what roles would you assign them if they were in a horror movie?

Ooh, this is an interesting question, thank you sm for sending <3 Hmm, I thought a bit about it, feel like these ones would fit quite good:

The hero - Emilio Absolutely selfless and wants to help all. the. damn. time. But might become selfish when it comes to protecting people. Would probably die, maybe even early OR very late, and save everyone along the process, sacrificing himself for the greater good.

The survivor - Vale Regularly suffering and surviving the worst events, even without intending so, cause he hopes for his early demise. His ongoing survival torments him, as he wants everything to just be over. Also, everyone would cry if he DOES end up dying, despite it being his own wish.

The vigilante - Luca He'd always get his way, no matter what boundaries would be needed to cross. I'd see him going down in a big fight against the hero, while both of them would realize afterwards that the two of them were actually fighting for the very same thing.

Femme fatale - Sharon She'd make others bend at her will, with her (lingering) nefariousness at times probably getting overlooked because of her sheer seduction factor. Secretly maybe, even without realizing herself, the big villain behind everything and has so much more going on than what the others expected.

The nerd - Aaron Would surely figure out the mistery behind whatever is happening very fast. People would likely ignore him first, but as dangers get more dire, they'd start to listen to his analyses and advice, even if too late at times. Other people would probably be the ones to execute his plans.

Final girl - Gina She'd ABSOLUTELY have the skills to survive and make it to the end. And also, confront the villain to seek justice. Like, I don't doubt that for a second, she's capable of the very best. I can even see her turning bad people to the good side because of her sheer positivity factor.

The skeptic - Devyn I very much imagine so that he wouldn't care/wouldn't believe all the stuff going on. Probably either dying cause he realized too late, or would be the one overturning everything and be the main force in overcoming the crisis, I'd dare even call him Final boy? (him surviving everything along with Gina is also such a NICE scenario? I like.)

The harbinger - Kaia I can see her being the type of character who is already aware of everything since the very beginning, and got used to living with whatever is nearby pretty fast, possessing the right know-how, tricks and skills to perfect survival. Warns everyone who comes near the area, but of course nobody listens, and those fools wander into their impending doom...

The jester - and/or: betrayer - Maggie The game was rigged from the start (or other scenario, got lured to the bad side by nice promises and benefits). Would provide accidental solutions, or sometimes even intentionally steering people the wrong way. I can either see her surviving very long, or going down a fast, brutal way. Either way, she'd have very much fun, no matter what role she plays.

Because it inspired me to write my first fanfiction and sometimes I feel like life tortures me everyday beyond my limits. But I keep going anyways and I’m not gonna stop until I’m put down. Checking his comms messages was, an odd experience, firstly, why had Steamtrack sent a pile of incoherent glyphs. Was it a code? No, his processors couldn't unscramble it. And why a location? If she wanted his attention, she should have said it. Although, a pile of incoherent mess, peaked the Snake Mech's curiosity. He wanted to know what it meant and the best way to learn that was to shake it out of the femme herself.

What he didn't expect... was the scene he walked into. His pedes ceased momentarily, golden optics, staring, processing. Words, caught within his intake. "New paintjob?" Vocals mixed with a hint of confusion. No, he knew exactly what that color was, the greyness. He'd seen corpses before, he'd caused them. This was no different.

His pedes continued their approach, closer, until he stood right before Steamtracks. Her frame seated against the wall, frame slumped, grey, bleeding, with a clear blaster hole through her chassis. Plus, many more scratches and holes. She'd fought, to the end. She'd struggled, to stay online, huh. Who? Why? A strong ex gladiator like her, fallen, alone, on the streets. Not fitting for her. No, not at all.

He knelt down, servo reached towards her frame, pressed against her cold chest plates. Her spark, he didn't feel it. He didn't feel the warmth of it. It was gone, silent, cold. Why did his own spark stutter? Why did it ache? He'd seen death before, many times. Ones he knew, ones he interacted with. But never felt something. Not this way. Did he miss the warmth?

"Oh, Steamy. Before me? Really?" There was a weak chuckled grin, trying to mask it, humor fixed everything, didn't it? His servo was trembling, why did it tremble? Why were his finials lowered down? His forced grin fell, free servo brought to his chest plates. Rubbing, feeling his spark pulsing anxiously beneath the metal. Ouch, that didn't feel pleasant.

Was this his fault? Had he dragged her down too far? He couldn't deny the option. He'd taken lives from others, so why wouldn't another take something of his in return? No-- Surely not. And Steamtrack wasn't his, they were just... Just, frag buddies, comrades, surely not friends? He didn't have friends. Or lovers.

Stop it, stop, his head module, why was everything hurting now? Whoever did this to her, was going to suffer. Yes. Shift the pain, to anger, it's better that way. He hated feeling... upset... A horrible feeling, of loneliness, he'd be alone again. No comfort.. No, Stop, STOP--

His frame slumped against her cold one, servo circling around her slack frame. He cradled her helm against his chassis. So cold, he hated it, Steamy knew that, he hated the cold, so why... He hissed, a shuddering wave coursed through his frame before he began to bundle her broken frame into his servos. He needed to take her somewhere-- Can't leave her offlined frame for some random mech to collect. But where should he put her? How did one, take care of a corpse? Oh-- He was screwed.

5. What was life like for Rook before joining the Veilguard?

idyllic, for a time -- particularly in the years immediately following the Inquisition's dissolution, which freed up his father's time enough for them to return home to Rivain, back to Dhavan'an, and just live a semi-normal life. Rion wasn't Blight-sick to the point of significant deterioration just yet, and some of his troubles seemed further alleviated with Cullen's presence. it was easier to ignore the proverbial (and, i guess, in some ways literal) wolf at the door when that door for now remains in southern thedas and you are squirreled away in a northern paradise, far away.

so while his childhood was turbulent and torn between two worlds - one in Dhavan'an, and one in Skyhold - there was enough stability afterwards to ensure that Kerros' teen years were more settled, more formative, and he could finally sketch out an idea of the things he enjoyed. it became clear that Kerros' resourcefulness wasn't just a childhood trait borne of necessity, and what had taken root in his early years had now branched out -- he grew clever, and quick, but in the manner of something constantly outgrowing its shell, Kerros became restless.

this led to him spending more time on his grandfather's ship as they ventured out onto the seas, and the eventual revelation that his grandfather belonged to the infamous Lords of Fortune. it was an easy path to follow, and Kerros fit right in.

20. What’s it like to see them smile? Their laugh?

i think he's got such a wicked little smile, he always looks like he's waiting for you to notice what he's stolen or something. but it's never malicious or knife-edged, just amused.

he's pretty giggly, i think. no deep laugh like rolling thunder, and not quite a crackling fire either. it's light and reassuring, a sweet sound, like a secret shared between stumbling lovebirds. the kind you want to keep in a little locket around your neck.

25. How does Rook like to spend their free time?

lounging. like a cat in a perfect sun-spot. he loves to watch the world around him, take note of people's little quirks, invent entire stories for strangers, and generally just enjoy the variety of life.

in the Lighthouse though, i think he likes to try everyone else's hobbies. he likes to be taught things, to learn for his own benefit but also for the company involved. Kerros is not very good at being alone, so most hobbies don't appeal to him very much unless there's somebody to do it with.

41. What’s on their nightstand?

his rings! he wears many, and has many more besides. so they sit in a sweet little jewellery bowl on his nightstand for him to choose from.

usually an empty cup or two from when he's taken water to bed and forgot about it.

a well-thumbed copy of what looks to be a children's book, at first glance. it's written in elven, with illustrations of sea-wandering figures and vast oceanic landscapes. beautiful handwriting adorns the page inside the front cover, 'To Kesi, our bravest adventurer. May the tides bring you home, always.'

a whetstone that Cullen gave him, because his father is terrible at maintaining his own weaponry and Cullen doesn't want Kerros to fall into the same poor habits. a practical gift, but a well-loved one.

a leather bound wallet which holds a stack of postcard-like letters from his mother.

a small glass-dome, almost like a snowglobe, but within sits an ever-present, ever-glowing star. it's idle magic, a trivial little thing in itself, but it's a gift from his father as a child, and one that has lived in every bedroom he's ever slept in since. a reminder, mostly, of the one person in this world who says he would catch the stars for him, and he would believe it.

She makes it apparent that she doesn't want his help. Hands were unsteady in her own attempt, assistance already denied to soldiers passing by; if she couldn't do it herself, then she'd let it rot. But she would do it. The cut was deep, tearing flesh and cloth, her shirt would need to be discarded ... for now, it remains unbuttoned enough to slide off her shoulder, giving her room to clean the wound with gritted teeth and a refusal to wince. Eyes twitch, clicking her tongue with every surge of pain, she is not used to getting hit. It infuriates her more than the cut. She needs to be better.

It's the stitching she ends up struggling with. Laura blames the placement, the open cut stretching across her shoulder; she knew the basics of tending to wounds, as they all were taught, but she'd never had a gentle touch to begin with. Exceling enough to understanding, but putting it into practice was messy, cold, and unpleasant to those involved when being handled by her.

Laura is exhausted / but to succumb to that fact was inexcusable.

She doesn't get to ponder for much longer. The equipment beside her is snatched, breaking her concentrating. Eyes dart up with a sharp stare and when she sees who it is, eyes only narrow with a deep frown. No. She absolutely does not need his assistance. How bad must she look, how poorly did he believe she was doing, for him to come over in the first place.

“ What are you doing? ” A part of her knows she's being overly stubborn. A brief moment of understanding, that she might rather get it sorted, to relieve of her having to jab the needling into her skin, to avoid infection ... but, the thought of it also stabbed at her pride, would just showcase her inability; she doesn't need help, because she is better. A quiet huff escapes her, heavy eyes indulging burn-out as they cast aside, even as brows furrow. “ What makes you think I trust you with that. I don't need you messing it up. ”

My mom just sent a message to the family group chat suggesting that my siblings download the 'For the Strength of Youth' magazine on their Gospel Library app and talked about how much the youth magazines helped her testimony growing up and like, cool. 12. Ever tried any out there hair colors?

🌸｡*ﾟ+. I did so twice... once in college and then another time... literally just last month pfft~

The first time, I had died my hair a Dark-Bright blue... let me explain !! Indoors, my hair looked black. No one was the wiser that it was blue. But when the sunlight specifically hit it? It turned BLUE. Like. "Oh My God Blue" blue. It was crazy and I actually didn't mean for it to turn out that way, but! I honestly loved it! It was super neat and I enjoyed the double-takes from my friends who were talking to me inside the building, only for us to pass by a window and my hair to change right before their eyes and them go "OH MY GOD YOUR HAIR IS BLUE!!!"

The second time I tried pastel pink. Unfortunately my hair is so heavily red toned that even after multiple sessions of bleaching, purple masks, etc... and as my hair looked super pale and colorless... the pink dye didn't stick and it made my hair look more on the... strawberry blond side? You could tell from the top it was supposed to be pink, but my hair was more on the golden-orangey creamsicle side only to fade to white. It was strange.

Maybe one day I'll go to the salon and get it professionally dyed pink, but that's not a priority right now c': just a fun thought!

One. Obviously excluding Killer, out of all of the Supernovas, Kid is most naturally drawn to Luffy. He would never admit this; in fact, he would deny it vehemently should Luffy ever attempt to press him on this secret. He could never live it down if this truth were to be exposed. Regardless of his immense embarrassment, Kid does like Luffy; if nothing else, he's undeniably interesting, and never fails to be a valuable source of entertainment. He's wild, eccentric, unapologetically himself, and unquestionably charismatic. These are all traits Kid can't help but take notice of. They're rivals before everything else, so he wouldn't be inclined to refer to Luffy as being his friend, but he at least finds him more endearing than the rest of the Worst Generation.

Two. Luffy was the first and currently only pirate to speak of becoming the Pirate King with the same conviction that Kid has used to make the same claim. They both share a similar level of assertiveness, and an unwavering determination. When Kid had spoken of his ambitions in the past, it had been met with ridicule; to hear Luffy recite the same lines with equal resolution was both refreshing and startling. He was the first person to ever mirror his own unwavering ambition, and though that did automatically pin him as the rival he would need to be the most cautious of, it also resulted in an unspoken degree of understanding and connection. They both want the same thing, and never has Kid met anyone so equally determined to get it.

Bonus. Kid finds the fact that Luffy's body has the properties of rubber to be kind of weird, and he's slightly grossed out by that sometimes. He doesn't always address it because he doesn't want to come across as being a wuss, but there have been a few times where Luffy has demonstrated a particular ability his elasticated body can perform, and Kid has internally thought "Ew, that's nasty."

Day 2's prompt is "Self Insert"

I chose to insert myself into Homestuck, because I'm still trash all these years later. Tbh self inserting myself into homestuck, or homestuck-adjacent scenarios, has been a long time escape daydream for me. I'm always thinking about how cool it'd be to become god tier and about all the trauma playing SBURB would cause lol. I like to imagine how I'd get along with the characters too. As a Homestuck character, I'd be good friends with John/June Egbert (windy buddies hell yeah), and I think somehow we'd both end up getting retcon powers and saving the day together (maybe I got recon powers first and I ended up in Homestuck proper thru shenanigans involving them? idk). I'd also be besties with Karkat. We'd develop some unspoken feelings for each other that don't come out until post-canon/Homestuck 2, and in the meantime I'd be with Jane til she decides to go for Jake/Gamzee and have Tavvi (who'd I'd eventually steal adopt as my son so he wouldn't have to have a fascist as a mother)
