So what’s your list of fics for this year like? Is there any you’re looking forward to working on? Any oldies you plan to edit or update?

This is a fun question, I hope you don't mind if I send it right back to you 😂 I'm curious what you're working on!

And hmmm... Whatever I end up working on is always so random, my adhd goldfish mind just sort of lands on something without warning and I write it. Even if I fully intend to write one thing, I might get distracted by something else shiny and run off writing that. It's the unfortunate reason you can basically never trust me when I say I'll update something 😂😭

Buuuut, I was working on Plaything today and got through a whole draft, so that'll likely be the next story to update. I can feel it in my bones, this little chapter is ready. I also have a draft of Crown of Piercing Bone and Hi :), and a mostly completed draft of Twisted, Tastes Like Heaven, and B3G_CRY. Brat's only like halfway done, and I have a million different drafts for Tangled Threads and Heartstrings and Chaos Hearts (for Lautrec/Patches, Yhorm, Bell Bearing Hunter, Varre, Anri & Horace, Pursuer, Artorias), plus a hundred other drafts not worth mentioning. I'm also working on an original piece for publication, but other than that, anything not on this list I have no current plans of updating, though the stories aren't abandoned. The only ones I've for sure abandoned are Gold Gilded Leash and In The Teeth of Silver Wolves, so sorry to anyone who might've liked those, they've been taken to some happy little farm far far away ✨

It's really hard to pick my five favorite fics, but I'll try 💪✨

1) Tangled Threads and Heartstrings (Dark Souls), because I don't think I'd have even started writing fanfiction if not for my insatiable armor kink which started that piece ✨

2) Tastes Like Heaven (Devilman Crybaby), because it showed me how fun mixing humor with my prose can be 💕

3) Sweetest Tongue, Sharpest Tooth (Elden Ring), because its one of my best pieces from a technical and poetic standpoint, also it gave me a debilitating werewolf kink I'll carry with me for the rest of my gd life 🐺

4) Brat (Call of Duty), because it doesn't take itself too seriously, it's just horny and indulgent and that's all it needs to be 🔥 (also it has an audio now that is super duper steamy)

5) Crown of Piercing Bone (Hannibal), which I haven't posted yet, but it's 85k in which alone is impressive for me, and its also become this really wacky comfort fic for me 💖

so season 8 is just about dean coming back from purgatory with a new boyfriend. and sam being crazy jealous of his new boyfriend and being a loser over a girl he liked. and then dean’s old boyfriend comes back and they get Gayer than before.
