#who's holding the remote? the devs? or YOU? 🫵#very likely You.#because the devs certainly did not knock on my door (inbox) and shove this image in my face #i only noticed upon repeated viewings (and after my blinding rage subsided) that yakublob doesn't have legs like the other blobs #makes sense. snake blob. legs melted into the floor from anxiety and stress. sounds about right.#but to then give the tail blob a mermaid lingerie version??#is this the mermaid yakumo we were robbed of #when i said i wanted him in beast form or slutty fish form or at least in a summery dress (as is appropriate for the island's climate)#and they gave him a... complicated bone tank top (acceptable. the sluttiest he's been in a while tbh)#but months later they barge into my home with THIS/#?! THE TRUE MERMAID YAKUMO IS IN THE ORB UNIVERSE?#WTF!!!! HIS SEASHELL BIKINI??????#a clam had to die for that. really frustrated at this work in progress lol- posting it so y’all see that I too have lousy art days lol!

I usually just post stuff I’m proud of here, but just so ya know I’ve got a million WIPs just like this that I’m mad at and struggling with. I guess my point is- fellow artists, don’t beat yourselves up about bad art days lol. They happen to all of us, yk?

and they suck

(Best advice is, obviously, to keep going. Art, especially portraits, tends to have an “ugly” phase. But damn, it is HARD to keep goin’ sometimes 🥲)

Where DID Grubba find the Crystal Star that he's been using for supposed decades?

Simple. He STOLE it. But the guy he stole it from deserved it, honest.

Meet Auric Rex, the latest in a long line of "golden dragons" that can trace their lineage all the way back to the Cataclysm of Rogueport. Auric, like any self-respecting dragon, hoards both money and talent. When a bold new fighter named "Macho" Grubba first broke through the Minor Leagues and became a minor sensation, Auric immediately decided to milk it for all it's worth and signed Grubba up on seemingly infinite merchandising deals.

At a young age, Grubba was placed in makeup chairs, put on special diets so he wouldn't "get too chubby", and told over and over that eventually his star was going to burn out and every last one of his fans was going to forget who he was so hey, better make the most of it in the short time he has left, Champ. And thus began a cycle of exploitation.

Grubba would eventually snap from the pressure, reveal that he performed the ol' switcheroo on Auric's family relic and that Auric's been guarding a glass replica all this time, turn into a powerful orange monster in Auric's office as a final "Eff You", and then smash a desk across his head. And then Auric did the funny accordion thing when you flatten Rexes in Super Mario World.

taylor was so real for saying “AND I HOPE ITS SHITTY IN THE BLACK DOG” because the black dog is a symbolic of her depression and her grief and the memories that are haunting her and she’s screaming at this person who hurt her that they’re just as affected. that when they’re trying to move on they’re just and pained by their breakup to enjoy it and they’re forced to remember her and hurting her or being hurt by her and hoping that even after they’ve parted ways they’re still together on the same page in moving on even though that they broke up because they weren’t on the same page and he didn’t even notice her still have access to his “find my friends” location

#martzipan #nagito komaeda #i was GONNA play around with other species but csp and my tablet decided to collaborate on debilitating lag #it was so bad. there was like a half second of input delay. it was so so bad #idk what's going on with that. but i sure as hell wasn't gonna keep drawing with that #so i finished/colored these n then. was done #leucism is the friend of anyone wanting to anthropomorphize komaeda. any beast can be pale now #if he were to be a canine he'd be some fucked up desert dog for SUREEEE #maned wolves fit that. plus they have those WILDDD limbs and naturally keep their tails basically tucked between their legs #incredibly komaeda-coded animal #honestly shoulda made the limbs even longer. exaggeration weee #was gonna play with a hare and a possible hyena and maybe even a secretary bird...#maybe even try to assign hinata some animals if i had the energy..#but alas. tablet said Fucka You and i was not gonna learn to anthropomorphize that many animals with lag that bad.
