He thought of his brother and parents and how Levy would pat his head sometimes and give him a smile he missed his brother before going away and becoming a damn pawn for the queen did he forget about him at the palace? he was sure it was brainwashing! hed seen her smiles they looked so real… or how his mother and father just let him go with just a fucking smile! they hadn't smiled with such warmth sense as long as his memory goes only in pictures before his time and they still didn't look that happy they were blinded by the queen's actions he was sure of it! She was playing them like a fucking fiddle. The cigni neri was right he knew it! or was he just jealous? hed do what was right and make his own name. anything to get away from those pity-filled stares as they talked about the old news of someone he never knew Sunny regained his calm and decided to shoot a few things to get some practice in. Contrary to what most even know of Sunny he was a good shot even without his glasses only helping him to fulfill his dream Wasn't it to live alone and garden in peace….? When did it change Birds of all kinds were dead as he collected them and put them in something to carry them (never a corvid. Hed puke if he killed one) and as he was getting ready to leave he saw some lilacs they had gotten them a lot when he was little. and thought of her Nova was her name right? His sister and the eldest. the one he’ll never meet when he can remember  died to a monster or something and so he drifted to what she would've been like would she be brash and abrasive or kind and polite? Would it be both? Was she skilled with a bow as he was? did she get the warmth Mom and Dad always had in those photos? They seem so cold compared to those did she randomly pick up stuff and fixate on it? Did she enjoy cooking as he did? Maybe have a strange connection with certain birds. would she have loved or hated him? Did she enjoy getting her hands dirty or keeping them clean? How was Levy back then did he smile more? Would he have left if it was her begging him to stay? He snapped out of it when one of his messenger crows came with a letter for him to return to base. he wondered what her favorite flowers would've been.

what's with the weird glorification of smoking that's come back lately

I've seen so many posts that paint opposing smoking as some impossibly Loser-ish or puritanical stance and I really don't get it

it makes you, your house, and your clothing stink, destroys your teeth, and gives you lung cancer. opposing it is. Correct. obviously addiction is very complicated and quitting can be hard, but just saying "smoking is gross and harmful as a practice (including vaping)" is True and Right actually

some of you have never grown up hearing about how some beloved family member died a slow, agonized, wasting death of smoking-induced cancer, or watching it firsthand for yourself, and it shows
