i didn't plan to come back to tumblr for another week or so but here i am

and i need your help

i am being kicked out of my apartment at the start of September and because of undiagnosed serious depression I'm not able to continue on to the second year of uni

the plan is to move in with my partner on 25th August and work while she continues their degree. however to do that we need money for a deposit. money we do not have

it is very likely I'll be unable to get a job until after moving in and my partner isn't having any luck getting even an interview.

so that's where you come in

Hey lovelies, I hate to have to ask, but I need help. I cancelled a service before I would be charged my yearly membership fee, but the charge went through anyway and was then refunded in full. However, my bank charged me a large overdraft fee, which wiped out all of the remaining food money I had for the month. I'm now at a negative balance of $62.03.

Until I can get to the bank to resolve this, I can't afford to buy food or get to work. This month has been tough, and I won't receive my next paycheck for another week.

Indira wish everyone to send her $1, $2, $3. She and her children are currently in a homeless shelter and she is given until 9/22, less than a month to get a place before her children will be taken away from her into the foster care system.

I have been talking to my friend Indira for almost a year now and witnessed her journey for as much as she shared. She bravely left horrific abuse from her husband for the sake of her 3 children and herself. But rather than being met with support and kindness, she became homeless, and faced more abuse from other people and police. For more than a year Indira and her children slept in the forest in all seasons with other houseless folks, she traveled long distances on foot to churches and other food programs to barely get something to eat, she only had wifi access sporadically.

Indira like many parents just want her children to stop suffering and see them go to school and be in a stable environment, be safe and happy. Police stole her document and her phone. The system is horrific. If her children are taken away from her it is very likely she won’t see them again before she is extremely poor. I also must stress that the foster care system of “USA” is abhorrent and traumatic. In majority of cases it is better to support the family rather than take their kids away, leaving their children in even more risk of abuse and life long harm.

She hasn’t received any donations in a long time, let’s change that! Please don’t hesitate to reblog.

in order to keep my home, i have to raise $100 daily and pay it to management. the office is closed on sundays (today), but they are open monday - saturday. i need any and all help with this. i have been trying to do this for months, this is a last ditch effort/attempt. i have an upcoming colonoscopy & then my top surgery consultation is in june (& then the surgery itself is six to seven months from after that appointment). top surgery also depends on the results from my CT Scan and colonoscopy. toes crossed everyone, i am so close to the finish line.

Fundraiser spotlight: Hanaa Jad Al-Haq

I’d like to bring a specific fundraiser to everyone’s attention: I’ve been in contact with a woman named Hanaa Jad Al-Haq ( @hanaa-yousef2 ) who could really use a lot of support right now.

Hanaa and her 2 year old son Yousef have been displaced several times already, and they need about £50,000 in order to get out of Gaza and to safety. They’ve raised only £16,540 so far, which is not even halfway there.

In my messages with Hanaa, she told me how very scared she feels, and how she’s lost much of her family to the violence. She and her very young son are basically alone at the moment and living out of a tent, and everything is very uncertain at the moment. Please, if you see this: share it, and donate if you’re able to. Hanaa and her child deserve a good life, please help take some of this burden for them.
