the evening air clung to your skin as you stepped out of the restaurant, the weight of the conversation settling in your chest like an old, familiar ache. beom taeha followed a step behind, his presence looming but silent, his mind likely still turning over your words.
"need a ride?" he asked, voice lighter than it should be, as if the last twenty minutes hadn’t just rewritten the rules of your already fractured relationship.
"no," you replied smoothly, fishing your phone from your purse. "i’ll manage."
his eyes flicked to your screen as you pulled up a ride service, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "how romantic. ditching your fake boyfriend before the act even starts?"
"we’ll have our moment," you said dryly. "no need to start now."
taeha chuckled, shoving his hands into his pockets as he rocked back on his heels. "fine. but don’t get yourself kidnapped before the big show, princess."
his words were teasing, but the warning was real. the kind of caution that only came from knowing exactly how dangerous your world could be.
"same to you," you murmured, just as a sleek black car rolled up to the curb. you slid inside without another word, the tinted windows swallowing you whole as the driver pulled away from the restaurant.
as soon as you stepped inside the car and told the driver your address, your phone buzzed.
taeha.
[don’t wear beige. too predictable.]
you huffed a quiet laugh, shaking your head. of course, he’d make this about aesthetics.
you didn’t reply. instead, you tossed your phone into your purse and exhaled loudly. tonight, you just needed to sleep—if your mind would let you.
-
when morning came, you weren’t given the luxury of easing into the day. your grandfather’s name flashed across your screen before the sun had fully risen.
you took a breath before answering.
"yes, grandpa?"
"i heard an interesting rumor last night." his voice was sharp, the kind of sharp that cut straight through pleasantries. "something about you and that beom boy rekindling an old flame."
"interesting rumor indeed," you said evenly. "maybe you should ask taeha about it."
"oh, i intend to," your grandfather replied. "but i’d rather hear it from you first. is this a stunt? or are you actually foolish enough to bring that family back into our business?"
"if i was foolish, i wouldn’t still be standing, would i?" you countered, gripping the phone tighter. "i know what i’m doing."
there was a long pause. then a soft exhale. "you always do."
that was the closest thing to approval you would get.
"i hope you’re right about him," your grandfather added. "because if you’re wrong, you won’t have to worry about the kim family anymore."
he hung up before you could reply.
you stared at the screen for a moment before tossing the phone aside. there was no turning back now.
the rest of the morning passed in a blur of calculated tasks. you spent an hour finalizing work, responding to messages that had nothing to do with your upcoming date. the weight of your grandfather’s words still lingered in the back of your mind, but you pushed them aside, focusing on the preparation ahead.
by the time late afternoon rolled around, you stood in front of your closet, eyeing the options spread before you. no beige. something unpredictable.
you settled on a deep emerald-green satin dress—sleeveless, with a delicate drape at the neckline that fell effortlessly against your skin. it was elegant but not ostentatious, a color that commanded attention without screaming for it. over it, you threw a tailored black blazer, structured and sharp, adding a hint of restraint to the otherwise fluid silhouette. your heels were a sleek black, pointed and high enough to remind the world you were never one to shrink away.
your hair cascaded in soft waves, falling just past your shoulders, the natural movement adding to the effortless grace you wanted to exude. your makeup was subtle—dewy skin, a soft brown smokey eye, and lips painted a deep rose, enough to accentuate without overpowering.
by the time you finished, the sound of a car engine idling outside told you taeha had arrived.
you took one last glance in the mirror before grabbing your purse and heading out the door.
taeha had texted you the time he was going to pick you up earlier that day. you were impressed by his commitment.
taeha leaned against the driver’s side door of a sleek black car, his gaze sweeping over you as you approached. his eyes lingered a moment too long, though he masked it well with a small smirk.
"acceptable," he mused, reaching out to open the passenger door for you.
"high praise," you quipped, sliding inside.
he joined you, the car’s interior dimly lit by the city’s early evening glow as he pulled out onto the street. the ride was smooth, silent save for the faint hum of the engine. he tapped the controls on the dashboard, adjusting the navigation for their first stop—the location where the cameras had been arranged to capture their date, setting the perfect alibi.
as taeha drove, the soft hum of the engine filled the space between you, an almost comfortable silence settling in. the city stretched out beyond the tinted windows, neon lights flickering past in muted flashes.
you could feel him watching you, even as he pretended to focus on the road ahead.
"so," he finally said, voice as smooth as the leather interior. "any particular reason you look like you’re on a mission instead of a date?"
you smirked, adjusting the sleeve of your blazer. "i thought we agreed on unpredictable. would you rather i show up in some dainty dress, batting my lashes at you like some lovesick fool?"
taeha scoffed, one hand resting casually on the wheel. "please. we both know you’d rather set yourself on fire than act like that."
"exactly."
a flicker of amusement crossed his face, but it was short-lived. his fingers drummed against the wheel, a restless habit you remembered well.
"so, this place," he said, changing the subject. "the cameras are already set up?"
you nodded. "a few angles, strategically placed. enough for them to see us being ‘sincere’ but nothing invasive. we just need to give them something believable."
"shouldn’t be hard," he murmured, glancing at you with something unreadable in his gaze.
you stared out the window, watching the city lights blur into streaks of color, but your mind was elsewhere. despite your calm exterior, a knot of unease sat heavy in your chest. your grandfather wasn’t someone who made idle threats—when he said you wouldn’t have to worry about the kim family anymore, you knew it wasn’t a mere warning. it was a promise. and that terrified you more than you were willing to admit. you had spent your entire life navigating his world, learning when to push and when to yield, but this time, you weren’t sure how far you could bend before you broke.
still, you refused to let taeha see your fear. you had spent years perfecting the art of looking unshaken, of pretending you always had control. but somehow, deep down, you felt like he would understand anyway. there was a time when you and taeha didn’t need words to know what the other was thinking—when the two of you were the only ones who could make sense of each other’s chaos. those days felt like a lifetime ago, buried under the weight of everything that had changed, but sitting beside him now, with his knuckles still taut around the steering wheel, you wondered if maybe, just maybe, he could still see right through you.
that was some long time ago. now, you only used each other to ease tension on both of your lives.
like right now.
the drive continued in silence, but it wasn’t the comfortable kind. it was heavy, stretched thin by the things neither of you wanted to say. you watched the city blur past, neon signs reflecting against the car windows, but your mind was elsewhere—on the woman whose name had been circling around you like an inevitability.
“so,” you started, your tone casual, but the question was anything but. “are we going to pretend i don’t know what you’ve been up to?”
taeha didn’t react immediately. instead, he tapped his fingers against the wheel, his eyes fixed on the road ahead. “that depends, princess,” he said smoothly. “are we going to pretend you’re not dying to ask?”
you scoffed, shifting slightly in your seat. “i don’t have to ask, taeha. i already know.”
his lips curled into a half-smile, but there was no humor in it. “of course you do. you always do.”
you tilted your head, studying him the way you used to when you were still trying to figure out which parts of him were real and which ones were carefully constructed. “does she know?”
at that, taeha’s jaw tightened.
that was answer enough.
you huffed a quiet laugh. “so that’s a no.”
he didn’t answer right away, but when he did, his voice was laced with something you couldn’t quite place. “she doesn’t need to.”
“right,” you murmured, looking back out the window. “because women love being kept in the dark. very romantic.”
“it’s not like that.”
“not that i care, but i see you are trying to be a better person” you turned back to him, your gaze sharp. “you dress like your father, your brother is back in town and you haven't killed him yet, you tolerate jay all up on your business and you are doing charity on your free time... but you’re not telling her anything, are you?”
he exhaled slowly, as if he was already tired of the conversation. “it's not fucking charity, ryeo”
“it isn't?” your voice was quieter now, but no less pointed. “guess you really don't want to see me again, am i right? not even as a friend?”
taeha glanced at you then, his eyes dark and unreadable. “it’s different.”
you let out a soft laugh, shaking your head. “no, it’s not. it’s the same thing all over again. you are going to hurt the poor woman, leading her to blindness.”
his grip on the wheel tightened. “this isn’t your concern.”
“maybe not,” you admitted. “but you should still listen.”
he didn’t say anything, but you could tell your words had settled somewhere deep, beneath all the layers he refused to peel back.
you sighed, resting your head against the seat. “whatever it is you think you’re doing, be careful. because one day, she’s going to realize what’s happening. and when she does, you better hope she still wants to hear the truth.”
taeha didn’t respond, but the silence that followed was heavy with everything he wasn’t willing to say.
"i know more about her than you think, i'm a ryeo, don't forget".
taeha exhaled sharply, his grip on the wheel loosening just enough to let out his frustration. his eyes flickered toward you for a brief second before returning to the road, his expression unreadable.
“we need to stop fighting,” he said, his voice calm but firm. “we’re supposed to be convincing people, not tearing each other apart before we even walk into the restaurant.”
you raised a brow, tilting your head slightly. “so, now you want us to act like a happy couple?”
“that was the plan, wasn’t it?” he shot back, a hint of irritation lacing his words. “or did you forget why we’re here?”
you scoffed, crossing your arms. “you’re the one getting defensive over haesoo.”
taeha ran a hand through his hair, his patience clearly wearing thin. “i don’t care about your opinion on her.”
“then stop acting like it bothers you,” you countered smoothly.
he inhaled deeply, like he was forcing himself to let the conversation go. after a few beats of silence, his voice was noticeably calmer. “look, we have an image to sell. we need to focus.”
you studied him, noting the slight crease in his brow, the way his lips pressed together like he was holding something back. maybe he was right—arguing about na haesoo wasn’t going to change anything. but the way he was so quick to shut down the conversation told you more than he intended to.
still, you sighed, conceding—for now. “fine. what’s your plan?”
taeha smirked slightly, as if he knew he’d won this round. “we start acting like people who can’t keep their hands off each other.”
you gave him a blank stare. “excuse me?”
“publicly, of course,” he added, his smirk widening. “we have to be convincing. subtle touches, eye contact, maybe even a little jealousy—make it believable.”
you shook your head with a dry laugh. “you’re ridiculous.”
“but i’m right.”
you didn’t argue with that. he was right. for this to work, you had to play your part. still, the thought of pretending to be smitten with him, of playing into something that had once been real, made something twist uncomfortably in your chest.
“alright,” you said, shifting in your seat. “but don’t get carried away, beom taeha.”
his smirk softened into something more unreadable. “same to you, princess.”
the car pulled up to the restaurant, where cameras were already waiting, their flashes flickering in the dark. taeha parked smoothly and turned to you, his gaze scanning your face.
“you ready?”
you exhaled, letting the weight of the act settle over you.
“just let this be over.”
without another word, taeha stepped out and walked around to open your door. and as you took his hand, slipping into the part you both had to play, you felt the world watching.
the ambiance was exactly what you expected: a restaurant elegant but intimate, designed for the kind of high-society couples who wanted to be seen but not overheard.
"reservation under beom," taeha said smoothly to the hostess, his voice laced with the kind of authority that made people move without question.
"right this way, sir," she replied, leading you both toward the private section of the restaurant.
as soon as you were seated, taeha leaned back, studying you across the table. "so," he mused, fingers tracing the rim of his glass, "how affectionate are we supposed to be tonight?"
you arched a brow. "depends. how much do you want your father to not know anything about your new steps on the next few months?"
he chuckled, but there was something behind it—something unreadable in his eyes. he was enjoying this, just a little too much.
before you could say anything else, the waiter arrived, pouring wine into both of your glasses before setting down the menus. as you glanced through the options, taeha reached across the table, brushing his fingers lightly over your wrist.
the touch was calculated, deliberate.
you barely looked up. "you’re really committing to this, huh?"
"you said it yourself," he murmured, his thumb grazing your pulse. "we have to make it believable."
you ignored the way your heart reacted, forcing yourself to stay composed.
"so," you said, setting your menu down and meeting his gaze. "what’s our next move? are we just putting on a show, or are you planning to make your father nervous?"
taeha’s smirk didn’t fade, but his eyes sharpened slightly. "if he thinks i’m serious about you, he’ll hesitate. he knows what happens when i get attached. and he'll give up on na haesoo."
there was something unspoken in his words, something lingering between you.
you tapped a nail against the glass in front of you. "and if he calls our bluff?"
taeha leaned forward slightly, his voice lower now. "then we make sure he doesn’t."
the air between you felt heavier, like the weight of the past had settled in with you at this table.
you weren’t sure if it was the act or something else, but for the first time in a long time, you wondered if either of you really knew where the performance ended and the truth began.
you swirled the wine in your glass, watching the deep red liquid coat the sides before taking a slow sip. “you know,” you mused, setting it down, “if this were a real date, i’d be incredibly bored right now.”
taeha smirked, resting his chin on his hand. “why’s that?”
“because you’re too quiet,” you replied easily. “you don’t ask me about my day, don’t bother to pretend you’re interested in what i’ve been up to. if i didn’t know better, i’d think you’ve already checked my entire schedule before showing up.”
he didn’t deny it.
instead, he let out a low chuckle. “you’d be surprised how much i already know about you.”
you raised a brow. “then tell me something i don’t know.”
taeha leaned forward, twirling the stem of his wine glass between his fingers. “did you know,” he murmured, “that your grandfather and my father met privately two nights ago?”
your fingers stilled against the glass. you kept your expression neutral, but the information sent a slow chill down your spine. “and?”
“and they’re playing the same game we are,” he said, watching you carefully. “except, unlike us, they don’t have to pretend.”
you exhaled, tapping your nails lightly against the table. “so what does that mean for us?”
“it means,” he said, his voice light but laced with something sharper, “that whatever we think we’re doing, they’ve already thought two steps ahead.”
you frowned slightly, thinking it over. your grandfather wasn’t the type to waste time on empty discussions. if he was entertaining taeha’s father, it was because there was something in it for him.
“they’re waiting for us to slip up,” you murmured.
taeha nodded. “or, they’re waiting for us to become a real problem.”
you tilted your head slightly, considering your next words. “then we make sure they keep waiting.”
his lips curled into something almost amused. “you really think we can outplay them?”
you smirked, reaching for your glass again. “don’t we always?”
taeha chuckled, shaking his head as he leaned back in his chair. “i forgot how much you enjoy this.”
“i don’t,” you said, swirling the wine again. “but if i have to be someone’s pawn, i’d rather be the one who decides when the game ends.”
taeha studied you for a moment before lifting his glass. “to making them wait, then.”
you clinked your glass against his, the sound sharp and deliberate, like a silent agreement forged between two people who had spent their entire lives outmaneuvering those who thought they controlled them.
taeha tapped his fingers against the table, a slow, thoughtful rhythm. “you know,” he mused, tilting his head slightly, “i was wondering why you went off the grid for a while. turns out, you were in jail.”
you huffed a soft laugh, shaking your head. “not jail, jail. it was more like… an extended stay in a highly secured facility with terrible food and absolutely no privacy.”
his lips quirked up in amusement. “right. prison.”
you rolled your eyes, leaning back in your seat. “it wasn’t that dramatic.”
“your grandfather locked you up because you were trying to flee the country,” taeha pointed out. “sounds dramatic to me.”
you smirked, resting your chin on your hand. “don’t act like you didn’t enjoy the peace and quiet while i was gone.”
taeha scoffed, shaking his head. “you think i enjoyed having no one to argue with? please. i had to actually focus on my work for once.”
“tragic.”
“miserable, really,” he agreed, taking a sip of his wine. “but tell me, where were you planning to go? some tropical island where no one knew your name?”
you exhaled, fingers tracing the rim of your glass. “i hadn’t figured that part out yet. anywhere but here.”
taeha studied you for a moment, his expression unreadable. “so, after we broke up, your first instinct was to disappear completely?”
you shrugged. “you can’t say you were surprised.”
he chuckled, shaking his head. “no, i suppose not. you’ve always been good at running away from things you don’t want to deal with.”
you raised a brow. “says the man who pretends his father isn’t ruining his life every single day.”
taeha’s smirk faltered just slightly before he recovered, giving you a look that was equal parts amused and irritated. “touché.”
“besides,” you continued, leaning forward slightly, “if my grandfather hadn’t intervened, i would’ve been long gone. and you wouldn’t have had the pleasure of my company tonight.”
taeha exhaled dramatically. “and what a loss that would have been.”
“exactly,” you said with a grin.
he smirked, watching you with an expression that was almost—almost—fond. “so, how was it? your little prison sentence?”
you sighed. “boring. monitored calls, no internet, no outside contact. and the food? absolute nightmare.”
taeha whistled lowly. “and yet, you still came back looking expensive.”
you smirked, gesturing to your dress. “well, i couldn’t let my grand reappearance be anything less than stunning.”
taeha laughed under his breath. “i’d say you succeeded.”
for a moment, there was an ease between you—like the years hadn’t put so much distance between what you once were. but you knew better than to dwell on it.
"it was actually hell, two years and a half".
as you set your glass down, taeha leaned back in his seat, watching you with that same knowing smirk. “we should probably wrap this up soon,” he murmured. “we still need to be seen leaving together.”
you exhaled, nodding. “right. got to make sure the cameras get their money shot.”
“exactly,” he said, but there was something in his voice—something that made it feel like he wasn’t just talking about the act.
he stood first, adjusting his jacket before offering you a hand. you hesitated for half a second before taking it, his fingers wrapping around yours like they had a thousand times before. except this time, it was just for show.
or at least, that’s what you told yourself.
as you stepped out of the restaurant together, the cameras flashed again, and taeha did exactly what he had promised—he played his part. his hand slid to your waist, his touch light but possessive, and as he leaned down, lips brushing dangerously close to your ear, he whispered, "you look good, princess".
you did. you smiled like he was the only thing in the world worth looking at, like there weren’t ghosts between you, like this wasn’t just a carefully orchestrated lie.
because if there was one thing the two of you had always been good at—it was pretending.

Fate.
Years ago, I believed solely in fate. Where there is someone who is writing my own life, and that someone who is writing is making sure that I'm happy. How I have my parents, my friends and most importantly, my best friend.
Fate brought us together when my father's childhood friend unexpectedly lived just beside our house. He also has his own family and they would set us up on a play date whenever they have the time.
He introduced himself as Lee Hojun, and he's two years older than me. We were just 5 and 7 years old when we first exchanged our names. The play dates lasted until I turned 9 and he's 11, and our time together suddenly felt a bit different.
Puppy love. That's how everyone describes it.
My feelings for Hojun back then were indescribable. I always think that we should get married already. We were adorable. Those cute interactions made my heart skip a beat for the first time—and I want to experience it for much longer.
Well, I told you earlier I believed solely in fate? What happened next made me forget about fate.
Hojun's family moved to Australia just a month after I confessed to him. And he doesn't know when they will come back home because his mother has been calling Australia their new home.
Fate?
That doesn't exist in my life anymore.

SUMMER OF 2025
“Don't forget your art project to be completed in three days” I announced through the classroom as I watched my 5th grade homeroom class pack their bags and get ready to go home for the day.
“Yes teacher” some of them said in unison, others just nod and smile.
It has been my dream to become a teacher since I was little—from acting like a teacher to finally being a real teacher. I'm grateful that I entered a job that made me smile whenever I start my day.
Even though it gets hectic.
Finals week is happening next week and those are the days where students and teachers are busy and at the same time—thinking about the summer break.
When the last student finally left the classroom, my head automatically rested on my table, catching sleep for a bit. Just a few minutes later, I didn't know someone came inside my classroom and felt their finger poking on my cheek.
“Miss Eunji…it's already 5 in the afternoon” I heard that familiar voice and saw it's Taeha, the music teacher in this school and also the work crush of most teachers here. He really is good-looking.
Me and Kang Taeha had been friends since college and that's the part where other teachers are jealous about—my closeness with Taeha.
We also share one apartment, since it's affordable, and when they found that out—his admirers were scowling at me again.
I groaned and stretched out my arms, “You should go ahead, or else I'll hear their scowls at me again. They irritate me now” I said to him.
Taeha laughed, “Who cares? Besides, I think you need a helping hand” He looked over the mountain of activity sheets that I needed to check and record back home.
I playfully rolled my eyes at him, “Fine” I stood up from my chair and fixed my things. I'm so glad it's finally the weekend—but our weekends are still full of work.
I stared at the activity sheets and closed my eyes as I took a deep intake, “I love my job, I love my job” I mumbled to myself.
I put the papers neatly in a box and as I'm about to lift it, Taeha beat me to it and that made him stand so close beside me, smelling that faint masculine cologne and his veiny and surprisingly huge arms on display since he rolled up his sleeves.
“Helping hand…remember?” His voice came out deep since he's too close to me.
A faint blush appeared on my cheek and took a step back away from him, “Okay, helping hand. Let's go” I nervously laughed and took my things.
I can hear Taeha chuckling behind me and that made me blush even more.
Tumblr media
“Hey, remember Hwang Dohyun back in college—” I abruptly stopped in my tracks when I saw Taeha without any shirt on and only wearing those loose gray sweatpants that are so tempting to look at while he’s watching some random series.
“Why is he being like this nowadays?! Did he start working out? Is he feeling confident?” I am fighting my inner demons right now.
“Hwang Dohyun? I just received a text from him.” Taeha responded to my unfinished sentence earlier. I saw him give me a questioning look because I am just standing here, clutching my towel that I used after taking a shower earlier, “Why…are you standing there?”
“Oh! Me too! That’s what I’m going to ask.” I shake off the inappropriate thoughts and take a seat on the sofa where he is—but I’m keeping a distance from him, or else he will see me flip out.
“It’s been years since we last saw each other and I’m surprised to hear an update from him.” Taeha smiled and put his arms up behind his head, causing his biceps to flex a bit.
“Fuck. Can he stop?!” I mentally screamed.
I try to regain my composure, “And that update is…he’s getting married.” I chuckled.
That made me think of most of my friends getting married, already married, and settled with their own family. People have been saying that my age is the perfect time to get married and start a family, but fate is not on my side anymore—since that time. So I’m ignoring those stereotypes and just live where the wind might take me.
“He mentioned that instead of having those typical bachelor’s parties where they go club hopping, he will just use their family summer cabin and spend a week with his friends.” Taeha said while looking at Dohyun’s message.
“Seven days means there will be seven different summer activities that we will be doing?.” I asked.
Taeha shrugged, “Maybe? And I hope so, because I really miss those summer activities we did in elementary school before.”
I smiled on the ground and reminisced about those times, “Yeah, I do too.”
My smile faded away when he entered my thoughts again, causing me to sigh deeply.
“What’s wrong Eunji?” Taeha asked and felt him scoot close to me. Feeling the heat of his exposed torso dangerously close to mine.
“What's wrong? You're all shirtless and shit is what's wrong. Put on a damn shirt.” I slapped my towel at him and stood up from the sofa, getting ready to go and enjoy my sleep.
“It's warm here!” He hollered from the living room.
“Then turn off the heater!” I argued back and entered my room, leaning my back against the door.
Damn you Kang Taeha.
Tumblr media
Time really passes by so fast and I'm glad finals week is coming to an end. I kept remembering Dohyun's summer getaway so that I just have the motivation to check every exam papers and projects that my classes have passed. When the school bell finally rang, a wide smile appeared on my face upon seeing the students get all excited for their summer break. With just two and a half months, I'm sure they will make the most out of it.
“Have a great summer, teacher!” One of my students came over to greet me.
“Have a great summer too!” I grinned, then I was surprised when my student suddenly gave me a pretty shell bracelet, “Oh! Is it for me?”
The student nods while showing that adorable smile. I immediately put on the bracelet and my heart swells when they hugged me again before waving goodbye to me. I admired the bracelet once more and soon I was interrupted with someone knocking on the door.
“Come in.” I said.
Of course it's Taeha.
“Miss Eunji,” Taeha always calls me whenever we're here in school and I think it's cute hearing it from him, “We have a small get-together with the other teachers in the faculty room.”
“Oh okay, I'll be right there.” I nodded and started tidying everything I accomplished today. I also applied some lip gloss and powder to make myself presentable.
Then I just realized that Taeha is still here, leaning on the door frame with his gaze at me.
My brows furrowed, “What are you still doing here? You go ahead.” I tried to shoo him away.
“We'll go there together.” He smiled.
I rolled my eyes, “And cause a whispering scene between your admirers again? You go ahead.”
Taeha soon found himself walking towards me and took my bag from my table.
“Hey!” I tried to get my bag from him, but our height difference is hindering me.
“Come on, let's go, you look pretty already.” He said and that made me look at him again, not realizing my cheeks are blushing again.
I huffed out in disbelief, “Fine. I'll just turn the AC off here.”
I tidy up the classroom and turn off everything that's plugged in before leaving the room with Taeha still holding my bag. I was about to tell him something but a phone call interrupted me.
“It's from my bag,” I told Taeha and he gave me my bag, pulling out my phone to see it's Dohyun calling me, “Oh, it's Dohyun.”
I pressed the button to receive the call and I'm surprised it's actually a video call.
“Eunji! Hello!” I saw Dohyun's contagious smile again.
“Dohyun! It's been a while! Taeha is also here with me.” I showed Taeha in the video call as they greeted each other too.
“Since both of you are now on this call, I'm sure you're both aware of my bachelor's party slash summer getaway that is happening on sunday.” Of course, me and Taeha nodded on what Dohyun said.
“Yeah, and congratulations too on your upcoming wedding!” I greeted and Taeha did the same.
Dohyun grinned, “Thank you guys. I'm kinda skeptical about contacting you and Taeha because it's been years since we saw each other, maybe you won't remember me anymore.” He chuckled.
I giggled on what Dohyun said, “What do you mean we won't forget you? You literally saved our last semester in college before.”
“You're the reason we have this degree!” Taeha buts in.
I watched Dohyun laugh so hard and probably remember the time back in college where we literally begged on our knees for his review notes for us to pass our exams. Me and Taeha were so crazy to pass with flying colors, and Dohyun is actually a smart student that we met. He is our guardian angel.
“This is why I really missed you both. Your craziness as a duo in college made me feel so belonged, even though I'm older.” Dohyun sighed, “Anyways, I'll see you guys this sunday and you will be also meeting my other friends. Hope that's okay.”
“Yes of course, see you this sunday! And, will there be a motif for our outfits?” I genuinely asked.
“Nah, any outfit is fine, as long as it's comfortable. See you guys! I'm hanging up now.” Dohyun waves goodbye on the video call as we waved back before he ended the call.
I sighed deeply and returned my phone inside my bag again, “Can't believe we will be spending a week in the woods.”
Taeha tried to uplift my mood because he knows I'm a bit nervous when it comes to the woods, “Relax, I'm sure the place where the cabin is would be nice. With those lake views and everything.” He patted my shoulder.
“I hope so.”
Tumblr media
Sunday finally came and I am blankly staring at my two luggage that is filled with my things for the next seven days in the woods. I brought some insect repellant, sunblock and other necessities to make the getaway problem-free. We are just waiting for the driver to drive us to the address that Dohyun gave. He mentioned that he got us a shuttle together with his other friends for us to get to the cabin. I'm overthinking again that it would be a bit awkward to be in the same vehicle with some strangers.
I heard footsteps behind me and saw Taeha wearing a baby blue billowy shirt together with a denim three-fourths. He looks very summery, compared to mine that it's just a plain yellow sundress.
“Ready to go?” Taeha asked while locking our apartment.
“Yeah…I think.” I put up a small smile.
I was taken aback when Taeha suddenly cupped my cheeks and squashed it lightly, “I swear you'll be fine. I'm here for you if you got scared in the woods.”
I took his hands off my cheeks, “You promised that, and don't play pranks on me in the woods or else I'm gonna leave you back there.”
I immediately took my luggages and began walking in the hallway towards the elevator.
“Hey! Wait for me!” I heard him scrambling behind me as I snickered a laugh.
“The driver should be any second now, keep up slowpoke!” I hollered through the hallway of the apartment building and hoped our neighbors wouldn't be annoyed.
We took the elevator and just in time the driver notified us that they are now in front of the building. Taeha helped me put my things in the trunk and now we finally leave the apartment complex.
On our way to the place where the shuttle is, it is full of interesting stories. Taeha mentioned he was once a boy scout in his elementary years and he always has awards whenever they have their tasks, almost as if he's assuring me that I'm in good hands when we stay in the cabin. The driver also added that there's a beautiful lake where the cabin should be because someone he knew also owns a cabin around that place and he saw how beautiful the view is outside.
What they said made me calmer and now full of anticipation of what the cabin would look like—of course with Dohyun's wealth and status, I'm very sure it would be so beautiful.
We finally reached the place and immediately saw a shuttle service waiting by the bus stop. We took our things and said our thanks to the driver as he drove off.
“Oh wow, this shuttle service is…expensive.”
Right before me and Taeha is a white colored shuttle service that almost looks like a whole bus. We made our way towards the man waiting by the car.
“Excuse me, is this the shuttle service provided by Hwang Dohyun?” I asked the man.
“Oh! Yes! Can I ask your names?” He asked as he took out a list from the pocket of his jacket.
“It's Kim Eunji and Kang Taeha.” I said with a warm smile on my face.
Me and Taeha waited patiently as he went through the list and noticed his face lit up, “There you both are miss Kim Eunji and mister Kang Taeha. Let me help you store things inside the shuttle's compartment.”
“Thank you so much.” I thanked him as we also helped put our things inside.
When we are now good to go, we enter the shuttle and our eyes widen to see how cool it is inside. The seats are probably so comfortable, there are small TVs on the seats and a champagne corner? This shuttle has everything.
“This freaking looks like a first class seat in an airplane, holy shit.” I muttered to Taeha since I saw there are now people inside who are chatting with each other.
“Let's find our seat now.” Taeha ushered me towards the seats that are close to the front since he doesn't like to be that far behind a bus.
When he settled, I sat down on this comfortable chair and felt like I'm just about to pass out to sleep on how freaking comfortable it is. I just want to stay there, I'm already content with this damn shuttle service.
After a few minutes, more people came and now the man and also I think is the driver now entered the half-filled shuttle service.
“Good morning everyone, I am Hongchul and I will be your driver today. We will be having a 3-hour drive to the Hwang's family cabin. Mister Dohyun actually gave all of you some snacks and other necessities in the box that is just under your seats. If you have problems or emergencies during the trip, press the button that is beside the TV and just stay your concerns through its speaker. Have a great day everyone.” Hongchul bowed at us and now got ready to drive.
My face is making a very weird look because of what I'm feeling right now. Taeha noticed that I'm making a face now and that sent him from stifling a laugh.
“What the hell is that face?” He covered his mouth.
“It feels so new as a person who only lives an average life. I can't believe we have a friend like Dohyun who is literally wealthy like a president.” I chuckled and soon took the box that Hongchul mentioned earlier. I opened to see some chips, biscuits and a juice to help with our hunger during the trip.
What I'm shocked about is that there's a jacket inside too and summer necessities like sunblock and some sunglasses. Dohyun really planned everything for this special week, and that made me think how many weeks or even months that he planned this. That made me even more grateful to be one of his friends.
Tumblr media
The 3-hour drive went by smoothly as we now entered some secluded place that is surrounded by woods. I'm glad it's not one of those places that is too deep within the foliage but this place seems light. During the trip, we actually met one of Dohyun's friends named Yoobin. She's one of Dohyun's closest friends way back in high school and she's so extroverted that she introduced herself to everyone in the vehicle. We can't help but also socialize with everyone in the shuttle. I noticed this woman who is a bit silent and just wearing her headphones while looking at the view. Of course I just ignored her or else she'll be annoyed that I interrupted her quiet time.
After a few minutes, we are now surprised by the cabin. Words can't explain how beautiful the cabin is, how it was standing between the trees and the lake just in front of it. It's like this place came from a storybook.
“The cabin is so beautiful.” I said in pure admiration.
“Told you it would be beautiful.” Taeha added.
“I overthink too much.”
Taeha snorted, “Yeah you do.”
When the shuttle service parked beside the cabin, Hongchul; the driver, now helped us leave the vehicle and unload our things from the compartment. My eyes are not leaving on how beautiful the cabin is.
“Welcome everyone to my family cabin!”
My eyes widened to hear that voice and finally saw Dohyun walking out from the cabin with that same warm smile on his face. All of us greeted him and took turns hugging and greeting the man of hour—or week?
When we exchanged glances, Dohyun's smile widened even more as he saw me running towards him and gave him the biggest hug. Taeha also entered and now turned into a group hug.
“Oh Taeha and Eunji! I'm so glad you're both here! Thank you for making the time.” Dohyun said as we broke our hug.
“Anything for our dear friend, who is close to being a married man.” I nudged his side as he laughed.
“So when's the wedding?” Taeha asked Dohyun.
“It will be happening next month already. Me and Haewon have been together for 6 years now and she's the love of my life. Both of our families are so supportive that this wedding should already be happening. I just proposed to her two months ago, and now the ceremony is now happening in a month.” Dohyun shared this story that made us look like some smiling freaks.
“I'm so happy for you Dohyun, and thank you for planning all of this. So don't worry, this summer getaway will be amazing.” I said to Dohyun.
“Of course it will be amazing, and speaking of amazing, can I have the attention of everyone,” Dohyun stood on the porch of the cabin, “Through the seven days, we will be having different activities to make our summer getaway the vacation of your lives. For this day, we will be barbecuing some food and just a simple campfire.”
I glanced at the large space between the cabin and the lake to see a grill and the campfire already laid out. But first, Dohyun said about our rooms, me and Taeha picked the room that is on the second floor and the window has the perfect view of the lake.
I threw myself on the large mattress and indulged how soft and comfortable this bed is.
“I hope I won't sleep in because of how soft this bed is.” I chuckled and prop myself up to see Taeha also enjoying his own bed.
“Me too,” Taeha agreed, “It's like we booked in a five-star hotel but for free.”
When we finally settled our things inside our designated room. We went back outside the cabin to see most of the guests are having fun in the lake. They were kayaking, skipping rocks and just relaxing. I caught in my peripheral vision the quiet woman during the whole trip talking to Dohyun and sharing some laughs. I didn’t notice how pretty and tall she is. She looked like a model or some sort.
But I just mind my own business and told Taeha that we should have a skipping rock competition.
After several rocks were thrown in the water, of course, Taeha won.
“Why are you so good at everything?” I grumbled and crossed my arms together like some kid that lost in a game.
“At least you also skipped three rocks.” Taeha tried to console me.
“But you skipped ten.”
Taeha chortled, “You’re so adorable.”
My eyes widened on what he said and that made my cheeks blush again.
“A-anyways, let’s just relax on the bean bags by the campfire.” My words stammered as I quickly went my way towards the bean bag and sat on it comfortably.
Taeha has been making me blush for weeks now and I don’t think this is a good sign for our friendship that lasted for years. And when I let my feelings overcome me, maybe it’ll be like that moment again—where someone would just leave me behind. I breathe in the fresh air and close my eyes to what I’ve been thinking again.
I didn’t realize that I already took a nap—with the help of this comfortable bean bag. While everyone is making the most of the beautiful scenery of the lake and the cabin, here I am, passed out.
Tumblr media
Smoke. Such indulgent smoke.
My eyes slowly opened to see it's already sunset and the others are now grilling some delicious meat and preparing other foods. How long was I out?
I stretched out my arms and legs before getting up from the bean bag that I comfortably slept on.
“You're finally awake, we finally started preparing for our dinner. I really didn't want to wake you up, you're so comfortable sleeping on the bean bag.” Taeha came walking towards me with a drink in his hand.
I look at the drink he handed me over to see it's iced tea. I took a sip and it was the most refreshing drink for the summer.
“Thank you for the drink, and yeah…I didn't realize I passed out already. I still have to catch more sleep.” I put up a small smile.
Taeha sighed and soon showed me his hand, “Come, let's go with the others.”
I held his hand in caution as we went towards the table where everyone is socializing. Me and Taeha sat down and saw Yoobin; the one we talked to during the trip.
“Taeha! Eunji! Hi!.” She waved at us and we greeted back. Yoobin also introduced her other friends, adding more stories and random things in our interesting conversation.
“Did y'all notice Haesoo being overly quiet since we arrived here?” Sunhee whispered to us.
My brows furrowed, “Who's Haesoo?” I genuinely asked since I still haven't known everyone on this trip.
Yoobin discreetly pointed behind me, I took a peek to see the same quiet woman who was talking to the other groups, “Her. That's Choi Haesoo.”
“She's Dohyun's friend who he met when he was working in Australia before.” Sunhee added.
“Dohyun worked in Australia? I didn't know that.” Taeha was taken aback.
“Yeah, he worked in a company as part of the marketing team. He also met his soon-to-be wife in Australia.” Yoobin explained further.
I nodded when I got that new information, “Wow, that's why he has a bit of an accent.” I chuckled.
We all stifled a laugh, “Yeah, he does.” Yoobin agreed.
We all ended the gossip when we saw Dohyun coming towards our table and joined us here, “How are y'all liking the day so far?” He asked with that contagious smile again.
We're loving it. The cabin is beautiful. This place is amazing. We're thankful you planned this. We all said those words in unison.
“Actually, I want to introduce myself to Haesoo since I remember we used to be in the same university.” Yoobin suggested to Dohyun.
Dohyun scooted closer to us, “She's not in the mood and I think she's pissed at me.”
All of us at this table were surprised.
“What happened?” Sunhee asked.
“Well,” Dohyun chuckled, “I actually invited his ex over. The one she dated for four years when we're still working in Australia.”
So that's why she's not that excited during the trip. But I respect her since she still agreed to come just for her friendship with Dohyun.
I was about to ask Dohyun something, we heard a car engine approaching the cabin. I looked over to see a black Range Rover and soon parked beside the shuttle service we used earlier. Who arrived so late?
“Fuck,” Dohyun cursed and stood up from his seat.
“Who's that?” Yoobin asked. Also has that bewildered look on her face.
The Range Rover car opened and revealed the person inside. Since it's a bit dark where the parking space is, I don't have a clear look on their face. All I know is that they're tall—very tall.
“Speaking of the devil, that's the person I've been talking about…” Dohyun said.
When they are now walking towards our direction. My heart stopped when the light shone down his face. All of the memories, either good or bad ones, played in my mind. My balled up my fists, trying to hide what I'm feeling right now.
“Is that…” Sunhee's lips curled to a smirk.
“Oh my god he's the ex.” Yoobin covered her mouth.
“The ex that Haesoo still has feelings for,” Dohyun added and that made Yoobin and Sunhee gasp but enjoying the drama.
Dohyun soon approached him and gave him a friendly hug, “Everyone, meet Lee Hojun. One of my friends from Australia.”
My frozen self watches Hojun politely bow, “Good evening everyone, sorry for being late.” He apologized.
That's Lee Hojun. The Lee Hojun I've known since I was little, the one that I spent my whole childhood with, the one who I shared my feelings with, and the one who left me behind.
After 20 years…I finally saw his face.
Is fate doing this all over again?

「 ❀ 」  ━━ ˗ˏˋ JUST KEEP SWIMMING !
A quest to find nemo and friends with @lgcminseo and @hyunsoolgc !
It's seldom that the trio - or rather, the dynamic duo and their plus one, as Taeha liked to tease - found themselves with matching schedules. Or in this case a lack thereof and an abundance of free time. Taeha had been counting the days since her birthday celebration for the three to have another fun outing, and with the weather getting warming the city was their oyster! It only took a few spams in the group chat to settle on an afternoon at the aquarium ( and potentially a trip to a new cafe or two that evening if Taeha had any say ). With her polaroid camera in tow, Taeha planned to pose as their personal photographer - if she could just manage to make it a single step without getting distracted, that is.
And if the start of their day would be any indication, she'd surely be failing miserably. The trainee can barely contain her excitement as she bursts through the entrance, letting out a gasp that already has the pink mask she'd been sporting drooping slightly below her chin. "Oh my gosh! Look, look, look!" she's gushes, shuffling towards the gift shop. Her eyes are laser focused on a display case of plushies designed to mimic some of the more popular animal attractions. She reaches for one of the larger Penguins to give it a squeeze. "It's so cute! Should I get it? Or - Oh! They have otters too! ...Should I get both?!"

cool as a cucumber
"T, do I look any different?" Minseo swivels in the leather chair, revealing two slices of cucumbers over her eyes, which struggled to not slide down her face thanks to gravity. The two had snuck into her parents' sanctuary to enjoy their afternoon from practicing and performing. She had rarely taken advantage of the sauna room, or the plunge pool. At most, she had kept her mother company when she was getting her makeup done by professionals before a big event.
She enjoyed exploring her house with Taeha, especially when the two of them were the only ones present. Music could be blasting and the temporary privacy was perfect for the two to start their night of shenanigans. She catches one of the cucumber slices, suppressing a chuckle with a bite to the inside of her cheek. She throws it into the nearby bin, reaching for another slice to sink her teeth into the refreshing cucumber. She grabs another to nibble on it like a rabbit would, maintaining eye contact with her bestfriend.
Anything to make Taeha laugh.
"Should we take a picture?" She jumps up from the chair, standing next to the shorter girl. Staring at their reflection in their matching white spa robes and their hair held up in towels was a funny sight for her. All she could see were their facial features. She unlocks the tablet, adjusting the light from bright white to neon pink. She picks up the polaroid camera, adjusting the timer to keep her hands free and step back towards her bestfriend. "Only funny faces!"

Distracted, as always. A constant annoyance to her friends, ever concerned the trainee and her complete and utter lack of awareness for her surroundings. With her nose tucked away into her phone so attentively it was a wonder her eyes didn't simply start to cross. She manages to navigate her way into the elevator with ease - Well, almost - narrowly missing a decorative plant placed nearby as she pens another quick message.
Taeha's eyes flitter away from her screen only to be startled by the stall of the elevator doors. "Careful! What if your hand got stuck that w - " Oh. Him. Her mind reels with images of the Halloween party and her ruined knit dress still tossed haphazardly in the back of her dorm closet. Her annoyance ( read: embarassment ) has subsided by now, of course... It helped that she barely saw him around the company these days. Only in passing conversation with mutual friends has there even been a mention... Was he a ghost? A smile tugs at the corners of her lips at the thought, stifled behind the back of her palm.
"Hm - Oh!" How had she forgotten again?! It wouldn't be the first time she'd blindly allowed the elevator to choose her fate for the day... "I can do it, it's - " she steps forward somewhat impulsively to select a floor, unintentionally swatting his hand away with the collection of charms that swing from her wrist. "I'm always just walking in without - Oh, wait, not that one! That studio is this afternoon, I meant to - " She mashes two more buttons without much thought, frowning. "S-sorry! You're not in a rush are you...?"
to hell with it
It hadn't been apparent to him that he had been purposely avoiding her, but after an embarrassing first encounter, he felt like steering clear of her wouldn't hurt his ego too much. He thought of reaching out and asking for her to return his jacket until the realization hit him. He didn't have her number. He would have to ask one of his friends' for her number, or worse, ask one of the other trainees. He didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea, especially when their circles overlapped and he didn't want to waste energy on explaining what had occurred. His mind tortured him enough replaying the scene in his head.
Perhaps, he was catastrophizing like he always tended to do, but there was an unspoken tension that he couldn't quite figure out if it was him, her, or the feeling was mutual. It seems the universe is dead set on pushing him out of his comfort zone. He spots her heading towards the elevator when he enters the lobby. He quickly glances away, focusing on the time on his watch. How can someone with short stature make him too aware of his own existence?
He throws caution to the wind and crosses the lobby in long strides, stopping the elevator doors from closing with his hand. He steps inside, eyeing the buttons on the panel. None had been pressed. Should he be polite? He first presses the button to the cafe, staring at her reflection on the doors before he speaks up. "Which floor?"

afternoon.         ♡ now welcoming: @lgctaeha
“stop whatever you’re doing right now, i have some big plans for today and you’re gonna help me with them.”
there was never a time when jihan didn’t find something to do over the weekends when the trainees were free from their responsibilities. though she knew they still had to represent the company, no matter what they were doing or if they were known or not. most of jihan’s adventures were harmless, at least, with the people she wants to protect and knows their limits of fun.
today’s victim of the brunette's crazy idea was taeha, a small flower in the eyes of the older woman. she had felt somewhat very protective over this younger woman who was just as bright as jihan. the two got along quite well, despite how loud she can be from time to time - or bouncing with random energy that happened to die slowly. “i was thinking we could visit a few art galleries and then get something to eat afterward or...” her words trailing off, smile growing wider, orbs gleaming with a hint of mischief.
“we can hit up an arcade! but, if none of these things sound fun to you, we can always try out what you’re interested in. i don’t think i’ve learned about those yet.” pushing her sunglasses up on top of her head, creating the brown hair to be pushed away messily. “i’m truly up for anything and everything, i just want to be out of the dorms this week, breathe in the fresh air.”

when: early afternoon of june 21st, 2020 where: hiking trail with: @taehafmd
through most of the trip aidynn had planned to stay in the room he had been assigned with andy and eunjae and get high and not have a care in the world. but he found himself not able to turn down taeha and a hike. his sister had mentioned the fresh air would be nice for him, so might as well give it a try.
“so...” aidynn breaks some bit of silence that has surrounded the hike, making an effort to be normal-ish and speak. “how has the retreat been so far?” small talk wasn’t one of his strong points in life, this isn’t a way he would ever start a normal conversation. yet here they were.

Lately, Taeha's days had just seemed to be so terribly packed. Gone were the quiet afternoons between practices spent lunching and drama-ing. Her favorite pastime of creating a cocoon of hoodies and her laptop in the corner of the Legacy cafe to watch dramas and break into the snacks she'd squirreled away unbeknownst to the the trainee nutritionist.
She's thankful for today being relatively slow - Though not a widely observed holiday ( not even by herself this year ), her coach seemed well preoccupied. At least well enough to provide the girls an added break in the day. She's content with rewatching her run throughs - Oh, what's this?
The notification pops up in the upper half of her screen, but before she can open the message Seyoon's screeching draws her attention. "Wh - ?" she blinks in confusion, glancing over her shoulder as if her name hadn't been belted from across the room. "What did I do?!"
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY @lgctaeha
Tumblr media
It was Valentine's Day season - a busy time for Kim Seyoon for all the wrong reasons. Sitting in his left hand was a slice of pizza, which he was trying to wolf down at record speed. In his right hand was his phone and he was texting people as quickly as humanly possible. He was on his way to the cafeteria to grab a drink and intended to head right back to his dance practice.
That was when the tragedy struck.
See, in his haste, a text (with a picture) that he intended to send to one of his people ended up getting sent to...Taeha. Innocent, wonderful Taeha who only believed in the purest of romances.
"Fuckity fuc-" Wait, was that her right there in the cafeteria? Perhaps he wasn't too late. "Taeha! Taeha!" Seyoon shouted with a mouthful of pizza. "Do not reach for your phone!" But she did. "STOP IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT'S HOLY!" He screamed in English. Yeah. State of panic. His mother tongue just slipped out. I am sure you understand, but we can all agree that in moments like this, it wasn't helpful. "Taehaaaaaaaaaaa!"

club seventeen [yeon’s current life]
Word Count: 1,084 Summary: this is yeon’s current life story. it’s also kinda long and why it has it’s own part, too, just because it’s easier to read it like that as well.
club seventeen masterlist.
Admin Lia~
— Yeon works six days a week at two jobs that occupies a lot of her time and life although she does find the time to attend classes for two days out of the week. Every Tuesday and Thursday Yeon attends Dongduk Women's University (DWU) for her degree in Education. Yeon has morning classes from ten-ten until twelve-fifteen in the afternoon. Although she knows she's taking a little longer than most, Yeon isn't in a rush to live her life to just work her ass off at a career that eventually would make her hate it and complain about her job and boss later, and repeat it again the next day. Although her life seems kind of like that now, Yeon sees her twenties as a time to just live life and worry about everything else when she hits her thirties in a few years.
— Anyways, at her first job of about six years, Yeon works from Monday through Friday at What the Book? [click!] because she likes books and it's mostly quiet and doesn't have to interact with people much. She's a bookstore clerk from two in the afternoon to eight at night with a forty minute lunch break at five-twenty. On Saturday she works from twelve in the morning to eight at night with an hour lunch break at one-thirty and then a thirty minute break later at five. She never gets the chance to go home early because the bigger boss always decides to leave first, but she always closes the store with her co-worker Jaeshin though. Because of this, Yeon and Jaeshin always eat at the nearest noodle shop every other night for dinner and other places near by on the other days because Jaeshin forces her along until it became a habit. The duo would usually talk about the events that had happened at work and other little things that comes up before eventually going their separate ways.
— At her second job, Club Seventeen, where she saw a wanted ad and so applied for extra income. Some think she's really there to check out all the eyecandies, but she's not. She really couldn't care less for all that just as long as she gets her money and makes drinks and eat the bar food. She was originally just looking to be a janitor or a cook, but she happened to make herself a drink and the manager, Joshua, was impressed and insisted she be behind the bar instead to serve drinks. Anyhow, she works on Thursday from ten at night to one in the morning while on Friday through Saturday her shifts are from ten at night to two in the morning when her shift ends at What the Book?. Yeon only works these three days at Club Seventeen because she makes the most money during these times and also because she is one helluva bartender and cook, but mainly a bartender since her specialty is mixed drinks and she likes working with her co-worker, S.Coups, when he's not stripping since his mixing skills is quite impressive as well, although his rap game isn't that bad either.
— Sundays are her only days off from both jobs and she spends those days with Seon and Taeha. The siblings would either eat breakfast or lunch at their favorite restaurant or go window shopping from morning to noon and getting ice cream and bubble tea afterwards while catching up with each other's lives or reminiscing about the past, mainly on Seon's part. Then later that Sunday night is where she and Taeha go watch a late night movie or visit the animal shelter that Taeha works at where she would talk about one of the critters doing this and that. Some times the two would have dinner near the Han River and talk about life or whatever that comes to mind while stargazing.
— Some times on every other Sunday is when Seon and Taeha have their all day dates and that leaves Yeon all by herself to do whatever she wants to do alone. Like Yeon would sleep in until close to three in the afternoon, then play video games for an hour, and eat brunch if she remembers if she hadn't snack on something by then. After that, she spends it cleaning the house and rearranging the living room's furniture to fit her mood which causes Seon to get slightly annoyed as the layout has changed and isn't what it was when he left that morning. Then she would shower and end up playing for an hour of computer games before sleeping at around two in the morning.
— After separating from Jaeshin at the noodle shop from her first job, Yeon usually takes the long way home to enjoy the night time scenery, the passengers, and its sounds. For some reason she likes to observe the people that ride the same subway or bus as her while taking pictures of these moments with her mobile device. Because Yeon knows that around this time it's never the same as she switches between the different subway and bus stations that she takes while going home. Also, it's because during the day people are rushing to get from one place to another place and are on some type of schedule that they have to maintain whereas during the night it's slow and not as bustling compare to day time. Another reason is that she loves seeing the different aspect of life between day and night when she compares the photos.
— Yeon wants to move out soon to live on her own once she saves enough to afford a place she likes and can afford without stressing. Also, she believes that it's time for her to live on her own when she overhears Taeha wanting her and Seon to live together and thinks they should since they'll be getting married soon. Besides, she didn't want to witness any of their lovey-dovey moments than she already has to if they all lived under the same roof. Seon made such a big deal about it as she has never lived on her own and such, but eventually relented when Taeha convinced him that Yeon is a grown adult and he has to let her go to live on her own. Also, Seon has to think about being on his own without Yeon being around and that he is also a full grown man and has to think about his own future.

Which idol would be your best friend based on your sign? (Girl Group Version)
Aries: Dahyun from TWICE would be your best friend. You were the one who encouraged her to dip dye her hair after you got yours done. From there, you two would always choose each other’s colors and go get it done. Dahyun would also be into teaching you TWICE’s choreos in the afternoons.
Taurus: Solji from EXID would be your best friend. This grandma would pull you out of your shell and you may suddenly find yourself touring through South America together or drunk singing at the karaoke bar with her on a Tuesday night.
Gemini: Eunwoo from Pristin would be your best friend. Hanging out with her would include watching movies together and sharing the same blanket. The first one who fell asleep would wake up to embarrassing pictures of them on social media.
Cancer: Rosé from BlackPink would be your best friend. You two would go camping together and sit by the fire as you play the guitar and listen to her sweet voice singing along. Sometimes Jisoo would tag along and start telling you scary stories. You and Rosé would prank her after she fell asleep and scare her.
Leo: Kyungri from Nine Muses would be your best friend. She would introduce you to pole dancing and you’d take classes together for fun. You’d fawn over her as she gracefully absorbed the art of pole dancing, and she would laugh at you when you slid off the pole.
Virgo: Chaeyeon from DIA would be your best friend. Chaeyeon would take you to her many photoshoots and you would support her and cheer her on. Sometimes she’d ask you to do her hair or makeup for her. You’d also sneak in food and give her a bite during her outfit changes.
Libra: Taeha from Berry Good would be your best friend. This girl who admitted that her family is rich & she spends thousands of dollars on clothes would be able to spoil you everyday.
Scorpio: Somin from KARD would be your best friend. This girl would be the first person you go to when you hit the dance floor at the club. She would also take you to the beach a lot.
Sagittarius: Arin from Oh My Girl would be your best friend. Your friendship started on the first day of school when you took the seat beside hers. You’d mysteriously receive front row tickets to Oh My Girl’s concerts in your mailbox when she was in your hometown.
Capricorn: Seola from WJSN (Cosmic Girls) would be your best friend. She would laugh at all your jokes and be into holding hands with you. She would probably smack your butt in public for laughs.
Aquarius: Luna from F(X) would be your best friend. When you’re not taking pretty pictures of each other at glamorous dinner dates, you’d be at her house, letting her practice her makeup skills on you and you would reassure her that she truly is an expert at cleavage contouring.
Pisces: KimLip from LOONA would be your best friend. With an appetite that never stops, you two would go out together at 2am to the closest food trucks and buy steaming dishes before walking the calories away at the park. She’s probably into stargazing with you.

SUMMER OF 2004
Eunji is finally on her second grade in school—getting excited that in a couple of months, she'll be in her third grade, meaning that her school supplies will be much more since she'll learn even more. Her notebooks will be bigger, her pencils will turn into pens, and her bag will be more minimalist than the one she owned today. Eunji aspires to change her personality every grade level, but there's something that will never change within her.
Her friendship with Hojun.
It's been two years since she met Hojun and in those two years, she felt happiness as she found a friend that she knew would never leave her side. Every bully or someone that would make Eunji feel sad, Hojun is always there. She always thought that Hojun is her guardian angel, minus the wings.
Eunji’s ears finally perked up when she heard the school bell ring, echoing through the bright, cheerful hallways. She sprang up from their seats, her eyes wide with excitement. It’s finally summer break. Eunji planned her summer break to hang out with Hojun and explore their neighborhood. She took her things and ran towards the hallway where Hojun’s classroom is, politely greeting the fourth grade students that are the same age as Hojun’s. Her smile went from ear to ear when Hojun finally left the classroom, but then the same smile faded when she saw a girl beside him.
Eunji hid behind the large plant in this hallway, eavesdropping on the two.
“What are you doing for the break?” The girl asked Hojun.
Hojun scratched the back of his head, “I am playing with Eunji, you know her right?”
Eunji smiled on Hojun’s answer, knowing that he’s really a real friend to her.
“Oh…Eunji, the second grader?” The girl said, with a hint of sarcasm in her voice, “She’s cool, but you should come hang out with us this summer.”
“That sounds fun,” Hojun replied, and Eunji felt her heart shatter, “But can Eunji come along?”
Eunji bit her lip, trying not to make a sound because of how happy she is. Hojun is always making her feel like she belongs with the other kids, regardless of their gender and age, because the other kids are just too cruel when they suddenly have a new kid in their group.
“Alright, she can come along. I’ll see you guys tomorrow at the park.” The girl finally bid her goodbyes and left Hojun in the hallway.
Eunji scrambled her way out of the same hallway and pretended that she’s waiting on Hojun to the entrance of the school. Feeling excited for her new playmates for tomorrow. Eunji finally saw the dark haired boy she’s been waiting for as she crashed herself onto him, hugging him tightly.
“Oh Jinnie! Are you waiting for too long?” Hojun asked, smiling down on his longtime friend.
Eunji smiled over the nickname her friend gave to her as she shook her head, “Nope. I just left my classroom.” She replied, pushing herself away from their hug earlier.
The warm afternoon sun greeted them like an old friend. The air smelled of freshly cut grass, and the faint sound of birds chirping made everything feel magical. This summer seems like the best one so far because of how perfect the weather is. Eunji can already imagine herself, Hojun, and the other kids enjoying games under the summer sun.
“Race you back home!” Eunji challenged, already running away from Hojun.
“Oh you’re on!” Hojun called behind Eunji, running faster than he did before.
Eunji laughed loudly as she ran for her life, the wind whipped past her face. Hojun is also laughing along, trying to catch up with his best friend. The sun hung low in the sky, painting the world in warm shades of orange and gold. The air smelled of blooming flowers and freshly cut grass as Eunji and Hojun raced down the sidewalks that led to their neighborhood.
“You’re never gonna catch me!" Eunji shouted, her laughter trailing behind her like music in the wind.
Hojun, who is grinning wide, pumped his arms faster. "Oh yeah? Watch this!" His sneakers pounded the ground as he closed the gap between them. Eunji's pigtails bounced with every step, and her heart thudded joyfully in her chest. The world blurred around them—just trees, pretty flowers, and endless possibilities.
Hojun finally saw his house and threw himself on the soft grass of their front lawn, catching his breath. He heard Eunji’s pants getting closer and watched her lay down on the grass beside him. Their tired selves just enjoying the summer sun and watching the clouds pass by in the wind.
“That’s not fair, you have longer legs." Eunji gasped for breath as she let out a cough.
Hojun laughed, “It’s not my fault you’re slow Jinnie!"
“I’m not slow.” Eunji protested, glaring at her best friend.
Hojun’s mother heard the two bickering at each other in their front lawn, she soon stepped out of their house and chuckled upon seeing the two just laying on the grass and staring at the clouds.
“Did you just arrive, my darlings?” Hojun’s mother said, smiling warmly on the two.
Hojun sat up from the ground upon hearing his mother’s voice, “Yes mom! It’s finally summer break again! We will be playing with the other kids at the park tomorrow!” He exclaimed.
Hojun’s mother chuckled, “Alright, you’ll truly make the most out of this summer break again. Don’t forget to look after Eunji too.” She reminds him.
Eunji smiled over Hojun’s mother’s words as she tried not to blush that hard. She really can’t wait for tomorrow where she can meet new kids and new friends.
Tumblr media
Hide and seek. It's a game that is frequently played by Eunji and Hojun. They usually just play at either of their homes, but this day, it's different. It will happen in the park. Their parents would constantly say that they shouldn't play hide and seek in the park, since there are woods behind that park. Eunji was scared of the stories about the woods, she heard there are countless ghosts wandering around that area and big insects that are half her size. Hojun, on the other hand, was intrigued by the big insects their parents were talking about.
Today, Eunji finally met Hojun's classmates and they are starting the game. Hojun was it.
The afternoon sun filtered through the tall trees, casting patches of golden light on the ground. Eunji brushed the stray hair away from her face, grinning nervously at Hojun's classmates walking ahead of her in these woods.
“Why do we have to hide back here?” Eunji sheepishly asked, walking slowly behind the older kids.
One of them looked back at her and shot her a scowl as they taunted her, “Why? You're scared?”
Eunji swallowed hard, her chest tightening and her hands balled up in fists. After all her scaredy cat moments about the woods, she decided today that she'll overcome this fear.
“No.” Eunji half lied, forcing herself to move forward from her spot.
The other kids soon told her hiding spot and said that spot is the best one. Eunji soon crouched behind a huge tree, heart still thumping loudly in her chest. She's really praying hard that Hojun would just come and find her throughout the game.
Minutes have passed, then what felt like hours.
Eunji is only hearing the wind rustling the branches and the fallen leaves on the ground. The shadows of the trees looked like an unknown abyss on the forest floor. Her breath quickened as fear crept in.
Eunji stood up and looked around the area, tears now prickling her eyes when he realized everything. They left her there. Alone.
“H-Hojun…come find me now.” Eunji cried, still looking around the space that filled her deepest fears. She can't take it anymore.
Eunji just crouched down again, hiding her face in her hands as she broke down in tears. The heartbreak that she went through with those kids because her intentions are so pure and she really wants to gain more friends. But why, why does this always happen to her, every time with Hojun's friends.
“Jinnie! Eunji!”
Eunji looked around her again when she suddenly heard her name being called. Then after a few minutes, she saw the familiar dark hair that surely belongs to her best friend.
“Hojun?” Her small, shaky voice answered back.
Hojun followed the sound of the shaky voice he just heard until he finally spotted Eunji crouched down and drowning in her tears. Hojun ran towards her and helped her up, then gave her a bone crushing hug.
“You found me,” Eunji sniffled, trying not to cry even harder in her best friend's arms.
“Don't worry Jinnie. I'm here now.” Hojun comforted her.
That same afternoon, Hojun lost some friends, but he's still as happy as before, because he'll never lose his only friend and the friend who is genuinely happy when they're together.

“I actually don't have anything in mind on what we'll be doing today.” Dohyun said while pacing back and forth in the living room. Me and Taeha are just watching him while we're sharing a bowl of nachos on this sunny afternoon.
I was beyond happy when I heard Dohyun say that. No more teamworks and misunderstandings, and I want more sleep, sleep, and yes, sleep. And just me basking in the sun while overlooking the beautiful lake.
“Maybe like…a lazy day perhaps?” I sneakily suggested. Taeha agreed with me too.
Dohyun shot us a knowing look, “Lazy day? No, that's not in my vocabulary for this summer getaway.” He said, crossing his arms.
I rolled my eyes, slouching my back on this couch we're lounging on, “Then what are you planning? It's already 3 in the afternoon, and the others are still sleeping.”
Dohyun thought of it thoroughly, returning in pacing back and forth in front of us again. He looked out at the lake and scanned towards the bar. A smile soon appeared on his lips.
“What do you think of an outdoor party? I got lots of booze in the bar and I can get more. I can put pretty lights outside and music.” Dohyun suggested.
An outdoor party would look perfect by the beautiful lake just as I imagined. I nudged Taeha beside me, “What do you think? I like outdoor parties, especially with a view like this.” I grinned.
Taeha nodded in response, “If you like it, then I like it.” He warmly smiled back.
Dohyun clapped his hands in excitement that made me and Taeha tear our eyes from each other. Our friend was so excited for the outdoor party later that he immediately called Hongchul for help. Dohyun already told the others about the party and they are scrambling to find their outfits and the others are offering to help him.
Me and Taeha went back to our room to find an outfit that is suitable for a party. I just found two summer dresses that I still didn’t use. I laid the dresses on my bed and began comparing the two. My arms crossed and face scrunched in frustration.
“You’ll look good in white.” Taeha suddenly spoke behind me. I looked at him and saw him gazing back at me.
A blush crept on my cheeks again and looked back on the white summer dress on my bed, my breath hitched when I felt Taeha’s presence close to me as he took the white dress from the bed and put it in front of my body—visualizing what I would look in that dress.
“Yeah, you’ll look beautiful.” He smiled.
“You think?” I nervously laughed, trying not to look too flustered in front of him again, “I would put on some of my jewelry.” I tried to dodge him again as I went to my bedside table, rummaging through my jewelry bag.
My eyes looked out of the window and something caught my attention.
It’s surely Hojun who made his way to the trail towards the falls we took days ago. He’s all alone and that makes me wonder why he’s going back to the falls. I kept thinking about yesterday, where me and Taeha were in the balcony, his eyes that time were haunting me and making me overthink everything about us again. I didn’t even have the chance to talk to him after that, since he kept avoiding me.
That made me think that I should talk to him now. And maybe finally open up about our past, if he still remembers.
I closed my jewelry bag and decided to follow Hojun, but I stopped in my tracks when Taeha wondered why I’m leaving. “Where are you going?” Taeha asked while he’s still rummaging through his clothes on what he’ll wear tonight.
“Um,” I stammered at first, but soon found my excuse, “I’ll just go by the lake. I saw Yoobin outside too.” I lied.
Taeha bought my excuse again as he nodded, “Okay, I’ll come along with you after I finish deciding my outfit.” He smiled at me.
My heart dropped when I felt like I have been lying too much to Taeha, and I think he also deserves an explanation about my past and feelings for Hojun. Soon. I smiled back at him and soon bid my goodbyes, my feet quickly dragged me downstairs and outside the cabin. I glanced at the trail where Hojun walked into and soon followed after.
The woods were thick with towering different trees as I remembered, their leaves a kaleidoscope of red, orange, and gold. Sunlight filtered through the branches, casting dappled patterns on the forest floor. I hesitated at the trailhead, wondering if I could walk through this path alone. But the thought of turning back left me feeling hollow. I had to know where Hojun was.
Minutes stretched into what felt like hours as I walked even deeper into the woods. My eyes kept looking around the tall trees and the thick bushes around them. The further I went, the quieter it became. The path narrowed, winding deeper into the woods, and the thick canopy above blocked out much of the sunlight. Shadows danced across the forest floor, twisting into shapes that made me think of that time again.
I just want to see Hojun, or I hope Hojun will find me.
A sudden crack echoed through the woods, and I froze in my spot, breath catching in my throat. My eyes darted around, searching for the source of the noise. Was it just a branch snapping under its own weight? Or was someone—or something—out there?
I remembered my seven-years old self again, where I was left alone by the other kids. Fear soon clawed at my chest, regretting why I entered the trail alone with this fear of mine. I crouched down and hugged my trembling frame, comforting and telling myself that I should overcome this.
Then, a familiar voice broke through the fear. "Eunji?"
My eyes flew open and saw them standing just a few feet away from me was Hojun, his expression a mix of confusion and concern. "What are you doing out here?" He asked, his voice low but steady.
I immediately stood up and patted the dirt out of my pants, “I…I was walking around.” I tried to lie, but my trembling voice is giving it away.
Hojun made his way closer to me and I just stood my ground, my breath hitched when he suddenly reached over my hair, realizing that there’s a leaf resting there. He’s quiet—too quiet, his eyes looking around but mine. The silence between us is making me feel those years of longing because of our lost time.
“You shouldn’t be alone out here, it’s dangerous.” Hojun said in concern, “We should head back—”
“No.” I suddenly blurted out, holding his hand to prevent him from leaving. Hojun was surprised by my sudden remark, probably wondering why I wanted him to stay. I took a deep breath and finally gathered the strength to finally open up to him.
“Eunji—”
“2002. 23 years ago, I felt lonely as a child because I had no one to share my wildest imaginations and activities that I dreamed of doing as a child. My mother would play with me sometimes but then would just leave me alone playing because she had to make dinner for us, my father on the other hand would also play with me but he’s busy with work. I just dream to have someone who would be my very first best friend. Springtime came and I met one kid…that changed my life.” I exhaled sharply, trying not to cry in front of him.
My eyes found Hojun’s and again was trapped into his gaze. My heart automatically raced as I stared into those eyes, those familiar brown depths that had once been the backdrop to countless childhood moments. But now, there was something different—something deeper. My chest tightened with a longing I had carried silently for far too long.
I broke out a laugh and wiped away the small tears forming around my eyes, “This is absurd.” I whispered to myself, “I’m sorry for suddenly being emotional, and um…you’re right, we should head out now.”
I turn myself away from him, regretting that I just said everything earlier. When I stared into his eyes earlier, I knew that I’m already one of his forgotten memories and I am tangled with the fear of rejection.
“Jinnie…”
My breath hitched. Again.
Jinnie.
The childhood nickname I hadn’t heard in over twenty years. A name bestowed upon me by none other than Lee Hojun—my one and only best friend when I was a little kid, during those endless playdates and my unforgettable puppy love.
I return my eyes to him, heart racing. The same eyes I stared into earlier were now sparkled with the same warmth I remembered back then. Memories surged to the surface—Hojun catching me from falling when I first met him, the unexpected playdates our fathers would plan because they wanted to hangout too, racing home from school, and everything that made our childhood the happiest. We had been inseparable once, two halves of a whole, until life pulled us in opposite directions.
In the very moment, fate has pulled us back together again.
“Hojun…” I sobbed, the weight of those lost years pressing down on me.
Without thinking, without hesitation, I closed the distance between us and wrapped my arms around him, holding on as if letting go would shatter me. Hojun’s arms came around me instantly, strong and reassuring. We fit together as seamlessly as we had all those years ago. I buried my face against his shoulder, breathing in the familiar scent of warmth and comfort.
“I thought you didn’t recognize me since the first time we saw each other again.” Hojun said and that made me suddenly pull away from our hug and slapped his bicep, causing him to wince and stare at me in confusion.
“Me?! I thought you were the one who didn't recognize me!,” I raised my voice and paced back and forth before him, “So all this time, we—”
Hojun let out a laugh, “God, we really are still stupid, just like when we were kids.” He said, his gaze still on my pouty self.
I can’t believe we were feeling the same way for five consecutive days.
“Then why didn’t you make a single move? Even on the night when we were all alone by the lake.” I complained again, crossing my arms together.
Hojun lets out a deep breath, “Because I thought you and Taeha are together and I don’t want to make suspicions and ruin this getaway for Dohyun.” He explained, his voice filled with gentleness
I rolled my eyes, “But I already mentioned that me and Taeha are just friends.” I pout at him again.
I heard him let out a playful chuckle and noticed him getting closer to me again, then I was surprised when he pinched my cheeks—but he’s gentle, unlike the ones he would do to me when we were kids. That gummy smile in full view, making my heart do somersaults.
“You’re still adorable, Jinnie.” He chuckled before pulling his hands away from my cheeks.
Our moment was ruined when I suddenly felt a drop of water that touched my forehead. Hojun was also confused and looked up at the sky, without any warning, the warm sun earlier turned into gray clouds and rain soon began to pour. With the summer rain and Hojun standing before me, all I could ever think about is our childhood memories when we would play in the rain, not even caring that we could get sick the following day.
We just let the rain fully drench us, then our eyes met again, causing us both to break into laughter. Reminiscing about our good old days.
“How I wish we were kids again.” I deeply sighed.
“I hope not though.”
I furrowed my brows at him, “Why not?”
I noticed his eyes are on me right now, “Because I don’t want to go back to the time that I left you.” His expression tightened, a hint of guilt flickering his eyes.
“But…you needed to leave that day. It’s for the sake of your father.” I said, fighting the lump rising in my throat.
Hojun looked down on the ground, my eyes fixated over the droplets of water from his drenched hair, “I should’ve done this back then…”
“Done what—”
The world seemed to pause, the rain fading into background noise. My eyes widened when Hojun suddenly closed the distance between us again, his hand cupping my cheek with a tenderness that spoke of longing and regret. My skin burned under his touch despite the rain drenching us both.
And then it happened.
Hojun’s lips found mine with a passion that spoke of every unsaid word and every missed opportunity that is filled with longing. I melted into him, my hands tangling in his wet hair and his hands wrapping around my waist as the rain poured down around us. Not only the rain drenching my face, but also there were tears that shed with the droplets of rain.
Tumblr media
The rain was relentless, soaking through our clothes and chilling our skin, but we didn't care. We kissed as if the world depended on it, as if that moment was our redemption, our only chance to rewrite our story that we didn’t like how it first ended.
Me and Hojun finally broke apart, gasping for air, I rested my forehead against his. Laughter bubbled from my lips, pure and joyous.
“What do you mean that you want to do this? We were just kids back then.” I giggled, playfully hitting his pec.
Hojun bites down his lips, “Yeah, you have a point.” He chuckled.
His arms are still wrapped around my waist and our eyes are still gazing at each other, “We’re really drenched right now.” I giggled again.
“I think we should really head back now.” Hojun said, pulling away from my touch.
I nodded and sighed, “Yeah, we really should.”
While we were walking back to the cabin, with our hands tangled together, I also mentioned the outdoor party that will happen tonight and Hojun was excited, since it’s been a while for him to attend a party and enjoy some booze. We also planned on seeing each other in the middle of the night by the lake again and catching up with our lost time. The warmth of Hojun’s presence beside me again was enough to erase the shadows of doubt, making my heart flutter a million times.

LGC CHARMS JAPAN
"back when the first lineup of LGC GIRLS JAPAN was active, they had an 8 episode variety show called ‘LGC GIRLS CHARMS JAPAN’ on tv. this is quite the norm for japanese idol groups to have a permanent show on tv. we've managed to secure a new season of the show. but, there's a twist; since the show has been inactive for a while, the company has decided to capitalize on this. the show has been renamed LGC CHARMS JAPAN, and this season will have AGITO challenging to become the PERMANENT group on the show. the five of you will have to compete against your seniors to keep the show in the hands of LGC GIRLS JAPAN!"
each episode will be 20 minutes long and the comedian duo, NON STYLE, will act as hosts of the show, being in charge of deciding the winning team for most games. while the filming date are specified, airing dates are to be announced:

(winning team: agito)
EPISODES 6-7 [ AUGUST 7 ]: team spirit battle. on a real life game board, the teams throw giant dice to be the first to reach the end. however, on each square is a team challenge to accomplish. ━━ ˗ˏˋCURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT EARS ! ( feat. @lgckiyong )
For all intents and purposes, this was a blind leading the blind scenario. Taeha had only been knitting... Crocheting... Making messy webs of fabric - For a few months now herself. And while some hobbies she had picked up rather quickly ( scrapbooking, for instance, or her new claim to fame of fishtail braiding - seriously, ask any of the trainees in her group ), those of the textile variety did not make the cut. Does that stop her from offering Kiyong some tips? Absolutely not.
She meets the model in one of the Legacy lounges, directing him to her favorite corner. Two plush chairs and a tiny round table wait for them. "I still think you get the best view from here," she nods towards the large windows, emptying her backpack onto the table's surface. And on a Sunday afternoon like this, there were hardly any staff members wandering about that would be concerned with the two quietly working on their projects.
"I'm thinking... A new hat? Hats are kind of my thing this year," she starts to ramble, shaking a few bundles of yarn free from the tangle that had formed in her bag. "Oh, oh, oh! I know, I'll make one of those hats with cat ears! It shouldn't be too hard right? A lot of the patterns I sent you are way too complicated... Sometimes it's good to keep it simple when you're just starting out - " Under her pencil case ( repurposed to hold her knitting needs and crochet hooks ), her phone peeks up at her from the table. Oh yeah, that's right...
Her theory. A new theory, one that was quite the theory, almost the theory to end all theories. "Oh, one rule - No phones! The KiHa knitti - The TaeYong kni - The K.T...?" She shakes off the thought with a wave of her hand. "Our knitting circle is sacred! Got it!? Your meme texts can wait!" She's one to talk considering that she hadn't been able to take her eyes off her phone for more than a few waking minutes in the past week ( well, past month... months - ).
But how else would she test if her theory, was right?

snow flowers
With all her friends being pulled in different directions, the end of the year was turning out to be bittersweet for her. It had taken her awhile to get used to living with other girls, silence had never been something that she particularly found comfort in. For the past three months, she woke up alone and returned to an empty dorm, which meant that she had become desperate to find other ways to occupy her afternoons instead of going home, but by now she was beginning to lose it.
In her conversation thread with Taeha, she spent several days documenting her loneliness with pictures, sad emojis, and audio clips. Surprisingly, her friend hadn't muted her or blocked her, which she wouldn't have fault her if only she scrolled up their thread and self-reflected. She truly cherished her relationship with the older girl, even going as far as calling her one of her bestfriends.
The weekend came and Taeha's Sunday would be highjacked by the younger girl, forcing her to go skating in the nearby ice rink and enjoy their morning. That was the plan until Minseo spotted the nearby park blanketed by an inch of snow and she linked her arms with her friend, pulling her along towards the hill. It was surprisingly empty with only people walking their dogs or rushing past them in bikes.
"When was the last time we've played with snow?" She asks, corners of her lips tugging upwards into a bright, mischievous grin. In retrospect, she should have known better than to play in the snow and get their clothes wet when they had the rest of the day to wander around the city. "Have you ever done a snow angel on the ground? I don't think I've ever tried that... Should we?!"

Enthusiast’s FrankenKeyboards
Taeha Types ASMR has so many sounds that I got lost and ended up almost more confused than when I first started. To be exact, I have been trying to get my typing skills into a certain standard and have been practicing to reach 100WPM with https://www.keybr.com/ but the best part of typing is pure satisfaction of the sound it makes. In many of Taeha’s video, his keyboards almost sounds like Mr. Karbs clacking his toes but mixed with hints of bubblewrap and the feeling of relief after going to the chiropractor. I ended up spending the afternoon dreaming of ‘Holy Panda’ and Zealios V2 combined with 3032 lube and modded stabilizers all customized on a Massdrio X OLKB Preonic mechanical keyboard V3. There are so many qualities for FrankenKeyboards from unique style to the right feel that make it ‘end-game’ each individual.
Below is one of my dream keyboards customized with Zealios 62g (I prefer a 78g since i like to tap on the keys without typing when I am thinking) with the main selling point of being a 60% and bluetooth compatible
youtube
Keyboard: Anne Pro 2 Wireless RGB. Switch: Zealios V2 62g. Plate: Stock. Case: Tofu 60% Alumunium. Keycaps: Kprepublic Japanese Root Base + Black Yellow Gentleman Modifier. Acc: Eva Foam 2mm
be sure to check out the other frankenkeyboards like:

Holy Pandas and the more silent type Zilent V2 as the switches with different keycaps and cases. To be honest, this is more for me to keep track of what mods that I want to do in the future but I might as well share the most important part: The feel for the keyboard and the wide selection of switches. These switches could be separated into categorize Clicky (blues), Tactile (browns), and Linear (reds) - from loudest to softest respectfully (usually). These different switches need certain pressure to hit the actuation point called actuation forces and these three have a different way of getting there. The Clicky blues are usually the most tactile and has an audible click when the actuation point is reach - Tactile is softer and is designed to stop the audible click; the two both have bumps in the middle to trigger electrical signals. Linear does not have this bump in the middle making a smooth and consistent action but still has an actuation point. I was always a fan of the Clicky given that I like the audible sounds of typing but the new waves of switches have been floated with many different kinds with most of the best being Tactile switches. i.e. Holy Panda, Zealios V2, Zilent V2. These are the top three that I would recommend. I’ll make a spread sheet of all the switches and it’s spec and put it in a different post. But for now get a tester and try them out at https://novelkeys.xyz/collections/switch-testers/products/12-slot-switch-tester
