FINISHED WATCHING MHA MOVIE 2: HEROES RISING!!! SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED IT

OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS WAS SO GOOD YO HOLY FUCK I LOVE IT AAAAAAAAAAAAA

This was truly My Bakudeku Academia. Watching that final battle felt like a religious experience- as if I was watching the birth of Christ. Holy fuck if that really was the original ending, with Deku passing OFA to Kacchan, and the whole "Oh it actually stayed with Deku and Bkg got amnesia" didn't happen, this would have been a dramatically different story moving forward.

Horikoshi really loves Bakugou- like absolutely no question. The story following this kind of ending would be about him continuing OFA's legacy with the guilt of a thousand suns on his shoulders for "taking away" Izuku's dream. Izuku would have continued the hero course as an actual quirkless student. I would love to see aus of this being canon and continuing their story from there.

I'm guessing Nine here was supposed to be AFO, and he would basically be gone too. Katsuma is perfectly set up to be the next protagonist (I can already imagine him using Cell Regeneration as Super Regeneration- he could become invincible while also healing others. Incredibly amazing quirk).

THEY ALSO MAKE IT ACTUALLY MAKE MORE SENSE HOW THE WHOLE CLASS IS SEPARATED ON AN ISLAND TOGETHER AS A WHOLE CLASS THIS TIME TOO (and not just half like last movie). They even managed to tie it in to AFO, the LoV, and Hero Society. Like it actually feels more grounded and reasonable why the class would be here alone with supervision.

They even add hints of Touya Todoroki with him having a short battle with Endeavor, Hawks spying in the LoV, the HSPC head cameo, and other little things too. Man I loved this fucking movie I would watch it 10 more times right now.

ive seen his angered expression during kaufmo’s funeral as him actually caring about kaufmo but not wanting to show that- and while that’s definitely a hc you can have, i think his reasoning for being upset is more selfish than that and says a lot about him as a character

jax is a piece of shit, we all know this- but what specifically makes him a piece of shit and whats expounded on in episode 2 mostly is his disregard for the people around him. he doesn’t care if he hurts others, and everything he does is for his own amusement

during the adventure he craves violence and havoc- to the point of him supposedly destroying an entire kingdom just for the sake of a bit.

but even in episode 1 we see how he doesn’t even care for the humans he’s with as when he sees that kaufmo abstracted he greets it with indifference.

jax as a character is a nihilist. nothing matters to him and that ideology directly contrasts the message of episode 2- that the people around you DO matter.

Jax seeing the funeral being set up forces him to recognize this fact, and his upset reaction shows how uncomfortable that makes him. because if things DO matter, he has to reflect on his actions and the consequences of them. He sees this world as a game while everyone else approaches it as their new reality, and i feel like that will be a central conflict with him in the following episodes :>

Once I saw a few people got upset that a life series au purposefully kept Scott out and fans of the au said “umm it’s not a life series au it’s a hermitcraft one :/” (over speaking the au creators) and I sat there reading these comments with an outsiders perspective thinking that it’s weird that every life series player is in the au and the only hermits that aren’t in the YouTube series but is in this au was Zedaph and Cubfan. No Docm77, no Falsesymmetry or Keralis or any hermit that isn’t in the life series besides Zedaph and Cub. And what roles do they have in the au? Very minimal.

What I’m trying to say is that I feel for those who wanted Scott only to be told it’s a hermitcraft au when let’s be honest, it’s not. You don’t have to focus on every hermit for it to be a hermitcraft au but to say it’s one when A, it’s only focused on life series hermits and B, some of the main characters are non-hermits (Eg Jimmy, Martyn and Lizzie, never BigB) it’s hard for me to believe that it’s a hermitcraft au.

NEW NINJAGO DRAGONS RISING SET IMAGES!

Courtesy of Ninja Adventures on YouTube (Idk where they got them), we have the January sets for Ninjago Dragons Rising Seasoon 2!!! (THESE ARE ONLY MOST OF THE SETS, A FEW ARE MISSING, HENCE THE LACK OF ALL THE OTHER NINJA!!!)

The 1st one is Jay's Mech Battle Pack! it has a new Jay minifigure with a. well its a mech alright! It also comes with a brand new Master Lloyd minifigure, a Wolf Mask Claw Warrior, and a Wolf Mask Guard!

The 2nd is the one that excites me the most, Egalt the Master Dragon!!! It comes with Sora, Nya, Ras, Lloyd, and Cinder! It also has THE titular dragon, Egalt... who looks suspiciously familiar. HUHM??? (PLEASE be Master Wu somehow I dont care how thatd be do fucking cool!!!)

The 3rd is Sora's Elemental Tech Mech. It's okay, not as interesting as her season 1 mech but whatever. Comes with a Wolf Mask Claw Warrior and Sora.

The 4th is Kai's Elemental Fire Mech!!! It comes with Kai, Zane, JORDANA, and a Wolf Mask Warrior!!!

Lastly we have Cole's Elemental Earth Mech! It has. two minifigures only??? Cole and Wolf Mask Warrior??? (what the fuck Lego why couldnt you put Arin into this set man??? fuck off why are there TWO minifigures only in a set like this????)

In the background of every set, we see hints at another set, the Shadow Dojo!!! Above it is a curiously eclipsed moon... huh.
