please if there are any artists still active in this fandom i come to you with a plea from the bottom of my soul: i need simply two(2) pieces of art to make an edit that will not leave my brain. it does not have to be good or neat or high effort, it can be the messiest sketch you've ever done.

it just needs to have the expressions of nova and her dad when they each realize that ace is the one who sent the hitman, so when david first opens the door to the apartment in the prologue and when nova and ace and everyone else are on the roof of the cathedral, respectively.

i am absolutely willing to bargain for this. quite honestly i'd give you a kidney if necessary, but here is the offer as it stands.

you receive: an edit of those pieces of art to "like him" by tyler the creator with the caption "just two generations of artinos realizing they were betrayed by a family member they loved and trusted more than anything(it's the same man)" and, if you are so inclined, i will write you a drabble for nearly any prompt of your choosing. i won't do nsfw, but quite honestly i'm desperate enough i'd literally be down to write torture porn of a character you hate if that gets me this art.

i will not be able to sleep until this edit is made. if this effort of reaching out does not work, i will have to do it myself and you will all be subject to my truly atrocious art "skills."

"renegades is about grey morality" "oh the ending of supernova made the whole point of neutral morality completely moot" IT'S EXTREMISM. RENEGADES IS ANTI-EXTREMISM.

callum literally says to nova in archenemies that he disagrees with the anarchists because all they did was destroy, they believed the only way for the world to be as it should was to essentially cause the apocalypse. we don't talk about it enough, but the series DOES take place in a semi-recovered post-apocalyptic environment. and then the anarchists raised nova to destroy what little progress had been made towards recovery. yes the renegades were a very flawed system; the whole point is that they should be CHANGED, not DESTROYED.

I desperately hope that the renegades are absolutely abolished in the spin off series. I need Nova to realize that, while the anarchists were worse, the renegades aren’t great either and her switching sides so fully and suddenly was just a knee-jerk reaction to leaving the anarchists and her and Adrian and the others rebel again at the council and put a real democracy with true equality in place. i also want nova pov again, but i know the chances of that are very low since i think we can assume it will be Evie x Max

If you'd told that to my 13-year-old self, she would've died, and come back just to see her.

Like: WE ARE GETTING A SPIN OFF it's just a matter of time to see them again and know more about and, and, and just love and enjoy them again.

I'm so happy I can't explain. It's just a warm feeling in my chest and something that reminds me to keep going because the very thing I wanted to happen is going to happen.

I can't wait to see Nova again, but at the same time, I'll wait ten years if I need to.

Nova's character has impacted me in a way no other character ever did, has done and I doubt will do.
