Starfire is a Halfa

So! We all know Starfire's backstory right? She was the princess of Tameran, sold off as a Slave by her sister, and experimented on giving her Energy Based Powers before she escaped to Earth and joined the Teen Titans.

What you didn't know, is that the Experiments were using a very specific Substance. Ectoplasm.

The Experiments done on Starfire turned her into a Halfa, the 3rd Natural Born Halfa in existence. Not that she knew anything about that, the records of the Aliens who Experimented on her were destroyed when the Ship crashed on Earth, so she didn't know the true origin of her Powers.

All this time she has been using her powers through her Mortal Body, never discovering her Transformed Ghost State even years after the Experiments. She has no idea that she is limiting herself, that she has a whole catalog of Powers that have never seen the Light of Day.

But Raven has noticed something. Her recent Divination Spells have detected the presence of a Powerful Ghost somewhere in the Tower, and she needs to find it.

Calling all Agatha All Along fans - please don't let yourself pause to realise, as I just did, that the reason the witches, Agatha included, experienced such newness and joy on that broomstick ride was because they had been physically unable to fly that way for a long long time.

maybe i'm swinging a bat at a hornet's nest here but as an aroace person, i think it's kind of messed up to say that levi is canonically aroace now

yes, he said that he doesn't care about people and that concepts like empathy, compassion, and love are unfamiliar to him. but attraction is not the same as any of those words. i get that people may want to headcanon him as aroace (especially since we don't get a whole lot of representation in the first place), but to insist that it's canon feeds into stereotypes about people with low empathy and aroace people alike

It’s so funny to me how wildly different so many of the companions impressions of the master are, because you’ve got:

- someone who repeatedly imprisoned and kidnapped you but was oddly polite about it

- someone who possessed and killed your father then destroyed your home planet

- someone who got turned into a cheetah creature

- someone who imprisoned and tortured you and your family for a year

- someone who clearly has a thing going on with the guy you have a thing with and is getting territorial about it

- someone who’s actions directly lead to your death and subsequent conversion into a cyberman

- someone who played dress up with you for a bit before he started trying to kill you

It’s a relief that we didn’t get footage of Palpatine’s years of grooming Dooku like we did Anakin because watching Palps try to flatter and ingratiate himself to this man who has cut himself off from everyone and everything he knows trying to girlboss his way into running a planet with zero training or ability and is an open festering pit of need? It just sounds like the most pathetic shitshow ever.  

On the other hand, can you imagine how personally annoying that was for Palpatine? Dooku, who is as lonely, self-important, and dramatic as Anakin but with a larger vocabulary and more lung capacity for complaining without stopping? Who hasn’t been told he’s a good boy by Yoda in a decade and now has a captive audience showering him with approval?  Palpatine: *making listening noises for two hours* …you’re SO right, yeah, yeah, that sounds…just… so.. uhh, intelligent Palpatine: *quietly strangling yet another Senate aide* …no, no I’m still here, friend, the comm connection must have blipped, go on!
