SOS Men of Lookism: Urgent Bathhouse Meeting

It's not often they're all called into a meeting together, and even less when everyone attends. They each receive a mysterious note with 'Urgent: meet at Central Seoul Bathhouse' along with their secret code. Guess it really must be important for this person to use their emergency signal.

The bathhouse was filled to the brim, and divided in 2 sides. There was no immediate obvious division, with members from all crews split.

On the right, a number of exceptionally breathtaking men were half sitting languidly in the water. The steam and heat left them hazy and half-lidded, their muscular bodies wet and slick.

Droplets of water and sweat sliding down their sculpted chest and chiselled abs, their skin and tattoos glistening in the low light.

They made for an impressive presence: Daniel, Jay, Vasco, Zack, Jace, Vin Jin, Johan, Jake, Samuel, Sinu, Ryuhei, Xiaolong, Eli, Warren, Hudson, DG, Gun, Goo, (young)Gapryong and Taesoo. Even newly joined member Jihan Kwak, and little Eugene was perched hesitantly amongst them.

Gun glances over, checking out each of his previous successor and the potential gathered here. He nudges Goo, wondering why his secret friends are scattered but receives a shrug in response.

Vasco and Jace are glaring at Vin Jin in his goggles with distrust. It pains them to be sitting on the same side as him, no matter the cause.

Even flanked by members of Allied, Daniel looks nervously at DG. He tries to discreetly make out a shape under the water. To see if it was as monstrous as he remembers. It still haunts him how big it was.

Xiaolong on the other hand was rearranging his towel - unusually covered up compared to everyone else. Ryuhei, ever the nuisance, tries to yank at his towel which results in slaps being thrown his way.

Meanwhile, Jake (pointedly ignoring Gapryong) and Sinu are eyeing up Samuel suspiciously. His chest... it was astonishingly large. Was it fake? Did he get implants? Sinu weighs up asking about it. Yeonhui never really showed an interest in chest sizes but it never hurts to ask...

Johan, to Zack's right, is trying to ignore the guy's concerned looks. He's here for business, not a reunion. Although Zack does seem popular here, and it didn't hurt to team up with someone else in case a fight breaks out.

Eli and Warren, ignoring the rest of the men, keeps Yenna entertained in the corner. They note the dirty looks thrown their way. Eli is the last person to want to bring his child into this, but what was he supposed to do? He isn't on the best of terms with Hostel right now and everyone else is here.

On the other side, surprisingly, sat most of Big Deal in their uniform. There were a few other recognisable faces - Logan Lee, Channing Choi, Alexander Hwang, Old Face, Olly. Even Jiho made an appearance. The rest of them merged together into one inconspicious, nameless group.

Lineman is the first to talk. "Thank you for all gathering here." He bows. "You've all had your moment in the sun. Gun, your chapter 438 was especially impressive. I've never seen the fans united that way before."

At this acknowledgement, Gun gives a smirk. His wet hair hanging seductively around his face, as if styled by the gods themselves.

"But we," Lineman continues to gesture vaguely to the side of him, "have been left out. Jiho here has been killed off with the worst glow down. Old Face is literally old face. No-one even remembers my name!" He clears his throat before he gets derailed.

"Now if you don't mind. Let's think about our next fan service scenario, and please involve us this time."

Finrod/Sauron and 28 (as a lie) for the kiss meme?

Finrod woke in the darkness and found Edrahil near him. His eyes were accustomed to the gloom of the pit now, and he surveyed their surroundings as he tested, with his spirit, the strength of his remaining enchantments. There seemed no imminent danger, no wolf-like growling and snuffling. The dim shapes of his companions were still, but their breathing was steady. So Finrod turned his attention on Edrahil and let himself take his hand.

His friend looked barely hurt. He glowed against the ceaseless night of the pit. An indescribable emotion surged in Finrod's chest like the tide. What regret, to have led such a friend here to die. What joy, to find him a faithful friend, nonetheless, and wonderful.

"I can only thank you," he said softly. "I have no heart yet to say sorry."

Edrahil nodded, and looked on him seriously. "Our errand…" 

His voice was more musical than Finrod expected to hear it. Perhaps after days of Orc-speech and wolf-growls the familiar grew sweeter.

Finrod raised his hand and kissed the knuckles, dragging both of their shackles with the motion. "Speak not of it."

“As you command, my lord.” 

Was that pause—assessing?

Finrod sighed, frustrated. His mind was playing tricks on him, making him distrustful of an Elf-captain he knew like his own soul. Edrahil would not give them up to Gorthaur’s listening ears; he was more pragmatic and tactically-minded than Finrod himself. “I should command far less, I think.”

“You may command me always,” said his friend’s sweet voice. “Long have I loved you.” He kissed Finrod with the ephemeral caress of a flickering flame.

Going back to Zag's romantic relationships from Mel is extremely hilarious to me because of how comparatively well-adjusted he was.

Sure he done fucked up with Meg in the past and they had to kill each other as part of the job description, his sudden leaving seriously hurt Than while also having communication issues w/ each other, and there's the matter of Dusa being a lowly servant of the House. But in the end, he sorted everything out with 0 grievances from all parties involved (that one dialogue where Than admits Meg is the one who tells him to finally pursue Zag seriously warms my heart). Got the Mom(s) Seal of Approval™ even, and from Achilles too!

Meanwhile I look at Melinoë and she has a frankly criminal amount of situationships. Her rizz level is insane and she goes straight for the throat when flirting yet somehow her dating life is simultaneously a mess and nonexistent. Nemesis regularly kicks her into the dirt verbally AND physically but is the only person to acknowledge how fucked up it is that Mel is sent out alone in the hopes of killing an all powerful Titan that took SIX gods to kill in the past. "Fuck you and fuck your stupid frog in particular" then turns around and gives free Death Defiances. Her and Moros try to flirt with each other but they kept missing the mark because sometimes one of them says something totally unhinged like it was normal (I don't think watching people die is an appropriate bathtime conversation topic, my man). Her and Eris are a hot mess—literally with all those rounds she shot at Mel AND without a basis of workplace professionalism. Icarus is one shot nerve away from accidentally proclaiming his undying (literally) love to her but his guilt complex is hanging on to that nerve. And then there's Arachne and her not so little crush warring with the fact that said crush is family with and is helping the gods who cursed her.

Never have I realized how important it is that Zag has become a minor god of relationship counselling until I look at his baby sister and think, "yeah girl you definitely need help for all that shit".
