I seriously need to compose a large post about her misadventures because it is a crime to keep it all in the drafts at this point.

These thoughts are descriptive of trauma, careful.

An encounter like this would shake the life in her.

Battle's aftermath and followed poacher clearings took its toll on her mental health. She began to think that miniature world needed her efforts and although it was true around locals and that particular region of Highlands in general, as it is rather remote and from what I read about it, also its very own thing, the greater diorama had her in its corner and not even on its brightest spot.

While she was busy rescuing beasts with Poppy and trashing remaining camps with Natty, the main spotlight was taken by the Rookwood trial. The whole net of communication was busted, press ran amok, many families suddenly realised they made oopsie-fuckupsies, some of them were purebloods. Fun bit: not the Blacks, the House of Black didn't want to mingle with eh-eh the Continent; they had some too much beef with their French relatives at the time.

Julia's efforts weren't futile, mind, but her perception of them was the cause of her dour mood, nightmares, stay-ups, and it soon became a major concern to Aesop.

At this point of their story, their relationship wasn't yet mentor & mentee but a trust between someone who is lost and someone who knows how to escape. Aesop had a dangerous amount of influence over her, and that he was in her shoes once after Thea, his partner, died, did help to navigate her trauma, although he could only do so much at the sight of the wound that needed time to heal and him to look after it.

No one else knew anything about Julia's family -- something she desperately sought some days -- and her secrets weren't known to many people able to assess the gravity of her situation and give her pointers in life. I.e., what to do with that ancient magic, what's here it for her after the school is over for the summer, what the Ministry expects of her. So basically, at that time, he was a confidante to her.

If Aesop hadn't left to office, he would've been working with trainees and recruits. Moreover, he knows all too well how tempting a thought of casting a spell to resolve a trouble in an augenblick can be. But he would've been able to give feedback and pointers, to explain the scary bits, and to teach how to ignore the wand's urge to cast. Julia, however, was nor a trainee, neither a recruit; she was his charge in some sense and each of his advice she wouldn't be quick to assess or to reflect on it. She would disregard or adopt it with little to no thoughts. He also didn't have many ideas on how to look after a troubled, dependent kid with a responsibility that couldn't be easily detached from her.

Fig had far more experience and patience in such matters. After all, he was a teacher and Aesop was a coach.

It was weirdly common for Julia to end up with so much on her plate, she honestly needed a divine intervention or a thaumaturgy to be removed from so much troubles, many of which weren't even the direct consequences for her own actions. She was usually thrown into something and expected to survive and resolve the issue of someone else's nefarious design existence.

In a sense, she was performing the auror duty, which was admirable, but she wasn't ever compensated for it and was instead taken for granted after certain points in the story.

Aesop feared that would happen and he tried to redirect her attention and it didn't go in vain but, uh. Let's just say, he completely forgot about the certain granian and after its rescue Julia was badly injured by the beast, later placing Aesop on the receiving end of her anger. She thought he was helping her, instead, he deceived her to believe he was a friend, as many people did those days. Yes, she was on the verge of I Did So Much For These People and it halted her well-being.

But Aesop wasn't to give up on her, he has PhD in grief and guilt, no no no, if he dug up that pit, he'd climb it down and retrieve her back to somewhere safe -- which he ended up doing; he became very adamant about You Would Let One Down, You Let Down Every One.

But that's the story for another day and tbh the second part of Julia's 5th year is a certified traumacore, idk why I made it so harsh.

So.

While Julia was cringing backwards and Aesop was an idiot sandwich and everyone in support of Julia trying to butterbeer her to sanity, uh.

Aesop was appalled and enraged after he heard vile rumors people began to spread about Julia. I'm not going into details but due to the press coverage Rookwood case had, some students and then their families soon began to gossip that that muggleborn stole all the praise from Thee True Wizards and Witches that were also involved in the Rookwood's downfall, what a show-off that girl was, where does the Headmaster Black look, what her poor friend Onai makes of such a 'friend', etc etc etc, even Julia's personal life was roasted.

How it ended, briefly: Imelda threw punches, Poppy's gran promised to threw punches in dugbogskin gloves, Garreth said Ron's line from OotP, NATTY DESTROYED EVERY SINGLE RUMOR BITCH, Ominis rumored the gossipers, and Poppy reminded hippogriffs are fierce. 🫵

but as u can imagine, among everything else in the midst of it all, the girl needed a ground check and something to escape to -- and Mara perhaps would've needed to see and settle things for herself (and then probably to set off imelda only to throw spells for punches instead bc how could these people the sheer audacity)

here's a fun question: if Amara was an NPC in the game, what kind of side quest would she have for the MC??

I’ve put much thought into this actually, so this ask was perfect timing!

Basically, as Amara wouldn’t be a werewolf during the events of the game yet, her plotline doesn’t focus on that one bit. I’ve brought it up vaguely in passing before, but I’d actually like for her to be a hidden boss post Ranrok. Because in my canon, she’s the previous Champion, seemingly MIA during your stint in the tournament. Though various NPCS would make comments about her in passing.

There are several things that irk me about this game, one being the lack of consequences and two, the difficulty. The combat is fun but by a certain point it’s mindless. So, in this hypothetical I want Amara to be an actual test of skill, no ancient magic, no curses, no items, no potions. A straight up duel, with her being at the max level cap (40) and only available to duel at normal or hard difficulty.

You’d find her post-Ranrok, in the clock tower where Lucan stands in the daytime. I’ve actually thought about her dialogue up until this point, but nothings finalized. All I know is she says “Let’s dance.” before the duel begins, all smug about it but surprisingly serious.

If you’ve played Undertale, then the best way I can put it, is that it’s a sans-esq fight, meaning it’s supposed to be hard. It’s supposed to catch the player off guard and make them go “??? wtf was that” right from the beginning. I imagine it employs the rhythm technique from the training dummy, with perfect precision.

If you win, through many valiant attempts, you a really cool outfit, which I of course, haven’t decided on yet. Maybe a dope cloak with all sorts of insignia on it, i’ll sort that out later. She also can be spoken to after that, and summoned as a companion via mods. You’d have her respect after that, though she’d still be adament to keep coming back for more, with slight variations upon repeat attempts, to increase replay value (another thing the base game sorely lacks).

In a hypothetical DLC, where I’d guess every character gets some new questlines, she could teach you a new spell. Something questionable probably. Reducto, is my personal go-to.

People are very critical about long COVID/ME/CFS patients not being on diets and it's probably the most fucking annoying ableist thing we have to deal with on a regular basis that people think is totally fine or even helpful.

Preparing homemade food takes a ton of energy. Preparing homemade food to fit a diet takes even more energy and is expensive. Carnivore is one of the most common recommendations and, aside from dieticians practically screaming about how dangerous it is due to the complete lack of vitamins, meat is expensive. Even high protein, low carb diets that aren't as strict still require you to spend quite a bit on protein. Diets like anti-inflammatory, mediterranean, low fodmap, and others that restrict certain types of food are often prohibitively complicated, and many times advice is conflicted on whether things are ok to eat and in what amount. The vast majority of restrictive diets don't come with easy-to-prepare meals unless you have a ton of money to drop on expensive meal kits.

And most importantly, for some of us food is all we have left. Being closed inside for 90% of your life is incredibly boring in a way that's hard to describe. I spend 8-10 hours a day in the same place doing the same things because they're all I can do. Eating something interesting is pretty much the only way I get to add enrichment to my life. Diet is not a cure for us, it only provides mild symptom relief if any. It's just not worth giving up the small sliver of joy that is an "unhealthy" meal when it's not going to actually result in us regaining the ability to do other things that bring us joy.

- I like to think that Pico is kind of into punk rock music/metalhead music but not by a lot . Obviously he isn’t going to judge someone who does listen to them, he isn't a judgmental person. I just think he prefers more rapper style music than anything else but he has listened to at least a few songs of the genre. That being said, he actually thinks you're really badass. Just everything is badass about you. He thinks your way cooler than him in certain ways but he doesn’t really express it because he’s just not that expressive with his emotions.

- He’s honestly really interested in you. Even if he isn’t that much of a metal head or punk rocker himself he’s interested in your opinions about it. He’d be more than willing to just listen to what you like by slyly asking you questions that will lead into the topic, finding ways to subtly hint about it and just hear you just talk your heart out about your favourite artist. Honestly it does put a smile on his face when seeing you rant about it. Even things you don’t like about it he doesn’t mind.

- In terms of your looks with your style is punk rock or metal head he also thinks it’s pretty cool. Though it isn’t his style he thinks you pull it off really well. I mean he really can’t judge since his outfit is kind of basic but regardless he definitely compliments you on yours in his own way but it’s in a way that you can tell that he actually does mean it and isn’t being sarcastic or anything.

- If he ever hears that someone is making fun of you due to your style you can beat he’ll deal with it. He’ll most likely shoot them on sight not even giving a chance to explain or him confronting them. He doesn’t even think about it nor does he care even if he does think about it. If they talk shit about you, boom! A bullet to the head. He just ignores the surprised looks from everyone else if he did it around other people. But if he does do it in front of you he apologizes for it.

- I don’t know why but I like to imagine just the two of you just having a smoke session while zoning out listening to the music the both of you like. I think it’s actually canon that he smokes weed/marijuana so sometimes he just calls you and asks if he can come over to yours then just brings some weed and takes you to smoke. You two don’t even have a conversation. Sometimes you two are so zooted that you forget to talk. I mean some words are uttered here and there but except for that the only noise that can be heard is the music.

- If there was a concert including a band you liked he'd probably find a way to get you a place to go there. It doesn’t really matter if he’s dirt poor even if he has to steal it from someone he will. He just wants to put a smile on your face. If you offer for him to join he’ll act like he doesn’t have much of a choice and agree but honestly he kind of wants to use this as an excuse to hang out with you. Even if it’s something you like and he isn’t that much of a fan of it.

- Adding on to the previous point, if he finds something like an album or merchandise of a said band you like and he knows you don’t have it he’ll get it for you. Again it doesn’t matter if he’s dirt poor and has to steal it. If you want it he’ll get it. Maybe he’ll listen to the album with you or if you suggest it maybe find matching merchandise the two of you can wear that he only wears when hanging out with you or when the two of you are going to a concert. He is kind of bothered if someone teases him about it but if it’s for you he’ll put up with it.

- Overall, he’s actually really supportive of you even if he doesn’t directly show it. He will find his own way to show that he cares about you.

📍In what world does the story take place? 📍

The universe is set in a world where the events of the games and the IDW comics are combined, some things are modified but they are not as relevant. Being an alternative universe, it will have its differences, as well as changes that I, the creator, implemented to avoid making a copy and paste of the original material.

📍Will the other robotic versions and other creations of Eggman appear?📍

Some of the robotic versions derived from Metal Sonic himself are not taken into account for the Canon, these versions would be those that appear in the Archie and Fleetway comics. As well as certain minor games, here is a list of all those that are NOT Canon in the main story.

Another point to clarify is that not all the robots created by Eggman will have an organic (Mobian) or cyborg version, as is the case with Omega, Sigma, Gemerl, among others.

📍Why do Metal and Sonic share memories?📍

The reason why this is possible is because it dates back to the events of Sonic Forces, where Sonic became a prisoner of Eggman thanks to "Infinite", who did a small experiment without Sonic being aware of it as he kept him asleep with a pill (it was so Sonic wouldn't ask him questions and not bother him). The experiment consisted of transferring part of Sonic's memories to Metal Sonic, this was thanks to a helmet that Master Eggman made, he only managed to transfer only a quarter of Sonic's memories into Metal Sonic's Memory Chip. To clarify at that time Metal was still a robot, the connection was not shown until Metal became organic, is not such a strong connection, example.

If Sonic gets sick from a cold, Metal will not affect him, he will not get sick but he may feel discomfort as if he were sick, such as having certain symptoms, as chills and sneezing.

This connection of Metal with Sonic's memories is something important since, since it is not a very strong connection, it can be on more than one occasion, on the edge of the tightrope and the connection breaking up, which would have catastrophic effects if that happens.

⛈️ What are the Sky Endings and Dark Blue Endings? ⚔️

Both are endings within the AU story that happen simultaneously in different circumstances, the reason they are two endings is to see the perspective of how certain things would have ended, how the simplest decisions end up causing greater good or evil even if they are insignificant.

Apart from the fact that I didn't want to leave things with a single ending, it didn't seem like a good thing to me, what better way to imagine this as those games that have more than one ending. I was inspired by Undertale itself with the routes pacifist and genocidal.

⭐ Sky Blue Ending ⛈️

It is a good ending that Metal can have, but not completely, he is not an ally of Sonic, nor is he a hero as expected even if he is far from his creator, it is a bittersweet ending.

⚔️ Dark Blue Ending 🩸

Being a very bad ending where the world is in complete chaos, one that would describe dark, a worse scenario than Master Eggman taking over the world. Where there is no hope and no future is visualized.

THE OTHER ALTERNATE VERSIONS OF THE AU

The fact that alternative versions exist is something quite open and Canon. Although they are not related to the main story, alternative versions do not always have to belong to the universe of origin, an example of this is Metal Archie, which is a very separate universe because the events of Metal Organic take place but in the world of the Archie comics, which will mean that things can change and happen differently.

Simple, the events do not happen within the same world, it was previously explained in which world the events of Metal Organic take place.

It is also the case that there are so-called What If? (what Marvel does). These are stories that happen in the same universe but raise the question: what would have happened if such an event happened but in a different way?

It is because the creator likes these things and there may be few What If stories shown from Metal Organic wo the future.

📍The alternative futures (Sky and Dark Blue Ending), how different are they from the What If stories?

In the latter, the story from the beginning can change completely, being something very different from the original, in the finalys Sky and Dark Blue Ending the title itself says so, it is already an ending that concludes the story, but not does completely change the story, but rather the how hes concludes it.

EXTRA NOTES 📝

The interactions of the characters in the answers to the questions asked to the AU do not happen canonically, it is only a hypothetical interaction of how the interaction between certain characters could happen if they met. There are things that can happen canonically but not in the way that can be shown in the answers, nothing is what it seems.

If you are someone who has seen the publications from 2021 to 2022, the drawings such as the information in said publications are no longer completely Canon, the creation of this publication was made to make the information clearer, also to clarify certain points that some others they do not can understand.

Because this is an alternative universe, there may be new characters that are not found in the games and comics, there may be certain inspirations but only that, they will appear at specific times and will not be recurring or central unless the creator says otherwise.

If you expect certain events to focus on Sonic and company, I must inform you that this will not happen, they are not the important focus, they become something secondary that complements the story.

Not all of the creator's drawings (scribbles, drafts, etc.) are canon content, it is simply content that the creator creates for artistic taste, unless it is something canon, the creator will clarify it.

The chronology is based on the creator's own perspective so don't expect it to be the same chronology as the games/comics are theorized to follow or as some fans say.

Any suggestion of what the story should be like or changes to it, with all due respect, will be denied, this story has already been written from start to finish since 2023, if there are changes will that be at the discretion of the creator.

It is possible that the story is aimed at an audience between 17 and over 27 years old, for a better reference a shonen combined with touches of seinen.

It's just a single artist drawing and writing the content of this AU as story, because he draws on the phone there may be errors in the art, so excuse the quality, don't expect him to be totally professional but he does his best, the reason he does all this is out of love for the Sonic franchise, being the product of a fan created for fans.

Fanarts and other things can be done with the AU characters, as long as credits are given and it is not controversial.

The creator can be very forgetful, so if he overlooks something, it is not done on purpose, he will clarify it at the time.

- he's very concerned about your wellbeing, though; similarly to MK, he'll be worried that you aren't sleeping properly, or that you lack the proper vitamins that you need.

- prepare to be bombarded with questioning when you wake up.

- listen,, he just wants to be certain that you're okay <//3

- will scold you if you're sleeping somewhere public,, like if he ACTUALLY found you in a mf'ing gutter, he'd lose his temper a little, "You could've fallen into the Spider Queen's lair! And you're clothes are all dirty—you don't know what's touched the gutter!"

- after a while, he'll start keeping a closer eye on you, and checking up on you in case you've put yourself in danger.

- but, the times he finds you in safer places, like in Pigsy's Noodles or in his own house, and he's a lot calmer about it.

- call him weird for it, but he likes to stare at you as you sleep; you look so peaceful, and he adores the little expressions you unconsciously make.

- if he's been in his workshop all day, where you've kept him company off to the side, and he turns around about to call it quits for the evening and you're asleep?

- he might give in to the possibility of cuddles.

- ONLY at times like these, though; he's got a reputation to keep up as the Demon Bull King's son, and he can't be caught slacking like that ❌❌

- either way, he'll sneak a kiss on your head, though.

- if anyone catches him doing it and points it out, he'll fluster SO BADLY and nearly drop you.

- cue him yelling, causing you to stir, and shutting himself up in fear of waking you.

- but he's reluctant to—Red Son hesitates with PDA in general, he's going to be very unsure about any sort of cuddling.

- he's very warm, given that he's a fire demon, and it is WONDERFUL for winter, horrible for summer.

- you'll wake up hot and sweaty in the worst ways, but you'll fall asleep like a baby.

With a sigh and a wipe to his forehead to rid it of a buildup of sweat, Red Son admired his work. He had spent all day tinkering in his workshop, busy on producing a vehicle to counter the Monkey King's little successor.

As much as he cherished inventing as a hobby and a skill, without you to keep him company, he'd definitely be far from completing it; easily growing bored when working on the same part for hours. Your wilful chattering and teases were keeping him sane, albeit that he constantly comments that it 'distracts' him.

Speaking of you, he realised that you hadn't spoken a word for the past ten minutes. Whilst you may have simply gotten distracted by another of his creations, he knew you well-enough to be doubting the chances of him turning around to you being anything but conscious.

And, as expected, he whipped his head around from where his back was facing you, attention caught on closed eyes and light breaths.

Lo and behold, your body—on the floor, curled up around the leg of a chair that he kept down here on the, not unusual, occasions that you would join him. The position didn't seem particularly... Uncomfortable, as your head was supported by the cushioned seat of the chair, but Red Son couldn't imagine that the concrete floor would be as soft.

Whilst tutting at your state, he stepped towards you. Leaning down, Red Son wrapped his arms under your legs and across your back, supporting your head in the crook of his neck. He couldn't lie; he loved carrying you, it boosted his ego to hold you like the innocent mortal you were.

He briefly gave a light kiss to your forehead, smiling down at your peaceful expression and holding back coos at the quiet snores you let out. He continued to the door, pushing in open with his foot and electing to finish up and close it later on. He had more pressing matters to attend to, at the moment: you.

You, who had softened his heart enough to lead to him carrying you towards his own bedroom with the intent of sneaking a cuddle in with you. A light blush dusted his cheeks, somewhat embarrassed at the prospect of snuggling to you whilst you were already asleep.

It wasn't as if you hadn't consented to it; countless times had you awoken, playfully scolding Red Son for not cuddling up to you to 'keep you warm', or to 'protect you from the bed bugs'.

Therefore, as he gently placed you atop his mattress, stealing another kiss from your forehead, he moved to the opposite side and pushed himself close to you. Red Son pulled the blanket up, ensuring the both of you were equally covered and that you seemed comfortable enough.

His face only grew hotter; carefully gathering you in his arms. Unconsciously, you grasped his shirt in your sleep, shortening the distance between your bodies until he was pressed up against you. He barely held himself back from stuttering at you.

Accepting his fate, albeit never planning on rejecting it, Red Son wrapped his arm over your side and felt you nuzzle your face into his chest. The exhaustion he felt from his hard work, matched with the peacefulness you seemed to radiate, he, too, found himself drifting to sleep. With red cheeks and a genuine lift of his lips, Red Son slipped out of consciousness with you in his arms.

okay, well, he changed the bodywork and hubcaps too, so this makes sense. but black? for aziraphale? feels somewhat like it's a compromise; he's gone ostentatious on the outside, literally the colour of crowley's eyes, but red leather for the interior... is a little much. so he compromises - keeps the decals (to honour his knight in turtleneck armour), but changes the inside to a cool, suave black. very 007.

but then we go to ep4, and specifically when aziraphale is accosted by shax. now, clear point to remember - shax has to have permission to enter, and compared to ep2 when she asks but materialises inside anyway, she now waits for aziraphale to acquiesce. this is the difference between a demon's car, and a demon-and-angel-couple-who-arent-quite-yet-a-couple-but-thats-just-semantics' car. by this point, crowley has accepted, agreed, that it is their car.

now i know there's the whole separate thing about the exterior changing from light grey to dark grey/black, but tbh i think that is going to be down to the continuity issue with the original bentley used in s1. as for neil's answers on his asks, here and here... look. could be something of nothing, but i don't think personally it's a wider conspiracy; i think it could be just be either that yeah, maybe some of my colour assignments in the above screenshots are wrong, or he's doing his parent-teacher-writing thing of what do you think?

maybe not, maybe it was a continuity issue, and we just have to apply hc to this to get an explanation.

well, mine is just simply that it's not a nefarious issue or mucking about with time etc... i think crowley just accepted aziraphale's ownership, and whilst he drew the line at yellow bodywork (the respectable choice imo, tbh), he kept everything else.

🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?

When the most softhearted character is suddenly revealed to be the most dangerous because someone they love has just been threatened/hurt. 💯👀👌🏻 Also when a character hasn't been treated well, so they have low expectations for how they expect someone new in their life to treat them, and then they're surprised and a little confused when that person treats them the way they deserve to be treated. Especially in the case of a character who's been subjected to violence, and now finally someone is being gentle with them. That stuff takes me OUT.

“Don’t sweat it. I know you have good intentions.” Glancing at H.R., [Cisco] added a little reluctantly, “Both of you.” H.R. grinned and gave a little self-satisfied flourish. “The road to hell isn’t gonna pave itself,” he said cheerily.

H.R. was a blast to write for in general, but this line in particular I just really love.

I'm good at using continuity to my advantage. A lot of the time that means subtly referencing something that happened earlier (either in the source material or my own writing), and using that earlier event to determine how a character is going to react to something similar in the present, but it's also really handy with foreshadowing and creating running gags.

🍦 What’s the sweetest fic you’ve created so far?

Probably Nights That Never End. Granted, it's not finished yet, but the one chapter I have posted is loaded with fluff, there's just a lot of angst mixed in with it (and there's plenty more of both in the chapters to come).

❌ What’s a trope you will never write?

Any trope that specifically belongs to smut/fetish/kink categories, but that's a given because all that stuff squicks me out. I don't see myself writing anything gender bending either, just because it holds no interest for me and I don't really see the point in it. Also, cheating. Cheating can be a thing that happens in a story, and It Is Going To Be Frowned Upon, but I'm not going to write a full blown cheating storyline unless A) the cheater is a character I don't like who already did, or at least would, cheat in canon, and B) the POV character is the one who was cheated on, and They Are Breaking Up. I won't write a cheating storyline for any of my ships, and I won't turn a character who wouldn't cheat into someone who would just to give their partner a reason to break up with them.

🤡 What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?

I don't think I'm a very good comedy writer, but the scene at the end of "A New Heart" about Ikkaku's recruitment features a silly ending that makes me smile: Ikkaku is running toward the Tang to leave with the Hearts while being chased by her parents and some other townspeople before Law uses his devil fruit to bring her onboard while causing a pileup of the people chasing her. Definitely a bit sillier than I usually write!

😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?

I can't say I'm specifically being playfully mean to the readers and more just mean to the characters, but the scene that comes to mind is the one in "Lead Me Back to Suffering" where Doflamingo uses a string clone of Luffy to make Law think he's being rescued before killing the clone in front of him. I apologized for that chapter in the author's note XD

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

Definitely Law whump and the twisted, toxic, codependent relationship between Law and Doflamingo. Absolutely obsessed, haha.

I also have a few headcanons and repeated scenes that I've included in several fics; one is Law and Luffy sitting on the roof of Kyros's cabin after Dressrosa stargazing together. I also headcanon that Law started his coin collection with some coins from Flevance that he had in his pocket the night the city fell and have included that idea in several fics.

✅ What's something that appears in your fics over and over and over again, even if you don't mean to?

Hm. I'm sure there are certain turns of phrase that I use quite a bit, though I couldn't say what they are off the top of my head. I'd be curious if anyone else has noticed anything that sticks out, though.

I couldn't even say. It's just in my blood, I suppose. I've wanted to be a writer since I was a tiny little bookworm, and I've been writing my own stories since elementary school--and probably before, tbh. I've been writing fic since I was like 13. 💔Is there a fic of yours that broke your heart?

Not really to an extreme. But indirectly speaking, I’ll say New Year’s Day (damn, I think this is the first time I’ve talked about this one!)

So, kinda spoilers, but in the episode Christmas, Dash, recognizing Lily as the girl he met at the party, sees her kissing another guy. After accidentally finding out that Boomer was a double agent over the course of the notebook game behind his back, he lashed out at him. Given the intended primary plotline of New Year’s Eve, Dash and Boomer didn’t really get much of a moment to reconcile their differences, since Dash’s main objective in the episode was to go all out for Lily, with a little help from his friends. And I did allude to those two episodes a bit in this story, so technically speaking, revisiting those memories, of our main characters’ lowest points, was kinda crushing, so I feel that the two guys deserved some kinda moment where they talked things out, with Dash apologizing for taking out his frustrations out on Boomer on Christmas, and Boomer explaining his reasoning for hanging out with their friends while Dash went AWOL for six days.

So to summarize, the fic itself isn’t heartbreaking, but a few key moments in the last two episodes that inspire it kinda are.

👀Tell me about an up and coming WIP, please!

Well, the story I’m currently working (honestly the only WIP I have going) is a story revolving around the 10 kids (yes, May and June included) having a game night. This story will be set a few years in the future, hence why certain aspects are in the story that wouldn’t really be present if they were the age they were during the show.

222 is absolutely opposite to their "civilian" form, being lackadaisical about far too many things for their own good. They hardly ever take anything seriously, even down to an argument that could mean life or death. They're very quick to judge others, but they couldn't care less about judgment cast their own way.

When it comes down to it, they will openly and brazenly speak their mind. Even if it means making a few enemies along the way. They have before and will again, a life spent alone has left them uncaring in regards to others' feelings, especially when those feelings are in regard to them.

They get conflicted when anybody feels positively or even neutrally  toward them, almost seeking to destroy any budding relationship of any kind before the person can inevitably become disappointed doing their own trials and research. They proudly claim to be among the refuse of society, but they can genuinely be a kind and loyal individual. If you stick around long enough, you would get something other than sarcastic quips and verbal low blows.

something your muse struggles with: Empathy, they weren't raised with the best values (Or any at all, really), so they struggle greatly in trying to relate to most people. Especially given their unique circumstances.

your muse’s greatest strength: Independence, they had to utilize a lot of it from even their youngest adolescent years. If there's anything they can do, it's brave a storm alone.

history / background: 

Rembrandt grew up a very troubled individual. Until the age of 12, they suffered through what hindsight can only identify as neglect and abuse. Yet somehow, some way, they felt a certain guilt that came with wanting to be apart from the parents who hardly even gave them a second glance.

To their parents, Rembrandt was simply a cash cow. Their one and only prodigal child, blessed with an affinity for anything musical. Though per their parents' request, they settled on pursuing a career as a pianist. For years, they trained under the watchful gaze of tutors and teachers and vagabonds alike, all of whom vost a pretty penny. Yet, they sustained the lifestyle and more using funds won from competitions, orchestral performances, and even playing for large events like weddings or funerals.

Having been exposed to so much yet entirely homeschooled with all focus put into music, Rembrandt grew up with no friends to call their own. The hired help throughout the house only existed to serve their paid purpose of preventing them harm, and even that was something that slipped by them every now and again. Every meal, every outfit, every minute and hour were all spent under the watch of their caretakers. Never their parents, unless it was to receive punishment or verbal abuse for messing up a performance, or falling behind in lessons, or even so much as getting distracted by a bug.

After years of being held under every thumb imaginable and watched at every move, they saw an opportunity and took it. Mere hours after their 12th birthday "celebration", everyone was caught up with the festivities in the manor's courtyard. Everyone but Rembrandt and their father, who was really giving it to them this time for "embarrassing the family." They were told to think about what they'd done, sent to their room while their father went back to "smooth things over."

⚠️BIGGER TRIGGERS UP AHEAD⚠️

For the first time they could ever think of, they were completely and entirely alone. The kitchen was on the way back to their room, and even just walking a few steps alone left them unsure. The kitchen was busy, it was messy, and the personal chef's yelling certainly wasn't keeping anybody else calm or collected. Who was going to notice a child walking right in? Let alone right up to the lit stovetop? Let alone smack dab in front of a pot of boiling water?

The glazing over of their eyes wasn't something they remembered more acutely than the sensation of burning their hands in boiling water. They didn't remember exactly how long their hands were in there, or when they'd started screaming, but the doctors said it was long enough. Their hands would be entirely unusable for the foreseeable future, and that meant losing out on money for their parents.

Getting an earful in a hospital was no joke, nor was it any less embarrassing to see their parents kicked out over it. There was still a numbness to their mind, a fog ever present as they lay there in pain. Was this it? Was this what they were resigned to? Over and over and over again? Nothing felt fair anymore, and their thoughts brewed almost as violently as the storm outside.

Outside…where nothing could be worse than it already was in here.

So to the outside they went.

A high mph wind and gust alert was beyond them, but it was issued regardless. As far as the family is aware, Rembrandt Mateo Howell went missing at 2:22AM from the Sun Plaza Hospital Urgent Care, a missing report was filed immediately. They were never found, however.

A wish was made that very night they'd run away, a wish offered to them in a time of dire need. At the disposal of nature, one can only avoid whipping foliage and flying debris for so long. All it took was one wrong place at the wrong time for a full tree to nearly make contact with Rembrandt. It doesn't, though.

The wish offered to Rembrandt ended up saving their life. Not only this, but the beast within the medium through which they were contacted ended up having more to offer than just saving their life. It would save AND secure them. They had free reign over their powers and what they would look like, unknowingly at the cost of separating their soul from their physical body.

It took some getting used to, but the wish for freedom left Rembrandt completely untethered. In fact, it left them an entirely new person. The confidence behind this superpowered persona gave an unheard 12-year-old far too much ego. They quickly fell in love with their freedom, the new, nearly limitless bounds of traveling and being uncatchable by universal law. 

Each day leading into their teen years was spent like it might be their last, a feat most people wouldn't even have the thoughts to pursue. They had the power and the time, though, and while they acted like a stereotypical superhero at first, it became self indulgent the older they got. They got more bold, and they continued to go unchecked.

They became a petty thief, at first, but after realizing nobody could stop the way they moved with their powers…it quickly became grand scale, stealing from bars and dealers to get drunk or high. Nothing ever topped that once-in-a-lifetime moment when they were first saved. Given new resilience through a strengthened shell of a body, they continued to chase inebriation or highs like their life depended on it. Up until this point, it hadn't, but now? It depends on it more than ever.

Now at the age of 22, they're deep into needing substances daily to function, but as far as they can remember…this is how 222 has always been, always will be, and once they die is when they're truly free. Until then, they live as dangerously and recklessly as possible to put an end to the mental anguish, all behind the facade of cool and uncaring.

I seem to write about chickens, gardens, and New York City a lot. I have never owned a chicken as a pet. I've only been to NYC once, when I was 13. But I do try to visit gardens as often as I can. I have so many I've scrapped in my head. I do have some docs and drafts with scrapped TCV installments. One fic I scrapped after a few thousand words was one where J2 were in San Francisco in around 1904, two years before the earthquake. Another one I scrapped was an arranged marriage one. It was a/b/o, but I didn't really like it. Patrons will likely remember a fic about android!Jared and mechanic!Jensen. I started that and unfortunately scrapped it when I couldn't solve the mystery of consent from an android.

Oh... I'm torn between Photo Op and "Minutes Past Midnight." Photo Op boys are just so into each other. MPM boys are just so sweet and tender. I'm trying to think of a smaller one shot that I've written that is pure sweetness, but none come to mind right now. Hmm.

I sure do! I am pleased that I've written 3 Christmas-themed fics in the past 4 or 5 years. And this year, I wrote a witchy!J2 fic that Patrons voted on for Halloween. My favorite holiday inspired fic? Gosh, let's see... I think I'm always gonna have a soft spot for "The Tamale Commission."

Oh, that's gotta be "It Takes a lot of Water." That is just punch after punch of feels and hurt with often very little comfort. It's my only fic to reach 150,000 words and it will always have a special place in my heart.

- Bowser is very interested in your work and how you're able to make pretty much any weapons no matter what. He’s surprised that he could just tell you what he wants to defeat Mario and you’ll just follow what he does and make it in however long it’ll take to make it. As I said before he’s surprised however he’s also kind of concerned that you're not taking care of yourself in between these creations. Despite being a villain whose only goal is to get the princess when it comes to his own beings like bowser jr, the koopalings and whoever is close to him he cares deeply for them and would do anything to make sure that they are ok.

- Adding on from the previous point, if he does find out that you're not taking care of yourself and mostly focusing on creating new weapons he’ll order you to stop. I can imagine him picking you up like it was nothing and placing you somewhere where you can relax. He’ll make his other people like kamek to give you stuff and make sure that you're actually relaxing and not trying to sneak off.

- Speaking of Kamek, I can imagine you being in constant communication with his other henchmen like the koopalings and junior since people Roy use weapons as well. Due to this you’ll probably have a close friendship with them mostly with Iggy and Roy. For iggy I have a headcanon he has a massive interest in science/biology so of course you two are going to be close. You two often exchange stuff about certain topics and Iggy constantly tells you about new weapons you can create. Even asking for the blueprints of the weapons/creation you make, that's how interested he is in them. As for Roy you were the one who created his bullet launcher thing (or whatever it’s called) and honestly he was impressed with it. He definitely likes to rely on you if anything happens to it or if he wants an upgrade done to it.

- For Bowser Jr you also have close communications with him due to him obviously being bowser’s son and you constantly giving bowser new weapons he can use and with junior being a child or at least having the personality/behavior of a child of course he’s going to get curious and would like you to make him some weapons of his own just like his father. Of course you do it for him with the bowser's permission of course and build him weapons of his own. Maybe not as great as his father but still good enough that he would be happy with the results and of course he is happy with the results. He pretty much runs up to you and hugs you tight like he just received the best thing in the world and immediately goes and uses it.

- Due to your job you're obviously going to have to be close with bowser because he has to communicate to you about the weapons he wants and you have to communicate to him to see if he likes the weapons. As mentioned in the first two points he does care for you and wants to make sure that you don’t overwork yourself. If you ever have points in time when you are doubting about the things you’ve created or ever thinking you're not good enough to work for someone like him he will assure that you're doing great and that he doesn’t regret picking you for assembling his weapons. Even if there was a time that your weapons didn’t work to the extent you wanted to, he isn't going to blame you for those malfunctions and he’ll tell you that there will be a time when these things happen.

- If there were some people/koopa’s blaming you for the failure of the weapons you know damn well he’ll be doing something about them. He’s definitely not going to let one of his assistants be looked down upon and being blamed for something that couldn’t be helped. He doesn’t have a problem teaching them a lesson in order for them to leave you alone and if he sees you being affected by these comments after dealing with said person/koopa as said before he’ll assure you that you’ve done nothing wrong and you did your best.

- Overall, despite what he is known for he’s definitely way better than what he has been described by and can overall be seen as some sort of father figure almost.

• LIL BACKGROUND: I’ve known this man for about month and had him telling me “i love you” before we were even intimate 💁🏼‍♀️ I seen a few red flags but whos looking 🛑 I should of been. So, Ive been harmed by people Ive trusted in a way that has made me not like certain things sexually. Dianna here has a kink of slapping *on the face when intimate. I DO NOT. We had a discussion about it with no “end” understanding. I don’t mind questions I LOVE TO TALK ABOUT MY JOURNEY OF LIFE. If your gonna use it as to degrade me I loose that feeling safe with you. Within that discussion I had verbalize “If this was the breaking point then so be it because if someone “loves” you they will respect a way that you feel especially in a SAFE space like intimacy. I know I didn’t love dianna nor did I feel real love from him it was Surface based anytime I talk about why I am this way its was always shut down. I have BPD and I do not take medication because for the most part besides the “weirdness; disassociation, overstimulation, flashbacks, constant mind race/overthinking & constantly needing reassurance so I can shut my head off” I can control myself VERY WELL when it comes to my angry or letting people walk out of my life. I have a very hard time when it comes to being degraded. I at times already feel low so when other people REALLY tell me how they feel its like confirmation for my brain which HURTS. So many. So so many. You would not believe the amount of scrapped or unfinished pieces that I've got in my drafts. Definitely more than what has been posted here for SURE.

Yeah, I'm fairly open about it with my closest friends (who do like to clown on me for being a genshin impact fan and an anime boy enjoyer etc etc (all in good fun tho)) though I wouldn't tell them the name of my blog. My boyfriend knows of course, he often gets early admission to ideas and brainrots and drafts and access to the fics I'd never post online :3

💖 What made you start writing?

Not a point of bragging but I've always had a bit of a knack for writing, so as I began to fall behind in other subjects I kind of threw myself more into writing - a lot of it came about for coping reasons, just me seeking to make things that could comfort me when I was feeling down, ways to get certain ideas to stop rolling around in my head so much, or even ways to help me process things I was going through at big times in my life (even if I didn't realise it at the time - there are some fics I go back and read and realise ive unintentionally been mirroring real life things that were happening to me during that time).

I also am just a sort of. creative person in general, I do a lot of visual art but I find it takes a lot of spoons and mental energy that I just don't always have - I've been slowly learning to take more pride in my writing and the way it has improved over the years - sometimes I struggle to see my own writing as a 'valid' piece of art because I just... I find it almost... easy, if that makes sense? It takes less spoons and often feels like less thought so my brain kind of goes "ah yes I'm somehow cheating at this" and refuses to see it as a Real Piece of Media I Created. But I've been getting better!! So yeah I think I've always been a bit of a writer but I only really started getting into it around high school, and I only started posting it online super recently (this blog is the first time ive ever shared my writing with a wider audience!)

Honestly? There's genuinely not much i won't write. If I can find a way to spin it that'll get the brain juice flowing, I'm set. There are certain things I'd write that I'd never post, but that's a different kettle of fish entirely (thats such a strange phrase to me jkahsfd)

🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?

Childe and Itto are SO Fun to write, Childe for his general unhinged-ness, and Itto for his dialogue and himbo tendencies !! I'm enjoying writing Diavolo from om! for the same reasons honestly.

🎉 What leads you to consider a fic a success?

I like to clown to my bf about the notes and numbers and the like, like I'll say things like "oh damn tumblr is thirsty for diluc and not itto, how sad" but honestly numbers aren't something that phase me much - i think there are a few different aspects in which I feel like a fic of mine can be successful

The writing process - If i had fun writing it, thinking about it, and/or feel better/lighter for having written it, then it's a success in that aspect

Feedback - i try not to let too much hinge on this since it's such a finicky aspect but like. If i get positive feedback and comments on a piece, rest assured I've read every one about three times over. It makes me so happy to see others engage in my content, and to have people say things like "i needed this today" or "this made me smile" means more than any of you will ever ever know - writing is a source of comfort to me, and the fact that i'm able to share it and bring comfort to others as well is just. it makes me so so happy.

⌛ How long does it take you to write a fic, or a chapter?

Really depends on the inspiration level and how I'm rotating the ideas around in my brain - some pieces I can get the idea, then have it started and finished within one sitting, others I need some time to kind of sit on before a scenario comes to me. If it's something I'm particularly inspired for I can reach well over 1k words an hour. I don't really edit or proofread the pieces I post either, I just hit send and hope for the best (I've definitely come back to a piece weeks later to realise there's been a typo in it the whole time, oops)
