Ford wanted Dipper as his apprentice and let's not forget he even admitted to carrying an outlawed infinity dice in a cheap plastic case and then LEFT IT IN WITH REGULAR DICE IN THE D&D&D EPISODE. He and Dipper wouldn't have had to have been saved had he just not had it on his person/kept it contained properly in the first place. He is an actual danger to children

1 he hunts for food and had to be stopped by Stanley on more than one occasion trying to hunt squirrels.

One thing I've seen that I absolutely adore in works (specifically works by Lol_DoesCrime on ao3) is feral Ford Pines. Like, I mean Ford has this animal-instinct side of himself that typically comes out when he's distressed or really tired or something. He can purr, warble, chirp, etc. I love it. I wanna see more feral Ford.

My thoughts about it is that Ford had to rely on more animal instincts to survive for so long in the portal while dimension-hopping and he's just Like That. So, when he's stressed out or distressed or upset or even when he's feeling super protective, he gets in this animal instinct headspace.

I’ve been working on a Feral Ford AU fic! Basically, Ford’s Rift Gun breaks and he ends up stranded in an unfamiliar dimension for 15 years. He’s taken under the wing of a species called the Quadear, and he must learn to become less and less human to survive.

Stcmo!Ford ever come across a Stan & Ford traveling together after falling into the portal together?

Sure has!

Ford is more likely to get along with his counterpart in that scenario too considering that Stan and his brother are together and have probably at least acknowledged the issues between them.

As is the case with one particular pair that Ford has come across in the multiverse, a Stan and Ford from dimension 83;9F, where both the brothers went through the portal into the Nightmare Realm. Ford 419"3 actually saved them from a horrific fate, opening a wormhole for them to escape through before the henchmaniacs could catch them and deliver them to Bill.

When Ford 419"3 comes across them in the multiverse years later (while looking for some part of another), they are thriving as professional bounty hunters. Ford 83;9F has a far more animalistic mindset due to an incident with one of their bounties. Ford was injected with a black market parasite, which heightened his senses and tampered with his DNA. So Stan is the talker between the two of them, handling their clients while Ford lurks behind him looking like an omen of death.

Ford covers up from head to toe, wearing what resemble tinted biker goggles along with leather gloves. Instead of a trench coat, Ford wears a Milford belstaff coat, as well as black dress shirts and slacks. He prefers black athletic boots though, which somehow look classy enough to not throw off his whole outfit. The man is dressed to both impress and intimidate.

On the other hand, Stan is far more casual, preferring to wear layers. He wears a simple white t-shirt with a solid color zip-up hoodie and then a dark brown fur lined aviator jacket on top of it all (the top two layers he leaves unzipped most of the time). He still has a mullet, and he accessorizes with fingerless, steel knuckle biker gloves and steel-toe boots that are the same brown as his jacket.

One of the Freaks AU Ford, he's a henchmaniac and in a relationship with his Bill, genuinely on his side (here the Henchmaniacs are literally Bill's friends who are also freaks)

He's a major simp and will flirt with any Bill he encounters

He's also confused about the other universe Ford's not loving their Bills (his didn't betray him)

Stanford Pines headcanons!

. He has heart problems. Not just from the whole electrical torture thing but from the copious amounts of caffeine he consumed in the 80s to try and stave off sleep (and Bill).

. He has a hard time falling asleep because he hasn't been able to get a good night's rest in 40 years and his body doesn't realise that he's no longer in danger whenever he begins to doze off.

. He's missing a few teeth but he got veneers in another dimension at the same time as the metal plate in his head. They are sharper than his old teeth though.

. Due to extended time in other dimensions, he picked up a few particularly animalistic instincts — baring his teeth/snarling when angry or threatened is the one most people notice but there are more.

. He doesn't eat much; his stomach can't handle large amounts of food in general. There are certain foods that he can't eat at all — eggs and dairy are the main things.
