Bubble Tea at Gong Cha ✨
Since moving to Japan, I’ve barely had bubble tea! Today, out of nowhere, I thought, Wait… it’s been ages! So, of course, I had to fix that with a classic milk tea with tapioca from Gong Cha. ✨
Back in London, T4, Whale Tea, and Gong Cha were my go-to spots, but in Japan, I’ve mainly been to Chun Sui Tang, and I’ve only visited Pearl Lady Cha Bar once. Clearly, I need to start working my way through more bubble tea places—for research purposes, obviously. 😆
After all, I used to work at the head office of a bubble tea company for 1.5 years, so I suppose you could say I take my boba very seriously!

a pet headcanon of mine is that after they're done with the sigil removal, emira expands her horizons and starts studying the psychological side of healing, pulling in some resources from the human realm and combining it with boiling isles methods (i imagine the field of psychology in the boiling isles, while existent, was often pushed aside as just a lesser branch of the healing coven back when belos was in charge. i do imagine there's often magic like the memory tweezers involved)
and i imagine she ends up focusing in on like, art therapy and self-expression, because she knows how important that can be, after having her individuality stifled so hard when she was young

Bubble Tea
Catching up with loved ones and listening to our favorite music while we chewed on our tapioca pearls. Much has changed since I was first introduced to bubble tea, but my love for bubble tea has not. The traditional milk tea is my favorite. The sweet, creamy beverage of strong tea, milk and those addictive tapioca pearls is something I crave so frequently. Have you got a favorite flavor of bubble tea?

Din Tai Fung (ディンタイフォン) at Tenjin
Dessert was my dinner at Din Tai Fung in Tenjin, and it was an absolute treat! I go here quite often—not for the bubble tea that everyone raves about, but for their tofu desserts, which are always so smooth and delightful. This time, though, I decided to branch out and try their parfait for the first time, and it didn’t disappoint! It wasn’t just pretty but packed with surprises—layers of creamy sweetness and a touch of tea jelly for a refreshing twist. The little jug of black tea to pour over instead of syrup added a fragrant depth that made each spoonful feel so sophisticated. Of course, I couldn’t skip the mini tofu with tapioca, my go-to order, perfectly balancing silky and chewy textures. Dessert for dinner might just be my best habit yet!
