I like how outta the two of them, to everyone’s surprise, Stan is better suited to look after kids than ford. (Just outta of the two of them)

The worst Stan would do is shoplift and con someone. Ford stays strapped 24/7, that man is WAITING FOR ANYTHING VAGUELY RESEMBLING AN ISOSCELES TRIANGLE TO TRY HIM.

He gave Mabel a weapon and expected her to be normal about it! HE TOOK DIPPER TO AN ALIEN SPACECRAFT NOT KNOWING IF ALL ALIENS WERE 100% DEAD OR NOT!!! Literally has a mind-controlling device on standby.

STAN WAS RIGHT FOR TELLING HIM TO STAY AWAY FROM THE KIDS BECAUSE HE ACTIVELY PUT THEM IN HARMS WAY (unintentionally but still!!!!)

Ford wanted Dipper as his apprentice and let's not forget he even admitted to carrying an outlawed infinity dice in a cheap plastic case and then LEFT IT IN WITH REGULAR DICE IN THE D&D&D EPISODE. He and Dipper wouldn't have had to have been saved had he just not had it on his person/kept it contained properly in the first place. He is an actual danger to children

Dormant Memories Of A Forsaken Twin Spoilers

I got such a vivid image of Ford's introduction, I had to skip ahead and write it out.

This is very much just word vomit on a page and I still need to edit it to get it exactly how I pictured, but I wanted to share a section of the chapter.

Stan froze and tried not to stare at the large elk skull as the creature lumbered into his peripheral and passed by their hiding spot. He hadn't even heard it approach.

Cracks lined the weathered bone under empty eye sockets. Antlers sharp, tips dyed a dark red. Unkempt hair, or fur, grew from under the skull, stopping midway down its pale back.

It hunched forward, each step more silent than the last.

Large hands splayed on a fallen tree as it crouched on top of it. The skull looked toward the sky and tilted to the side as if it were listening.

Slowly he pushed Fiddleford around the other side of the tree and moved backwards. He felt his friend cling to his shirt and he looked away from the creature only for mere seconds at time to make sure he wouldn’t trip over anything.

The creature’s spine stretched out and its body shook before it started to move off the log.

Fiddleford let out an alarmed yell as his foot sunk into a large rotten branch and fell backward.

Stan spun to try to catch him and froze in his crouch seeing Fiddleford’s eyes widen with fear. His friend staring past him. Ignoring his rapidly beating heart he turned back toward the creature.

Its head locked onto them as it slinked back over the log. It stayed low to the ground, fingers spread wide in the dirt as it moved closer, silent.

Stan watched, his eyes taking in as much as he could about the creature.

The way it tilted its skull, unbothered as the wide six pointed antlers scraped bark off a tree. The way that honey brown eyes seemed to glow inside the skull as it passed under a stray ray of sunlight before it moved back into the shadows. The way that its clothing, dirty and tattered, hung like loose, rotting skin.

He slowly rose out of his crouch, stopping when a low growl came from the creature as it too stood hunched.

Stanford Pines headcanons!

. He has heart problems. Not just from the whole electrical torture thing but from the copious amounts of caffeine he consumed in the 80s to try and stave off sleep (and Bill).

. He has a hard time falling asleep because he hasn't been able to get a good night's rest in 40 years and his body doesn't realise that he's no longer in danger whenever he begins to doze off.

. He's missing a few teeth but he got veneers in another dimension at the same time as the metal plate in his head. They are sharper than his old teeth though.

. Due to extended time in other dimensions, he picked up a few particularly animalistic instincts — baring his teeth/snarling when angry or threatened is the one most people notice but there are more.

. He doesn't eat much; his stomach can't handle large amounts of food in general. There are certain foods that he can't eat at all — eggs and dairy are the main things.
