I swear to god people will shit so hard on his writing (imo) only because Tpot 8 wasn't rhe most amazing and perfect episode(or post split but I'll talk about it later). You all will see a tpot episode you loved and go "OHHH MY GOD BEST IN THE SERIES!!!! CARY AND MICHEAL COOKED!!" and whilist usually they are a BIG part of why the episode is so god(credit where credit is do), Sam will be the one to write it. You all will talk about how well writeen a tpot episode is, or how fun was that episode to watch and never give him credit for writing him.

Why do you all hate him? Because he wrote a good Chuck of post split? Look I barely finished post split, I didn't like it at all. But that was 3 years ago you realise writing can improve? Don't get me wrong it wasn't good(imo) I'd say it was shit, but do you want JNJ to hire people based on "OH! you did a Poopy episode once, were gonna have to remove you from this communtiy forever!" I know this might sound Wild but writing a shitty season of a bfdi isn't a warcrime.

Do you all hate him because he gave tpot a plot? No hate to Cary I do enjoy his writing, but tpot 4 -tpot 6 are honeslty kind of bland. Like full on regression to the first season of bfdi. Cary can write good modern bfdi episodes, he has enoguh whimsy to do so. However tpot 4-6 feel like filler to me, they aren't filler but they feel like it. I don't want to sound rude but as the biggest object show bfdi should at least try to standout/live up to your Legacy. (Basically I wouldn't shit on a smaller object show for having this format) instead of having a filler full on season. I also think it dosen't align with their vision for tpot. But eh I won't go too deep because I feel like Cary and Micheal are aware of this, and that's why they gave the writing Staff to someone else. (Also I feel Cary knew his wiritng wasn't suting tpot, since it was ment to be the more serious show. Like Sam did not stab Cary and Micheal 40 times and force them to make him the writer for Tpot, that's kind of not how projects work guys)

Going back don't a lot of you LOVE satomi for bfb?(Dgmw I love satomi for bfb too) But why is Sam suddenly this iredemmable writer for DARE putting plot in your bfdi!! (That's not say satomi dosen't have her detractors but they are on reddit I don't think satomi is a r/bfdi reddit user b) MOST OF THEM whilist kind of annoying don't go out of their way to Harras satomi(from what I've seen))

Be cirtical all you want but don't harass him for it! IF this matters to you THIS MUCH go and take a shower and watch something else then bfdi/object shows or watch a smaller object show. If you can't praise another bfdi project without feeling the need to mention him in a negative light YOU MIGHT BE OBSSED WITH THIS MAN, if you can't help but think about how much you hate that guy and his writing 24/7 you might need to touch grass and watch something else (adventure time is really good! I recommend it.<3). If your going to harass somebody over a show about A ice cube who seeks revenge mabye you should step away from the keyboard and find a different way to get your rage out.

It's perfectly FINE to dislike Samuel Thornbury's writing or him as a person whatever reason you have! It's perfectly normal to be critical of public people! I'm slightly cirtical of a few of the Bfdi writers/team memebers myself. BUT DON'T HARASS THEM, ESPICALLY OVER THE WRITING OF ALL THINGS.

I am not saying he should be the only writer! Or that he is the only good one. I'm all in for more people writing main episodes or more episodes with cowriters. I thoguh the new tpot 10-11 were amazing and those episodes had 4 writers! Shit the newest tpot ep was enjoyable and it had 2.

You can be critical of post split, Just don't blame EVERY single issue with it on him yada yada.

I don't know Sam personally, I do not have a parasocial relationship with him. It's just some of you are wayy WAYYY to harsh/weird when it comes to critizing him. And I think that kind of vaugeposting only makes the communtiy worse/dosen't help anyone

Am I the asshole for refusing to work with somone this upcoming year?

Howdy tumblr, I (26nb) work in childcare supervisor of an afterschool program for 3-6 y/os. I've had this job for close to two years now. Now for the majority of thr previous school year I had one assistant (25f) (I had two total but the other one was a non-issue).

Now this assistant was a constant struggle to work with, i do not like her on a personal level but I've had enough work experience to keep things professional and my feelings out of it, but it is worth mentioning. That mostly comes down to our personalities clashing and nothing too deeper then that.

But on a professional level I also dislike her, she plays clear favorites with the children (playing with one or tlo in particular ignoring the rest). She constantly gossips about not only our co workers but the children and parents including but not limited to medical information and where they live???? She is highly distractable not noticing things that are happening within feet of her that should catch her attention but I had to step in more times then not to resolve things. As well as just constantly having to do things for her that I should not have to do, functionally making me do her work on top of my own. Though the main thing is is that she would go and have conversations for 20+ minutes with parents, and some of our coworkers essentially leaving me and the other staff memeber to ourselves. I'm also disabled and have to occasionally use a cane for pain management, at the beginning of the school year we had a meeting and in wich I said "if I'm using my cane could you (my assistance) be my legs on the playground because it's hard for me to navigate at those times" almost needless to say she does not do this.

She had had conversations with admin and our supervisor regularly about her behaviors but they never changed. So at the end of last school year I told admin that I could not work with her this upcoming year and said straight out that I will look for a new job if I was placed with her again. I'm not paid a living wage at this job, and am functionally looking after 20-25 children with maybe one other person depending on who comes in for the third body that day. I only plan on being at this job for one more school year bug I cannot work with this other person anymore.

Admin has changed where she will work this upcoming summer, but she has somehow found out that I refused to work with her moving forward. She's understandably hurt but I don't think I was wrong in putting in these boundaries.

Will Gale be able to take over blackstaff or will his newest interest blind him. ((gale flirting, fluff, cute moments, light spice) idk what this is gonna be I just have some cute ideas for gale and a knight we will see. probs gonna be a couple parts)

Part 2

“Get a move on” you say to the other soldiers with you

You have been summoned to blackstaff tower by open Lord silverhand, you have also been told that an increase of security is being spread out through out waterdeep ever since the zhents activity has risen.

you adjust your armor after climbing all these stairs, you notice the old waterdeep architecture, no windows anywhere and dark stone with simple carvings patterned into the bricks, only few mage lights here and there illuminated the halls of this place. you reach a large door at the end of the corridor, a small plaque labels the door as the office of the blackstaff. Pushing the door open you enter a small office.

“take these scrolls back” a woman says, a young male drow grabs the scrolls and turns to walk away before seeing you and giving a rude look. one you are not unwelcome to rude stares ever since you’ve started in the city watch.

“uh excuse me, I am tav. a city watch memeber sent from open lord silverhand to watch over the black staff tower. I have been sent here with 3 other soldiers where 2 will be set up at the entrance and exit one will also be patrolling all times the halls, and I at whoever’s side for protection I can also patrol halls and stand by exits” you say to the human women in front of you, gesturing to the people behind you, you turn back to the elder woman sitting in her chair.

“ah, bout time silverhand answered my call to guards. I am vajra safar, I am the current blackstaff welcome to my tower. set up your guards and get familiar with the tower, this ring will allow you into the parts of the tower you need. once familiar with the tower head to the top, mr. dekarios will be the one your guarding, he’s the head of our research and teaching here my heir to the tower.” she hands you a key and goes back to looking through scrolls brought to her by others

“Thank you” You take the ring and escort your guards getting them posted, a small time passes getting acquainted with the tower you find yourself at a large bridge near the top of the tower. You walk across seeing the view of Waterdeep its mid day and the city seems to just be waking. Continuing across you find a another small tower. You knock on the door and listen for a noise.

“Ah, one second please” a rugged voice calls from the other side of the door. After a small while the door swings open to show a man flattening down his robe a simple black, with small gold details. Brown hair pushback flowing down to his neck curling at the ends as if to protect the soft skin below it. A strong 5 o’ clock shadow cover his jawline, heavy hooded eyes stare at you. “I must apologize, I am gale dekarios, come in please. ” you take the man before you in before following him in the door “please excuse the mess, allow me” he snaps his fingers making the mage lights shine brighter from the ceiling.

“I am tav, sent by open lord silverhand to protect you. I i will be with you most of your days now and will be around as much as you want me to, and I am surely never one to judge a mess” you straighten your back, and tuck your hands behind your back on top your blades. seeing the gale of waterdeep was not your plan when you were told to guard blackstaff. rumors of the heir to blackstaff have been in waterdeep for a couple years now, such as exploring new types of magic and forbidden tomes. “i’m sorry to intrude on you while working I can stay posted outside the door if you’d like to return to working you look a busy man” you say noticing the mess of papers, cups, ink pots strewn across the place. you notice his tower is elegantly styled with rich purple fabrics draped from the ceiling, a large fireplace lay across the room stoaking a roaring fire.

“stay…please, I haven’t much company recently in the tower having another’s presence around will be great, tara has been in and out so much recently it gets easy to forget how many days you can go with out seeing sunlight.” he says while stacking papers and moving stuff off the main table near a small kitchen. “do you drink tea or coffee? tara says I should drink tea more but I sneak the coffee when she’s away.”

you walk over to the table and notice many papers with writing you have no clue its origin, gale proceeds to make a pot of coffee using a strainer and some magically procured hot water. you notice the small details gale has put into making his part of the tower seem more homely, small fabrics lay on small counter tops and books stacked any spot available.

“i’m fine, thank you it’s kind. I am your guard I don’t think I should be relaxing when we could be attacked anytime, I have a night shift guard coming tonight to take over for me, I rotate the other guards out then maybe then I can join you for tea…or coffee your choice.” making eye contact again, you can’t help the smile the begins to pull at your lips when he looks at you.

“ah, of course… I see. well then i’m heading up to my library to go over some tomes i’ll probably want you there protecting me.” he says in a playful tone, sipping his coffee before setting atop the table.

“I give you my oath to protect you, gale of waterdeep” you say to him bowing your head slightly giving him a playful smirk back

a rather uneventful watch goes by as you stand near a bookshelf watching gale read. you’d occasionally get the “hmm” or “awe” maybe a “interesting” here and there to break up the time. he’d ask politely for you to help him with grabbing and putting books away to avoid tara getting upset about the mess. he fills you in on the details of tara after you awkwardly asked “who is tara that you keep mentioning?”

you cannot help but find yourself staring at him while he browses his books and find the crease under his eyes when he squints to understand a word or his fingers when licking them to turn the page. gale of waterdeep the heir to blackstaff, you cant be serious i’m finding him attractive, this is my job. ignore it tav, you can’t help but not want to ingore how impressive gale is.

after some time in the library gale steps out to stretch, find ingredients to make him a dinner. the sun sets and you rotate the guards out from the morning with the new night batch before your night double comes to tap you out for the night. remembering gales offer for coffee and tea. the time waiting for your shift to be over drags on, finally a nautical twilight welcomes the night and you are off from your duties, luckily with the jobs great pay they also provide housing in the tower. finding your room you let out a sigh of relief shedding your armour and weapons and you retire to a night outfit secretly still stashing a small weapon for emergency.

an hour later you find your self walking the stairs to the same bridge you crossed today. there waiting is gale looking out at the city it’s nightlife stirring with markets celebrating some festival of wardeep culture. he’s adorned a simple deep purple tunic and black pants he’s hairs more nicely slicked back like he’s bathed and a fresh shave shows his smooth curve of his face.

“ah just the magus i’m look for, I wasn’t gonna turn up an offer to have a night dining with the gale of waterdeep.” his attention snaps to you the second your presence steps on the bridge.

“I was hoping i’d see you, again. you are quite lucky. consider this a gift for your first day on the job. you did a good job watching over the library and I today.”

“oh, thank you” thank gods for the night, you feel a blush creep on your cheeks. “i’ll follow you in then” you follow behind the man and steady your breathes. you shouldn’t be nervous, you spent all day with him. you have no clue his love life, his intentions or interest, he’s a very kind man who wants to have a good start to a friendship.

“right this way, also note I am a wizard not a magus though we have plenty of amazing magus here I am not one.” he says smiling while leading you in to his tower.

his tower is cleaner then an hour earlier books and stacked neatly and papers and aligned on a desk more then likely thanks to magic, and a fresh scent of food stirs through out the air. you sit for a nice meal and wine being the beverage choice by gale. you go on chatting about lives and where you are from and gale fills you in on…the simple things tara how he started at blackstaff and small past times of his childhood in waterdeep.

the fire kindles down to coals and small flames, the wine bottle has just been poured into the glasses by gale, a silence falls over the tower as the breeze enters in through the set of french doors leading to a deck.

“this was nice tav, thank you.” a low rasped voice says from across the table. his hair slighty falling into his face as he look up to you.

“of course gale this was great getting to know you I hope I serve to show you I can protect your tower and you”

“i’m sure you’ll do a great job, though remember i can fight as well, hopefully never against each other” he says, a faint brush hands as his knuckles pass over yours while setting down his glass. you linger on the feeling his callous knuckles from casting spells. you look up to meet eyes with him before looking out the double doors to the sky full of stars.

“i’ve always wanted to see a star up close” you say to him, and finishing off your wine. “what about you anything you’ve ever wanted to see?”

“yes actually, a lot of things id love to see, this tower gets pretty tiring and lonesome” he’s says while staring at your lips stained with a faint red from the wine.

“I hope to hear about them all, I better retire for the night. I will see you in the morning gale of waterdeep, you have my promise.” you say standing heading for the door

“just call me gale you don’t need to worry i’m the “off waterdeep” part, I like you”

you retire for the night in your bed thinking of the small moment tonight when you’d make eye contact and your breath would hitch, or when you say something smart and you had no clue what he’d said but it was cute the way he’d ramble on about it. you savored the last taste of the wine you had on your tongue and rested till morning.

although yes I do have a staff Memeber that I believe to be endo neutral, I was 1: not aware of this fact when making them staff, and 2: did not know of this until recently.

I am not here to protect anyone but I would like to share a different perspective.

Let be clear that I am not trying to spoke over the voices of the hispanic community, that has been very kind in sharing their side of this story. I also don't think is fair to act like the hispanic community is a monolith since there had been hispanic people that shared a different view.

And I am not here to say what Puella did to Roier was right, because it is not, I think I made that clear in all of my other posts.

But the situation is not black and white.

Puella WAS in a toxic working enviroment and as far as I could see, Lumi and Cherry "supporting" Puella was them commenting on Puella's post saying "sorry we had not a long time, you are a loving person and I am sorry for what happen to you".

Lumi and Cherry at no point said what Puella did to Roier was okay, they never comment about it.

Maybe they are being ignorant to what Puella did, I don't know, but I don't think is fair to turn this comments into "they are blindly supporting Puella" or that they don't care for the hispanic community.

Puella was shamed for asking for a normal sleeping schedule and let's talk about the "boyfriend" message. It doesn't fucking metter that the reason they needed a to sleep earlier was that they wanted to drive their boyfriend home, it doesn't. Puella was told the schedule, and they asked because they have medical conditions they need to take care during the day, and then was asked to do overtime because the staff gave a schedule that was incompatible with Roier, overtime is a favor, even more when the worker is a volunteer. Try to shame Puella for what they wanted to do with their scheduled free time is absurd and harrasment for part of that staff memeber (that has already doxxed people, so not really a surprise)

Puella had only two days to come up with a entire character that was supposed to be for a different culture than her, Puella couldn't talk in private with the ccs and I think that would have help a ton because they were trying to make a more "dark" character.

And the admins that called her lovely might had a nice experience with them, that for sure doesn't take away from the way the treated Roier. I said in my posts, and I will repeat, Puella being rude as fuck to Roier doesn't make an inherit bad person, it made them a person that did something bad.

Two things can co-exist, Puella was in a toxic work enviroment and was an asshole to Roier

I think there is a need to understand that victms will not be perfect, and some victms are assholes, it doesn't take away that they were victms, and they been victms doesn't take away the hurt they caused. They still have a right to call out who was mistreating them, they also need to properly apologize for the things they did wrong (which I don't think Puella did).

Hi Tissy, yes I’m the original anon who brought up the Otipep situation and discussed some disappointment towards the blind support of the OG admin! I’ll use the “💫” as a sign off for any of my anon asks to make it easier :D

I read through other anon asks and your responses and honestly, it brings me a lot of comfort to see someone being completely understanding of this whole situation! Also big thanks to the anon who mentioned how some of the admins such as Lumi and Cherry were supporting Puella, but the hispanic admins like Haru, Lina and even MrPastelito expressed complete confusion and distaste towards the situation. It honestly does show that the other two admins are clearly uneducated with what the OG admin did was wrong, but at the same time, I fear that if people try to educate them on the matter, there will be massive backlash towards both sides, each one being called “ignorant” or “xenophobic”, cause sadly, on twitter, everything will be taken as hate and not as clear criticism.

It just feels like at this point, it’s just a matter of waiting, sitting and waiting like sitting ducks. Cause no matter what, many things will be taken out of context and used as hate when it’s not. And seeing everything go on, as a LATAM fan who supports the well being of the project, the admins on the current team, the admins who left and the admins who were affected, it’s disappointing and disheartening to see those who you support show that they are either extremely uneducated or xenophobic. :((

(As for the situation with Tilin’s admin, this occurred last year after she left and people found out she had liked/supported nsfw art of CCs, last i heard of them was when she came back to hate on the project when Lea had first showed everything going on, but she quickly deactivated or went private when people pointed out what she did and how contradicting her (Tilin’s admin) was towards the project)

I'm trying to remain as open, honest and subjective as possible but I have so many opinions on this matter. It's concerning thr support Otipep is receiving for that situation in particular. It's also concerning how people seem to not fully understand why the Hispanic community is angry and disappointed in Lea. People assume it's because she spoke out against QStudios which is not the case. I do imagine there are some people who are mad at her for that reason, but most of us genuinely do have concerns that her xenophobia is sending many many wrong messages. I support her in getting compensation and being in a safe place of work, but we can be disappointed in her as well.

-it starts out with Ronin having this compass that keeps talking to him, and he’s been desperately trying to get rid of it. Nya and Jay enter the pawn shop looking for something cool to have. Ronin takes the opportunity to give them a deal of ‘buy one get this free ‘Magic compass!!’ which Jay is all over.

-The two get back and that’s when Lloyd is like ‘we should really go out and do something’ and Cole walks in with a letter that’s like ‘you all win one free round trip through ninjago via train!’ and that hold no red flags whatsoever.

-The compass finally introduces himself as “Plexiglass’ after Lloyd asks just where this train is, and Plexi says ‘hey, I can point you to wherever you want to go? strange train tour? this way!’       ‘Hey, how do you talk?? how do you know where this thing is??’       ‘listen kid, when you’re as old as I am, you tend to know where a lot of places are.’

-Pixal is busy with something or another, helping borg probably, so its just the 6 ninja since once again I totally forgot to incorporate Wu into this(He’s probably on vacation or something, he really deserves a vacation). The squad arrives at the station and it’s kinda desolate but the train staff are nice! so they enter.

-just kidding it was an illusion, that train station isn’t real, it evaporates into green mist as the train starts going, so do the people.     lloyd, taking a seat in a booth: well this is nice!     Kai: hey that station just disappeared...     Nya: we are in the desert, you’re probably seeing a mirage.

-‘Staff memeber’ appears and talks to them, does the whole ‘welcome to the NTC!’ greeting and that’s when Plexi is like ‘Hey why does that sound familiar...’      >Staff memeber pauses and sees the compass      >Things start distorting as the person attempts to leap for the compass.      >Ninja retaliate and more staff come in and it’s a train brawl!

-All of the illusions stop as the door to the car flies open and now everything is *really* warping. The main antagonist, ‘The Conductor’, is heckin peeved. Jay is like ‘we need to get off of this train its HAUNTED AAAA’ but everything’s locked and outside of the windows now looks like they’re chugging over an abyss.      The Conductor: I am the Conductor, I control the train. That compass, give it to me.      Jay: NO it’s MINE!      The Conductor: Okay. I’ll take it form you once you perish.

-Conductor leaves and the room goes back to ‘normal’. The train is now moving extremely fast, and the doors have unlocked. The ninja start talking about how they are going to get out and Cole reminds everyone that ghosts hate water, and that the conductor is a ghost, and that Nya is the EM of water. They devise a plan to get to the front of the train to destroy the Conductor, but after a few cars Kai asks ‘just how long is this thing?’.        -Zane suggests that the squad goes to the back of the train, for if there is an engine in the back, it narrows down the possibilities.        -Jay: You mean, we have to go.. BACK?? through the EVIL TRAIN CARS??’        -Zane: do you want to know how long this train is, or not?’

-There is, in fact, an engine in the back of the train as well. Zane talks about the train a little bit based on what data he can find and Plexi makes another remark about  this being ‘somewhat familiar’.

-The squad get better coordinated and start going through the train cars liek butter and that’s when the Conductor decides that it’d be a good time to try to split them up, so he does so in groups of two or three. He does so by appearing behind them and grabbing Jay and dragging him through a bunch of the cars while he’s screaming. Luckily he dropped the compass, Cole and Zane trying to run after him and Nya and lloyd end up getting pulled into a train car behind.           Kai, standing up after being knocked over: oh no.. where’d everyone go??          Plexi, who has manifested a ghostly-ish body where the compass is floating where his heart is: Beats me, I can’t see squat. >:( Oh wait, ask that again, except be more specific.

-As the ninja work through the train cars, they continuously get shuffled around. After a bunch of madness in distorted fragmented memory nightmare train car things, Jay and Cole end up with Plexi and they arrive in a rather calm train car, save for the occasional staff member with the scribble face appearing and leaving.

-As the ninja get shuffled they find various pieces parts of who the conductor is, his name, and why he is after Plexi. (Plexi ends up telling Nya and Zane about what he remembers and then the others meet up with them in the train car and Kai is also like ‘ I pieced it together!!’        lloyd: We need to stick together. We need to get to the front engine.        Plexi: I just hope he’ll listen when I apologize to him...

-They get to the front and The Conductor is pissed but now he has nowhere to run, and Plexi heckin apologizes and he calms down a bit.       -Just in time too, Guess who’s walking on some tracks and your train is going FULL BOAR TOWARDS THEM?       -The train stops in the nick of time and the train starts to dissolve awy since the whole thing was an illusion and now The Conductor can finally rest in piece. Also hooray, Plexi is no longer bound to the compass and is free as well!

Everybody did wrong in Thor 2011. Well, everyone on Asgard did, Jane and Co. obviously did nothing wrong. But the tragedy was everyone was some level of arrogant and misguided.

i am sorry i had said that yashahime is not canon

Well, the “not canon” belief is not simple. Rumiko Takahashi was said to be part of the discussion of Yashahime basic storyline, she (and others memeber of the staff) were toying with the idea of a sequel since the end of Inuyasha.

Looking at things this way, the basic storyline (Sesshomaru having half demons daughters with Rin, Inuyasha and Kagome having a daughter, the new enemy and all the basic things we do not know yet) is canon. At the same time all the piecese are not directly written by Rumiko Takahashi, and it shows, she would have managed things in a different (and better) way.

So, i would say the story is canon but it’s really poorly written so far and this is not Takahashi’s fault. She’s said to check every episode but i doubt she has much power, sounds more like something they said to reassure fans. (And it didn’t even work.)
