??? Who even brought Penelope into this? OP is right, Luke N has played the strongest male lead in terms of believability, and I'm including Corey in this because I've watched Queen Charlotte. I'm getting tired of people taking praise of his work as 'putting coworkers against one another'. This is a conversation about depictions of their characters. They're a great cast together, but I agree with OP that Luke was a standout for me. It's not a competitive sport but we can acknowledge someone's dedication and excellence in their craft???

Unpopular opinion, maybe, but I genuinely think Luke Newton is the strongest male lead we've had in a Bridgerton series (not counting Queen Charlotte because I haven't seen it so I'm not able to judge). That isn't to say the other leads aren't good actors - they most certainly are good actors - but Luke is the only one who made their Bridgerton character believable in every way. Maybe there were other factors involved (some of the directing in season 2 was noticeably bad) but from what we got in the finished project, it is Luke who gave us the most out of the material he was given, and it baffles me that he hasn't received proper recognition for that.

He's very quiet and very smart but more importantly, he's pretty dodgy about his country or origin. He's never given a straight answer about where he comes from. Only saying things like "oh we're big on combat sports" or "technically we're a monarchy but there hasn't been a king since the last one was locked away for being a tyrant". It's to the point where students have made a running bet to see who can figure out Danny's country of origin first. And Tim plans to win that bet.
