“Sounds like a plan.” GP leaned over the counter, planting a kiss on his wife’s lips before reluctantly dragging Max away from a curious P to discuss race strategy.

“Oh my god that’s a lot of smoke. But I think everyone is celebrating except the red bull fans because Max Verstappen has a mechanical problem and he is peeling off into the pits.”

The annoyance was very clear from the mechanics and as the marshalls ran down to extinguish the small fire that had started near Max’s breaks, but GP barely noticed this as he dashed across the pitlane. 

He was focused on his wife, who he had last seen chatting with Kelly and P about their future. He now couldn’t see her but he could see Kelly crouching on the ground and some medical staff close by.

“Hey, sorry, ‘scuse me.” GP had never cursed the sheer amount of celebrities at an F1 race as he tried to push through the crowd to where his wife was. He could hear Max and Christian calling out to him as he continued to push through the crowd towards his wife.

“Hey, darling, it’s all okay, I’m sorry for worrying you. I’m sure the smoke was a bit scary huh?” GP didn’t love his tone, he felt like he was babying his wife but he felt that short simple questions was the way to get through her panic.

“Mhm” she could look at him but she appeared unable to get any full sentences out. GP pulled her up by her arm and escorted her to Max’s drivers room, indicating to the driver that that was what he was doing.

“Shhh, shhh, you’re okay, breathe. Darling, it’s all okay. Max and everyone is okay. I’m sorry, the smoke must have been so scary.”

“Are you okay?”

“I'm fine darling, and I'm not going anywhere. I promise.”

Since your debut he would make an effort to attend all your lives, meet ups and CD signings, he understood that due to the terms of your contract with the company that now a relationship with you was off the table but that didn't matter to him, he told himself that he would always be the for you and you would be always be efficient to him and that the love he has would eternity be yours.

BAJi SCENARIO:

You met him at a meet up, he greeted himself politely and quite the gentleman however beneath that geeky facade lay a protective beast and you were about to meet this side of him when after your meet up event you were approached by a stalker fan who had been following you since your groups live in kanto one of those depraved souls who believed they owned you simply because you were nice to them, they accosted you in an empty conference room.

You were so scared when he approached you, his fish dead eyes gawking at you as if you were his next meal, “someone …anyone…please” were your thoughts as you backed against the wall, you didnt need to wait so long for in the blink of an eye your would be assailant was out cold on the floor, as you nerves calmed and your vision came into focus, right there standing infront of you was a guy with unruly hair, wild and untamed, you didnt know it at the time but today would mark a change in your life because the moment you learned the name Keisuke Bajiwas the day you never knew fear again.

RYUSEI SCENARIO:

You had been working in the industry for 5 years now, you were really tired, running on and empty gas tank, your make up hid a burned out soul who had been backed into a corner, your only solace was your online pen pal Cassanova-Snake01 (Ryusei), though you had not heard his voice you felt soothed by the kindness of his words and so one day out of the blue you gifted him a ticket to your next live.

During the live you went though the motions, it being just a job to you at this point, a pay check, after your performance you were outside getting some fresh air as you waited for your pen pal friend, you were soon approached by a blonde and tanned Male with a concerned smile on his face.

‘you look like you need a hug’ were the words that set you off, that finally opened the floodgates of your heart, you began pouring your very soul to him of how the industry really is, the strict rules, the pressure to perform, the having to look perfect all the time and the things that are overlooked, at the end of the of it you were a sobbing mess in his arms.

“ want my opinion…why dont you quit and come live with me while you get back on your feet?” Ryusei suggested, a few months passed and you graduated from the group you were in, you lived with Ryusei and taught piano from yours and his place, you enjoyed in each other's company, two souls free from the ties that bind.

a/n: so basically this whole idea came to me because of that PARTICULAR performance from Zeneration world tour that shall not be named for the sake of my insanity 🙃 i wrote this in one sitting, it's barely proofread so i humbly apologise-

21st May 2023. 

Time flew by quickly and it was already the last day of your best friend’s concert tour that was held in KSPO Dome, one of the largest and infamous grand venues where world-renowned artists have performed at. 

To say you were proud of your best friend, Hyunjae, would have been an understatement. You knew how much he and his group have been through for the past 6 years to get to where they are now. And now they were already onto their second world tour.

When your partner in crime practically got you free tickets for 3 days straight, how could’ve you said no?

Everything was planned out towards perfection. You were truly in awe of the entire planning process of the tour, from the stage set-up to the costumes, and of course to the flawless performances. 

One thing that you couldn’t have expected was how your bestie literally shed tears as he sang Horizon on stage. He wasn’t the type to bawl his eyes out, let alone let out all of his deepest emotions, even during your friendship. Heck, you were the one who always needed a shoulder to cry on, and he would be your best listener and comfort person, to say the least. You couldn’t help but to feel heartbroken seeing his vulnerable side on stage. 

But that wasn’t what surprised you the most. 

Certainly, nobody told you that he would be stripping on stage in front of 15,000 audiences. 

That made your jaw drop. And you just couldn’t get it out of your mind. 

As you made your way backstage, you greeted everyone along the way, from staff members to dancers, to the members, and eventually, towards your best friend. 

Being the goofy guy that he was, he headlocks your head in between his muscular arms and ruffles your hair, basically begging for compliments to be said about him. 

Of course, you gave the usual sweet words of praise that he always loved to hear, even complimenting him for his entrance during the opening till how he basically nailed every dance move in each song.

Except that you avoided talking about that particular performance. 

You felt like you weren’t your usual self, and you just couldn’t be as carefree as you usually were towards him. What was this emotion you were feeling? You have no idea. 

One thing you knew was that you practically avoided him like a plague during the after-party. 

Even though he was the one you’d always sit next to whenever you’d hang out, you couldn’t help but stick to the 98z gang, you always were close to them being in the same age group. Multiple times your friend has tried to get you back to where he was seating with Sangyeon and Haknyeon, but you tried by all means to seem like you couldn’t hear him or were too distracted by what was going on at your table. It was an after-party after all, there’s bound to be loud music, drinking, cheers, and games. 

A few times throughout the night your friend actually stood up and made his way towards your table, seemingly trying to physically pull you towards his, but every time you just found the reason to leave the room, saying how you’ve drank too much and needed to use the bathroom a little bit too often than usual. 

Eventually, the male gave up and decided to give you some space. You breathe in a sigh of relief, thanking the heavens that he was finally leaving you alone. Perhaps you really needed it, since your brain was still mentally processing what happened during that particular performance. 

Your group of friends were kind enough to let you stay at the hotel that they’d booked for the night, insisting that it was too late and dangerous for you to be travelling back to the apartment on your own. If you were given a free getaway place for the weekend, you of course had no reason to decline.

It was around 12am when you decided to let the members know that you’d be retiring to your room, that was until you heard a ding sound from your phone. 

It was a message from the person that you’ve been diligently avoiding. 

🎁 Hyunjae: Let’s talk. Meet me in front of my room. I will be waiting. 

You contemplated whether you should even accept his request, because hey then all of your efforts of avoiding the man has then gone to waste. But thinking about it, you’d actually feel worse if you left him all alone waiting for you to not show up.

In the end, you chose to be a good samaritan instead. 

You made your way towards his room located on the 12th floor, and sure enough, he was leaning against his door, arms crossed with his head down, and you swear he looked… annoyed? 

Whatever he was feeling, the goofy clumsy friend that you were accustomed to was gone. 

Slowly making your way towards him, you couldn’t help but not look him right in the eye. Instead, you muttered a soft “Hey, what’s up?” towards Hyunjae. 

Before you knew it, he was grabbing hold of your wrist and dragging you into his room, where he slammed the door shut and pushed you a little too aggressively against it. 

What was this? You have never seen such a side of Hyunjae before. Was it because of the influence of alcohol? Because you were certain he had a little too much to drink than he usually does. 

“Why are you avoiding me?”

“W-what? What’s going on Hyunjae-”

“Answer my question, Y/N.” 

You gulped. He seems… mad. Or is he not in the right mind because of alcohol? You couldn’t tell. In fact, you were a bit terrified by the current demeanour he was presenting. 

Just as you were about to think of a potential convincible answer, Hyunjae pins both of your arms above your head, and his gaze immediately darts down towards your now exposed neck. 

“If you’re not gonna tell me, then I’ll make you.” 

Without warning, he started leaving trails of kisses down your neck, sucking each spot and you couldn’t help but moan at the pleasure. God, he knew what he was doing, he was a master at this. Your knees began to feel weak, as he pushes one of his legs in between yours, which made you let out a gasp. 

Were you just gonna tell him the truth this easily? After all your efforts of avoiding him throughout the whole night? But if something wasn’t done now, god knows how long he is capable of doing- 

“I can’t believe you actually stripped on stage.” You blurted out all of a sudden which made the male stop his tracks.

It took a few seconds for Hyunjae to connect the dots, but when he did, he gave you the biggest smirk you’ve ever seen in all those years of being his close friend.

“Funny. You’re jealous.” 

“I’m not.” 

“Oh sure you were, that’s why you couldn’t look me in the eye and basically avoided me like a plague.” 

This time, he leaned his face closer to yours, till both of you were merely inches apart, as he fixed his gaze upon your lips this time. “You could’ve just told me, Y/N.” 

And there it was. Next thing you knew both of you were kissing. God, you have had so many fantasies about making out with your best friend, but not like this. 

The kiss was rough and breathless. Hyunjae practically gave you no time to have a breather in between, and that was when he suddenly lift you up where you practically wrapped yourself around the man as he lays you down onto his bed. 

In this heated moment, both of you were evidently taken over by lust, as you both began to undress one another. Before you could do that to the male though, he stopped your hands that were holding onto the hem of his shirt. “If you really want to see what’s underneath, you gotta work hard for it, sweetheart. Pleasure me.” 

That alone has left you stunned. Seeing this as an opportunity, he leans close towards your ear and gave you the most sensual whisper you’d ever expected to hear from him. 

“That reveal during Thrill Ride performance? Was specifically done just for you.”

You and your girlfriend were free spirits, the kind of people who could never sit still. Whenever a song came on, the two of you couldn’t help your feet from tapping and your bodies from swaying. You and Star could dance the entire night away.

The two of you frequented dance clubs, parties, beach bonfires, concerts, anywhere you could move your feet.

You always brought your boyfriend along too, there was just one problem.

David didn’t dance.

In all the time you’d been dating him, the most you’d get was a nod of his head or a small sway of his shoulders.

When you would grab Star’s hand and take the floor, David would give you a small wave from his place at the bar, watching, but never joining.

Your happy place may have been under a spotlight, his was on a barstool with a glass of whiskey.

You promised him it didn’t bother you, and for the most part that was true. You liked that David was a little different than you and Star, he grounded you.

But sometimes, you’d wonder what it would be like to see David let go and move to the music. You imagined taking his hand in yours, pressing your chest against his and swaying together.

But David didn’t dance so you were satisfied to keep that dream to yourself.

You stumbled towards the entrance to the cave excitedly, almost tripping over you own feet in your rush to see your partners.

Your friends had done an amazing job at making you feel special all day, but the night was for Star and David. They’d promised you they’d put together a surprise you’d “absolutely love.”

“Don’t be nervous, it’s gonna mean so much to him, he’ll love it,” you heard Star’s reassuring words as you shimmied down the ladder.

“I’ll love what?” you asked as you strolled into the cave’s main alcove.

“Baby!” Star exclaimed as she ran up to engulf you in a tight hug. You laughed as you wrapped your arms around her and pulled her in close.

“Happy birthday handsome,” David said with a smirk as he came up behind the two of you.

“My turn?” he asked Star.

She sighed dramatically, rolling her eyes but smiling as she pulled away, “I guesssss.”

You pulled David into your chest and kissed his cheek.

“Hey!” Your head snapped to see Star with her hands on her hips, though a joking smile played on her lips, “I didn’t get a kiss!”

Your lips turned up into a bright smile, “I’ve got kisses for everyone,” you promised as you pressed your lips to her cheek.

When the kissing, blushing and giggling died down, you put your hands up “ok, ok, what’s this surprise I’ve been hearing about?”

Star turned to David, “you wanna tell them?”

David smiled softly, “you go ahead,” he said as he pulled an envelope from his pocket and handed it to her.

Star beamed before pulling three tickets out of the envelope. “Platinum ABBA is playing at the boardwalk tonight, and we’ve got tickets at the barricade!”

You gasped, Platinum ABBA was the best ABBA cover band. You were touched by their thoughtful gift, tears began to well in the corners of your eyes.

“Thank you both, I- I love it,” you gushed as you wrapped an arm around each of them and pulled them in for a hug.

“We knew you would,” Star smiled as she squeezed your side.

After awhile David pulled back, “alright alright, enough with the touchy feely stuff, we’ve gotta get going.”

You laughed and rolled your eyes as David ushered you both out of the cave. Your smile turned to a smirk when his hand slid into yours.

Though your spots at the front were a little tight, the venue was big enough and Platinum ABBA was niche enough that you still had ample dancing room.

As the band began to play Chiquitita, you and Star swayed to the beat, twirling and twisting around. David watched the two of you laugh and swing with admiration. Though dancing wasn’t really his thing, he loved to see you happy.

Each song was the same, you and Star totally lost in the music, and David observing nearby.

Until the last song of the night.

A smile stretched across your face as you heard the familiar intro to Dancing Queen. Before you could take Star’s hands in yours, David offered you his.

You gasped as you looked up to see his flushed face. “May I uh,” he cleared his throat, “may I have this dance.”

Your heart melted. “Of course,” you told him as you laced your fingers with his. The two of you swayed somewhat awkwardly through the first verse, while Star clapped to the beat in encouragement.

When the chorus hit, all three of you clasped hands and spun around together, singing along to the words of the song.

You are the dancing “KING,” Star and David yelled with you over the sound of the music.

You couldn’t stop the smile that stretched across your face.

“So,” Star began, as she rested her head on your shoulder, “what do you think? Good birthday?”

Like the other anon said, it's not my place so feel free to tell me to stfu but as someone who has gone through a similar struggle in the recent past, I agree with them that this decision should be purely about you, not your partner. Like I understand that he is going through a rough time at the moment, but I'll be real with you, I think as is you've already done him a massive favour paying 25% rent for a place you're not living in and more broadly, this is your life you're talking about. I've been following you for half a decade now and in that time, a huge dream of yours has always been living in Australia, and even now, when you had the most god awful (but ironically/affectionately enough I'd argue also the most Australian) start in Australia, you've said you feel like you found the place you belong and somewhere that feels so easy to be. That's rare, especially for people who have strained relationships with their family (something I relate to you with and was a big factor that people didn't often consider in my decision. not saying it is for you, but it could be) and I think it's worth holding onto, when the alternative is 'going back home for one thing [him]'.

In saying that, is there any chance that long term (I understand him not wanting to come now given his friends' condition) he would be willing to move to Australia? Because, and I recognise that this may be unfair given we get your side and not his on here, it feels like every choice about the both of yours future (getting back together, whether to stay in Australia etc) has been on your shoulders/your burden to carry. Like you either have to choose one or the other while he gets everything with no compromise if you go back. Like I know my partner at the time was not up for it, but eventually came around when he realised that it's what I needed, so if that is an option at all, that could also be worth exploring. Anyway I feel like I'm ranting now but yeah, whatever you choose, just make sure it's for your benefit not his because it's your life.

My Dad. The best memories I have of my Dad are watching F1 races together when I was growing up. idk how long he'd been an F1 fan by the time I was born, but I still have a very old Ferrari hat of his.

2. Who was the very first F1 driver you supported? Do you support them now? Have your opinions on them differed or stayed the same since then?

As a kid Michael because of my Dad (according to my Gran when I really really little I used to run around going "vroom vroom Schumacher!"). When I got back into watching F1 in 2013 I supported Jenson and Seb, and I still do! They're very much my beloveds.

3. Who’s your current favourite F1 driver?

Lewis!

4. Is there a driver pairing or pairings you support? What made you attracted to that pairing in the first place?

the dream teams of Seb, Britta and Antti & Lewis and Bono. I am a sucker for colleagues turned besties.

And as for teammates, Lewis and Jenson are my favourites. I frequently go onto YouTube and look up old McLaren promo videos because they're just hilarious in the best way (also shoutout to Series 1 of Tooned, I still have it on DVD!).

5. Do your parents, siblings or relatives have a favourite team and/or favourite driver(s)?

Nope, I'm the only F1 fan in my family. My parents (Mum and Step-Dad) have the odd opinion on some drivers but as a whole they're very unbothered 😅

6. Do you have any favourite races? Are there any that stand out to you the most?

I have so many for various different reasons. Silverstone 2014 & 2018 because I was there. India 2013 and Singapore 2019 for Seb reasons, Hungary 2019 and Turkey 2020 for Lewis reasons. Hungary 2021 for the whole of lap 1 and also for Seb reasons. Bahrain 2014 also sticks out because it was such a good race long battle between Nico and Lewis.

7. Do you have a favourite circuit? Can be from the past or from the current calendar.

Silverstone and Marina Bay (Singapore)

8. Have you ever been to an F1 race in real life? Feel free to tell us your experience going to one if you like.

As mentioned above I have been ridiculously lucky to go to the British GP twice in 2014 and 2018. The first time my parents organised it and the second time was via coach trip (which honestly I would recommend, it took out a lot of the stress in terms of getting to the track).

Obviously it's been a while but both years were absolutely amazing. Silverstone is a brilliant circuit both in terms of spectator facilities and seating options (idk if they still have it, but for our weekend tickets we had roving grandstand seats for the Saturday which meant we could sit in different parts of the track for FP3 and Quali - Luffield and Village are great spots!).

The atmosphere at the track is also just incredible, even during a practice session. They also open the Porsche experience centre and have cars on display (including cars that have won Le Mans!!)

I did post some pictures at the time from both trips under the Silverstone 2014 and Silverstone 2018 tags and I'm happy to post more if people want!

2 - Do you have an accent?

Not really. Although technically my state has an "accent" that people kind of unofficially adopted. Sometimes my "a's" sound like "o's." It's not like southerners saying "wooter" and not "water," but the most obvious example is saying the name of my state itself.

4 - Have you ever slapped anybody?

I don't think so. Definetly not in a real, serious way, but I can't remember if I've done a stage slap or not.

5 - Did you learn a skill or get a new hobby during lockdown?

Honestly... I don't think so. Lockdown was really hard on me even being as big of an introvert as I am. I was depressed and mostly did what was familiar rather than doing new things. I've blocked most of 2020 out tbh.

26 - Have you ever won a contest?

Actually yes! Our big botanical gardens was opening a kids area and they needed a name for their mascot, a Marmot. The name I suggested was picked and I was there to attend the grand opening. It was televised and everything. I was gifted a marmot plush that I still have to this day (this was thirteen years ago).

I went there a couple years ago and the kids' section is still there and the mascot is still around here and there, although I don't think my name is anywhere. I can't even find articles about it.

Fuckin Cinnamon Buns. I could eat so many of those, especially the ones from Cinnabon.

43 - Is there a movie you detest for a very specific reason?

Fucking "Sound of Freedom." As most of you know, I worked at a movie theatre this past summer and it was the bane of my existence. It's about child trafficking and it released on the fourth of july. I extend my customer service to everyone but these people were/are ASSHOLES. Getting mad at me when showings were sold out (my co worker even had people ask if she could *move other people* from their seats so she could sell them to this old bat and whoever was with her).

On my last day I had two women buy tickets for it and try to trick me into free food by saying they ordered pretzel bites when they most certainly didn't, thinking I was too stupid to realize otherwise... I read their order back to them twice and they said it was fine both times. Jokes on them cause I rang them up in a separate order so they still paid...

Oh and our ushers have seen SEVERAL religious pamphlets and scriptures left behind on the seats.

But it did lead to this funny story:

When I was working on the 4th of July, every showing was full or almost full. This one dude with a Trump hat and a cross around his neck the size of my palm asked about a solution to the problem of his wife not liking butter on her popcorn but he did. I poured the popcorn into a paper bag we give out so people can share easier and let him use his free refill to fill the bucket again, so two buckets of popcorn.

He called me smart, asked for my name (since I didn't wear a nametag) so he could thank me properly, and gave me candy. I wished him a happy fourth since I really was hoping he would tell my manager I did a good job (praise is praise even if he wears a red hat) and he just bellows "AND A HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO YOU AS WELL, MA'AM!"

...so there was a thin veil made of ignorance and my own resourcefulness that prevented me from getting hate crimed at work since if this man knew a gay pagan had helped him out...

And no I don't think he actually talked to my manager about my helping him.

I seemed to get more respect from these people seeing this fucking movie than others (which says a LOT cause I had so many dicks I had to help) and I've theorized that maybe these nut jobs thought I was religious cause they saw the pin on the hair scarf I wore and assumed it was representative of some Christian sect...

...It's a Volturi crest pin.

But, yeah, to sum up, fuck this movie and the crowds it brings. I knew it was gonna be bad when I read the synopsis on my monitor the morning of the 4th and saw Jim Caveziel was the lead, fucking JESUS in "The Passion of the Christ..." and what's even WORSE is that he's the lead of "The Prisoner," the show I wanted to watch because of baby JCB.

Working Barbenheimer was like a doomsday for me, but Sound of Freedom was a chronic and horrid pain...

Although this happened, so that's horribly ironic:

💀💀💀💀 lol lev tolstoy T_T apparently (dont quote me on this) as much as a writer as he was it think, if i remember correctly, his stories are actually from his wife, like from her diary. i vaguely remember watching a vid like that.

anyway i personally used to write a lot of narratives/descriptions, because that was the kind of lit/fics i used to read, then i realized T_T i barely finish my work because of it and i like writing dialogue parts more, which is why i changed my style ig lol. i dont think theres anything wrong with being narative heavy, i personally have just deviated from it and sometimes i find it hard to read if i am not in the mood to read, ya know.

i feel it depends on the author. some have this feeling of rambling, but some write so beautifully and vividly.

first of all because of this ^^ paragraph, i went to my fic that started it all, i genuinely wrote it with no expectation and only because of my brain rot i thought i would get 10 likes in total and i was ok with that. like i purposefully posted it at night because i didnt want to wait and see if people would like it lol, cause yeah it is a bummer that your work doesn't get noticed. i was shocked to see my notifs blow up because of that fic. to be completely honest with you, most of the times many notifs on a story do not equate to it being good or bad, it just means a lot of people got to see it.

i used to prefer writing on ao3 because i got more engagement there, but ao3 lacked the message and inbox options and i tried posting some of my stuff here. this used to be the place where i read kpop fics cos, idk, kpop fics dont do so well on ao3 HAHAH or at least for me. lol i got off tangent there.

point is even i have a lot of fics were i put my heart and soul into and i get like 25 notes and im like DAMN ok, then i fart 1k crack and everyones like AHSFILAHFAS YASS and im like ????? ok ?????? so at the end of the day i tell myself its ok if only one other person likes my fic, all that matters is that that person and me like it <3 <3 <3 and thats a lot in my book lol

yeah i know how great it feels to have support from someone to purse your creative endeavors or just have someone support you in general. idk my mom stopped being impressed with me when i reached a certain age T_T because T_T i guess im already excellent in her eyes which is why she doesn't go 'OMG SLAY GREAT JOB' or smth she's always like 'oh yeah thats good' aT MOST because she already expected it of me, 'ok' [CRYING] T_T my dad gives more reactions, although T_T not very excited though, but idk my relationship with my mom is different with my dad i cant explain,

MY POINT IS I GIVE PEOPLE THE REACTIONS I WANT T_T

and when i was in my last years of highschool, i went to study music arts and design and T_T my classmates and i were so likeminded and we always encouraged each other and just being in that atmosphere made me realize how important it is to surround yourself with people who get it <3 <3 <3 T_T i miss them
