Janai is actually thrilled, don’t let her fool you.
More on the little prince below!

Prince Sar, named in honor of the late Queen Sarai, is the only child of Queen Janai and Queen Amaya and heir to the Sunfire Throne.
His cousins Zerah (left) and Talia (right), although stripped of their titles, have grown up alongside him.

Runaan's bow and Penelope's challenge in the Odyssey
(Or my disorganized speculation on The Dragon Prince's hypothetical Arc 3 and the parallels between Runaan, Ethari, and Rayla with Odysseus, Penelope, and Telemachus).
Rayla and Runaan share Odysseus' journey to return home and reunite their family, and while their homecoming in Book 7 does not include Odysseus' final violent struggle to retake his home, I'm wondering if a similar parallel to Odysseus might occur later in their arcs if TDP has an Arc 3.
In the Odyssey, Odysseus finally returns to Ithaca to find his home overrun by predatory suitors seeking to marry his wife Penelope and kill his son Telemachus. In a final gamble to deter the suitors, Penelope had claimed she would marry the man who could string and shoot her husband's bow, but given this was a recurve bow—infamously hard to string for those ignorant of the technique—only Odysseus was able to do so (though their son Telemachus almost manages it before Odysseus steps in).
Runaan's bow is given a good deal of narrative weight throughout the Dragon Prince. It is the weapon used in the murder that incites the plot, a symbol of the cycle of violence, a source of division among people trying to forge a tenuous peace. It also symbolizes Rayla's fathers' enduring love for her, and for each other. It's Runaan's bow, with all that entails. Ethari made it for him, and anyone who would claim it carries a piece of him with it.
It's more than a bow. It's also, in the literal sense, more than a bow. Three weapons in one, it's a complicated combination of bow and blades. Ethari makes his weapons with specific people in mind, and even with simpler blades like Rayla's his craftsmanship can be... unpredictable for the uninitiated. Runaan's bow is even more specialized. It would take experience to handle, much less use, without hurting oneself. Viren had the sense to wrap it up and tuck it away, and other than Runaan, only Rayla, raised and trained by the men who made and wielded it, has successfully used it.
So where am I going with this? I can't be sure, but I have a feeling that if someone (the Bloodmoon cult, another army?) tried to occupy the Silvergrove, their first move would be to capture the home of the village craftsman, and the large cache of weapons inside. But this particular craftsman knows his weapons just as he knows his family, and anyone who tries to claim them may find they prove more trouble than they're worth. And they've made themselves the targets of the very people who know how to use these weapons best.

The people voted for Corvus and Soren to be the next of my Arc 3 redesigns, and so it was done! I apologise for taking so long, things irl have picked up so I didn’t have as much time to spend on our guys.
Check out the more in-depth story and design choices below
Corvus
Story Choices
Following the events of Arc 2, Corvus, Soren, and Terry travelled with Pyrrah to find King Harrow but were unsuccessful for several months. Returning to Evrkynd empty-handed, King Ezran and Queen Amaya summoned Corvus, informing him that Amaya was stepping down as General of the Standing Battalion and wanted to name Corvus as her replacement. He was deeply honoured to be trusted with the responsibility and accepted the position, believing that he’d still have enough freedom to spend time how he wished. Unfortunately, it wasn’t that simple, and while Terry continued the search for Harrow with his new ally (who I’m keeping secret for now), and Soren returned to his Head Crownguard duties, Corvus was thrown into the proverbial deep end. Stuck coordinating recruitment and training, patrolling the borders, and going on aid missions, Corvus could only return to Katolis once a month for a few days. And while the distance had left his relationship with Soren…awkward, the Crownguard’s schedule was always suspiciously free during his visits (“Well, I have nothing on right now, so I guess we can go for that hike…”).
Design Choices
Designing Corvus was a fun challenge! I tried to communicate his promotion in the Standing Battalion without making him completely unrecognisable. However, because his Arc 1 and 2 designs outfits look like he cobbled together the most practical pieces of armour, they lack the cohesiveness one would expect from a leader – which meant I had to depart from his usual style. To bridge the gap between Tracker-Corvus, Crownguard-Corvus, and General-Corvus, I decided to take inspiration from his initial concept art and blended that with elements of the Standing Battalion uniform and Corvus’ old designs. His scarf, of course, had to stay – but you may notice it’s been stitched up, a strip of the scarf being a gift from Corvus to Soren before he left the Crownguard.
Soren
Story Choices
Soren’s been through quite a lot in Arc 2, dealing with the reopening, mending, and re-reopening of old wounds. He, Terry, and Corvus were sent to look for Harrow, but after a few months, they returned to Katolis defeated. When Corvus privately confessed he’d been transferred back to the Standing Battalion, Soren was happy and supported him through the adjustment period. Though Soren can’t quite explain why, he grew more bitter as the years went by – though he’s done very well to not show it. During the daytime, Soren trained King Ezran in swordplay, improved his poetry, and did his best to keep everyone safe and happy. In the dead of night, however, Soren would slip through the city streets and secretly meet the spies he’d sent to look for Claudia. No one else was allowed to know he was seeking her out alone, not until Soren himself could decide what he would do with Claudia when she was found.
Design Choices
It wasn’t easy to develop an Arc 3 design for Soren! His silhouette was fine, but I went through about 5-6 different colour schemes and 3-4 different cape designs, and I spent so long toggling layers to see which combination worked best. Soren’s armour is a blend of Arcs, but the cape design has completely changed to reflect his elevated rank. His hair is longer and tied back with braided cloth from both Corvus’ scarf and Soren’s cape, and he’s clean-shaven again. I wanted to show that while he’s matured a lot – Soren’s regressed a little since S7. Post-Arc 1 and post-Arc 2 share a lot of similar traumas (Viren dying, Claudia escaping) – but this time, he lacked the same support system. On a more upbeat note, that scar across his face? Hat had grown too big for Soren’s head and dug in to avoid falling. Now Soren only lets Hat rest up there when he has the downtime for it.

Was thinking about Callum and Viren's bizarre, unsettling dreams, but then I was like "wait. hold up. If someone gets nightmares the first time they use dark magic, then what kind of crazy ass nightmares was Aaravos having when he first used it? Planets colliding? Puffer bats flying in reverse? The cosmic judges and dragons taunting him? Human extinction? Leola blaming/being scared of him? Weird crap with every Primal Source like solar storms, volcanoes, eclipses, earthquakes, tsunamis, thunderstorms, black holes?- 😃"

If Arc 3 gets greenlit I'm imagining a Sorvus side-plot where Ezran has given Terry a secret mission to get the two idiots to realise they love each other, and Terry is just getting increasingly more and more frustrated
Because Terry's like, very in tune with his heart/emotions - he probably knew there was something deeper with him and Claudia early on. So Sorvus being so oblivious is equally painful and endearing to him
Think something like this:
Ezran: "Thanks for briefing me on your latest search mission to find my dad. You're all dismissed. Terry? Can we chat for a bit?"
*Once Terry and Ezran are alone*
Ezran: "How's your other mission going?"
Terry: "Awful, King Ezran. I orchestrated a private moonlit picnic for them, and the whole time they were debating who'd be better in a scavenger hunt!"
Ezran: "Were they making those faces they do when the other isn't looking?"
Terry: "YES! It took everything I had in me to not burst out of the bushes and tell Corvus that he'd be much better at scavenger hunts if he didn't keep getting lost in Soren's eyes."
LMAOOOOOOO this is amazing
all I can say is @a-very-sparkly-nerd and I have plans in the making.

(Tldr at the end) Okay here goes.
People really misunderstood Callum in episode two, s7 (that's okay, the writers didn't do a great job of conveying what I'm about to say, no hate to them though) Callum did not betray Ezran
I see a lot of people criticizing Callum for prioritizing Rayla instead of Ez and saying Rayllum is toxic because it got in the way of familial relationships. But that's not what Callum's actions were really about, they weren't about "oh rayla is upset so I'm going to burn down all bridges for her" like a lot of people seem to think. His actions had a lot to do with Rayla but they also had a lot to do with the fact that Callum genuinely believed what Ezran was doing wasn't right.
(btw I'm writing this with Callum's opinions in mind, I'm not just projecting mine on Callum. I believe Runaan did something wrong and deserved punishment for it, and I believe both Rayla and Ez were both right and wrong. I am on everyone's side)
In the beginning of the episode, we see Callum trying to reason with Rayla and defend Ezran by telling her to give him a minute to process what recently happened to him. And he says "he [runaan] did kill it's king" but he never actually said he agreed with Ezran, he was just trying to get Rayla to see Ezran's side.
Ezran and Rayla's fight during the council meeting was understandable upsetting for Callum, his two favorite people were fighting. And when he tried to follow Rayla to get her to come back, Ezran commanded him to do otherwise, as the king, Ezran has a right to do that. But that moment probably felt uncomfortable and belittling and frustrating for Callum, it's the same unhealthy push and pull dynamic that I talked about in my 'why Callum shouldn't be high mage' meta. It made Callum disinterested in the council meeting, and while that's not Ezran's fault, it is the same corner that the broyals keep walking themselves into.
Callum goes outside and sees Rayla crying, that is also understandably distressing for him, but he doesn't blame Ezran at all. He apologizes for his choice in that moment, he says he should've gone after her, not "Ezran shouldn't have done that or said that", if Callum was completely choosing Rayla over Ez, he easily could've deflected the blame to him, but he didn't, he apologized for his own actions which to me shows that Callum isn't the type to blame Ezran unnecessarily.
When Callum goes to Ezran and calls him a jerk face (very uncool thing of him to say to Ezran, Ezran didn't deserve that) Rayla and Callum already finished their conversation where Rayla decided to secretly get Runaan out, there wasn't a point to try to convince Ezran to let Runaan out then. He went to Ezran, not to convince him to free Runaan, but to convince Ez he wasn't doing the right thing. As the scene progresses, Callum's voice gets softer and he starts speaking sensibly and reasonably without ad hominem attacks. He acknowledges Ezran's feelings about Katolis being destroyed but also acknowledges that that particular part of Ezran's pain isn't connected to Runaan. And Ezran has no problem sharing his true feelings with Callum, Callum doesn't dismiss them once. He puts his hand on Ezran's shoulder and validates his feelings, also not to mention he apologizes immediately after calling Ez a jerk face. And when Ezran says "he killed our father" Callum doesn't know how to respond because he isn't completely siding with R&R. He knows Ez has a point.
Rayla and Runaan could have been seriously injured during the fight with Soren and the soldiers. Aanya was going to shoot them, and Ezran was going to let her. It's really weird that this fandom seems to think Callum should've sat by and not stood up for them. Callum absolutely shouldn't have condoned Rayla breaking Runaan out without permission, he should've told her to stop and stay put until he had a chance to talk to Ezran's more. But that's not what happened, what happened was a messy game of tug-o-war between two people who love each other that nearly killed people and almost destroyed relationships. Callum didn't choose Rayla, he chose what he thought was right, and that was not Ezran at the time. People get so mad at him for not standing by Ezran's side but he wanted to, but standing by someone's side doesn't mean sitting back and letting them do something that you believe is wrong.
He gave up his role as High Mage because he knew he couldn't continue to play that role after this, for him and Ezran's sake. He can't be his High Mage but he'll always be his brother.
TLDR: Callum actually did handle this situation maturely. The problem didn't lie with Callum or anyone else. This situation was an ugly and messy one that anyone would have a hard time navigating especially a kid who the people closest to him in the entire world were actively hurting each other. He's willing to do anything for Rayla, but this isn't about choosing Rayla, it's about what he thought was right.

ok. look. it was very fun to clown about rayllum proposal like omg imagine and yeah, there was a definite possibility, certainly more than i ever would've admitted before a couple months ago, but it was not at all surprising that it didn't happen. the fact that people were genuinely upset that it didn't, adding that to their list of s7 complaints, was absurd to me (it was absolutely the minority opinion but still). and now, seeing people who 100% no question believe we will get rayllum babies/pregnant rayla and like please guys do NOT be getting your hopes up so much that if WHEN (< manifesting) we do get arc 3, it'll immediately fall flat because of what was assumed to be a given plot point. this show never fails to surprise me with what it does (*shudders* miyana.......)(and i'm just saying that a lot of shows wouldn't make the fact that their main characters are fucking a primary focus)(like obviously lok did it but that's different ok it's different in an epilogue/distant past context)(anyway) but i still don't see it Happening Happening (it could 100% be an epilogue thing, and i have no doubt it'll get addressed to some extent because it basically already was). peace and love

Was thinking about Ezran's "You can take your people and build your own future somewhere away from here" offer to Karim (which was a good choice for what the situation was) versus that being what humans were given (although it was forced exile) and how they destroyed that future (the Mage Wars), and also... the way the show may complicate the ethics of leaving in the future? Because isn't that what the Cosmic Council did?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elarion, unworthy whelp, Wept as the stars turned black the sky, They donned their masks They turned their backs, And left Elarion to die.
At what point is leaving the right, or the irresponsible thing to do? Soren and Terry leaving was a net good, but it left Claudia all the more vulnerable; Lissa had to leave for herself, but it meant entrusting her children entirely to Viren. Rayla did abandon the other assassins ("it was hard, but it was the right thing to do. You know that, I know you do") for better reasons, and Callum for worse ones in some ways. But the show does seem to condemn watching ("We can't just watch while humans and Xadia keep hurting each other" / "It's not enough to watch the world. I want to make a difference") and particularly indifference being shades of cruelty in their own way as well, with the Cosmic Council being the ultimate embodiment of it:
He did not know their arrogance, how they had rejoiced to look down upon their newborn sea. Where once they’d watched errant flames burn with pride and undeserved power, there was now only stillness. The stars looked down upon a perfect mirror and saw their own divine reflections.
Tumblr media
But what if you're not even watching, anymore?

Sooo how would a Rayllum parenthood be like?
Rayla's pregnancy, how their child will look like, the birth, what powers it has, how many arcanums, how everyone interacts with the child especially Rayla and Callum, when the child grows up, it's lifestyle and personality etc
Will the child be super powerful? What will it's name be? (I feel like most of us have agreed it will be a girl called Sarai tho, but other names could be cute too ig, like a middle name)
I see loads of these especially recently, but I need new things to have fake scenarios over okay???

TDP theories time!
These are all about Aaravos!
Y’all remember in Season 3 when Aaravos killed Khessa by practically vaporizing her with just a slip of his finger?
Tumblr media
And in Season 4, when Zubeia was telling Ezran and Rayla about Aaravos and about how Luna Tenebrus mysteriously died? And when we watch the backstory sequence we see her disappear just like that? What if the way he killed Khessa was the same exact way he killed Luna? 😩😭
Moving on from that, I know there’s differing views on how Aaravos would be able to corrupt/possess Callum ranging from him needing Callum to use dark magic again to the fact that he has other ways to corrupt like he did with getting Pharos bit by the star caterpillar.
Thinking back to Season 5 with the corrupted banthers and how even a scratch from them would result in corruption really got me thinking. WHAT IF AARAVOS COULD JUST CORRUPT CALLUM WITH JUST A SCRATCH!! 😭😭
Heck, I’m scared that even him just laying a finger on Callum and just touching him could be enough at this point. 😭😫
Especially after seeing him released from his prison and literally being a whole freaking titan, coupled with seeing what he did to Khessa and all of Lux Aurea while he was still imprisoned, I’m really terrified of what this startouch elf will be capable of now that he’s free 😭😫

The first batch of my Arc 3 concept designs are finally done! It felt fitting to begin with the three who started it all: Rayla, Callum, and Ezran
Check out the more in-depth story and design choices below
Rayla
Story Choices
In the wake of S7’s Finale, Azymondias wasn’t just a 2-year-old King of the Dragons, but the only surviving Archdragon. That means he’s a very important figure across Xadia and the Human Kingdoms – and needs to be protected. Shortly after the events of S7, Rayla reclaims her title as ‘The Last Dragonguard’ and resurrects the order to act as Zym’s attendants, advisors, and protectors. She’s spent the last few years travelling between the Storm Spire, the Silvergrove, and Evrkynd, helping where she can and leading her fellow guards (who may be revealed in a later post). Rayla’s relationship with Callum has grown stronger than ever. Even though they’re holding off on marriage until Aaravos is dealt with for good, Callum gives her the Xadian equivalent of a promise ring he handcrafted (Ethari helped). With them both feeling secure with each other, they are more comfortable with being separated…but that won’t stop them from being attached at the hip whenever they’re near each other.
Design Choices
Going into these Arc 3 designs, I had a much clearer image in my head of Rayla compared to the other characters in my lineup. Using reference images of Tiadrin and Lain made creating Rayla’s Dragonguard uniform feel very bittersweet. Unfortunately, from a creative standpoint, uniforms run the chance of limiting the personality in a character’s design. I tried offsetting this by making Rayla’s undershirt and embedded gemstones in her armour more Silvergrove-y than Dragonguard-y. I also kept Rayla’s iconic belt, Arc 2 colour scheme, and added some of Ethari’s swirls where possible. Beyond the uniform, I kept going back and forth about her hairstyle. Keep the Arc 2 bun? Return to Arc 1’s style? Braided? A simple ponytail? Eventually, I settled on a half-up braid that let my sleep-deprived brain think I was getting the best of both worlds.
Callum
Story Choices
Ezran was disappointed when Callum turned down being his High Mage again, fearing that he’d lose his brother’s support in the council room. In reality, stepping down as High Mage meant that Callum could step up as Crown Prince. In the years following S7, Callum splits his time between assisting Ezran and studying magic on expeditions across Xadia. One of those expeditions leads him to Aaravos’ book in Elarion, which helps him delve deeper into the other primal sources. He’s fully mastered Sky and Ocean magic and has grown incredibly proficient at Earth magic. To Callum’s dismay, even with the help of Lujanne, Ethari, and Aaravos’ book, he still isn’t clicking with the Moon arcanum. He also hasn’t fully unlocked the Sun arcanum, but he’s getting very close and is a strong fire mage when wielding the Staff of Ziard. By Arc 3, Callum has gained the title of Archmage – and people far and wide seek him out for magical assistance, leaving him overworked and exhausted.
Design Choices
I was very excited to come up with Callum’s Arc 3 design for one reason: the parallels. His Arc 2 outfit is meant to resemble Viren, as Callum had taken his place as the High Mage of Katolis. But because he is no longer ‘High Mage,’ and instead ‘Archmage’, Callum’s Arc 3 outfit is intended to reflect Aaravos. I tried to do this with his uncovered arms, the open coat, and the vaguely celestial elements on his tunic. The geometric pattern on Callum’s coat is meant to look like a feather (symbolising his first primal source) while in the style of his Arc 2 coat. Rayla gifted Callum a matching belt buckle to hers (though with a moon opal for emergencies), which he wears alongside his uneven towers buckle from Ezran. His hair is mostly the same, except slightly longer, because I don’t see overworked-mage Callum caring about his hairstyle.
Ezran
Story Choices
S7 was a massive tipping point for Ezran: losing his brother, his true heart, and almost losing himself to the cycle of violence. While he stopped before he could go too far, Ezran was unequivocally changed by what happened. After Aaravos’ defeat, Ezran has been overseeing Evrkynd’s construction, ensuring it’s a safe home for humans and Sunfire elves who lost their home. However, it is also open to anyone, regardless of their origin. While he and Queens Janai and Amaya decided the people would rule the city of Evrkynd, Ezran continues to rule wider Katolis alongside his council. He does spend most of his time in Evrkynd for his royal duties, but Ezran is learning to take breaks – occasionally joining Callum, Rayla, and Zym on small getaways. As is tradition for anyone in the royal family, Ezran began combat training in his mid-teens with Soren as his teacher. He’s grown quite good and can hold his own in a battle (long enough for his Crownguard come to his aid, at least).
Design Choices
Ezran’s design in TDP has always been one of the simplest ones, probably symbolising his humble personality despite his status. I tried to maintain that effect in his Arc 3 outfit but with one major alteration. Going into this design, I wanted Ezran’s struggle in S7 to have had a visible impact on him by including armour in his design. His outer tunic is now gambeson, and his shoulder pads are scuffed-up leather. If he decides to wear it, the gold studs on Ezran’s shoulders are where his cloak will latch on. As should be expected from an age jump this severe, the biggest change to Ezran was his build. He’s finally overtaken his brother in height, much to the dismay of both Callum and Rayla, and is expected to be as tall as Harrow when he’s finished growing.

TDP Season 7 SPOILERS
There are a plethora, overflowing cornucopia of reasons why Netflix should greenlight Arc 3, but imo the most important one is the fact that Claudia still loves the people who were once in her life.
Terry says it himself when discussing how to change her mind with Ezran's council,
"Love is what drives her. Love for her family"
Yes she destroyed the world, yes she is almost nearly corrupted beyond reason but she said it herself,
"I'm still nice. I'm still me"
We all know she most definitely is not herself, but in the face of her brother's pain on the Storm Spire
She stops. She tells him she won't kill him. Which is lower than the bare minimum for anyone else, but it is a lot for Claudia.
So what if, in arc three, however long and painful the process is, Claudia feels the remorse she should?
What if she reconsiders her decisions. Viren did it. Why can't she?
And moving forward with this, it's now evident Aaravos sees Claudia as his daughter, his only light in this world. And from this season, we've also seen that the only people who can make Aaravos think back on his morality are people he cares for. In seven seasons the one time we've seen Aaravos actually look regretful is when Terry (someone he cares for, at least during that scene) calls him out on his deception and half truths.
In fact, he feels the regret so acutely he actually goes and reveals all his deception to Claudia (the only other person he cares about). The only reason they go forward with the inversion is because Claudia feels Aaravos's pain and wants to avenge Leola as well. If it weren't for that, Aaravos revealing his deception would have caused all his plans to fail and he was okay with that - because he hurt someone he cared about. Mere months of love smothered his millennia of anger.
And more importantly, the main message in this show is stopping the cycle of violence, emphasising the power of compassion and forgiveness over punishment and destruction, so instead of leaving it with this brutal (temporary) end for Aaravos's life, wouldn't it be better to defeat this cycle of violence and give us an end where Claudia's regret leads to Aaravos stopping and thinking 'is this really worth it'. And ending where their compassion wins over their inner violence, to prove the point young Ezran said so long ago.
This season emphasised their father- daughter relationship so much, that much love and emotion can't be just for them to be a badass evil duo (though they will be).
He is going to come back in seven years and nineteen days. He's been doing this because of the destruction of an innocent life (who he loved) and his plans did fail. So this isn't the end for Aaravos.
Plus the Cosmic Order, whose cruel judgement is what propagated all this, remained unseen this entire season. And they're the violence that started this cycle. To see Aaravos reformed and possibly forgiven by the world (I am delusional I realise) would show them how pointless their cruelty and order is and how ridiculous their reasoning for Leola's death was.
For the show to truly prove its message, it should continue. Show us compassion does win over violence, forgiveness wins over revenge, love over hatred. And shove it in Cosmic Order's face. That this brutal destruction of Aaravos's physical form isn't how this story ends.
Claudia still loves her family. And Aaravos loves Claudia. Show us that love is enough.
And additionally, MORE DANTE BASCO. ANYTHING FOR MORE DANTE BASCO.

I was looking at this scene again, and it got me thinking:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You notice how the star on his chest is shining? It's shining because he was being imprisoned. But why would it be doing that?
The only other time we saw his star shine was when he was performing magic through Viren in s2, but his whole body was illuminated, so that doesn't really count. But look here:
Tumblr media
Leola's star was also shining, but this was caused by her being destroyed, which brings me to the conclusion that this happens when Startouch elves are being affected by another's magic/powers. But something's off...
Zubeia said this: "A Startouch elf is no ordinary enemy. Our adversary was literally a being from the heavens with vast and mysterious powers."
And the Dragon Prince Wiki states: "Ultimately though, Star magic is little understood, and the study of the Stars is made even more difficult by the scarcity of magical creatures connected to them, with the last Startouch Elves and unicorns having last been seen centuries ago."
We see a Tidebound elf mage (I believe to be Akiyu) making the prison here:
Tumblr media
If Xadians hardly understand Star magic, then how is it that they were able to create a prison that Aaravos couldn't escape, even if he used his Star powers? How did they make something that he was vulnerable to and made his star shine? Is it possible that they perhaps had...help? Did the other Startouch elves also take part in the plan?
The whole thing about Aaravos being imprisoned is weird, because if the other Startouch elves knew what he did, then they could've destroyed him. Obviously they're powerful enough to do so, because if Aaravos was more powerful than them, then I think he could've and would've stopped them from killing Leola.
They didn't destroy him, which leaves so much ambiguity regarding them. Did nobody tell them about what happened? If so, that wouldn't make sense, because Anak Araw told them about Leola (and really, how exactly did he get to them? Did one just teleport down to check up on things or something?)
It doesn't help that the wiki says that Aaravos calls himself the last of the Great Ones. Before s7, I didn't know whether that meant he was the last one in Xadia, or the last one, period. However, at the end of the season, he looked up at the sky and said, "Are you watching?" His question was obviously directed toward the other Startouch elves, which means that they're still out there. Aaravos was the last Startouch elf in Xadia, which makes this even more confusing.
Was no one able to contact them to tell them about Aaravos? Were they just being arrogant a**holes again and were like "eW, faLLeN." and didn't wanna deal with him personally, so they just decided to help with the imprisonment? Did they just not involve themselves at all, letting him be Xadia's problem, and Akiyu's magic was powerful enough to make Aaravos vulnerable and keep him restrained? Did Aaravos being fallen and only having a fraction of his Star power somehow weaken him and make him more susceptible to the magic of the other Primal Sources?

Hoping for s7 scene where Ruthari finally go against their cultural beliefs and have a big feelings time with Rayla where they tell her that they're sorry for everything that happened to her when she was just a child and for leaving her all alone to bear the weight of the generational and cultural trauma they helped create, with Rayla silently crying next to them. Finally accepting the fact that nothing was her fault and that she was, in fact, the victim.
