June of Doom Day #21
| Memory Loss |
June of Doom Prompt List
"Oh Superhero..."
Superhero sighed as they felt arms wrap around them from behind, a chin resting on their shoulder. "You're thinking too hard..."
Hero's tone was light and playful, but Superhero could hear the concern there. They wanted to know what Superhero was thinking so they could help.
But Superhero couldn't tell them.
How were you supposed to explain to your romantic partner and closest friend that they'd once been a villain? One who they'd kidnapped and who's memory they'd wiped? One who they'd spent the last year lying to to try and get them to properly reform?
And now that they'd succeeded, that it weighed so heavily on their conscience that they couldn't look at their partner without feeling guilty?
"Sorry," Superhero sighed. Sorry for everything. "Just... there's that new Supervillain case that's been stressful."
"Well," Hero hugged them closer. "Is there anything I can help you with?"
Superhero had been trying to keep Hero and Supervillain as far away from each other as possible, not wanting old experiences with Supervillain to possibly trigger Hero's erased memories. Supervillain and Villain had been close, and if anything was going to bring back Hero's memories, it would be them.
So Superhero had made sure Hero worked on every case except for Supervillain's. They made sure Hero was always kept too busy with other things whenever Supervillain became a problem again.
Superhero shook their head. "I think I've got it, it's just overwhelming."
"I'm sorry, darling." Hero rested their head against Superhero's, smiling faintly. "I'm sure you'll get them once and for all."
And hopefully not try and do a memory wipe on them. Villain thought, knowing they shouldn't say that part out loud.

Lab partners
The mission was supposed to be easy. Just sneak into the villains base, grab the research papers, and get out. It was supposed to be simple, in and out! The Hero was just about to walk out of the lab and turn the corner when they heard a something whoosh towards them and felt a pinch in their neck.
Shit..
They pulled out the dart with a wince, looking down at it in horror.
“There you are, you little thief.” They heard Villain speak behind them. They were decked out and their lab coat as per usual, their messy hair falling past their shoulders.
“V-..Villain?..” The hero stumbled back, swaying a bit as they took them in.
“Feeling a bit dizzy, are we? Oh look, now you’re creasing the documents!”
Hero hadn’t even realized they were bracing themself on the wall, the papers getting smooshed between it and their fingers. They were completely helpless as Villain strutted over to them and snatched them out of their hands.
“Do you have any idea how much research it took to finalize these? So much trial and error..failed experiments..set backs! ” The villain rants, waving the papers in front of their face. “No, of course you don’t. Heroes like you always underestimate the importance of science. The dedication and work I’ve put into making these new discoveries! Discoveries, Hero, that could change our world as we know it!”
The villain said with a firm grip on Hero’s shoulders. Even through their daze, hero could see that intense, zealous look in their eyes Villain would always get when they talked about their work. “Hey…at least they’re passionate!” Hero would always think, they found a sort of understanding with Villain. They recognized that determination they had, Hero had it too.
But right now Hero couldn’t very much determine anything, besides from the fact that they needed to get out of there, they couldn’t past out like this! Not in front of Villain! They almost lost their balance as they attempted to stumble back from the Villain, but just as they felt their knees buckling Villain was there to swiftly catch them, holding them up by the waist.
“Woah woah woah, easy there. We wouldn’t want you falling into the chemical cabinet, now would we?”
“Nngh..” the Hero whimpered, desperately trying to pull away from Villain and keep their eyes open.
“Huh..” Villain mumbled, studying Hero’s half-conscious face. A smirk appearing on their own. “You know what, I think I know exactly what I’m going to do with you.”
Hero felt their world turn upside down as Villain hoisted them over their shoulder. The groaned in disagreement but their world was slowly fading to black. The last thing Hero felt was the coolness of the metal slab they were being placed on.
“I’ve been needing some help in the lab, and I think I know the perfect volunteer.” The Villain said almost giddily, running a knuckle over the Hero’s cheek.
“Goodnight~.. My little test subject.”

Goofy Villian Dialogue Prompts because we stan Megamind
"It's not MY fault that the law contradicts my passion!"
"Yes, I broke into the hero's house, no I did not kill them, I just stole their diary. Now where do they mention me"
"I'm just having a BAD DAY OKAY?! MY OUTFIT DOESN'T LOOK HOW IT DID IN MY HEAD! IT LOOKS STUPID! I LOOK STUPID!"
"wait is that the injury from last time? Why did you bandage it like that? That'll do nothing, you need to learn how to bandage your injuries properly if you're going to fight me"
"WHYYYYYYYYYYYY MEEEEE!!"
"fight me, you piece of shit who I find oddly hot"
"why do your outfits look blander than astronaut food? Where's the SPICE?"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE GOING ON VACATION?! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!!"
"I heard you fought another villian last week. How could you?! DO WE MEAN NOTHING TO YOU?!?"
"I'm going through a really tough time right now, OKAY!? My goldfish isn't eating!"

"omg don't actually die! What am I supposed to do if you die?? You know I have no other job than this"
"honestly I was in knitting class and this lady wouldn't stop being a bitch. And I would've killed her but sweet old Bethany was there so I'm taking my anger out on you. I know since you're tied up here I should go forward with my evil plan but honestly you need to know about this annoying idiot. Like sure she's 78 but that just means you have enough experience to maybe not make fun of a beginner like me? Also her apple pie tastes bland, it reminds me of your outfits. But you get me right? ....oh you escaped"
"I am your father.....ha just kidding"
"No I DO NOT have a crush on the hero. And those posters are so I can look angrily at them when I sleep!"
"cute butt"
"Rock bottom? Pfft- no I hit that months ago I've now started digging"
"Jeez can you really not just destroy my machines a little gentler? I'm not rich"
"Even when we were kids I always beat your ass"
"I didn't do it, I promise" "oh yeah? Then why are you laughing" "because whoever did it is a fucking genius"
"hey do you think we can reschedule our fight for next Tuesday? Someone else is tryna kill me and I have to deal with it"
"urgh you're so horrible and have no morals" "hmm I love it when you compliment me like that"

Hiiii, can you please please write something about a hero speaking the name carved into the stone - and waking up a super villain? Thank you!!!
The stone statue loomed over Hero in the midst of the jungle. Looping vines hung over the limbs of the figure, transitioning to the creeping ivy that blanketed the lower half of their body. Hero frowned, unsheathing their sword from their back, and sparked up their power. The flames ignited from their hands, crawling up the hilt and encompassing the blade. With a few quick slashes, the vines fell to the ground, charred.
The sparks died out, but Hero kept their sword in their hand. They circled the statue, cutting away any stray vines. The figure of the statue stood with an arm raised, tensed and prepared for battle. Perhaps showing off, because both rigid hands burned with a stony portrayal of magic.
Hero came back around to the front of the statue. The figure's face was mostly hidden by a loose hood, revealing only a sadistic grin. Hero tilted their head at this, before turning their attention to the statue's base.
A bronze plaque glinted in the sunlight, partially shrouded by ivy. Hero crouched down to it, pulling back the leaves to reveal the sign. It read:
THIS STATUE IS DEDICATED TO--
--and then some strange, long name Hero couldn't immediately mentally pronounce. They moved on to the rest:
PROTECTOR AND AVENGER OF--
Hero's brows pinched. "Regzwoqa?" They said aloud. "What a strange name for a place." They moved back up to the figure's name. "Koo-tuploh-aj..." They paused to lick their lips, and started again. "Koo-tuploh-azajah-kis... zekoon-kapleh?"
As soon as the words left their mouth, a crack sounded out. Hero shot upward, glancing around for intruders and checking around the statue for the source of the sound. At the rear of the statue, in a near-perfect straight line, ran the crack, beginning from the point the base touched the ground to the foot of the figure. Hero's eyes widened slightly at how deep the crack was, just from what? Saying a name?
Was that really what caused it?
Hero rounded the statue and returned to the plague. They said the name again, this time without stumbling.
Hero heard multiple large cracks form and they rushed toward the sound, almost thrown back by the cobweb network across the figure's body. Perhaps one or two more times and the stone would be shattered.
Should they really be doing this? Hero's city needed help, sure, but they had no idea who this person was. They looked really powerful, and... dangerous.
Hero swallowed. The threat that loomed over their city was far too great for Hero to handle on their own. This figure, this hero, had protected a city before, and they certainly had the power to do it again. Hero steeled themselves, circling to the plaque and said the name aloud, one last time, with confidence.
A deafening noise reigned over the sounds of the jungle. Hero stumbled back, shielding their eyes from the dust as the stony blocks cracked and crumbled to the ground. Silence took over just as quickly, and Hero started coughing from the settling dust. And so did the other person, hacking so violently, that Hero dared to blink through their watering eyes to see who had emerged.
The figure stood where the base of their statue remained, descending into a fit that almost concerned Hero. They straightened, rubbing their eyes, and groaned, cursing the hell out of their existence.
Hero swallowed, but didn't dare move. Their heartbeat thumped a steady allegro, and their entire body trembled. The figure removed their hands from their face, blinking their teary eyes, and staring straight at Hero.
Hero took an instinctive step back, their boot crunching on leaves. The other person's expression morphed into a smirk, and then a grin that resembled their stony counterpart. Hero could see it in their eyes, too, and they realized the other hero wasn't wearing their hood.
"Well, well, well," the other hero said. They clasped their hands behind their back and stepped off the platform, heading for Hero. Hero swallowed again, but forced themselves to stay still. This is a hero, after all, and they need their help. "So you're the little sucker that did it, hm? Awoke me from my slumber, brought me back to this miserable, God-forsaken existence."
The other hero stopped in front of Hero, and Hero bristled at how short they were compared to them. "Oh, um, yeah. I did that." Hero lowered their head and scratched the back of their neck. "I'm sorry, but I kinda I needed your help."
The other hero tilted their head, intrigued. They narrowed their eyes. "You're a hero," they noted. "And you need my help?"
"Yes!" Hero's voice cracked. They cleared their throat. "Yes, please. My city is in danger, and it's too much for me to handle on my own." Hero blushed, averting their eyes, but the other hero raised Hero's head up with two fingers under their chin.
The other hero hummed. "Tell me, what's your name?"
"Uh, Hero?"
"Well then, Hero." The other hero chuckled. "Your city is in a lot more danger than you realize." Hero thought they could sense a glimpse of something darker beneath that expression, before it faded. The other hero clapped them on the back, sending Hero stumbling forward with a grunt. "Which is why we need to get to your city as quickly as possible!"
The other hero led Hero out of the woods, and Hero tried to strike up casual conversation. "So, about your name..."
The other hero laughed. "Oh, that thing. Such an unnecessarily long and impersonal reminder of my past life. Please, just call me Supervillain."
So the pair left behind the base of a statue that once was, surrounded by trees and vines and shrubs as far as the eye could see. Unbeknownst to Hero, just a little farther down that path lay a second statue, which stood in waiting. A statue of similar essence to the one Hero encountered, bearing an equally powerful figure, covered in vines and ivy, waiting for the right time to be awakened.
The statue of Superhero.

Infidelity Reprisal Pt. 1
Warnings: Language, Cheating, Blood, Fighting, Gore, Explicitly. F-Hero, M-Villain.
2025
Hero was happy.
She was content with her sweet life.
How could she not?
She had an amazing job in which she saved people as a hero, obviously, and stopped crime altogether. And she basked in the glory of the people knowing her, the whole city knew who she was and what she did.
She had an awesome boss and good friends who supported her.
And she had an amazing family.
Her life was great, well, as great as life could be.
What she didn't expect was to fall for a criminal. Which should have been entirely impossible.
But she did.
And what's more, marry one.
Villain was one of the most vicious villains in the city, known to be the best of the best. Many other minor criminals were afraid of him and that said all about who he was.
But falling for and marrying him? That was entirely absurd, especially for the fact that she hated him at first.
Back when she was young and a new hero, saving people and stopping crime.
Hero crosses her arms, her eyes narrowed on the figure who was stood in the doorway of her apartment. "What are you doing here?" She questioned sharply, eyeing him dubiously as he would attack her at any moment.
Villain merely gave her a charming smile, bringing his hand forward from behind his back. There was a bouquet of sunflowers in his grasp, bright and sweet.
Hero falters, staring at the flowers. She didn't expect him to know what her favorite flowers were, but he did, surprisingly.
"What do you think, little hero?" Villain snorts, gently shoving the bouquet in her hands and walking past her and into her apartment as if he owned the place.
She blinks in surprise as he brushes past her, and she frowns, glancing at him. She fumbles with the door, scrambling after him. "Wha-? Hey-!" She turns to follow him, surprised at his audacity.
Villain takes a seat on her favorite brown coach, getting comfortable and looking around her apartment with a critical eye.
Hero squirms, shifting nervously as she watched him. She had enough people judging her taste and what she liked, she didn't need him to mock her or possibly insult her.
Villain paused, his gaze snapping towards her. "So?" He spoke up, eyeing her. "Do you like the flowers?"
Hero furrows her eyebrows, glancing down at the sunflowers in her hands. She narrows her gaze. "How could you possibly know that sunflowers are my favorite?"
Villain shrugs, leaning back against her coach. "I've been watching you." Is all he says.
"Like that's not creepy." Hero mumbles, making a face.
Villain grins, watching her. "I like to keep an eye on things that I...admire..." He murmurs, his gaze cat-like.
Hero swallows hard, shifting uneasily.
After that day, he kept visiting her. He kept coming back, with more sunflowers, mint chocolate which he also knew was her favorite, roses and sweet cards with words that he had written himself.
This went on for two long years, and Hero had kept it discreet unless her bosses found out and fired her for her incompetence and for the fact that the most notorious villain in the city, liked her.
And by the third year, Hero started falling for him too. It was the little things he noticed; when she got her hair noticed, why she wasn't going to watch the new release of her favorite movie series, why she hadn't gone to the book store, when she got a pair of new boots or leather jacket. He noticed.
At first, she had been skeptical and in denial of her so-called feelings for him. When she had told her parents about Villain, they had immediately scolded her for rejecting him. They were keen on his 'protection' and for the fact that he was Villain.
"Honestly," Mother had said with a shake of her head, disapproval in her gaze. "If a powerful person had tried to Court me, I would gave said yes. Just by your words I can tell that he's enamored with you!"
Hero didn't bother to listen to her. She would always come second to their priorities, the first would always be her young sister, Sister.
Time went by and eventually, Hero acknowledged the so-called feelings she had for Villain. When she and her team were fighting him, she had noticed that his lackeys would go easy on her. She was annoyed by that but said nothing.
When Villain had come to see her next time, she had spoken up.
"I'm not some weakling who needs your help!" She had snapped, glaring at him. "Your stupid minions barely hit me."
"Oh?" Villain raised his eyebrows, smirking. "You wanna be hit? That's a weird kink."
"I'm serious!" Hero slaps his shoulder, clenching her jaw with her ears a pretty pink. "I don't need you to...I don't need them to go easy on me, just because their boss-" She takes a deep breath. "Just because you..."
"What?" Villain leans closer to her, staring onto her beautiful gaze. "Just because I like you, sweetheart?"
Hero gulps nervously, trembling as she noticed the distance between them.
That night, she had her first kiss with him.
Dates happened, discreet and small. They grew into something much bigger, but Hero knew she got lost in something so entirely. A part of her said it was a had idea while the other said it was incredible.
She soon enough answered his sweet and what looked like an expensive proposal, with a yes. The wedding, it had been all her. He had allowed her to decide on everything, the flowers, decorations, cake, music, food, everything. He just wanted to marry sweet her.
And their marriage? Well, it had been such a sweet experience for her. Their marriage was of course a secret from the Hero Industry, they would no doubt call her a traitor and lock both of them up.
He was attentive, caring, kind and very needy with her. She wasn't a good cook, he taught her. She wasn't good at laundry, he had said that all minions took care of everything.
They went out every single night, or well, almost every single night. They both still had jobs they needed to do, and they made it work.
Hero would not hunt him or his people, while Villain would not hurt her or her team.
Life was good.
But Hero had gotten some horrible news, about Sister and her own husband.
Sister sobbed loudly, tears streaming down her face, sat on the coach in her parent's large house. "I-I-I-" She hiccups, "Ca-can't believe it-"
Villain was leaning against the pillar and few feet away. The only person who knew of his identity and marriage to Hero, were her parents and Hero herself. And their parents knew that telling anyone would result in getting hurt, or something possibly worst.
"He cheated on me!" Sister sobs, big fat tears streaming down her face. "On me!" She screams, trembling with heartbreak and rage.
Villain winches.
Hero watches her sister with something akin to pity but also sympathy. "Darling-"
"Don't darling me!" Sister snaps, pushing her Mother and Hero away with a wail. "That asshole is gonna get what's coming to him! Revenge will come for him."
Hero frowns deeply. "Revenge is not the answer. It's a horrible, horrible thing."
Sister scoffs, her eyes teary as she turns to her. "Oh, what would you know!" She snaps, sniffling. "Your husband is still with you, you wouldn't understand! But I will take revenge on that bastard, I don't care!" She snaps, storming away.
Hero had watched her go with sad eyes.
"She's a bit dramatic." Villain had said when they got home. "But not entirely wrong on the revenge part."
"Come on, I don't wanna have this conversation again." Hero says with a frown. "You know I don't agree with that."
"On revenge?" Villain asked, staring at her frown. "If someone cheats oj you, makes you feel like dirt, betrays you, you wouldn't want revenge? I would." He snorts.
Hero furrows her eyebrows. "I just don't agree with the notion. They'll get what's coming for them, but why would you wanna get revenge on them?"
"Because you felt like it?" Villain scoffs. "Because you felt betrayed and you want them to feel what you feel." He rolls his eyes. "You're so soft."
"Then why did you marry me?" Hero asks, crossing her arms, her gaze set on him.
Villain smirks. "Because of your many qualities, my love."
Hero rolled her eyes, a small smile ok her face.
And when she wasn't at home, she was at the Hero Industry, trying to catch villains and criminals.
"What do you mean?" Hero asks, sat in her cubicle in the main office. Her gaze was on Sidekick, who looked anxious as he shifted uneasily on his feet.
"I meant what I said." Sidekick says quietly, leaning closer to her, he hesitates. "Something is going on with the higher up's."
"Like what?" Hero asks curiously.
Sidekick paused. "...it has something to do with...Supervillain." He whispered.
Hero furrows her eyebrows in confusion. "You mean, that big crime lord from 120 years ago?"
Sidekick nodded, his eyes narrowing with contempt. "Yeah. I don't know what's going on, but they said he's back or something."
"But...wouldn't be old and about, 100 or something?" Hero asks in confusion.
Sidekick had only shrugged.
When Hero had asked Villain, he had tensed but answered nonetheless. "Their just baseless rumors, Hero. Don't listen to them. Most of the villains also think he's back but I think it's ridiculous." He scoffs. "Don't worry you're pretty, little head."
"But who is Supervillain, anyway? I mean, I've heard of him from others and kinda read about him in the Old Archives."
Villain pursues his lips in contempt. "He was a big shot criminal in the 1900s. Practically the King of Crime, he was ruthless, vicious and downright cruel to anyone who wasn't in his inner circle."
"Inner circle?"
"Yeah. He had people in his inner circle from high places, mayor's, lords, big business people, and shit like that." Villain rolls his eyes. "He had spies everywhere and anywhere. He got away with a lot of crimes."
"He sounds horrible." Hero frowns, leaning back against the sofa.
"He was." Villain scoffs. "He ruled the criminals of that time, bought them all, he practically built a whole empire. It wasn't until a few decades ago that he disappeared, something must have happened for him to just...vanish. And he hasn't been heard ever since."
Hero continues to frown, contemplating on his words.
"But people and villains alike say he's still out there." Villain says. "Which is ridiculous. But they say he's still out there, planning. That he still rules from the shadows, killing any villain that isn't worthy. They think he's searching for something."
Hero moves closer to Villain, cuddling into his arms. She sighs. "Searching for what?" She asks quietly.
Villain glances down at her. "No one know what..."
Hero felt the forbade feeling that somehow, they would all soon find out.

Thought #222.2
Warnings: talk of abuse, swearing
Previous
Hero sighed and wrapped a towel around herself. She stepped out of the bathroom into her room.
She slowly got dressed and wrapped her hair in the towel. She sighed again and sank into her bed.
Her room was magnificent. A large king bed sat in the middle of the room with the softest sheets. There were large windows lining one wall. The view was stunning.
Apparently, Villain had a safe house high in the mountains.
Hero rolled to her side, facing the windows.
It had been a month since Villain had brought her here.
A soft knock came from her door. Villain walked in with a tray of food.
"I brought you some breakfast." Villain sat the tray down on her sidetable and sat on the bed.
He touched Hero's shoulder. She sat up and wiped her eyes.
"What's going on?" Villain said fast, grabbing her hand.
"Has Superhero even tried to find me?" She asked softly.
Villain took a deep breath. "No. I've been tracking him and he's been..."
"Partying. Sleeping with prostitutes. Drinking until he blacks out." She rolled her eyes. "That's normal."
Villain huffed. "Even when he had you?"
Hero scoffed and undid the towel on her head. "I was just a trophy."
She stood and walked to the bathroom.
"I would be locked away in my room during the parties and expected to stay there."
Villain stood in the doorway.
"I only left one night." She took a deep breath. "He beat the shit out of me and put me back in my room. No pity. No apologies. Just the silent treatment.
"After that I never left. When he would get paranoid he'd-" she took a sharp breath. "Tie me up. He didn't want me to ruin his fun."
Hero turned to Villain. He stepped forward and grabbed her arm. He pulled her into a hug.
"You don't have to be around him anymore. I will protect you from him. He's a piece of shit who doesn't deserve you."
Hero grabbed on to Villain's back. She buried her face in his shirt. He stroked the back of her head.
An alarm sounded in the house. Villain checked his phone.
"Shit."
Hero let go of him. "What-"
Villain rushed out of the bathroom. "I need you to hide. I'll take care of this."
She froze. "Don't lock me in here."
He turned and grabbed her shoulders. "I won't. And you don't have to stay here, but just trust me. Please hide."
Hero nodded and wandered around the room.
Villain turned to the door and ran to the living room.
Superhero was standing in the room. Surrounded by guards.
"Where is my wife. I want my property back."

Stars #2
TW: Blood, guns, broken bones, mcd (Sorta?)
Villain’s eyes traced the twinkling light’s above, Hero’s last request echoing in their mind.
“What can I give you?”
“Stars.”
“You can stare at the stars all you want, but you won’t find what you’re looking for up there. The world is down here.”
“What- oh, sorry.” Villain looked back to Supervillain and watched them place the last bomb against the steel door.
“You ready?” Supervillain held up the trigger, and Villain nodded. The two raced behind the cement wall, barely making it and holding their hands over their ears. Villain gestured and they drew their weapons, racing over the barrier and through the door. Guards dropped left and right as the duo streamed through the halls, stopping at an intersection where the halls split. You go right, Supervillain mouthed, and Villain ran as directed down the empty hallway. The barrel of their pistol entered every room before they did, but each was empty. The final door at the end of the hall flew open with a slam, and Villain whipped to face-
Sidekick.
Hero’s sidekick.
The other took a step back, horror grazing their features. Villain’s finger twitched, but they couldn’t bring themselves to do it. They gazed towards Sidekick, noting how similar in age they were to Hero. Just kids… fighting Superhero’s battles.
Villain hesitated for a moment longer, and they both turned at the same time, running in opposite directions. Screams tickled the air, and Villain shoved into another room. They made eye contact with the person inside, and the crack of the pistol screeched through the air, and both of them staggered away. Crimson began to creep over Villain’s shoulder and they gritted their teeth. They tumbled to the ground with a yelp as Superhero toppled over them, fists flying.
“Stop. Killing. My. Men!” Superhero shrieked, Villain’s cries echoing through the halls as the bones in their nose cracked with each assault. Their hand groped for their pistol which had flown from their grasp. Just a few centimeters-
A second crack filled the air, and Superhero’s blood fell to mix with Villain’s.
One down, an organization left to go.

The Heretic (2)
Previously: June of Doom, Day 9: part 2
Continued snippet from this prompt
*~*~*~*~*
“I’m going to kill you,” Villain hissed and cried out when Other Villain pressed down hard on Villain’s sprained wrist.
“You are terrifying, Villain. Truly a menace to society. Let’s see if I can make you scream loud enough for Hero to hear alright? Round two?”
“Round two,” Villain agreed. They winked at Other Villain and muttered under their breath. Other Villain scrambled to get up and away, but they didn’t manage to escape the blast of blue light that shot out of Villain’s closed eyelid. Villain sat upright, grunting as they rolled their sleeve up and activated their healing rune. It glowed an ugly green and Villain bit back a scream as their bones righted in their hand.
Villain twirled their wrist as they stood, flexing their fingers. “You’re such a dick,” Villain said, rubbing the water droplets off their jacket. “This is why you have no friends.”
“I have friends in high places,” said Other Villain getting to their feet on the other side of the road. “Why do you think I’m here?”
“Because you’re employer asked you to be. You claim to hate Heroes and are besties with the top ranked. Doesn’t that seem a bit hypocritical, Other Villain?”
Other Villain shrugged. “Maybe you should ask yourself that.”
A car passed between them and when Villain could see the other side of the road it was empty. Other Villain was gone. A hand shot out of the earth and grabbed Villain’s leg, almost tripping them. Again. Villain whirled, stamping at the hand but it was already gone. A whistle behind them and two hands on their shoulders and Villain was kissing the dirt again.
Villain rolled, getting their feet under them facing the mouth of the damp alleyway, activating the rune on their left palm with a muttering of magic. It glowed an eerie yellow. Other Villain popped out again on the fire escape to Villain’s right. Sitting casual.
“I thought you weren’t a Heretic anymore? Didn’t you renounce your faith?”
Villain glowered at them from below. “Are you here for a catch-up? Or a fight. I don’t have the energy for both.”
“Maybe I’m just trying to wear you out,” said Other Villain and he melted into the metal grate, disappearing from view.
Villain took a steadying breath.
Waiting.
…there.
Villain turned too late. Other Villain caught Villain’s wide left hand, directing the erupting fire to the wet ground. Steam rose as Villain used their shoulder to barrel Other Villain into the wall, freeing their hand and putting it palm first over Other Villain’s throat.
Other Villain winked, taking hold of Villain’s burning hand and melted back into the brick wall. Taking Villain’s hand with them. Villain realised too late. Their fingers and palm was submerged in the wall, the bricks turning solid around Villain’s hand. Villain cursed, trying to pull their hand free but it was like it was fused in the wall, moulded to it since it’s inception.
“It’s a weird feeling, isn’t it?” Other Villain said. Villain swung their free arm wide behind them, their leg following suit as their body turned to face Other Villain. Other Villain smiled at Villain from the opposite wall, too far for Villain to reach. “I wouldn’t say it’s painful, just… weird. Imagine your whole body doing that.”
“Let me free,” Villain said and Other Villain laughed out a no as they glanced down at their watch.
Other Villain looked back up at Villain and shrugged, pulling out their packet of cigarettes. “We have some time. You want one?”
Villain scoffed, looking towards the Academy. “You know I don’t do that anymore.”
“There’s apparently a lot of things I don’t know about you, Vil,” said Other Villain, clinging their zippo lighter closed and pocketing it again. “Like how you renounced your Heresy and now here you are—“
“With my hand stuck in a wall.”
Other Villain shrugged. “I’m not saying you’ve made good decisions. Just that you’ve changed.”
Villain looked back at Other Villain for a beat, then sighed and held their free hand out. “On second thoughts.”
Other Villain grinned ear to ear, crossing the distance between them and giving Villain their cigarette. They leaned against the same wall as Villain now, a leg bent and their foot resting behind them. Villain wondered if he did that because he thought he looked cool and mysterious like that.
“Maybe not everything has changed,” said Other Villain.
“Well… I guess we’re two of a kind. Never thought I’d live to see the day you worked with a hero.”
Other Villain was silent for a while. Then they took a deep breath and let it out, nodding slightly. “Me either. Certainly didn’t expect to be fighting you tonight. I had a date.”
Me too, Villain thought despairingly. Other Villain pushed off the wall and stood in front of Villain, face not entirely sure of themselves.
“Let’s make a deal then yeah? I don’t want to beat the shit out of you, you don’t want the shit beaten out of you… how about you just scream for me? Lure Hero down here.”
“I’m not leading Hero to an ambush,” said Villain and Other Villain sighed, stepping forward and smoothing down the lapels on Villain’s overcoat.
“Why don’t you just make things easy for yourself? The Villain I knew was so selfish and predictable,” Other Villain whined. “Why do you have to act so… so—“
“Heroic?”
Other Villain smiled. A fond smile. “I was going to say stupid but yeah. I guess they’re synonymous.”
Villain put the cigarette out on the brickwall they were currently half inside of. “Okay. I’m ready. Do your worst. I won’t scream.”
Other Villain sighed. “That’s what they all say…”

Civilian x Villian
Civilian stared down at the hog-tied man at his feet. His face matched the one in the security camera when the bar was robbed two nights ago. Civilian tapped the man at his side with his foot to check his breathing. Yip still alive so at least he didn't have to explain that to the cops, the bastards were already sniffing around his bar, harassing the working women.
Civilian bend down and hunched the guy over his shoulder, slamming the door closed with the metal toe of his boot. It was 10 in the morning and the bar was closed with only him there to make sure the business wasn't robbed again.
Two nights ago the bar got robbed while civilian was taking the day off. The place was fully trashed with the registers being bashed In and some of the bar shelves completely smashed to pieces. If it wasn't for the workers sleeping upstairs being alright he would've hunted the thief down himself, but it seemed like he didn't have to anyway.
Somebody was looking out for them and Civilian could make a guess at who it was. The red rope, which Civilian didn't want to think to deeply about, that was tied around the thief and the calling card tucked into the collar of the unconscious man’s shirt didn't make it very hard.
Civilian released a deep sigh. He was going to have to make up some big story to explain this, which would mean that he would have to postpone his nap and go talk to the cops. But still, with all of the work ahead of him, he couldn't help but smile at the rat his thoughtful little kitten brought him.

Prompt 1 --- Last Ditch Effort
"I'm impressed by you," Superhero softly said.
"Yeah, yeah," Supervillian's sidekick scoffed, "You'll be shocked by my sister's ability over mine."
She pushed Superhero roughly farther down the hall towards Supervillian's door. Tripping over a small rock, Superhero fell unable to catch herself with her arms bound behind her.
"You are surprisingly strong for someone so frail looking."
"I'm not in the mood for such vain flirtatious approaches. Supervillian is waiting for you." She yanked Superhero up and dragged her to the door. "She'll be much harder to convince to let you go than I am. Good luck!"

No good deed goes unpunished.
Smoke filled the Hero’s lungs as they stumbled forward, legs moving shakily under them. The only thing that reassured them that they were still alive was the pounding beat in their chest and the blood seeping through the fingers. There was fire, everywhere, for as far as they could see. They flinched as they heard something smash to the ground, snapping them out of the shock. The city, their city, the one they had worked their entire life to protect was now crumbling underneath their feet. They looked around briskly, trying to see if they could find any face they would recognize, Superhero, Sidekick, Other Hero, someone! They fell to their knees, crying out in pain as the held their hand up to their face. All they saw was red. They could see fire reflected back to them in their own blood. It was all around them now, in their lungs, in their eyes, in their hair, their curls now frizzed out and blowing around them, tickling their face and waving around like a flag of surrender. They could feel it in their heart to, that burning voice telling them to “keep fighting!” or “get up!”
As they knelt next to the steps of the now burning town hall, they wished again that someone, anyone would come and help them. Come and save them so that for once could finally get just a moment to rest. Their prayers were soon answered in the most paradoxical way possible because when they looked up again they saw none other than Villain themself.
“Well well well…look at what we have here.” The villain drawled, their voice calm despite all of the chaos around them. But, the Villain thrived in chaos, the Hero supposed. Why shouldn’t they feel anything but serene in this tumultuous climate?
The hero tried to speak, but all it did was send them into a coughing fit. They pushed themself up onto their feet, catching their balance.
“St-stay away from me..”. The Hero choked out, sounding less like an order and more like a plea.
The villain winched, a false look of pity etching their face. “That’s quite the scratch you’ve got there.”
Hero gripped their side tighter, sneering up at their arch enemy “Why are you doing this, Villain?”
“Oh well you know what they say, no good deed goes unpunished.” Villain smirked as they made their way down the steps, careful to not slip on the Hero’s own blood. “And besides, wouldn’t want to miss that look on your face for the world..”
“No that’s not..you can’t just do this Villain.”
“Oh?” The Villains eyebrow raised “I cant?”
“You… Please Villain, don’t do this.” The Hero breathed out the words. They’d hardly ever begged for anything in their life. They knew it wouldn’t get them far, especially with the Villain. But..what else could they say?
“Oh! This is my favorite part!” The Villain laughed, clapping their hands together gleefully. “What will you beg me for, Hero? To spare your life? No…you’re much too selfless for that. Perhaps the lives of your team? The lives of the “innocent civilians” you’ve fought so hard to protect?” The Villain was mocking them, that much was clear. Although they couldn’t really tell with the ringing in their ears and their vision starting to fade. What would happen if they just…
“Please Villain, stop this! I’ll…I’ll do anything..Just please, leave them alone..” The Hero trailed off, their knees were now on the ground again, aswell as their hands. They were bracing themself, why was the world spinning so fast?
The Villain clicked their tongue, shaking their head. “Always the Heroics with you, Hero.” The Hero could feel a hand, gently petting their hair. “But, since you’ve asked so nicely..”
The next thing the Hero knew there was a hand under their knees and a hand on their back. They were being hoisted up right into the villains arms.
“It seems that you’re coming with me, dear Hero.”
And that was the last thing Hero knew before everything faded to black.

Prompt: The villian comes around the corner, sneaking into the hero's house while they're supposed to be celebrating with friends. Only to see the hero slumped against the wall, drunk.
-------------------------
The villian came around the corner. Only to see the hero all alone in her room slumped against the wall with bottles surrounding her.
"Wh- what are you doing?" The villain asks.
"Huh?" The hero raises her head to look at him. "Oh... It's you" she says sadly.
"Yeah it's me so get up and fight me" he says urging her to get up.
"Nahh let's just end it here, I am tired, you win I lose, happy?"
Confusion fills up the villain's face "N-no, not happy. See? I am not happy. What do you mean, what's going on? You always fight for this place and the people of it"
The hero hums "yeah I guess but it's not like I owe it to them" a hunt of resentment seeps through her calm voice.
"Wha- but you grew up here with these people shouldn't you want to protect them?"
"I can say the same about you too. You weren't the only one they treated like an outcast because of what you could do. I was treated the same way but when you decided to show up all powerful and mighty I had them choice to either join you and prove them correct or fight you and prove them wrong. I did what I thought was the right thing..."
The villain gapes and the hero continues "everyone looovves the hero until they get all up and close with them and realize it's not all fun", she goes to grab another bottle but before she can the villain quickly snatches it
"Hey!! I need THAT. How else am I supposed to act like everything is fine if I can't let it out in the solitude of my own home and drink my problems away" the villain sets the bottle aside, not listening.
" This isn't about the town's people is it. Someone close to you? Who? Viviana? Cobey? Never liked them, always thought they were kinda a weird duo to take up as a guard" the villain said clearing some of the tissues and bottles so he could sit.
"No it wasn't them" the hero mumbled out.
"Then who? I really don't think you are close to that many people" the hero hummed softly in agreement.
"W-wait I didn't mean it as an insult I just meant that there aren't many people who you trust... wait that doesn't make it better does it?" The villian winced.
"Well if it isn't them then who-" The villain's eyes widen as the realization sets in. "No..." He whispers and the hero just nods.
"Liam? How? He is the last person I would've guessed to be the reason for all this" he gestured to the bottles and pillows.
"He doesn't know that I am like this. I acted all calm and composed in front of him." She slumps "well I hope I did because otherwise I just seem like a sad lonely idiot"
"B-but that doesn't make any sense... Yo-you guys were in love. He was the only person I couldn't even think of trying to blackmail because he was so loyal to you".
The hero let out a chuckle. "It's not his fault really... Mostly mine for putting the kingdom and the people of it before everything else".
"Of course it's not your fault I just don't understand what happened". The villain says.
"He wanted to settle down, and I couldn't do that, he wanted a family and I couldn't give it to him, he wanted me to not put the city before everything else and I once again couldn't do it." she let out a sob. "I let something that took everything from me destroy the one thing I had left"
"Oh..." Is all the villain could let out. He didn't know how to comfort anyone or if he even should comfort her.
"The worse part is that he was so nice about it too" her voice cracks.
"He said that he couldn't do it, that he couldn't live like this when I put everything else before him. But he also said that it didn't mean that he wasn't going to be there for me. He said he would still be my friend and will always fight beside me" she let out another sob. "H-he wished me luck and said that he hoped that I could learn to put myself before the city... H-he said he would be there for me but that he can't wait forever and this is something I have to learn myself" by now she was full on sobbing.
The villain didn't know what to say or do. "You know...I had a similar experience too" he says. Where did that come from? Stupid.
But now the hero was looking at him with curious eyes. Those eyes wide, and for a moment almost forgetting the tears they had just shed. He sighed, it's not like she was going to remember this anyways and it's better than listening to her sob.
"She was the most talented and beautiful woman I had very seen. She still is..."
He glanced at her only to find her staring up at him urging him to continue. He sighed.
"She was the only on who understood me, she knew what I was going through without me even telling her. She didn't have her life any better than mine but she still went around with a smile on her face that made my day. She was the light at the end of the tunnel, the reason I decided to wake up every morning...and then I ruined it. I became this. Even after everything she did for me I knew I couldn't live like that forever and I didn't want her to have to either... But she didn't agree. She believed there was a better way. But I knew that was just hope and hope is dangerous. So as much I wanted to I couldn't let myself become the hopeful boy I used to be waiting for a day where everything would be fine. So I left..."
He finished and looked at her.
"that's not a good ending" she pouted.
"He let out a sad chuckle "No...it's not, is it? But I guess we can't always have a happily ever after" He glanced at her again.
Her bright eyes, the one that shined so bright everytime she smiled.
"Do you miss her? Do you regret it? does the pain ever stop?" Her voice cracked at the last sentence.
" Yes... I miss her every day" and he did but not because he didn't get to see her but because every time he did she acted as if she didn't know him, as if everything they went through didn't matter like becoming...this, erased everything else.
"And I do question if she was right. That if I hadn't become the villain everything would have been fine but I also know that that's just wishful thinking..." He sighed.
"The pain doesn't go away...well at least for me it didn't but it gets better over time. Surround yourself with the people who love you most and soon you'll understand that that's just how somethings happen. Unlike me you didn't lose someone, maybe as a lover sure but from what you told me it seems as if you aren't losing him as a friends or someone you care about and who cares about you." He says.
"What about you? Did you lose her?" She asked, her voice slightly more sober now.
"I like to think not forever" he said as a sad smile made its way onto his face.
That was one thing he let himself hope for, the only time he let himself be a little boy again and believe that one-day everything would be okay.
The villain let out a breath getting up.
"Let's get you cleaned up first alright?" The hero nodded as the villain helped them stand up.
The moment she was on her feet she stumbles forward. The villain caught her before she could fall. "Sorry... It's hard to walk after you just drowned yourself in..."
She squinted her eyes and looked towards the bottles "whatever that is. What is that anyways?" She asked.
The villain confused looked at the bottles and his eyes widened. "What the- you were drinking straight up hard liquor, no wonder you're like this. Come on I'll carry you"

MUTANT / SUPERHERO RP
Hello! 😊 My name is Myth, and I use they/them pronouns. I’m a 21+ roleplayer seeking 18+ roleplay partners. This is a specific request for anyone interested in a mutant or X-Men-style roleplay! 🧬 For this request, I’m looking for bxb pairings or bxg, with me playing the female character. Below are a few dynamics I’d love to explore! For simplicity, I’ll refer to my character as M/c and yours as Y/c:
1. Two Mutants on the Run
The world is a dangerous place for mutants. 🏃‍♂️💨 They’re hunted, imprisoned, and ostracized simply for existing. Constantly on the run, M/c and Y/c cross paths while fleeing from their pursuers. Recognizing that their odds of survival are better together, they team up.
As they navigate this hostile world, their bond deepens, and what starts as a partnership evolves into a heartfelt romantic connection. ❤️
2. Lab Rats
M/c and Y/c are mutants who have been captured and subjected to torturous experiments, brutal training, and psychological conditioning by a secretive lab. 🧪🔗 They may have been born mutants or turned into them by the lab—either option works! Brainwashed into loyalty, they’re forced to carry out dangerous missions for their captors.
However, when M/c and Y/c are paired together, something changes. They form a close, protective bond, finding solace and hope in one another. As their connection grows, the lab sees their bond as a threat. M/c and Y/c must find a way to escape, survive, and protect the fragile happiness they’ve discovered. 💔🌟
3. Superheroes
This setup is open to interpretation, allowing us to build something unique! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Some dynamics I particularly enjoy include:
Hero x Villain 🖤❤️
Hero x Cop/Officer 🚨🛡️
I’m happy to brainstorm and develop a story that works for both of us, so feel free to bring your ideas to the table! 📝✨
If any of these prompts catch your eye, let me know, and we can start building an exciting story together! 😊

Gangster's Wife / Pt. 3
Warnings: Mature Themes, Violence, Language, Spicy, Horny.
Part 4
.....................
"Oh, dear."
Hero scrambled all around her apartment, her eyes narrowed as she went into a frenzy.
Her beautiful black dress clung to her curves, with short sleeves, an off shoulder design and showing her collarbone and shoulders. A slit was near her right leg, for more access to kick and fight if needed. Her hair was open and curled, since she looked better when it was free. Hee makeup was neat, nude and neutral.
Nothing over the top. It was just classical and elegant.
Hero scrambled around as she put on her heels, glancing at the clock. She might be late by a few minutes, but then again, it's not like anyone else would be. She quickly put on the Black platform heels, a series frown on her face.
She sighs, patting her skirt as she let out a deep breath. Shaking her head, she quickly grabs her clutch, her invite and her keys, quickly walking out of her apartment and locking the door.
.......
The gala seemed so boring and peaceful, with every hero and villain talking rather calmly.
Hero sighs, walking around with a flute of champagne as the hard-drive felt heavy in her clutch. She looked all around, looking for any familiar face.
The walls and colors were gold and shallow, showing the power and wealth the hero industry had. Along with the many. The chandeliers were all lit with candles.
Many tables were set around the sides, with different appetizers that were sweet, sour, spicy and exotic. A few mini bars were also around the room, with barmen shaking their drinks and laughing heroes and villains alike.
The gala was a way to keep the villains tame, to keep the heroes good. It was supposed to show the true nature of how the two sides worked together. They may have been fighting each other, against each other, but they could also maintain peace and be good to one another.
Currently, the music was playing as many people danced to the classical song. Heroes and villains all talked with another, some civil, some kind and some not nice. A few hard glares, a few arguments had happened but it was nothing new. Especially with the rivalries and hated villains and stupid heroes against each other.
Hero pursues her lips, shaking her head as she took a sip of her drink. It was all stupid to her, heroes and villains would never understand each other.
"My, my, my, don't you look ready to fight."
Hero turns around, glaring as she spots Villain in front of her, smirking. She scowls. "What do you want?"
Villain grins. "I want a lot of things. Including a bit of info on all your precious heroes. But alas, that is only a dream." He sighs. "As your team only keeps stopping me."
Hero smiles fakely. "Well, whenever we do catch you, you somehow escape." She eyes him warily. "Your not going to do anything, right? This gala is supposed to show peace and tranquility." She crosses her arms, gripping her clutch tightly and pulling it closer.
She can't have anyone finding out that most of the information on many top heroes was in her hands, it would be too easy for the villains to steal it and gain info on them. And then how would they fight them if they knew their weaknesses?
"Peace and tranquility," Villain snorts, taking a sip of his drink. "Please, Hero. You and I both know that's bullshit. We hate each other, we all do. We're just forced to show we can be tame together so the public can be affirmed or some shit."
Hero frowns, her eyes going all around the large and luxurious ballroom. She looks back at him, playing with her feet as she swished the bottom of her dress with her heels.
Villain smirks. "And even if I did try, it would lead to a very big, very chaotic fight." He starts walking away. "And we wouldn't want that, now would we?"
Hero watched him go with narrowed her eyes, clutching her clutch tightly, she looked around warily.
She bites her lower lip, spotting Leader and Superhero talking to the hero council. Mentor seemed to be relaxed and poised, along with everyone else. It seemed that Superhero and Leader hadn't told them yet. They hadn't told them of the lead or clue. Or for the fact what had happened and what Superhero had ordered them to do.
Hero frowns, tilting her head in her usual cute way as she watched them.
This was bad and stupid at the same time. If the council found out, they wouldn't be happy. But then again, they would be happy if he was ever caught.
Hero snorts at that, shaking her head humorously. No way would that happen. He was like a shadow, lurking around but never getting caught. No one knew who he was, no one.
Even the villains feared him, especially the most powerful villains. They wouldn't even say his name for fear of provoking him, she scoffs at that. It was stupid but very nice as it showed just how strong his reputation was, even if he had never showed his face.
People thought he was myth, many civilians did. Many of the lower villains and heroes did. But they knew the truth, he was no myth. He was true as could be. He was the King of the Criminal World. He ruled it, even if he was never officially elected. He ruled it. Everyone knew this.
Hero looks back at Leader who was looking around warily, his gaze series. He was stupid, he really was. Along with Superhero. They really should tell the council of what had happened and what Superhero himself had ordered. They would be delighted but also exhausted as the attempts would be futile.
No one could ever catch the bastard.
Hero hummed, glancing down at her flute of champagne. She sighs before downing it in one go, swallowing the fizzy drink. She puts it on a empty tray before walking away, her hips swaying.
All of a sudden, a fire alarm blares out loudly, causing everyone to panic and scream. Many heroes look around in anger and annoyance, getting into positions as they looked around for any sign of danger. Many villains also run along and get into position, looking around wildly.
A few were running along and scrambling away, towards the exit and trying to leave the ballroom in a frenzy.
Hero's eyes widen in horror. "Villain," she hissed in irritation as she noticed the familiar armed goons running towards where Superhero's office was, located in the east hallway on the third floor.
"Hero has the hard-drive!"
Hero froze when she heard the yell, noticing it to be one of Villain's men, who was pointing at her. She swallows hard when she notices many of the villains turn to look in her direction, along with a few heroes.
"In her clutch!"
"Fuck," Hero mumbles before she quickly turns and runs out of the room, she hears a few yells and battle cries. She glances back to see a fight ensue between the heroes and villains. Along with an annoyed Superhero and Mastermind, who tried to control the situation which was now getting out of hand.
Hero panics as she hears the yells and footsteps of many villains running after her, she runs faster, gripping her clutch tightly. She nearly trips but rights herself, hurrying down a long corridor in panic.
She turns many corridors and corners, trying to confuse the crowd of villlains after her.
Hero huffs, turning a corner and leaning against the wall, panting as she breathed for air. She takes deep breathes, her lungs burning. Atleast she still knew she could still run in heels. She sighs, hearing the voices of Villains.
"Where did she go?!"
"Where's Hero!"
"Where the fuck did she go?!"
"Get off of me!"
"Leave! That hard drive is mine!"
"Make me!"
Hero let's out a sigh of relief as she hears a few footsteps run down the opposite hallway, with many arguments between the villains.
Biting her lower lip, she opens her clutch and hesitatinly pulls the hard drive out. She stares at it, debating what to do and where to hide it.
She makes a face. She looks around before stuffing the hard drive in her bra. She sighs in relief before she turns and heads down the corridor.
Her smile falls off when she sees who's in front of her. She gulps, seeing Villain stand before her with his men behind him. Her heart starts to race in fear and anticipation, she eyes him.
"I knew I should have cuffed you," Hero scowls.
Villain smirks, his hands in his pockets. "Kinky." His eyes narrow as he snaps his fingers. "Grab her and bring me the hard drive." He pauses. "Unless, you'll hand it over."
"Never." Hero glares hard at him.
"Fine by me," Villain shrugs.
All at once the men charge at her, Hero throws the clutch at them and they fight over it to grab it. She watches in amusement, smirking as she slowly backs away.
"It's empty, boss." One of the men spoke up.
Villain's eyes snap towards the young but also old hero. "You hid it. Where? Give it to me."
Hero chuckles. "Sure, come and get it if your bold enough." She then gets into a fighting position, her eyes smug and not at all looking like a hero.
Villain clenches his jaw in anger. "You bitch! Get her you idiots!"
Hero jumps back before punching the man in the face, causing him to groan. She then kicks his chest, causing him to be pushed back on a another man.
She then cartwheels, before wrapping her legs around one of the men's neck and twisting it, causing him to cry out at the pain.
She gets off and runs to another, punching and kicking. She flips in the air before grabbing his wrist and twisting it. The man groans, whimpering.
Hero then kicks him in between the legs before turning towards the last two, smirking and beckoning them forward.
They charge at her and she immediately dives down, punching one of their face and kicking the other. She grabs both their heads and hits them against each other, smirking as they fell down and in pain.
Hero's eyes snap up towards Villain, who was now glaring at her with hatred, looking annoyed. He clenched his jaw. "Give me the hard drive. Give it to me," he states, stepping forward threateningly.
Hero hums. "Let me think," she giggles, shaking her head. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Did I mention no?" She raises an eyebrow. She quickly turns to dart down the opposite hallway.
Villain growls, running after her. "Hero! Come back here! Give me the hard drive!" He yells out, grunting as he turns left down a corridor.
Hero grunts, turning a sharp corner. As she runs, she debates what to do and what not to do. Fuck it, why should she be scared of Villain? It's not like he'll grab it off her, no one has the guts to grab it from her from where she put it on her. She pauses and turns around, as he comes to stop a few feet away, glaring at her.
"Give it to me," Villain glares hard at her. "Come on, Hero. Don't be a pathetic little hero, give it to me."
Hero gulps, looking around as the hallway only consisted of Villain. She looks at him, her heart racing. Her eyes widen when she turns to see more men run behind her.
"Shite,"
Villain's lips quirk up. "Whoever gets the hard drive from Hero, I'll reward them." He spoke up, his eyes full of malice.
Hero gulps as she turns to see all the villains, minor assistants and henchmen behind her, eyeing her like she was some sort of weak pray.
Other Villain smirks. "Fine by me, come here Hero...." He purred, stepping forward with a creepy grin.
Hero takes a deep breath, shaking her head as she loosened herself. "Alright. Bring it," she says, before they charge at her.
She dodges most of them, ducking down and punching them in the throat or kicking them back. Her heels were good for that, that shit actually hurt.
She yelps, jumping back as a henchmen continues to throw punches at her. She narrows her eyes before ducking behind him and kicking the back of his knees, she then punches his face, knocking him out.
"Can't one of you get her!" Villain groans, leaning against the wall as he watched with growing irritation. He watched as she defeated almost ever villain easily, afterall, her skills were unparalleled.
Hero dodges another hit and instead kicks him with her heel, hearing him groan in pain. She smirks and punches him back. She looks down at her now brushed knuckles, she shakes them off and instead continues fighting the others.
"Come here," Other Villain grins.
Hero only rolls her eyes, punching his face easily. She watches him whimper before he falls down on the floor, she put a hand on her hip and tutted. "He really should train more,"
"Couldn't agree," Villain mutters.
Hero lunges at the last man, kicking him in the nose, his vision blurred and he grunted, falling to the floor. She sighs, rubbing her sore knuckles with a frown.
Villain scowls, getting off from where he was leaning against the wall. "Hero. Give me the hard drive. You know me. I wouldn't release the information,"
Hero narrows her eyes. "No, but you'd sell it."
Villain pauses, clicking his tongue. "Yes, well. I need a way to get rich and important." He shrugs before turning his dark stare on her. "Give it to me."
Hero starts to back away, shaking her head. "No..." she holds her hands up. "Do you really think I have it?"
Villain scoffs. "You may have hidden it. If you hadn't, then why did you run?"
Hero pauses. "I'm not giving it to you," she shakes her head before saying.
Villain clenched his jaw. "When I get my hands on you-"
"Touch her, and you die."
Hero froze, her whole figure stiffening up as she heard the cold and powerful voice. Her heart leaped, racing faster in her chest. She dug her nails in her palms, feeling the pain and welcoming it. She let's out a breath.
No. No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. This couldn't be happening. She had hoped, begged and pleaded that she was wrong, that the clue was wrong. She didn't want him here. Fear grew in her as her eyes snapped up.
Villain blinks, slowly turning around to see two men stood behind him, a few feet away. Both of them had had a powerful but dangerous aura, especially the man who stood in front of the other man.
Hero felt her heart lurch. She discreetly patted her chest, checking if the hard drive had fell out. It hadn't, it was still stuffed in her bra.
Villain narrows his eyes, but stayed silent, not making any move. Even if he didn't know who these men were, the aura they gave off was quite dangerous. "Who are you?" He finally spoke up, his voice hesitant.
The other man spoke up. "Forgive the interruption, Villain." He didn't seem sorry, only in disdain as he looked at the criminal. "But I'm-"
"Right Hand," Hero breathes out.
Villain's eyes glance towards her.
The man looks at her, smiling. "Yes. Right Hand."
"Right Hand, that means...." Villain slowly looks over at the other men with pure fear. He gulps, trying to stay strong. "I, I, I, forgive me." He looks down, stepping back slightly.
Right Hand smirks.
Hero felt her heart race as the familar man began to walk towards her.
Villain watched with fear, anger and confusion. He needed that hard drive from that puny human. How could, how could he know about it?
Right Hand breathes out, watching his boss.
Hero looks at the tall man stood in front of her, staring at her intently. "Supervillain," she whispers quietly, his name a sweet essence on her tongue.
Villain narrows his eyes, willing his hands to stop shaking with fear. Why should he be scared? He really shouldn't. He was villain afterall. He looks between the two, perplexed.
Supervillain's lips quirk up in a small smirk, his eyes dark. He steps closer so his breath hit her face, she clenches her fists together.
He hums. "The hard drive," he spoke quietly.
Hero only stared at him in a daze. "I don't have it," she half heartily lied. His voice was rich and smooth, causing her skin to tingle.
Supervillain raised his eyebrows. "No?" His hands grabbed her hips, causing her to jolt and let out a soft gasp.
Right Hand averts his eyes, looking away from his boss and the hero.
Villain's eyes watched them, interested and confused. He narrowed his eyes, frowning and shifting in his spot, feeling uncomfortable slightly.
Hero takes a sharp intake of breath as his hands ghosted over her hips to her waist, she watches as his eyes raked over her form with appreciation. She felt her breath hitch when he paused, meeting her eyes.
Her heart drops when he smirks. He knew. But he wouldn't, would he? He didn't seem to be bold, no, that's wrong. He was bold. But he wouldn't do it in front of Villain and Right Hand, would he?
Hero only raised her eyebrow, staring at him.
Supervillain chuckles. "I see, smart and clever." He hums, his hands ghosted over her chest. "No one would dare to grab it, yet...." His fingers dipped in her bra, grabbing the hard drive and gently pulling it out.
Hero ignored the flush of her cheeks, feeling his fingers linger on her collarbone as he pulled his hand away. She could feel tingles on her skin, her eyes staring at him intensely, she gulps as her eyes glance towards the hardrive. Maybe he was bold, really bold.
Villain chokes, looking away as his face turned red in humiliation and embarrassment. His eyes grew with shock and partly disgust, what was happening?
Right Hand only sighs, looking back at them.
Supervillain hummed as he stared at the small black thing. "Very clever." He meets her gaze.
Hero only stares at him, before she blinks and her eyes go to the hard drive with a panic. She meets his gaze again with a frown.
Supervillain takes out another hard drive, similar to the first before gripping her hand and putting it in her palm.
Hero could feel her stomach churn and her heart leap as she felt his cold skin on her hand, his fingers brushing against hers. She let's out a breath, meeting his gaze.
Supervillain finally eyes her up and down, a small smirk on his face. "You look ravishing, Mi Amor." He chuckles before turning and throwing the hard drive at Villain, who catches it. He looks up in surprise, swallowing hard.
Right Hand sighs.
Hero's lips part, frowning as she looked back at the copy of the hard drive.
Supervillain leans in towards her, his breath hot on her ear. "Stay near the left of the entrance, wait there." He whispers before pulling away and addressing the criminal.
"Ye-yes?"
"You won't bother Hero anymore," Supervillain hums, fixing his cuff links casually. "You'll instead only bother and annoy and attack her team. Not her." His gaze is dark. "Got it?"
Villain gulps fearfully, nodding eagerly.
Supervillain smiles, but it held no humor. "Good." He nods, before sparing one last glance towards Hero before walking away with Right Hand following him with a serious expression.
Villain grins happily, looking at the hero smugly but it falls when he sees the shock and star struck expression on her face, along with....longing? He frowns. However, he quickly hides the hard drive and stands up straight when the hero council run over.
"Hero!" Leader calls out, the team behind him. Superhero and Mentor, along with the council walk behind them. "Is the hard drive safe?" He asks with a frown.
Hero silently holds it up, not looking at him. She just held it out, not opening her mouth.
Leader sighs in relief, grabbing it. "It's safe,"
"Oh thank goodness," Hero 2 sighs. "It's safe."
"Yeah, the villains attacking us really wanted those documents." Sidekick nods.
Teammate frowns but also nods.
Teammate 2 glances at Villain. "What happened, Hero?" She asks suspiciously.
Hero only shakes her head. "Nothing. Absolutely, nothing." She looks down.
................
Later that hour, Hero stood outside. As soon as all the heroes and most of the villains and sidekicks were gone, and she was alone, she let out a yell.
She immediately begins to pace, muttering curses. "I'm so stupid. I'm so stupid. I'm so stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid." She paced back and forth. "Why am I so stupid, this wasn't supposed to happen!" She yells. She smacks her forehead.
Hero could feel a headache coming on, she groans and rubs her head. "Why did this have to happen? Why couldn't I have stayed at home and ate ice cream?" She frowns and hugs herself, glancing at her black coat.
"I really don't understand what happened."
Hero's eyes snap up to see Villain, she sighs and stands up straight. "What do you want?" She crosses her arms.
Villain pursues his lips, staring hard at her. He doesn't say anything, only shaking his head and letting out a breath.
Hero frowns. She goes to say something but a limo pulls up in front of them on the street, she looks towards it and swallows hard.
Villain blinks.
Right Hand steps out from the front seat, giving a small smile as he turned to them. "My boss already gave orders, Villain. You should leave," he spoke coldly.
Villain nods, slowly walking away. He hesitates though, keeping an ear out to listen in on the conversation.
Right Hand turns to the young but also old hero, he smiles kindly and opens the door for her.
Hero stays put, only hugging herself as she stared at the door with furrowed eyebrows. Once she sat down, she would have to talk to him. She wasn't gonna take that chance. "I have my car, I can drive home." She spoke quietly.
Right Hand frowns. "He insists." He gives her a look.
Hero bites her lower lip.
Right Hand sighs. "You may have aged but your still as stubborn as a mule."
Hero smiles. "I thought I was stubborn as a brat according to you,"
Right Hand only chuckles. "Please. Get in," he nods to the open door he held. "It's cold. We wouldn't want you to get sick."
Hero pursues her lips before slowly nodding. She ducks down and takes a seat, watching as the door closed. She sighs as the warm heat of the limo engulfed her, warming her up from the cold. She looks down at her lap, not bothering to look at the person who sat across from her.
She closes her eyes, vaguely feeling the limo start to move. She let's out a breath, playing with her fingers.
"You've changed,"
Hero's eyes snap up to meet his when he speaks up. He leant back against the italian black leather of the limo, one of his arms spread on the seat while the other was in his lap. He was staring at her.
"People change," Is the only thing she says before turning her gaze out the window. She watched as the city lights went by, the buildings tall and regal. People laughed all around, the civilians all free and happy.
"Why did you give that hard drive to Villain?" She finally spoke up, turning to him seriously.
Supervillain only cocked an eyebrow. "Why did you hide that hard drive in your bra?"
Hero felt her cheeks flush. "I asked the question first,"
Supervillain shrugs. "It's not like he'll do anything, pesky roach." He mutters, shaking his head.
Hero frowns, shaking her head. "You don't know him like I do. He'll use it for his own benefit, he won't care about the consequences. He'll sell the information and then many heroes will fall under danger."
Supervillain stares at her. "Are you and Villain close?" He asks, patting his lap casually.
Hero shakes her head. "What does that have to do with anything? He's mainly Hero 2's nemesis," she answered his question regardless.
Supervillain only hummed, turning his gaze to the window.
Hero scowls. "Are you even fucking listening to me?" She sits up, her eyes narrowing.
Supervillain chuckles. "There she is. The Hero I know," he smirks, turning to her. "You've been so...docile."
"Call me docile again, I dare you."
"Your docile."
Hero glares at him.
Supervillain shrugs. "Am I wrong? Your so...obedient. Not that it's a bad thing," He shakes his head. "But listening to others obediently is so stupid."
Hero scoffs. "I have a job."
"Yeah. A faulty one,"
Hero glares at him.
Supervillain hums. "Although Villain is powerful, he's not that strong. He won't do anything stupid."
Hero sighs, looking down at her lap and playing with her hands.
"Speaking of stupid... "
Hero looks up at him.
"Since when do you smoke?" Supervillain was frowning at her.
Hero scowls. "Since 2-3 months ago,"
Supervillain stares at her.
Hero huffs. "What? Are you-what are you doing?" She asks in a panic when he moves, sitting down next to her. She squirms, moving closer to the window, eyeing him.
Supervillain stares at her. "Sitting down. Why? Do you have a problem? It's my limo."
Hero glares at him, squirming away from him. "That doesn't make you entitled to come in someone's personal space." She eyes him.
Supervillain leans closer. "Everything in this limo, belongs to me." He whispered.
Hero swallows hard, gripping the fur of her coat tightly as she stared into his eyes.
Supervillain stares at her for a few moments before smirking and pulling away.
Hero looks away, a scowl on her pretty face.
"Still so alluring...." Supervillain hums. "But just as fiery and passionate."
Hero's eyes snap towards his hand which was no on her lap, gentle tracing patterns on her hand. She slaps its away, snapping. "Don't touch me."
Supervillain chuckles, raising his hands in surrender.
Hero sighs as the limo comes to a stop outside her apartment building. She quickly gets out even before Right Hand has a chance to open the door. She pauses, giving him a polite smile.
She spares one last glance towards Supervillain before turning and walking inside.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH
okay so:
I had a dream about this one idea where everyone makes fun of villain for whatever reason. Villain starts to believe all those things, still feels terrible of course, but finds it easier to deal with it all when they just accept those "jokes" as truth.
But well, since I'm a sucker for villain x villain stuff, Supervillain swoops in to help them out of their misery
Thanks a lot in advance and have a wonderful day ❤️♥️
*Me reading this ask*
Tumblr media
My villain x supervillain heart can’t resist. (May just be my favorite ship, even more than hero x villain. Just something about two crime-hardened people being soft for each other)
CW: Bullying, panic attack
"Smile~," the hero said, the big black eye of their phone camera reflecting Villain's queasy face.
The colors were muted, but even so, their skin was far too pale. Their lips seized somewhere between a grimace and a glare. A scribbled line of a mouth that gated off the burn rising in the back of their throat and anything else that might let it loose, even their own words of defense.
They didn't even know who this hero was. They were just some start-up who jumped them in one of the back allies. What was worse was this wasn't the first time. Not even close. Every hero seemed to have eyes on them these days. Even some civilians got the courage to gang up together and get in on the fun.
"Come on," the hero insisted, pouting their lips like they were talking to a baby. "Just one little smile."
Villain swallowed hard on the bile, wincing at the way it scalded on the way down, and shakily rose the corners of their lips. This was fine. It was just a stupid trend. People would forget about it soon. And maybe it was funny. Villain certainly had never met anyone else with such an...interesting reaction to fear. People liked it because it was weird. It was just a joke.
Villain's eyes burned. They'd been wearing these contacts for too long. The wetness pricking in the corner of their eyes stung like salt in a wound.
Wait. Wetness? Were they crying?
No, please. Not now. Not here. Not with their hands bound to a back alley waterspout and this vigilante nobody putting them on their live stream for the whole world to laugh at.
"Aww, why are you crying, buddy? You're just fine. I mean, I've barely touched you aside from those bonds. You're not actually frightened already are you?"
Logically, Villain should be fine. They'd won against stronger heroes than this idiot. So why couldn't they move?
“N-no…” Villain choked weakly. They had meant to shout it, but as soon as their mouth was open, they felt any force on their stomach muscles would be their doom.
Their heart pounded in their ears at this point and it was hard to get enough air with their mouth clamped shut. Dark spots flecked their vision, but the alternative seemed much worse.
No, Villain wasn't frightened. They were terrified.
This hero might be a rookie, but Villain didn't know them. They didn't know what they were going to do to them. Whether this joke extended further than their humiliation. What their limits were. And it was the same story with most of their attackers these last three months. Ever since a reporter caught Villain puking on video in response to Other Hero pinning them in a corner and nearly killing them. They should be somewhat thankful for that; Other Hero's shock had given them the few seconds needed to escape. But in this moment, with so many people talking, so many people watching...it was hard not to see that as a catalyst for a nightmare.
It wasn't the only thing of course...there were also the tics: handwringing during monologues, giving up on schemes when it turned out none of the heroes they were used to were coming, etc. Half a villain the media called them. Because some part of them must be a hero for how much they foiled themself.
Yeah...maybe that was funny. Maybe Villain just needed to understand the joke better, and they would stop being so scared. Maybe if they just went along, things would get better.
"Alright, viewers," the hero said cheerily, "what do you say we spice things up a little."
They moved in closer, and Villain huddled back against the brick wall behind them.
"Now, now, don't freak out. I'm just going to ask questions, and you're going to tell us some things. Things we've all been curious about. Like why you do it."
Villain squeezed their eyes shut as if doing so could hide them from the hero's prickling smirk. They didn't want to talk about this. They didn't want to talk about this. They didn't want to--
"Get that phone out of their face before I choke you with it."
Villain wasn't sure who said it, but there was a yelp and the scrape of two pairs of shoes scuffling in the gravel, and then the pounding of one pair running away. When they opened their eyes, the hero was gone. In their place stood a face they'd only seen on television. Well-dressed, unnaturally attractive, and sharp, diamond-cutting eyes boring into their soul: Supervillain.
Villain gaped. People like Villain didn't just run into people like Supervillain. Maybe they were both criminals, but they were in completely different classes. Supervillain was untouchable. They didn't even bother hiding when they went out because not even the heroes had developed a good protocol to stop them. The media compared them to a cat swatting at flys.
And now they were right here. This...this was...
They doubled over and vomited into their own lap.
Nooo.
The shame blanketed them in a hot haze, and their upper lip went cool with a gathering sheen of sweat. Villain twisted away from Supervillain's face before they could see their disgusted expression. "I'm sorry. I--" They scrunched small and pressed their forehead against the cool brick, swallowing the sour taste trapped in the dry of their mouth several times before mustering up a few more words. "Thank you. Thank you, but... Please go."
"That must hurt." Gentle fingers touched their raw wrists where the ropes pinched and scraped. Something cold and metal laid across Villain's forearm and pressed through the small space beneath the bonds.
Villain flinched and whirled their head back around just in time to see the rope slacken and flutter to the gravel. They stared at the mess of frayed cord for several moments before forcing their gaze toward the master criminal.
Supervillain twirled the long blade back into a holster on their side. A moment later, they unclipped their cape and swept it around Villain's shoulders, fussing with the folds a moment before bundling them up in their arms.
"N-no," Villain protested gripping awkwardly to Supervillain's arm through the fabric as their feet were taken out from under them. "You shouldn't touch me. I-I'll ruin your cape."
"I get it dry cleaned twice a week," Supervillain said, voice vibrating low and even in their chest. "It'll be fine."
Their arms squeezed a little tighter around Villain's form, and with a rush of air, the dark alley shrank and dropped out of sight. It wasn't even that Villain lost sight of it as Supervillain jumped; it was like the world literally folded it out of existence, leaving them sailing through dark nothing. Villain tried to make sense of it, but they were already in a daze, and their lurching stomach wasn't making cognitive functions much easier. Most of the journey was a blur. So it was rather sudden when they found themself on their own two feet again in the middle of a bright, cream-colored living room.
Villain felt like a newborn deer blinking in their first surroundings. It was beautiful. Like something from a home decorating show. Suede sofa, plush rug, tall ceiling...
Supervillain stood to the side, steadily drinking them in, and Villain pulled the cape tighter around them, as if it could shield them from Supervillain's view and hide their obvious displacement . One worn shoe tread halfway over the cream rug and when they edged onto the hard floor, it left an ugly, gray smear.
Villain's eyes leaped up to Supervillain's in a panic, but the master criminal simply looked down and up again. They smiled.
"Why don't you take a shower? Make it as long as you want. I'll leave some clothes outside the door. We'll talk when you're done."
Villain stared.
"Bathroom is straight down this hall. Use any of the products you find; I have a lot."
Villain nodded numbly and unsure what else to do, followed Supervillain's pointing finger into the master bathroom.
It was beautiful too. The bath looked more like a hot tub and the shower was like a walk-in closet. The mirror covered nearly the entire wall and only then did Villain realize how truly pathetic they looked, especially beside the rich, deep blue of Supervillain's cape. Hair a mess, eyes sunken, dirt all over their face, lips bloodless, and just overall small.
Villain broke eye contact with themself and began stripping away the dirty clothes, carefully folding the vomit stains inwards before gingerly piling them on the toilet. The air conditioning from the overhead vent sent a shiver down their spine, but it was nothing compared to the goosebumps still prickling their skin from the incident.
They turned the faucet up to nearly the hottest setting and let all that cold fear and alley grime wash down the drain. Steam gathered comfortingly around them in humid lavender and mint as Villain busied themself with lathering their hair.
It took a long time for their uneasiness to fade, but once it had, they wrapped themself in one of the bathroom's plush towels and peeked outside the door to find a neatly folded pile of clothes: a fleece long-sleeved shirt and a pair of baggy drawstring sweats, all roughly their size.
They dressed quickly, and a little poking under the sink led them to a bottle of mouthwash that rid them of the sour bile taste lingering in their mouth.
Feeling significantly better, Villain padded out to the living room, clenched hands sunk deep into their pockets. They found Supervillain sprawled out across the sofa, a book pinched between thumb and forefinger. They looked up at the sound of Villain's footsteps.
"Ah," Supervillain swung their legs to the rug and waved Villain toward the pillow-covered arm chair across from them. "Please, sit.
Villain did so, hunching their shoulders and staring at their knees. "Um, so, thank you again for um…well…all this, but...what did you want to talk about?"
Why did you bring me here? That was the real question knocking around in Villain's head, but they didn't dare say it loud.
"I haven't introduced myself," Supervillain said, tone as if they'd truly only just realized. "Excuse me, I'm--"
"Th-that's ok," Villain interrupted peering up from under their lashes. "I know who you are."
Supervillain smiled, even looked somewhat flattered as they leaned their elbows on their knees. "Good. I'll be blunt then. I can change your image. That is, if you want."
Villain swallowed. “How?"
"The media is fickle," Supervillain said. "They drop the old for whatever's hot. It may not be exactly what you want, but if you present them with another story, one that overshadows your current image, it will be like all this other stuff never happened."
"And...what would that other story even be?" Villain asked, trying to feel out Supervillain’s angle. There was no way they were doing this out of the kindness of their heart.
Supervillain scooted onto the very edge of the sofa. They clasped their hands, unclasped them, laid them flat on their knees. "Perhaps your new relationship with me?"
Villain choked on their own breath. "My... my what?"
“Think about it! It’s the perfect solution! I’m the biggest name in villainy this city has ever seen, and that’s not my ego talking. No one would dare touch you knowing that you’re associated with me. And with a presence as strong as mine, after a few months, you’ll only be thought of as my partner. This ‘half a villain’ nonsense will fade away.”
Villain had a lot of things on their mind but the first thing that burst out was, "What if it backfires? What if I ruin your image?"
Supervillain chuckled like Villain had something silly. "Not gonna happen."
"So...we'd pretend to date?" Villain said slowly, still trying to figure out why Supervillain was doing this.
"Oh. Oh, no, no, I was thinking more of the real deal,” Supervillain said quickly. “I'm not really into confusing personal feelings with work. But hey, if you're not comfortable, I can see about giving you a job instead. It may take a slower course, but it should still do the trick."
Their smile remained pasted on, but their forehead creased and the nonchalant wave of their hand seemed stiff. They preferred the relationship idea. Not a fake one. A real one.
"Why would you want that?" Villain said.
"Um, because you're adorable?" Supervillain said without hesitation. "We have the same ideals, same job, there must be tons of other things we have in common. And you've got this defenseless vibe around you that I can't resist. I saw you in that first video, and I knew right away: that villain is going to be mine."
"I don't get it."
Villain’s voice cracked without warning. They clenched their fists, but they were already trembling. Was Supervillain in on this too? Was there a hidden camera somewhere amongst all this finery? Ready to broadcast Villain's gullibility? That had to be it. It was the only thing that made sense. There was no way Supervillain—Supervillain!—was interested in them of all people.
“What about that video could have appealed to you? The whole city saw what happened, maybe the whole world. Everyone saw what a joke I was. It's hilarious how bad I am at being a villain. And all those weird things I do, fidgeting and throwing up and all the rest, they must be funny too because I'm a trend now. Why would you involve yourself with that? I'm a total embarrassment!"
Without warning, Supervillain's warm hand slid over their cheek and cupped the left side of their face. Villain wasn’t sure when they crossed the room, but here they were crouched in front of them. They tipped their head up at them, and those shiny eyes drilled earnestly into their eye sockets, maybe saw right through them. Their faces were still a couple feet apart, but it felt as if Supervillain was whispering straight in their ear.
"I want to protect you."
"W-what?"
"Let me protect you," Supervillain said.
Villains mouth had gone completely dry. This whole situation was strange, but a part of them wanted to believe it was true. They were just so tired of hurting.
"Prove that you really want to,” they finally said. “If you can…then ok.”
“That should be easy enough,” Supervillain grinned. They leaned in closer, hands bracing on either armrest. The heat of their breath ghosted against their cheek.
Villain squeezed their eyes shut and tried to steady their trembling. They weren’t prepared for this!
Supervillain’s forehead knocked against Villain’s, the tips of their noses just shy of brushing and… And then they stopped.
Villain cracked open their eyes. Supervillain stared straight through them, irises alive with a deep fire. Gone was the sharp, measuring look they’d maintained most of the night. This was hungrier, more destructive. Without breaking eye contact, they gently rubbed their forehead back and forth against Villain’s.
“I’ll start with the one who hurt you tonight.”
Part Two
