PAUL: We’d arrived in the afternoon and everyone was just settling in. I put on this disguise and picked up a camera and went around and knocked on the guys’ doors. my father asked me if i could time travel to one beatles moment what would it be, but he vastly underestimated how seriously i would take that question because my brain literally could not narrow it down because i had too many questions on the specifics of the type of time travel we’re working with. like am i just there for a day? do i get to interact with the boys or would i just be in the background ? would anything change by my presence being there? if i could change history then easy - i’d want to save brian, in the hopes that that would create the most positive change for them all (and hopefully change things enough to stop john’s death) which i feel like a lot of people would agree with. but if i’m just there to be a witness to one moment? aghhhh. my dad said he’d want to see them sometime in the early days at the cavern or in hamburg which are good choices but, as for me, my brain literally short-circuited as i mentally weighed my options
