Ok so I ship both lightbrush and fanbrush and it's because of their dynamic that is "actually mentally sane and orderly one x just a gremlin". However I wish with lightbrush people did utilize that dynamic (or something adjacent) more and not just break it down to like. A basic lovey-dovey mushy gushy stereotypical dynamic as that I feel honestly just takes away the personality that's what makes them so fun. I hope I'm making sense.

I feel with fanbrush people actually do highlight that wacky x sane dynamic alot more and I feel more gravitated towards that. Problem is. There is LITERALLY ZERO content of them. literally just CRUMBS while lightbrush has enough food to last like a decade.

Don't read this as me dissing one ship over the other though please. You guys are great and you do you ^^

lighthearted rant, i'm so tired of seeing people baby and treat specific characters in the osc as like sopping wet cats when they're deeper then that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this mainly shows up in book and taco (ii), book is an interesting and deeply flawed character but the amount of times i see her portrayed as "🥺🥺🥺sopping nerdy pathetic lesbian who doesn't know how to interact with people 🥺🥺" PISSES ME OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /lh once again but like. do you see the way she gets feisty and mad during bfb ~10-13 and the reasoning she acts that way be explained in bfb 14!!!!!! yeah shes a hurt character but this feels like too much at this point same for taco ii, when you look at the change of events shown after s2e14, yeah shes hurt and is unwilling to accept help but shes not "🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 pathetic silly girl sopping wet cat" THAT IS A GROWN WOMAN!!! SHE JUST PUT ON A FAKE PERSONA FOR HALF OF HER LIFE AND LIVED IN THE FOREST FOR THE OTHER HALF!!! i think Suitcase x Box x Nickel would be a great combination of ships. last episode was all about Suitcase&Box and i really like the friendship they just got. that coin guy was the gayest for a cardboard box da hell. i'm not a nickcase shipper but since they didn't get to talk in the finale, i think box would be the bridge between them to solve things out. help

In the span of like a month and half before the finale, I fully watched inanimate insanity twice, and became Mepads 5th most normal fan. Mepad was the only thing i thought about for a week before the finale.

I then proceeded to watch the finale when it released and was completely obliterated when he died .incredible. my favorite rectangular guy.... he is gone .....

Since Inanimate Insanity has recently ended, I've decided to tell my II journey to the void. We go back 7 years, aka half my life ago. (This will mainly focus on the main grand slams)

First of all, like many, I watched Battle for Dream Island first. I thought BFDIA got cancelled (didn't know there was a season 3 and beyond till WAY later) and found Inanimate Insanity. Only problem is I saw the big ol 1 in the corner of the SEASON 2 thumbnail, and figured that was the starting point. And. I. LOVED IT. I proceeded to watch the rest of season 2 the same day (well, what was available at the time, ep 1-11) and I was convinced that EP 11 was peak fiction.

Though that was also because I instantly related to Balloon. I didn't have the context of season 1 yet but as a kid that was bullied by "friends" seeing Balloon being shoved aside felt familiar. But as much as he was relatable I LOVED Suitcase because to me she represented someone that was kind and wanted to be friends with Balloon. It gave me hope that I could have a friend too... But as much as I just wanted a friend, I was 7 so naturally if anything got along they had to kiss- Stayed obsessed with Inanimate Insanity a little longer but my attention span was short and after finishing season 1 (I HATED it so I tried to ignore it's existence, I like it much more now, but at this time, yeah) I found other fandoms.

Flash forward 3 years later. I'm 10 now and my attention span is a biiiiit better (though I'm not obsessed again, it's just one of my background fandoms) and I find out 2 new episodes where out! Watched them, but ultimately was slightly sad because I realized that wasn't really going to be any Suitloon content from this point. But they were still enjoyable because Suitcase was still in it! Stayed in the fandom, EP 14 came out, then season 3. I remember when season 3 came out, I HATED Nickel and Balloon's friendship WITH A BURNING PASSION and it definitely didn't help that they're ship was absurdly popular. Balloon was my second favorite next to Suitcase so the fact that (I thought) they were writing him so BADLY (again, I THOUGHT) upset me. Eventually I warmed up to them and still didn't ship it but could respect it. By the time the finale happened I could it admit it was cute, just not my favorite.

...then I went to the meetup for S2 ep15 this june... and I'm HYPERFIXATED AGAIN. And stay hyperfixated until the finale (and honestly beyond). I'm having the time of my life, I get a Tumblr, I have both irl friends that actually stayed for another year and moots that i can hyperfixate with, and Im happier then ever! And...now it's over.

As much as it might sound dumb, I feel like I finally have the Suitcases to my Balloon and this show was able to keep me company until then. I remember how many times I would sob about never getting friends and watching Inanimate Insanity to give me hope. So thank you II. For helping that girl feel less lonely.

to that one razor hate ask. the safety tunnel survivors are also killing disabled people. repeatedly. and also cannibalizing them. so it's kinda hard to say they have the moral high ground over razor on that front. also razor doesn't only kill disabled people she kills everyone who she considers to be in her way (which isn't a morally good thing to do but it does make things more interesting). so diversity win there i guess? and she's a wolf bear because it's cool next question (1/2)

(2/2) cont. from razor hate ask response. also she was super op in doomed world because of starsheet. the pattern in her eye on that one panel was the same as the one for starsheet on the website. that's why the safety tunnel survivors were introduced as well it's to show how starsheet is affecting razor. she probably wouldn't be able kill all of them normally. plus now that part 2 is out we know razor was pretty badly injured from that fight and she's gonna need to recover from that. ok im done

I can't be the only one who is absolutely terrified to ever see Bot in the season 2 artstyle if they do end up continuing the show in any way. the season 3 artstyle just fits them way too well.

season 2's style fits for Bow because 1. that's what we've always seen Bow with and 2. the candy-like ball appearance works in her favor with the torn edges

but Bot doesn't have EITHER of those advantages. We've ALWAYS seen Bot with the season 3 style, and Bot's edges are already really rounded out. I think I would cry if I saw them in the season 2 artstyle. Please. don't Circle them :(((
