so i am confusion

i never read the books but people have said lestat rejected armand, so was this entire thing of armand telling daniel of his love affair with lestat an actual change they made to the story or was it just unreliable narrator armand narrating his original lestat x armand uwu angsty!! be nice!! no flame!! fanfiction that he has also told louis???

I have watched the last episode of iwtv and my final thoughts are: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I can see why people had issues with the pacing but I also got a lot of the ep spoiled for me so I wasn't going in with super fresh eyes so... bit of a grain of salt. I liked the pacing I think it worked for me and knowing we have a next season I'm OK with the plot points they left for next season. It's so crazy how much Louis has had to endure from the hands of Armand like this is crazy. Literally left to die and DID. like that's insane... to me. Also Nicki being born in 1769, 9 years after lestat, and he died in 1796 making him 27 when he died. He's a part of the 27 club like that's freaky

The loustat reunion made me cry and I loved the ghost story about Mardi Gras 1940, especially Lestats name being changed to lesander. I think I coulda gotten more Louis as blade but I think the amount we got worked very well. I like that we didn't see the turning of Daniel I thought it was a good reveal and I really liked seeing the changed Louis has made to better his life post Armand. Overall very good episode. So sorry this isn't in my usual live blog format I was watching with the boyfriend and I got so engrossed I forgot.

Can I just say how grateful I am that so much of Willow was filmed in real outdoor locations, or on big proper sets with lots of care and detail, rather than just green screens and the volume. Like don’t get me wrong, those are both amazing pieces of technology that both can and are used to wonderful effect, but there’s something very special about stuff filmed in real places, with backdrops the actors and viewers both can see and feel. It often feels much more grounded. There are so many scenes in Willow where you can go yeah that was filmed in a real place or a real set and you can just tell so yeah. Very grateful for that

Damn, I didn't even realise that this year I've drawn every month! And this year I've finalised my Laurence design, designed Eileen (and many other characters that didn't give us canon appearance), split my previous Hemwick Caryll into two characters, drew an art commission (finally after 84 years.....) and finished three projects that got dropped into WIP folder 1-2 years ago! This year was waaaay more productive than I believed!

Not featured: me actually doing something cool for Inktober!

world'd finest is great but my one gripe a retelling of clark, bruce, and subsquently dick's very first meeting is a modern era with phones, high end tech, etc is not as fun as them meeting back in the 80-90s. when land lines were a thing, where it was harder to keep track of things. when they were using their wits to figure eachother out. when they have ti figure out who they were from how they spoke, any discrepancies in their day to day life, how they summarized their nights and days via alibis. something is loss when bruce wayne immediately clocks superman for being superman by 'tracking him via satellite' as their first big reveal.

the letterkenny -> shoresy timeline is actually not that bad except for the fact that it opens by saying the championship where Shoresy slashed JJ happened 'a few years ago.' In combination with how Shoresy's supposed to be old in season 3 — a young retirement for a hockey player, maybe, egged on by how he does full gainers to spear himself on the sword all the time, but still at least mid thirties — it just makes it all funky.

Of course this means that, to fix that for my Wayne x Shoresy au that I now have ~40k notes on + 3 ficlets, I now have an elaborate timeline which extends the Letterkenny seasons like an accordion in some cases and also interprets 'a few years' as a nice liberal decade or so

The City and County of San Francisco first leased 150 acres (61 ha) at the present airport site on March 15, 1927, for what was then to be a temporary and experimental airport project. San Francisco held a dedication ceremony at the airfield, officially named the Mills Field Municipal Airport of San Francisco, on May 7, 1927, on the 150-acre cow pasture. The land was leased from the Mills Estate in an agreement made with Ogden L. Mills who oversaw the large tracts of property originally acquired by his grandfather, the banker Darius O. Mills. San Francisco purchased the property and the surrounding area expanding the site to 1,112 acres (450 ha) beginning in August 1930. The airport's name was officially changed to San Francisco Airport in 1931 upon the purchase of the land. "International" was added at the end of World War II as overseas service rapidly expanded.

The earliest scheduled carriers at the airport included Western Air Express, Maddux Air Lines, and Century Pacific Lines. United Airlines was formed in 1934 and quickly became the key carrier at the airport, with Douglas DC-3 service to Los Angeles and New York beginning in January 1937. A new passenger terminal opened in 1937, built with Public Works Administration funding. The March 1939 Official Aviation Guide shows 18 airline departures on weekdays—seventeen United flights and one TWA flight. The August 1952 chart shows runway 1L 7,000 feet long, 1R 7,750 feet, 28L 6,500 feet, and 28R 8,870 feet.

In addition to United, Pacific Seaboard Air Lines flew between San Francisco and Los Angeles in 1933; the Bellanca CH-300s flew San Francisco–San Jose–Salinas–Monterey–Paso Robles–San Luis Obispo–Santa Maria–Santa Barbara–Los Angeles. Competition with United led Pacific Seaboard to move all of its operations to the eastern U.S., and rename itself Chicago and Southern Air Lines (C&S). It became a large domestic and international air carrier. Chicago & Southern was acquired by and merged into Delta Air Lines in 1953, giving Delta its first international routes.[14] Delta used the route authority inherited from C&S to fly one of its first international services operated with Convair 880 jet aircraft from San Francisco to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Caracas, Venezuela, via intermediate stops in Dallas and New Orleans in 1962.
