WELCOME BACK!

this evening i was struck with the avoiding writing bug. so i took the opportunity to reread two fics that have been stuck on my mind for a bit... and decided that a month and a half is long enough of a wait to-

Both of your fics were fucking phenomenal. Both of you appealed to me specifically with moments of insecurity, fear, and anxiety. Both of you featured Jay which is like step one to winning my heart.

It was genuinely difficult to choose between the two, however, i want you both to know that these fics are going to be ones I never forget. they were sweet, well-written, and drew me in. Ngl if either of you have any other ninjago writing i'm unaware of you should tell me <3

I've learned my lesson. I have no idea when I will finish these, but luckily with winter break coming up I should make headway! Do not ask about what will happen when i do my study abroad that is between me and the First Master

the one thing that made my overnight emergency room visit this year remotely bearable was the totally amazing nurse I had.

And I am not really a small talk person most of the time.

But he made me feel like he cared, made me laugh, made my partner laugh, respected both of us, and did what he could to help me with the pretty awful pain.

He took me seriously when I needed it, and made the best of a miserable experience.

One of the stranger things about training brand new nurses is explaining how to min max small talk. It feels very weird to coach people on how to chat.

To be even 0.1% striking a similar chord is an aspiration of mine.#I also want to honour the effort I put into this parody book cover. Which was a *lot* more than one would think.#Covers were analyzed. I did research and took notes. I learned how to download fonts. 4 different programs were used.#This file is also poster sized (A4 dimensions)! I thought It would make the joke funnier for some reason.#Chuck Tingle's style is very iconic and fun to replicate. Despite the time intensive labour - I had a blast making this!#I admit to skimming most of the chapter this is based off of just to fact check a few details but boy did I learn things.#Wei Wuxian canonically has CAKE. Tiny waist and a fat ass.#I took several more notes but I will warn you now that I can't *not* find smut writing to be very funny.#This was pure chaos. Unbridled chaos. WWX really did shove a sword up his ass to bully dream-LWJ.#The need to be a little shit trumps saftey I guess.#There is a 99.9% chance I will not cover the extras so this is likely all the fans of those chapters will get from PD-MDZS.
