When I put up my merch polls, someone filling it out asked for something with Ingo and Emmet’s teams, including Ingo’s gurdurr and Emmet’s boldore, because they’re often excluded.

It got me thinking about those two pokemon, and I like to think that at a time when Ingo would get back from Hisui, he’d see that gurdurr and boldore evolved when he was gone. And when Conkeldurr finally sees his trainer again, he’s very excited to see that they match!! Same goatee!!!!!

I think we need to make a collective effort to speak up about getting different skin tones for the mc chibi avatars.

This game prides itself on being "immersive". yet it can't put in the simple effort to change the color of a layer and putting the icons in pack to choose.

There's a slider to change every little detail in our face, yet we can't even get the proper skin tone for our character.

Ive been playing pretty much since the beginning and not once have I brought an mc avatar. its really disheartening because they're really cute!

Im used to being "pale" by default in other otomes, and I would let it go if deepspace didn't have the extent of customization that it does. But it does. There's literally no excuse for this.

Got an email to fill out a survey on the concept of tumblr Premium and related features, and while I'm assuming that I'm not supposed to talk about it too specifically in case some things mentioned in the survey aren't fully implemented, the features listed as possibilities sound pretty solid. Limit increases, monthly benefits (both for the user and as gifts for others), special badges and decorations, etc.

There were no features listed that are already available for free, so they're genuinely looking at offering new features for paid users rather than following in Xitter's footsteps and locking existing features behind a paywall. Likewise, nothing listed would be obtrusive to the current tumblr experience or unfairly favor a paid user over a free user any more than dropping a few bucks on a Blaze already "favors" the person being Blazed. (Which is up for debate, since that whole feature is literally "LOOK AT MY POST, BOY" and is one of the most tumblr things that tumblr has ever done.)

I was extremely leery going into the survey, because "premium" features these days are generally not premium at all, but I'm feeling very positive about the upcoming features now. Overall—and I say this as someone who has worked in webdev and digital marketing, used to pay for icons on LiveJournal for multiple RP accounts, currently pays for ad-free here, and has been doing beta testing for so long I once had the personal email addresses of both the founders of deviantART—it sounds genuinely good! Nothing anyone can't live without, but a good number of fun things that would actually be of interest to the tumblr userbase.

Now I'm just waiting to see how many of the features floated in the survey wind up in the final package, and how much that package is going to cost.

Hello!

For A/B tests, has the thought of rolling out a simple pop-up survey after the "settling in" phase(one that can let users know they're in a testing group, what the test is, and ask them to rate their satisfaction with the change), been thrown around at all?

Satisfaction surveys for features being tested are industry standard, and other than WIP here(only open one day a week) or Feedback tickets(which VERY few people know about or have the desire to do), there doesn't seem to be ANY way for staff to measure quantitative CSAT!

C'mon, Tumblr users LOVE polls!

We actually do qualitative surveys like that from time to time—but this is a process separate from the quantitative work of an A/B test. We often don’t want to do a survey during an actual A/B test because it may influence the result, depending on the size of the audience in the test.

As it is, we already get a huge amount of useful feedback from Support tickets, and we are on the platform reading what y’all are saying! Thanks again for your feedback—it is much appreciated, and it all helps.

Quick engagement test for something me and a couple of friends are throwing around:

If I made some sort of Google form/poll/something else(?) to ask folks about what their fav yog ships are, would people be interested?

I'm mostly intrigued by seeing the data for what some of the the most popular ships in the fandom are, and also why if folks wanna share.

The form will most likely ask for your top 3 ships, and have an optional place to put in why you like them! (This way people can add some smaller ships they really like as well as bigger ones that may be more popular)
