in rhythm with each thrust into her. Though she still knew many songs in Irish Gaelic, she hadnât properly spoken the language since she was a little girl in her grandmotherâs home. Â
Alastor took pause, her words distracting him and his ears went rigid as he slowed his movements down until they were much slower and more gentle. The decrease in intensity felt almost teasing, letting her arousal build up even more, but it was the way he was looking at her that really built up the heat that was burning up her insides.
He brought his forehead to rest against hers and she let one hand come free from his hair to caress his cheek. She couldnât stop the smile that bloomed across her face, even as he crashed his lips into hers.
This slow pace he had started after brutally fucking her at the beginning was oddly more intense. For all the biting and scratching they often did, for how rough Alastor tended to get once he knew she was comfortable with whatever position they were in, this slower romantic kind of love making was almost a kind of kink for them.
âTĂş mo ghrĂĄ,â he repeated to her. His accent was off but the words were still perfection to her ears.
Her body tightened everywhere at once, and feeling her pleasure about to reach its peak, she dug her nails into his shoulder blades, whimpering as her orgasm hit her.
âMo linm toi,â she cried, barely more than a whimper as she came.
As she came down from her high, she let her body relax a bit and her legs unwrap from around his hips. With her knees spread wide, she sighed, and then bit Alastor playfully on his collar bone, spurring him on to get back to fucking her hard and fast.
He did just that, pounding into her with renewed vigor, and she swore his cock felt even bigger than before. She was overstimulated and it burned but she liked it. She wanted to feel this sweet ache for hours afterwards.
Mina caressed his body and kept her own as loose and relaxed as she could for him, stroking his ears, running her fingers up and down his spine, and cautiously, as if she were testing the waters, ran the palm of her hand over the swell of his ass before grabbing a handful of the tensed muscles there.
He didnât stop her, didnât change his rhythm in anyway, and she hummed with pleasure as she anticipated her next move.
Alastor had only just started letting her touch his tail, a few times as they lay in bed together, and once when they had been in the shower, but never during sex.
She spread her fingers around the base of it, letting it slide between her index and middle fingers, and felt him shudder above her, but he didnât stop thrusting into her. Mina purred, nuzzling her face into his neck, her sweet affections a stark contrast to the intense fucking he was still giving her.
He was chasing his own pleasure now and she wanted to lean into that, give him something new that she was certain he would get off on, if he would just let her do it.
âI love you,â she said as she wrapped her hand around his tail, letting her fingertips run through the soft fluffy fur there, and then began stroking it.
He gasped, rocking into her harder, his cock slamming into her cervix hard enough to bruise and she just purred louder.
âDo you like that?â she whispered to him, her voice as full of feminine lust as she could make it.
âFuck yes,â he groaned and she couldnât help the proud, deep chuckle that came out of her.
His tail was extremely sensitive, so she kept her grip light and let her strokes stay more towards the base. Her fingertips stayed on the underside, putting just a little more pressure along the bottom.
âMy love. My heart. Mo chuisle,â she said to him as she watched his eyes go black.
She pressed her fingers harder into the very base of his tail, along the bottom where it met his spine, and felt him cum as she did so.
The heat of his seed burned against her over stretched and aching inner walls, filling her up until she could feel it spilling out of her and onto the sheets beneath her. It was a wonderful sensation, to know she had brought him that much pleasure, and she felt proud of herself and her body for being able to do so. The aches and the pains, the blood and the bites and the mess, was all a part of that. Proof of their passion for each other and now, their love as well.
When he had finished, he curled up next to her and they wrapped their arms around each other. As amazing as the sex was, this part always made Minaâs heart flutter the most. Alastor was so dominating and controlling in bed so to get to have this softer side of him afterwards, when he didnât just let her touch him, but let her hold him. He completely surrendered to her then, let her show him total and unabashed affection as he fell asleep, even if for just a few minutes.
His head shot up, interrupting her moment of perfect bliss.
âWhat is it?â she asked, concerned at his sudden reaction.
âDo you have a clock in here?â
âUm . . . I think I have a watch in my drawer.â
He stared at her expectantly and she rolled her eyes at his strange behavior.
She rolled away from him and leaned over the edge of the bed, getting a watch from the top drawer of her nightstand.
âWell, my darling, would you look at that,â he said after grabbing the watch from her and studying its face. âWe were at it for quite some time. Itâs been over an hour.â
âYes, love, you are impressive,â she said with a smile but then Alastor huffed at her, seemingly annoyed. âWhat?!â
He sat up and shoved her shoulders until she was on her back, pinned once again to the mattress. She let out a little squeak of surprise, not afraid, but a little turned on again.
âDo you not recall your challenge to me earlier?â he asked, his smile wide and mischievous.
She gave a small nod, suddenly understanding.
âWell?â she asked with a quirk of her eyebrow.
âI love you,â he said.
And as promised, he stayed all night so that he could tell her again in the morning.

Author's Note
P.S. Everyone always has Alastor speaking French and/or Louisiana Creole - and I agree, with someone he was intimately and romantically involved with, I obviously think he would. But I can't have an Irish OC and not have her use a teensy bit of Gaelic in the bedroom, even if she's not fluent. And then have them speaking each other's languages to each other. There's just nothing more sweet and romantic than learning about the language and culture of your S/O.
The one line I didn't translate during the Chapter was "My love. My heart. Mo chuisle." Mo chuisle literally means "my pulse" but it more properly translates to either "my love" or "my heart" in English, so Mina is really just saying a variation of the same term of endearment in three different ways.
P.S.S. The song Mina is singing is one I wrote so if you hate it - that's why.

Can we have scenario of All Lookism boy in the bath house like they are having a meeting in the bath house. (Yenna is also there as Her papa is bathing her)
Eeeeeeeeeeee. You are a genius. You know that right?
My brain? Rotting. My response? Stupid. Execution? Poor. Glee at writing this? IMMEASURABLE.
SOS Men of Lookism: Urgent Bathhouse Meeting
Part 2 here
It's not often they're all called into a meeting together, and even less when everyone attends. They each receive a mysterious note with 'Urgent: meet at Central Seoul Bathhouse' along with their secret code. Guess it really must be important for this person to use their emergency signal.
The bathhouse was filled to the brim, and divided in 2 sides. There was no immediate obvious division, with members from all crews split.
On the right, a number of exceptionally breathtaking men were half sitting languidly in the water. The steam and heat left them hazy and half-lidded, their muscular bodies wet and slick.
Droplets of water and sweat sliding down their sculpted chest and chiselled abs, their skin and tattoos glistening in the low light.
They made for an impressive presence: Daniel, Jay, Vasco, Zack, Jace, Vin Jin, Johan, Jake, Samuel, Sinu, Ryuhei, Xiaolong, Eli, Warren, Hudson, DG, Gun, Goo, (young)Gapryong and Taesoo. Even newly joined member Jihan Kwak, and little Eugene was perched hesitantly amongst them.
Gun glances over, checking out each of his previous successor and the potential gathered here. He nudges Goo, wondering why his secret friends are scattered but receives a shrug in response.
Vasco and Jace are glaring at Vin Jin in his goggles with distrust. It pains them to be sitting on the same side as him, no matter the cause.
Even flanked by members of Allied, Daniel looks nervously at DG. He tries to discreetly make out a shape under the water. To see if it was as monstrous as he remembers. It still haunts him how big it was.
Xiaolong on the other hand was rearranging his towel - unusually covered up compared to everyone else. Ryuhei, ever the nuisance, tries to yank at his towel which results in slaps being thrown his way.
Meanwhile, Jake (pointedly ignoring Gapryong) and Sinu are eyeing up Samuel suspiciously. His chest... it was astonishingly large. Was it fake? Did he get implants? Sinu weighs up asking about it. Yeonhui never really showed an interest in chest sizes but it never hurts to ask...
Johan, to Zack's right, is trying to ignore the guy's concerned looks. He's here for business, not a reunion. Although Zack does seem popular here, and it didn't hurt to team up with someone else in case a fight breaks out.
Eli and Warren, ignoring the rest of the men, keeps Yenna entertained in the corner. They note the dirty looks thrown their way. Eli is the last person to want to bring his child into this, but what was he supposed to do? He isn't on the best of terms with Hostel right now and everyone else is here.
On the other side, surprisingly, sat most of Big Deal in their uniform. There were a few other recognisable faces - Logan Lee, Channing Choi, Alexander Hwang, Old Face, Olly. Even Jiho made an appearance. The rest of them merged together into one inconspicious, nameless group.
Lineman is the first to talk. "Thank you for all gathering here." He bows. "You've all had your moment in the sun. Gun, your chapter 438 was especially impressive. I've never seen the fans united that way before."
At this acknowledgement, Gun gives a smirk. His wet hair hanging seductively around his face, as if styled by the gods themselves.
"But we," Lineman continues to gesture vaguely to the side of him, "have been left out. Jiho here has been killed off with the worst glow down. Old Face is literally old face. No-one even remembers my name!" He clears his throat before he gets derailed.
"Now if you don't mind. Let's think about our next fan service scenario, and please involve us this time."

Do you think the writers realized that the way Gaius was flipping back and forth between "Merlin you're overreacting/seeing things that aren't there/trying to change the future" and "Merlin the situation is dire/this is definitely what's happening/you alone must do this ~dangerous~ thing"
Combined with the way he is a known sorcerer, not only to the court but to the king, kept like the other magical artifacts for times of injury to the royal family that his magic might be useful
Combined with the way this man picks and chooses when to help magic users escape Camelot unharmed or when to stand by and see them captured/killed
Combined with the way he gaslights the shit out of morgana even after he knows Merlin and Morgana know of her powers
That it All equates to a massively manipulative person????? He's doing everything he can to survive, damn the very real shit going on around him. Oh what's the best course of action for another child of magic born to the same lady Vivienne who's first child you snuck out of camelot? Keep her in the dark, keep her fearful and unaware of her dreams and her powers, but yeah she's Evil now because she chooses to see the good in magic and the evil in the king for killing it (which is just another plot issue but whatever nows not the time).
We can only imagine what Camelot looked like in the days of the dragons and all other magic kind, probably a lot healthier, more vibrant, more prosperous. Nevermind that Gaius got to spend his whole youth with that prosperity, Morgana (and Merlin) surely can't miss something she never had!!!!!!!!!!!
And Merlin! Sure he takes Hunith and Balinor's boy in, because he needs an apprentice, because the circumstances line up, because destiny, whatever the reason. And he cares about Merlin's life enough to sacrifice himself multiple times (only because Merlin is Emrys the god among men, immortal, sworn to serve Arthur the once and future king for all of time) But he does not really help Merlin in the following ten years. The boy who came to Camelot, the opinions he held, the care he had for others, that boy is lost or warped more like through years of Gaius' (and Kilgharrah before they just like changed his personality) careful commentary undermining Merlins beliefs and changing his actions. Then when said actions obviously work out poorly(think, self fulfilling prophecy episodes, episodes where Merlin is convinced to outright lie to Arthur's face, etc) then it's Merlins fault and Gaius is there to comfort him and then they share a funny little moment and everything's fine !!!
Like, did the writers mean to write it like this because ho-ly shit! That's how it reads every single episode. Merlin the young warlock would not have done these things. The boy he was in season one? When confronted with admitting his magic(the thing he was so self conscious of, but so proud of at the same time) or lying to Arthur to his face he would have spoken the truth. Gaius (and Kilgharrah) turned him into a man deceitful manipulative tool, bent on controlling Arthur without ever telling him the truth and letting him make his own mind.
Because that Arthur, the Arthur of season one, would have taken in the knowledge of both Merlin his friend, and morgana his sister, and stood up for them, helped keep them safe, accepted them and their magic. That Arthur clearly loved morgana and Merlin above all else, even though he struggled with saying it, he proved it in his actions. Merlin (through his mentors) TURNs Arthur from magic, when he was willing to save Mordred, willing to sympathize with magic users, to see their worth, to spare them if they did not commit crimes, willing to accept the help of a foreign mage in the caves, and willing to question his father To!! His !! Face!! About the knights code.
You're telling me Merlin would forget about these things, would lie to Arthur that Morgause lied, when he could have just said, hey she showed you your mum, but killing your dad isn't the answer. How FUCKING hard would that have been? This show made Merlin a bad guy, a man against his own kind. that's the real tragedy. Merlin, emrys, would never do these things in season one. He had to be convinced by his mum not to tell Arthur after will died. He was willing to share. The show themselves didn't want it, because it provided comedy(how does Arthur not see!!1!) And angst (how does Arthur not see !?!)

While I'm not crazy about the choice to take a Freudian angle in analysis here, Red Tornado's descriptions of the boys in Young Justice 1998 #1 do interestingly foreshadow their arcs, specifically during the Apokolips storyline.
Bart has "no concept of danger or mortality" and is "all instinct, no before-or-after thought." On Apokolips, he uses his newfound power of temporary self-duplication recklessly and ignores his friends' pleas for him to be careful. Circumstances lead to his scout dying, which means he "experiences" the death too. He goes into a coma in which he replays his own death over and over again. After recovering physically, he ends up making the considered decision to leave the team for the sake of his mental health, because being a hero "isn't fun anymore."
Kon has "a grasp of morality and ethics, capable of making basic judgment calls." During the mission to Apokolips, he fights with Tim about moral concerns--what to prioritize, whether Tim can be trusted. For Kon, there's almost always a clear ethical answer, and he will put what he believes is right before all else. His commitment to his convictions leads to the team splitting. As the leader of half the split team, he wavers between looking out for his friends and giving impressive but reckless orders. When everything falls apart, he will blame himself for Bart's almost-death and agonize over his fractured friendship with Tim.
Tim has "a highly developed moral sense" and is "the most natural leader." He is highly conscientious as the team's leader on the mission to Apokolips but has very different priorities from Kon's. He concentrates on "best use of resources, and duty and obligation," which clashes with Kon's more instinctual sense of morality. He makes practical choices and stands by them, disdaining following one's heart above a sense of duty, but at the same time he agonizes over his gray worldview and wishes he could afford a more singleminded approach to ethics. While captured and tortured, he has visions in which he is driven to break the moral code he lives by as a hero (no killing). After the mission is over, he feels so guilty for letting the team down by not maintaining their trust that he resigns.

Omg I just found your blog, and your art is amazing!!! I didnât know that Nightcloud and Mothwing was a ship until now, but cute gremlin Mudkit with his two moms were so adorable that Iâm hooked lol. For the hypokits, how about Jayfeather and Poppyfrost?
Thank you so much! I didn't know Nightcloud and Mothwing were a ship either but it was fun writing them in the perspective of a romantic relationship. And Poppyfrost and Jayfeather is an interesting combo! For this to work, a couple things would have to change in canon. But here are the kits!
From Left to Right: Pumpkinkit and Briarkit
First off, Poppyfrost comes to a hard decision and breaks things off with Berrynose instead of remaining mates with him. They try to remain friends to raise their kits together, but it definitely takes some getting used to.
Poppyfrost never forgot what Jayfeather did for her, and would try to grow closer to him as the moons went on. It took a bit for Jay to open up enough with her, but Briarlight's insistence to let her in and Poppyfrost's general kind-heartedness won him over in the end. He, Poppyfrost, and Briarlight became greater friends than they already were, and Jayfeather ends up becoming..a lot kinder and happier than he is in the books. The old Jayfeather is definitely still there and he's still concerned with the prophecy, but Poppyfrost and Briarlight enthusiasm are one of the highlights of his day and help him forget about his problems..if only for a little while. (Disclaimer: He doesn't improve his attitude because Briar and Poppy 'fix him', its his own choice to work on himself in order to be a better friend to them.)
Some minor changes here and there, but it remains mostly the same. Thereâd probably be subtle hints throughout the text that Poppyfrost was seeing Jayfeather as more than a friend now, but nothing overt. Jayfeather doesnât develop feelings for Poppyfrost until around...before the Great Battle ends? Heâs incredibly ashamed with himself since he still loves Half Moon, but Half Moon shows up and one of his dreams and goes âI died like a century ago, you can move onâ and thats that.
He doesnât actually do anything for awhile since pursuing Poppyfrost would be against the medicine cat code and well..his mom did the same thing. But alas, their relationship just kind of..happened. They were dating without knowing they were dating each other and things only progressed from there.Â
When Briarlight passed away it hit them hard, they were a trio and it felt like a piece of them had been ripped away. They comfort each other during this period, and share tongues frequently, discussing the best things about their departed friend. The loss is heavy on their hearts, but it makes them cherish the time theyâve been spending together.
Itâs in the Broken Code when the kits are born and hooooo boy is it a development. Poppyfrostâs kits were entirely unexpected for them and of course they were panicked (Jay was also angry at himself, for roping Poppy and his kits into this mess) They both came up with a plan to hide the kits true parentage from the clan. However, Jayfeather told Poppyfrost that he wasnât going to keep the secret that he was their father from his kits, not wanting to repeat what happened to him and his littermates. Poppyfrost agreed and some time later Briarkit and Pumpkinkit are born.
When Imposterstar starts exiling cats, Jayfeather is kicked out for being half-Windclan AND having kits with Poppyfrost which is revealed to the entire clan for the first time. Likewise, Poppyfrost and even their young kits are exiled along with him. Briarkit and Pumpkinkit hadnât even been weaned yet, and even some of Imposterstarâs most loyal followers are shocked that he would go so far as to punish the kittens. They survive though, and when Ashfur is killed Jayfeather and Poppyfrost are not only pardoned for their codebreaking, but the medicine catâs having no mates rule is tossed entirely due to how severe the whole Imposter situation was. Not everyone is happy that they went unpunished but nobody cares what they think; Jayfeather and Poppyfrost can be happy and raise Pumpkinkit and Briarkit in peace.
Pumpkin and Briarâs warrior names will be Pumpkinstem and Briarleaf.
#this has been in my drafts for awhile so if it looks odd that's why#sorry it took so long!#hope you like it#hypokits#jayfeather#poppyfrost#jaypoppy#moth arts#warrior cats#wc

Hey wanted to tell you I love seeing Rana on my dash! Can you tell little bit more about Rana? How does she view her relationship with her teammates? Does she have any family? What drew her towards Wyll?
oh stop this is so sweet omg đđđ Im glad you all like to see her bcus i love to show her off!! she's my little angel and the only tav i've had break past act 1!
I'll put most of this under the cut but I wanna put out a disclaimer that I came up with her background before learning abt anyone elses backstories so if she seems very similar to an origin character i swear its on accident đđ!!!!!!
Rana is a tiefling rogue assassin :)! Her backstory is that of a street urchin and after her mother died when she was very young, she spent a lot of time outside of her home. Her father wasn't very good at fathering and oftentimes they didn't even speak with one another despite living together in the same home. At the age of 12, she ends up stealing a little more than something that can be unnoticed and gets arrested. Upon her father hearing out her year-long sentence and hefty bail, he decides it's better to let her rot in prison for her sentence than to spend his little money on bailing her out.
Of course, Rana breaks herself out after 3 weeks and never returns to Baldur's Gate until the fateful day of the Nautiloid! She spends a lot of her time traveling the coast, running through different guilds and vowing to never rely on anyone.
With her backstory out of the way, she has a very interesting relationship with everyone! đ So for those who don't know, I played this story with my darling dearest bestie @katagawajr who has her own character Vaeril. To put her in Jordan's words, Vaeril's very much a disney princess-esque, think Anna from Frozen or Rapunzel, or if you're familiar with Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle!! (where as you have Rana who despite being fire coded is very much Elsa-like)
(and sometimes she teams up in a detective noir episode alongside Private Wyll Ravengard to uncover the mysterious explosive toys of Baldur's Gate.... but thats a side quest) (yes it's chaos).
Moving onto Origins, She's got a very funny raport with Gale. He's an obvious know-it-all but unlike most egotistical men Rana's run into, he has the facts to prove it. For my Blands mutuals, she's got a very Fiona and Rhys type of dynamic where they do get along but you wouldn't believe it from the amount they bicker. Vaeril also romanced Gale in this playthru so she's very much >:( hurt my best friend and ill kill you wizard boy.
Karlach is Rana's best friend. They have very similar backstories and although they didn't know one another as kids, they're very protective of one another. Lae'zel is also one of Rana's closest friends even though she's obviously more reserved, they get along very well on the battlefield and rely on one another. Halsin makes Rana nervous because he's just So Sweet and Asty is pretty much entertaining (they argue abt the best techniques to take people down quietly ofc). Shadowheart and her also get along albeit it's a bit more reserved because of Rana's intrinsic and initial mistrust of familal figures.
haha. onto Wyll. Which is probably the funniest of funniest stories. Originally, Rana was... very put off. On one hand, she's heard of the blade of frontiers and genuinely thinks what he does is great, but on the other hand... Wyll has a heart of gold and it scares her. When they have their talk on the beach in Act One, Rana sees that he's not this 'perfect hero' and that he has doubts just like anyone else- he put on a front just like she did. Keeping people at arms length was just... natural.
So yea, they develop from their as they do in canon and albeit his sweet nature, Rana's incredibly shy abt their relationship and answers virtually no questions unless pestered by Vaeril :). They wear Lover's Caress rings to protect one another, and once they get to Baldur's Gate, Rana is quite... stand offish with Ulder and anyone else who dares to be rude to Wyll.
Ok i'll cut my essay short but THANK YOU FOR ASKING!!!I love talking abt her im just . so incredibly shy. but i truly appreciate anyone who made it this far down the ask ily!! đđđđ
#asks#me when the challenge is not to make an oc thats very older-sister coded#for those who get the reference she's like if Naoko and Fiona fused and got a lot more edgier. LMFAO#BUT THANK YOU ANON!!! THIS WAS VERY SWEET TO ASK!!!! <333

Honestly, I wasn't surprised. I was hurt but I knew it was coming. (Ranting Again)
Why? Because if she's willing to do this than why wouldn't she do that? As Mick said "the code is what makes a young boy kill his best friend". Except it extends much further than that. As proven:
Now, tell me (I dare you), that these scenes are not the axact same occurrence, just years later. Why do you think that Ketch is so reluctant to admit that he cares about someone? Because he knows this corrupt sadistic bitch would make him kill them. She doesn't like her Hunters getting too close to anyone. And, especially, doesn't want them to see the error of her ways. Not that TFW is much better because, frankly they aren't. In comparison (AKA to Mick and Ketch) they'd seem damn near like saints but we're not talking about that, are we? Not only was Mick slipping from her iron grasp, so was Ketch. So, she felt the need to correct them. It's no different. And if the fantheory is right about a Mick x Ketch relationship in there later years of Kendricks is correct, I'm surprised she didn't do it sooner. Because I know she's the reason they broke up. Fuck her. Miss against happiness and anything decent. She took away Mick's childhood friend, Ketch's twin, and then she wanted one to kill the other. Reasons like this is why I hate her.
There should be a support group for the British Men of Letters because of the shit she put them through and made them commit. And don't even try to say she wasn't forcing there hand. There's only one way out and that's death. Also, did you ever think the reason why Ketch went along with it is because he knew Toni and Mick (his ex-lover and best friend) were safer dead than alive.
Which goes to show the truth about Dr. Hess and the fact that she had that whole thing planned before she ever contacted Mick to return to HQ. Ketch said he didn't do it and he doesn't straight up lie (only withholds information, not exactly the same thing). So, she made it look like Ketch had texted him, knowing far well that Mick (the caring soul that he is) would respond almost immediately, thinking Ketch was hurt or something. He did seem genuinely concerned and you know it. I wanted Ketch to kill her. Not then (that would make everything worse for them), but later. Like when Jody killed her. Ketch had every right and Jody didn't even know her. And then Team Free Will treating Ketch like he's a worse dick than they are when he was the only one who gave a genuine fuck about Mick. Might I remind you that it's Sam who sent him to his death? Which put Ketch in the worst situation possible. He had two choices: kill his best friend to save him from the code or let Dr. Hess do whatever she wants to him and knowing her, she'd make Ketch do whatever she decided on. He did the right thing. He saved him from the code by obeying the code. It was his only option that would save Mick and not make him just as sadistic as Dr. Hess. Sam nor Cas will never have the capability to care about Mick the way Ketch did and still does. Evidence? Tell me that this does not look familiar?
Can't get a good view of the suit but you can claerly see who he modeled it after. So, please, Ketch haters, tell me I'm wrong.
#i dare you#the amount of time i took trying to put this together#google and everything else didn't want to give me that suit#on either of them#but i found a way around it#rant post#british men of letters#spn 12x17#the british invasion#dr. hess#gillian barber#the code#tell me im wrong#mick davies#adam fergus#arthur ketch#david haydn jones#spn 15x03#the rupture#spn important friendships#spn important relationships#twisted facts#spn headcanon#timothy bmol#renny rawlings#darren adams#the code is what makes a young boy kill his best friend#i can see the choices and i choose to do the right thing

đ Tell me about an up and coming wip please!
đ Who's your comfort character?
𤯠What's a genre you struggle with as a writer (ex. romance, action, etc.)?
for the ask game? Hi!
đ I've got two fics currently; De spatio and ghost stars. Here's a lil snippet of both
Ghost stars:
A mix of gravel and mud stuck to Bumblebee's tires as he rolled slowly along the back road that led to Pleasant Meadow Cemetery, the thick liquid settling into the grooves of his tires. The Autobot's engine whirred softly, a ripple of discontentment going through him. Pleasant. What a joke. There was nothing pleasant about this place. It was just a grassy field with carved stones. There was no colourful glass murals or written life stories, no carefully crafted songs being sung by friends or loved ones to commemorate the lives of those passed. Indeed, there was nothing around that would indicate that the savior of Earth had been laid to rest here.
âThis place⌠ainât all that.â he sifted through various channels on the radio, trying to get his point across. âMy boy⌠deserves better, baby!â
His passenger, Mikaela, gently rubbed his steering wheel with her thumb, trying to comfort the Camero. One of Samâs old stuffed toys was tucked under her arm, Samâs carrier having requested that the young lady deliver the toy to his grave. This wasnât the first time theyâd visited together, and it certainly wasnât the first time heâd voiced his opinion. âThis is one of the nicest cemeteries around, Bee, you know that. Most of the world doesnât know what Sam did, so it makes sense not to have something super extravagant.â
Bumblebee growled in disagreement, digging his tires further into the moist road as his armor subtly shifted in anger. The world should know about Sam! The young human deserved recognition at the very least! He stood his ground against Megatron, something that most Autobots would never be brave enough to do. Not only that, but heâd killed the Decepticon leader! Heâd been so, so afraid, and heâd had the opportunity to take the easy way out and listen to Optimusâs command, yet heâd chosen to thrust the AllSpark into Megatronâs spark.
âAnd this is what it got him.â he thought sadly, pulling into the empty parking lot. It was early in the morning, the sky just starting to turn a rosy pink, âPut in a hole in the ground and left to rot, unknown by almost all the people he saved.â
----------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------
De spatio inter astra:
Starscream hadnât truly appreciated recharge until heâd arrived on Earth. The taxing demands of scouting and patrolling an entirely alien planet with strange weather phenomenon and air currents usually left him exhausted. This latest mission had proved no different, sapping his energy and leaving his wings close to trembling with how difficult it was to keep them from drooping.
Heâd been so exhausted, in fact, that heâd started to hallucinate. He thought heâd seen a Sparkling, of all things, nestled in Knock Outâs arms and letting out little chirps.
Maybe he should go see the medic, make sure his Carrier coding hadnât somehow been activatedâŚ
He blinked slowly as he came out of recharge, colour and sight returning to him as his optics came back online. Feeling well rested, Starscream stretched and made to sit up.
As he did so, a weight on his chassis shifted, a quiet âmrrmphâ coming from somewhere on his abdomen. The Seeker stiffened, unsure of what the best course of action was. Slowly, he sat up, propping himself up on his elbows.
There was a small form curled up on his chassis, a dull pink ball of barely segmented armor. Wings, much different from his own, hid much of the thingâs body. It shifted again, a tiny tail twitching in irritation at the disturbance. A weak EM field brushed against his own iron-clad one, sending a sharp shock of surprise down the Decepticonâs backstruts.
đ Charlie Watson my beloved â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
𤯠Mystery I feel like. I can't keep my damn mouth shut I just wanna go go go!

JJK Rant because I've seen the wildest argument of my life on Twitter and I can no longer be silent about it:
CW: talking about minorxadult ship,
I'm just,,, Idk if I'm mad about the take or just stun into silence because why did I just see someone say shipping Gojo â 29 year old, teacher who wants to protect the young of his students, the Gojo Satoru â with his 15 year old student would be more in character than shipping him with Geto.
They argued that the ship with a boy (once again, 15) and his teacher is somehow more healthy than the relationship between two characters within the same age group who still referred to each other as their one and only best friend even after their messy as hell falling out because Geto is a mass murderer...
Like,,, sweetheart,,, considering how sentient some of these curses in the show are, they're all mass murderers.... That was literally the argument Mahito made to Itadori. Itadori, the same character whose literal character arc is figuring out how to grapple with the fact that being a sorcerer means you have to be a little loose with your moral code. (Why do you think their power works through cursed energy, why do you think you have to be a little wild and crazy to be a sorcerer, why do you think Gojo is telling Megumi he has to be a little selfish as a sorcerer??? Do you think Gege is just pulling certain words and phrases out of his ass for no reason??? They're literally building towards a narrative???)
And before you even try to pull a "oh, but Gojo being a little fucked up by being a groomer would make sense in this world", you're still wrong because it goes completely against Gojo's character. Because while Gojo is the strongest in the universe, he also understands that strength alone won't get him everywhere. What makes you think Gojo, while in a position of leadership over Itadori (and also technically guardianship because remember Itadori is an orphan taken in by the school), would ever attempt to do anything romantic or otherwise with him?? Like what?? Mr. I Could Kill The Old Heads Getting In My Way, But That Wouldn't Bring To Peace My Students Deserve??? You sick in the head or something???
The thing is if you don't like Geto, that's fine. Some people aren't gonna like certain complexities in certain characters. But for you to fix your lips and say it's out of character to ship Gojo and Geto and then turn around and try to make Gojo a fucking groomer is so wild to me.

Book's "Read" In 2023
Ranking of the Audio Books I've "Read" this past year. This is my opinion on the books, as "Fun Garbage > Boring Navel Gazing" and books that may be objectively better written are not always fun or engaging to read. Sometimes a really good actor can make an average book sound really good.
List from 2022
Previous entries 2021, 2020. 2019, 2018, 2017
My Top Books/Series:
Rabbits - Terry Miles: If Ready Player One was good. There is a game called "Rabbits" being played that involves looking for "glitches in the matrix" in the world around you. The winner of the game gets an unknown wish. But this round of the game is off... something is wrong... people are dying... and our main character, her girlfriend, and their best friend are putting together the clues and finding out that there is more to reality than they first thought.
Under the Whispering Door - T. J. Klune: Asshole Lawyer dies and realizes he wasted his life. Finds himself in the waiting room to the afterlife, which is a little hipster coffee and tea shop out in the middle of the North West USA. He refuses to accept his death and lingers around the shop as a ghost... wacky adventures ensues.
Alice isnât Dead - Joseph Fink: Woman becomes a truck driver while searching for her wife?/girlfriend/so that she thought died. Until one day she saw said wife in the background of a news report. There are wicked cannibals on the road and a secret Area 51 town of murderous ghouls.
Dead Water - C. A. Fletcher: Small Island Town in Scotland gets a zombie outbreak problem. From the same writer as "A Boy and His Dog At The End of the World"... The main character is a woman from Scandinavia that married into the family from the island, she became widowed and remained behind on the island. She ends up looking after her orphaned disabled niece as there is a festival inland that the grandparents and most of the villagers left to see. The author loves the Scrappy Dog Companion Trope, and I am all for that!
The Emperorâs Edge Series - Lindsay Buroker
Conspiracy, Blood and Betrayal, (Forgotten Ages Saga), Forged in Blood (Part 1 & 2)
This is one of Buroker's first series, older than the Star Kingdom, Fallen Empire, and Dragon's Gate Series. Many of her archetypes are present, the main female character gets a crush on the Dark and Mysterious Badass. The Badass may be a killer but has a code of honor and a secret soft spot that he eventually trusts the main character with. Lots of Snarky back-and-forth dialog between all the side characters, and the main character can usually talk people into doing what she wants.
The Forgotten Ages Saga is a Prequel to The Emperor's Edge series, but I HIGHLY suggest that it gets read before Forged in Blood, as it introduces us to General Starcrest and it will be easier to understand what goes on in Forged in Blood, and reading it after Blood and Betrayal doesn't spoil the 'zinger' twist about their world-setting.
Super Powereds - Drew Hayes
Year 2, Year 3, & Year 4
Drew Hayes's first real long-form novel series. It shows some of the clunkyness of being a first series that would later be hammered out before getting to Villains' Code, Fred The Vampire Accountant, and NPC's/SS&S. It is also one of those series where the books get bigger with each installment, the 4th book could kill a cat. (suggest listening to the audio books on a higher speed)
It has a lot of collage tropes from the 2000's, young people with super powers going to parties and drinking while worrying about grades and studies. The twist really wasn't much of a twist, as we could easily guess who the actual bad guy was early on and that who we thought was the bad guy wasn't really bad... I don't really care for the "everybody is related" kind of twist, where like half of the cast ends up being from the same family and all this was some kind of messed up family feud.
It is a Young Adult Series, but it feels like the characters are Young Adults and not written specifically for a YA crowd. There is still swearing, violence, has dark themes but it isn't grimdark (like Cline's Ex-Heroes series). Explores topics like discrimination, not just the main characters being Powered, but there is a plot line where one of the main character's father was disgraced hero because he was having a secret affair with an other guy. It isn't so much that this hero was outed as being gay that caused the son to be mad at him, but that the father left them and broke contact with them that causes most of the rift in their relationship. There is a spin-off series called CORPIES that follows along on the Father trying to get back into the super hero game that takes place along side Book 3.
Other Favorite Books/Guilty Pleasures
The Grief of Stones (Goblin Emperor, Book 3) - Kathrine Addison: It was left a little ambiguous if there is going to be more in this series near the end, or if the author is going to change protagonists for another in later books. Third book in the Goblin Emperor Universe, Second in the Witness for the Dead series. The Witness for the Dead books can be read together, they are shorter together than the GE book. I wouldn't mind there being an on going series where new protagonists take over the narrative as the series progress and expand on the world building. The Witness for the Dead series is made for getting people familiar with how people live in their world... because we can't escape death no matter how rich or lucky you are.
Villains Vignettes Vol. 1. (Villains' Code, Book 2.5) - Drew Hayes: A collection of short stories that take place in the Villains' Code Universe: Including a Halloween-Town-themed story and a Christmas story where Santa is real and Fornax has to save the North Pole. Another is a better version of "Glory Road" (see bottom of list), but it is Ivan/Fornax instead and he was summoned to save a planet from demons... and leaving a trail of bodies behind.
A Fallen Empire Omnibus (Books 1 - 3) - Lindsay Buroker: Aftermath of a Revolution War that did not plan out what was to happen with the freed systems once out from under Empire Rule, and lawlessness spreads across the galaxy with entire systems left to defend for themselves. A former Revolution Army Pilot wants to head home to her daughter, but travel is expensive and the only known means of escaping the planet is by a freighter ship that was once owned by her mother. However, a Empire Super Soldier Cyborg got to the ship first and has somewhere else he wants to go. (This is a Lindsay Buroker Book, and considering her other "ships" from the other series, the main female lead gets the hots for the troubled and dangerous badass)
Eyes of the Void (The Final Architecture, Book 2) - Adrian Tchaikovsky: The Architects are on the move again, and even places that were once safe from attack are no longer. A race of people in the past left artifacts behind that once repelled the Architects. Our protags find themselves on a planet that has a city of these ruins upon it that is being systematically devastated. Humanity is fractured and don't hold an united front against the threat.
Noble Roots (Spells, Swords, and Stealth, Book 5) - Drew Hayes: Their is an estate that holds a tournament of challenges with prizes at the end for the winning team. Not a whole lot to say, one of those books that you will love if you already read the ones that came before it.
Farilane (Rise and Fall, Book 2) - Michael J. Sullivan: The one book this year that had me crying at the end... But by that point I've spent 10 books following that one character's journey and got attached to the main character of this one.
Kingdoms at War (Dragon Gate, Book 1) - Lindsay Buroker: Sweet Sciencey-Magic. A setting where magic acts more like science fiction. The Dragons created gates that allowed them to travel between worlds, the dragons left one world but the gates remained behind. The gates and the metal they are made of are very valuable and wars are fought over the possession of the gates, even though the means to use them is unknown. A young man and his mother figure out how to use these Gates to some degree and become wanted fugitives. (one of the villains is a r-pist, so this is a very much adult series)
Flight of the Magpies - K. J. Charles: Get some good smut in with your Supernatural Victorian-London Crime-solving.
The Sandman (Act 3) - Neil Gaiman: The majority of this installment involves Orpheus, Morpheus's son: their past, why they fell out with each other, and Morpheus reconciling with his son.
The 13th God (Cycle of Galand, Book 8) - Edward W. Robertson: Dante and Blaze are still trying to save the mortal realm, this time it requires having to kill a God and they have to team up with another villain to do so. I love this series... but even at this point, I hope it gets wrapped up in the next couple books.
Travel by Bullet (The Dispatcher, Book 3) - John Scalzi: If you like the early Dresden Books, give this series a shot. Uses the unique "people can't die of unnatural causes" rule, while people try to cause crimes and find work-arounds to killing other people or themselves.
Good Books, But Not Everybody's Cup-of-Tea
Song of Night (Dying Lands Chronicle, Book 2) - Jacob Cooper: Read the first book a few years ago. There is a "redemption" arc in this installment, a new prominent character who was a villain long ago becomes good and is trying to fix things (like Caeden from Licanius Trilogy or Malcolm from Riyria)
The Mad Mage of Sevendor & Marshal Arcane (The Spellmonger, Book 14.5 & 15) - Terry Mancour: The Mad Mage is a collection of Diary Entries from Minalan recording personal events that happened during Marshal Arcane. It comes off as if these entries could've been slotted in between the earlier chapters of MA, when Min isn't the person telling the story but the secondary people around him getting their first-person spotlight chapter.
Seas The Day & High Gloom (The Bad Guys Series) - Eric Ugland: Morally Gray Main Character, human gets Isekai'd into a MMORPG. The Gods of Good and Evil fight for his favor, and he frequently pisses off both of them. Don't get too attached to side characters.
Explorer of the Endless Sea & Fate of the Free Lands (Empress of the Endless Sea, Book 2 & 3) - Jack Campbell: Read Book 1 a couple years ago. A prequel to the faux-fantasy series Pillars of Reality. The series as a whole heavily reminds people about the Prophecy that a savior will be born to free the people from the oppressive governments that run their world. This series is about the woman Jules, who's decedent would one day be that person.
Resolute (The Lost Fieet: Outlands, Book 2) - Jack Campbell: Continuation of one of my favorite space series, with the most realistic space battles I've came across. This is like the 20th book in the canon, starting with The Lost Fleet: Dauntless. They are short books, can be consumed in under 12 hours each.
Vampire Hunter D: Riser of Gales, Vampire Hunter D: Demon Deathchase (Vampire Hunter D, Book 2 & 3) - Hideyuki Kikuchi: Riser of Gales is D coming across a hidden Noble fortress. In the recent past, a group of kids from a nearby town went missing exploring the fortress grounds, but showed up with loss of memory as to what happened. They did not come back whole. At least one graphic scene of sexual abuse to a minor... Demon Deathchase is the book that Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust was mostly adapted from.
Architects of Memory, Engines of Oblivion (The Memory War, Book 1 & 2) - Karen Osborne: Classism in Space. The non-citizens are poor and live as indentured servants to the mega corporations that govern society. Aliens seek out an artifact that contained the memories of their people, lost during the war they had with humans that they ended abruptly. Has a "Darth Vader" twist between the antagonist and the main character.
Priest of Lies (War for the Rose Throne, Book 2) - Peter McLean: Punk street thug, to mob boss, to wealthy lord... and not by choice. Strings are being pulled, people he once depended on can no longer be, and former allies turn as they become angered by the MC's rapid jump in status, "becoming what he once despised."
Doors of Eden - Adrian Tchaikovsky: in some paces the walls between the multiverse is thin. LGBTQ book, the main character is trying to find her lost girlfriend that fell through one of these Doors into another world. The other is a transwoman that discovered the method of creating these portals. Rich asshole bad guy.
Malefactor (War with No Name) - Robert Repino: The Sad and Depressing books about animals turned humanoid. Peace is fragile between the animals and humans, a wolf pack in the woods is stirring up discontent and rebellion.
The Elfor One (The Code Series, Book 3) - R. R. Haywood: Final book in the trilogy. They free the ships from the shadow organization and bring equality to the Lower 40's.
Stormbringer (Elric Saga, Vol 2), The White Wolf (Elric Saga Vol. 3) - Michael Moorcock: Elric fights Nazzis.
A Wizardâs Guide to Defensive Baking - T. Kingfisher: cute story, not as fun as Too Many Curses, but on the same quality and reading level. Main character should've been older (16-18ish) because she acted more like a sheltered adult rather than a kid. Bread Wizard. The Yeast Beast is the best character.
Second Hand Curses - Drew Hayes: a group of cursed story characters team up to create a task force to resolve various curses around the literary world. Hunting down wicked witches is their specialty.
Posthumous Education (Fred The Vampire Accountant, Book 8) - Drew Hayes: I love the idea, a collage for the supernatural. Kinda getting sick of Quinn's schemes tho after so many books. Dude's gotta go, please, sometime in the next couple books, Drew.
The Halloween Moon - Joseph Fink: If you liked Gravity Falls, Goosebumps, and Welcome to Nightvale. A story for middle-school aged kids that isn't too childish for older people to enjoy.
God of Neverland -Â Gama Ray Martinez: Peter Pan goes missing. Michael Darling, now an adult, worked for the Magical Detective Agency. He is sent to Never-Neverland to solve the problem. Jaded Adult Visiting a Magical Land of Fantasy ruled by The God of Children.
Average Sauce
Ithaca - Claire North: It tells the story of Penelope through the voice of Hera and her omnipresence in the story. There is a lot of "men are either scum or useless" messaging and that powerful women get punished unfairly.
Pandoraâs Jar & Stone Blind: A Novel - Natalie Haynes: Pandora's Jar is closer to an Essay on Women in Greek Mythology. Stone Blind is a retelling of the Medusa Myth, and why she was different from her other sisters and the loss of her compassion after her death.
The Archived - Victoria Schwab: Girl and her Family move into a spooky old hotel that was converted into apartments. Girl is a ghost-buster. Runs into two guys around her age that become potential love interests. One of them ends up the villain, and it isn't the nice guy.
Gallant - V. E. Schwab: A girl from an orphanage is found by a long-lost relative and moves to a creepy house. There is something spooky living in the shadows of the estate grounds. Author needs to work on Villain Twists.
Persephone Station - Stina Leicht: Main characters are women and non-binary on the LGBTQ spectrum, working as a team of Special Ops Mercs for Hire. The natives of the planet are being killed by the colonist humans. Main characters are sent out on a suicide mission to save the natives.
Sword Stone Table: Old Legends, New Voices - Swapna Krishina, Jenn Northington: Retelling of King Arthur but with Women, LGBTQ, and POC taking the roles of the main characters. Some of my favorite versions is the Latino Baseball Player, A Wild West Prospector turn Mogul, and Merlin visiting the AIDS clinic as a fake magician.
Musashi - Eiji Yoshikawa: The Badass Swordsman. Based on a real person, but this is extra meme. Written in an era of wanting to glorify the Empire of Japan around WW2. Lots of elements went on to be used more commonly in fighting manga, movies, and other media from Japan. Adapted into several TV series and a manga (Vagabond).
The Sheep Dragon (Unconventional Heroes) - L. G. Estrella: an in-between book. Most of the stories follow around Spot The Dragon and a scheme of Timmy's to breed sheep with special wool properties. The series has a habit of getting lost in the minutia, and over explaining things.
Cosmic Delivery Boy -Â L. G. Estrella: Over explaining things looks to be a quark of the Author themselves. I don't always mind it. Explaining how the Cosmic Hamsters rule over multi-dimensional shipping, how the MC's new job works, and the dynamics of the different worlds they visit. I am not nearly as invested with the world and characters as I am with the author's Unconventional Heroes books.
The Great Courses: They are Educational, non-Fiction.
Albert Einstein: Physicist, Philosopher, Humanitarian (The Great Courses) - Prof. Don Howard
England: From the Fall of Rome to the Norman Conquest (The Great Courses) - Prof. Jennifer Paxton
King Arthur: History and Legend (The Great Courses) - Dorsey Armstrong
The Iliad of Homer, The Odyssey of Homer, The Aeneid of Virgil (The Great Courses) - Elizabeth Vandiver
Readable/Passable
The Red Sphinx (The Three Musketeers) - Alexandre Dumas: A political, historical fiction novel taking place in the same timeline as The Three Musketeers, they do not appear in this novel. Lots of names, intrigue, and court politics done by a cast of over-the-top characters. The only real "downer" part of the book was a chapter on the Plague. The version I read had an additional story at the end to resolve an abandoned love story plot, it was better/more memorable than the book itself.
Archetype - M. D. Waters: An 'updated' version of The Handmaid's Tale. Women are having fewer children and the poor women are being bought and sold as slaves. A technique was discovered to restore the fertility of women, but is only accessible to the super rich. Main character is one of the women in the program, placed there by her husband; she has holes in her memories and her memories were not lining up as they return to her. (expect a lot of gaslighting, manipulation, and "women vs. men" flag waving)
The Collective Works of Arthur C. Clarke -Â Arthur C. Clarke: Clark was one of those authors that didn't understand women IRL. It is reflected in a majority of his stories that the women are not the main characters through most of his career, and often were treated as passive and either only going along with the men, being in the way, or only pined after when absent. Like most Old School Science Fiction - many stories had cool concepts, but poor execution.
The Dark Decent of Elizabeth Frankenstein - Kiersten White: It would've been a better story if it wasn't restrained by the Young Adult genre. It wanted to go grimdark, but had to hold itself back when it would've been better to just full-send it. It depicted Victor as someone who was a sociopath since childhood and Beth was adopted into the family as a "nanny friend" that became dependent on him. She would lie for him when ever he "slips up" and was a passive protagonist for most of the story.
Bottom of the Barrel
Lord of Light - Roger Zelazny: Masters of hyper advanced technology that have taken over civilization using the names of old Earth Gods. The idea that "the gods aren't that much different than the people that created them" but in a science fiction setting.
The WORST
Glory Road - Robert A. Heinlein: Ex-Pat, Ex-Soldier Libertarian gets Isekai'd into a Conan The Barbarian Type Fantasy World. Tip toes around the idea of "is this advanced tech or is it magic?" Man solves problems of backwoods Fantasy Stereotypical world through being a dick to most people (a typical Heinlein Hero).

Hey! Had to take up your offer! XD And I am so glad you loved your matchup btw! <3
If you do Star Wars Matchups, lol, who'd I get? đ§đ§đ§
I am almost 22, Apr 1, she/her, bi, curly brown hair, and green eyes. I usually wear comfy things like hoodies, sweats, leggings, and graphic tees, and I hate dresses and dressing up. I am pretty stubborn, I sometimes hate when I know someone else was right about something. I'm pretty introverted, and it takes me a long time to get used to people. I am pretty creative, I love arts of all mediums, and I love writing and reading. I feel more 'confident' online than I am in real life, finding it hard to really bond with anyone.
Likes: Anime, manga, art, cats, sharks, snakes, Brendan Fraser movies, Disney, pop figures, plushies, collecting rocks/stones, reading, writing, writing fanfic, reading fanfic, bull terriers, rottweilers, corgis, collecting figures, ice cream, Indian food, and video games.
Dislikes: Heights, loud noises (fireworks, large crowds, movie theaters, etc.), horses, swimming, people, concerts, the cold, liars, bullies, Attack On Titan, spiders, bugs in general, getting dirty, and knives
Thank you in advance!!! <3333
Hey! Sorry it took me awhile to answer to your ask, but here's your matchup bby <3
(Lmao seeing AOT in your dislikes made me crack up but I can relate)
I ship you with...
Anakin Skywalker!
When I read that you were introverted and had a hard time bonding with people, I just knew Anakin would be the fit for you!
In that regard, Anakin understands you very well, especially at a young age. He also had a hard time interacting with others due to his past and rougher nature. I think that would bring you two closer rather than the other way around; since you both understand that in each other, you can better understand your personal borders. With someone to finally relate to, however, you would be drawn to one another.
Honestly once you two build trust between each other and become friends, I think you'd bring that crazy side out of each other that just makes you two an unstoppable pair. Anakin is also a very stubborn person so you can be quite a tornado of energy for poor Obi-Wan to manage.
With how turbulent his life is, I think Anakin would really find enjoyment in finding refuge in your 'quieter' hobbies such as art and writing. Being a Jedi, he never really has time to just slow down and relax, to enjoy the time that he has, so he'd find it really soothing to do so when he spends time with you. However it would probably be difficult to convince him to give your hobbies a shot, what with how stubborn he is. (But I'm sure you can win him over).
You both dislike being dirty, so that's a big thing you two get along on. ("I don't like sand")
Once he knows about your love of collecting plushies and stones, he'd probably bring some back for you from the different planets he gets to explore during The Clone Wars. It would be so you 'remember him'; and I think that's when you'd notice you both feel a little something for each other... <3
Once Anakin realizes his feelings for you he would not be afraid to hide them, even if his confession would be a bit clumsy. It would be straightforward and sweet nevertheless, and he'd probably offer you something a bit more special, like a bouquet of flowers he had PadmĂŠ help him pick out. Despite the Jedi code he does think his feelings are justified and deserve to be heard, you've brought so much good into his life. However the question has been killing him, enough so that even his fellow captain has noticed he seems to have been out of the game lately.
If you tell him you love him back... Hoo boy. Get ready to receive constant gifts and to be showered in praise and gifts. <3
He'd be a very protective lover but very sweet nevertheless. He just wants the best for you and can never say no to anything you ask of him, so long as it makes his sunshine happy. While he's away you'd probably spend lots of time with PadmĂŠ and gradually warm up to her, considering her open-mindedness and wise demeanor. She'd probably figure out what's happening before either one of you tell her and promise she won't say a word. She's just happy to see Anakin and you are happy with each other. <3

I GOT THIS
1. Bruce Wayne - Chris Argent
so i canât just right off the bat (ha, i made a pun) make Scott as Bruce, yes, theyâre both the main character but as a whole?? no. they wouldnât work. Instead, i assigned Bruce as Chris Argent. they both have similar familial trauma, though in Chrisâ case itâs losing his wife, and having his dad and sister try to constantly kill him. Other than that, this is a father-figure character to a lot of others, heâs Allisonâs dad and heâs constantly known as the ex-werewolf hunter veteran. he regrets and is very guilty about his familyâs role in the deaths of innocents that he wants to do good and he followâs Allisonâs new code to protect instead of hunt. plus, theyâre both weapons and fighting experts. their main difference is that Chrisâ main weapon is guns and that heâs killed before, and probably would again if it came to it but only in a tough situation.
2. Alfred Pennyworth - Dr. Alan Deaton
i was legit having trouble placing Alfred anywhere with a TW character. Alfredâs the older mentor who knows best and has everyoneâs back. heâs everyoneâs favorite. and he doesnât hold back. the closest in TW is Deaton, also known as the druid emissary to the McCall pack and a father figure to Scott. heâs the guy that gives people advice, he tells them what they need to do to win. he helps take care of them if theyâre hurt or near death. heâs the closest thing we got to Alfred. but no one could ever be Alfred.
3. Dick Grayson - Scott McCall
now THIS i can get behind, we have a young, slightly fatherless, youngster who's shoved into this world despite never asking for it. Bruce built Robin, he made Dick Grayson into the Boy Wonder, and even if Dick is a better vigilante than himâ that didn't make it okay. Scott, meanwhile, never asked for the bite, never wanted to be a werewolf, and spent the entire first season trying to be normal again. they're both the young one in the beginning who eventually develops into a leadership role, one so big that their previous leader sees how better Scott/Dick is in the role. even though i didn't put Derek as Batman, Derek is the last main Alpha before Scott, and he recognized that Scott was already an Alphaâ albeit a symbolic one for his human pack and then progressed into an actual True Alpha that Derek stood by him. he didn't care that this kid is younger than him, he knows that Scott is the better man and the better Alpha and he follows him because he believes in him. Derek's speech to the twins about Scott near the 3B finale still stays with me, "When there's no chance of winning, he keeps fighting. When all hope is lost, he finds another way. And when he's beaten down, he stands up again!" you go over to Bruce and Dick, and its said time and time again that Nightwing is what Batman should have been. he's the better version of Batman, what Bruce wanted to be. but he couldn't so instead he raised someone else to do it. and i can see Bruce letting Dick the reins for Gotham, if you haven't noticed Dick's his favorite kid.
4. Barbara Gordon- Allison Argent/Lydia Martin
first duo pairing! not only are Allison and Lydia best friends, but they kinda more or less embody Barbara. let me be more specific:
Batgirl!Barbara - Allison
Oracle!Barbara - Lydia
Allison fits best with Babs during her Batgirl run, not only were they once of the first girls on the respective teams, but they were ones that learned some serious fight moves and weapons training as teenagers rather than a child like Dick Grayson. plus there's a love story between her and Dick. (dickory shipper thou)
Lydia fits Babs as Oracle after the Joker leaves her paralyzed. Babs becomes the person in the chair, the one you go to for information. Lydia's one ofâ if not theâ most smartest members of the pack, and she's a banshee. She predicts death. She's a legit oracle if you think about it.
5. Jason Todd - Derek Hale/Peter Hale
another duo pairing! see, Derek is basically what Jason was before he got crowbared by the Joker. Peter Hale is Jason after he was brought back, the Red Hood. and then it comes back to Derek again still with Red Hood except now he hangs out with his family again. so, they all are still capable of killing, they aren't afraid of heading in that direction. when Derek became an Alpha he was all big and macho and the big bad wolf and its a bit similar to how Jason first was as Robin, just having a great time till they're both brought down by some rough stuff. Peter was brought back and is extra murdery just like Jason. Derek is also the most distant of all Scott's pack members, he's the oldest and an adult, while Jason is just trying his best to be a lone wolf. (he fails at it some times)
6. Cassandra Cain - Malia Tate
i think it speaks for itself, but it's also funny because they're almost inverse mirrors of each other. Cassandra was raised, not to speak, but to observe. she reads people and their body language meanwhile, Malia who was stuck as a coyote in the woods for more or less a decade has a horrible read on people and very little social skills. coyote's themselves are very solitary. they're also both more comfortable with the killing of their enemies than other members of their respective packs/teams. plus they happen to be both children of villains/anti-heroes (Lady Shiva, David Cain) & (Peter Hale, the Desert Wolf 'Corinne')
7. Tim Drake - Stiles Stilinski
whoever knows Tim Drake and whoever knows Stiles Stilinski has got to know it's a perfect match. Tim's the Robin that correctly deduced who Batman and Robin (Dick Grayson) was. He's a genius, he's coffee addicted, he's bisexual, and he tends to avoid sleep to do research and whatnot. Stiles, is a genius is his own right, he figured out Scott was a werewolf before Scott. and he's usually the one who figures out the bad guy (sometimes even by accident! looking at you, matt). he's also obviously bi-coded, he's bi, i don't make the rules.
8. Stephanie Brown - Kira Yukimura
one of the more funny characters, Stephanie came in as Spoiler and she's weirdly not as liked by some people when compared to Babs or Cass. she and Kira both tend to overthink things and speak without thinking. they can both be cheerful and driven, and sometimes they doubt their abilities. they both don't particularly think highly of themselves either. Stephanie has some trouble with low self-esteem and Kira did too in the beginning, as well as loneliness due to moving halfway across the country. Other than that, if you haven't noticed it, Stephanie's a huge dork. it's adorable, sorry, adorkable. and so's Kira and it's why we love her. between the awkward interactions around their crushes and their total badassery when fighting enemies, it's no wonder these two should be matched.
9. Duke Thomas - Mason Hewitt
he's legit smarter than most his teammates, either in an intellectual way or a just a common sense way because Duke at least had a semi-normal upbringing compared to the rest of these guys, plus they're both one of the later added in characters
10. Damien Wayne - Liam Dunbar
a child. an angry child. an angry devil child. while Liam is not Chris' son, he's Scott's first beta. otherwise known as a son/little brother figure to him similar to Damien and Dick.
extra:
Jim Gordon - Sheriff Stilinski
Lee Thompkins - Melissa McCall
Selina Kyle - Braeden (but just because of the vibes, not any love story connections) they're both badasses in illegal ways. one's a thief, the other a mercenary.
i wrote a lot and every section seemed to get shorter, did ya notice? eh, hoped you liked it.
characters i didnât use because i couldnât find a definite match (but if anyone else has one then let me know):
Kate Kane -
Lucius Fox -
Luke Fox -
Clayface
Jackson Whittemore
Coach
Theo Raeken (although i guess i could see him as another Jason Todd but much more eviler bc he came in with bad intentions while all Jason did was attempt to steal the Batmobile's wheels in front of Batman) (they both did die and come back at least) (but Jason's the better man)
Batfam as Teen Wolf characters?
I'll be honest, this has been sitting in my inbox for over a year and I still don't know anything about Teen Wolf other than the fact that they recently got Destieled
#i feel bad for anon that i couldnt tag them in this; if they ever read this i hope you liked it#polaroized#teen wolf#dc comics#batman#batfam#bat family#bruce wayne#alfred pennyworth#dick grayson#robin the boy wonder#nightwing#jason todd#red hood#cassandra cain#orphan#batgirl#oracle#barbara gordon#stephanie brown#spoiler#damien wayne#duke thomas#signal#robin#tim drake#red robin#chris argent#scott mccall#derek hale

Had a dream where we were going on a fieldtrip to this play centre. It was actually very colourful. There were some arcade games lined up and all. There was also this beige room you could enter to play a game of cat and mouse. There were two corridors attached with multiple doors and two hallways connecting the corridors. I was the mouse of course and had to play defense ala FNAF6. Then at some point my friend came out (but it wasn't my friend) and it was like this huge plastic head thing, like a cookie cutter, heading straight to the door. Me and my friend knew it was supposed to be him but nobody else saw it that way. There were many more too. They were the perfect versions of ourselves. We all were meant to play the cat and mouse game and other arcade games and get lost exploring the doors in the corridors (which led on to more btw) and never return and those perfect cookie cutters go home to our families and they wouldn't even notice.
I also got my headphones stuck in some weird guy's play area because I was sitting next to him in the bus and his cords got tangled up with mine. He then remarked about my Starscream impression in the bus and left for a different game.
I also explored a different corridor in the arcade main room (employees only) which led on to a short hallway with bathrooms/a storeroom and the kitchen area where food was being prepared for us. An employee told me I wasn't supposed to be in here (they were making spaghetti btw) and I left the room. In the corridor there were also one or two doors but I don't remember entering them.
Also my best friend may or may not have fought a robotic version of themself in the bus. The perfect him but he won in the end so yay!
Flash on to another dream schematic but it's also in the same playplace, only in a different room-corridor thing. This one had lots of doors arranged in two halls. Colour-coded. Me and my friends entered the doors and we had to play through a series of traps. Blue door trialed me with drowning. A friend of mine entered a yellow door and had to breathe through a pipe to melt the snow accumulating at her feet. Within an orange (I think) door, a young toddler no older than two had to play a fill-in-the-blanks game. Of course I cheated and helped out. The questions got weirder as time went on and we never made it through. We got to exit this trial room, fortunately.
Flash to another sequence and there's this boy and princess in the style of an old cartoon. Trapped in the same location with an old man and two young girls (I think their respective sisters). The girl was like a mermaid princess and the old man was Dr. Emmet L. Brown from BTTF. The guy was your standard movie protag guy. At some point after trying to escape a mannequin-like entity trying to kill them, these two fell in love and tried to fuck each other in the plain room but probably were unsuccessful despite everyone leaving the room. I don't know why, but plot humour I guess. I was waiting for them to get their clothes off and fuck raw. So they escaped through a window I think and went onwards to fly infront of Santa's sleigh on a rocket submarine and crash land into the ocean where they all tried to commit suicide on the old man's words. But the mermaid princess cut off her own tail which wouldn't work to bring us to the surface in a lost media type fashion.
Flash to another more recent set of sequences and it's the same hallway. I knew what we had to do: play all the puzzles and win against them to get out. Me and my friend were trapped in here. We found a bedroom in a red-themed door and it turns out that if you turned off all the lights in there you would have to play a game of survival. He managed to escape thankfully. We tried some doors and won some minigames.
There was also a section of the dream concerning light switches and entities. If you turned the lights off (or if the lights broke conveniently) then little stickman figures with bats would spawn and try to hit your legs as you ran from SCP IKEA-like entities. The farther youu went on trying to find more doors to complete and the exit, the more at risk you are of coming into contact with them, and the longer you stayed in one spot the more at risk you are at the lights turning off and you are chased by a dark supernatural entity until you turn all the lights back on.
At one point in adventuring we came upon a grandma-like entity with other entities but we asked for a short moment in a room with her and they didn't attack us. We asked her something but it wasn't long before another sharply dressed entity with a pocket watch came in and said it's been more than 15 minutes when it was not. He set his coffee on the table. The old woman (our only chance of survival because she had a saferoom (more like a lecturer's office tinted in dark green)) was about to be arrested so I spilled the guy's coffee and I guess I died then. Chefs. A life for a life.
I know there was more stuff happening after that but it was probably a respawn thing because I was there in the rooms with my friend again.
And then at some point I woke up. That's why it took four hours.
So at this point I think my liminal spaces are beige halls, with potted plants under windows, large open room with arcade games on the walls, but like, unique arcade games that are not cabinets, short hallways with red walls on one side and beige on another, room with tall ceiling and a large square table in the middle, hotel hallways that branch off.
