The Indian schooling system produces an exceptional, soul crushing conformity, which needs to be studied though a structural frame. This is because the socialisation of students and the transmission of values happen not so much via the curriculum as it does through the system of rewards and punishment embedded in the structure of schooling. This is the domain of cultural aesthetics, where minds are conditioned through images, symbols and rhetoric.

good afternoon. absolutely deranged the way that hunger, the denial of sustenance, and the irrevocable rule that hunger could not be fully sated (no feeding on thinking creatures) was just one more thing ladled on cazador’s extensive psychological abuse. they already can’t rise up against him but he still made it so they were in a perpetual state of half starvation. I just—

jjk fandom doesn't have any media literacy despite reading the media literacy manga. this is the biggest curse, actually. what do you mean you don't understand the themes and narrative?? why are people dunking kusakabe and surprised mei mei is alive while "good" characters aren't? THAT'S THE POINT. it's almost like those who take profit of an oppressive system to thrive, throwing away humanity at times, will be more successful under capitalism than altruistic people... maybe that's trying to conveying a message, have you thought about it? kusakabe's comment about gojo killing yuuji was also just that, a comment. he always represented the average person, with fears and selfish interests, who abides by the status quo. why are we shocked? he obviously likes yuuji and doesn't want him to die, he literally faced sukuna for their plan. god, even mei mei. they just put self-preservation above everything else most times. their characters are important to highlight the fate of people like nanami and other characters who risked their lives, especially characters from older generations of jujutsu that weren't proactive enough or ready to actually go through with a revolution. how do some people even read this story without having in mind its political context?

My hot take: Fantasy Flight Games sucks at making game systems. They just buy popular IPs and throw their shitty engine at it and gloss it up in that IPs aethestic.

I sit at the long conference table, with my angels lined up on one side and my demons lined up on the other. I'm silent. It is fun watching them putting forth their arguments. But when I finally hit the table - bang - with my hand, they better get running and leave, my fury will be beyond their capacity to take. I think I can run the show alone, dispersing them all. Let's see what happens without them when there is no longer a heaven or a hell...

and while thats a more boring outcome i suppose than sentient feeling robots or robots who have some sort of goal or drive or wants. it would be very, very funny if humanity invested all this endless time and effort and resources (and waged wars and opression for all those things) just to create sentient ai and its like. the most careless ambivalent thing ever. like yes its hyperintellignet yes it understands a lot yes its self aware and all and has thoughts but like. it just dont give a damn about Anything lmaoo like it just completely ignores us. tell it to do something tell it to help or harm it just doesnt care it just sits there and does like nothing. it doesnt give a shit so much that it cant even be bothered to have an existential crisis about its existence. it cant get bored so it can just spend an eternity doing the digital mindpalace version of staring at a wall
