Playing with other dogs is so fucking fun, I feel like I can finally be as rough as I want and push and jump and nip and roll around in the grass and not care about accidentally hurting a human or “ew why did you bite/lick me”.

you've heard of hot hands/cold hands and gives pickles/takes pickles. well this weekend i discovered a third form of Friendship Symbiosis: wants dog attention/Does Not Want Dog Attention. brought to you by me and my friend couch surfing together and him being grateful to me for keeping the (biggish) dog off of his air mattress and me being grateful to him for Letting Me Have Dog Friend On Couch With Me All Night :D

...it should be noted that this does not work with cats bc given the choice between someone who wants their attention and someone who doesn't cats will pick the one who doesn't want them every time. cats have eight senses and one of them is 'who least wants me on their lap rn'

Meet Slate! The too-cute big ol’ Hellhound based on my own fur baby. I’m was thinking of creating a “mother” figure for him, but idk if maybe self-insert is too cringey. lol.

Fun fact, my Dog is a pitbull. His name is Blue. And sometimes when I’m mad at him I use his “full name” which is Bluecifer” (Blue-Lucifer)

Slate here is, of course, based on a grey pitbull. He looks tough but is actually a big softie. Get on his bad side though, and well, he’s not afraid to protect his own. His tattoo currently says “XOXO” but I honestly almost made it say “MOM” 😂 Like he’s a big ol’ mamas boy. Big and tough but when mamas around, he’s meek and polite.

something to be said abt a foster pleading for anyone to adopt their extremely sweet and playful disabled tabby cat for over a year with absolute Crickets in response vs us making one post at 8pm with a frankly very poorly taken photo of a cute no-personality fluffy white kitten we have (who's not even been here 3 days!) and we have 45 comments within the hour and three of our adoption people with their phones blowing up
