Yup! There's a multitude of reasons why Peri struggles so much, but they all lie in his origins. Peri was born from a wish! And Wishes, well. They're not meant to last long. Most wishes become unstable as the years go by, but Peri's persisted because he's an entire living being!

CosWan initially feared Peri wouldn't grow up properly, but he turned out nearly as fine as any other Fairy would! Probably!!

Growing up on Earth, being related to the VonStrangles, born from a 10 year old's wish, living past the lifespan of wishes, beyond that of humans... Each part is rather small, but when added together, it culminates into a very... very unstable baby.

In the past, when Finn has been asked about ships he’s always said something along these lines, specifically with byler. He was asked about shipping byler in a live zoom event with fans for st promo during COVID hiatus before s4 filming restarted, and he was just like yeah I think ppl should ship what they want to ship and idk idk idk we’ll have to see what the Duffer’s do 🤷🏻‍♂️

And when it comes to the Edward/Bella comment, it just makes it obvious he hates the concept of shipping, seeing as that’s the most like well known shipping occurrence in media in recent times. Finn saying that had less to do with how he feels about Mike and Will as a pairing in the narrative genuinely, and more to do with him not wanting to get caught up in ship wars with buzzwords of one ship’s name vs. another. Idk what it is, but male lead actors playing love interests always tend to hate shipping as a concept? Like it’s a right of passage practically. It probably stems from the toxic side of the fandom experience too? Where like fans made him and Millie’s relationship really uncomfortable at times when they were so young, and how that unfortunately interferes with there personal lives at times. A lot of that behavior stems from shipping, so I can see why him and a lot of young actors in those positions feel at edge at times when ppl put them on the spot.

Im sure Finn would just rather people phrase it like, do you want Will and Mike to end up together as opposed to do you ship byler? But also the former would be a lot harder for him to answer, so at least with the ship name he can dance around his discomfort about shipping as a phenomena and then never really answer the question beyond just telling fans to wait and find out🤣

I’m worried with what Finn just said and now the milkvans are gonna be after us. He said he doesn’t ship Byler and is not a shipper. I think he’s sick of us and thinks we’re delusional but doesn’t wanna come out and say it. He compared us to twilight which makes me sad 😔

in america your physician prescribes care and an insurer can still cuck you out of it because someone across the continent who has never met you can say: doesn’t seem medically necessary. Leaving you to handle a bill that is wildly inflated by the same insurers that just denied you.

let me drill it through your head you can pay thousands a year in premiums and still end up sick and financially burdened for years by One incident. no insurance company is Avoiding going broke by denying claims. theyre doing it to profit off your misfortune and your illness. I love how over time kid xelqua has become less just baby grian and more grian's kid who he found in the woods/somehow created and now the kid represents all of grian's childhood trauma and Catholic guilt and grian is just trying to break the cycle bc there's this magic fucking baby who is the best thing in the world

JKAGJKD yes Exactly, see evo Grian has a lot of family issues, from being an orphan, to the Watchers, he has ISSUES, so raising a version of himself is..... definitely odd, but weirdly healing.. He sees how he was as a kid, he wasn't that bad, he was just a kid ! He didn't deserve to be abandoned or anything. He sees all of his ache in Xelqua, he's very much breaking the cycle.

I think my OC and Sun Wukong's entire relationship dynamic is that both don't think much about marriage or love or relationships, but they both clearly act like they have been married for 50 years with the way the bicker and banter but also just be there for each other but they'd totally get married and claim because it just made life easier for both of them like yeah the celestial court and all the others are getting off his back now and she has an extra layer of protection and they insist this is a marriage of convenience and yeah they're best friends ofc they love each other plus this is ancient china every second person gets married for convenience not out of love how is that any different than our marriage but outsiders can just see how loyal and head over heels they are for each other and yes there was that one accidentall kiss incident but only because Wukong was hanging upside down from the tree and she turned around too fast and their lips met each other but that doesn't mean anything-

I picked her out eight years and two months ago - she was the runt, but she was my baby, weird and independent, loving and smart.

She's laying in an eternal sunbeam out there now, but holy hell do I miss her stinky little butt.

You know that old joke about "you don't have to run faster than the bear, you just have to run faster than the other guy"? Was just thinking about how that's not necessarily true.

Because it depends on why the bear is chasing you.

If the bear is chasing you because it's hunting for food (which seems unlikely, unless it's a polar bear?) then yes, it'll stop after the first target it pulls down, because there's no point in the bear continuing to expend energy once it's got what it wants.

But if the bear is chasing you for some other reason -- say, you pissed it off by threatening its babies, or its territory -- then it will not stop with the first guy. It will continue coming until all of the threats are fled or dead. In which case, you do in fact still need to be able to run faster than the bear.

Not to overthink a metaphor, but I feel like there's a lesson here in how picking the callous path isn't necessarily any more guaranteed of success than choosing to keep faith. Now you have a bear mauling you and you're a dick. Maybe you should have stuck around to help the other guy.

The future they want is the past they once had. 

Their life had been simple, but they wouldn’t have given it up for anything. Creating and exchanging crafts with each other, playing in the river, stopping (and starting) food fights in the dining hall, walking through nature to study every branch, every funny shaped rock, every bird that soared overhead. Singing songs in the morning. Telling ghost stories at night. Skits and campfires and making memories. Teaching the kids everything they could, and learning from them, too. 

It was by no means perfect, no life ever is, but it was all they had — and they loved every minute. They would have been happy to stay like this for the rest of their lives.

What would they do to make it real?

Anything.

They would hide themselves away for a decade, watching from afar as life continued on without them. They would pay dearly for a crime they did not commit. They would let themselves fall into ruin. They would speak with the animals if only to ease the loneliness for just a few minutes. They would dirty their hands. They would become the monsters that their campfire stories foretold. They would risk everything to make the hurt stop, to quiet the grief that has haunted them for years.

They would kill for it.
