Random Ramblings of a C!Quackity kin pt. 2

I'll probably make this with other kins eventually, but I'm waist-deep in this kintype and his memories!

I really miss my "nest." My family was an incredibly eclectic mixture of all different species and I wouldn't have it any other way. A huge nest, at that, with three parents (including myself), four children, and three grandchildren.

To list all of the members of my nest and their species:

Tubbo was the first one I truly considered my kid. Upon first taking the bench trio in, I figured that he'd be my "primary kid," so to speak. I've always had a protective instinct regarding him, so it's no surprise that he was my first real kid. I may not have done the best things to protect him, but it was always my intention to do so.

Tommy is also very dear to me. Revivebur always got on my nerves and I sort of tried to take Tommy away from him, both for Tommy's well-being and because fuck you, Wilbur, I'm stealing your little brother. One of my favorite things about Tommy was him being a shifter. He always kept a humanoid form, but he could add certain features at will. During his time living with Techno, he had a raccoon tail and raccoon ears solely because Techno called him a raccoon and he fucking rolled with it.

There was also a moment where Tommy shifted to a form that kept what he deemed me, Sapnap, and Karl's "best traits." Those were: my duck wings (but properly fledged and developed), Sapnap's horns, and Karl's eyes. It was very sweet.

Ranboo is incredibly precious to me. Him becoming Tubbo's husband had me very wary of him for a bit because I didn't want Tubbo getting hurt the same way I did in romantic relationships. Still, I grew to love him as my own the same as Tubbo and Tommy.

Fundy is also a very good kid. I always thought he deserved a stable father figure in his life, and I suppose having three is even better, yeah? I do find it funny that I stole both Wilbur's little brother and his actual son as my kids, though. FUCK YOU WILBUR, THEY'RE MINE-

I don't have many interesting thoughts on the grandkids other than them just being the most precious little things this fucked up world can offer aside from my ducklings. I just love them and want them to be shielded from every harm.

Now in the multiplexes:

Challengers--Two rising teenage tennis stars meet a third at the U.S. Open Juniors, beginning a triangle that defines not only their careers but their lives. That's the premise of this tempestuous sports drama from Italian director Luca Guadagnino.

At the top of the triangle is Tashi, played by the elegant, long-limbed Zendaya, understandably worshipped at first sight by both Al (Mike Faist) and Patrick (Josh O'Connor), inseparable friends and doubles partners since childhood. Their passion for her is on different levels, however. Patrick is fascinated by her ferocious physicality; Al suffers true love.

Those who dislike nonlinear storytelling may find Challengers a bit, well, challenging. Even Quentin Tarantino's movies don't usually have timelines this scrambled. The story wanders around over thirteen years, as Tashi has relationships with both Al and Patrick, as estrangements and injuries bedevil the trio, as Al becomes a superstar under Tashi's coaching, as Patrick's career slides to the level of declined credit cards and sleeping in his car. We get subtitles like "13 YEARS EARLIER" or "THREE DAYS LATER" or "MIDNIGHT," but sometimes it's mostly variations in facial hair that help us keep track of where we are in the narrative.

It's worth the effort, though. Challengers starts a little slow, but Guadagnino, working from a script by Justin Kuritzkes, unfolds the story in convincing scenes that gradually accrue emotional punch. There are some risqué passages which, unlike most such sequences, actually forward the story.

The three leads--the rest of the actors here are basically bit players--have charm, which softens how unpleasantly the characters behave at times. The core of the film, of course, is the remarkable Zendaya, a Disney Channel veteran who, after a turn as a pop singer--my wife and I took our kid to see her at the Arizona State Fair more than a decade ago--has carved out a niche as a serious actor in stuff like Euphoria and the Spider-Man and Dune flicks. In Challengers her lissome beauty is balanced by a slouchy, imperious pugnacity. It's a true star turn.

The recurrent thumping techno music on the soundtrack verges on the unintentionally comedic at times. And Guadagnino allows the movie to get a bit operatic in the homestretch, with tortured scenes played out against wild windstorms and scandalous revelations telegraphed across the net before crucial serves in tournament play. But this feels right for a story about how our long-haul lives are shaped by the feverish melodramas we get caught up in as adolescents.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEE RANT ABOUT YOUR SPACE OPERA A LITTLE???

Okay so for context, this is about a dsmp space opera AU : It's mainly benchtrio centric and a bit inspired by Ad Astra/De Terra (I haven't read it but I've seen posts about it). I used to put the details in my notes app in my old phone, but it broke so I'm gonna try to go off memory here.

Tubbo is an insectoid hybrid, with a second pair of insectoid arms, mandibles and composite eyes. He works as the mechanic on the ship, and literally crawls into the pipes and vents to repair electronics (the ship having seen better days). He's a loudmouth, a workaholic and would rather die than open up emotionally. I think he'd also like gambling, too.

Ranboo is the last of his species, or at least he thinks so because he remembers barely anything before he was found on a planet by the crew of the ship Tubbo's in. I imagine the planet he was on as like, having tall flowing light purple grasses, really giving it that Little Prince aesthetic. He's enderman-looking, with jet black skin and purple eyes and long, lanky legs. He's proficient in psionics, especially teleportation and displacement, but doesn't really know how to use them well. He's very withdrawn and autistic soft-spoken, and generally a kind soul, although a bit influencable. He also would have an 'enderwalk mode', but apart from stronger psionics and forgoing higher thought in favor of instincts and reactions, I don't know how it would work.

Tommy's a raccoon hybrid. By that I mean he has funky raccoon ears and can squeeze in very tight spaces. He's not on Tubbo's ship though, he's a petty thief and sometimes mercenary. He pretty much has DSMP characterization, especially during the Bedrock Bros arc.

Tubbo and Ranboo are crew of a space pirate ship (name forgotten), that has BBH as a captain, Skeppy, a little diamond man whose body powers a mech, as vice-captain/navigator, as well as Jack (some blaze hybrid/human torch deal) as artillery guy and Niki (amphibious but I don't remember beyond that) as a scout/physical fighter.

SBI (without Tommy) would be a famed mercenary trio, known for their ruthlessness and efficacy. Tommy has asked to join multiple times, to which Phil, Wilbur and Techno respectively said "No", "Fuck off, child" and "Tommy, get out of my cabin".

Phil is a bird guy, who's favorite way of killing is catching people with his talons and dropping them to the ground. <3 He's also married to Kristen, a giantess who runs a large and powerful mafia ring. Also, Schlatt works in the ring, he's a spider hybrid, with spider legs coming out of his back, like that one Spider-Man suit I think.

I think I envisioned the dream team as like, space cops or something, but I don't really like them anymore, so whatever-

May I politely ask you about any headcanons you’ve come up with for your Owl House AU because I really like the art and the concept is really cool!

While I haven't touched my Owl house/Dsmp au in months, I of course do still remember most of the details. So I'll share them with you :)

Keep in mind that when I make aus, I write the story as their original character. As an example; Wilbur in the au has a similar story to Eda but they are still very different characters who posses different narratives. Other characters will also share no similarities, like Ranboo. I wrote Ranboo unlike any of the other owl house characters.

With that out of the way, let's get into some headcanons!

- Wilbur is a wild witch. He can and will mix any magic but he is most known for mixing oracle and bard magic. This mashup of magic rises spirits who sing as a chorus. Almost like haunting backup singers

- Bench trio, inspired by wilbur, start mixing magic as well

- Tommy, originally a beast keeper, takes up bard magic after meeting wilbur. He uses "human music" Wilbur had been collecting too sooth and tame beasts. Using his magic, he can play music from those discs Wilbur gave him.

- Ranboo, originally in the abomination track, abandons it to pursue oracle and healing. Just because he thinks it would be fun. Despite being an abomination himself, he didn't quite enjoy it.

- Tubbo, originally in the plant track, takes up abomination magic in attempts to learn more about them. Since Ranboo doesn't exactly know what he is, Tubbo wants to help him figure it out. Ranboo is unlike any other abomination and there has to be an explanation.

- Technoblade is a human who visits Wilbur from time to time. One day he caught that weirdo going through his garbage and that's where the friendship started. He teaches Wilbur about the human realm but mostly they experiment mixing human music and bard magic. With an electric guitar and an speaker, Wilburs bard magic recieves a wicked range and it's all thanks to Techno.

- Technoblade also discovers glyph magic while exploring the witching world.

- Tommy is the most interested in human music compared to his friends. He even recieved a couple discs from Techno as a gift. The two discs are important to him as he used them to tame his first beast, Shroud the spider.

- At some point, Wilbur tries to teach the bench trio how to mix oracle and bard magic. Since it is his favourite combo and can be a very easy way to amplify bard spells.

- Tubbo, having never done either bard magic or oracle magic, doesn't get it. Tommy can't do orical magic and Ranboo doesn't fully understand bard magic.

- However, Tommy and Ranboo are able to mix their magic in order to preform the spell. Much to Tommy's annoyance, working with Ranboo was amazing. With Ranboo summoning the spirits, then Tommy making them sing, the spell even works better than Wilbur's version since they only have to focus on one part of the spell.

- This experience gets the trio thinking about what else they could do together if they just mix spells.

- Now I'm going to info dump all the interesting combos they discover

- Singing abominations (it's like that phone app "my singing monsters" but more cursed)

- Healing melody: Ranboo attaches a healing spell to Tommy's music. This slowly heals anyone who listens. However, the music also has to be calm and soothing... otherwise...

- That's the opposite of healing: The healing spell reflects the music. If the music playing is loud and brash, the healing doesn't work and instead feels bad. The trio learn this the hard way.

- While not a new discovery, Ranboo can use his abomination magic knowledge to boost Tubbo's abominations.

so..

dream smp superhero/villain aus, am i right

recently(as in, about a few hours ago at the time of first writing this), i just had the sudden urge to just.. write a whole essay about this topic. and like, who am i to not bend to the will of my own mind?

so, strap in, and prepare yourself for me rambling a bunch about how people write plot twists and identity reveals in these kinds of fics(this is gonna be mostly, if not all, positive, if i may add).

(also, quick little disclaimer, for anyone who sees this who doesn’t know of me(which, fair), yes i will be writing in italics the whole time — it’s just a thing i do. just letting y’all know now jandkdndjd.)

now, i’m sure we all know, or at least have heard of the superhero/villain fics, of which there are many, that us dream smp fic writers have latched onto. we all know of the fic that, while may not have invented it, has definitely popularized it — tommyinnit’s unbeatable method. while i myself have never read it fully — got a little bit too crack, for my personal tastes, and pure angst has never been my forte, either (but to each their own, of course!) — i cannot deny the effect it had on this fandom, and i, for one, absolutely love it.

i’m not here to simply talk about the super fics(which is what i shall be calling them from now on, for simplicity's sake) in general, however. no no, here, i want to focus on something specific, something that typically is the main thing that draws one in to this kind of fic.

that is to say, as i’m sure you already know if you’ve read the intro.. the identity reveal, as well as just plot twists in general.

now, i could really have used any sort of fandom to use as an example here, but the dream smp is the first fandom that comes to my mind when i think about this — plus, well, dsmp fics are the only kind of fics i’ve been reading recently, so.. haha, yeah.

so, let’s get this straight, right out of the bat — it’s incredibly obvious to a reader who exactly the supposedly hidden identities are supposed to be. most fic writers, and do note i say this with love, i promise; are not all that great with coming up with original names. when i read a fic, i know that siren is wilbur, that the blade/blood god is techno, and that the angel of death is philza. and while those are the most common names to see, there are more that alert one to their true identities, as well: orpheus, whippoorwill, jubilee, zepherus, crowfather..

(dude i looked so hard(not really) to find other common names ppl use for techno but i could not find any.. either they use blade/blood god or they’re using a unique name or something else that isn’t used much by people.. in which case kudos for them.)

that isn’t to say that most official superhero media have great names, though. i mean.. captain america? ironman? spider-man? batman? whole lot of blank-man’s..

but, well.. for the people who know the characters well(which, well.. if you’re reading the fic, chances are, you’re gonna know the characters), it’s pretty obvious who’s who from the get-go.

but..

that isn’t really.. the point of these fics.

while it isn’t unwelcome to be in the dark about certain people’s identities(or at the least, have semi-original names),, that’s not the point.

the point is to see how all the characters interact with each other.

and.. it’s to see how they react to the reveal.

because, while the reader may know who the character’s real identities, the characters themselves don’t. and that, folks, that’s why most of you lot read them.

if not because of their names, then the summary often clues you in on what exactly you’re reading — that is, typically, an identity reveal between either a civilian or vigilante tommy, and a hero or villain trio of techno, phil, and wilbur; with some sort of extra spice thrown in to make it unique. what that is can vary, either tommy and gang are some sort of experiments, or are otherwise wanted by a not-so-good group, or maybe a different, just-as-good(that is to say, not as good) group is causing mayhem, and everyone around them has to pick up the pieces while keeping secrets locked tight. maybe nothing is as it seems at first glance, or maybe tommy is a kid with a power who heals the wrong(or right) person.

there are a ton of ways you can take this to keep it from going stale — and even if a fic is just like those that come before it, well.. two cakes is always better than one, you know?

brief fic plugging aside, and to reiterate a previous point.. it’s the characters’ reactions that drive a fic forward, not just their secrets.

a great example of this in a popular media is in this show, i don’t know if you all would have heard of it, it’s called, uh.. lemme think real quick...... oh yes, the owl house.

jokes aside, the owl house does provide a wonderful example of what exactly i’m talking about. major spoilers for the show for the next few paragraphs, for those who haven’t watched it — which, i highly recommend doing so, for it is very good. the start is a bit weak, i will admit, but the rest of the show absolutely makes up for it. definitely gets better halfway through the first season, if not a bit earlier than that.

now — and forgive me if i get a couple details wrong, it’s been a hot second since i’ve seen the earlier episodes — in season two, luz, with amity’s help, comes across a book, one written by a human who was previously trapped in the demon realm, just like luz is currently — you know, after she destroyed the only portal door they had to keep belos, the show’s main antagonist, from getting his hands on it. and apparently, he was building a portal door to the human realm — and was presumably successful.

so over the next few episodes, they build up this human, named phillip wittebane, as a fairly nice and smart guy. mans is just trying to get home, you know? and as luz reads the book, she begins to idolize phillip a bit. she follows his instructions, and eventually, she manages to rebuild the portal.

it uh, fails.. but that’s a story for another day.

she goes back to the book, and finds out phillip needed to go consult this being called the collector — who is important but not to this essay — and luz assumes he needed to find him to help with the portal.

with help from her aunt, lilith, she manages to go back in time(don’t ask how that’s not important), and find phillip. they team up, and adventure to find this macguffin that’s used to summon the collector.

good news! they find the macguffin.

bad news? uh.. phillip, isn’t quite as nice as was first believed. in fact, he happily tries to sacrifice his new companions in order to get away with the macguffin.

the two manage to get away, and end up confronting phillip once more — which ends with lilith punching phillip in the face, hell yeah girl!

but once they return to their own time, well.. the show cuts back to phillip, and..

it’s revealed that he’s belos, who is, if i may reiterate, the show’s main antagonist.

fans theorized about this for a while now, but this was the first time it was confirmed.

but folks, we’re not done with the owl house talk yet!! (i promise this is relevant okay the toh talk will be over soon).

so, it was revealed to the audience that phillip was belos..

but the cast, all they know is that phillip is a bitch. for all they know, phillip was a human, and belos is a witch.

but this all changes when the episode hollow mind airs.

luz and hunter — the golden guard, belos’ right hand, and supposedly his nephew — end up traveling into belos’ mind(again don’t ask it’s not important).

they end up falling deeper into his mind, and find out all the terrible things belos has done(which absolutely crushes hunter’s mindset, as he was advocating for his uncle earlier, poor kid) — launch an attack on a witch town, claiming it was by wild witches; horrifically kill a bunch of witches with a test version of the sigil system(well, they were still alive when we last saw them, but they were in agony, and i wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up dying a while after), and literally murder his own fucking brother.

and if that wasn’t enough, turns out? he cloned said brother. and then had to kill that clone when they fell out of line. rinse and repeat for the next, oh,, four hundred fucking years.

icing on the cake? hunter is a clone — or a grimwalker, as the show calls it. which, in of itself is another great example of the fans knowing something before the characters, but if i touched in it deeper this section would be longer, and y’all probably came here for the dsmp talk,, jdnkdmidj.

anyway, luz ends up getting confronted by belos — or rather, inner belos, but if you haven’t seen the show you don’t need to worry about the difference — and this.. this is where he reveals his true identity to luz.

and were this a lesser show, this would probably be very underwhelming for fans. like, c’mon, dude, we already knew that, give us something new.

but, again.. this wasn’t a reveal for the fans. this was for the characters.

and by god, did they deliver on that.

luz, who was already kicking herself for idolizing the prick that was phillip, now has to deal with the fact that, not only was she idolizing belos, albeit his past self, but she also helped him.

so, all this to say.. plot twists don’t need to be a surprise to have a reaction.

now, i just accidentally made like half of this essay so far about owl house, which, in a thing that’s supposed to be for, well.. you know, not the owl house.. probably not a good thing?

so, well.. how about i spend the rest of this time talking about a fic that i believe handles plot twists really well — that is, both ones that a surprise to the audience, and ones that aren’t.

let’s talk about.. tommyinnit’s services for villains, vigilantes, and various other vagabonds by scorpionoesit.

that’s right, folks, this whole post was secretly an advertisement for vagabonds this whole time!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! YOU WERE FOOOOOOOOOOOOLED.

anyway.

in my opinion, vagabonds perfectly handles both types of twists.

for those who haven’t read it before, the TLDR of the fic is that tommy is just.. some guy, who ends up helping all sorts of people, be that civilians, vigilantes, the mafia.. even villains and heroes.

granted, we haven’t seen the latter two yet, but it’s only a matter of time!

and usually, these sorts of fics would have tommy have some sort of healing powers, like tommyinnit’s clinic for supervillans by bonesandthebees, which i linked earlier. but.. this fic doesn’t do that.

that isn’t to say fics that do have him use healing powers aren’t good — for one, have you seen tommyinnit’s clinic, or like- literally any other fic like it? and two, the last thing i want to do is talk down in writers for using tropes, even if they seem overused. once again, i’d like to bring attention to the two cakes theory.

but, i do have to admit.. it is refreshing.

i could explain his power, but tommy puts it together better than anyone could, over in the second chapter. the tldr of it, though, is information. which.. doesn’t sound all that good, until you see what he can get up to in the fic. i won’t spoil much(i say, knowing i’m going to spoil so many other things),, so if you’re really interested in knowing, and haven’t already, i’d say check out the fic!

and, just to state again, i’m gonna be going over some things that are spoilers for the fic, so either go and read the fic, or proceed with caution. and if you’ve already read the fic before, hell yeah!! take a peanut butter cookie.

now, as i’ve said before, there are some things — mainly characters — in this fic that are pretty obvious to a dream smp fan — which, as stated before, is not a bad thing.

there’s the vigilante orion, who’s stated to have a “large red cape” and a boar skull — who you can immediately pin down as techno from that description alone. and then, when tommy mentions a protégé of orion’s, who just know he’s talking about ranboo(technosensei for the winnnnn).

then we have masquerade, who, if not from his name(presumably being a reference to one of the tftsmp episodes), or his power(semi-time travel and portals), then by his outfit, we can say safely that he’s karl.

the hero marauder, even if you haven’t seen that name used for her before, is also pretty clear to be puffy, seeing that she’s stated to be dream’s mother.

and the author isn’t hiding their identities, either — in fact, they want you to know. because trust me, you’ll know when they’re attempting to hide it. or, well.. not quite hide it, but they aren’t giving any obvious clues, either.

jägerbomb is a villain that hasn’t shown up much, beyond a few mentions here or there, but even his identity can be found, if you know where to look. there’s the fact that jägerbomb is a type of cocktail, and the fact that, apparently, his power causes him to not be liked a lot by micheal(who, for those who don’t know, uh.. doesn’t have good parents, to say the least). all this to say, well.. there’s only one person in the dream smp that’s so obviously connected to alcohol. jschlatt.

schlatt, though, even through his minor appearances, can still be found out(unless we’re wrong but like.. [points at the villain jschlatt tag] we’re.. probably not). but, what if there’s a person who isn’t so obvious?

enter, geyser. or, sewage boy, as he’s more commonly known as.

at first glance, especially at the latter name, you’d probably think, like.. they’re charlie, right? which.. sounds plausible, until you take into account their power. manipulation of water — or, more specifically,, steam. which, well.. probably not charlie, then? especially considering he shows up later in chapter three, with.. you know, not steam powers.

when looking into at sewage boy’s identity by focusing purely on their powers, there’s.. not many people you could pin to them. maybe foolish, but, if anything, he’d be related to water, not steam. boomer, mayhaps? i don’t know much about him, but he’s like, some frog guy, right? again, still related to water, not steam. and while this fic was first posted a bit after he joined, i can only assume that it was planned out beforehand, so.. again, probably not him.

again, looking purely at their steam powers, or their name,, doesn’t really reveal anything about their identity.

but.. if you look deeper.. it can be done.

looking at their powers at the surface, as i’ve said before, doesn’t help much. but.. their powers isn’t just steam — or, well.. it is, but they can do more than just control steam.

specifically, in the fic, it’s said that they can, and i quote..

“..turn all the surrounding water...into steam so fast that the steam so fast that the expanding pressure could and would rupture every pipe in the vicinity with an explosion powerful enough to level every building in the area.”

and, i should mention, just a few paragraphs before that quote, he’s said to wear a trench coat.

folks, is there any sort of character that comes to mind when you think of explosions and trench coats?

that’s right, the one and only wilbur soot.

now, personally, when i first saw this theory, i shot it down real quick. knowing what we know about him and his son, fundy, back when chapter two first came out(which is it’s own can of worms), i thought it didn’t make too much sense. if wilbur wanted to protect fundy, yeah, i could see him being a villain, but.. wouldn’t it make more sense to just.. lay low?

but.. then i saw more and more evidence leaning towards it. the first two things i mentioned, as well as the fact that he is absolutely down to murder a kid because he might threaten his son’s safety — something i assume someone who is willing to become a villain would do.

plus, well.. all we know about wilbur’s power is that he needs to charge it, which.. makes sense if he needs to summon steam to use in a fight.

and then there’s the fact that both wilbur and fundy are a bit weird about sewage boy — specifically when wilbur finds out tommy and tubbo went to fight between orion and sewage boy.

“But the Lower is dangerous, Niki,” Wilbur argued. He glanced at Fundy for a second before continuing. “There was a massive villain attack just down the street last week!”

Fundy glared at him instantly. “Really, Dad? That’s your argument?”

…

“That attack was a major outlier, dude,” Tommy argued. “Besides, I was there, and I got away literally without a scratch.”

...

“You were what?” Wilbur yelped, at the same time Fundy yelled, “Wait, you guys actually went?!”

Tommy turned to Fundy, confused. “Yeah? We said we were going as we left, we weren’t exactly hiding it.”

Wilbur turned Fundy. “Why didn’t you stop them?”

Fundy turned a fierce glare on his dad. “I’m sorry, I was a little busy freaking out over why the fuck Sewage Boy was in the Lower.”

...

Wilbur suddenly looked sheepish. “F-Fair point.”

so.. yeah, i am definitely on the side of sewage boy = wilbur soot now.

all this to say, well.. uhh. something something plot twists.

okay i’ll be honest this deviated a little bit from my original point but uh. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

and all of that,, is just the stuff from the first two chapters. and it’s not even everything there is. we’ve got tubbo’s stuff, i’ve only kind of mentioned ranboo, micheal is lovely, clementine is the best character, tommy’s got a whole thing, and.. [gestures at fundy] yeah.

and then there’s the stuff in the third chapter. this fic isn’t even done yet we’re not even halfway done yet.

i could go on for so long about this fic. like i didn’t even get into the non-superhero/villain related foreshadowed stuff. eret’s powers,, niki’s connections.. and like, duuuuuude i could ramble so much about the fucking implications of the peanut butter cookies. was thinking about those implications since like the first week of may.

but i’ve rambled for far to long, and at this point it’s only vaguely related to my original point. so i should really wrap this up by now, hahaha.

so, tldr.... the best plot twists and identity reveals aren’t always reliant on the audience being surprised as well, character reactions are important as well; the owl house is a good show, and read vagabonds.

- Eret is a skater. [I think I already shared this, but Eret beloved.]

You know how all castles have an underground dungeon. Dose the The syndicate Castle have a dungeon? Would be a empty dungeon, or would it be overrun by mobs and monsters? Would the tiny bench trio boys go exploring in the dungeon, or would they be too scared to go down there because they’re end up getting lost?

The Old Creepy Basement

Everyone in The Syndicate had left the castle to go do something, they hadn't really told the three young borrowers what they were doing but they had taken Quackity with them

Which left Tubbo in charge for the day

The three we're peacefully sitting on the kitchen counter eating some bread and cookies Niki had left out for them, then Tommy suddenly got an idea quickly swallowing the food he was chewing

"We should go exploring!" The young blonde proclaimed as he stood up and started packing some bread into his bag

Ranboo tilted his head to the side a bit confused "But we've already explored the entire castle, where would we possibly go?"

"The basement" Tubbo piped in helping Tommy more properly pack away the bread in his bag "Techno and Sam we're talkin about blocking it off so today might be our last day to check it out"

Ranboo thought it over for a moment and nodded his head "Sure, it's better than just wandering around the castleand waiting for everyone to get home"

The tree packed up a few bits of bread into their bags just in case they got hungry and headed inside the walls looking for an easy entrance to the basement, Once they found an entrance that led to the stairs to the basement they started climbing down excited to see what they would find!

The basement hadn't been used in sensory so there wouldn't be anything bad down there right?

The boys had gotten horribly lost in the dungeon and we're now wandering around on the floor aimlessly trying to find something that looks familiar so they could get out, Ranboo hugged himself tightly whimpering as he thought he heard something skittering across the floor behind them

"G-Guys? Did we bring any matches with us" The half Enderman asked grabbing Tommy's hand is he offered it out to him, he flinched as he heard the skittering creature again

Tubbo opened up his bag trying to find anything they could use for a source of light "N-No- fuck I didn't realize there wouldn't be any torches down here!" He reached over grabbing Tommy's other free hand as he started pulling the two forward away from the strange creature that was hunting them

Tommy whimpered has he looked over his shoulder swearing he saw something walking towards them, the three started to realize they probably shouldn't have come down here alone

"S-So how are we going to find a way out of here? No one's going to come looking for us!" Ranbok asked in a panic desperately trying to keep his breathing in order

Tubbo didn't respond to the turned around noticing several pairs of red eyes in the darkness behind them, he very slowly pushed Tommy and Ranboo behind him pulling out the small sword Techno had made for him "Guys... get ready to run"

Tommy looked behind him getting ready to run freezing at what he saw "G-Guys-"

"Tubbo you're not thinking of staying behind to fight that thing right!?" Ranboo squeezed Tubbo's arm shivering as the giant spider started walking closer to them

"G-Guys-"

Tubbo tried shaking Ranboo's hand off his hand "Yes- I should have known better than to take us down here so-"

"Guys-"

"Tubbo no! We all should have better prepared for this-"

"GUYS!"

The two quickly turn around as they heard a loud hissing noise similar to that of a creeper, they all quickly top down covering their heads as they heard the spider run off

But the creeper never exploded.

Tommy hesitantly uncovered his head looking up at the creeper that towered over them and just stared down at the most hits voice like eyes, he slowly stood up and hissed at the creeper

The creeper happily hissed back moving a bit closer to the boys and leaning down so there face was a bit closer to them, the three very slowly backed up from the creeper trembling

Tubbo hesitantly patted the creeper on one of its legs "I-I think this one is good?"

"It did the baby creeper hiss!" Tommy excitingly yelled as he started climbing up the creepers fur "Sam told me that if a creeper his back at you and doesn't explode it think your baby will protect you!"

Ranboo started climbing up after Tomny with Tubbo following close behind "So we basically have an undefeatable bodyguard right now?"

The three safely climbed on top of the creepers head as it started walking down the hallway away from the spiders, Sam usually said they should stay away from creepers but if they didn't want to be eaten by a spider this is their best option

Sam had returned to the castle early with the three new bar where they had saved from the Egg Empire, he left them to sleep on one of the guests beds in the castle considering how exhausted they were

He was tired from all the fighting today but he needed to check on the boys before he did anything else, Sam loves the chaotic little guys but he genuinely didn't trust them being all alone for half of the day

Sam checked every part of the castle the boys usually hung out in but didn't find them anywhere, he quickly notice just how quiet it was panic starting to sink in

The creeper hybrid started running around the castle quietly hissing to himself to try and find the boys, he froze as he heard of creepers has coming up the stairs from the old basement followed with familiar voices

"Saaam! Over heeere!" Tommy yelled as the creeper they were riding on top of stopped at the top of the stairs

"Hey Sam!" Tubbo greeted as Ranboo politely waved at him, Sam very quickly scooped the three up hissing at the creeper to back off

The creeper sadly wobbled back down the stairs into the basement whimpering

"Nooooo- Sam you made nugget sad!" Tommy kicked the hybrids hand

"Yeah nugget didn't do anything wrong! He protected us while we were in the basement!" Tubbo yelled also kicking Sam's hand

"It was very mean Sam..." Ranboo added the only person who didn't kick the hybrids hand

Sam didn't fully understand what was going on as the three continued complaining and how he treated 'Nugget' the creeper, he didn't understand how the boys got so attached but when he decided to clear at the basement he would leave the creepers alone so we didn't end up hurting the creeper

Hopefully the boys would more properly explain their adventure with nugget during dinner

I can't help but think Techno sometimes just picks up the bench trio (especially Tommy) and set them on top his back because spider instincts go BRRRRR after they begin to trust techno a bit more. Maybe dream does this to ranboo too when they start to become friends...

This is adorable and definitely something that happens when there is more trust between everyone. It happens the most with Techno doing it to Tommy.

It was terrifying the first time it happened because Techno did it with no warning. He just kinda grabbed Tommy and set him on his back before just going on with his day. Tommy wanted to stay scared, but it was difficult to with how warm and unusually soft it was here. He ended up getting comfortable enough to fall asleep.

Now it's a normal occurrence and Tubbo and Ranboo don't understand how Tommy is so comfortable with it, but as long as their friend is happy, they won't worry too much.

And yes, Dream eventually tries it with Ranboo. It's a tad different seeing how Dream is more mini giant sized in comparison to the humans and more like riding a horse for Ranboo. A horse who can run quickly and jump extremely far. Needless to say Dream doesn't jump far with Ranboo on his back after he flung the poor boy into the river after trying to jump across it

Phil

- He works with kids! :DD (school tour guide)

- Oh and he also mains the candy stores and food venders

- He’ll sneak sad kids lollipops and free treats just to make them smile

- MUMZA COMES AROUND! They are literally the cutest thing

- On April fools he dressed up as the fairy godmother

- is a God for knowing the recipe for dole whip

- Will make you hydrate, with your own will or not

- “Mate you can’t keep coming around and asking for more churros, you actually need to pay for them”

- The bench trio annoys him whenever he works.

Techno

- Works at the haunted mansion because the man is built for the ride.

- Literally stands there and doesn’t smile (he scares a bunch of children even tho the man has long pink fricken hair)

At one point tried to summon actual ghosts cuz he knows the place is actually haunted

- “Attention guests, stay within your buggies because we are always experiencing supernatural activity. If you move you might die.”

- “Techno you can’t say that!”

- “My apologies, if you move you will die.”

- Is forced to sub in for the role of ariel (this has happened more than once and it’s the most hilarious thing that happens)

Wilbur

- is a character actor and performer, he takes his job Seriously.

- The man plays a bunch of characters, most notably; Flynn Ryder, Prince Charming, and Loki

- He gets thrown into a bunch of roles because of how flexible he is with acting

- The man is dramatic af and he loves every single second of it.

- When he was first recruited he did street performances with Tommy

Tommy

- This boy is flexible af, with the amount of energy he has and the fact that he is also an extrovert means that he can work in basically anything

- Has probably been in every position ever

- He subs in for the role of star-lord and also Luke sky-walker when needed

- He did street performing with Wilbur before being forced to mascot for a bit

He absolutely hated it

- “How the hell can you do this 24/7 dream, it smells like crap in there!”

- “Eh you get used to it”

- His favourite job has to be street performances

Ranboo

- Boo boy over here is a character attendant, he walks characters around in costume and makes sure nothing goes wrong

- He’s an actual soft boy but because of his height he is intimidating enough for people to not mess with him and the character he’s with

- He has been offered the cast of groot because of how tall he is but immediately said no and went for attendant because of social anxiety

- Has dragged his friends to the break rooms multiple times because of heat stroke and other heat related things

- He doesn’t know what else to do apart from stand

- *ranboo agreement noises and nodding*

- Usually gets paired of up Tommy or tubbo because jimmy knows he’s the most comfortable with them

- Absolutely loathes the song ‘let it go’

Tubbo

- Does street performances but often opps for character roles

- He plays spider man, Peter Pan and occasionally the Cheshire Cat

- Whenever he plays Spider-Man he always does cool stunts and stuff to get kids pumped up (he’s an ex trampolines man)

- He acts like a completely different character as Cheshire Cat- like seriously it’s terrifying to see his change in personality

- He is a little gremlin as Peter Pan.

- Often duets the song ‘let it go’ with Tommy

4:02am, November 12th

Ranboo laid on his back on the floor of the motel, staring blankly at the ceiling. He’d heard people talk about how quickly things could change, but he hadn’t known just how right they were until that night. He sat up, stifling a groan, and leaned against the wall of the room to look around. Two beds sat comfortably against the wall, and in them were his two new… friends, he supposed, Wilbur and Techno. Wilbur had told Ranboo that the three of them would talk more in the morning when he and Techno weren't half-asleep. Ranboo rubbed his hands together, bothered. He was anxious to be out of the motel as soon as possible. Ranboo didn’t like sitting around, especially since he knew he was considered a criminal now.

The android peered up at the bland-looking clock above the beds, listening to its gentle ticking. Only four in the morning, Ranboo frowned, laying back down on the carpet. It’s gonna be a long night.

Ranboo was absently blowing a strand of “dyed” dirty-blond hair from his eyes when the other two awoke in the morning. The android had taken off his mask and glasses at some point during the night, and he was thankful for the privacy of the room keeping him safe. Ranboo watched as the curly-haired man blinked sleep from his eyes and glanced around the motel room.

“So it wasn’t a dream,” Wilbur yawned. He stretched as he sat up and looked at Ranboo sitting on the floor. “What are you doing down there?” He sounded amused, a look of confusion and entertainment painting his features.

“Uhh…” Ranboo glanced down and patted the carpet beneath him, making a popping noise with his mouth to fill the silence. “It was… comfortable?”

Wilbur grinned at the android, a small huff of laughter escaping his throat. “Okay then,” he said between chuckles. “I take it you’ve been awake all night then?” He threw the linens off himself and stood up. “I mean, machines don’t exactly have to sleep, I assume.”

Ranboo shook his head, tracing circles on the carpet. “Not really. I might have closed my eyes for a bit though,” he admitted.

Wilbur raised his eyebrows and nodded but kept quiet. A silence fell over the duo as the curly-haired man began to freshen himself up, and Ranboo laid back down on the carpet while he waited. At some point, Techno hauled himself out of bed as well, and soon the trio was awake and ready to start talking.

“Tell me what they looked like, show me some photos, do whatever you want,” Ranboo suggested as they all sat on the edges of the beds. “I just wanna make sure I know as much about them as possible before I start investigating or anything.”

“Well, the android was a short-ish brunet kid, blue eyes, a buncha commons stuff like that,” Techno joked as Wilbur pulled out his phone and presumably began scrolling through photos. “His model number was, uhh, TU880, if that means anything to you. I always wondered why dad chose that, of all things, but I guess the old man had his r-” he interrupted himself as he noticed Ranboo’s agitated expression. “Uhh, are you alright?” He asked hesitantly. “You don’t look too good over there.”

Ranboo shook his head, trying to clear the fuzziness from it. TU880, TU880, where have I heard that before? He bit at his lip and squeezed his eyes shut. Think, Ranboo, think! You know this! Why can’t you remember? The deviant wracked his brain, searching for the answer, but no matter what he did, the memory was irretrievable. He let out a shaky breath, clutching the bedsheets as he attempted to ground himself. “I- I’m alright. Just… just a memory, is all.” Or lack thereof. “What else?”

The twins exchanged a worried look, and Ranboo silently begged for them to drop the topic. Fortunately for him, the older brothers seemed to be more concerned about their brother and his android than to a random deviant they’d picked up off the street. Wilbur held out his phone to show Ranboo a photo of who he guessed was TU880 and the younger brother.

The two were smiling, the human boy with curly hair like his big brother, but golden blond rather than chocolate brown. The android had long bangs that fell over his eyes and almost covered his LED. He had a wide grin on his face that made Ranboo’s heart leap as he stared at the picture. He wasn’t sure why, and if he was being honest, he wasn’t sure if he really wanted to know why. Taking a deep breath, Ranboo ran a scan on the photo.

Wilbur smiled fondly. “Oh yeah, they’re best friends,” he murmured. “It’d take a war to separate them, they’re so clingy.” His tone was teasing, and Techno and Ranboo both smiled at Wilbur. “I know they haven’t been gone long - it’s not even been a day yet, actually - but… I guess I miss them.” Wilbur tossed the phone aside. “Whatever you have to do, Ranboo, I want you to do it. We promised our dad we'd find them safely, and we can't let him down.”

Ranboo nodded solemnly at Wilbur but stayed silent. He pondered over his options in his head quietly.

Ranboo wrung his hands together, fidgeting. The two probably passed through here overnight, he guessed. Maybe someone in the area knew the duo’s whereabouts.

“There’s a good chance they stayed here somewhere,” Ranboo muttered, half to himself. “It might not hurt to talk to some people around here, right? Someone had to have seen them at one point or another.”

“We could give it a shot,” Techno nodded, pushing a strand of hair from his eyes. “What d’you think, Wilbur? It can’t hurt, I guess.”

Wilbur stood up, and Techno and Ranboo quickly followed suit. “Why not? Let’s go.”

Your resident angst enjoyer is here since we had the lovely lore yesterday. Please enjoy headcanons of how I think bench trio would react to learning Dream has escaped (as usual, this is all roleplay and based around the characters). For the sake of making these shorter we will assume everyone knows what the alarm means.

Ranboo is walking back from the spider spawner, having just finished healing his weapons. There’s a slight rain, but it’s an otherwise peaceful night. But then he hears the alarm and his head shoots up. (I enjoy the head canon that c! Ranboo is autistic, so the sensory issues here are off the charts. The ringing is loud, it’s so loud and the noise itself makes him throw his hands over his ears) but then of course, he remembers what it means. Dream is out. He’s struggled enough to get Dream out of his head when he was locked in prison. Apparently Dream had still managed to control him from there. He sinks to the ground as the weight of it all hits him. It’s too much, it’s all too much. He can’t do this anymore. He’s just a kid and the alarm is so loud and he’s scared, and now he actually has something to lose. Tubbo. Oh god, Tubbo. He won’t know. He’s too far away to hear the alarm. And the last thing Dream tried to do before going into prison was killing him. Ranboo stands up on shaky legs, cursing himself for being so selfish. His friends need him. His family needs him. He knows that he’ll have to find Tommy too, but he has no idea where he is. He’ll have to wait. He grabs his trident and gets over to Snowchester as fast as he can. If anything happened to Tubbo before he got there- no. No he can’t think about that. He can still hear the alarm blaring, but it’s faded into a dull ringing in the back of his mind. He gets to Snowchester, but he needs to figure out where Tubbo is. He checks everywhere, but he can’t seem to find him. Michael is safe, thank god. The one thing of Ranboo’s that Dream has left untouched. He checks every room in the mansion, growing more and more scared. Tubbo isn’t there. He walks outside, panicked. He’s too late, oh my god if he was too late- but then he notices a pair of footsteps in the snow. It’s more than he’s had to work with before, so he follows the trail they make. And then he freezes when he realizes where they lead. The nukes. He throws the door open, praying Tubbo is in here.

And there, standing at the end of the room is a familiar shape. He looks so small, but his posture is so tense. “Tubbo?” He whispers gently. Before Ranboo has time to react, Tubbo whips out an axe and spins around. His eyes are frantic and scary, the uncontrolled emotions of a boy with far too much power and never enough support. “Tubbo” he tries again, softer this time gently walking towards him. His hands are shaking, his eyes are watering but his other hand is still on the launch pad. Ranboo slowly reaches his hand out, and gently pushes tubbos axe down. He’s met with resistance at first, but Tubbo slowly gives in and let’s the axe clatter to the floor. His eyes meet Ranboo’s and he can see all the fear and pain behind them. He’s scared, he’s so scared and Ranboo is too. He says nothing, but he gently pulls Tubbo into a hug. His whole body tenses before realizing it’s not a threat, it’s a comfort. He leans into Ranboo’s chest and starts to let out small shaky sobs. They slowly sink to the floor, and Ranboo just sits there as Tubbo clings on for dear life, basking in the comfort the other person provides. “It’s gonna be okay” Ranboo whispers, gently stroking Tubbo’s hair. He turns his head back towards the prison, the alarm still blaring. “It’s all gonna be okay” They both know that’s not true.

Tommy is alone. He hears the alarm go off, but he has nowhere to go. Nowhere, and no one he would call home anymore. Any progress he’s made comes crashing down around him. Dream was supposed to be locked up, he was supposed to be gone, he was finally supposed to be safe. Tommys shaky breaths speed up, he can feel a panic attack coming on. He starts to run, not sure of where he’s going or what he’s doing. He can’t go to Techno, he’s probably the one who broke Dream out. If he goes to find Tubbo he’ll just be putting him in danger, he has no idea where Ranboo is and Wilbur? Tommy pauses for a moment, head turning to Las Nevadas. He longs to go find Wilbur. He still doesnt trust him, but he’s a comfort, he’s familiar. When he’s with Wilbur Tommy doesnt have to do it all on his own anymore. He takes a few shaky steps forward, before stumbling back. What is he thinking? Dream is Wilbur’s hero now. He won’t be safe around Wilbur, hell he’s probably out searching for Dream. The gentle splash of rain on his skin is not enough to wash away the pain, the fear, the regret. He stumbles along, not sure where he’s going, just letting his legs take him anywhere, anywhere to get away. He’s forced to stop when he reaches the edge of a steep drop off. He pauses, and let’s out a broken laugh as he realizes where he is. The ruins of L’manberg. Without knowing why, he starts to crawl down into the hole. It’s started to become overgrown, and it looks truly beautiful. He finally reaches the bottom, and looks up at the large flag. This had been his home. And then he’d watched as the people he loved most destroyed it, time and time again. He sunk to his knees, still looking at the beautiful flag. Remembering all he lost. The rain continues to pour, and for the first time in a long time, Tommy just lets himself sob. He cries for the fact his home is gone. He cries because not a single person has come to find him. He cries because he knows he’ll never be free, freedom is just an illusion, something he can never have. He cries because he still really misses his brother. Not this Wilbur, but the old one. The one he built this country with. The one who smiled with pride at tommy as they declared independence. The one who would joke, and smile, and could still be a massive prick, but would never hurt Tommy. He cried for all that he’s lost, and all that he’ll lose in the future. He cries for the death of the boy he was, his innocence, joy and courage stripped from him too soon. Dream would find him again. He knew he would. And then he would have to be strong, stand his ground and face him. But tonight, he allowed the broken boy to shine through. The alarm continued to blare, the rain continued to pour. And Tommy was still alone.

I want Tommy to become attached to Michael despite not wanting to becuase everything he gets attached to is taken away and kinda becoming another Dad figure. I want Tommy to live in a real house for once and he swears its just becuase they’re planning to kill Dream together, but in reality its because he’s safe and not lonely. I want Tommy to slowley stop worring about Dream becase he’s sick of Dream having the power over him, and sick of playing the ‘hero’ becuase people want him too. I want the hotels to merge. I want Sapnap, Karl, and Quackity to be bullied becuase the teenagers platonically got married before they actually got married. I want Tommy and Ranboo to reconect since they’ve drifted since exile and Tommy to realize Ranboo’s pretty cool too. I want Tommy to be included and safe and happy and not lonely anymore.  Just... platonic polyam marriage between best friends I have so much ideas for this au its not funny

As much as I love people bending canon to fit a sbi family troupe or trying to explain why c!sbi acts like they do in canon despite being family, and really writers and other au makers do an amazing job, Id love to see more Canon Divergent Aus where them being actual family changes the plot. Becuase even cc!Techno himself said if they were family, he wouldn't be treating them like that and that can probs be the same for the others. So, Id love to see more of it, of where Techno and Phil and Wilbur and Tommy being family actually alters things!

Yo Just a reminder its okay to not want Shroud to be ‘hybridfid’ and/or turn into Tommy’s kid, but stop trying to police others who do and make them stop. Its also okay to want Shroud to be Tommy’s kid and/or be a hybrid or a human or straight up Tommy’s son whatever, but stop trying to force people who dont want to use/accept it. We can live in harmony without attacking each other or making people feel bad about it, just like all fandom we dont have to be unified and trying to do so is dumb. Enjoy what you enjoy and dont partake in things you dont want. However regardless of your choice, remember to tag tw spiders for the people who are terrified of spiders please, specially with fanart!

Platonic Polyam Bench Trio Marriage AU

You guys asked, so here I am to deliver! Platonic Polyam Bench Trio marriage au where Tommy marries into Tubbo’s and Ranboo’s platonic marriage. (focus on Tommy lol)

NOTE; These are about the c!characters and not the irl people, and I'm writing this like a poly queerplatonic relationship okay? None of this is intended to be romantic or anything else and anything that is in this list is PLATONIC INTENTIONS ONLY

Edit; Now called the Bench Husbands Au

-It kinda all kicks off when about a week or so after Tommy gets out of Prison. (Note, nothing after the first stream after Tommy gets out is canon in this au, as well as some things before)

-Tubbo and Tommy finally have a small fight and argument, before talking, like really talking and Tubbo invite Tommy to come live with them in the mansion in snowchester once its done.

-Tommy doesn't really want to... but he’s tired and lonely and still scared to death and Tubbo promises he’s safe with them, plus if they lived together they could plan on how to kill Dream easier as well.

-Ranboo doesn't mind but after that he tries to go talk to tommy more, but Tommy isnt... the most receptive? Tommy is suffering still and is feeling very replaced and lonely, but doesn't excuse his kinda snippy behavior with Ranboo

-This finally comes to ahead when Ranboo snaps and calls him out, leading to another small fight, before Tommy apologizes and they also talk. This one is more in depth though and Tommy talks about what happened in exile, in the prison, and just general shitty stuff that's being going on. 

-Ranboo, in turn, talks to him about the voices and Dream’s voice and the sleepwalking and Tommy is very much more concerned about them then anyone else he told was, and validates the fear about it, and resolves to help Ranboo get rid of it somehow.

-After this, and both trying to convince the other they should tell Tubbo, that they both probably need to tell Tubbo. They want to keep him safe and not worry him, but... they both need help in different ways and they both love him enough to not do that to him.

-The night ends with lots of tears, Tubbo admitting his own traumas and tears and what he’s been not saying, and a promise to help each other.

-Its not a while after that actually Ranboo brings up the idea of adding Tommy to their marriage. He can tell the blond is struggling with feeling replaced and low-self esteem, and it would help him feel more equal and loved maybe? Tubbo thinks its a great idea and they go to ask Tommy.

-Tommy’s pretty uppity at first, he believes its just them pitying him and treating him like glass again, which he hates more then anything, but after they calm him down and explain they just want him to feel equal and that they both actually cared for him and wanted him to join in on their thing, he’s more contemplative. Ranboo nervously throws in a few other points, like how for legal reasons it could benefit him like it was for them, their allies had to leave him alone, plus Tubbo only started making his own hotel becuase he wanted Tommy to start interacting with him again, and-

-At this point Tommy just, interrupts and says yes, surprising them. They didn't exactly think he’d say no, but they thought it would be harder then that. He laughs at their expressions and says why not? Plus it stood to reason they’d want Tommy, everyone wanted Tommy.

-Ranboo and Tubbo exchange a look before bullying their now platonic fiancée. They agree to get married as soon as the Mansion is done, and till then Tommy can finish packing his stuff and a few other things he wanted to do.

-Also Tommy is totally not avoiding Michael because every pet he ever got close to has died and he doesn't want to get attached and risk Tubbo and Ranboo losing something they cared about because of him, no siree, why wouldn't you think that?

-Speaking of Michael!

-Its not all that strange to keep undead mobs like Zombie piglins as pets, in fact Zombie Piglins are the probably better undead mob to keep around due to their mostly passiveness if you want a pet and the fact they don't need much to eat and wont really be harmed if out leave them alone for long periods of time

-Though Tommy kinda thinks Tubbo and Ranboo’s insist on treating him like their child is weird, but he’s willing to let them have it, clearly it made them happy to play around

-Isn't until he finally moves in that he realizes that Michael is different then other zombie piglins and finds himself being pulled into the parent dynamic as well

-Though now that he thinks about it, something about Michael seems off… welp it's probably nothing :)

-When the mansion is done, he tears down the dirt shack and makes it a community garden and it becomes one of the only things that stays free of the red vines (who knew watering it with water from the holy land would make it untouchable? It's thanks to this garden later others figure out how to defeat the egg)

-They elect to not have a ceremony, not now at least but Tommy actually thinks a small wedding party would be fun at a later date. Ranboo doesn't mind much if they have one or not but Tubbo is actually very excited about planning it.

-Tommy wears his ring on a necklace most of the time, but occasionally wears it on his fingers, usually when he needs something to fiddle with.

-Ranboo wears his on his tail (the area right before to fluffy part) normally but also wears it on his finger sometimes when he feels like it. (If your version has horns, he also does that too) it just really depends on what he’s feeling and if he’s forgotten where he put it. He also like, never takes it off unless to move it around because he’s afraid to lose it.

-Tubbo wears his as an actual ring on his finger (though if he has horns, sometimes he puts it on one of em if he needs the ring to be off his hand.) Tubbo learned the hard way when building nukes or other machinery (since, if you can believe it, his husbands aren’t that comfortable with the nukes as he is) you can't wield or do high heat stuff while wearing metal and nearly lost his finger. He’s very lucky and he has a small scar from it.

-Each of them have their own rooms so they can have their own space and somewhere to go if they want time to themselves/store their stuff in, but there is a 4th room (directly across from Michaels) where they share and tend to curl up to sleep together. About 5 out of 7 days of the week, some combo of them are cuddling together at night, more if they're having a bad day or nightmares.

-There's multiple bathrooms in the mansion but there's one they all like the best and will fight over it/race to get into it first before the others and the other two will stalk off salty to use a different one

-They're all pretty tactile people but out of them, Tommy is the most tactile (once the fear of being hurt recess he practically attaches himself to the others) and Ranboo is the least (he won't seek out comfort and touch as much as the others unless he needs it, but is the best at telling when the other two need touch or need to be left alone) and Tubbo is in the middle of that.

-Tommy is the one that cooks most of the time, Ranboo is banned from it after The Incident and while Tubbo is okay at cooking, Tommy just knows more recipes and how to make things taste really good.

-Tommy picked up sewing from when he was a kid, even before he was found by Wilbur and adopted by Phil, it was useful to be able to patch the rags he called clothes, and just ended up continuing because his brothers and dad sucked at sewing. It then morphed into full tailoring because he found it relaxing and liked being able to make his own clothes. He can and will be insulted if anyone wears anything he deems ‘ugly’, especially his new husbands. He makes them clothes all the time, specially Michael.

-In fact he also cleans the most, he just gets bored and while he makes a mess, if the house gets to a certain point he gets really uncomfortable and overstimulated, so he cleans.

-DomesticInnit? In my au? More likely then you think!

-Gradually the whole ‘watching the prison’ and ‘planning to kill Dream’ starts to fade as he gets back into the groove of living again and therapy. He’s just… tired of Dream having a hold on everything Tommy does, he’s sick of it. So… he just tries to live these days one step at a time. (Healing arc baby! Dream can die mad UwU)

-Tommy dragged them both to Therapy with him after a while.

-Because of this he finds himself home a lot with Michael, especially if the other two are busy. They’ve pretty much decided that someone has to be home with Michael at all times, which is now 100% more doable with the 3 of them, and Puffy or Foolish babysit if there’s ever time they can't.

-Tommy is a lot less of a hovering helicopter parent then the others and was the one to finally convince them Michael cant live trapped in a room. Yes, they were all worried for his safety but… you can't raise a kid in a cell, even if it's a nice one. Tommy takes Michael out more

-Tommy started to sleep walking again once they moved in and he still gravitates towards water for some reason. Nothing more startling then waking up because you plunged into frigid below 0 temp water while sleepwalking. Ranboo also enderwalks/sleepwalks more as well and there've been some nights where Tubbo has had to track them both sleepily walking around and make sure they don't hurt themselves or drown or something. At least Ranboo is semi-aware when enderwalking and normally just does weird ender things, Tommy likes to apparently walk into oceans or climb the mansion and nearly fall off and wander hundreds of blocks away. Tubbo’s not salty at all, really.

-Sapnap, Quackity, and Karl are 100% salty the benchtrio got platonically married before they got married

-They fight about last names all the time despite none of them actally taking eachothers last name, and if they happen to pick and choose on which one they’re feeling based on mood, well they can do what they want!

-However its agreed Michael’s last name is hyphenated so he’s now ‘Michael Beloved-Underscore-Innit’

Does anyone else see the whole ‘c!Wilbur was insane and always was a bad dude’ interpretation/take and just kinda cringe? Like, dude, he was a good guy before all that, and saying that just removes all the good he did before. And he WAS a good guy before.  And People don't just ‘become insane’ either. Boy was suffering a MENTAL BREAKDOWN, likely due to trauma, stress, and lack of stability once they got banished to Pogtopia. That kinda stuff? Causes paranoia, delusions, and can numbs your emotions while heightening others. He needed HELP, someone who wasn't a 16 year boy or a emotionally stunted fighter dude.  And obviously, he didn't get it. I'm not saying he didn't hurt people, he did, and im not excusing it, but can we please stop victim blaming? Or at least start recognizing that Wilbur wasn't alone in this? His ‘friends’ turned their backs on him, his son ‘betrayed’ him (even if he didnt, from Wilbur’s point of view he had no clue Fundy was a spy), he lost the thing he shed blood, sweat, and tears over, and now he doesn't know who else to trust becuase it seems EVERYONE is against him now.  Like if you like Villain!Wilbur, thats cool! That's fine! Just, in canon he had more going on and I want to see more of that instead of going ‘Person with bad mental health/who needs help = EVIL PERSON’ please? MORE ABOUT THIS TOPIC HERE IF YOU'RE CURIOUS BECUASE I HAVE MANY THOUGHTS
