Not going to lie, I was a bit nervous about posting my OC here because, well, I'm kinda new to this whole thing. But you'll never know how things will work out until you try, am I right?

((Misako out here trying to find ways to get her son out of a prophecy and you know, there's no doubt in my mind she tried to do somwthing similar during the serpentine wars. As a history buff trained in combat- and with spinjitzu under her belt as well, you can't tell me she hasn't been trying so hard to change the tides of fate.

But the tragedy is, every time she's too late or other outside forces cast their hands. And she takes it with stride each time.

I just have to wonder if she ever gets mad that she keeps seeing patterns no one else is. ))

The goosebumps hadn't left since he entered the bus. What was supposed to be a nice hour or so of gloating about his various self-inserted feats with the ninja had been ruined by an unshaken feeling of impending doom.

And yet, nothing was amiss. The other passengers chattered away, quieting at the sound of the tour guide announcing various attractions and letting loose with wild photography.

Dareth ran a hand down his neck and then the other, exhaling and squeezing his fingers. The sea-strewn wind felt cold against the back of him, as if grabbing his collar and daring him to look. And when he did, there was nothing, nothing but the people ahead of him laughing and the distant muffled conversation from behind...

What was that? The ocean? Its waves always sounded like a stadium or static, but- no, there was something more. A voice- a chorus of voices, their words barely distinguishable from a deep rumble.

'flee.'

'it rises.'

Shivering, he decided to make his way down into the bus from its viewing roof. If the tour wasn't going to cool his edge, maybe silence would.

And so he sat in silence, and the tour guide pointed out another attraction. And the silence continued thereafter. And the feeling became suffocating. ))
