your right, a grown ass man shouldn't have married a little girl, raped her, forced her to have multiple children before the age of 18, only to ignore and neglect them, dooming them to essentially, death (cause he had to have known the political fallout of multiple male heirs being succeeded by a woman would cause turmoil, yet he did nothing to avoid this, nothing to facilitate a smooth succession of power, nothing to protect Rhaenyra's ascent, nothing to protect his wife and other children, all things expected of a king. he could have stopped the war before it started, or at the very least tried to, but he didn't cause he's fucking pathetic).

this detail is so frickin funny but obviously so important for the yuki-shizu relationship because i don't know how to explain it but it definitely explains a lot of shizu's reactions and his bitter feelings towards yuki!!! they had a love-hate relationship so :

i take this a lot less seriously rn-- because i've always had a heartbreak when reading this part and now it just sounds so silly to me with a completely other tone. even if shizu was still not okay about this, it seems like this line has less to do with his feeling of loneliness than i used to think.

plus i've seen a few theories on their relationship since it's never been explicitly shown or described, and i've never seen people theorising that the reason why shizu isn't talking about his grief or showing an explicit sadness after yuki's death is because they had a kind of rivalry so he probably just felt awkward after his death because he had no idea how to react.

no that's insane the author messed up for revealing this precious intel in a 4koma after the movie (one that won't benefit international fans since it isn't featured in a volume) :( i'm mad rn

Actually I’m still not over writing prompt s not only accusing Palestinian and Arab bloggers who have been here and doing activism for years of being a scam ring, but proceeding to double down and ignore any evidence to the contrary because they were ‘clearly’ scammers.

Y’know what a scammer does when they get called out or someone publicly voices suspicion? They cut and run. Scams are a cost benefit analysis and once you’re got, you’re GOT and you need to take your money and run. Diminishing returns hits hard after you’re accused of running a scam (and if you are, it’s a LOT of work to fabricate the necessary evidence). There’s no financial reason to insist innocence - the honey moon phase is over and it’s on to the next mark.

So when the people you accuse of being scammers don’t go quiet? Don’t take the money and scram? That’s a pretty dead give away that they’re not running a scam - no seasoned con artist (and you would have to be experienced to run a scam on the scale writing prompt s was writing conspiracy essays about) would stick around after that.
