You adjusted your uniform for what felt like the sixth time that morning, glancing at your reflection in the school bathroom mirror. With a held breath, you stepped back into the empty hallway, checking once more the paper in your hand with precise directions to the teachers’ lounge. There, you were supposed to meet Professor Ittetsu Takeda for a brief tour of Karasuno High.
You stopped in front of the door and, after taking a deep breath, knocked a couple of times. The door opened, revealing a tired-looking woman who lowered her gaze when she saw you.
"Yes?" she asked, her expression somewhat neutral.
"Excuse me, is Professor Takeda here?" you asked, hesitating slightly as your fingers played with the Sanrio keychain hanging from the strap of your bag, trying to calm your nerves.
Before the woman could respond, a young man with a friendly appearance, wearing glasses and a green tracksuit, appeared suddenly and offered you a small bow.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Takeda-sensei. I’m really grateful that you’re giving me this tour,” you said with a calm voice.
"The pleasure is mine!" Takeda responded enthusiastically. "Karasuno High is a special place, and I’m sure you’ll feel welcome here. Are you ready for the tour?"
“Yes, sensei,” you replied with a smile, feeling your nerves start to fade, thanks to the professor's warmth.
Takeda nodded, giving you a brief summary of the various spaces you’d visit as you walked down the school’s hallways. The tour would start at the main facilities and finish at the gym. As you walked, he explained the structure of the school’s clubs and the steps to take if you were interested in joining one.
“Do you have a music club?” you asked, quickening your pace to keep up with him. Your old school didn’t have such a club, so you hoped to find one at Karasuno.
Takeda paused briefly, adjusting his glasses before replying.
“I can’t say for sure,” he answered, thoughtful. “Last year we had a music club, but it was quite small, and I’m not sure if it will continue this year.” He opened one of the exit doors and, gesturing with his hand, invited you to go first. “Do you like music? Do you play an instrument?”
“Yes!” you replied enthusiastically, your eyes lighting up as you spoke. “I’ve been playing the piano since I was eight.”
As you moved through the hall, you shared with Takeda-sensei how your interest in music began. You talked about the hours spent practicing, the recitals, and how the piano had given you a personal refuge and a means of expression.
“That’s admirable, Y/N,” said Takeda with a genuine smile as he listened to your story. “Just one last stop,” he added before stopping. “Well, here we are. This is the gym. Impressive, isn’t it?”
“Wow…” you murmured as you entered, taking in the vast space, much larger than anything you’d seen at your previous school. “It’s amazing.”
Takeda nodded, visibly pleased with your reaction.
“That’s right. This is where the volleyball team trains and plays their matches,” he said, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked around the space. “You might even get a chance to see them in action one day.”
The suggestion piqued your curiosity. You’d heard of Karasuno’s volleyball team’s reputation and began to imagine the vibrant energy and excitement during their matches.
“Well, that’s all for today,” Takeda concluded, turning to you with a kind expression. “I hope the tour helped you get a little more familiar with the school. If you have any other questions or need help, don’t hesitate to find me.”
You returned his smile, feeling that the warm environment of the school had started to dispel your initial nerves. As you left the gym and bid farewell to Takeda-sensei, you truly felt welcome at Karasuno, certain that this was the beginning of a new chapter full of possibilities.
The persistent sound of the alarm clock echoed through your room, abruptly pulling you out of sleep. You sat up quickly, the excitement of your first day at the new school banishing any trace of drowsiness. You dressed hurriedly, making sure every detail was in place, and dashed downstairs, almost skipping, arriving at the kitchen where your mother was finishing preparing breakfast.
“Mom, breakfast!” you said, leaning against the counter with an expectant smile.
“Here you go,” your mother replied, carefully placing the breakfast into your bag. She then moved closer, bending slightly to adjust your uniform and gently fix your hair. “Do you want me to take you to school?”
“No, thanks, I’ll walk,” you said, giving her a kiss on the cheek as a goodbye.
With the key safely tucked in your skirt pocket, you left the house and began walking uphill toward the school. As you plugged your headphones into your phone, you let the first chords of your favorite song fill your ears, creating a small bubble of tranquility around you.
Suddenly, a sharp voice cut through the music in your headphones.
“Watch out!”
Startled, you looked up just in time to see a boy on a bicycle speeding toward you. With quick reflexes, you stepped out of the way, feeling the rush of air as he zoomed past you.
“Sorry!” the boy shouted as he continued pedaling, not slowing down.
“Idiot…” you muttered, irritated, as you returned your attention to your phone to change the music. With a sigh, you decided to let the small incident go and focus on the rest of your walk. The morning was still young, and in the air, you felt a mix of nerves and excitement about what the day would bring in this new chapter of your life.
You entered the classroom and chose a desk near the window, from where you could observe your new classmates as they settled in. The atmosphere quickly filled with conversations and laughter, with several students starting to form groups and chat enthusiastically. You found yourself wishing for the same, repeating to yourself that you would make friends eventually, as you watched more classmates enter and take their seats.
Soon after, the teacher entered the room and began writing some instructions on the board before turning to the group.
"Alright, everyone, split into groups of three to start today’s activity," she announced energetically, leaving the chalk on her desk.
You frowned as you looked around, aware that you didn’t know anyone yet. You hoped someone would invite you to join a group, fearing you'd end up alone while the others formed their teams.
"Hey... hey, you," a voice called out toward you.
You turned your head to see a short boy with orange hair and a friendly smile. He was extending his hand toward you, and as you looked at him more closely, you immediately recognized him as the same boy who had almost run you over with his bicycle that morning.
"Do you want to team up with me?" he asked with an upbeat expression.
You hesitated for a moment, but quickly realized you didn’t have many options.
"Sure," you agreed, trying to hide your surprise.
The boy’s face lit up as if he had just won a prize. Without hesitation, he moved his desk next to yours and sat down, showing the same energy he had earlier.
"I’m Shoyo Hinata!" he introduced himself enthusiastically. "And you?"
His energy was contagious, and although you started the conversation with some reservation, you couldn’t help but smile at his friendliness.
"I’m Y/N Y/LN," you replied, noticing that despite the morning mishap, the idea of having such an enthusiastic and friendly partner wasn’t so bad.
Hinata, moving energetically in his seat, looked at you with a wide smile.
"It’s a pleasure. I saw you this morning on your way to school," he said, his enthusiasm palpable. "I almost ran you over, I'm really sorry."
He looked slightly embarrassed by the confession, but the sincerity in his tone made you feel like there was no ill intent.
"It’s okay, it was my fault," you replied, trying to reassure him. You saw him relax as the excitement returned to his eyes. However, his expression soon turned thoughtful.
"Hey, Hinata, we still need one more person," you commented, remembering that the group needed to have three members.
"Right!" he exclaimed quickly, looking around the classroom with anxiety before pointing to a girl at the back of the class, her black hair falling in soft waves over her shoulders as she fiddled with her phone. "How about we ask her?"
You looked at the girl he had pointed to. She seemed completely absorbed in her screen, not paying much attention to the commotion around her.
"Of course, why not?" you replied, determined. You had nothing to lose.
Hinata, with resolve, stood up from his seat with a confident smile and quickly made his way to the girl. It was clear that he wasn’t the type to hesitate or hold back for too long. You watched him as he approached and said something you couldn’t hear. After a couple of brief exchanges, the girl looked up, seemed to think about it for a moment, and finally nodded.
Hinata returned to your side, accompanied by the girl, who sat down at the empty desk in front of you.
"Nice to meet you, I’m Nakamura Nayuta," she said with a shy smile, introducing herself politely.
When the teacher saw the group was complete, she began explaining the instructions for the activity. As the class went on, the three of you began to share details about yourselves. It turned out that none of you had ever been to Karasuno before, which gave you another point of connection. When the activity ended, you decided to keep talking and get to know each other better.
"Ahh, Nayuta-san, do you like volleyball?" Hinata asked enthusiastically, pointing to the background on Nayuta's phone, where volleyball player Ishikawa Yūki appeared.
"No," Nayuta replied distractedly, without taking her eyes off her phone.
"What? But you have a volleyball player as your wallpaper!" Hinata looked genuinely surprised, almost disappointed by the answer. Then, with his eyes shining with excitement, he turned to you. "And you, Y/N-san? What do you think of volleyball?"
"No, I’m not very good at playing, I prefer music," you confessed, doodling on the corner of Nayuta’s notebook with your pen. You couldn’t help but feel a bit of sympathy for Hinata, with his energy so contagious.
Hinata, seeing that neither of you shared his enthusiasm for volleyball, felt a little discouraged but quickly composed himself. "I love volleyball!" he said with a wide smile, his eyes shining with determination. "And I plan to become the next star of Karasuno."
"Aren’t you a little short to play volleyball?" Nayuta asked, still not looking away from her phone. The question, delivered with unsettling calm, made Hinata’s shoulders drop slightly. As for you, you couldn’t help but stifle a small laugh at your new friend’s direct comment.
Hinata, however, didn’t lose his composure. "Yes, but I'll be as cool as the Little Giant," he said, regaining his enthusiasm. With a defiant attitude, he crossed his arms over his chest, as if he could already visualize his bright future.
"I’m sure you’ll make it," you replied, smiling as you looked at the passion in Hinata’s eyes. His optimism was refreshing, and his determination seemed genuine. The conversation flowed easily, and you were starting to feel like part of this small group, despite being new to the school.
Nayuta finally looked at both of you with a calm expression. "Whatever you do, I hope you have fun," she said, her words more reserved but filled with a subtle warmth.
"I’m already excited to join the volleyball team!" Hinata exclaimed with enthusiasm, quickly packing his school materials into his bag. "What about you guys? Which club are you going to join?"
"I don’t know yet," you replied, briefly considering the possibilities. The music club had caught my attention, but as Takeda sensei mentioned, I wasn’t sure if it would still be offered this year. I looked at Nayuta, who, with slight indifference, shrugged.
"I’ll probably join the reading club," she said with a small smile, not offering much more.
The bell rang, signaling the end of the class, and the students began to get up from their seats and leave the classroom. Nayuta quietly said her goodbyes, heading toward her next destination. Hinata, on the other hand, wasted no time and turned to me with a look full of enthusiasm.
"Let’s go, Y/N! Come with me to the gym, maybe something will catch your eye and you'll join," he said, making an animated gesture with his hands. His energy was contagious, and I couldn’t help but smile at his excitement. Seeing my hesitation, he added with an even more pleading tone: "Please!"
I felt a bit embarrassed by the way he asked me to join him, but in the end, I accepted with a slight smile. "Alright, alright," I replied, feeling the warmth in my cheeks as I noticed some people in the hallways staring at us curiously due to Hinata's commotion.
"Yes! Wait here, I’ll change first!" he exclaimed, almost shouting, before running off toward the boys’ bathroom.

Hi hi!! I saw your lemonade stand and I LOVE the concept omg. Can I request a medium watermelon lemonade with pomegranate seeds for Asahi?
Thank you so much if you write it !! I hope you have a great day 🩷
Sharing A Tent With His Crush
word count: 1926 || avg. reading time: 8 mins.
pairing: Asahi x chubby manager!Reader
genre: fluff with spice
warning: mdni, spoilers
request: fluffy-spicy, sharing a tent with pining friend Asahi
“One, two, three, four…”
As Takeda counted in the background, Coach Ukai studied his clipboard, listening with a content smile to the hollering and laughter that was carried up from the beach by an easy sea breeze. The kids were off swimming and building sandcastles and trenches, enjoying their hard earned freedom after weeks of studying and practices.
“Oh no.”
Ukai turned to the teacher.
“What is it, Sensei?”
“Oh nononono - no!”
“What? Did we forget a cooler? What?”
“We are one tent short!”
“What?!”, Ukai’s booming yell made some birds fly out of a tree top, “I double checked it! Are you sure?”
The men stood shoulder to shoulder, counting. Again. And again. But even after the fifth time, Ukai had to admit his mistake.
“What are we gonna do?”, Takeda asked, panic rising in his voice.
“We just… gotta rethink logistics.”, Ukai said, grabbing the clipboard once more and flipping to the page of the sleeping arrangements.
One of the boys was supposed to sleep alone anyway. And one of the girls, too, because both numbers were uneven.
“Maybe we can squeeze Nishinoya, Hinata and Yamaguchi into one and then have y/n take the free boys’ tent.”
“Sensei, we can’t just sort them by size. I think… hm, y/n is a third year. If we put her with one of the other third years they should have the presence of mind not to try any funny business. The first years won’t get a wink of sleep having a girl so close to them at night and the second years are as girl-crazy as they come.”
“How about Sugawara then?”
“Don’t be too trusting, Sensei. I don’t think he is as innocent as he seems.”, Ukai said with a frown, “And Sawamura might do something without even realizing he is flirting. - I hate to say it but … Azumane will be too chicken to even go near her. I think he is our best bet.”
Asahi went pale when the news broke over dinner. He looked at you and was quite relieved to see you equally as shocked.
“It‘s just for one night.“, Ukai said quickly, “Not a big deal.“
Both the ace and third manager would very much beg to differ but the coach already made his way back to Takeda and his plate of chicken.
“No big deal.“, you repeated under your breath.
“No big deal.“, Asahi agreed.
It was, in fact, a big deal to Asahi. He didn‘t know exactly when he started to be hopelessly in love with you but if he had to take a guess, it was probably somewhere around the time when he noticed all of his sketches and doodles of various outfits becoming chubbier until they eventually matched your figure. Skirts for a lovely Sunday date, pantsuits for eventually kicking butt at an office where you undoubtedly would end up as CEO sooner or later, dresses for imaginary galas you‘d attend and even an elaborate gown for a daydream of a royal ball he had during a boring physics lesson. (He also came up with his own outfit for that occasion to match you.)
Noya was the only one he confided in. The libero had sworn on his honor to never hit on you and ever since tried to push his best friend to make a move before graduating and possibly losing sight of you. And after much pushing and pestering and strategizing, Asahi, under threat of violence, had agreed to confess his feelings before graduation - as an out, Asahi didn’t tell his friend that he hadn’t actually specified whether it was graduating high school or university so he still had time either way.
After dinner the team gathered around a bonfire to roast marshmallows and make up completely ridiculous, yet confident, remarks about constellations in the clear night sky.
Asahi was torn between wanting to play for time until curfew or savor every second of the increasingly appealing mishap - to share a tent, all night, alone, side by side with his crush.
But of course, as with every good beach episode, there had to be a game of truth or dare involved.
Daichi was forced to admit that he was deadly scared of mice, Hinata had to sit still for a whole minute and, in the meantime, Tsukki was dared to not insult him once. It was fun until Noya turned to you and the glint in his eyes made you gulp.
“So, y/n-san. Truth or dare?”
Quite frankly, both of these were dangerous coming from him but maybe truth wouldn’t be so bad.
Noya gave a victorious grin.
“Who, of the people here, do you have a crush on?”
Asahi wasn’t sure if it was the light of fire that made your cheeks look so pink. His heart quickened. You stammered, kneading your fingers in your lap.
“Alright everyone.”, Daichi said when an alarm went off on his phone, “Let’s get to bed. Lights out in 15 minutes.”
Noya groaned and began to argue but one look from the captain had him crumble. So instead, he and Tanaka pushed each other out of the way, eager to be the one to accompany Kiyoko the few steps to the tent she shared with Yaachi.
Suga and Daichi gave Asahi a nondescript nod Goodnight before heading to bed themselves.
It was quite miraculous, you thought, how Asahi’s massively tall frame could fit next to you, when your plump form occupied a good part of the truly pathetically crammed tent already.
You sat cross legged on your sleeping bag, in your pyjama shorts and oversized t-shirt. Given the sleeping arrangements you decided to keep wearing a bra.
“Just for one night, right?”, you said in a (failed) attempt to make your voice sound light and airy.
You pumped some oil into the palm of your hand before running your fingers through your hair. The pleasant smell filled the tent. You caught his eyes and smiled, then both of you looked away again. The atmosphere was somewhat stiff, even though you’ve been on friendly terms with the fellow third years ever since you switched over from the Sewing Club about a year ago.
“Do you think-“
“So what would you-“
You said at the same time and broke off, laughing awkwardly.
“You first.”, he said.
“Do you think it’s okay if we keep on a light?”, you asked.
“Sure. Do you have one? Cause otherwise, I brought-” Asahi reached for his backpack and so did you.
After a moment’s rummaging you produced a small panda bear figure and turned to see a thing in his hand that looked suspiciously like a round little rabbit with a leaf umbrella.
“Is that… is that the official Totoro night light with 8 different color options and dimming function??”
Asahi nodded and you clasped your hands in delight, leaning closer to inspect it as he held it out to you. You let out a small gasp. This was one of the best night lights on the market right now after all!
“I wanted one of those for ages! But they're always sold out! How did you get it?”
“I set myself an alert for when they’re back in stock.”
He basked in your impressed “Ohhhh” and a few minutes later you both lay on your stomachs, looking at the two soft glowing figures in front of you.
Outside the tent, Ukai nodded approvingly on his last checkup before turning in himself in the room he shared with Takeda in a guesthouse on the border of the camping grounds.
“What was your question?”
“Hm?”, Asahi turned to look at you.
“Earlier when I asked you about the light. You wanted to say something as well. What was it?”
“Oh, not important.”, he said and moved the Totoro night light a little closer to your panda.
“Come on, I wanna know.”, you lightly pushed his leg with your foot to encourage him.
“I was just… I-i was wondering what you would have said if Daichi’s alarm hadn’t gone off.”, he mumbled.
“When? Oh, the game. Uhm.” The pink from earlier returned to your cheeks. Now would be as good a time as any, you thought and after a deep breath you replied, “You.”
Stupidly, Asahi rolled around to check if there was someone else behind him in the tiny tent before moving his attention back to you.
“Me?”
“Yeah, you.”, you laughed.
“I- I don't know what to say.”, Asahi stammered.
You regarded him with a thoughtful smile, still somewhat hopeful that what Kiyoko and Suga told you was right.
“Well, you could tell me if you feel the same or not, maybe?”
“Oh right! Yes!”, he said, much louder than intended and ducked his head a moment later, “Yes, I do like you. A lot.”
You beamed at him.
“Nice.”
The following giggles were suppressed in your respective pillows.
When you came back up for air he brushed a few loose strands of hair out of his face and cleared his throat, “Would you like to go out with me once we’re back?”
“I’d love to.”
“Great.”
You both looked at each other, unsure of what to do next.
“So…”, you began, weighing your words carefully, “Do you wanna make out?”
If Asahi had been drinking water, he would have choked on it. His face immediately turned bright red and he needed a minute to put a coherent word together. You waited patiently.
“Yes.”, he croaked eventually.
He didn’t move.
“I’ll be right there.”, he assured you, his voice and face still not quite back to normal.
“That’s alright.”
Asahi’s eyes widened when you scooted closer and your noses almost touched.
“Hi.”
“H-hello.”
It started out with a peck. You pulled back to check if he had any objections but you didn’t get very far. His lips followed yours as if magnetic. He sighed into the kiss and your smile widened if possible even further. His large hand came to rest on your waist and you slotted your leg between his. The kiss soon became open mouthed, your tongue slipping back and forth to test the waters.
You hummed happily against him, making him squeeze your pillowy hips. He was losing his mind. How could one person feel this good? Your hand brushed down his muscular arm to lay on top of his and began to move it. He was so engrossed in your taste that he didn’t notice until he cupped your breast.
“Y/n…”, he breathed, resting his forehead against yours. He stared at his hand, how it went up and down along with your panting. You, in turn, felt him throb against your thigh that was pushed between his legs.
Your chubby fingers closed around his much larger hand, easing him into the idea that he was free to touch you.
“Y/n…”, he whispered again and was met with your lips on his once more. He had never been drunk before but he was sure this was exactly what it must feel like.
Asahi groaned into your mouth when his palm pressed against your hardened nipple, pushing through the fabrics.

Picking up a piece of omelet with his chopsticks the next morning, Asahi grinned down at his bowl of rice like an idiot. You sat right next to him, so close that your heavenly thighs touched his, just as dazed from the previous night.
Tsukki frowned and said to no one in particular, but loud enough for you to hear, “Do they realize that tents aren’t soundproof?”
a/n: this one got so away from me xD thank you for your request and your kind words! I hope you enjoy it 🌟
Also I apologize for being so inactive. It’s a mixture of writer’s block, summer heat and a twisted back 🥲

Hey! I think your requests are open, but if not please feel free to ignore this!
I was just listening to Too Sweet by Hozier and had the idea of a reader who has a crush on (or is dating) Nishinoya and feels like she doesn’t deserve him
Falling In Love With Him
Pairing: Nishinoya x Reader
Warning: Comfort
Note: To write an angst story, I need an edit of them but I can't find anything so writing this is quite difficult but I seem to manage. My apologies if I decide to use another song for your request. But Thank you for the idea!

Admiring one of the best players in the school sports club is much more difficult than what I have thought. No matter how friendly he is to the people around him. Approaching him is like a damn challenge.
When a timid girl like me is the one who started to like him.
I was hopelessly in love with Nishinoya. Because I can put so much effort for him.
From the food I secretly give to him through Yachi. The notes I put on his table before he arrives back on class.
The nights I stayed awake just to think what I could do for him again.
Yet confessing was never one of them.
I once thought of it until I accepted that I am not deserving of him.
I can't taint a loveable man like him.
My mind is full of negativity. It feels like there's no positive things around me unlike him.
I am just an average student who is only good at one thing.
And that is my studies. The thing that made me feel like I am no one without it.
I keep chasing the academic validation I needed that I thought I shouldn't be in a relationship with anybody.
It was one of the reason why I never pursue the libero further.
I knew I couldn't give more than he deserve.
I'm Kazue Y/n, an average girl who can't have a leading man like him.
Until Intrams arrive. The time I feel like God showed another sign that I need to believe in.
A chance to move so I can obtain my happiness. And that's him.
A long week of Intrams gave me another chance to see him play in the court without getting scared that he would find out about it.
My eyes during his matches were always in him that I started to think...
Can I go closer to him? Can I close the distance between the two of us?
Can I take this secret admiration further?
"I'm so lost" I muttered while letting my body move on its record as customers piled up in our booth.
I sighed in annoyance with how timid I am in his presence yet can't stop thinking and even blabbering about my admiration for the libero.
It feels like all of my classmates knew how much I like Nishinoya. One time, they almost used Takeda-sensei so I can just enter the gym.
But it didn't happen because of the panic attack I had that day.
Yes, I really couldn't face him and I'm not even joking.
It feels like I prefer to move behind the curtains.
I want him to know me, love me like I did.
But I can't dream of it. It was simply impossible for me.
Because I'm scared on the way he would see me. Even though he is not the type of person to judge somebody.
I slap both of my cheeks to focus on the orders placed on the bulletin board.
I can't slack off because this is our test in another subject.
"Y/n!" I heard a male friend of mine call me from the front that made me peek on the curtains to look at him.
"It's time to switch" he told me as he stood up that made me go back behind the curtain to remove the apron I was using.
I planned to be an accountant that's why on this entire activity we are having, being a cashier is what I love the most.
In other words, I love Intrams week.
I sat down in the chair near the cash register to start taking orders when my hands halted the moment I looked up and saw him in front of me.
It felt like my heart dropped from my chest.
I just snapped out of it when I heard chatters behind the curtain that made me take a deep breath to calm myself down.
I can't hate them for this.
"Good Morning! What would you like to have?"
Those were the first words I uttered to him.
The first time we properly met and face each other.
And the reason why I decided to move up my game.
Because I want to feel the same happiness I felt during that time.
I found myself running to the gym where his match would be held the moment I heard their team was up next.
Until I felt like Yachi dragging me to a much better view when she saw me.
There I saw his skills that made me like him more.
I didn't regret admiring him at all.
There are times I urge Yachi to take videos of him so she can send it to me. Times when I couldn't prevent myself from cheering when he received a ball.
Those are the moments I confirm that this is not some puppy love or infatuation.
I did start liking him more than I thought.
I leaned on the wall behind me to catch my breath after all the screaming I did out there.
It feels like I'm more tired than the players.
I heard Yachi chuckling beside me as she lent me a bottle so I could take a sip from it.
"You really like Nishinoya-san" she uttered that I can't help but laugh.
"Yes" I admitted without any hesitations. Because it was true.
I don't know what I saw on him but I can't explain how my heartbeat skipped the times we walked past each other in the hallway.
His cheerful voice never made me get tired of hearing it.
The Man who I want to be with me.
In my eyes, he is my motivation to keep going.
But for him, I am just one of the many who admire him.
If he is just aware of the way I look at him. That wherever I go, he never left my mind. The way I hold back just so I can have the freedom to like him from a far.
Somewhere within me, wish he felt the same way. That no matter how hard I try to abandon my feelings, it just came back stronger than before.
But I don't deserve the love he is giving. Not even a percent of it.
"But he doesn't like me. He doesn't know me, nor look at me"
The same way I did to him.
"I should have been a manager" I joked but we both knew, I wanted more than this hopelessness of watching him from afar.
"But right now, I'm just his fangirl"
I stood up properly from my position and the girl I am with didn't waste any second and just started dragging me without informing me where we were heading.
But I feel like my world slowed down the moment I saw his figure among the crowd.
He was talking to the other players as Yachi dragged me closer, nearer to him who halted from drinking his water when his eyes laid on me.
Is this a dream?
Do I deserve this kind of chance?
"Nishinoya-san!" Yachi called for him and made me decide to stick my feet on the floor beneath me.
I don't dare go further...
Yachi looked back when she noticed I stopped. I took my hand from her as I hid it behind me so he wouldn't see how much it was trembling.
She didn't even give me a chance to bring anything
"Hello to you ladies!" He beamed and I felt how my cheeks warmed from his voice.
The voice I thought I would just eavesdrop from. I never dream that his words would be directed to me at all.
"What did you thought of the game?" He ask us but I knew he was talking to Yachi after noticing how I seem to preserve myself from them.
They could at least give me a warning so I can prepared myself.
"Miss" I flinched when I heard his voice louder and saw he is now in front of me.
Now my feet are also trembling from nervousness.
"Yes?" The stutter from my voice didn't go unnoticed that made him scratch his head.
"What did you think of the game?"
No matter how much I made it awkward for him, he still managed to lift a beautiful smile from his lips.
"You did great..."
I have a lot of things to say but I don't know where to start.
I bit my lips when I felt his silence as I closed my eyes shut.
"So great that I didn't regret admiring you at all"
And then I felt his eyes on me. I wiped the tears that fell from my eyes.
"Please stop staring at me" I mutter in embarrassment when I notice his gaze seems to stay in my trembling figure longer.
"Wow..." He whispered that made me look up to him and saw the shock he plastered on his expressions.
"You like me?" He ask again that made me took a deep breath before giving a slight nod.
Never have I dreamed that I would confessed, especially in public.
He was silent like it feels like he is trying to process everything before a grin lift from his lips and out of nowhere, I felt him twirl me around.
"You don't know how happy I am right now"
His words made my fear disappear as those thoughts that keep preventing myself from admitting my feelings also diminish from my mind.
The only thing that I thought that my feelings were the reason he is happy.
I made him happy.
And a smile finally lifted from my lips.
How did I get so lucky?
~•°•~
"Excuse me everyone, my girlfriend is coming through" his cocky words made me hit his shoulders before I took a seat on the end to not disturb the team more than I intended.
My boyfriend just love boasting me around. Especially to his best friend, Tanaka. Who is now glaring daggers at him.
I didn't mind them anymore and started preparing the first bento I made for him, which I already inform him yesterday.
But it seems like his antics is still not stopping.
"How lucky I am for my girlfriend to prepare my lunch. I don't deserve this"
I started to wish to melt there right now when he keeps pulling the trigger of his senpai's patience and the jealousy of his friend.
I hit his shoulder harder to shut him up and just start eating which he obliged when he notice how red I was already.
"Oh?" I heard him let a small sigh of confusion on his first bite that made me halt from taking my first bite.
"What is it?" I ask him as I put down my chopsticks and saw how he slowly chewed the food.
"Taste Familiar"
I smiled from his words before I started eating my lunch.
"Why does it taste so familiar?"
"Because she is the one who was giving the food to you after practice" Tsukishima's nonchalant statement made my boyfriend look at me.
"How did I get so lucky?"
Oh how much my chest warmed from his words.
I really did win him over

Yoshiki: (don't look don't look don't look don't look don't look don't look don't look don't look don't look don't look)
Yoshiki: ('Hikaru'...!!)
Student: Huh? Wait, isn't this bad!?
(sfx: slam, thud, whack)
Student: What's that?
Student: Huh!?
Hikaru: Yoshiki
P2
Hikaru: That's a human.
Student: Huh...!? No way...
Student: *shrieks*!!
P3
Student: That intruder from before...I heard he slit his own throat with a hidden knife
(blackboard: Self-study)
Student: They said Yoshinaga-sensei also got cut and sent to the hospital...
(sfx: crowd chatter)
Student: They're gonna end class and send everyone home now, aren't they?
Yoshiki: Asako
Asako: That intruder...
Asako: ...had something get inside him.
P4
Yoshiki: Get inside?
(sfx: chatter)
Asako: Yeah, something scary was, like this, inside... "Possession"?
Asako: It's not like I can see anything, but somehow I can tell that it's a person that something got inside.
Asako: Lately there's been more and more of them... Hikaru, are you okay?
(sfx: chatter)
Hikaru: Me?
Asako: You super-duper absolutely have something inside you...
P5
Hikaru: Huh? Haha, Ha! I'm totally fine~!
Hikaru: Guess I'm ghost resistant! Wonder why!
Asako: Oh, okay...
Asako: Hey...what'll we do if something happens to any of us?
Asako: It's finally come all the way to school...
Asako: Even though I can't do anything about it...
Yoshiki: Asako...
P6
Yoshiki: What should we do....?
Hikaru: *whisper* Asako's also noticed that the impurities have been steadily increasing
Hikaru: Doing something about it is one of the reasons we're researching right now, remember?
Hikaru: If it comes to it, I'll...
(sfx: sharp pain)
Hikaru: ....
Yoshiki: What is it?
Hikaru: Nothing, my elbow is just...
P7
Hikaru: ...bruised.
Hikaru: I banged it against a desk when someone pushed me earlier
(sfx: slam)
Asako: Oh! Are you okay? I'll get you something to put on it.
Hikaru: Oh, uh... thanks.
Hikaru: (Pain...? Even though up until now, I barely felt any...)
P8
-- (at Diner "Amerika")
(sfx: door chime)
(sfx: plates clatter)
(sfx: crowd noise)
(Diner: ...And then, like...)
(Diner: I'd like to order number 8, please!)
(Waitstaff: Welcome!)
Hikaru: You're really studying even at a time like this?
Yoshiki: I'm thinking about what we should say to Grandpa Takeda...at the same time.
(sfx: kick)
Hikaru: ...Hey...You still have my "fragment", right?
P9
(sfx: crowd noise)
(sfx: plate clatter)
(Waitstaff: Here you go!)
Yoshiki: I have it
Yoshiki: I'm keeping it on me at all times
(sfx: crowd noise)
Hikaru: Definitely don't lose it.
(sfx: plate clatter)
(sfx: door chime)
Hikaru: If it broke, I probably wouldn't be okay either
Yoshiki: Huh!? It's that important!?
Hikaru: Obviously...It's proof of my resolve. Though if you put it back into my body, it might go back to normal...
P10
(sfx: plates clatter)
Hikaru: But well, there isn't anything like a way to destroy that anywhere at all
Yoshiki: (I'll put it somewhere it'll be harder to lose...)
Yoshiki: *sigh*
Yoshiki: ...

Hello, so it's Haikyuu ask game....
(I'm excited, because since the movie released, I've found many Haikyuu fans again )
a.) Who are your top 5 favorite Haikyuu characters?
b.) What are your top 5 favorite Haikyuu moments?
c.) Who are your top 3 favorite Haikyuu ships? Why love them?
Thanks if you want to answer....
Hi! AHHHHHHH I HAVE SO MANY HAIKYUU ASKS SITTING IN MY INBOX, I just- I get very emo while thinking about Haikyuu, so sorry to everyone who has asked me about Haikyuu till now...
Okay, not gonna lie but I LOVE EVERYONE SINGLE HAIKYUU CHARACTER, CAN I NOT SAY EVERYONE IS MY FAVORITE????😭😭😭 but if I had to choose top 5 with a gun to my head because that's the only scenario where I would think of choosing:
(1) Hinata Shouyo (is anyone even surprised anymore): Baby boy, sunshine incarnate, my most handworking baby, I need to meet him and tell him personally how proud I am of him.
(2) Tsukishima Kei: his character development and his growth is the greatest thing to witness and he genuinely so sarcastic and mean I love it.
(3) Kita-san: You ever encounter a character that changes the way you view the world, because that's what Kita Shinsuke did to mine. The words he says just, it just hits hard and it hits home.
(4) Oikawa Tooru: See I am not immune to incredibly annoying but endearing characters. And he nails that category with flying colors.
(5) Kenma Kozume: Oh he is someone I did not think I would like, let alone be on top 5 but Kenma really just full of surprises, especially post-timeskip Kenma, I fucking love that Kenma he genuinely one of the best, I wish him the best in life!
Sorry to Nishinoya, Tanaka, Tendo, Bokuto, Kuroo, Yachi, Kageyama, HoshiumI, Takeda sensei and many more I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH 😭😭😭🫂🫂🫂
Uhhhhhh my top 5 moments might contain some spoilers so guys please if you haven't read Haikyuu, PLEASE DON'T LOOK I BEG YOU(trust me it's better if you read it on your own or wait for the next movie installment):
(1) When you lost but you are still smiling because you finally FINALLY found your equal ah <3
(2) The little Giant vs The World's Greatest Decoy...Actually I applaud Furudate-sensei for even thinking of them like this because people were going on about Hinata would be jealous of Hoshiumi and how there would be a type of resentment between the two because they both might want the little giant title but Furudate said no and gave the greatest story about upliftment, finding your own self-identity and paving your own paths (writing this thru my tears btw I realise now why I don't talk about Haikyuu that much I just start crying lmfao)
(3) “it’s just a club” - this scene making top 5 because one, it’s literally PEAK FICTION and story telling and two, I saw my little sister ugly cried to this scene…shoutout to my little sister
(4) I am not even gonna say anything except the fact I was paralyzed in utter shock during this scene. Also this scene followed by Takeda sensei...I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW IT CHANGED THE TRAJECTORY OF MY LIFELINE.
(5) The entirety of Brazil arc...Gun to my head I can't not choose one moment out of it because every panel, every interaction and everything about this arc is phenomenal
Also quickly my top 3 ships from hq would be: Kagehina (not immune to the soulmates agenda), Iwaoi (not immune to the annoying x annoyed but still loves agenda) and Tsukiyama (only yamaguchi can love this guy ngl)

hiiii addie mayhaps give me your thoughts and feelings about takeda? since we were talking about him earlier
hiiiii kennedy i love u sm <333
i also love takeda so much!! i think he's super underrated and he's not given enough attention!! but he drops some of the HARDEST lines and metaphors in haikyuu!! He's the Catalyst that allows karasuno to grow as much as it does!! Nekomata tells him in the beginning "passion inspires passion" thats his strength and it Kills me
he loves his team so fiercely, he cares so much about them, and he's so so so proud of them *sniffs* and he wants them to be proud of their accomplishments too. I think he's normal about it, but that team? theyre *his* kids. maybe he picked up being the volleyball club advisor on a whim, but its changed him forever, and he will give EVERYTHING to help them succeed
his determination and drive is so understated and so underappreciated so THANK you, for giving me a soap box to stand on so i can yell from the rooftops (where my soapbox is) that I LOVE TAKEDA SENSEI!!!!

~Back In The Game~
~Chapter Twenty-Seven~
-Series Masterlist-
What happens when a girl who loves volleyball joins a boys' volleyball club? Does she find love? Will she relive her past or move forward? Join (L/N) (Y/N) on a journey with fun twists and turns.
I don't own Haikyuu or any of the characters.
-Last Time-
“AAAA” Asahi yells, frightened.
“GAAAH!!” Tanka yells worriedly.
“HINATA!!!” You scream, quickly running over to him.
You get to Hinata first, with the others arriving right after.
“Hinata! Are you okay?” You ask worriedly.
“...! OWWWW…” He replies.
“Aha! He lives!” Noya says.
“You okay, bro?” Tanaka asks.
“OHMYGOD. OHMYGOD. OHMYGOD. Are you okay I’m sorry I’m sorry!!!” Asahi panics.
“It’s his own stupid fault for zoning out like an idiot.” Tsukishima says nonchalantly.
“Tsukishima! Quit!” You scold, earning a “tch” and an eye roll.
“A-Ambulance! C-Call an Ambulance!!” Takeda freaks out.
“Calm down, sensei.” Ukai says.
Hinata begins to sit up, so you help him by telling him to move slowly.
“Oh, uh, it’s okay. I’m fine. Sorry to make you all worry.” Hinata says, rubbing his head.
“You sure? Maybe you should sit out a rally or two…” Daichi says.
“No! I’m fine! I promise!” Hinata says quickly. “I just…didn’t dodge all the way in time. Besides, I’m used to getting hit in the face!” ‘You shouldn’t be though…’ You think sweat dropping. “I’m very sorry!”
“Don’t be.” Suga smiles. Before you can say anything you feel a very familiar dark aura. You and Hinata look at the source, Kageyama. He’s pretty pissed off.
“What’d you think you were doing? Zoning out in the middle of a rally…” Kageyama asks.
“Um! Uh! I, ah!” Hinata tries to respond but he’s too scared.
‘The fact that Kageyama isn’t yelling is not a good thing…’ You think and know that Hinata is thinking the same thing.
“I know what you were thinking.”
“?!”
“You were thinking about how cool the Ace is but that all you’re good at is being a decoy, which is stupid and boring. You were wishing you were as tall and strong as Asahi so you could be an Ace too.”
“Enough Kageyama…” You say but are ignored.
“I…I was not!” Hinata defends but only earns a glare from Kageyama. “O-Okay…so, uh…maybe a little.”
“Once you realized our team had an Ace…aside from all the idolization or whatever…you got jealous.” Kageyama begins. “Quit letting your brain wander off onto stupid crap during a game.”
“...So I got a little jealous. So what?”
“Hinata…” You say softly.
“YOU’RE BIG AND TALL AND SKILLED ALREADY! YOU COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND WHAT IT’S LIKE FOR ME!!”
“Guys. Stop!”
Suddenly the gym doors open. An older man is standing in the doorway.
“Hey! What are you all still doing here? It’s time to close up!” He says. “Hurry and clean up.”
“Excuse me!” Takeda begins. “Could we please at least finish this game first?”
“But it’s awfully late…”
“I’ll take responsibility and supervise everyone!”
“Well…”
“Once we’ve finished, I will do all the final checks and make sure everything is properly locked up.”
You look at Hinata and see he’s sad and embarrassed. You go over to him.
“...Hey…Hinata…” You softly say. He looks at you. “Are you okay?” HE puts on a fake smile.
“Yup! All good!”
“You don’t have to fake it with me.” He looks slightly shocked and drops his “smile.”
“It’s my fault for delaying the game…”
“You can’t blame yourself. You got hit in the head with a volleyball. At least you wanted to continue playing. Others would’ve taken Daichi’s offer of sitting out.”
“But then I had to go and yell at Kageyama for it.”
“What Kageyama did and said was completely uncalled for. You were upset and defending yourself. It was admirable.” This causes Hinata to blush.
“Thanks, (Y/N).”
“You’re welcome. Now…Are you hurting anywhere? Do you have a headache? Dizzy? Nauseous?”
“N-No. I’m okay. I promise.”
“Good.” You lightly punch his shoulder. “Don’t make me worry like that!”
“! I-I’m sorry! I-I didn’t -” Hinata can’t finish his statement because you suddenly hugged him.
“But I’m glad you’re okay.” You say hugging him tighter. This causes Hinata to turn bright red. You stop hugging him just as Takeda closes the gym door.
“Sorry, Sensei. Thanks for that.” Daichi says and Takeda turns around and gives him a thumbs up. “Okay, everyone! Let’s get back to playing!”
The game is about to resume but Kageyama gets Asahi and Takinoue’s attention.
“This rally.. I’m going to set the ball for him.” He says pointing to Hinata. “Please try as hard as you can to block him.” Hinata, Takinoue, and Asahi look at him confusedly. ‘What are you playing at Kageyama?’ You wonder.
“Hey, Hey! You trying to taunt us now?” Takinoue asks, annoyed.
“Yes, sir!” It’s a blatant taunt! I’m sorry for being disrespectful!!” Kageyama replies bowing. This shocks both you and Takinoue.
“Ha! Well aren’t you a gutsy kid! I like that! Okay, Then! We’ll take you up on that!” Takinoue replies.
“Thank you, sir!” Kageyama says before staring at Asahi intently and then walking away.
“What the heck is that rookie thinking? A quick set is effective precisely because you can’t predict it. Telling the other guys it’s coming means he’s gonna run smack into a triple block. And if that happens short stuff doesn’t stand a chance.” Ukai comments.
“...True…” Takeda begins. “If he runs headlong into a block…that may be the case, yes.” He finishes as Ukai looks at him questioningly.
‘Augh! Stupid Kageyama. What’s he doing telling the other team what we’re going to do next? There’s no way I can punch the ball through blockers that tough. He knows that!’ Hinata thinks nervously before looking at Kageyama, whose back is turned, frustrated.
“Hinata. The way you are right now…you suck. You’re a scrub who’s fast and kinda knows how to jump. That’s it.” Kageyama says darkly.
“...?”
“The Ace is a player who can put the entire team on his back and carry it.” Kageyama continues. “That’s someone you’ll never be.”
“!!” Hinata looks like he’s going to cry.
“Hey, um. Don’t you think…” Asahi begins,
“Yo, man!” Tanaka says.
“BUT!” Kageyama continues again, interrupting Asahi and Tanaka. “As long as you’re with me, you’re the greatest!!” Hinata looks at the setter in shock. “Yeah, Asahi-san’s spikes are super powerful! And yeah, he can go straight through even a triple block!”
“Huh?! Um! N-Not all the time…No, but…” Asahi stutters at KAgeyama’s words.
“Stop acting so modest!” Noya scolds the Ace.
“So what about you? All the times I’ve put the ball up for you… have you ever run into a block? Ever?” Kageyama asks, earning another look of shock from the middle blocker.
The whistle is blown and Shimada serves the ball. Ennoshita receives it as Hinata looks at the other team's blockers and begins getting intimidated.
“Dodge!!” Kageyama yells, pulling Hinata from his thoughts. “It’s not like there’s anything else you can do…you scrub!!”
Hinata runs to the left side of the court with the opponent's blockers following him. He bends his legs and swings his arms back getting ready to jump. ‘That’s right. If we can’t go through…’ Hinata thinks.
“We go around.” He says before jumping back and running to the right side of the court. This surprises Asahi, Takinoue, and Ukai.
‘I hate getting blocked! I hate getting stopped!!’ Hinata thinks as he jumps into the air. ‘If even one blocker gets up in front of me…there’s no way I can beat it the way I am now. I can’t play like the Ace plays. But…! “As long as you’re with me…you’re the greatest!”’ Hinata spikes the ball, surprising everyone, and earns his team a point.
“Yeah, you’re no Ace! But with your speed…your jumps…and my setting…we can take on any blockers out there!” Kageyama declares. “The point the Ace scores by busting through a block…and the point you score by going around them…It’s still a point! Even if you don’t have the fancy “Ace” label you rack up points in games! They pay attention to you, and follow you…and that frees up our other hitters! Including the Ace!! Right?!” Kageyama finishes and whirls his head toward Tanaka.
“Dwah?! Y-Yeah!” The second year begins. “He’s got a good point, Bro! There’s a huge difference in how well our offense works…depending on whether or not you’ve got your decoy game up and running.”
“Despite all that…do you still hate the part you play on this team?! Do you still think it’s boring and uncool?!” Hinata doesn’t answer. He stands still thinking until he looks at his stinging hand.
“...I don’t…”
“What?”
“I don’t think that!”
“Good!!”
Nishinoya is gaping at the two as Suga chuckles. Hinata looks at Asahi.
“That was a really amazing spike you did.” Asahi compliments the first year.
“!! Thank you!!” Hinata says with a blush.
“Hey, Kageyama…” You say catching his attention. He turns to look at you. “That was sweet. What you did for Hinata.” His eyes widen and a blush creeps to his cheeks. He doesn’t know how to respond. “But…maybe next time…be a bit nicer.” You say tilting your head to the side with a closed-eyed smile that’s a mix of sweet and threatening. Kageyama‘s blush increases so he looks away.
“W-Whatever…” He says.
“Awesome! Now I think you know what to do.” You say as the setter goes to Daichi.
“I’m very sorry for interrupting the game again!!” He apologizes as he bows.
“Um! N-No, it’s okay.” Daichi replies.
“We’re all finished now, so…” Kageyama begins as he stands next to Hinata.
“We’re ready to play!!” The two exclaim together.

McBethins!!! Long time fan! Are you going to write more subscorp omegaverse, I loved your last one with Johnny 👁️👄👁️
Also, can you tell us some of your subscorp headcanons?
Omg hello anon! Thank you! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! 🥰
Am I writing more subscorp omegaverse you say...
HOW ABOUT A SNEAK PEAK! (Warnings for a/b/o, Canon typical violence, PTSD, cursing)
Sub-Zero was talking to him, begging him for mercy, but his words hung suspended somewhere outside Hanzo's awareness. Outside the drastic shift in the cryomancer's scent that had taken over Hanzo's thoughts.
As they fought, the horrific scent of blood and rage had melted away; crisp, winter air returning to prominence.
But now that too had shifted and through his mask Hanzo smelled something impossibly sweet emanating from the wide eyed man impaled on his blade.
"I'm not a m-monster, Hanzo," Sub-Zero insisted, straining.
Hanzo snarled, "What trickery is this?"
Sub-Zero's brows pinched in confusion, "What?"
"These pheromones," Hanzo growled. "They can't be yours, they belong to an omega."
This was impossible; Lin Kuei consisted solely of alphas. His father had told him they executed anyone who presented incorrectly.
Terror flashed in Sub-Zero's eyes and now the acrid stench of panic was filling the space between them. "N-no," he stammered. "Not now-" he cut off with a violent shiver.
No please gods just let me die-
Shocked, Hanzo recalled his blade, blood oozing from pale skin.
Sub-Zero deserved death…but he was…
Sub-Zero was dry heaving, body unable to curl up with the demons keeping him upright.
"Please," he gasped, "Hanzo just kill me. It's what you want isn't it? Just-" he groaned, agony slicing through the air.
Hanzo stood, frozen to the spot not by Sub-Zero's ice but by the desperate terror in his eyes.
"Have your revenge," Sub-Zero spat. "Send me to my brother."
But you are not your brother are you?
Hanzo cursed the thought as soon as it formed.
Fuck.
Sub-Zero fell to his knees as the demons retreated into the depths of the earth. Hanzo watched him, body trembling, attempt to form something with ice that wouldn't crystallize.
"N-nooo," he moaned, slumping down onto his side. "I must commit hara-kiri…" he curled in on himself, the image of absolute misery.
His words asked Hanzo for death, but his distressed pheromones were calling out to Hanzo for help.
Hanzo snarled in frustration. He should either end Sub-Zero, finally eradicating the Lin Kuei from the Earth, or walk away. He had the kamidogu to deliver and Takeda to protect.
"Sensei…" Hanzo kept his eyes trained on Sub-Zero as Takeda approached him. "You told Raiden we would bring Sub-Zero back."
"Alive or dead," Hanzo all but spat.
"You're…" Takeda's eyes burned into him, "You would leave an injured, innocent man-"
"He is not innocent!" Hanzo seethed, fists curling. "His clan-"
"His clan, his brother," Takeda interrupted, "They're the ones who took your family."
"Why are you defending a Lin Kuei?" Hanzo muttered, finally meeting Takeda's narrowed eyes.
"I'm defending you from yourself," the boy said quietly. "From Scorpion."
Hanzo inhaled sharply, furious, and guilty, and-
"Nooooo-" Hanzo looked back at Sub-Zero, curled up in a pool of his own blood. He tried to move only to crumble, a high pitched whine piercing Hanzo's rationale.
He found himself kneeling beside his enemy wondering why couldn't he have been some bastard alpha?
Sub-Zero reached a shaking hand out blindly, "A-alpha…"
Hanzo wanted to scream, his heart thundering. "We will bring him to the Sky Temple," he decided, placing a blazing hand over Sub-Zero's chest, cauterizing the wound he'd inflicted.
Sub-Zero shouted, eyes impossibly wide and then he collapsed. Hanzo shifted him into his arms, standing with a grunt.
He couldn't just…an omega in heat. Would Raiden in his godly idiocy even know how to help? Would there be an alpha willing…
He made the mistake of looking at Sub-Zero's pale face, the tear tracks on his cheeks.
"Takeda," he sighed. "We need to go home."
As for Subscorp headcanons...
1. Kuai likes head pats/scritches/massages etc. And Hanzo is happy to oblige.
2. Not really subscorp, but i really like this one so merry Kuaimas. Being cyberized gave Kuai the dubious gift of total recall. Man remembers everything. He also has a leftover inherent understanding of machinery which he understandably doesn't like to utilize.
3. One of Hanzo's goals in life is to help Kuai Liang put away his frigid, stoic persona. He doesn't have to protect his emotions so intensely anymore. Especially not with Hanzo.
3. Kuai Liang loves Hanzo's hair and enjoys playing with it on the rare occasion Hanzo wears it down. Or the less rare occasion when they're in bed together.
4. They both like kids! We already knew that for Dadzo. But based on Kuai's interactions with the kombat kids in MKX I think he does too.
Thanks for the ask! If anyone decides to incorporate these hcs into their own work I would appreciate being credited 😊 and or share what you make with me, I wanna see! ☺️

For the WIP Game! (I went and updated the original post so it has links to all the answers, if folks want to check those out. Sometimes my brain good!)
@you-remind-me-of-the-babe asked me about the WIP called Will suck dick for books! 😆😆 I did not anticipate that folks would ask about works in fandoms they are not familiar with but I am LIVING FOR IT~~
I'm also going to go ahead and tag @fatalfangirl here because (methinks??) you have partaken of the Haikyuu. Going to also tag @thewesterndoor because YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID lolol jkjk who got me into Haikyuu and whose Take/Ukai fics I ADORE.
Fandom background: Haikyuu!! is an earnest and hilarious volleyball anime where everyone is gay and chaotic and loveable. It's SO SO GOOD and like all sports anime, it is not necessarily just about sport but about FEELINGS~
Pairing background: Takeda Ittetsu/Ukai Keishin
Takeda (Take-chan): looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you, English teacher, glasses nerd, his superpower is bowing at like 1000 km/h, head coach but he knows nothing about volleyball at the beginning of the series (he just stepped in to fill a void b/c he a good human), cries easily, tries to use poetry to motivate high school athletes, terrifyingly good at holding his liquor, in my headcanon he's a beast in the sack
Ukai: looks like he could kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll, Reformed Gangster Vibes, in his late 20s but his energy is always Kids Get Off My Lawn, lightweight, easily manipulated by cute English teacher into coaching a high school volleyball team even though he has full time jobs running a convenience store and helping out w/ the family farm because (in this fic) he's Weak for Dat Ass
The fic: a canon-adjacent and canon-compliant take on (some of) the events in the series, but focused on the relationship between Takeda/Ukai, these baby adults who have somehow accidentally co-adopted 14 chaotic teens.
There's fake dating, nerding out about books, soft boyfriends being super soft and domestic, dating/married even if they don't realize it, and a backstory involving writing your phone number in the back of a book, lending it to a hot stranger, and somehow running into them seven years later.
U want a snippet? here's a snippet. I has lots of snippets. (This bad boy is sitting at like 75% in my drafts folder):
"Look, are you going to buy something or not?"
"Are you going to coach the boys' volleyball team?"
"No. You should try a meat bun, they're pretty good."
The Nice New Teacher buys a pizzaman, which is kind of adorable. "I'll come back," he says, but it's hard for him to sound threatening around a mouthful of steamed bun.
And another, a little later on:
Keishin's gotten used to being accosted by the Nice New Teacher every few days, so he's a little weirded out by a sudden radio silence. In that time, he reviews the store inventory, decides to implement a new organization system for the frozen foods, and even washes the windows. It's a slow couple of days, okay?
He literally just finishes throwing GunGun bars at a couple of punks from the volleyball team - the one with the shaved head catches the protein bar in his teeth, what the hell is Take-chan teaching them - when the store phone starts ringing.
"Lo, Sakanoshita Market."
"Ukai-kun!" Take-chan exclaims. He sounds breathless and excited, as if he's been eager to talk to Keishin all day, which is kinda adorable and - weird, Keishin corrects himself, weird, and not adorable, and definitely not a little bit charming.
"You again," Keishin sighs, as if he's got about fifty million other things that he could be doing with his time, instead of re-reading One Piece.
And then later, after Keishin's ass is well and truly Trapped:
"Er, thanks," Takeda says, flushing. "I, ah, as you can see, I… I have a lot of books."
"Do I need to stage an intervention, Sensei?"
Takeda scratches the back of his head. "My mother was a librarian," he says, laughing a little. "So I come by it honestly."
Keishin finds himself squinting at a silver flask resting between a bunch of cookbooks. There's writing on it in English, in fancy Gothic lettering, and he manages to just make out Will suck d- before Takeda suddenly materializes there, his smile very bright.
"Hope you don't mind red pepper, there's a lot of it in the yakisoba!" Takeda says, his voice a bit higher than usual. "We should eat!"
THANK YOU for letting me blather about this fic in a fandom other than Carry On, LOLOLOL!!! It's so fun to come back to this and definitely makes me excited to FINALLY FINISH AT SOME POINT THIS YEAR RAWR~

Don’t Call Me That
request: fluffy, jealous crush Tsukki, as manager
Kei set up the net, caught in a conversation he wished he hadn’t started. Hinata was going on and on and on about a new technique he was dying to try, while Yamaguchi thankfully indulged him and asked questions, leaving Kei the opportunity to throw glances at the entrance of the gym.
Originally, he had meant to wait close to the door, just in case you needed help carrying something. He wouldn’t have offered his help readily, of course, but you were usually quick to ask one of the team members to jump in when things got too difficult to balance.
To be honest, he didn’t even know why he bothered. Sure, your smile made him think of a sunrise over a field of wildflowers in late summer - but god, you were annoying. Always bright, always prepared to build up the team with an inspirational speech that rivaled Takeda sensei, always eager to support wherever you could, as if this wasn’t just a stupid club.
The other first years started following you around like puppies after their initial introduction, while Nishinoya and Tanaka were extra protective of their fellow second year. You finally arrived, closely followed by Ennoshita and Narita. For quite some time now, Kei had tried to figure out if Narita was maybe more than a friend to you, but you were probably just being nice, right? He was too bland for you. But an image began building in his mind of the other middle blocker pulling you into an empty classroom, one hand on your plump hip, the other cupping your chubby cheek, leaning down to-
“Tsukki, are you there? You gotta pull the string to-“
“Don‘t call me that!“, Kei snapped at the idiot tangerine, but did as he was told, “How many times do I have to tell you I hate that nickname!“
“Geez, fine, calm down - Suckyshima.“, Hinata mumbled and ran away screaming a second later when Kei threw him a murderous glare.
A moment later the team was called to assemble for a pre-practice pep talk from the coach and Kei was actually much more interested in the way you played with your necklace than paying any attention. For a split second he wondered if it might have been a gift from a boyfriend, Narita or otherwise and his already sour mood turned even darker.
“So, that‘s our goal for today. Tsukishima and Hinata, are you ready to try this block?“, the coach asked and Kei did a double take upon being spoken to directly. Even though he had no idea what had been discussed, he nodded and turned to get started on the warm up when you said, “Good luck, Shoyo-kun! You too, Tsukki-kun!“
Kei froze for a second, then continued walking, feeling his legs beginning to wobble slightly.
“Hey, she called you “Tsukki”, Tsukki.“, Hinata said, catching up to him and bouncing along.
“Sharp as ever.“, Kei muttered.
“Why isn‘t she getting yelled at? You said you were going to make sure my bloodline ends with me if I called you “Tsukki“ again! Why isn‘t she getting threatened!? Hm? Tsukkiiii~“
a/n: Tsukki going for a girl older than him - scandalous! Thank you so much for the request 🌟 I hope you enjoyed it!

i'm a little bit nervous to do this but your stories have me curious so here i am
i'm rey (she/they), ace/panromantic, 16 y/o, fav colour is green, intp. i don't really care about physical features, if i like them, i like them. aries here<33 this is a req for haikyuu, please ! for ideal type, i'm not very sure but some caring, kind and gives good hugs. i'm quite the socially awkward person so someone i feel comfortable around with as well? traits i hate: cocky, proud people and overly humble people as well. be aware of your talents and achievements but please don't be full of it. and i would like the relationship to be romantic please !
thank you so much for doing this, i appreciate your stories so much and i hope you're having a good day !
A/N: Thank you so much for your kind words, they made me really happy:) Here is your match up, a bit delayed, but I hope you still like this piece.
TW: minor injury and blood
Why?:
she seems to be cold at first, but in reality she is super sweet and caring once you get to know her
Kiyoko is a caring person and she will do everything so you feel fine
she understands you on a different level and enjoys your company
Your special story:
With the last of the school bell, everyone cheered and greeted the end of the day with a smile. But you didn't. Volleyball practice or managing the practice was still something you had on your never-ending to-do list. The only thing that would enlighten the situation was your girlfriend, Kiyoko. She waited outside of the classroom to accompany you to the gym.
"How was your day?" she asked as you hugged her exhaustedly. "We got our homework back, and I failed." Kiyoko kissed your head. "That was only one homework. I am sure you can compensate for it in the next test. You are smart. I am sure you will succeed." she tried cheering you up, and it worked to some extent. "Yeah, you're right. We should get going, or the boy will flame us for being late." "Don't worry, Kageyama and Hinata are probably late as always." she chuckled, and you needed to agree these two idiots were always late.
The gym smelled like old trainers, even though the facility manager cleaned it every weekend. To your surprise, the team was already playing. "Kiyoko and Y/n, glad that you finally made it. We need more water." said sensei Takeda. Without complaining, you took the empty bottles and filled them up with fresh water. With attentive eyes, you continued to watch the game. What you didn't observe was that Tanaka's ball soared straight at you. "Watch out," screamed Kiyoko, but it was too late, and with a loud smack, the ball landed straight in your face. The whole gym went quiet immediately. Tanaka was the first one who feel out of his trance. "Y/n oh my god, I am so sorry I didn't know that I hit it with so much force." "Quit your apologising. It happened. We need to get them some ice." said Kiyoko.
You weren't even able to speak up. Your eyes were teary, and your nose began to bleed. "It's alright. I should have paid attention." you waved it off. Kiyoko shook her head but didn't say anything as she wrapped the pack of ice in a cloth. "Does your head hurt?" she asked. "No, it's alright. Please continue. I am fine." Reluctantly the boys continued to play, and Kiyoko helped you to sit down. "Are you sure you are fine?" You simply nodded at her question. The both of you quietly continued to watch the training session. YOu laid your head on her shoulder and closed your eyes. "Thank you for being so caring." You smiled and drifted off to sleep.
Your special surprise: A moodboard <3

Turning Heads (a Haikyuu fanfic by hoperenae)

PART 16- One of Us Had to Lose
The bus ride back home was quiet, too. Even coach Ukai and Takeda-sensei didn’t have anything to say. When we got back, Ukai took us all to a local shop and bought us dinner. We sat there staring at our food, still unable to fully comprehend what was going on.
“Your muscles are at their limits, so you’ve got to repair them by eating,” Ukai said as he sat down. “That’s how you build muscle and become stronger. So eat. Eat a proper meal.”
Slowly, we picked up our utensils and said our thank yous to the lady who made the food. Then, we ate. After the first bite, I knew Ukai was right. My body needed to refuel in order to heal. We all shoveled food into our mouths.
Next to me, I saw tears fall from Hinata’s face onto the table. Looking down, I realized my own tears were dripping onto my food. A quick glance around told me it was the same for everyone. Even Tsukki looked more emotional than usual. I glanced across the table at Nishinoya who was frantically shoving a rice ball into his mouth, his tears mixing in with the food.
At the end of the table, Ukai and Takeda-sensei were smiling sadly at all of us. I made eye contact with Ukai, and he nodded, which only made my tears fall heavier.
This sucked. There was no other way to put it. It was hard to see the other side when you felt so defeated. At this point, I wasn’t even sure if there was another side.
Eventually, we finished eating and went back to the school. Ukai said we would have our meeting at practice the next day, so we all just went home. Daichi and I walked along in silence. When we were approaching our house, I stopped dead in my tracks.
Oikawa was leaning in front of our front gate, hands in his jacket pockets. He was wearing glasses. I loved those glasses on him. My skin burned red hot with humiliation and frustration. I wanted him to go away. I couldn’t look him in the eye after today. Not yet, anyway. But just as I thought this, I felt my brother’s hand on my shoulder.
“Go,” he said, motioning toward Oikawa. “Talk to him.” I furrowed my brow but he nudged me forward.
As we got closer, Oikawa finally noticed us. He straightened up and took his hands out of his pockets. Daichi merely nodded at him and went inside the house, giving me one last encouraging look.
“Well,” I said, folding my arms across my chest. “What is it?”
“Arya, I just,” he stammered. “I wanted to say you were amazing today. And I’m—”
“Don’t,” I inserted. “Don’t apologize for winning.”
“I wasn’t going to,” he fired back, forehead creased. “I was going to say, I’m sorry you lost.” He glanced down at his feet, suddenly seeming smaller. “I’m sorry that one of us had to lose.”
I was frozen. I didn’t know what to say. Then I felt the wet warmth of tears running down my cheeks. I wiped my nose with my jacket sleeve and stared at the ground. Oikawa put a hand on my shoulder, and it was all over. I collapsed into his arms and sobbed. He held me there for a bit with his head buried in my hair, whispering soft and encouraging words and placing kisses on the top of my head.
“I—I thought we could do it,” I sniffed, rubbing my eyes and stepping out of his embrace. “I actually thought we could beat you guys. I wanted it so badly. Why did we lose?”
He gently grabbed my chin and brought my face up to meet his, my eyes finally locking with his for the first time since I told him off.
“Sometimes it takes a heavy loss to make you stronger,” he said. I let that sit with me for a moment. Now that I had let all my emotions out, I was able to process what he was saying.
“You’ll come back from this,” he continued. “And when you do, I can’t wait to meet you on the court again.” He grinned down at me, and I was surprised to find myself smiling back. He pulled me in for another hug.
“Thanks,” I whispered into his chest. He squeezed me tighter.
“I better get going,” he said. “Iwa-chan and I are gonna watch the match and go over our game plan for this week’s practices.”
“Do you guys ever take a break?“ I chuckled lightly, sniffling.
“See ya!” he exclaimed with a wave as he turned to walk away.
“Toruu!” I called out after him. He turned over his shoulder to face me. I grinned. “Don’t go thinking you’re invincible now just because you beat us this one time. We will defeat you.”
He shot me his famous cunning grin.
“Looking forward to the challenge, lefty!” he replied, echoing my words from so long ago.

As someone who didn’t grow up on Pokémon, I would appreciate hearing the in depth (or just basic - depending on your energy levels no pressure, I don’t wanna be demanding!) reasoning behind your selection of Pokémon for our Sunshine Boi Hinata!
I am a total Pokémon novice, I’ve barely played some Pokémon Sword 😅 but the idea was so cute I got hyped!
Hinata being on your mind sounds like…I mean he’s healthy! I think at least! And to be honest, adult Hinata really…wow. I really respect how far he’s come since being a desperate high schooler passionately dispersing his energy in any direction he could, to someone much more focused (thank you Takeda-sensei you beautiful man).
Anywho…lemme shift back to you
I’m glad you liked the idea! I didn’t wanna impose on your or anything! Just the domestic imagery of being surrounded by superpowered pets was cute 💚
…I mean…if you did make it a series…I wouldn’t be opposed 👀…👀…👀
And if you made it one and done, or just left it as vibes then I’ll be grateful for what I got 💚
I wanna see Bokuto napping on a Snorlax. Wait he’s no the nappy one…Kenma? 😂 hahaha! I feel like Kageyama would be torn between interest in Hinata’s Pokémon thing and just being like: don’t get distracted dumbass. While you’re over there frolicking I’m gonna be moving up ahead.
…would Atsumu be like the person to figure out that Hinata’s pining? Or maybe Bokkun? I’m gonna stop myself from running away with your idea. I adore it.
Also thanks for replying I’m happy 💚💚💚
Hello you had an absolutely adorable Hinata Pokémon idea where he has a crush on the his bestie the champion of the region and what kind of Pokémon do you think he’d vibe with?
I don’t have enough Pokémon knowledge to weigh in, but the whole concept is so cute
Like imagine him visiting and talking about his interest and they’re just playing with Pokémon and feeding them berries and petting them and snuggling with them. Maybe a pidgey comes and sits on Hinata’s head and makes a home there, so his hair is a literal bird’s nest
Your idea is super cute. It’s so wholesome and perfectly Hinata.
I can see Bokuto getting excited about the new hobby, Atsumu too.
Thank you so much for the message! I'm so happy that you think my Pokemon idea is cute! 💜
A while back, I made Pokemon teams for a few Haikyuu!! Characters and Hinata was the first one I made one for~ (One thing you need to know about me is when it comes to Haikyuu!!, is that Hinata is always on my mind~)
Here's the team I made for him~
(If you have any questions about these guys, I'll gladly talk about it~)
Wait! That scenario is absolutely adorable!!!! 💜💜💜 It's super early in the morning, so I'm trying hard not to squeal so loud to bug my neighbors lol
I can definitely see Bokuto and Atsumu being curious on why Hinata is focused on something that isn't volleyball and go to see what the big fuss is about and end up wanting to try to be Pokemon trainers too~
Wait... What if I did a series of Pokemon x Haikyuu fics of the Haikyuu characters still being volleyball players but they meet various Pokemon Trainer! Readers and they get curious about Pokemon training because of them~?
