The magic takes hold. There's no visual change besides how she holds herself. A bit more confidently, but with a scowl on her lips. The young daemon holding her hand right before the anon's nose, poised to flick them.

His arms are crossed as Grimbright leans on the door frame of their house, brown eyes scanning over the strange man before him. He hadn't exactly told Jewel to hide the fact that he had given this place to her, but he wasn't keen on sharing her location with someone he saw as a complete stranger.

And as far as he was aware her father was long since dead.

He's nervously offering Eath a handmade card of folded construction paper with very poor handwriting... but it's covered in cute little stickers of cats drinking tea. Inside, it says "You changed my life for the better!!!" and has a few yen coins taped onto it. "Umm... h-happy Valentine's day."

But she's clearly overjoyed he did, ears raised and the left one flicking excitedly. The card is taken into her hands and she opens it carefully,

She smiles, before her goat like eyes grow wide as they rest on the coins taped to the inside of the card. Her smile growing even bigger as she carefully frees them of the tape to examine them

And quite suddenly she's reminded that she has her own gift for him. The small daemon holding up a hand with a quiet, "hold that thought" as she digs around in the satchel she was carrying around today. Holding out a small box wrapped in cloth and tied with twine. Within is a wood carved figurine of himself holding a tiny flame, but the "flame" is actually a small blue flower. There's also a few homemade tea blends inside the box, as well as some other herbs that would be good for cooking.
