Asshole
Warnings: sprain
"You are such an asshole," Villain grumbled as they hobbled to the couch.
Supervillain muted the TV and stared at Villain. "Generally speaking? Or do you have something specific you would like to complain about?"
Villain groaned as they plopped down. "You were watching our show. Without me!"
Supervillain rolled their eyes. "Babe, I was re-watching the last episode because I fell asleep. Twice."
"Oh," Villain replied sheepishly.
"Yeah." Supervillain stared at their lover. "Come here, let me ice that ankle of yours. You ice fresh sprains." They held out their hand, ice crystals already dancing at their finger tips. "Let me take care of you, babe. Then we can watch the new episode. Together."

May I request a supervillian x villian where the villian begs the supervillian to let them go save their sidekick.
"Don't," the supervillain said, warning.
The villain's fingers curled, nails digging into the end of the armchair. The soft material was threadbare from years of them digging their claws in watching the news, from reason or another, but they'd never...
"I promised I'd protect them," the villain said.
"It's a trap."
"I have to go. I promised."
"And I promised I'd protect you." The supervillain stopped behind them, a looming shadow. It felt icy cold where their shadow fell, raising the hair on the villain's arms. It didn't frighten them though.
"Then protect my heart." It was a whisper.
The supervillain's fingers curled around the villain's throat, tilting their attention away from the corporate horror on the screen and onto the supervillain. Even knowing that their sidekick was in trouble, knowing that every second they sat there was a day where their sidekick could be hurting, they couldn't help but focus on the supervillain.
They were like that. They absorbed everything, whether the villain wanted it to or not.
The supervillain stroked their thumb over the villain's pulse, forcibly slowing it, calming it.
The villain exhaled a broken breath.
"Please," they said again, even as they sagged against the chair, fists unspooling.
"Say you pull this off, say you get them back without getting yourself caught." The supervillain's head tilted, studying them. "Do you think it won't happen again?"
The villain swallowed.
"Loving anything too fiercely in this game is a weakness." The supervillain's eyes blistered into them. "If you go, all it proves is that your sidekick is a target they can hit and hit and hit again until it either no longer gets a reaction from you or there's nothing left. It saves nothing. It protects nothing. Do you understand?"
It made sense. The villain knew that it made sense, but everything inside of them still screamed.
The supervillain's grip tightened a fraction, biting.
The villain's air stuttered.
"Please," they said again. "I'm - I'm asking."
"That's not what you're doing."
"I'm begging. Please."
It was all they could say. There was no logic to the decision, no grand strategic argument. They could say that not going made their enemies believe they could do what they want, take what they want, without consequence, but...
The supervillain sighed. They leaned down to press a kiss atop the villain's head, letting go of the villain's throat.
"No," the supervillain said.
The villain's stomach bottomed out. It crumpled. It compacted, roiling, like so much garbage. Their vision swam as they gasped.
"I said I'd protect you," the supervillain said. "You're not going anywhere." They straightened, battle-gear shrouding them in an instant, transforming them from the villain's sometimes-lover to something else entirely. "I'll take care of this."
The villain twisted, eyes wide.
The villain returned an agonising two hours later, with the villain's sidekick terrified in tow.
The villain stood.
The sidekick flung themselves into the villain's arms, clinging to them for dear life, shaking all over.
The villain met the supervillain's gaze above their sidekick's shoulder, taking in the blood splattered their armour; none of the supervillain's own. They wrapped their arms slowly around their sidekick.
The supervillain smiled, full of teeth.
"The only proper reaction to someone finding a weakness, love," they said, "is to obliterate them. Don't let this happen again."
Then, once again, they were gone.

Caught In 4K - Part 2
Part 1 | Part 3 | Part 4/5
Villain arrived back to base, whistling a cheery tune. They strode across to where Supervillain was hunched over a table and placed a hand on their shoulder.
"Hey Supervillain, I'm back."
"Yes, I heard." Supervillain waved them away, picking up a newspaper and holding it up to their face, studying it. They spun it around to show Villain. "Could you explain this?"
Villain leisurely pulled out a bar stool, jumping upon it before taking a look at the paper. Their eyes widened as they landed on the front cover. A large full-color picture of Villain and Hero making out in an alley took up half the page, the headline reading "Hero Kisses Villain: What Could This Mean For Our City?"
Supervillain pulled away the paper to reveal their displeased expression. "Well?"
Villain's mouth hung open. "Yeah, I... kinda trapped Hero in the alley. It wasn't actually their fault."
"So you had the opportunity to disarm them." It wasn't a question.
"I did, but not by conventional means." Villain gave Supervillain a winning smile, and the latter dropped their head and groaned.
"You're insufferable," Supervillain muttered, turning back to Villain. "Were they at least cute?"
Villain hummed, thinking. "If they were a civilian, I would've kidnapped them in broad daylight."
Supervillain nodded. "Stupid, but sounds about right. Fine, I'll let you off, but don't expect leniency." They pointed an accusing finger at Villain. "From now on, you'll stay professional, got it?"
Villain nodded, offering a salute in response. They hopped off the stool and started to walk away.
Supervillain turned back to their work. No doubt the whole situation would tarnish the reputation of the hero more than the villain. The public would demand an explanation from the Hero Organization. That reminded them...
"Hey, Villain?"
Villain poked their head back into the room. "Yeah?"
"Keep an eye on Hero for these next few days, like a closer one than usual. Just so I know what's happening."
"Sure thing, boss."
The Hero Organization was notoriously ruthless when it came to stuff like this, but if Villain could swoop in and save Hero before anything happened, that would be all the better for Supervillain. True, it would be good for Villain too, but...
Supervillain interlaced their fingers and rested their chin on top, grinning.
...there was always the chance of earning another member on the team.

Prompt #250
Villain curled on pavement, breath fast and heavy as they clutched their broken arm. That bruise on their head didn’t look so great either.
Supervillain stepped over them with as much calmness as they could muster. At the very least, they were shielding them from anymore attacks.
“Step aside,” Hero spat, slamming a threatening fist into the building on their left, a chunk of the concrete cracking and crumbling to the alley ground.
Supervillain chuckled. “So demanding. You’re new.”
“Oh should we have swapped names first?” the hero sneered. “Sorry, you look enough like a villain that I don’t see a point in introducing myself to someone I’m about to exterminate.”
“So you were trying to kill them,” Supervillain said through a forced smile. They were barely holding back their fury now. Their power coursed up through the bloodstream, making their whole body hot. “Well, this is going to be an unfortunate lesson for you. But don’t worry, I’ll give you an extra tip: next time you want to be a hero, think smarter about who you attack. You never know who they might belong to.”

June of Doom Day #11
Alternate prompts- "Who did this to you?!" | Attending Your Own Funeral | Mask |
June Of Doom Prompt List @juneofdoom
Faking their death was surprisingly easy. A good alibi, a well-placed bomb, the subtle framing of another villain, and that was it, Villain was dead.
The hard part came afterward.
It was easy to get into their own funeral- why they went they didn't know, but they wanted to attend. The villain group in the city had a specific funeral ritual, everyone attending was told to wear a certain cloak and mask.
No one recognized them when they slipped in the back.
No, the worst part of faking their own death was watching the way Supervillain reacted. Their mask was silver, standing out from the sea of black masks, meant to symbolize their closeness with the deceased.
Though Villain couldn't see their face, they could hear their sobs echoing in the silent hall, see their shoulders shaking.
Villain knew they shouldn't get closer, but they couldn't help themself.
Silently slipping through the crowd, completely unnoticed by the mourning throng, Villain approached Supervillain. Supervillain didn't see them either, too caught caught up in their grief.
At last Villain stood behind them, close enough that their cloaks brushed. They wished more than anything that they could reach out toward Supervillain, pull them into a hug and tell them it was alright, that they were fine, they were right here.
"Villain," Supervillain whispered, and Villain nearly jumped. "Who did this to you?"
Villain closed their eyes, let out a silent breath.
Someday Supervillain would know. But now it was best that they were kept in the dark.
With one last glance at their partner, Villain turned and disappeared into the crowd once more.

💫Writing Prompt #66
Villain likes to stay low key. They’re so powerful that they’ve become desensitized and bored by the world. They choose to join the villain’s league because there’s nothing better to do, really. Despite Villain not trying all that hard, Supervillain’s recently noticed Villain’s competency and assign Villain to work closely with them. This care is new to Villain, and they start to enjoy Supervillain’s company.
However, Supervillain is the total opposite of Villain. Always in the limelight, super charming and engaging. Other villains, civilians, and even heros flock to them like moths. It’s so annoying. Villain is jealous of the people constantly taking Supervillain’s attention away. Why? Do they want that power to sway the room too? Unable to understand the complicated new emotions roiling inside them, Villain decides the only solution is to stage a coup and takes over Supervillain’s position.
Only when Supervillain is dragged before them, glaring with hatred, does it finally click in Villain’s dense head. It was never Supervillain’s power that they wanted. It was Supervillain.
Ah sh*t……was it too late to buy flowers and grovel for forgiveness?

Villain shook their head, staring at the supervillain with wide horrified eyes.
SuperVillain was holding Hero's head with their head, a insane wide smile on their face. "Surprised Villain?" They smirked, tossing Hero's head near Villains feet.
"Hope you like your gift!" SuperVillain laughed.

Civilian gulped as they looked around the room of their boss's office, taking in the two henchman on either side of them with Villain behind the desk.
"What do we have here?" Villain mused with a tilt of their head as one of the henchmen shut the office door behind Civilian, startling them.
"I-I was just coming to get Boss's portfolio…for-for the meeting tomorrow morning?" Civilian cleared their throat in hopes of steadying their voice. "What…um what are you doing here?"
Villain's face lit up as a wide smile spread across their face and Civilian gulped once again wondering if maybe that question put them in danger.
"Well, that's not important right now. What is important is that you've seen me and my henchmen here and I can't have that." The two henchmen raised their guns at Civilian but stood down when Villain raised a hand.
"If you're going to kill me… just do it already?" They hated the way their voice made it sound like a question instead of something a bit more braver. It wasn't the first time they had a gun on them or anything but it was still scary each time nonetheless.
"I know you…" Villain stated instead, shaking a pointed finger at Civilian as they stepped around the desk toward them. "Yes! You're Civilian! Hero's 'supposed to be secret' little helper hmm?"
They gripped Civilian's chin and forced them to look into their eyes. "You are that Civilian aren't you?"
"If I say yes…does that mean you're going to hurt me instead of jus-just killing me outright?" Civilian asked them with a shaky breath, side-eyeing the patiently waiting henchmen who still brandished their weapons as they waited for orders from Villain.
"No, it just means I'm going to-ah, let's just say…convince- you to join me…What do you think about that?" Villain released their chin and took a step back with a smirk.
"Why on earth would I work with you?"
The henchmen snickered in response as if they knew something that Civilian didn't while Villain's smirk broadened back into a smile they flashed enigmatically at them.
"Because I know that if Hero finds out about your past with Supervillain…" Villain took a step back closer, leaning in to whisper into Civilian's ear. "they wouldn't hesitate to hurt you to get to Supervillain."
Their heart sank. No one was supposed to know about that. Blinking rapidly, they tried to regain their composure but Villain kept on talking.
"Now that I think about it, what would Supervillain think of his darling Civilian helping Hero of all people when they swore to be out of the life? One might think you're back in the game…" Villain's eyes hardened to steel despite the smile still plastered on their face.
"I'm not, I swear I'm not! H-Hero found me, at home, and they said that I had to or they'd leak me location-"
Villain tutted and shook their head in mock disappointment. "What Hero should have done…is take you prisoner and have you on call, what with all your computer skills and capabilities… bit of a waste to let you roam free when there's much to do."
"And…what are you going to do?"
Again the henchmen snickered, one of them reaching out with a pair of zip ties after being given the signal from Villain.
"W-wait a minute…Supervillain-"
"Supervillain still thinks you're out of the game, remember? They're not coming to save you. And Hero? You were nothing more than a tool to them so it's safe to say they won't mind if I monopolize you."
With that the henchmen leapt forward, restraining Civilian and zip tying their hands behind their back and securing a clothed gag into place.
Villain motioned to leave and the henchmen began to drag Civilian away and out the office door only to be stopped by a figure in the hallway. Sighing, Villain flipped the hallway light switch on illuminating the space before turning to address the figure.
"Always so dramatic with your entrances, aren't you? Hero."
"That is my resource Villain. Not yours."
Civilian blinked slowly as they looked between the two, they realized they were nothing more than a tool for either one of them and they were sure a fight was about to go down over it.
With Supervillain it had been different. There was mutual understanding between the two, a partnership. Never once did Supervillain refer to them the way Hero was now, or look at them the Villain did in the office as they were sized up for their hacking and computer potential.
Civilian was used to being nothing more than a brain but it still hurt to be called a resource or seen as nothing more than a means to an end.
"No, Civilian is mine and if you two value you're miscreant little lives you will leave them with me and skidaddle."
They all turned to Supervillain phasing through the hallway wall to join in with a scowl on their face as if Hero and Villain were just misbehaving children fighting over a toy.
"Smph-vmph!" Supervillain is what Civilian had tried to say through the gag but they couldn't have been more happier to see their former employer.
They also didn't know whether to feel relieved or worried that Supervillain was here after all because that also meant that they had never really let them go in the first place and had probably watched them the entire time…including Civilian breaking their promise to stay out of the game.
"Before you two think any further... I can take the five of you out with a flick of my wrist. And yes, Villain, I included your little henchmen because if they don't release my Civilian right now they will get the beating of their lives." Supervillain stated matter-of-factly as they waited for Villain to comply.
"Of course, they're uh…all yours." Villain mumbled dejectedly, motioning the henchmen to cut the zip ties and remove the gag.
With a rough push at their back Civilian stumbled forward in the direction of Supervillain when they caught them up in their arms and pushed Civilian behind them.
"As you were." Supervillain gave a triumphant smirk as they phased back out through the wall with their Civilian, leaving Hero to stare down Villain and their two henchmen.

You'll end up just like them
"I've been trying my best," the henchman begins, voice shaking a little. "T-to make sure that.. that you're satisfied in my work."
Supervillian takes a step forward, henchman takes two back. "I-i've made s-sure that... that that I hid everything! A-and I even double checked with the other henchmen, villian, and right hand!"
"And am I to believe that right hand would give out my most trusted information to a group of heros?" The supervillian asks, voice deep and angry. The henchman can only swallow.
They know that the information was kept secret and safe, thet only gave right hand and villian the code to unlock document.
"W-well there's still villian, they're the only two I gave the codes to." Henchman says quietly. Supervillian roughly grabs them by the collar of their shirt.
"You better find out who it was or you're gonna end up just like Other villain."

LAZY MORNINGS
Villain woke to a pair of lips pressed softly against their cheek. They failed to stop a grin from spreading across their face and opened their eyes to see their lover hovering above them, like an eager child peering at their parents on Christmas morning.
‘You’re finally awake!’ Hero laughed, swooping down for another kiss which Villain eagerly returned.
‘Hello darling,’ they said, voice still husky with sleep, as they pulled themselves from the warm cocoon of blankets and melted into Hero’s equally cosy embrace.
‘You came in late last night,’ Hero murmured, nuzzling into Villain’s neck. ‘I fell asleep.’
Villain hummed at Hero’s soft touches. ‘Apology accepted.’ Hero giggled.
‘What, no hugs for me?’ A new voice broke in.
Villain turned to see Supervillain leaning against the bedroom doorway, wearing a pink apron bearing the words ‘Hot Stuff Coming Through’ over their striped pyjamas.
‘Only because you’re making breakfast,’ Villain teased, clambering out of bed to peck Supervillain on the lips.
‘I see how it is,’ Supervillain dramatically clutched their chest. ‘After three years, you’ve finally picked your favourite spouse - and it’s not me.’
‘Nope!’ Villain stuck their tongue out and followed the smell of coffee to the kitchen, Hero and Supervillain bickering and laughing behind them.
The three of them settled into their routine - Hero perched on a barstool with the daily puzzles after relinquishing the actual news articles to Supervillain, Villain leaning against the countertop, sipping from their mug while fiddling with the radio.
Golden morning light beamed through the windows, illuminating the verdant plants on the windowsill, the wooden floor and pooling in the living room beyond. It gilded Hero’s curls, danced around their slender fingers curled around a pencil, and turned Supervillain’s eyes molten and rich. Villain relaxed, feeling a blooming warmth spread through them that had nothing to do with the sun or their hot coffee.
Lazy mornings were the best.

Hello writer of most beloved snippets! Might I request a little something? I'd love to see Hero get injured by Supervillain and then have Villain go absolutely feral and just destroy Supervillain because that's their Hero and no one is allowed to touch them
Hello, friend! I am so glad you like what I put out there. I can definitely write this for you.
Please enjoy!
Warnings: physical violence, head injury, unconsciousness, blood
Villain's blood ran cold as they stumbled upon the fight. They had every intention of finding Hero and challenging them tonight. They did not think they would be challenging Supervillain instead.
They watched, consumed by rage, as Supervillain flung Hero like a rag doll into the wall. They watched, seeing red, as Hero crumpled to the ground and remained unmoving. And they watched, jaw clenched, as Supervillain flung the clearly unconscious Hero through the air once more.
Villain surged forward, catching Hero quickly. This was not ok. This was not acceptable. Hero lay limply in their arms, nose bleeding heavily. They had a cut along their eyebrow and a cut along their hairline. "Wake up," Villain urged, shaking Hero hard.
But Hero didn't wake.
"Oh, did I break the pathetic, little Hero?" Supervillain sneered as they came to stop just out of Villain's reach.
Villain was going to end them. "They're alive." Hero was theirs to beat. Theirs to hurt. Theirs to destroy. Not Supervillain's.
"Shame," Supervillain said as they stared down their nose at Hero. "I would have thought that last hit fractured their skull. No matter. I can finish them off now."
"Leave them alone," Villain growled as Supervillain walked towards them. Hero was theirs and theirs alone.
Supervillain stopped. "Why? I'm just putting a wounded animal out of its misery." Supervillain cocked their head. "Or would you like the honor?"
"You are not to touch a hair on their head, Supervillain." Villain laid Hero down gently.
"Or what?" Supervillain raised their hand once more.
Villain didn't hesitate. They charged, unleashing the power that they had hidden for so long. "They are mine to fight. Mine to hurt. Mine to destroy."
Supervillain's face paled. Villain had hidden so much power. "I didn't mean--"
But Villain didn't care. They were going to ensure that Supervillain never interfered again. The last thing they saw before the darkness enveloped everything around them was Supervillain's terror filled eyes. "I will destroy you. And then Hero will be all mine once more," Villain hissed into the gathering darkness.

Writing Prompt 62
Villain whimpered, twisting their fingers through Supervillain's hair.
"Th-this is my office. The d-door is wide open, anyone could walk in..."
Supervillain chuckled and looked up at Villain's flushed face.
"Then you'd better make sure they don't come close enough to see me, huh?"

Prompt #40
“Can’t we stay?” Villain sounded so broken it pained Supervillain’s heart. He tightened the hug they shared in an effort to comfort them “No.” his voice cracked, “We won’t... it's only for tonight.” Villain didn’t respond, only hiding their teary eyes by sinking their face into Supervillains chest, tightly holding onto their boss with the little strength they had left. They both thought it would be a good life, pursuing what they want with their powers and evading anyone who’d try to stop them. But now everything has crashing down. Superhero decided it was time to go after the criminal duo, first going after all their henchmen and allies. Even Thief and Vigilante got caught in the crossfire and now it’s their turn…

Prompt #253
Supervillain leaned their cheek on their fist, watching Villain type intently on their phone from across the table. A slow-growing ache rose behind their ribs, but when Villain smiled at their screen, that ache felt like a stab.
“Are you texting Hero?”
Villain looked up, blinked a couple times and set the phone face down on the table. “They’re just letting me know there’ll be a stand-in for them tomorrow.”
“Did they say something funny?”
“Huh?”
“You smiled. Was it something funny along with the information?”
“Just a joke, why are you being so sensitive?”
Supervillain let out a long sigh.
“You’re just dating me to make them jealous, aren’t you? And to get me out of their way.”

The supervillain cradled villain's face in their hands and looked over them carefully. "Are you okay, baby? That was a terrible fall."
The villain smiled back at them and replied, "I'm perfectly fine, thank you for worrying about me; you're so sweet!"
"Can we like, just get out of here and then you guys can continue your PDA? The entire government is behind us for God's sake!" Sometimes, the sidekick contemplates kicking both of them out of the organisation if given the power.
